every night i was here and i loved every night every night thursday was awesome awesome awesome dean guns okay be specific dd guns we're not going to say just regular no it's okay he was awesome that word was such an on-time word so good it was just about not missing your moment right and that's not too late to continue in your mind right right i loved it he literally said that life is about uh fulfillment and yeah you know when he was talking about it i was just like my god he was talking about different seasons and i just started to think you know a lot of times we have these ideas and we have these things we want to do but a lot of times we get stuck in the thought process of it and we don't do the grit for execution we stay in thought and we don't get to execution and he was really talking about being fulfilled in life but not being fulfilled doing whatever you want right god's will over your life that's the key point god will okay and then friday that concert was another killer night all those throwback songs it took me back you know i've been here since i was 10. it took me back i was in my seat like yes pew baby a pew baby yes so i was in here rocking out screaming because i don't be singing ivy screamed it was a concert it was a concert no it was amazing y'all like i i sat in the front row right and i was rocking out and you know what he got the choir out of abundant he said where are my sopranos at then he called for the autos i hope you're at home singing along as well the the words were on the screen right they were so then if you didn't know the words because they were throwbacks you know them now go cop those cds and then saturday did you come out i saw you out there saturday y'all okay it was hot it was hot but you know what i love being out in the sun because i always say it's an opportunity for me to get darker love it because black is beautiful black is beautiful but feminine on that like guys it was just so much fun they will see the and the mayor came out too he was having a great time he was helping him sing and i was gonna clap for him no matter what but it was just an awesome time getting together with our church family the community came out some guy joined church who came on saturday he joined on sunday just off of that event one of the best parts of this whole weekend on saturday we did street evangelism and you know part of the great commission is to go out into all nations uh go out and make disciples of all nations and to do that you have to actually go out you know you have to talk to the people tell them about jesus and that's what happened on saturday so are some of our eight lifers and the street evangelism team went out and somebody not only got saved but joined abundant life family worship church because of it we're doing god's work yes i love that of jesus the hands and feet of jesus we had an awesome time and of course my bishop uh on sunday ah came and wrapped us up he sure did y'all so bishop just much like dean guns he spoke about uh seasons and purpose and fulfillment and one thing he said is if you miss the season you're in you're gonna miss the season that's gonna come after and i said my god today that was heavy that was heavy but that was heavy that's so true and so real for me personally i don't want to miss it yeah so i need to be here every thursday okay i need you guys to come every thursday you don't want to miss it you don't want to miss your season that would be the worst thing to have this thing pass you by then have to go to the next generation because you didn't answer the call yeah and so he he even spoke about following leadership spoke about the call commitment and the courage to follow what god wants you to do and i just started to think you know between dean guns and bishop and what they're talking about a lot of it has to do with the lordship of jesus and how we are not we are not our own people our lives are not our own we are submitted to the lordship of christ as believers and so where he goes we go we follow him that's that's our job that's what we're meant to do we're simply vessels yeah we're cups you know i saw this post that said the cups in my cupboard don't get to choose what they want in it or how they hear how they're used and that's us we're meant to simply follow what the lord wants us to do that's part of fulfilling our purpose because our purpose is his will i love that okay yeah i tweet that tweet that thing about the guy that's okay we're just i'm a cop are you guys so tonight at the gathering we had the pleasure of having um a true gathering with abundant life revival city and a resting place house of prayer we all came together for a great new kind of night yes and it's going to be pastor pastor t hayashi yes all the way from brazil she had to say it because she had an accent she did excellent yeah he's from the sin and we're just so excited about what's about to happen in this house of god you need to come into the building but thank you for tuning in because you don't you you can't hear it already you feel it i feel it i feel it like i'm sitting here talking to y'all but my spirit is at the awesome okay okay you said that you know about this ministry yes so guys hayashi is an amazing man of thought and what's happening tonight between the collaborations of the church [Music] [Music] virtually and then the year before that they did a gathering in orlando florida where similar things were happening and guys it's such a move of god where they're just being like pouring out fresh anointing just ambitions minds and a missions movement living by christ being the handsome feet of jesus and it's just so good just can you imagine if as each and every single one of us we if we recognize the importance of our voices and we went out and told people about jesus the amount of gathering we could do let's gather okay let's gather let's gather let's gather not just thursday night let's gather every day of the week even if you start in your own home okay yeah bring those people to god with you bring those people to church virtually with you in the house with you and then when you go to work or school yes reach out to them too because we can be a part of the sin exactly we can be a part of this we're supposed to be that's our purpose yes to be witnesses yes so do your do your part yeah i want to go into the kingdom what about you i want to go there but i also want to bring people there key i want to bring you can you bring me i will bring you and i'm going to bring you in we will hold hands and we will skip skipping i really pray that you catch what is going to happen today don't miss it don't miss it don't miss it do not miss it this is part of uh of being saved you know pastor george often says that we like to stay in holy huddles everybody around us is saved but a big part of what we're meant to do is bring jesus to those who aren't saved and you know share the gospel if you don't know how to do it you know i have like a quick five five finger thing where okay one the earth was good everything was good until adam and eve sinned which was not good right that's not good then the middle finger that's what brought the curse where because they sinned now death was our portion okay right and then the ring finger is the promise the promise of jesus jesus and through jesus we have the promise the pinky promise for everlasting life pinkie pinkie promise for everlasting life so use that tool to share that's really really good where'd you get that from you know so actually one of the ministries that's with the send is circuit riders and i do ministry with them all right mission stuff with them so yeah that's where i got it from we love that and we are going to take that put that in our back pocket we're going to head into service too because we don't want to miss this moment yeah we don't want you to miss it so thank you for tuning in make not going to be disappointed while you're watching wherever you're in your living room in your bedroom wherever you're watching tonight god has something special for you just before the man of god comes just before the word of the lord comes would you do me a favor abundant life members of you that are watching and some of you that are in the same church would you prepare your hearts to sow a good seed into good ground we want to bless the lord tonight with our tithe with our offering and this is our thursday night gathering and we're going to do what we normally do in that respect is that okay how many believe that the days for you to be broke busted and disgusted are over he said i wish above all things that thou mighters prosper and be in good health even as you're so prosperous and the reason for that is so that you can be a blessing to somebody else i don't know about you but i'm ready for an overflow of being blessed so i can overflow in somebody else's life and bless somebody else i will bless the lord at all times and this praise shall continually be in my mouth those who are watching you know how you give give a fly you give online you know how you do on your phones on our website you know how to give so father we thank you for the privilege and the honor that you afforded us to sow good seed in the good ground we thank you for this blessed opportunity to support the church and the work of ministry that you have established in the city of new brunswick on george street thank you lord for every heart that gives tonight that sows the seed tonight for your honor and for your glory i pray and father i pray that as the seed is being sown that you're going to supply the need you're going to supply you promise to do it lord so we're just going to just going to believe you for it and expect it so lord we set ourselves with great expectations in honor of our seed and in honor of you tonight as we give these blessings to be asked in jesus name let all god's celebration uh if you don't know just last week it felt like it was all all week wednesday thursday friday saturday and sunday we celebrated 30 years of ministry here in the city of new brunswick bishop george c right my dad hallelujah and my mom pastor mary c wright they have been laboring for 30 years and we had a bunch of folks out and so and so here it is tonight and i start calling here y'all come on out come on out amen we got some guests and i'm so grateful for those who are who are able to make it out tonight thank