the connection here at abundant life as a family when we come in person and i just this past weekend the 30th anniversary i just saw so many people reconnecting and connecting and so you being a part of our family here and we add new members and stuff connect with your new connect with your family this is why we do it this is why i'm excited i'm i'm so excited about what god is doing um with our a church family yes because when we were when we were in a the other location people were coming in and they were they were like welcoming us and stuff and so it really was an exciting time and um uh we as you do it you show remembrance of what jesus christ did for us the ultimate sacrifice he gave up his life so that we could be saved to wash away our sins to heal us the bible says that he he uh he sacrificed his life for the removal of our sins yes but it also says by his stripes the stripes when they beat him we are healed by his stripes we are healed so i'm claiming the healing for my throat his blood that gives me strength from day to day it will now [Music] there you go i love it no that sounds good that's only good yes it's not ready yet it will never lose its power oh my god the the blood of jesus and just as pastor angel said as often as you do this as often as you take take a piece of bread at home because sometimes during the week i need a little extra yes like i need to commune with him i need like a uh um a symbolic gesture yes in relation to my uh commitment to christ because it's a bible reading yeah to recommit reconnect bible reading in our praying is how we connect with god in the spirit but sometimes we need to have just a physical demonstration of what it is so we grab a cracker a cracker some juice some tea some juice some people use real wine oh no not i you don't use rewind for the community never never had wine wine but that was fresh wine fresh crushed oh fresh crushed oh that's different that's not fermented no that's not fermented oh sunday it's um you know not just communion sunday it's also a new month yes here we are yes happy birthday to all the october babies if it's your birthday typing please let us know yeah so listen um new month new season we just came out of summer now we're in fall so october represents so much yes i mean there's so much going on their birthdays and then we have the beginning of some celebrations right that are going to start happening like thanksgiving and like this is when we enter into this season do you do pumpkin picking never i like sweet potatoes no i like sweet i like sweet potatoes too but the kids like to go apple oh my kids are grown you still have babies i still have little children free you have grandchildren though you have children grandchildren that's their parents job okay so we're gonna spoil that help pastor angel i i went on a hayride though one year oh yes okay last year i went to the farm and rolled down the slide with my fans that's fun i wish i could show you but this is the season where all things some things become new and some things are dying off like flowers are dying and things of that nature but we need that right some things in our lives we need to die off so that god can create something new right so this is the season where the leaves are falling off and they're covering the ground then you know the leaves when they cover the ground they protect the grass i did not know that that's what helps keep your grass are you a farmer i'm not a farmer no no i just say that do we have anything else like that also the third is the last quarter of the year the fourth quarter yes of the year right so if you didn't get to do what you wanted to do all this whole year there's still time october november december start something new start something fresh right you know make a transition if you said you were going to go to school sign up for the spring semester semester if you said you wanted a new job get your resume together yeah start looking yes yes you said you want to lose weight you know start eating right you can't complain that it's too hot outside to walk because the weather is is cooler now yeah you can walk you can walk up and down your stairs absolutely you can do chair exercises i'm going to start with that you're going to chair exercises okay yes is there a bible story that you can share regarding transition quickly i mean like noah like noah and genesis how noah had to prepare for transition yes so they he had to prepare his family yes and for something that never happened before when you told him he was praised they did they thought he was for something that never happened so how do you prepare for something that never happened wow trust god listen for the voice of god you sit we pray we ask god and we petition god but then sit in your prayers sometimes yes yes just listen to him let him speak to you wow hear his voice yeah so let me say a quick prayer today so father we thank you for the transitions that will take place we are so grateful and thankful for what you brought us 30 years along the way we are grateful for our family on a church who are some are transitioning back into the church and some are just staying online but we thank you so god we thank you today for this service yes anoint us today in jesus name jesus amen we love you guys we'll see you at during the offering will forgive us of our sins god anything we may have committed that is against you forgive us anything that we did not do that we should have done forgive us god because we want to come before you clean we want to come before you worthy we want to come before you able to receive from you and so this morning on this first sunday morning in october on the day that is set aside to partake in your holy communion we come to you with clean hands we come to you with open hearts we come to you with glad spirits we come to you allowing you god to take control in our lives and so right now in the name of jesus god we seek you this day god and oh god like we said earlier this is the day that we're going to take communion and so we