yes the bible says that we should get rest i was just following the bible [Music] he making you to lie down in green pastures and leave you besides still waters and on the sand and the sand and the saints reigns of sin look at god oh god but i'm back you're back listen welcome you're back too uh if you're joining us for the first time this is uh pastor angel i'm elder nade uh we're we're uh we run the a church we're yeah part of the east georgia this is the plug-in show yes this is what happens at the beginning of our services uh all the time and so uh we're grateful that you decided to never been there no i've never welcome jennifer welcome welcome it's good to see you um so what are we doing today today is youth sunday yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes sunday so you're gonna see the youth dance um with judah we have jude alliance our dance team youth dance team is called judah lions they're going to be doing praise and worship we're going to have prayer for the kids and the faculty going back to school as well oh beautiful we'll be praying for your children so you may want to wake them up have them in a room with you so that we can pray for them because we want god to cover them as they go back yes and uh we had youth night live this if you if you missed it just go back and you can replay it right you can replay it on our website at alfwc.org youtube youtube that's it that's it and so please please it was an incredible incredible word came forth our youth were very involved and my nephew brought the word chad beautiful you got your family all involved in this yes this is going to be like soon they'll be like well that might so anyway angels shall see the angels i don't have a takeover spirit but did you notice that nate was in the spirit because his jacket my pants are the same color and black and white yes i think we were separated at birth all right let's get started okay it is your sunday it's you sunday so please get ready for an incredible service today um i am so blessed to have our pastor angel has been a youth pastor for here you're here for how many years 17 17 i think my children have been under her tutelage so many children have been under her tutelage and uh when i tell you this is an incredible youth pastor thank you so i'm glad that you're here i got to ask you some questions i wrote some notes down some questions i wanted to ask you because um the kids are going back to school and there is a lot of anxiety around you know going back to school what that means you know sometimes the kids are not necessarily responding the way they normally would have responded right if they were in school or you're kind of dealing with their friends on a full-time basis so i the question i wanted to to ask you today is what advice would you give to parents that are concerned about their child's mental health okay well first let me say that some kids are very very happy to go back because they didn't like their parents as teachers and then i was a heart teacher other children right there's there's fear and anxiety of what they hear on the news what they hear their parents talking about but i encourage every parent to pray i know it seems like a small thing but every morning i used to pray with my children before we went to uh before they went to school when i went to work right and sometimes we woke up late and we didn't have time for a long prayer and to this day sometimes we always said okay at least get your lunch thank you jesus for this day and they had to say thank you jesus for this day acknowledge god every morning and so pray over them if you have oil anoint them [Music] the little fears that they have i was reading this uh devotional and it says yes we're gonna have fear yes we're gonna have anxiety but if we focus on god through all of it he'll get us through it and that's how we teach our kids how to deal with it yeah focus on god not the the thing that we're fearing right so pray for them every morning yeah you gotta listen we have to pray for our children and um one of the things that that we're battling with with this covet 19 are there are two sides of every story and so you have some parents that are saying oh i don't want my kid to wear a mask oh i do want my child to wear a mask and so uh there are some you know in the state of new jersey the governor has put down some particular particular regulations regarding that and that that's good and there are parents that are very much concerned about the effects of mask wearing and so that's you know that's a real deal right so that's a real concern but my four-year-old grandson goes to daycare and he wears a mask wow and so all day and we were in the car he was with me a couple weeks ago and i said you want to take your mask off he said i'm good so the kids who are just going to school they've adjusted to it yes you know i was in california as hot as i don't know what but i wore a mask outside i was on venice beach it was a lot of crazy stuff and i wore mask outs hot and you adjust to it so if you don't want that there are home school curriculums that you can homeschool your children but please don't be like i saw this man on the news he went to the school every day my daughter's going to come she's not going to wear a mask sir a homeschooler right because if the governor if they're saying to to wear the mask wear the mask teach your kids to wear the mask it protects them it protects you because now kids are the carriers yes they're giving it to adults right right and we want to be and we want to always listen we're not we're not fearful you know we we have faith we believe and we obey the laws of the land obey the laws of the land and you know and we just we have to use wisdom right we have to use the best that the best wisdom that we know how so this is you know for our kids we are you know we have the school back to school drive this past weekend where they get the backpacks out i mean it was so good to see the kids right out and and so then [Music] we're getting we're getting to a place where whatever the normal is going to be it's going to be right so we have to take the time and let the time let that be the let god kind of deal with the time and the way he was yes absolutely that's that's we don't want to rush god we don't want to rush our kids uh but we want to do the best that we can and we want them to be safe yes so pray for your teacher your children's teachers yes pray for the principals the the the other kids right pray for the bullies you know what i mean even if your child's the bully you know pray for yourself my child the bully pray for your children but but yes prayer is key and talking to them and teaching them because we want the schools to teach our children but right we teach our children we do you know i taught my children how to sing and dance and stuff and so and so i taught them about god as well i taught them how to pray through difficult times and and so okay i have a quick story my son was going to like third or fourth grade and it was a new school and they were having initiation oh and he was nervous his stomach was momma i don't want to go to school they're gonna they're gonna initiate me i'm like let's pray let's pray we pray then at the end of the prayer though he said can i call nana like he wanted to get another prayer too but he called his nana and she prayed and so i was so nervous and when he got home i'm like what happened he's like what happened oh mom i think they forgot god made him forget wow god is good all the time yes he is yes listen and that's a good point because as we send our children back to school prayer is so important yes and you may adopt this practice of getting a little some oil yes and putting some oil on your child's forehead or top of their head i mean you may not you know they may not they fight you don't put a lot don't put a lot don't make it obvious i pour it on my kids but you want prayer it helps it really does do and it does it does it does very well for us so do you want to pray for the kids yes i'm going to be praying during the service for