you thank you so much you're in for a treat and listen i'm about to to bring up uh taiyo but i just wanted to kind of give you a little backstory on how god has been putting all of these things together somebody say a good story all right i'm gonna try my best um because there are times when we need to really map out what god has been been doing in our lives you know sometimes we get a little upset about you know some of the activity but god is always at work and it began through a relationship that ali introduced me to bishop stearns who who told me that if i don't go to israel i'm not really a good pastor and not really a good preacher and no he really did he really did make me feel bad and so i went out of like man let me just because every time i see him he's going to yell at me or something and i went and my life was changed and it wasn't just spiritually and what god was doing but it was also what god was putting around me it's not about what you're doing it's about who you're doing it with and so i was able to connect with this with this guy who had a group of people i didn't know if it was a gang with him or they were going to beat me up or something but teo came up in there and bishop said do you know who that is that that's tail man they all from brazil and and there any brazil in the house anybody from brazil up in here come on scream at me yes sir and they came so deep how many pastors came with you 20 it was it was 20 but it seemed like it was so much more and uh and so we traveled together on the on our journey there um in israel and in a relationship with spawn and uh and i said god i thank you and then i get a call here it is now 2021 2020. it's 20 21. and uh pastor christian allen i don't know if he's in the back can we give him a hand from how church any how church in the house come on believe it's garfield he we were talking and uh he said tails coming to town then he called ali farrow from resting place resting place in the house come on family ali's ali's family here he's easily see huh promotion comes come on he's so humble he's so funny and and and he said he said gee man let's let's let's bring tail in and let's come to new brunswick man let's bring him to pop's house and uh and i said dad you gotta you gotta do this one and uh and so we are so honored that tail would come uh and and and represent what he's going to talk more about the send and what just god is doing revival is breaking out all in brazil churches are you know i know we in america and we're so over churched um but revival's been breaking out in brazil and churches have been open and hundreds of people i know it doesn't even sound we're in america but but hundreds of people are flocking to go to church revival's actually happening and so without further ado can we all just stand and just honor this gift uh as as tayo would come tell ha i said it right to him hayashi as he comes at this time come on can you give jesus a big clap off from wherever you are right now come on you can do better than that we love you lord we love you god shame well you can be seated i am so happy to be here who's excited for what god's gonna do tonight come on turn to your neighbors say i hope you're ready because god's gonna stretch your faith are you ready to be stretched tonight i just want to first off say it's an honor to be with you we were actually um last night in the middle of a small town in the middle of tennessee johnson city i don't know if you've ever heard of johnson city but uh it was a good time out there and seen that the holy spirit is moving across the land can somebody say amen to that and tonight i get to be here with you and i just want to thank bishop george c wright first lady mary searight for opening up this building for us thank you so much thank you bishop thank you pastor george for setting this up we had pastor christian allen also working we got trot in the house ali faro in the house my longtime friend over 15 years of friendship with pastor adam lavecki also from new jersey and i'm just so happy to really be amongst family here amen and you know pastor george mentioned a little bit of what god is doing in brazil and i'm happy that although the press you know they're always letting you know about the bad news but how many of you know that you got to start feeding yourself with what god is doing and you got to focus on what god is doing so that your faith is strengthened and so i want to share a little bit about about these stories with you if that's okay and uh you know you're looking at my name where you were looking at my name and it's japanese so i am actually a japanese brazilian and uh i have my cousin with me she's actually a resident of new jersey uh pastor charisma and uh and i i got other people here that she brought but anyways our family came from japan to brazil as missionaries and uh my grandfather came to plant churches in uh the communities of japanese immigrants and so uh you know i grew up hearing about the stories i i grew up in church and i grew up hearing the stories of of the mission work that this great man of god and his wife my grandma started and they were planting churches and they actually planted the free methodist japanese churches in south america now it's interesting because although he was in brazil he's still very very japanese and so he was actually doing a lot of good work and so the free methodist supervisors flew out from michigan out to give him an award and him as a good samurai said i'm doing nothing but my obligation i refuse the award and so my mother one of eight kids the only one that was single at the time all the other seven were married she says if he's refusing i'll take it and so they said oh what what that graduated already she was still single you know teaching of uh she was a teacher she says i've always wanted to study more of the bible do you have a free methodist university in america that i could go and do my masters of theology and i said yeah actually we do we have one out in southern california azusa pacific university and so she went out there to study this is early 70s and i'll let i'll let you know why i'm saying this because in the 70s in southern california if you are a lover of revival you know that something is happening right there so she was being set up by the holy spirit and so she lands there and one of her friends when her best friend says i need to take you to a meeting tonight it's at the shrine auditorium and you you have to go to to hear this lady speak and she says okay i'll go who is this lady speaking katherine coleman said okay well i've never heard of her let's go so she goes and sits in the balcony and she says that the choir sang and it was beautiful and then she says you know it was everything so glorious and then suddenly this you know skinny tall white lady comes on stage with the big dress and she says come holy spirit and my mom said that for the first time in her life she said i didn't see it i could feel it but it was as if there was a wave of energy coming and hit me on the balcony and she says this thing that i read in acts is true and uh in those meetings she got an experience with the holy spirit and then when she moves back to brazil only to find out that the denomination doesn't accept danny so she's kicked out and so she has to start a bible study and revival starts breaking out now i want to pause the story real quick and i want to take you to this day that i was having dinner in hawaii six years ago and i'm sitting there with a good friend of mine his name is andy bird and he's one of the leaders at the wyoming kona campus and we're talking about you know just revival because we're in love with revival and he says you know what you know my mother who's passed away he says used to sing in catherine coleman's choir so really yeah she didn't travel with catherine coleman but every time catherine coleman would come to los angeles or the southern california area she would sing in that choir and i said when did she come and his father says i remember those days he says 1970 71 and 72 and i said mom when were you at catherine comey's meeting he says it was 1971. so i'm saying well is is there a possibility that you were in a different place and then any bird in his dad says catherine coleman would only preach at this auditorium and she my mother would always sing in that choir so we found out that the day that my mother had an experience with the holy spirit my friend's mother was singing in the choir now i'm telling you about divine connections why is that because today i work with andy byrd and we have uh this mobilization and we're calling young people for missions and would you believe that there are things that you will walk into that the lord has prepared for you even before you showed up in this earth would you believe that if you just ask the holy spirit would you give me the divine connections now let me tell you something you are actually one connection away from the purpose of god in your life there are certain breakthroughs that you need to experience you're only one connection away do you believe that i so believe that that every morning i wake up and i pray lord bring me the divine connections when i look at my life and i see the breakthroughs that the holy spirit has allowed me to live i see and i discern they came through connections people will open the doors for the divine purpose that lays on your life can somebody say amen to that now let me go back to the story about my family and so i grew up in this church and i remember you know just growing up in church and and i'll spare you a lot of the the my grown-up pains and my trauma but i'll just say this uh you know my my way of escaping some of the things that i grew up uh having to experience as a child in a trauma was soccer and so i found out that through sports i would just kind of you know live my own life and i my dream as every brazilian kid was to be a pro soccer player every brazilian kid wants to be a pro soccer player i found out that i wasn't that good enough to be a professional soccer player in brazil but i thought to myself if i'm not good here maybe i'm good enough to play in america easy come on now and i did i did i came out to a a private college down in pennsylvania to to go play ball and uh i remember that you know before i came my family said hey when you get there make sure that you