know you out there i've seen you and when i said i was gonna do it i just failed to do it sometimes but so what i said to do is gonna look at the comments i do look at the comments every single week and i see that that there are certain people that join us every single sunday they're there we have members that join us from california we have members that join us from south carolina and so uh oh my goodness yes because we know she's the best singer out there she will be singing it all right so what else we got to do um so on sunday bishop reached an amazing message titled why oh my god oh i was in the front seat standing up for almost the whole service i just couldn't sit down it was amazing and so i know as believers sometimes we have these questions where like like why am i not married or why is this pandemic still going on or why did i lose my job and i know sometimes we can feel like it's taboo so elderly i want to ask you is it still taboo or consider taboo or do you even think that it's taboo to ask god why sometimes wow you know what that's a great question because sometimes i know i grew up in a household and you don't ask any questions you just if they if your mother tells you to do something you just do it just know why like why do i have to clean my room you can try to be what so sometimes that becomes a little taboo when we have when we when there's authority yeah and we ask the authority why we have to do something but they see but god is not like that right he's not like man right and so we can always ask god why we can we can always come to him and here's the thing we can always come to him with a pure heart yes and if we're angry if we're upset with god he's not gonna strike us down because we're angry with them exactly sometimes we just don't understand because we just don't know we don't know why okay why did what happened to my in this pandemic i lost my job why god and so um this is an opportunity for us to just really tune into god and and just say god why did you do this god wants he wants our attention yeah what about you what do you think honestly that i don't think it's taboo to ask god why and i'll tell you why when i was younger my mom had got me a teen study bible and in the teen study bible it talked about doubting god and i remember when i was younger i thought you were never supposed to doubt god like what elder nate said if your mom tells you to do something you do it and i thought it was the same exact way with god and while he does value obedience he doesn't mind us asking why and i'm even reminded of thomas you know when um jesus resurrected and he was in the upper room thomas doubted you know and he didn't hesitate to let that be known to jesus and we often do right we often make fun like oh you would doubt in thomas but if we think about it thomas was one of the only ones to touch jesus directly when he resurrected and so sometimes our wives you know they will draw us closer to god he doesn't want us to be afraid to ask him why it does draw us closer wow listen get your offerings out right now because she just preached what an amazing response that was i thank god because yes because if we adopt that same philosophy yeah and we just sometimes it's just a matter of us stretching our faith a little bit right and sometimes we don't maybe we don't we don't know 100 but if we touch something and we feel something right then it increases our faith exactly it increases wow that's amazing that's amazing look so ask the question why don't be afraid to ask god why in your in your personal circumstance in your personal situation because at the end of the day god wants fellowship and communion with you right he wants you to talk to him and isn't you sitting around being mad all the time don't do that don't listen sometimes we i get mad at god i'm not going to put on anybody else but sometimes i get mad at god because i just don't understand right and so i try to go into that that secret place i try to ask god what is it that you're trying to show me what is it that you what about our relationship needs to be closer in this regard and and that's what we asked the question why so i have a question for you yes how do you prepare for your why to be answered or even not answered sometimes oh boy wow see one of the things that bishop talked about this past sunday was our our relationship with him yes and one of the things that pastor angel and i talked about at the end if you watch the end of the the service on sunday one thing we talked about is the difference between whether or not we are serving and whether or not we have a direct relationship with god that's so good because when you when you're serving you serve and then you you're used and you're done right but if you have a relationship with god and i look at it like this i look like this you can you will never have to ask a mother who really loves her child to feed them right you'll never have to ask her to feed them exactly because she loves she does it because she loves her child and so if we if if what we do and we ask god the question why so we don't necessarily always have to have the answer to that whether it's yes or no sometimes we always oh well i know i do always want the answer to be yes god can have a million dollars yes yes yes are you god okay he said he was but we even in our own personal relations we want to say yes to our to our brother and our sister but sometimes it's not right right they ask us a question and we