the kids but god we pray for every child going back to school against anxiety against bullying against covet 19 in jesus name jesus name so we're getting ready to have service are you ready for something i'm ready i'm ready for something so we need you to share share the service share share share share the likes type in there all right god bless you we love you we'll see you after the service jesus [Music] what a beautiful name jesus so much sweeter than honey we just call on your name today jesus there's no other name that needs to be lifted up by your name jesus [Music] we just call on you this morning we invite you into this place we invite your presence jesus we will not start until you go before us god so we call on your sweet name your precious name and we call on you knowing who you are god you are alpha and omega you are the beginning and the end god you are jehovah you're an awesome genie in a bottle then when we call on your name you grant us three wishes but you are god so we thank you father that when we call on your name mountains move when we call on your name god the ocean's part we thank you father we thank you that when we call on your name all things remain new so we thank you father that we have the ability to say your name without fear and so forgive us god when we use your name any other way forgive us god when we use your name in vain when we use your name thinking that when we just say it god you will grant it father because when we say your name we say your name knowing that you are our father you are our friend you are our savior you are who we need you are to be because you are the great i am so we thank you father that we lift up your name today we lift up your name ending this month we lift up your name ending this season we lift up your name going to a new month we lift up your name going into a new season god we lift up your name going into a new academic year we lift up your name knowing that you are with us by our side you are walking with us we lift up your name knowing that you go before us preparing a place scott we go before god we walk with your name knowing that you stand in our rear car and father you are protecting us so father we lift up your name wanting to just reconnect with you god we need to reconnect with who you are so i thank you father that in this moment and in this time we come before your presence connecting and saying father we open the door jesus welcome into our place we heard your knock and so we open the door god we won't let you stand outside anymore but we let you in god so forgive us father that we got comfortable in this season forgive us father that we got too comfortable being separated from you separated from our brethren god so we thank you that in this moment we declare now we say now we reconnect now we come together and now we come back to your presence so we thank you father that you receive us back with open arms as we come into your presence that you do not turn us away but you believers to join with me in prayer on behalf of our nation and not just our region but mexico new orleans coastal cities and that they're under the threat of this ida lord have mercy lord have mercy lord you can turn this wind this rain you can turn it around lord you can you can turn it and send it out to the seas so that homes families loved ones communities can be saved lord have mercy have mercy god have mercy lord you said if my people which are called by your name would humble ourselves and pray seek your face turn from our wicked ways you would we would hear from heaven and you would heal the land we are asking you lord as a body of prayer warriors to heal this land lord we're asking you to save property save these homes somehow lord have mercy there's some elderly people who are in in these homes that may be affected by it lord save them and cover them in the name of jesus lord all we can do is cry out to you all we can do is trust you all we can do is believe in you and we know that you are the god of mercy and grace so lord we just speak in faith turn this ida in another direction every every form of hurricane they say it's going to be a catastrophe lord have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy lord have mercy god have mercy mercy even upon america lord these here united states lord have mercy on us and hear the cries of the righteous hear the cries of your people this morning around this country around the world lord hear the cries of your people even all the way in kabul lord lord have mercy and while we while we are in the midst of end times lord you said there will be wars and rumors of wars yet in the midst of the wars would you have mercy on souls would you have mercy on lies would you let your kingdom come or let your will be done on this earth as it already is in heaven and lord god i ask you today to give us daily bread give us the bread from heaven feed us feed us with bread from heaven oh god until glory comes until fear is removed until trusts come and doubt is removed lord do your bidding today lord have your way today in the mighty name of jesus we pray lord god's people shout hallelujah can i get you to lift up a shout of praise at this house can i get you to praise the lord in your homes wherever you are on your jobs wherever you are on your phones on your computers wherever you are would you lift up a shot of praise don't be bashful don't be ashamed come on come on bless the lord bless the lord with the fruit of your lips bless the lord come on bless the lord come on with that hunger that you have for jesus let it be reflected in your praise for him and let everything that has breath praise the name of the lord praise ye the lord praise the lord everybody praise the lord praise the lord everybody i will bless the lord at all times and his brain shall continually be in my mouth my soul shall make his most in the lord the humbles are here thereof and be glad oh magnify glory amen for your [Music] i feel the staring in the spirit come on i feel the staring i feel the fresh oil of the anointing of the holy ghost being applied to our lives even while you're in your homes there's a oil being poured upon you today by the glory of god by the will of god by the purpose of god by the plan of god by the awesomeness of god hallelujah glory glory glory glory glory glory do you want another outpour [Music] hey guys we got to be willing and i know this is going to sound real strange but we got to be willing to pay the price and command our flesh to die and this video about kosher and the spirit of the lord to rise up within us come on let's declare these words let god arise declare it again say god arise and enemies be scattered say god arise come on say arise in me say arise around me say arise through me in jesus name hallelujah [Music] all i care all i can hear in my spirit right now is i keep hearing these words in my spirit jesus is real i know he's real to me jesus is real i know he's real to me songs of worship songs of praise makes him real prayer makes him real in me i know we can't run up against one another can't touch one another but i need you to find somebody maybe a little hand just extend it and uh just wave it at somebody and say say i know he's real in me yeah you can't make me doubt him i know too much about him jesus is real i know he's real two three we gotta go take it away amen how many thank god you serve a real god amen you may be seated in the presence of the lord if you've ever had an experience with god you will know that he is real he is a good good father and we love him on today we praise god for all of you that are in person here at abundant life and those that are online with us we thank god for another sunday that god has blessed us i need you to put your hands together and give god praise for another day for another sunday for another morning yes that god has blessed us and he has kept us all right i'm going to keep it together because every time i think of the goodness of the lord i will give god a ridiculous praise did i say every time i'm looking out here today and i'm seeing some