look for a bible club a christian club or something you got to find some christians on campus you know they were super afraid because they had heard stories you know colleges in america they go crazy all these kids are christians and they lose their faith in their campuses and my mom is like hey please you'll find some christians there so i'll do that so i get there and i go to this first meeting it's a it's a bible club i sit around there's maybe i don't know 20 30 people there and uh they're very shy and they look very scared and they're singing uh out of tune with their guitars and i'm just kind of you know freshman year sitting there trying to understand what's going on and then suddenly uh the leader shows up and he says he opens the meeting saying after their worship he says guys the semester is beginning but we will survive i'm like what is this it was like they were playing defense saying we don't want to be contaminated by that's outside and immediately i'm like i don't want to do anything to do with that crowd so i'm like a bunch of losers i'm out of here so i'm like where's the fun and that actually put me on a route where i became cold and cold in my faith and distant from god but i'll tell you what people ask me hey did you want to sin when you were backslidden i mean did you backslide because you wanted to sin and i tell them the truth is it's not that i wanted to sin i was actually just bored i was just bored so i was looking where's the excitement oh it's in the club i'm gonna go to the club where's the phone it's with those guys i'm gonna go to with them it's not like i want to sin i want to have fun and then suddenly and i'll tell you if you grow up like i grew up i grew up with a god-fearing you know fire-spitting prayerful woman of god that would come late at night and i'd be as a child laying in my bed and she would come into my bedroom she would lay her hands on my head and this is how she would pray in jesus name you will not find pleasure in the world in jesus name you will never find happiness outside the will of god shape you walk out so i be in the club trying to have fun trying to sin and all my friends were having fun sinning and i'm like i'm trying i'm trying and then i feel guilty go to church i'll be in the back and i see all my friends they're in love with jesus at the altar oh and i'm like i can't do that but i can't do that so i'm freaking miserable somebody ever been there but i remember man i was trying to harness in spring break sophomore year i was in a club in tampa florida ybor city man i don't remember much all i remember it was a big blur three four five days it was probably the fourth or fifth day of spring break i'm in the club and suddenly on the dance floor i sense something and i'm thinking no no no this can't be happening this is a club and i'm starting to sober up real quick real quick and there's like this thing coming up in me i'm like no you're not gonna cry here you can't do that stuff here you're in a club and i'm weeping like i used to weep in church nobody preached at me nobody prayed for me nobody said anything i was weeping and people looked at me and they were saying what'd you take i'm like i didn't take anything you wouldn't understand if i told you you didn't grow up like i grew up and i said i got to get out of here and so i ran in the bathroom and kid you not inside this club i grabbed i went in the bathroom threw water on my face i'm like god i can't believe you you're actually coming right now you're not supposed to come here and the lord says i'm calling you to live for a lot more than what you're living you were made to live a way more than what you're living i said god what do you have for me and the lord said i got an adventure for you said lord if you have an adventure for me i want to live what i read in acts i don't want to be like those kids in can on campus that are scared to death of sin scared of the world being playing defense all the time although it says i got an adventure for you i remember i got out of that bathroom wind and found my friend on the dance floor and i was actually staying with him he was playing soccer at university of tampa i was visiting with him with some of my other friends and i said hey give me the keys i'm out of here we got into an argument he's like you're not going to get out of here i'm like i'm going to get out of here give me the keys i'm out of here he's like no i'm like there's the after party and i'm like you can go to the after party give me the keys so he already gives me the keys i get out i go to the double doors boom fling open step on the sidewalk and i hear a voice inside my chest and the voice said why wham i had never heard a woman in my life i just knew it was y-w-a-m and that thing was like why when i was in the cab going back to my buddy's apartment and that thing was like why why why why i'm like what is why women what i never i didn't know what weapon was i went to his computer that night and googled y-w-a-m pressed it fell on this uh website in kona hawaii i read it and i'm like all right i'll go do this it's in hawaii i totally could do this and i clicked and i applied now i applied to be trained to be a missionary three hours prior i was drunk in the club and i'm applying how many of you can say amen to the grace of god four months later i'm being trained in hawaii and i'm encountering the you know the lord jesus in a way that i never encountered him and i started saying lord you know what you just he just raptured my heart in such a way you know i i don't need a i don't even want to finish my degree i mean i don't i don't want to study i don't i don't need to have a big ministry just give me a book bag with some bibles a bike i'll just bike through the himalayas i'm happy like that for the rest of my life i'm good i'm good until after two years serving as a missionary i ended up in new delhi india living in a muslim slum and while i'm in this muslim slum i'm trying to witness to my muslim buddies and all my muslim bodies says hey we like you and they will say you're from brazil ronaldinho back in the day you say from brazil all they would say is romario ronaldo anywhere in the world and we would play soccer together and then finally i would come with the gospel and they said hey you stick with your jesus i stick with my muhammad in my allah and we can still be friends and i got so frustrated i would go home and i said lord i mean i know i know i could explain to them and i just said lord i am tired of having to argue somebody into your kingdom i'm tired and right then somebody gave me two books god chases by tommy tinney and evangelism by fire by ron harbanke and i started reading those things i'm like you know what how will they say no to jesus if they get healed how will they say no to jesus if the prophetic comes and unlocks the secrets of their hearts say god i need this and that put me on a journey just for a quest of the supernatural and that quest took me out to north carolina where i was serving as a youth pastor to spiritual my spiritual father dr kingsley fletcher and north carolina a ghanaian a man a gun a prophet from ghana and uh you know you guys know like spirit-filled african believers everything for them is go faster go pray i'm like sir i need to talk to you i'm going through some rich did you fast no go fast and then go pray i'm having some issues go fast and go pray everything was go fast and go pray so i mean for five years i got i was super skinny super skinny man and i mean he's like back in africa we go to the bush with a water bottle and we do not come back until god speaks where in america man i had the holy spirit school through that man and i remember that the lord took me through this thing that he started giving me this passion for kids that were going through the things that i used to go through i was actually living right between duke university unc chapel hill and nc state where we called the triangle in raleigh-durham area and i would just go out to franklin street in chapel hill and all these kids in the bars and i'd be like lord you know what i'm gonna i'm gonna do what i wish somebody had done to me and i just walk in these bars and be like lord give me a word of knowledge and we just go after that and people be looking at me like how do you know that about my grandma like can i pray for your right shoulder that's injured how do you know about that and people will be coming to christ weeping and i give friends to go out to the streets and just live the gospel like we're reading acts [Applause] remember one time they had like the spoken award thing i just kind of came in they're like you got something i'm like i got something i picked up the mic and start preaching the gospel they're like oh they're crying everybody was like backslidden they're coming to christ oh it was awesome and i said lord you've given me this vision called dunamis and we're going to reach university students with the dynamic power of the holy spirit and then i would go to my spiritual father and be like sir i'm ready to start dunamis he says noah you got to go fast and go pray for five years he would tell me go fast and go pray you're not ready go fast how big will the ministry be he asked me i said i don't know but i i think the lord has called me to do something big sir if the building is big the foundation is bigger go build your foundation lock yourself in the secret place i mean old school right and i'm thinking i'm looking at my friends that are traveling with these famous revivalists i'm like look at me i'm locked up in this prayer closet and they're doing it he tell me don't be anxious he'd be telling me what's yours is yours i don't know if you're anxious but it might be a rhema for you tonight what's yours is yours i remember now isn't god wonderful he says i want you to take over the church he says uh i'm leaving to africa i want you to take over the church he actually invested in me like a father should to a spiritual son i mean he he paid for my tuition in college i finished my degree my seminary and uh he's like he paid for the immigration lawyers i'm al almost a citizen and he says i want you to take over this and uh i said lord i'm gonna pray he says yeah you do that and i went and the holy spirit asked me this are you going after the kingdom dream or the american dream i said uh lord excuse me uh the kingdom