want to say yes to it but really god is saying to us well the answer is not yes the answer is either not yet or sometimes it's just an outright no because god knows us better than we know ourselves and so how do i prepare for that i try to deepen my relationship that's so good so that i can at the end of the day i can just accept whatever they got whatever the lord says come on elderly that's good you see what i'm talking about wow isn't god i'm not listen today tonight bishop is going to preach a word to us and and we really want even i really want you to open up your hearts we really want you to open up your minds and your spirits to receive some things he may say you may not like he talked a lot this sunday about whether or not you should you want to or should come back to church we listen we want to see you we do we do we want to if you close by we want you to come and say hello we'll be like yeah what's up what's up sis what's up bro we're going to say hello to you but if you're not able to make it this is this is why we're here yeah and so we ask you to just open up your heart tonight to receive the word from the lord i want to say a prayer tonight for our folks would you mind i don't mind at all so father we thank you and we praise you for the excellency which is yours god if we had 10 000 tons we could not thank you or praise you enough would you prepare our hearts tonight to receive your word so that minds o god to receive and to hear your word o god you minister to us o lord in the name of jesus oh god father god we ask that you forgive us o god for every sin every transgression every iniquity everything that we have done that has come against you and we ask oh god after you have cleansed us oh god in the name of jesus oh god fill us up with your holy spirit oh god fill us up with your presence oh god so that we can move and operate and do what you have set us in the earth to do o god in the name of jesus god help us o god to spread your gospel help us o lord to show love help us lord to forgive when we need to forgive o god but lord we pray right now that you will saturate this atmosphere oh god that you will release your word oh god a rhema word oh god let the fire of the holy ghost of god surround us oh god in the name of jesus remove everything that is not of you and not like you in the name of jesus we submit to your will god we say yes god we surrender oh god in unmovable always abounding in the work of the lord what you do works for us what you do provides for us what you do answers our questions what you do lifts our burdens what you do lightens our load what you do causes us to forsake sin and the operation of the flesh and step into the most powerful generation of the spirit the qualification of the spirit that makes us alive in you thank you for being who you are thank you jesus thank you lord for above you there is none other none beside you and so we honor you lord today as we move our faith toward you and a at a greater pace for greater dimensions now speak your word unto us tonight lord cause your servants to hear and obey so much so until we become that light that's in the world the salt that makes the difference in this earth we thank you for this opportunity to serve you in the capacity by which we do and we honor you today be glorified cause your people to be edified and strengthened we ask this in jesus name that all god's people shout amen amen there is none like you no one else can touch my heart like you do i can search for all the eternity lord and vine there is none oh there is none [Music] [Music] for the lord is good in his mercy endures forever just before you take your seat would you just look around uh well you normally say reach around and touch somebody but just look around and smile at your neighbor if you're in your homes if you can turn around and smile at your family members go right ahead give a big old smile and tell them god's up to something in your life you're in the right place at the right time there's an explosion coming to your house yes that's going to rock your world you hear what i'm saying explosion of the power the presence of jesus christ in a magnificent way in a magnificent way somebody helped me say in a magnificent way in a in a mind-blowing way in an earth-shaking way there's some new dimensions of god's power and presence that is about to be unfold right before you the people of god the body of christ i want you to know something that i've read this uh as a devotional the the cows are coming that's what i say what is that all about in first psalm chapter four the philistines had defeated the israelites in a battle captured the ark of the covenant which was pretty much a symbolized symbol of god's presence god's power for the people of god they stole the ark but then the ark was returned it wasn't returned in the normal way it got hooked up to some cows and the cows brought the animals brought the ark back into the house of worship into the presence of the until the presence of the lord was so dominant it was so powerful i don't know i don't know what you got coming or who's bringing it but the cows are coming cars are coming mail is coming because god's sitting god sitting your miracle god sitting your breakthrough god's said in your blessing and he's returning some glory back to your house there will be glory supply in your house somebody help me shout there will be no worry no fear but glory provision coming to my house hallelujah somebody