thank you for sending jesus we thank you for sending jesus to the generations god so that he may live among us so that he died for us god and so we thank you for that god we thank you that he took every sin we thank you that he took every burden we thank you that he took every pain we thank you that he took every disease so right now in the name of jesus god whatever is bothering us in our bodies physically we seek your healing god we ask right now god that you're removing god we come against cancer we come against dementia we come against alzheimer's we come against high blood pressure this day god for we understand we know the power of your blood it worked back then and it works still today we understand that the blood still works so as we partake in your holy communion of the body and the blood let us recognize in our mind that the blood still works we thank you for your blood seek your healing power [Music] in your blood let your blood wash away every disease every fear every hurt every harm we will rejoice this day this day we're pray for your back father in the name of jesus put if you can put your hands not uh not just on your back but where your your liver is around and on the sides you know how you be sassy sometime you put your hands on your hips but just above your hips if you can put both hands well you got your cups so take one hand and put it on your side put it father in the name of the lord jesus you're speaking right now to the hearts and the bodies of your people and right now i come against the pain that is in the back lower backs that have affected the walking i come against the stiffness i come against the anxiety and the stress that has tried to lodge itself in the back i break that power in the name of jesus say to the lord rebuke you the blood of jesus is against you loose the people of god everywhere and let them go free in the name of jesus in the name of jesus right there where you are just begin to put your legs up and down just stretch it in the name of jesus hallelujah yeah of the righteous of the people of god we have declared that this is the meal that heals us and we thank you for divine supernatural healing right now this is your body that was broken for us he said [Music] i want to talk about breaking some boxes because this is important because sometimes we let our emotions take us away from god showing us what needs to be changed in us i'm going to talk about in just a few moments how you need to be clear on what god is doing and not you gifts and callings comes without repentance i know that's what the bible says i also believe that god is speaking to this house again we got to cleanse our ways with our gifts with our callings with our anointings we gotta cleanse our ways [Music] and you got to give jesus your all it ain't going to work no other way in this season in this moment you got to give him your all sing a song while in the church is your all on the altar of sacrifice god is calling us i'm going to talk about it in a minute and give you some scripture he's calling us to make a commitment to him we got to get committed to him [Music] we make these commitments to our gifts we make these commitments to our callings and we forget to make the commitment to him the lord jesus christ because there is no other way for the full manifestation of what god's going to do and let me just be clear the full manifestation of what god's going to do is not just making us feel good in church [Applause] you gotta you you got to stop playing these church games and get out into the highways and the byways bring some sinners in get folk healed out there because that's where they need the healing now i was attempting to bring clarity on the two things that i shared that you shared with somebody blessings and glory within the past past 24 hours i'm leading to something i was married and i we had to do a wedding yesterday and i had to drive an hour and a half to the wedding and perform the wedding my best friend's daughter got married and went to the wedding when i walked in there were people mulling around at this castle and one man saw me and i i remembered his face he looked very familiar and he spoke to me in passing bishop how are you good to see and then he came back around and he got my attention and he walked up to me and he shook my hand this time and put a seat in my hand i took the seat i put it in my bucket wait until he walked away then i looked at it put it back in my pocket after the ceremony we were getting ready to leave and another preacher saw us while we were leaving and it was so interesting that we were getting ready to walk out the door and he turned to me and he said and he grabbed his wallet opened up his wallet and took out a seed and he said here here here you're here i said that was the first time i got two in one day got to church this morning just mulling around and sometimes you got to let the spirit really lead you into certain areas where there's going to be a blessing and one of the precious members just came up to me and put another seed in my hand i put it in my pocket walked over on my seat side look dead [Music] and i said to the lord lord what are you trying to show me what is going on here i ain't mad lord [Music] i receive it and thank you for it [Music] but i can hear him speaking to my i don't know how y'all hear him but i can hear him speaking to me and saying just as i did for you i'm going to do for others so tell them blessing is coming so i've received the blessings from yesterday receive the blessings today and glory came in this house y'all hear what i'm y'all don't hear what i'm you know glory filled this space that's when the lord said tell the people blessings and glory [Music] you're gonna need the glory to cover the blessings so that you'll know what to do when the blessing starts to come because it's coming i don't know maybe a hundred of you will accept those simple words the blessing is coming i said the blessing is coming i said the blessing is coming and following the blessing there going to be some