faces and i'm saying god has been good to us and so we're grateful and we are thankful on today today we celebrate the king and we thank god for jesus and we celebrate each and every one of you that are with us this morning and also we want to give a special shout out to our youth on today let's celebrate our youth let's thank god for their lives for the keeping power of almighty god that's upon them and we thank god for all that he is doing in the life of our youth and today we're just going to have some different expressions um when i say expressions that we want to extend to our youth we have a special prayer and we believe in god as they prepare to go back to school that god will cover them and protect them amen amen and i just want to say to all of you that have children i encourage you to get some oil and anoint them as they prepare to go out to school and you know we grew up they would anoint us every day praise scott you being be in the line getting ready to get the oil poured on you praise god but it was something about our faith and our belief in god that he would cover us and shield us and so that is a part of what this service looks like today and we are excited about receiving the word of the lord and we just was blessed by that worship experience amen thank you young people thank you thank you thank you thank you for our youth our ministry leaders um all of it is what's happening here and also we want to just say at the very top as we talk about our youth we will resume ours our zoom uh church um i'm sorry i zoom youth sessions that usually be held on sunday at one o'clock it will resume on the second sunday in september september the 12th so we encourage you to have your children on the zoom so they can continue to connect with one another and if you didn't get a chance to listen uh to thursday night or be here i want you to go back and check out last thursday night service our bishop brought a word now he always bring a word but he talked about connection and how important our connection is with god so i admonish you and i encourage you to go back and listen to it and it's going to bless your life it's going to bless your soul also just classes orientation will begin on september the 29th we believe that this foundation is so important for you as you prepare for marriage we think that marriage is wonderful and it is but it's worked i don't know how many married couples say it's work i need you to stay a little bit louder it's work all right but how many know it's worth it all right get excited on a worthy part amen amen oh i just thank god oh for just marriages in the house and how god has blessed our marriages whatever we have faced we were able to withstand every challenge because we had a good foundation so we're encouraging all couples that are getting ready for marriage and make sure you make um yourself available to these classes orientation again is on september 29th also we have a new date and a time for our new members and our growth track classes even for our existing members if you would like to come this is a zoom also it will be held on tuesday nights beginning september the 7th also our sunday school is moving to 8 00 a.m adult sunday school come on let's get excited about sunday school okay yes that's those of us that grew up in sunday school but sunday school is made available for you as well this is for the adult class and then the zoom is for our children at one o'clock on the second sunday in september but it will be um it will begin at 8 00 a.m sunday school beginning on september 5th all classes will convene on zoom so make sure that you um register as well online it's gonna be a great time just learning learning the word the bible says study to show thyself approve unto god a workman that need not be ashamed but rightly dividing the word the word of truth that god gives us so you need to come and be in an environment where you can grow and not have to feel like oh i don't want nobody looking at me funny listen it's everybody's growing together amen so come on and be a part also on this upcoming tuesday night i'm sorry tuesday morning at 11 a.m we will have a memorial service here for one of our dear beloved sweet sisters here at the house of worship here at abundant life tracy gray has transitioned and she is with the lord amen and her family have asked that they can have a memorial service here and some of you see her beautiful face on the screen she was a faithful member here at the 8 a.m service she said right here on the left-hand side same seat every sunday came to church on time and was very committed to being a part of this local church and those of you that candice come and support the family again that is this upcoming tuesday august the 31st at 11 a.m it will be stream so please those who that can come let's come and let's be a blessing to the family also this morning we want to give special thanks here at abundant life this is a great house because of the great people that are in this house and during this time of the pandemic and yes we are still in it but we know that there was that crucial time when we didn't know what was happening but we would still continue pressing this um small essential group that would come and help and make sure things ran smoothly so this morning we want to give a special shout out to all of our abundant life screeners all of the screeners that came every thursday night every sunday morning they were here screening us and checking us and making sure that this was remaining a safe environment for us we thank you we we thank you the men and women of god that came out to serve in this house and so we want to say thank you that was from november 2020 to august 2021 they have been serving so we appreciate all of them and all of the people that work and whether with security or and media sound wherever you cameras we say thank you we can never um we always say that um what's the word baby help me out genuine gratitude is never satisfied and so we will continue to say thank you i had a senior moment did y'all catch it okay but i got it back real fast praise god hallelujah and we want to continue to say thank you thank you thank you for everyone that served here at abundant life and again we appreciate everything that you do here and listen this morning we want to just say thank you um even on yesterday we were able to serve our community and we say thank you to everyone that was able to go out and serve and help also we want to say thank you to our great commission ministry that went out and they were witnessing and we got the report that one soul got saved i need somebody to rejoice the angels in heaven rejoice over one soul yes lord and also they was sharing and the seed was being watered they was dropping seeds the word of the lord amongst the people that they came in contact with on yesterday and so we are excited about lives being changed as we see the times that we're living in we must be about the kingdom agenda so we're going to continue to be a blessing to those who do not know christ and those who do know christ we want to continue to encourage them and let them know that they can make it because god is their source so please keep all the announcements in mind and this morning we want to just prepare for our time of giving on this this very moment in time how many love to give amen how many know that it's a blessing in giving amen and i just want to say this morning if some of you as you came in and you was in pulled up in the front parking lot how many like that nice smooth payment that was on the parking lot this morning come on somebody amen we say thank you a few years ago we had asked the members of abundant life to sow that seed so we can get the parking lots paid the front parking lot and then the back um parking lot will be paid shortly this year as well and this want you to know we were the finances that you gave us we made sure that it was allocated for just what we said we would do and so we got the front parking lot done and the back is going to be coming shortly so we thank god for your giving your tithes