help me say it's coming it's coming this comet is coming it's coming i don't know but every now and then when you know something is coming you have that unsurety you look for it and you wait for it the waiting has everything to do with its coming i wouldn't be in the position of waiting if i didn't know something was coming but i know something is coming so i'm waiting on it because cause it will it will show up somebody wave your hand and say it will show up i believe it y'all better sit down glory to god be seated in the presence of the lord all right real quick grab your bibles turn with me to the book of saint john's chapter number 15 saint john's gospel chapter number 15 and we're going to begin reading at verse number 14 tonight something i believe i'm sorry verse 4 tonight four five six and seven i think that's where we're going to go tonight and i need you to prepare yourself for a fresh new uh i can't describe it any other way but a new awakening and the awakening is going to come through a new fresh connection somebody help me say a new fresh connection we talked about this on sunday about the body of christ being fitly joined together compact by that which every joint supplies the spirit of the lord began to minister to my heart concerning that he said take a little bit further and i wanted to encourage you the people of god the body of christ to really begin to look deep into the power of connection ah the power of connection we need i believe this is the time for the greatest connections in the history of the body of christ it's time for real connection not superficial connection but real connection well some are standing why don't we all stand in respect to the word of the lord tonight oh that's i like that amen oh yeah we're getting back to some good old principles and forms that unites us together as the people of god now here's what i need you to do i need you to discern this thing called connection tonight okay because while we are while we are here and not everybody is here but while we are here god's about to deliver us into a new dimension because we are here you know sometimes god does things because because you released your faith he released a miracle because you decided that you weren't going to let go of what he promised he sends more promises it's even so powerful that once the musicians are connected when musicians are connected to musicians when when you all are connected with each other there's a great outpour of the anointing called oil when the worship team that's why y'all can't be disconnected because when the worship team is connected you get what happens tonight you get what happens last sunday you get what happens suddenly before that you get what happens during the revival this is what happens when there is real connection when you get when we get rid of all the isms and schisms when you get rid oh wait a minute wait a minute let me go a little bit deeper and i'm going to point it out in a minute when you get rid of all your flesh god can move when you get rid of oh here's another thing when you get rid of all your sin all right yeah because it is sin that disconnects us it's all that pain and hurt that you don't experience for no reason john chapter 14 verse 15 john chapter 15 verse 4 here's what it says dwell in me and i will dwell in you live in me and i will live in you just as no branch no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in come on listen to this very carefully being vitally united to the vine okay let me let me just pause just for a second abiding in the vine this is important neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in me let me just let you think about that marinade marinade on it no fruit except you abide in me this is what the bible says and then jesus takes a little bit further he says now just in case you weren't clear on who i am i'm the vine and just in case you forget who you are you the branches he said i'm the vine you the branches whoever lives in me and i in him bears much fruit come on abundant life much fruit however apart from me cut cut off cut off cut off from vital union with me you can do absolutely nothing i'm telling you it can be made more plainer than that if a person does not dwell in me he is thrown out like a broken or broken off branch and withers and withers and withers such branches are are gathered up and thrown into the fire oh and they are burned [Music] you ain't in him he ain't in you you get cut off and you get burnt up i'm sorry for laughing but that's crazy verse seven final verse if you live in me abide vitally united to me live in me and my words remain in you and continues to live in your hearts you got to get that word in your hearts because when you do ask whatever you will the bible says and it shall be done for you this is the word of the lord thanks be unto god you may be seated in the presence of the lord so what do we say when we can't get online just the other day pastor marion was doing her thing with the um just us girls and uh we have we have uh we have uh we have the necessary equipment i thought in my house so that we could broadcast on stream yard and facebook uh her just us girls got modems i got everything i thought was necessary and just at the 30-minute mile marker before the broadcast was aired she went on and all of a sudden while we were online we got offline and we went bananas well i went bananas because i was the engineer she yelled out i'm not on i yelled there yes