dream and he asked me again are you going to for the kingdom dream or the american dream now how many of you know that when the holy spirit is asking you a question it's not that he's ignorant and he needs information from you right holy spirit asks questions to position us not to get information from us and i'm thinking well you know apparently if you're asking me for the third time if i'm going for the kingdom dream or the american dream lord i repent this is what the lord says tell them you're not taking over the church tell them that you're not going to become a citizen now tell them that you got to go to brazil and i said lord to brazil brazil has huge churches brazil has got a lot of christians what am i going to do in brazil and the lord says brazil has been experiencing spiritual awakening but is yet to experience social transformation because a true revival will culminate into a reformation and i remember it was hard but i mean i had to swallow that and uh you know it was just hard for all of us there was a lot of expectation and i had to say this is what the lord is telling me and uh finally made it back to brazil and we started going to the universities and doing the same thing sure we would just prayer walk pray in the spirit and just go after words of knowledge and see the prophetic open doors and then these kids would like be like oh man what is this how do you know about my life what is it i'm like that's a spiritual reading that you just got oh i like spiritual reading i'll come back next week you know it starts semantics it's changing what's this energies oh this energy is the energy of all energies called the holy spirit oh i like that energy and so kids were getting like touched by the holy spirit and and then by the third time that we were having a conversation like oh you're a christian you tricked me i'm like no i never tricked you you just never caught on to it but i mean this is real so we would start this uh you know this club and i'd be like this is called a dunamis pocket and then we would go to another university start that again another dunamis pocket and some of them would have you know 12 guys some of them were you would have 400 people and suddenly we started seeing there was like over 300 campuses and this thing is growing it's growing it's multiplying it's like wildfire and it's student-led we would just train the students and let them lose and they would actually live out acts on their university campuses you know one of my one of my heroes and faith is dr bill bright and he would say that if we conquer the campuses today we will win society tomorrow and you know i'm like you know let me tell you something mega churches do not disciple a nation let me say that again mega churches will never disciple a nation because if there would be negatives that disciple nations my country would have been discipled i i'm coming to you from a country of 210 million people think about this 210 million people and out of the 210 million people 65 million profess to be born again christians yet we're number one in pedophilia human trafficking corruption does that make sense think about just do the math do the math a young kid that's growing up in a majority christian nation with serious darkness outside the church will grow not in faith but in cynicism i'm telling people hey we're thinking that this anti-christian agenda in the media or in the government that's the problem i'm telling no no no no you know what the problem is are killed our children's ministry that's the problem they're like what do you mean because these kids are growing up and we're just giving them christian babysitting every sunday and suddenly when they come of age they'll start reasoning and when they have logical thinking they're thinking hey how come you dragged me every sunday to church telling me that that what you believe will change the world yet the world is jacked up and you guys are the majority [Applause] that's why if you read church history if you study revival you will see that true revivals always culminate in reformation and so my heart was burning for that and we're like we gotta go to the universities these will be the future brains that will lead this nation let's win these people and as we're doing this i remember walking into in one of my ministry trips to california i walked into this garage and met this guy ah one of my good friends dave gibbons a korean-american past man in south carolina says he got this this kid you got to meet he he reminds me he looks very different from you but i mean you guys are gonna click this guy called andy bird and i started talking it was like we knew each other from back then and little did i know that our mothers had that connection back in the 70s and then i said hey you got to come out and i want you to help me just train these students to keep doing this in their universities and then one time he came in and like you know if you come to brazil you've got to go to where the glory is and the glory is in the shuhas career have you heard of shohaskaria brazilian steakhouse that's where the glory is so i pick him up to from the airport i said like i'm going to take her to the glory land so we go to brazilian steakhouse and we're there in the brazilian steakhouse and he's he's a little discouraged i mean usually andy is a guy that's very alive you know very happy he was very discouraged that day and i said what's going on man he's like i'm very discouraged like what's up he says you know it was it was it's supposed to be something good but it's actually not all that good i'm like what there's this guy called lou engel i don't know if you heard of lou engel of the call he says uh lu angelo fell from god that he needs to transition the call into something called the send and that i am supposed to lead the sin so we're in the middle of this transition but we have been hidden on these legal uh obstacles and just you know it's just hard when you're transitioning ministries into something new and he's like i want to serve god but i mean i didn't expect that we would it would be this hard and i'm like well you know i said you know andy i just want to be a good friend i want to encourage you and i said i'm going to pray for you and we're going to raise up intercession for you and i thought the holy spirit said just do it now to god but we're eating steaks holy spirit said just do it now like we're going to do it now so give me your hand and we're in the middle of a restaurant and i got my team with me and everybody's like yeah yeah let's do it now so we get and i'm like are we going to do this let me for real like holy spirit says yeah for real so we just grabbed each other's hands inside a brazilian steakhouse and we go holy spirit and we start going suddenly holy spirit shows up like we were in church and suddenly it's like we sense the father the holy spirit we're getting drunk in the spirit holding the hands i'm like you know in the middle of this this thing that swirl and suddenly you realize you're in a public place and i thought to myself my god the waiters i mean and then i just kind of peeped open my eyes and i s you know how they go with those skewers of meat to your table in those brazilian steakhouse and this guy right next to me with this skewer of pecan he's like he's weeping under the anointing i'm looking across the restaurant like waiters are being touched by the holy spirit so after we kind of everybody wipes their tears you know and then we just kind of simmer down we're going to go eat a little bit more and his phone rings and his phone rings he's like oh this is weird the u.s number he gets up and he goes picks up the phone takes takes it outside talks for maybe five minutes comes back he's like you won't believe it it's happening his phone rang two more times in that lunch that we had in that steakhouse things started opening up opening up opening up opening up and then i said that's awesome and and he says i get it like what did you get he says i get what's happening i'm like what you're supposed to be in this like no no this thing is a a us thing this is an american thing you guys are believing for a revival in america you guys are americans and you're going to fight before revival in america that's that's awesome i'll just support you hey i gave up that whole american dream you know a few years ago i'm here on my new assignment i'm i got my hands full but i'll pray for you he said no no you need to be in i said andy it doesn't make sense you guys are praying and crying out for a new missions move in america i'm not in america bro and he says i don't know how it makes sense but it's somehow it just makes sense for you to come be a part and i heard the holy spirit that day say just say yes and i said yes i don't know what was happening i didn't know what i had said yes to to be quite honest i didn't know what i had to say yes to to the first cent event in orlando florida and when i get out as was anybody out in orlando anybody here was out in orlando okay when i get out to the stage early in the morning i start before the event began i started seeing a brazil jersey another brazil jersey i'm like man there's a lot of brazilians here brazil jersey suddenly we found out that we're in a stadium of close to 60 000 people we had close to 6 000 brazilians show up and if you were there something shifted in the atmosphere when they started worshiping in portuguese and it was so powerful that day and we saw so many kids say yes to to live their lives in a missional lifestyle say yes to go to the nation say yes to bible engagement say yes to adoption and at the end of the day you know i remember just looking next to me one of our co-leaders is this guy called todd white and he looked to me he said yo brazilians are crazy man i say yeah he's like you know the next one's got to go to brazil i'm like oh you know i don't know i'm thinking man that's a lot of work you know i've never done a stadium event in my life so that's a lot of work and we gather around the next morning and right in our bunkies office and we get together and we're praying and all of them look at me and say hey tail well you say yes to taking the scent to brazil same voice that spoke to me in that brazilian steakhouse said just say yes oh my god i've never put a big event like that in my life or conferences aren't that big you know i mean it's like