your offerings amen that you give every sunday and because you gave we were able to serve again and get book bags and just give things away and give food away it is because of your giving that the house of god is able to to be clean every time you come in here that's right it's nice and fresh and clean every week we make sure that everything is taken care of it's because of your giving that we're taking care of the storehouse this is the house of god amen and we don't we're not no shabby ministry here that's right we have the spirit of excellence that's why we're 30 years strong here at abundant come on somebody i need you to get a little bit more excited about us giving here at abundant life sowing our tithes giving our all friends and we thank god for all of you that have just continually been faithful and sowing your seed and those who that are online and watching on youtube just sowing your seeds some of you some people are just you know viewers and as they like what they nothing broken in their lives this week will be a fresh new week of reward of harvest thank you for the obedience of your people those that will sow a seed today god i pray that you'll return it in optimum return not just 40 not just 60 not just a hundred but optimum return unto every giver in the name of jesus father i thank you in advance for witty inventions father i thank you for those who are made investments not just outside of this church but invested in this church lord you're going to cause things to happen on behalf of their homes on behalf of their vision their dreams their desires lord the husband the wife the children blessings be poured out upon them in the name of jesus god you're going to make us rich no sorrow in the name of jesus thank you for this now and everything everybody everybody in this house those of you that are watching would you shout the praises of god for your harvest for your return for your harvest for your return come on this was a shout out for your harvest thank you for your return thank you for my harvest every bill's gonna be paid thank you for my harvest tuition is gonna be paid thank you hallelujah financial miracles and breakthroughs will happen in the name of jesus hallelujah bless the lord so it is and so shall it be so shall it be according to your faith and your confession amen your faith yes and your confession amen your faith your faith and your confession your confession in the lord jesus christ it will be done i'm sorry baby i'm taking i'm slowing it down a little because i really believe that some financial miracles is going to take place i believe it lisa i believe it i believe it do y'all believe that god can heal your finances yes yes and what he'll do is while he's healing your finances he'll heal your body he'll heal your life thank you lord because you do know that when you are living in lack it causes this ease all right disease come on that's it teach bishop frustration that's right frustration aggravation it creates sickness in your body that's right that's why y'all got to get that breakthrough yeah i know the hand of the lord is upon you and we know that the word of god is going to come up on your life but there's a responsibility that is incumbent upon you that is to sow a seed that is to give that is the plant that is to give of your gift give of your talents give it to give it to whoever wherever you can sow it so that you can reap the bible is clearly god is not a man that he's not a god that he should be mocked whatsoever man so with that shall he also reap it's going to heal your body it's going to heal your marriage lack cannot live in your house i don't know who that was for right that was for somebody specifically i need you all to just declare lack will never live in my house as a matter of fact father i pray that you'll make every person under the sound of my voice to be givers to be givers to give give love give mercy give grace give restoration give give give give give give i pray the anointing of giving to be upon us hallelujah because those that give will always get well biblically speaking you sow it you shall reap you so you and you pass people all the time if you got an envelope you got a seed you want to run it to this altar right now in the name of jesus you got your mask on just keep don't talk to nobody just bring it lay it on the altar and go going back to your seat like you would go to the grocery store go down every aisle passing all kinds of people and you don't know them people you know the people in this house the people in this house are covered by the blood of jesus hello somebody come on any covered people covered by the blood hey daughter god bless your daughter bless you son bless your daughter access more after you pay your bills you need to have you need to start at having a hundred thousand dollars in your bank account and then you go to 200 000 then you go to 300 i ain't got nobody to believe with me then you go to 400 000 then you go to 500 000 then to 600 000 and then 700 000 then 800 000 then 900 000 what's next y'all can't even say it what's next [Applause] may you be found in the right place at the right time may the right people connect with you may the wisdom of god flow from you in the direction of your increase may the wisdom of god flow through you in the level in the magnificent appearance of favor be upon the people favor that's not fair favor favor favor may you find favor favor favor on your jobs favor in the marketplace favor favorite favor favor favor favor lord the right people the right the right investments the right ones the right ones the right ones right ones lord teach us how money flows teach us how its currency is current flows in the name of jesus young people young people you're not too young you're just at the right age come on you can get a hold of this when we're praying for finances and money you get a hold of it i don't care if you're broken busted and disgusted as you've ever been in your life you ain't got no money all you got is a quarter in your pocket when the word of the lord comes when the anointing flows in this direction grab a hold of it say to yourself i will not live the rest of my life out being broke not having resources not having the means that i know i should have so i can live oh hallelujah okay i'm i'm really going in the wrong direction here as far as the timing of the church but but i just believe god for y'all you guys are too anointed i'm gonna say this and i know you're gonna be mad with me baby where you at you're not pulling my jacket because i walked away from you somebody look at your neighbor tell them you too anointed to be broke the bible says the anointing teaches you of all things you're too anointed to be broke you got you've got the wisdom of god functioning in you you what and then he gives you witty inventions he gives you creativity in your creation you didn't have that dream about that thing for no reason so father i speak and declare courage to rise up in the midst of the people of god courage to move forward in that dream in that desire in that aspiration in that gift in that creativity come on and listen for some of you you tried it before and it didn't work try it again keep on moving keep on doing what you believe you you've been qualified by god to do keep on i pray for every business person every entrepreneur in the name of jesus if you're an entrepreneur would you stand right now hallelujah priest jesus christ we didn't rehearse this y'all holly i got to tell you this we didn't rehearse let's pray go ahead you pray father we thank you thank you for every vision that you have placed inside of them lord and we pray god that you will bless them lord you said that the blessing of the lord will make rich and add no sorrow to their lives god for the invention that you placed in them god we pray that it will come to fruition god we thank you right now for their step of faith to move yes god out and trust you lord so you know every business owner god you know every business that's in their heart you know every business that have been established god so