you are she said no i'm not on i'm not on i went and checked all of my computers all my stuff and i figured it out we're we lost the connection truth of the matter is we put great value in connection all of us now we are computer savvy and we know how to start compute the computers up we know how to we don't have to plug it in so it gets powered so it can boot up and there's nothing that's more frustrating i don't know about you but for me to already put the power in the computer and go to turn it on and i don't have no connection because it was more than the power in the wall from the wall into the computer i needed that connection to the router there's things that that are necessary for uh the broadcast necessary for you to be online with your job online with your friends and we can be online and all of a sudden lose the connection screen goes out we had several of our meetings with my staff my executive board and my staff and every now and then while i'm talking somebody's screen would go black or you know we can manipulate it now and put our picture on but there's no real you because we lost the connection when i get in my car and well just the other day got in my car and i was looking for my cord that charges my phone and somebody had taken it out and i was not upset i was angry because i need that cord to connect to my phone so that i can charge it so that it works nothing worse than having a phone and you ain't got no connection to the power same thing with the car my my wife i brought her this car several years ago how many years ago maybe almost 18 years ago 17 years ago i bought her this car this little car convertible car to uh for her for our anniversary i thought it was just nice if i just get her this car and uh had a little money and i i got the car they they let me make monthly payments until i paid it off the car would ride nice we'd be traveling down the road there's convertible air blowing through her hair so we've had this car for a long time but just the other day i went out to start it up and all i could hear was tick the car somehow has lost its charge your car isn't going to work and i've discovered this car not going to work unless the battery is connected properly if it's a bad connection from the battery it ain't gonna work and then if if the battery is working dennis but the generator has lost this connection to the battery i said battery i betcha you i get that fro it won't work so i raised a general question to those of us that are here tonight those who are watching the general principle to the question i'm going to raise is what disconnects you from god if we if excuse me if we go down a little bit deeper it is is what keeps my connection active is i've discovered i must do what jesus says i'm supposed to do uh i got to do what he says i'm supposed to do and and if i am truly his disciple i gotta obey everything he tells me to do i gotta go where he tells me to go i gotta say what he tells me to say i gotta be where he commands me to be and the only way that that connection is going to remain solid and strong is that i got to die [Applause] that ain't [Music] [Applause] there has to be i'm getting right to it y'all a daily crucifixion of your flesh because if you don't kill that it will disconnect you from him [Applause] just like those battery connections get at some point corroded so it is with our spirit and our flesh and the work of sin in our heart it grows it diminishes it it ultimately disconnects us from god's presence more succinctly it it erodes our desire to be in god's presence when you are disconnected not only will you know it but everybody around you gonna know it when when there is corrosion in the connection that brings about a disconnection you got to pay attention because it's hard to hear the voice of god when you have already decided what you want his voice to say [Applause] if you already decide this is what i want him to say that's all you listening for you'll never really hear what he wants you to do [Music] and ultimately that is a dis connect you see a disconnected spirit feeds on pride it feeds on lust a disconnected spirit feeds on reasoning that that closes off our spirits to the voice and the word of god that's what it does it it disconnects us from god disconnected from the spirit of the lord your the thing that's gotten you in trouble is your pride he just got you in trouble is your lust don't be blaming it on me so many i've discovered so many people their spirits and their hearts and ears have become deaf to the voice and the word of god because they have become eroded over by religion and not only religion but by personal feelings and this is the big one by offenses [Applause] when you get offended by something in church that's you give the enemy the opportunity to erode the connection that you have with god where you no longer want to be in the presence of god you would rather be in the present that makes you comfortable [Applause] the disconnect raises up pride in us and we get the spirit of what you don't want to do what i won't do rises up in us i'll tell you something i i hate that spirit i hate that spirit i hate that spirit i hate when i see it i can smell it sometime on people i can smell it i smell it on people sometime i smell it on people sometimes lord help me to jesus name lord jesus help me tell me don't but but when people are offended on something especially those who get offended in church the first thing that happens when