and he said just say yes and i said yes and immediately my mind started going to what's the smallest stadium in my city and there was this stadium that was 50 000 people brand new stadium state of the art but 50 000 people and i said hey i got the right stadium guys it's this brand new stadium state-of-the-art 50 000 people i feel that maybe if we work hard a full year of work we could maybe pack out half of it and they said okay well you know we pray and you see whatever god tells you we're we're following your lead on this one like okay and right the day before i signed the contract i was on the phone with andy and andy said all right man if you feel that's the stadium go for it but uh and he paused and he says hey tell i've never known you to be a man that doesn't take a step of faith and right there was the holy spirit i said okay okay okay well i said hey hold on the contract for a while let me think about it and he said what about that big stadium close to where you live like the big one where all the big bands go play when they're on world tours like you two and beyonce oh the one close to my house 80 000 people you know andy i would rather go to the smaller one this is like a more modern one it's uh and i say you know what i'm going to pray the holy spirit says why don't you take a step of faith so we signed the contract to the big one and the day to open up registration had come i i was actually speaking at a church in alabama and i was on the phone with my team back in in sao paulo brazil and i'm like guys are we ready it's going to open up one instagram post boom we open up give it one hour the guy that runs the ministry the chief operations calls me and says tell you you won't believe what's happening man something is happening we actually we sold ten thousand already in one hour like ten thousand i said well you know i think there's a mistake he's like yeah yeah i think so too let's just wait let's just wait two hours he picks up the phone calls me hey we got twenty thousand now i said yeah definitely a mistake now you better call these people we're paying for this technology platform for ticketing and i mean these guys better get their act together it's like yeah i called them already it's everything normal they said so no no double check it i will he calls me an hour later is like 35 000 we double checked it everything is okay we triple check it everything is okay in six hours we sold out the stadium now after we sold out the stadium in six hours we get a call from the management of the stadium the people that own it sao paulo football club they call us up and they say hey do you guys realize what you did well what do we do you sold out the stadium in six hours beating the record of selling out in the stadium like who had the record seven hours was the record and it was you two and coldplay and you guys beat them i said could it be that we're living days where the great commission is beating the biggest rock bands of the world [Applause] so i said i know i called i called anyone like what do we do man this is this is crazy he says i'm in egypt here and i'm having a meeting with uh some of these missionary leaders and and there's uh the founders of wyoming older couple lauren and darlene cunningham in their 80s he says i'm going to ask them yeah yeah you better ask some wise people lien cunningham the founder the co-founder of wyman said i've been in prayer and this is what the lord told me tell tale that what we have here is that story of the bible where the prophet is telling the widow bring the vessels and as long as there's vessels the oil won't stop pouring into the vessels and i said uh could it be that the vessels are stadiums and we knew it go for the second stadium so we went for that 50 000 stadium that sold out in four days we knew we had to go for another one went for the one in the capital that also when 30 000 people showed up to that one and we had on february 8 2020 an event of 150 000 young people average age 24 years old simultaneous in three stadiums just saying lord here am i send me here am i send me i want to be used missionally i'm going to show you this quick recap video and then i'll continue and get on the ward here with you foreign to carry the baton [Applause] the nations of the earth [Music] [Applause] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Applause] yeah praise god that day we had 21 000 young people commit to say we want to be trained to go to the nations as missionaries and we had over 60 000 saying i will be committed to in one year read the bible from cover to cover we had people saying i will be engaged in the cause of the marginalized children and do something about that either adopt or foster kids and i'm saying this to you because i believe that the lord has allowed this to happen in this nation to spark holy jealousy in other nations and i think that god is going to do something in kansas city when we are looking at kc for may of this year and then right after that to oslo in norway this is what i believe when i came into the sin i said guys i believe that the next wave of missions movement does not have the face of the previous wave of missions movement i believe it's going to come from the nations and into the nations and it's time for us to understand that i know we here if we trace our heritage back we'll go to various places in the world but i'll speak for myself as somebody coming from the global south that i am a fruit of american missionaries that planted seeds in my nation but you know it's one thing for you to see yourself as a mission field and after a while there comes a time where you have to see yourself as a mission send in field and i believe right now that the lord is is setting up the nations to become not only mission fields but also mission sending fields and i believe also that america has a legacy in this it's sown in so much to different nations and i believe also that the lord is bringing other people that were fruit of american mission initiatives to be missionaries here as well and so that's why i am engaged in this cause because i believe we're living a different era of missions and you are a part of this so let me just show you this quick video of kansas city and then i want to just get into the word i told you i was going to get in the word but i forgot about this one so what started as a gathering has become a movement four stadiums tens of thousands of believers in person millions online uniting for jesus to declare a war on an action to go to everyone everywhere whether our neighbors or the nations and we're just getting started we can't stop until every believer has been activated to the missional calling until all have heard the sound of god [Music] [Music] there are moments in your life history where everything changes this moment december 2011 shifted my life forever i was here in kansas city and these yum guys came into this very room right where i'm sitting right now and they said there's coming a shift to the call [Music] lou's been filling stadiums for over a decade with prayer and fasting but the word was about that transitioning to a message of the great commission missions mobilization evangelism signs wonders and miracles and that day kicked something off that culminated on february 23rd at the send in orlando florida today we a shift into a new jesus movement i believe that a bold and fearless generation is coming forth you'll carry it back to your cities and to your nations we're not going to let it go for another generation do it in our time do it in our day we stood there in awe as 58 000 people worshiping together and declaring that we are in a new era of missions and evangelism declaring a war on inaction and that we would do whatever it costs to see the lost encounter jesus and his love whether it was our neighbors or the nations and we walked away from orlando with this conviction that this was not the culmination in fact this was just the beginning as we set our eyes on kansas city we realized that it is the convergence of three major storylines 200 000 missionaries launching to the nations of the earth 80 million salvations in america a jesus movement and a million intercessors who would pray for a global harvest and all of it happening in the very city where the original word for the sand was birthed could we be in something that's way beyond all that we could think or imagine i'm looking at this thing that is we're coming into kansas city and i'm daring to believe a flashpoint where literally the prayer movement and the missions movement would be connected together right into this stadium everybody is called to do the work of missions and everybody's called to do a little bit of prayer and the lord has put the missions movement and the prayer movement together he wants our partnership and prayer to go hand in hand with the release of greater power of the spirit in missions and outreach and ministry and one of the goals to descend is to raise up 200 000 missionaries that would go to the ends of the earth but it's also to raise up a million intercessors to pray for the missionaries that are going because the two must go together so we are calling for 70 000 to gather from kansas city every corner of america and from the nations of the earth to arrowhead stadium the loudest stadium in the world to make the sound of ghosts so loud that a whole generation could hear it and would respond first with their voices and with their entire lives that's right so i want to read with you uh matthew chapter 4 if you could just open that with me you know you saw the video lou was talking about this generation of john the baptist and what sparks in me is that john john the baptist came preaching repentance and i believe that repentance is needed to change the way that we see things and when you look at the word repentance in in the original text it's metanoia in greek which means the renewal of your mind and really i i look at what we're experiencing today not only as uh the usa as a nation but i would say the west and uh you know i am reminded that jesus when he came here on this earth he publicly never spoke about the gospel of salvation if you think about it he was talking about a different gospel in matthew 4 if you if you can't just just follow with me i'm just going to go real quick i know time is short but if you could just bear with me matthew 4 17 says