we pray god that you will cause finances to come and support the vision god we thank you that you will give them lord even the business plan and put the right people around them god and we come against fear we come against worry we come against intimidation and we thank you that they are men and women of faith they're faith walkers god and they trust you god and we thank you right now for the blessings to be on their business in jesus name i need you just to wave your hand that's all of you that are business owners that's right god sees you that's right hello holy spirit that's right oh bless their businesses god each and every one of them god bring the people in lord that's gonna oh yes by their products god thank you lord jesus even as they make proposals god you're gonna give them lord the favor as they talk to the people we thank you for this now and we say it is so in jesus name we're in a realm right now breathe on us i need you to get this today i need to stay with me stay with me y'all um um the word of the lord is going to come in just a minute we're going to pray for the kids in just a minute but we're in a we're in a do you sense a realm right now of the presence of jesus in regarding your finances can i just say this some of your secret victories are about to be exposed you didn't get that some of your secret victories the little victories that you've been experiencing are is about to come to the forefront god's about to expose you because of the victories that you've already had oh god i don't know if that i don't know if that makes any sense what were you what did the lord tell you what the lord spoke to you and saying praise the pushed lord my spirit that some of you you're frustrated in what you're doing now because you shouldn't be doing that some of you some of you you have not come to the place where you've been fulfilled in that business right now or that job right now because you're doing what you shouldn't be doing here's what the holy ghost said to me for some of you in this room for some of you in this room the plan the foundation has already been laid you remember when isaac genesis 26 he went and he reclaimed the wells his father abraham had already dug up they had been shut up and closed up time had passed along isaac just merely went back and reclaimed those wells and the holy ghost says some of you the plan has already been laid for you the wells have already been dug for you you just need to go and reclaim what your father what what what your mentor has already laid the foundation for and the reason why you're frustrated is because you already know this but for some reason you might be thinking this inaccessible to you but the holy ghost is opening the wells up for you today he's making the play the way the way playing and straight for you to get everything you need and to have a surplus for you to be a blessing so listen i know you thought that you weren't supposed to walk into that business that your mother or your father laid out but guess what the holy ghost is saying it's yours it's yours some of you you got that recipe from grandmama and mama because god wanted you to do something with it it's yours some of you you you you mess around with technology so much because of your parents god is saying is yours so go reclaim the wells that have already been dug for you and god says that the surplus that is going to come your way is going to be more than enough to bless not just your family but your community and this world anybody believe that world anybody listen listen i don't want you just clapping just to be clapping anybody in this house that that really touches in your spirit i want you to lift your hands and thank god for reclaiming the wells that have already been set for you hallelujah hallelujah i break the back of the enemy in regards to your family poverty i come against the generational curse of poverty lack in the name of jesus i break the patterns of not understanding how to spin and how to save how to spin how to save break that negative pattern in the name of jesus and i speak and decree and declare that your mind will flow like money flows currency current i release those wells [Laughter] what you gonna do now what you gonna do now as the spirit of the lord moves upon the altars of your heart and your soul he moves you into another you know another category yeah and don't be afraid it may move you into another tax bracket but always know the taxes come because of the income the more you make the more taxes you got to pay so be okay with that i don't know who that's for be okay with that still do what's right amen hallelujah father i release the spirit of humility to fall upon the people of god because as they move to this next level lord don't let pride and arrogance rise up within the people but cause us to always be humble before you so that you can use this for your kingdom and for your glory in the name of jesus you can say that i mean you you that have businesses you ought to be tithing from that business so the business can flourish and be blessed amen yeah yeah god is good and his mercy endures forever amen good ground i'm good ground pastor mary's good ground and the only reason why i said that just now because i noticed that somebody just sent me something thank you i received this in jesus name hallelujah into my storehouse oh glory to god i don't know i i like cash app and and i don't know about y'all but i'm starting to really like it hallelujah thank you jesus and just like something's happening with me i believe it happens to you as well the bible says he'll cause men to give unto your bosom and and the way that we're living in this day and hour it comes through cash moment in the service we want to say um thank you to all of our young people that are going to college that are preparing to go to college and have already gone to college we celebrate them this morning and these are the young people that are receiving scholarships from the abundant life family worship church the ronald reich scholarship and the greg squan scholarship goes to these seven young people and we celebrate them on today come on one more time for our young people higher education brilliant young men and women they're going to open up businesses they're going to have and we thank god for them and we thank you here at abundant we're able to give and sow into the life of these young people because a part of it is because of your giving and so we thank you again so much and this morning praise god bishop amen hallelujah amen we want to have a moment of prayer for our young people if you don't mind with their masks i'm getting the young people come to the altar at this moment pastor angel our wonderful amazing youth pastor along with dr lavetta ross we're going to pray for our children and also those of you in your seats if you are a teacher educator you work in the school system we want you to stand up that's right because we're going to pray over you and believe god to cover you amen come come children look at the children yes god's going to protect our children so hi hi hi everybody so good to see you this is dr loretta lavetta ross she's a principal and she's going to open up in prayer hallelujah thank you god you said you would never leave us on this lord and so right now i come praying for all the teachers the teachers assistants the professors the supervisors vice principals principals administration of the school lord god because when we went to school lord god to do what we do it did not prepare us for a time like this but lord we know that with you all things are possible and we know that you can lead and guide and direct our path father there's a lot that we have to do a lot that we've been doing and a lot of changes that come with this time that we're in so we ask lord god that you give us wisdom remove fear lord god false evidence appearing real and provide us with confidence to do this job that we have to do looking after our students our babies lord god father god touch the minds of all the educators touch the minds give them the know-how the right