glory in your house if you're watching online the blessing is still coming to your house and glory is gonna fill your house well when i was thinking about that somebody ran up here and put a seat on the altar and i said right now it's seed sowing time you got to know when it's seed sowing time get your tide get to offering whatever you got seed sow in time come just come come come just come just come just come just come just come just whatever whatever's in your heart this is unrehearsed moments these are god for no reason there will be an after effect you hear what i'm saying something is coming following this hyundai i feel like an evangelist right now yes the lord is going to work that miracle for you yes he's going to provide for you yes he's going to raise you and your family to a new height to a new level in the season that you're in yes he's going to do it because he made a promise to you to do it and he cannot lie if he said it he'll do it if he's spoken he will bring it to pass heaven and earth shall pass away but not one dead no child not one killer of god's word will move away from what he has decreed and declared over your life yes yes the lord is going to do it they're going to make a way out of nowhere for you i said he gonna make a way out of nowhere for you son he gonna make a way out of nowhere for you i'm telling you he gonna bust a door down for you he's gonna open up a window for you and he's going to make a way for you you're going to be blessed in the city you're going to be blessed in the field you're going to be blessed coming and going ah the people around you are going to rise up and say my god how did you get that blessing where did you get that glory joy in your house because what always follows joy is provision i dare about 10 of y'all to just declare and kind of wave your hand and say he gonna make a way for me oh yes he is he don't make a way sarmin simon the leopard as he sat at me there came a woman having an alabaster box became a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of specna very precious and the bible says and she break the box the bible says she break the box somebody say break the box come on say it again say break the box one more time say i gotta break the box and poured it on his head and there were some that had indignation be careful when you break the box within themselves and said why was this waste of the anointment or this ointment made why is she wasting this oil be careful when you break the box and people around you don't understand you're breaking up your boxes and the pouring out of what you got what you value for it might have been so the bible says for more than 300 pence and have been given to the poor this is what the bible said it would have been given to the poor and they murmured against her and jesus said let her alone why trouble ye her she has wrought a good work on me she did this for me for ye have the poor with you always and when whensoever ye shall ye will ye may do them good but me ye have not always king james version she have done what she could she came before hand to anoint my body to the burial [Music] father take these next few moments and say the garrison of angels to guard the word that goes into the hearts and the minds of you today father i thank you that you're establishing your purpose plan your purpose your plan your will for our lives we will move forward we will advance after hearing this truth in jesus name i thank you and i praise you that all god's people say amen here's what i was thinking i was thinking what god desires more than anything else why don't you share that with me this is what i believe say this is what i believe this is what god desires more than from me it is total commitment good somebody said amen not partial involvement nor conditional service some of us just keep giving god partial involvement some of us keep giving god conditional service i'll serve you lord under these conditions but if you do this for me then i'll do that for you god is not looking i don't think any longer for you to operate in a situational commitment you only commit when the situation is to your advantage i can stop right there here's what i believe god desires but what god desires is someone who will leave everything ever i need to give that word to you one more time everything else give everything else give everything else give everything over to him and serve him and serve him with your whole heart this is what i believe god is requiring from us we've got to move away from the situation being good so that i can praise i don't believe that god is necessarily looking for people who simply keep laws and and standards anymore and just because you live an exemplary life i don't think god's looking for that anymore i think what god values more than anything else is commitment would you would you raise that up with me say he values commitment god values i believe he values commitment over oh you ain't gonna like this i'm learning that he he values commitment over holiness because some can be acting holy but not committed i think god values commitment over talent because you can have a talent to do certain things but not be committed to it i think god values commitment over even you trying to be perfect over perfection i believe that commitment is the asset test as to whether we will be pleasing in god's eyes commitment is the asset test to whether or not we will be pleasing and acceptable to god this is my reasonable service well is it help me jesus let me give you some examples of what i'm talking about go to matthew's gospel matthews chapter 19 beginning at verse number 16. and behold one came and said unto him good master what good thing shall i do that i may have eternal life and he said unto him why call it thou me good there is none good but one that is god but if thou will enter into life listen to what he says he this is what he says if you don't enter into real life here's what you got to do keep the commandments he saith unto him which which jesus said thou shall do no murder