that from that time jesus began to preach and to say repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand you know he's talking about the gospel of the kingdom in matthew 4 verse 23 he says that jesus went about all galilee teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom and he healed all kinds of diseases and sicknesses among the people if you go to matthew 9 real quick just go with me there matthew 9 verse 35 it says that jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom that was the gospel that jesus preached he did not preach the gospel of salvation now i'm not saying that salvation is not biblical that's not what i'm saying all i'm saying is that his center message was a kingdom has come look at this verse in matthew 10 verse 7 and as you go this is jesus telling his disciples you go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand what he's saying is the kingdom of god has come he says heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the dead cast out demons freely you have received freely give i'll give you another one in in luke chapter 10 verse 9 if you can get to luke 10 verse 9 says here that heal the sick there jesus is telling his disciples and say to them the kingdom of god has come near to you he's saying hey tell them present them show them the kingdom of god has come now this is an interesting statement because if you look at what jesus did in his public ministry while on earth you could sum up you read matthew mark luke and john you'll sum up his public ministry and four actions jesus primarily did four actions in his public ministry on earth these four actions are he taught the kingdom he preached the kingdom he healed the sick and he cast out demons i mean if you just do your own study you'll go there and just see his actions and take notes you will sum it up into four things he taught the kingdom he preached the kingdom he cast out demons and he healed the sick i remember one time in seminary i asked my professor what's the difference between you teaching and preaching and he says well when you teach something you explain that something you know jesus would teach about the kingdom and explain it the kingdom of god is like a mustard seed the kingdom of god is like a little bit of leaven that you put in a dough the kingdom of god god is like a man that found a pearl of great price he would just go on and on about the kingdom of god is like this the kingdom of god is like that the kingdom of god functions like this and at times he would also preach the kingdom and he would declare it the difference between teaching and preaching is when you teach you explain but when you preach you proclaim and something is happening in the atmosphere because your words are triggers that are in the physical realm that trigger something in the spiritual realm that's why you got to speak it out you are a product of what you speak speak in speak out the reality you want to live and so jesus will say the kingdom of god is here i'm teaching you about the the kingdom and now i will proclaim the kingdom the kingdom of god is here and they will say where is the kingdom and he says sick man come here he would heal this is the kingdom says demon-possessed man told him that is the kingdom and he would just manifest physically a spiritual kingdom on earth now think about this it's a loaded statement but if you go to mark chapter one open with me real quick mark chapter 1 verse 14 and 15 you will find the summary of jesus's message the summary of the kingdom message is in mark 1 verse 14 it says here now after john the baptist the forerunner that preached repentance see there there was a generation that was saying yeah we're the john the baptist generation and i i totally get it but see this is the thing when you're the john the baptist generation there has to be something that it changes the way you see things and john the baptist was trying to get people to change the way they saw things when he was put in prison it was time for jesus to come and he comes to galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom now what did john the baptist preach repent for the kingdoms at hand repent for the kingdoms at hand hey you better repent you better change the way you think the way you see things because if you don't change the way you think or see things the kingdom will be in front of you won't even notice it have you ever been in a meeting have you ever been in a i don't know a conference where the holy spirit shows up and you know he's there and you're looking next to you and somebody's on social media like can't you realize what see this is the thing when we talk about repentance we usually associate it with sin i repent because i've sinned let me say this you repent once to come into salvation i was going one direction i do a 180 degree now i'm going to another direction you do that in your life you're into you're repenting into salvation but you you need to have a lifestyle of repentance every day to see the kingdom of god at hand in your life does that make sense you repent wants to come into the kingdom but you repent every day to live out the kingdom in your day-to-day and this is what jesus says here in verse 15. now this is the most important verse that i'll share with you tonight mark 1 15. he says the time is fulfilled there are four pillars to the message of the kingdom for taking notes take this note there are four pillars to the message of the kingdom the first pillar is the time is fulfilled why is that important because if it is fulfilled it has to been prior promised there is no fulfillment if there isn't before a promise what is jesus saying i am the fulfillment of the prophets would isaiah prophesied i am the fulfillment incarnate what jeremiah prophesied i am the fulfillment incarnate well king david prophesied look at me i'm the fulfillment and that is very offensive to the pharisees because they spent their lives studying who was the messiah where is the messiah and they had this idea who the messiah would be but hey they didn't listen to john the baptist he was actually trying to warn them you better change the way you're expecting things that's why i look at some of my american friends i'm thinking you better change the way you're expecting revival in america it's not it's going to come but ain't going to come the way you think is going to come it's not going to look like you think it's going to look does that make sense i really believe that god's promises are true he's a god that does not lie what he said he's going to do he will do but i'll tell you the stage will be in america but people standing on the stage will be different you better be ready for the new and i could go on to that but i mean i'll just i'll just say this i really believe that a country that is inviting so many immigrants will have a church that looks different than what it looked in the 70s i'll just leave it at that and he's saying repent sorry i went first statement time is fulfilled second statement the kingdom of god is here third statement repent fourth statement belief now check this out i am the fulfillment jesus says second thing he says the kingdom of god is here now they're saying where is the kingdom because see when he says i am the fulfillment that is a messianic affirmation automatically saying here the messiah so if you are the messiah in their mindset a messiah comes militarily where's your army because all i see is roman empire with their foot on our throat they're oppressing us where is your army i see centurions if you're the messiah where are you where's your soldiers they said no no the kingdom's here where where where bring the sick he's trying to explain to them hey the kingdom is not of this world but it's here it's a reality you don't see it like you see you know a car down the street a lamp post on the street but but it's here and he said you know why you're having a crisis because you haven't repented and when you repent you will believe and when you believe you get to be part of the kingdom now why is this important because i believe that the western church and we're part of the western church i think that a lot of times we've mistaken our destination with our mission think about this we have we have mistaken our destination with our mission we are so caught up in preaching the gospel of the salvation that's it so you witness to your cousin your witness to your colleague and finally they come to church and you're like hey pastor you better make that altar call good because i finally got her to come here and suddenly he preaches that message has the altar call and you're like get up there get up there and you see her walk down the aisle and she kneels and says the prayer and you're like when actually no the game is just beginning now it's not a w we're just beginning the game see this is the thing when you all you say is gospel of salvation you get the altar filled up and i'm telling you this is what happened in my nation we'll get the altar filled up bunch of salvations bunch find salvations and they get saved they encounter jesus because the lord is true if you confess with your mouth you believe in your heart you will be saved they get saved and they look pastor what now well now you will come back next sunday and you will sit there and uh don't forget your tithes and offerings get plugged in a small group uh now uh we're just gonna wait till jesus comes back so don't don't expect something different when all you preach is salvation and one day we'll get to heaven one day we'll get to heaven and you have people that are on a you know a timer when is jesus coming back and everything around us looks like hell i could care less because i'm getting out of here soon when is jesus coming back does that make sense yes sir now when you understand that your destination is heaven and that's not your mission your mission is not to get to heaven heaven is your destination your mission is to bring heaven to earth that is the gospel of the kingdom see but all we think about is i want to see my church grow i want to see i i want to see my ministry blow up let me tell you i come from a nation with big churches i have a church that when i talk to people here they say oh it's a big church i said actually in my nation our church is not a big big church they're like super impressed i'm like don't be impressed it's not discipline