things to say at the right times to know when that student may need a little extra something lord god give it to him and father god touch us as educators lord god and remind us to take care of ourselves because we need self-care as well some of us are a little bit concerned about what's to come we're seeing everything and all the protests and different things that we have to deal with the changes and rules and regulations and procedures and policies mask and no mass father god touch us keep us strong lord god give us what we need lord god not just for ourselves but for our students and lastly father god we plead the blood of jesus on our bodies protect us from this virus lord god protect us from this virus give us that special extra anointing lord god that we have carry it not just for ourselves but those colleagues that we work with that may not know what that spirit is give us that anointing lord god we ask this in jesus name amen and god i pray for every child every young person that's going to school from daycare to preschool to kindergarten up through high school and college i pray against fear in the name of jesus they hear the news they hear their parents talking but i come against that anxiety in the name of jesus i pray god that they would learn to say the blood of jesus covers me i will not fear and god when fear starts to come i pray that they would focus on you focus on praying focus on doing the right thing i pray for clarity in their minds when they're doing their schoolwork i pray god that you would put the right friends around them i come against bullies in the name of jesus and anybody at this altar i come against the holy spirit inside of them and cast it out in jesus name god i pray for every parent that's worried that has to go to work and doesn't know what to do but i pray that the spirit of prayer would be in our household that we would pray with our children that we would teach our children how to pray that we would pray in the car pray getting dressed pray in the shower pray as we're brushing our teeth that we would pray that the power the power of god would rest rule and abide and keep our children safe great grace we speak in two existing scholarships for seniors in the name of jesus scholarships that they never know about help our children to be prepared to be successful in their education help our parents to be prepared to pray to anoint their children to pray to anoint their children to pray in the name of jesus in the name of jesus amen look at me look at me look at me let me just be very clear and very straight with you right now all of you that at the altar your children teenagers you have been whether you like it or not whether you can embrace it or not you have been hand picked by the creator god to be who you are and where you are god intentionally created you made you put breath in you spoke life to you he did it because he had an intention for your life you are not a mistake you're not a mistake you're not a mishap no you are a part of god's intention he intended for you to be alive right now so in your uniqueness in your magnificence and it's not to pump your head up but it's to give you an understanding of who you are you're fearfully and wonderfully made by god yes you are you're beautiful handsome debonair no you're peaceful you're calm you're cool and collective yeah you're somebody and i pray that you'll go through this next year because it's crazy out here in the world but god's got you you hear me god's got you when you feel happy when you feel sad god still got you so we love you we love you we love you i love you love you and we want you to succeed yes so take this prayer on the uh teachers and the administrators take this prayer that's the angel for the children for the kids for teenagers young adults even that are going to school take it and be blessed by it okay now i don't know how you know young people a little bit different than us old people young people like to you know they hang out with each other they touch each other and carry on so give one another high five and y'all go back to your seats in jesus name give them rich and out of no sorrow lord raise up millionaires property owners business-minded people in this congregation our children are young girls our young boys oh jesus do something miraculous well are you ready for the word of the lord it's time for the word of the lord i'm excited about always about the opportunity to share the gospel of jesus christ with you but i'm not doing that this is going to come when the harvest is going to come but you got to keep sowing seed please don't let anybody pigeonhole you to that job right i'm gonna get into the mess in just a second but i i just want to free you up today because i am the i am the i am uh i'm an entrepreneur um and it's sad because i do a million things uh i dreaming excites me um this t-shirt i got on hello a friend of mine i went to help him move he said take this heat press you need to you need to make a t-shirt i said i don't make no t-shirts what are you talking about man i took that thing i went on ahead tell your neighbor keep sewing i know i'm a preacher but you don't know what god has put on the inside of you that's what i'm i just want to encourage you today i just want to encourage you today to keep on showing keep on believing keep on dreaming that's what it's about keep on dreaming well listen listen listen listen let's come on back in i don't know um if you know this but over the next couple of weeks we're going to and there'll be a video that we're going to put out we're going to be talking about back to church there's something that um not just our church but the big c church that many churches are now jumping and being a part of this campaign and that campaign is a back to church campaign amen um but let's be honest i don't know what you think about when you when you hear the word church uh but i'm sure it's not it may not be what what it was supposed to be from the very beginning when you hear the word church um because church did not begin with books bans and bibles it didn't begin like this it began because a few people uh two things happened there was an event that we celebrate on easter resurrected savior jesus was resurrected from the dead and then number two there was an encounter that there were many people who encountered a resurrected savior a resurrected jesus and the bible says that that just a group of them they started to gather together uh and and they became this gathering from house to house and they began breaking bread with one another uh stay with me and and they became this gathering the the ecclesia the the gathering the congregation uh and then we know throughout history that the church has some very difficult and very dark days right we know through history and this is where some people kind of have have kind of ruined their faith and and learning about some history of the church um that uh that there were some dark days in the church and and the word of god was used not for the things of god but for for other reasons and other people had agendas but that's what happens when you put people in charge of what god is trying to do and and so it wasn't it wasn't god's plans that was wrong it was just that some of the people who became in charge of the church their plans got jacked up and they started turning things away from what god had desired for the church to be and and and there there were some rituals there were a lot of paganism there was a lot of things that was was introduced into this gathering and when you look at the word church it comes from from the word like church um church and it became uh in that word the church word means god's house and so from the very beginning many many years ago it went from the definition of ecclesia this this gathering this this holistic group of people that experienced and had an encounter with god and they and they decided to come together and link their lives together uh and and run together for for what they had encountered but then it went from this gathering this organic movement to the church