thou shalt not commit adultery thou shall not steal thou shalt not bear false witness honor thy father and thy mother and thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself the young man said unto him listen to the story all these things have i kept from my youth up what lack i yet he says jesus said unto him if thou will be perfect go and sell that thou has and give to the poor and then he says and thou shalt have treasure in heaven and come and follow me then now you can follow me but when the young man the bible says but when a young man heard that saying of jesus when he when he has this conversation with jesus he went away the bible says he went away sorrowful he went away sorrowful for the for the for for the for he had such great possessions so what i recognize is here's a man who kept the law yes he did who morally he was morally pure from his youth up yes yet he lacked the commitment to abandon everything the world had to offer and follow jesus by faith he couldn't do it jesus said this is how you're going to get to get close to me and follow me you've got to give up everything and his lack of commitment somebody say commitment cost him an opportunity to follow jesus because he could not commit to that lost to opportunity to follow after jesus i would submit to you that before we can truly follow jesus y'all we must completely separate ourselves from the old life and the old pleasures of life i'm gonna say that one more time in order for us now to follow jesus all the way we have got to commit ourselves into separating ourselves you got to make i know we don't teach this in church we don't preach this in church but you got to commit to be separate you just can't be separate because the situation gave you the opportunity to declare that i'm separate and set aside for the use of the lord jesus christ you know you got to commit to it there's a guy by the name of jerry dylan he says you can't steal second base with your foot on first somebody some of y'all athletes know what i'm saying right now you can't have the best of both worlds now we can't have you can't have your cake and eat it too i know you want it i know you want you know what okay lisa i know you want the balance but if you really think about it do you really want to balance do you want the same world as you do the same god i want as much as the world as i get as much of jesus sometimes you got to get rid of the balance and separate end up being like the guy that got him testified for god i live for god i'll die we ain't got no more testimonies like that got too many people still trying to walk the fence try to maintain the connection with with your past with the world with the pleasures of sin help me jesus and still try to serve god it ain't going to work getting those things which are behind you gotta you gotta let it go can i get the church to shout real loud let it go no well you need to shout something in your own soul man there were times when i tell you i had to come to the place of me well i had to say i got to let that go i can't try to balance that with god you know try to measure that with god do i want to because it makes me feel good to do this or do i really want god to have his way in me well maybe i'll just balance it all out i'll get a little bit of the world get a little bit of the flesh get a little bit of the presence of life just for a season you know it's i i i that's the least that i can give to myself really james chapter 1 verse 8 says a double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways and so i would submit to you this this day as as the premise as the as a foundation as the building block of this particular message and it is more than anything somebody help me say more than anything god desires say god desires are unequivocal reckless total commitment to him some of y'all saying amen but i don't know if you're ready for it i know some of you have said well bishop i don't know pastor i i've separated myself from the world in my actions my i separate myself from with my desires my conversation and my place of where i go i separate myself isn't that good enough sorry no it's not enough to be separated from the world because what you got to do is if you don't if you don't then separate unto god it ain't gonna work but i separated myself from the well i'm free from all this stuff but you didn't separate yourself unto god talk about the god be the glory no he ain't getting no glory out of you right now because you have fixed yourself to believe that if i can just separate myself from this sinful stuff i'll be okay i'll just stay right out here just like this i don't know if anybody's getting this i'll just say right out here just like this i just i'm i'm you become satisfied because you made some decision to separate yourself from some things you're like abraham abraham was called out of her into uh um i think it was canaan but he stopped in the in the city called haran and stayed there until his father died out of er but not in canaan you you you came out of something but you didn't go into where you were supposed to go i need you to hit your neighbor because it's your family members tell them you got to go all the way you got to go all the way you got to go all the way you got to be like paul in romans chapter 1. he said paul said the servant of jesus christ called to be an apostle separated unto separated unto separated not just separated from but separated unto the gospel of jesus christ unto the gospel of god you see at some point you're good works well you ain't gonna like this let me go over here at some point because preachers praying for me over here some at some point you're going to discover that your good works is not pleasing god you know what he said he said your righteousness was that as filthy rags anyway at some point you got to realize we got to be sold out to him heart soul mind body strength we got to be sold out to him because of jesus christ of nazareth we got to be sold out we've got to be separated unto the glory and the lordship of jesus