well somebody haven't laughed in a while somebody still haven't laughed some of you lovely too much some you just put your side so I'll be busted again a little bit ok here let it go so that's my ministry ministry of release that's why I'm here I put a church here to clean it up but hopefully some of you feel encouraged I used to be a worried about the one person that wasn't laughing some people are going through it right now you have a laugh - I have a lot too - laughs about where they just anxiety fear your marriage made me on the rocks I don't know I'm telling you what where I'm coming out of a real tough period but God has given me breakthrough in my mirror and she'll make jokes about it and I do love my wife but we've been in third man and I had a problem with self-centeredness and to be honest with you it took us to the brink and it was it was not looking good she had had about as much as she could take I mean we've been through cancer we've been through kids now I'll tell you what that self-centered balls of Tuffy and I know there's some calls here tonight you really truly love each other but you keep going in circles and you keep hitting the wall but the Bible says to submit to one another now the secular the world leaders envision us submitting is but it means love one another serve one another it changed my life the day I found out that to love my wife is to serve her not a windy way but in a loving way the way I really do to love God and to love her with all I told her I said honey your that your the rest of my life here my goal you are it it changed everything a two-way pressure took away anxiety because this world there's a lot of things going on I'm from st. Louis right close to Ferguson I'm telling you that's a family issue our families to break it down and God was her family's to be strong he wants our marriages to be it's not a joke but there is hope in Jesus here and God is so gracious that he's given us laughter to help us do things we can't process any way else things happen to me all the time I don't know what to do with you know I got an email a couple weeks ago this guy said hey Tim I'm a police officer I'm a big fan I just want to let you know we busted a meth house this week and found one of your DVDs [Laughter] I don't know how to process but I think this world is gonna change not by a bunch of good people it's gonna be changed by people or transformed folks Jesus Christ didn't come to the world to make bad people good he Kingdom and dead people alive he's the light of the world not only does God love you he don't hate you he doesn't hate you well we believe in that the finished work of the Cross Bible says you are the righteousness of God in Christ you were clothed in the righteousness of Jesus that means when God looks at you no matter what he sees Jesus I could do that and if you still feel bad about yourself I have so many stories about me that'll make you feel better about you here's an example I was in the prodigal son drama at my church many years ago I was cast as the father of the prodigal son it was a huge deal there's like a thousand people that didn't train and I had one line in the whole drama my line was is when my son came along my line was killed with fatted calf put a robe on him and put a ring on his finger and [Laughter] I said kill the fatted calf put a robe on him and give him the finger how do you feel about yourself now you can't take that back Virginia's out there the audience was like is that the script they must be using the message Bible [Applause] [Music] it's great it's just I'm it's a cool part of the car the country we were blessed a couple days to go to hang out in Maryland at the Fort McHenry we got to hang out there for a day that was just as Barry gave me a lot of pride and just a lot of wonder and just just seeing where there the flag was that inspired our great national anthem I love the national anthem it's a great song it's the best in the world our national anthem is the best of all games baseball games they have somebody that performs the national anthem before the before the game and sometimes these singers put their own little twist to it and do their own little way and sometimes it's really good so I always want to see celebrities perform the national anthem you would never expect you know like I'm a huge reggae fan I love Bob Marley of course he passed away years ago Bob Marley but uh I was wondering here Bob do our National Anthem see if he would do it in his style I think even doing something like this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] well you're a tough nut to crack Virginia I never heard about no one do the national anthem kids you don't know who that is good for you oh say can you see by the dawn's early light [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the driver says dream [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] monkey and chicken her in the national anthem a that was Bob Dylan and Dave Matthews having a conversation I just want to see Bob Dylan Dave Matthews and a goat having a conversation to see if he can tell who was who [Laughter] that was Bob Dylan but to finish off his thought this bit in the show and this night I've never heard her who Springsteen do our national anthem that's right of a huge balls of and so I think Bruce Springsteen would do our anthem [Music] [Music] free home of the brave USA [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music]