people get offended in church is pride rises up they say stuff like i ain't got to take that you're not going to do that to me oh help me or you'd be surprised how many saints of the most high god experience this this thing called being offended and the problem is they don't know what to do when they get or become offended they don't know what to do and they they don't they don't humble themselves they let pride rise lord jesus how they let pride rise up yeah you see that's why i've come to understand humility cannot survive in that type of atmosphere when you allow yourself to to be eroded by an office y'all know what i'm talking about you know when you allow yourself somebody didn't say right words to you somebody didn't speak to you they didn't even see you you thought you was the only one coming to church walking through the door you see here's what i've discovered if you really want to find out where somebody is at you want to know where they're at in their spirit all you have to do is give a word of correction you want to know where people live in their lives and their minds and their souls in their hearts give them some correction it will always reveal pride or humility correction will reveal either pride or humility i'm not talking to y'all i'm just looking at y'all i'm talking to y'all too it will it will awaken pride or it will awaken humility it reveals it it reveals it it shows it up when you get corrected because you didn't like what was happening proverbs told us proof of instruction are the way of life proverbs chapter 9 you're going to read it tells us to reprove not a a schoner lest he hate thee oh my god rebuke a wise man and he will love thee what the bible says if you rebuke a wise man he'll love you that's the word son but escorter he will hate you because he don't understand what's really going on [Music] the bible says give instruction to a wise man and he will be yet wiser teacher just man the bible says and he will increase in learning get away from these stupid if correction and instruction is coming from a source listen to this it's coming from a source that is not trying to tear you down but trying to tear down wrong behaviors and wrong directions and wrong ideas and wrong justifications if correction and instruction is coming from a source that is not attacking you as a person but simply revealing behaviors that undermine your personal success then bless god stupid you ought to embrace that you ought to embrace it embrace it like gold embrace it like love embrace it embrace it embrace it like a hot chocolate molten lava fudge cake with vanilla ice cream on top in other words give an ear to the voice give an end to the voice of correction i don't know i don't know who this is for i don't know who this is for somebody's watching and you got all offended because somebody tried to help your little narrow self somebody tried to show you that you were walking in the wrong direction they didn't come to kill you they tried to help your little self lord jesus help me tonight i don't know this i don't know i don't know where this is going but a lot of folks aren't fighting demons but they're fighting accountability they're fighting responsibility they're fighting submission they're fighting humility ain't no demon it's their own self that they're help us tonight lord proverbs chapter 9 verse 6 forsake this is what the bible says in chapter 9 verse 6 of proverbs it says forsake foolishness and live and go in the way of understanding i'm just trying to give you some understanding about your discipleship shame on you if you can't take instructions that's based on your appearance from that which is in you as a disciple of jesus christ you see because real disciples will take correction fake disciples will get upset and get mad come on i'm leaving the church we'll leave i know did i say leave no i'm not i'll take that back don't leave get delivered don't you go nowhere sit your tail right up in here and learn how to live with god's people and live with the ones that correct you live with the ones that kind of rubs you the wrong way people get up get out of order and then think preacher myself had an attitude you get an attitude with me when some correction is given to you shame on you shame on you yeah she warned you no one puts money in a in a vending machine when it's that there's a sign on the outside of the vending machine that says out of order foolish for you to put money in a machine that you read in the sign that says out of order let me put this money in there and then you want to hit it then you want to kick it then you want to abuse it silly person well you're a foolish person because nobody puts money on the vending machine that's tells you it's out of order so how much more will god jesus hear you all out of order god is not responsible than putting stuff in you if you all out of order why would god put something in you when you're out of order but the lord gonna bless me anyhow no hey so [Applause] so what we got to do is we got to get connected right we got to get the right connection somebody's helped me say the right connection come on help me say say the right connection i'm almost done say the right connection y'all say the right connection say the right come on shout the right connection the right connection yeah some of these connections you got with some of the people you're hanging out with is the wrong connection you hanging out with the wrong crowd the wrong person my god