christ because it's when somebody help me say it's when say it again say it's when you see is when we withhold nothing from jesus it's when somebody help me say when it's when we let nothing stand in our way it's when somebody help me say when when it's when we put nothing above jesus that is when somebody help me say when when look at your neighbor and say neighbor that's when that's when that's when he becomes pleased with your life that's when and only then will he be pleased with your life when you decide that i will serve him i will give him on i will bless his i will seek him every single morning i will call on the name of the lord every single day i will enter his gates with thanksgiving i will stand in his courts with praise i will bless the lord at all times and his praise itself continue to be in my mouth when when i made the decision to commit myself to the house of the lord jesus christ that's when he becomes pleased with you other than that he's just being entertained by you [Applause] i ain't had that one in my notes how many times we just became so good at entertaining god we're so good at entertaining god [Applause] in the text the story of a woman who we believe to be mary the sister of martha in mark chapter number one mark chapter number 14 that's where we that's where we went right mark chapter 14. yeah chapter 14 verse 3 and being in bethany in the house of simon the leper as he sat at me there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment spekner very precious and she break the box and poured it on his head luke chapter 7 luke chapter 7 verse 37 and behold a woman in the city which was a sinner the bible says when she knew that jesus sat at meat in the pharisees house brought an alabaster box of appointment john's gospel clearly contains an account very similar to this one and he specifically names mary he names mary the sister of martha but this setting is the house of lazarus after he has has been raised from the dead the events the dialogue the the comments by judas are all pretty much the same if you read the gospel stories so i won't i won't argue with this um the same account or not i don't know if it's the same account or not because what really matters today is the attitude with which this nameless woman approaches jesus it's the attitude that we have to focus on now i want you to notice some things about this setting jesus is sitting in the house of simon the leopard some feel that this is a leopard that jesus himself had healed luke's luke's account just calls him a pharisee if this is true he has doubled the reason to be thankful because jesus is not supposed to be in his house but he's thankful regardless he's so grateful that the master has showed up in his house he gives god praise and thanksgiving i heard one of my sons praying this morning father we just thank you we just thank you for being in the house we thank you we just thank you just to begin to thank you thank you for everything thank you for this thank you for that thank you for up thank you for down thank you for end thank my feet were hurting but you still gave me the ability to get up and walk and do what i had to do even when i didn't feel 100 but yet lord you was right there to empower me injected in me the concern that i had for myself that i needed to get up and do what i needed to do so that i can be whatever you called me to be and i can have what you have so prepared for me to have thank you thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus and if you don't do nothing else lord i won't stop thanking you genuine gratitude is never satisfied i will con come here songwriter he a lady who has so much to be thankful for that words fail her somebody is seeing the picture alex somebody's in this picture i'll be trying to draw the picture i'll be trying to draw she's so overwhelmed by being in the nashaya angie overwhelmed by being in his presence that she can't find words she can't find words so luke said that she just stood at the feet of jesus weeping so overcome with emotion and what jesus has done for her that she can't she can't speak she can only weep i now answered what time is it my question when i would see you all go off in the dance and you'll get to praising god and my my my my praising him and sometimes i had to drop the mic and it isn't because he ain't he doesn't mean anything no and because i ain't got nothing to say but was so overwhelmed by his presence that my words are not adequate enough to describe how he has made me to feel right now so there were times now i understand it where i would just weep when some of you would run i started weeping when some of you would dance i started weeping when when some of y'all would raise your hand i started weeping because of the presence of jesus it's so overwhelming that i can't put no words to it i just have to weep i weep like the woman she just wept and the in the midst of this setting mary breaks in the midst of the setting she breaks the precious alabaster box that is filled with precious ointment that could have represented her life savings her whole life savings was wrapped up in this box and she breaks it she breaks it she breaks it d i dream she breaks it [Applause] and pours everything in it out of it y'all got to see it she doesn't unscrew the top gee she breaks it i almost jumped down just a second ago but i thought about it she didn't un cork it met she had to break it she didn't want to waste time thinking that there's a possibility that i would have to refill it this one cannot be revealed this is so much of all that i am how can i ever refill it so i don't need to screw it the top off and try to pour it so that i can refill it now i've got to break this thing and empty id outcome she does this while others in the room she does this you remember i said earlier that the guy that's running the house prepared the table for jesus probably wash his head or whatever they gave some but she gave all you see marvin there's a there's a hichaka there's a difference in the church between people who