a nation what's the end goal what's the end goal the end goal is matthew 28 guys come on great commission go therefore and make disciples of all nations that's the end goal he's not telling you to make a big church go there and make a mega church and make a ministry does that make sense then we wonder why the next generation is like you know what and i'm believing that god is is doing something fresh for people that are really understanding the gospel of salvation of the gospel of the kingdom and also the gospel gospel of salvation and its due due position as the doorway into the kingdom because you know satan's strategy is he knows that we're religious folk come on guys we're religious folk he's not gonna hey he's not gonna whisper in your ear and actually think that you're gonna go there and rob the bank hey go rob the bank hey you're you're you're a church going tight given small group participant hey here's some coke go snort it that's not going to tempt you come on here's a knife go stab an old lady that doesn't work so what do you say hey just be content and being saved you don't need you don't need to disciple your block all you got to do is tell them to go to church you don't need to think about discipline the nation all you got to do is make sure that you know you you grow your church multiply another service open another campus i am not against that by the way all i'm saying that's not the end that's a means to an end and so what the lord is telling our generation as we're saying lord what's next see this is the thing john three open up with me real quick i'll tell you jesus never publicly spoke told people go get born again but that's what we do every sunday in church and i'm not against altar calls but understand what i'm trying to say he never publicly said you guys need to get born again the only time that jesus talks about being born again is in john chapter 3 verse 1 when old nicodemus goes and visits him in the middle of the night and this man verse 2 john 3 2 says that this man came to jesus by night and said to him rabbi we know that you are a teacher coming from god for no one can do these signs say with me science see he was doing signs out in the streets i've seen the signs out in the street i've seen the signs of the kingdom in the school district i've seen the signs of the kingdom in the city hall i've seen the signs of the kingdom in hollywood i've seen the signs of the kingdom in wall street i've seen the signs of the kingdom in the marketplace i've seen the signs of the kingdom in your neighborhood he says i know that no one can do these signs that you do unless god is with him and jesus answered and said to him most assuredly i say to you unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of god now check this out he never asked hey can i get in the kingdom you know why because he didn't have the language for that all he said is i see the signs those signs are amazing i see the supernatural i i see i see this new world order coming it's kind of like heaven i see like glimpse of heaven downtown what's that and somebody says hey you know that's the kingdom you want to take part in joy you want to take part in justice you want to take part in peace you want true joy yeah yeah what is that that's the kingdom i want that well to be part of the kingdom you've got to be born again what he's saying is salvation is just the beginning because we're preaching the full gospel we're talking about the kingdom we're talking about discipline nations we're talking about what jesus talked about in matthew 16 when he explained to us what the church was when simon bar jonah has that revelation that you are the christ and verse 18 of matthew 16 matthew 16 18 jesus says i say to you that you are petros peter and on this rock i will build my ecclesia i will build my church now check this out whose church is it who's going to build it again we get too worried about something that's not even ours we start thinking something that's not not even ours is ours and we take it personal when people leave church it's not even yours he says hey the church is mine i will build so petros on this rock that you have as the truth of the revelation i jesus will build my ecclesia he didn't say i'm going to build my synagogue he didn't say i'm going to build my temple he didn't say i'm going to build my bible study my seminary he says my ecclesia which was a political term and it was nothing but a cultural agency that the romans had that would reflect roman culture in the new territory so jesus hijacks this roman concept and says i will have my own ecclesia on this earth you are kingdom ambassadors you are part of the kingdom agency i will build what you would think well now that you have the church now that you have a job description to do with the church what do i have left jesus what do i get to do and jesus answers he says in verse 19 and i will give you now see he says the church is mine but i'm going to give you something i will give you say with me peace i will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven say with me keys keys mean influence keys mean axes keys mean authority say with me i have kingdom authority say with me i have kingdom influence you believe that jesus is saying hey the church is mine but you get the keys jesus do i get the keys to the kingdom nope you get the keys of the kingdom why is that important because you don't need keys to get into the kingdom you get keys once you're in the kingdom how do i get in the kingdom jesus says i am the door john 10 remember that john 10 verse 9 says i am the door if anyone enters by me he will be saved say with me salvation this is it's really interesting it says and i will go in and out and find pastor the thief does not come except to steal and to kill to destroy but i have come that they have may have life in that they may have life in abundance so check this out see we're trying to build our lives and dedicate our lives around a door when jesus is saying hey that's just the beginning i am the door you know so we we come and gather every sunday i am a local church pastor myself and i said lord i don't want my church being a place where we gather every sunday to have a party in the door whoo salvation salvation say hey i i i laid my life more than just for you to have life at the door i laid my life down so that you would have life at the door but get in the elevator go to the penthouse and have it abundantly because that's the kingdom up there and once you get into the penthouse you will see holy spirit with keys hey welcome to the kingdom i got you some keys he's giving you keys and he's asking why is it that you're not using your keys because you've been too busy building something that's not even yours don't worry i'll take care of the church you just got to go out there american church new jersey church you just got to get out there and use the keys to bind crime to lose justice to bite ignorance to lose revelation come on now to bind lies loose reconciliation come on guys i'll build the church doesn't mean that you don't have to come to church but all i'm saying is when we come to church sunday morning what is this this is nothing but a huddle nothing but a huddle in the locker room because true ministry happens monday through friday so when we come here the lord appoints the pastors the lord appoints the apostles the teachers the lord appoints the prophets the evangelists to come here and open up your constitution to make sure that you know what is your right as a kingdom citizen to make sure that you know the authority you have as a kingdom citizen because guess what monday morning you got to get out there and start binding stuff and loosen stuff but you know what the devil wants you to just keep thinking church the devil just see he does he says since i can't make you go rob a bank let's just make sure that you always talk about just salvation and i i understood that because i remember one time i was leaving a conference we had a dunamis conference man we had a crazy fire tunnel going on for a long long long for hours people like he's getting whacked by the holy spirit it was one of those holy revival mess he had people rolling around shaking under power i mean it was fun people stage diving the band is still playing i mean it the service started at seven it was one a.m my wife with her newborn looked at me she says i love this but i gotta go i gotta get out of here and i said okay baby i'll walk you to the car so i go backstage go with her to the to the parking lot behind the church and and in the meantime i'm telling the the worship lady just make sure the fire's still burning do whatever you want i mean it was just i mean it's one of those meetings that nothing you do will quench the holy spirit i mean it's just out of control you know you've had one of those before it's totally out of control people are getting healed sovereignly people are getting delivered you know i mean it's awesome and i'm out there helping her with our newborn son and i'm putting him in a baby seat and i'm telling her giving her a hug and i'd be like you know just text me when you get home and i'm putting the seat belt on my baby and then i give her a kiss and i shut the door and when i shut the door the holy spirit says did you see the door i'm like yeah and the holy spirit says you got revival inside and you got a bulletproof door in your car i drive an armored car not because i'm the president not because i'm famous i drive an armored car because i live in sao paulo city it's actually quite common because you never know when there's a shooting out there and i've had most of my church be part of stick-ups and shootings the holy spirit says until you can let your wife go safely to your home you haven't lived reformation you have revival in church but you have hell outside church does that make sense i'm just taken by the examples of revival history when i read about the welsh revival did you know that the welsh revival was so powerful that they had to fire the police department they didn't have a job the welsh revival was so powerful the business hours changed to accommodate revival services every night the rails revival was so powerful that the horses were workers would work on didn't understand the commands because they only understood cuss words and the lord sanctified the people to the extent that they wanted