and it like i said it has some dark days and and it began to turn around with william tyndale and he began to translate the bible and now and now the church many people were able to read the bible and history would go on to tell of how we got to where we are today as a church the reason why i said all of that is because whatever you thought about when you think about church for some of us it probably is not what god was thinking about when he thought about the gathering of the people of god for some of us when we think of church we think of pain we think of hurt we think of other people in the church that have hurt us but we're not thinking about the encounters and remembering of what god has done in the reason why we're here and the reason why we gather together and so today i just i just want to encounter that question that some of you may have as we're talking about coming back to church and answering the simple reason why do we even really need to come back to church why do we why do we need why do we need to do this lord we ask holy spirit that you would give us wisdom and understanding that you would give us insight because we don't want to just be doing things out of tradition but we want to we want to know why we're doing this there's a purpose there's a plan that you have for us lead us and guide us in these next few moments in jesus name we pray somebody say amen amen the church began beautifully as a as a movement but now fast forward a couple thousand years in 2021 we look at the landscape of the gathering and we realize today because of the pandemic and some because of the the internet uh if we if we're honest about where we are as a gathering we're very scattered we're very scattered as a gathering we're very scattered um we're we're we're all over the place you know and and and for some that may not be a bad thing but i believe that when we consider the heart of god i believe that that the heart of god is is grieved because we've now allowed this this scattering to to kind of uh set some some different parameters in our hearts when it comes to the gathering uh where where we can start to believe and i've talked to some people and maybe you have to and i'm grateful that you're here today but some people are starting to believe the lies that we don't really need to do this that we don't really need to gather that i can love god but i don't have to do this because i gotta wake up i gotta get dressed i gotta deal with people or how about this people gotta deal with you you know what's that we gotta do all this this this gathering stuff and and we've settled we've settled in for just being online but how about how about how many know this that just because you're online that doesn't mean you are in line with the heart of god just because you're online doesn't doesn't mean that we're in line just because we're all as a church now we're we're online and online is fine but that does not mean that we're all in line with the heart the purpose the plan of god you've seen that person you've seen that person you've seen that person that you you remember when you went to um i never forget i um i went to new york city and we were hanging out and uh in new york city these signs with these parking on the streets you know you got to have a grace for that thing the park on the streets see i'm a i like to park in the uh in the garage but this this time because a friend of mine he parks and he's always parking for free and finding the right spot so i said i'm gonna do what he's doing i'm gonna find the right spot mind you it was the worst spot i came back outside and my car was gone literally it was gone and and i'm walking over and i'm hanging me and my wife and my buddy we hanging and he's just like brother did you did you park on this street and i'm like yeah well you parked here all the time and nobody he's like no man you gotta look at the clock you gotta read the thing and i'm like there's 50 signs i don't know which sign to read and what time i came here and uh and so i had to go down to get my car out the pound and i i i go there and soon as i get i walk in and this was during covet season this is early on in covet well earlier and i got my mask and i walk in and i see this long line just my heart was broken i was wounded at that moment if you know anything about me i don't like traffic i don't like lines and i i i'm looking at this line and i called my wife i said honey we're going to be here for a while and i'm in i'm in line but then there's there's a guy like two people in front of me and he's wearing me out because he's online but he's not in line do y'all know what i'm talking about he's he's in the vicinity of the line but he walking around he's hanging out he talking to people you know he's sitting down on the floor and as the line is moving he's not moving because he knows that he's he's online in his mind but to us he ain't in line he's not in line and and so and so he in his mind he's online but in our minds he's not in line and so so he thinks that he has a certain position in line but we're like sir sir you're really not in line you you're online but you're not but you're not really you're not really in line and and when you're online sometimes it's really in your mind that you're online but to all of us around we're just like brother you're online but you're really not in line and and when you're in line you understand that there's a certain position and where you are and what's about to take place in your life but i'm like sir i need you to get up i know you're online but you're really not in line and so what's going to end up happening is somebody is going to get in front of you and when you think you're supposed to be next in line you're not you're not going to to receive because you're online you're not in line somebody look it don't tell nobody anything you got to ask just say i'm in line i'm in line in this season and if if we're not careful as it as a gathering we'll settle for being online but then we'll be our hearts will be broken when we don't see breakthrough in our lives because we're not in line that in our hearts and in our minds we're somewhere where where in reality we're not really there and so we're reminded time and time again that god has been calling us he's been calling us back to his heart and which what do you mean pastor when you say online versus inline see see see online is this is this secret one-on-one relationship you have with god it's a secret thing that just you and god and and nobody else can see it nobody else should even be looking don't check my fruit and i get it you know don't don't look at my fruit don't look at my life you know because i'm what i'm online but he didn't create us to just be online he created us and the gathering began to grow and it made it out of the first century which we don't even know how it did but the church survived throughout the years not because of group of people who were online but there was always a group in the midst of all of the stuff a group of people that were seeking to be in line with the heart of god that there was always some who understood that that i can't do this on my own that that i can't just log in and log out there has to be a level of commitment of me being a part of a gathering of the church and so we realize that that if we don't want to be scattered in our lives we got to be in line with god's heart and with god's and with god's people jesus taught us this go with me to luke 17. here's what jesus taught here's what jesus taught luke 17. you got your bibles you got your phones come on you got a phone you got a bible amen luke 17 luke 17 verse verse number one and here's what jesus says to his disciples he says to them it is impossible that no one of that no offenses should come but woe unto him through whom these offenses come jesus says just just look at the top the first part the first clause of that he says jesus said to his disciples it is impossible that no offenses should come just stay right there just think about that jesus says it is impossible that you will not be offended in