just give and people who give all you see it in their walk you hear it in their talk you're not confused of if they belong totally to god or not ah some of y'all give but others give everything you got i wish i can get maybe five people because all of y'all together if you start giving god everything you got we'll never get to go home you will leave here in the spirit you leave here speaking in tongues you leave here looking for somebody to lay hands on on the street not in the church because we don't want to entertain god in the church anymore we want to make a difference out in the streets where the people need a miracle they need a breakthrough they need another direction to walk in ah she broke it and she gave everything that was in the box couldn't get it all out except she had to break it ali she had to break it when are we going to be willing to break our box and give god everything now my message there are five reasons why this sister mary her worship is so indicative of what god desires from us number one for her the true spirit of worship the true spirit of worship son is giving god all and not holding back anything the true spirit of worship is giving god all not just what you want to give him but giving him all right not just uh uh hallelujah but giving them all all is when you empty out everything do me a favor would you tell your neighbor through your mass you got to give them all because true worship is not giving jesus your leftovers true worship like this this woman she she didn't give jesus her leftovers but she gave him the best somebody help me say i got to give him the best she didn't give him the energy left over after uh she fulfilled her own desires but she gave him the best that she had true worshipers hear me church we've been playing games long enough real worshipers that's why you know when when that demon gets up here and he gets to stomping and running and twisting and shaking and dancing what he's doing is trying to get you to break your box and give god all like he is others have done that that have led to worship marie when she get more god she gives god everything she starts she starts to drip with wetness my god oh when are we as the body of believers knowing all that god has done for us the goodness of the lord has not failed our life when are we going to just lose our i know i know sometimes when you hear lose your mind and worship lose your mind and pray i don't know i don't know if y'all really know how to do just that but there has to come a time in your life where you lose your mind i worship him and i'm not worshiping because the music sounds right i'm not doing this because my best preacher doesn't come up in the house i'm not doing it because they sang my favorite worship song this morning glory to god now you got to get committed to this thing called worship if they don't sing your favorite song i still will worship if the preacher don't preach your favorite message i still will worship if the musicians don't play right i will still worship god i make a commitment to worship him in spirit and in truth oh god give us the zeal for jesus christ again like you did with mary give us the zeal that paul had but what things were gained to me he said those i counted lost for christ yet doubtless he said and i count all things but lost for the excellency of the knowledge of jesus christ my lord for whom i have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but done that i may win christ that i may win christ i need you to touch your neighbor say neighbor it doesn't matter what you're going through you still got to get in his presence it doesn't matter what the doctor says you still got to get in his presence it doesn't matter what the lawyer said you still got to get in his presence i want the excellency of the knowledge of jesus christ because if i come to know him in the power of his resurrection the dinner was simply this everyone else came to receive something they came to eat but mary is the only one that the bible records who didn't come to eat she came after the meal she came she showed up after the meal had ended she didn't come to eat do you she came she after the meal was over now she shows up and they sitting in the house conversing just talking and because she didn't come to receive she came to give can i get you all to start coming to give unto the lord his do and that's that's that's that's all about your attitude what do you think about him i'm so s i don't know i'm the music to the color of the carpet to to personal preferences that that i refuse to support just makes me wonder why in the world did you get saved and why in the world are you still coming to church i know i don't like that blue carpet so what i don't like the lights so what when are you gonna get your eyes off of the lights get your eyes off of the carpet get your eyes off of what color suit i wear oh bishop you like zeus slayer yeah i like what you got on forget that when are you gonna come looking for jesus is he in the music is he in the worship is he in the where is jesus today what is our purpose for coming why are you coming here is it just to hear the music or to sing with the choir or just because some friend invited you here we need to get back to the single purpose of coming to church and that is to worship jesus babe you know i'm about to you know i get to the place of forget the announcements people don't need no more announcements y'all got announcements all running in everywhere and you get so many announcements you forget about jesus we still gonna do announcements afterwards we don't need another trick or treat somebody help me say we need jesus can you say we need jesus on the keyboard can you say we need jesus on the organ can you say we need jesus on the drums can you say we need jesus on the guitar can you say we just need jesus i don't want ahead and do that then go ahead and worship worship worship worship worship if you're home you ought to worship on your job you ought to worship mary's worship was spontaneous number four her worship