cuss anymore and the horses want to move it's all registered in the revival books the azusa street revival was so powerful that in 1906 they would say the only place where you'll find blacks and whites and mexican immigrants and chinese together is in the revival street revival meetings they were living things that america didn't get to live 80 90 years later what am i saying when we talk about revival i gotta i believe in all that kind of stuff i love it whatever but ain't no i'm coming from a place that i say hey you guys you guys are talking about reformation listen it's very cute for you to talk about revolving reformation i'm in an urgent state because i got a six year old kid i got a six-year-old kid that in a matter of 12 years he's gonna start thinking he's gonna start putting two and two together and he's gonna ask me hey dad you traveled the world telling people about jesus you made me go to sunday school i know you're meeting with all those politicians because you'd say we got to get out there and spread the light and shine and all these business people and artists or whatever he's going to grow up in that environment he's grown up in that already he said but hey why is it that the church with uh 80 million people that's the statistics for 2030 in brazil 80 million born-again christians why is it that the church with 80 million born-again christians we we didn't do away with corruption we didn't do away with pedophilia we didn't away with domestic violence what do we do about human trafficking what do we do about racism i'm telling you people think oh check out we've got to watch out the media you got to watch out the liberal agenda let me say you better watch out in your kid's ministry because if you're not preaching the full gospel it'll come at you back in a few years it's not gonna come from there it's gonna come from within your house when you sit one time to go and grab a meal and your kids asking hey let me ask you some questions dad let me ask you some questions mom explain something to me i'm saying we got we're on a time clock to grasp the full council of god and what i'm preaching to you is not something that hasn't been done you read church history you will see it happen in the past it happened in in in times past revivals and we go up and down and up and down but you know what i really feel we're poised for a revival that will culminate in church in in a church that will transform society and i want to invite you to live this missional lifestyle can you say amen to that i'll finish with this isaiah 60 says rise up and shine for your light has come say with me the light has come upon me and the glory of the lord is coming upon me because the darkness have covered the earth and deep darkness the people now that verse 2 isaiah 62. doesn't that describe society today darkness and deep darkness let me tell you there is no better place for light to shine and in darkness it's time for us to arise and it says here in verse 3 of isaiah 60 last verse and i'll finish up wherein and the nations will come to your light and the kings to the shining that is born in you see this is the thing about it i really believe that as we say lord i want to just challenge you with something ask for nations ask for nations he's got resources for nations ask pray a prayer that is worthy of the size of your god ask for nations say god i know it's dark out there but hey i'm i'm in this for the discipline of nations and when we talk about discipline of nations it may not be just in one generation i really believe we are a generation of abraham isaac and jacob for the reason that he's testing us are you willing to sow something that your kids will reap or your kids or the kids will reap see the problem is we want to be we want everything immediately i want a soul and i want to reap because i want to have something big that's my own and he says forget about it i'll use something else he's going to use people that are going to think multi-generationally are you willing to fight for something that you're not going to be here on earth to see the breakthrough if we read church history we see there's many times when people have thought it's the end of the world it's the end of the world and we lock ourselves and have this monastic mentality then we don't understand why there's so much darkness outside i told people in brazil you want to see a true revival go study you want to see a true revival go work go make your money go buy land you want to see true revival get married have a family be the best dad be the best mom i believe that that's it and i and i'm all about the goosebumps and the feelings and the electricity but i really believe that revival that's going to culminate in a reformation is going to be multi-generational and maybe you're thinking hey you know i wish i was younger to do this or oh i'm too young to do this i'm here to tell you it's going to be multi-generational i'm living today i'm living today things that my grandfather sold one time the lord said you know i want you to trace back your lineage like what lineage you're spiritual i got my faith from my mother my mother got her faith from my grandfather my father my grandfather got saved in a public preaching in tokyo downtown tokyo when a british missionary was standing on a box preaching the gospel and it was the first time he heard it that british missionary was discipled by a man called william brookston out of england that william buxton came out of the keswick convention the kids with conviction came out of this move that traces all the way back to john wesley if you start thinking about it it's generation after generation after generation after generation he's just asking will you make sure that on your watch you live missionary can you stand up i want to pray with you i appreciate you standing with me here for so long or wherever you are right now just can you just close your eyes open your hand if you if you actually want to come and just find a place to kneel or if you want to stay where you're at or if you want to just find a place to lie down in the presence i just want to just declare some things over you i'm going to trust holy spirit is is speaking to you already lord is seeking those that are saying yes to a commission of discipling nations and maybe you are called to the educational field and maybe you are called to the sphere of politics maybe you are called to the sphere of family maybe you are called this church maybe you are called to the 1040 window and preach the gospel in bangladesh or india or maybe you're called to be a policeman maybe you're called to make movies maybe you're called to be a writer maybe you're called to be a youtuber i don't know what it is the lord's saying will you live missionally will you pray for nations will you believe in a revival that will culminate in reformation are you willing to sow into something that maybe only your kids will reap will you give up a monastic mentality of just being locked up within the four walls of the church saying hey jesus come not because you really want him to come but because you're afraid of the darkness out there will you understand and say god i want to i want the full gospel i want to understand the power that resides in me holy spirit i'm here i'm willing to make sure that on my watch i'm gonna live this missionary so wherever if you pray in the spirit just can we just take some 30 40 seconds just pray in from you can build your home on my worship to fire and win come and do it again come rest on us they were calling the presents in here i loved it oh jesus and then as he began to give his testimony of how his ministry began it just was so empowering and then the presence was just mounting mounting mounting mounting mounting i had to cry again you know he said something he said it's not that i wanted to sin i was just bored bored and and you know what that's unfortunately the story of so many believers i work with youth and it's the story of so many youth they're bored what's happening in the world and what they're hearing in church or they feel like church is boring because we're not living out the church like they were in acts we're not seeing uh people healed or demons cast out or you know is your shoulder hurting the lord just told me that you know let me pray we're not seeing that right but you know he just moved us to be less comfortable and more missionally minded to i just tell me how you're feeling i was physically uncomfortable and i was just like oh my goodness oh and even as a young person i remember being in church thinking this doesn't relate to me but now it's like we got to put that in them yes that no no your generation is going to be doing this you're going to be touching people's shoulders like you're healed so please please pray pray all the time please answer the call please get in your word heavy if you felt a pull a tug to join this ministry please do so immediately yeah immediately this is life-changing things that are happening in this service in this church in this nation in this nation you know and i'm so excited he kept talking about revival and i'm just so excited for what's to come and i really pray that as we've heard this that we would go out and share that we ourselves would burn for revival and we would go out and share that fire for revival you know revival is is when you reawaken dead things or or things that are are sleeping and you know for a lot of comfortable christians we're sleeping we're not we're not moving how god wants us to move we're not comfortable we're not you know yeah we're not pushing and so i pray for revival on those uncomfortable christians yes and i pray that those who are lost would be saved and i pray that we would have the burden the fire to be able to do so to be the hands and feet i'm ready i am ready i felt that thing i'm ready i'm ready i was like lord i'm ready yes you have my yes you know they say that there's an eternal significance attached here yes that means that your yes will last for generations and so we are no so when you say no to god that lasts for generations in a negative way but when you say yes that much more will be impacted generations generation the generations are attached to you and are attached to you oh please please please please please know that please remember all these things please go back and revisit the word everything he was