you know it you feel it you don't always feel your best when you're around them because they got the wrong you making wrong decisions based on the bad connection you have going on my god why don't you get around some smart people get around smart people see smart people will tell you the truth you need to get around some truthful people you don't need to get around some people that would just give you what you want and say what you want them to say do what you want them to do no you need somebody that will rock your world a little bit come on somebody somebody say lord help me help me help me no don't say lord help me because he'll send you some help he'll send you somebody that will make you feel like you have been abused because they're just bringing you some correction but because you let your pride get in the way humility steps out of the way donna linville says and i quote she says this your sense of sin is the is in proportion to your nearness of god your sense of sin is in proportion to your nearness to god your sense of sin when i read that that bless my life i went when i read that i went to repent because if ever i feel like i'm not as close to god as i want to be i have to then check out my sin realm the further you get from god ah you ain't gonna like this the father you get from god the further i get from god the more comfortable i get around sin [Applause] that's how it works y'all you you you talking man i can't sin no more no no you've been around it so much now that it has it has disconnected you from your god that now you're comfortable with it and when you get comfortable with something called sin you give every reason for it to be in happening in your life you make excuses for it you you wrap it up a little bit here you turn it over a little bit you make it make sense based on your condition matter of fact you go as far as to blame stuff around you for the sin that's going on in you where did we get this from on this thursday night why don't we just have a good howdy howdy holy holy service [Music] when when king david watched this when king david was connected to god he was dancing in the courtyard with all his might he was dancing and coming out of his clothes dang it before the presence of the lord he dates before the presence of the lord he does i need somebody to to remember the presence of the lord before the presence of the lord he danced but when he was disconnected from the presence he's hanging out on the rooftop in the wrong place at the wrong time and then if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time watch this you will ultimately cultivate the sin that's crouched down at your door now y'all didn't get that if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time you are still growing something you got to understand when you disconnect from god you're connecting to something else no human being just exists outside of stuff we exist based on our connection so when you lose your connection with god you connect yourself with something else and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time just in the presence of the lord but being in the wrong place at the wrong time just in the presence of the lord but being in the wrong place at the wrong time he began to cultivate the lust that ultimately led to murder i need somebody to shout we got to get connected right somebody ought to shout on the other side in your home say i gotta get connected again i need to i need to get connected and i need to figure out how to stay connected i got to get connected i got to figure out how how to stay connected when we're not connected we allow the horizontal to affect the vertical too often when when god wanted to create fish he spoke to the sea when god wanted to create trees he spoke to the earth but when god wanted to create man my god he said wait a minute let's turn him into who we are he turned to himself when he made man he turned to himself the bible says and he breathed the breath of life into man and they became a living soul the scriptures say we were made in the image of god if if you take a fish out of water it will die if you take him out of water he'll die if you take him out of the water he'll die and when you remove a tree from soil it will die it will help me jesus only jesus he will die it will die likewise when men and man is disconnected uh from god he dies a spiritual death and a physical death physically remember god breathed a breath of life into man and he became a living soul so when you stop breathing when you no longer have breath your physical body becomes disconnected and you die throw your arm at somebody's hand and say don't die around me no no don't be dying around me i need you to keep on breathing the breath of jesus i need you to let the breath of god keep moving in your life in your soul in your mind in your body in your eyes in your ears in your hands in your feet the breath of god needs to be all around you inside of you everywhere everywhere until god becomes cannot exist i cannot live outside of that we breathe and we have our he says we have our very being thank you jesus and a child shall lead them thank you baby so to live spiritually we have to be connected to him because it is only in him that life exists so when i crucify my flesh when i have done the dirty hard work of bible reading when i do the work of praying when i do the work of fasting when i do the work of of submitting myself to the will and the purpose of the