was spontaneous she didn't wait for the spirit to move her she didn't wait until just the right time in the service she didn't wait for the choir to get her her pumped up the worship team to pump her up she didn't wait for that but she walked in and without a power began to worship god when no one else was worshiping she was worshiping god hey gee you know what's going to bring real revival in the church again it's when all of us begin to worship the lord spontaneously when i think of the goodness of jesus and all he's done for me when nobody else is clapping i'm clapping when nobody else's hands go up rachel my hand goes up when nobody else raises their voice i raise my voice lift my heart to god in praise when it's when it is just something that overwhelms us and we spontaneously begin to pour our hearts out to jesus finally this is what i really want to get in you marry worshiped without reservation this precious box represented her life's wealth it represented the things in life that she thought were of value before she met jesus this this this box represented her past her pedigree her savings oh that she was her dreams this box represented her goals her aspirations her ideas of of what was truly important in life notice with me as i close notice that she didn't just uncork the bottle and pour out the perfume but she broke the box she comes to jesus and she says i love you so much come on let everybody stand i love you so much jesus i'm going to break this thing that i think is of such value to me so that i so so that i can so that i won't be able to pick it back up later i'm going to break it completely so i don't have to go back to that again she says lord this now that meant so much to me but now when i'm with you it means nothing to me anymore jesus because you mean everything i want to challenge us again in prayer god has been dealing with me so strongly on this issue some of us need to break some boxes we come to worship but we hold on to that box that contains our dreams our goals our desires our material possessions we don't we don't mind pouring it out once in a while but when but we but but we we still take the box home and we refill it again you see god is looking for people who will love him so much that they that they will break their alabaster boxes and anoint his feet with their contents i bring to you god all that i am all that i have and we say to jesus jesus i lay all of my ideas all of my goals all of my desires all of my dreams i lay it at your feet and i furthermore i am going to break this box once and for all god is looking for people you and i who will not only be involved who will not only follow for the loaves and the fishes jesus but people who will worship him and only him with their whole heart let me challenge you this week would you find the box it's right there would you break that box open and pour all of your cares all of your hopes all of your dreams all of your visions all of your desires would you pour it on jesus here's the magnificence of it son the magnificence of it is that this pouring of all that she valued became an anointing it did not become an anointing in and of itself it had to receive an anointing to become an anointing so clearly god gave her what she valued and she in turn gave it back to him it's like baby christening in this church god gives you the gift of life and then we give it back to him what are you willing to break once and for all and give it all to jesus so that you do not prevent yourself from worshiping him in spirit and in truth with a whole heart let's pray together bow your heads [Music] here we are lord and lord we used to say things like we come as empty vessels but the truth of the matter is lord we we so full of ourselves we're so full of stuff it's sometimes amazing to us that we can find you in the midst of all the stuff we got in us but today lord we break the box we break we bring to you our box and we break it because what we need from you is going to require a commitment we got to commit ourselves to you lord again so lord today we make a fresh new commitment to follow you to trust you in all of our ways to depend on you in every area of our lives to hold on to your very promises that you made unto us we commit ourselves to the truth of your word we commit ourselves to the power of the manifestation of the glory of god that will be that fulfillment for our soul and for our lives that nothing else will be able to bring fulfillment other than your presence the manifested presence of your glory in our lives and lord we commit we commit to not carrying all of the stuff that you so graciously given to us we commit to always to present it right back to you all to jesus we surrender everything we give it to you lord today in jesus name let the people of god shout amen would you do me a favor would you just throw your hands up to the lord and just honor him with your voice with your words and worship him just for a second i'll give you a good 60 seconds of worship and mary come [Music] jesus i love you come on renew yourself make another commitment to jesus lord i'm not going to get tripped up anymore i'm going to commit to you i'm going to commit to you i'm going to commit to you going to commit to you and only you to you jesus lord i'm not i'm no longer going to be distracted by the stuff i got in my box i'm going to break this box open and pour it all out to you this is it lord once and for all i'm gonna break this thing because i don't need it to be filled up again i need to break it and give all that i am all that i will be all my possibilities all that i have i want to give it to you jesus i present my body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto you this is my reasonable service so transform me lord make me into the very vessel that you require me to be causing me to do what you have commanded to call me to do and while you're doing it lord i'll bless your name i'll worship that you will keep them and cover them and protect them lord we come against any sickness and we thank you for the healing virtues that took place god at the very beginning of service god and i pray god for your people even as they travel as they go home god that all will be well at home god i pray today god that your power will be with them as they go throughout the week god that you will shield them lord bless them and continually make them a blessing we speak blessings and the glory of god to be upon your people you said that the blessing of the lord will make us rich and add no sorrow to our lives so we thank you for this now and all these things we ask in jesus name let all god's people say amen god bless you grace and peace be unto you from god our father and the lord jesus christ be blessed it was wonderful so if you're at home hopefully you prayed along with pastor mary but i just want to say a quick word of prayer with you yes that this week you will be blessed you will hold on to your blessing so god we pray for everyone watch your lord thank you we pray for everyone god who stayed with us and and we pray god that they would have an amazing week that their focus would be on you lord that they would remember to pray they will remember to praise and worship and give you their all not just on sunday but every day we pray god for those who may be sick for complete healing yes those who are mourning that you would comfort them those who are god not sure what's going on mentally bring clarity in the name of jesus love you we praise you we thank you amen amen amen what a powerful i mean it was different it was totally different today right usually we have praise and worship and but we went right in after the prayer and then demone who is our worship leader decided yes he decided that worship was going to go in a different way it still worked somebody need to be healed he said come on up yes so maybe some of you received your healing if you received your healing type it in the in the uh chat yes yes god is the heal he's still in the healing business he's in the healing business so since we didn't have praise in worship do you want to offer up a song bishop's word today was about breaking the alabaster box oh my goodness that's one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists cece yes she said okay so you don't know the cost yes [Music] it's not how many keys you hit right right it's that you're breaking the box giving your all to jesus singing is about the right total commitment total commitment that's what he talked about today i mean the fact that the story comes from mark 14 about the the woman who had the alabaster box and she broke it it was worth a lot of money a lot of money and there was some shade in the room man there was some shade in the room they were like what did you just break why did you give that to jesus yeah and why would you just break why would you just sell it and do good yeah which is what bishop talked about today sometimes that thing about doing good is in us and that's okay but it's not by works unless any man should boast but but even when we do good so she gave what was most precious to her yes so what's most precious to you she gave it to god what's most precious and what god wants is your heart yes and sometimes he wants you to bless others there are times but but my heart my soul my mind my commitment my everything he wants that and so it was like it's symbolic of just giving just opening up all this stuff in here all your baggage all your past and just got here take it he can make your mess into a message yes he can and he and even if because he did it for elder nate yes he did thank god for salvation we're praying and believing god for total salvation [Music] level yes we do have to we do have to readjust sometimes and and just believe god for more a greater commitment toward him because we can do a lot we really can like sacrifice a lot and we just do that because maybe we're just because just because it doesn't come from your heart that's why we do this plug-in show yes because it's not really about i mean we're superstars no we're not so anyway this is my superstar it is it is not about pastor angel or elder david right now it really is about keeping the connection plugged in i mean i i mean the sacrifice that that people make to come to the church and to tune in and to come online we appreciate that and it means because it means that we're continuing to grow we got new members coming in all the time we're growing as a family and that's what it's all about and we had a member joined today here in the house that was referred to by someone who you catch that today so one of you this week just go out and share the good news listen even if they don't join abundant life family what's great but we want them to because we think it's good good seed it's a good place to be it's a place to grow right but even if they don't join here the greater greater greater thing is we want them to know the lord to know the lord you know that's the greatest witness that we can do to their hearts yeah then we grow from there you know there we go i want to also invite uh if you have teenagers from 7th grade through 12th grade we're going to have a true love weight session on october the 16th from 10 a.m to 2 p.m but we need you to register go on to our website um and go to online forms and you'll see true love wait just fill that out so we need to know how much food to have here we're going to give them a little bit of lunch a little bit of lunch yes but we're going to teach them about what age groups 7th grade through 12th grade 7 through twelve okay and we're going to teach them about god's purpose for sex wow what god meant it for and the the blessing them waiting you're gonna talk about sex yes and we are not gonna be sugar coating it uh we're going to give it to them yeah absolutely because if we if somebody doesn't tell them the world will tell them we don't want that to be their view right we want them to know god's way yes it's the right way it's the right way i mean it really is it really is so if you do not have a church home remember you can