plan of god through the word of god when i turn my plate down when i discover that i need to spend more time with jesus than i do on social media when i discovered these things it becomes for me a discipline and what it needs to do is discipline your flesh so that on sunday morning you get up and go to church oh oh so you discipline yourself until you oh until when thursday night rolls around you get up and go to church you do that because you're connected right and your flesh is not running the show the breath of jesus is running the show and the thing that you desire more than anything else is to be in his presence i don't know about you but for me and i think this is what happened what happens to us marie i think what happens to us is that when we desire more of the presence of the lord there is that desire to move in the presence of god from our spirit and not from our flesh that's what happens to us folks don't understand that we worship leaders that's what happens to us that's the reason why we can keep doing this week after week and we don't get tired of it because we we value the presence of the lord so much so that it has rearranged some hunger in us it has rearranged some desire in us and come on somebody there is a passion that swells up within us ah i don't know about y'all but the reason why i could i do what i do is because i got a hunger i gotta hunger for something more than a worship service [Music] i hunger for something more than just being able to just preach any kind of i hunger for more anybody want more anybody want more i want it until i get a new experience the fresh presence of jesus now for me i value the importance of a god connection in my life not just a religious ritual connection but the power of the holy ghost connection the spirit of the lord connection flowing that spirit flowing in my spirit that spirit bears witness with my spirit not only my spirit but it connects with my heart my heart begins to pant after the presence of jesus more than my necessary foods i want it more than my oh enlightening you i want him for me jesus said he that believeth on me as the scripture have said out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water and this he spake of the spirit that they that believe on him should receive i don't know about y'all but every time i come i'm coming for the spirit of the lord i'm not coming to impress you i'm not coming to make you do what you think you ought to do but i've come to because i want to be in his presence and i can't be in his presence without his spirit so i'm looking first of all for where the spirit is but where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty there's freedom i can't be stuck i can't be jacked up i can't be messed up i can't be burdened i can't be broken if i'm in the spirit that gives me life and that more abundantly yeah i close baby you better come d.a carson writes and i quote they write people do not drift toward holiness apart from grace driven effort people do not gravitate toward even godliness they don't gravitate toward prayer not anymore obedience to scripture not anymore even to faith not anymore and and they no longer delight in the lord we drift toward a compromise and now we call compromise tolerance we drift toward disobedience and call it freedom bishop you can't tell me what to do you can't tell me that i gotta walk circumspectly you can't tell me now i gotta obey my spirit i gotta obey what my life wants because you can't bind me up i gotta be free free y'all gonna judge me for this and i don't really care but free will cause you to oh jesus was i thinking that some the wrong freedom makes you look like a freak i knew it was going to get quiet because it was it was back here you started acting freaky weird yeah that's that's what happened to some people that's what happens when we start exchanging the truth for a lie we drift toward like that connection you know honestly i won't lie guys sometimes the lights and the cameras it can get a little distracting but there are moments where in the midst of praise and worship i really just have to close my eyes and really focus on the words of the songs and i'm like well god any song that i sing any word that comes out of my mouth it's coming to you it's going right to you when we're singing um there's nobody like you i have to reflect on that you know i start to think well god there really is nobody like you and if there was somebody like you then you wouldn't be god and i wouldn't be able to rely on you and that's just not possible wow oh yeah wow yes i mean it's so important and and we're so glad that you stay connected with us and we understand that there are some people that are just are either not ready to come back or you're in maybe you might be sick and you can't your way of college right have you graduated already i look so young you look so young oh i am so there you might be away at college i know i know i've i have children that are in college and they tune in and so the connection is the most important thing that bishop is driving home and sunday's message along with this message you know if you're not coming why right that's that's an important question to answer and then if you're not able to come how are you keeping that connection solid with god i mean that is it's all i can say is that uh i will be listening to this message again the great thing about technology is that we can we can continue to watch it over and over and over again