this life it is impossible that you will live in a fenceless life it's impossible he said offense will come things will come to cause you to stumble now i don't know what that thing is for some of us you know that thing could be some new information or for some of us it can be people or friends or for some it can be unexplainable money unanswered prayers expectations jesus says that it is it is impossible for you to live this life and not be offended and what what a fence does offense becomes a stumbling block i know this is simple just walk with me offense becomes a stumbling block now now it now when you stumble that doesn't mean you automatically fall it just means that you've you've stumbled that that means that you have now the opportunity to fall but that doesn't mean you act you actually fall but but he says that there are going to be some things in your life that is going to cause you to stumble i'm going somewhere now for some of us like i said it can be unexplainable situations in your life that may be a stumbling stumbling block for you and that may be the reason why you can't gather and you can't serve the lord uh for some of us it's our expectations it's our expectations that that become the stumbling block to where now you've settled for being online but not in line with the heart of god and his desire for the gathering for the church i don't know where you are with that now it's it's in matthew chapter number 11. i'm trying to get i'm trying to hurry up i know the time but in matthew chapter number 11 we we begin to read about the guy named john the baptist and some of you may know this story that john the baptist he was he was a friend of jesus and he was the forerunner of jesus he was the one that was that was in line and with god's heart and telling everybody about jesus but then something happened to where now he's put in prison and he goes from being in line to just now being online far away and and he says i want y'all to go and ask jesus is he is he who i said he was and it's amazing he went from it being in line to being online all because of his expectations and the bible says that they come to jesus and jesus says to them tell john that everything that he sold about me uh that that the blind sick that the lame walk and all the good stuff that he talked about tell him that it's actually happening and then jesus gets up and he says to the disciples those who around he says what was john expecting in the first place what was his expectations because i just want to know this has he allowed his expectations [Music] to now bring him to a place of where he he no longer has expectancy of what god is about to do he says has he allowed this situation to be a stumbling block to where now he his expectations has eroded his expectancy you know there's a difference right expectations are what you believe god is going to do specifically expectancy is believing that god is going to do what he desires to do and it's so important and for some of us the reason why we've checked out of being in line with god's heart for the gathering and for what we are called to do as a as a family of god and have chosen to be online and to kind of be somewhat disconnected and a little aloof and a little you know a little distant when it comes to the gathering in the heart of god it's maybe because we step out of expectancy that god i'm believing that you will do what you desire to do with my life and we've traded expectancy now for expectations and said god if you don't get me this car and if you don't give me this wife by this time or this husband by 2023 or if you don't give me this job somebody should be clapping because this is real deal this is real at least i think so because from time to time i find myself getting angry at god not because of expectancy of who god is and what god can do but my expectations of what i believe god should be doing and we find john choosing to be online instead of being in line with the heart of god in this moment not understanding john that that the heart of god has always been not just about you but about the big c church that god is going to do some great things in your life but god is going to do the most in changing this world with all of us together i got some good news for you i got some good news for you jesus says he says those who would be faithful over the little i will make ruler in the next life and i know you can't see that life but he says i will i will make you ruler over cities could you imagine could you imagine that one day and i know this is eternal awards and some of us can't really get with that because it's like no i want my rewards right now but you do know that this life is nothing but a vapor you're here today gone tomorrow and and when when i tell you this when you get before the throne of god you won't be thinking how you're thinking now and prayerfully it won't be full of regret oh man i should have did this and i should have did that and i knew what was most important and maybe pursuing that i you know i i just wish i would have been faithful over the little because we underestimate what god wants to do corporately in all of us and i know that we've sold you in the church has all been about you but i believe god's heart is about us and what god wants to do with the gathering i found out in in my own life you know the reason why i don't play individual sports i like team sports better um because in team sports you can win without being good you know come on there's a guy named judd bushler there's it you don't know his name but he played with michael jordan he got championships he got chips you don't know him but he in his house he got rings he's got something that much better players don't have because he was on a team he was connected with the right people and so for some of us i know we think you know you want to be the superstar you want to you're saying i'm the guy that don't team up with other great players and i want to do this all by myself well okay you can do it by yourself but you probably won't win and somebody say i want to be in line i want to be inline i want to be in line jesus says the reason why you want to be in line and you want to be a part of the gathering is because you can still win even on a bad day that that if you get connected the right way the times not even when you're having a bad day times when you're injured there are coaches that we don't even see on the bench there are coaches that are in football that are up in the in the rafters making calls everybody wins somebody said i want to be in line so here's what the wisest man says and i'm ended right here here's what the wisest man says ecclesiastes chapter number four chapter number four chapter number four verse number 10. i started verse number nine he says two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor for if they fall one will lift up his companion but woe to him somebody say woe to him woe to him who is alone when he stumbles for he has no one there to pick him up it may not be your fault that you stumbled but it is your fault if there was no one there to pick you up you may not be the reason why you stumbled but you are the reason why there is that there is no one there to help you he says it's impossible for you to live without stumbling but the wise men said you're going to stumble but woe unto him when he stumbles there is no one there to pick you up why why are we coming back to church we're not coming back to church we're coming back to the ecclesia the gathering the movement with those who encountered something who experienced something in their lives that's saying you know what god i don't i don't want to be a church goer i don't want to be online but god we desire to be in line with your heart with your purpose with your plan for what you're trying to do in these last days the prophet haggai says that in the last days he says that i will shake the heavens and the earth that god says i am going to shake and and let me tell you this you know who won't endure the god shakings now there are two things now that's going to take place there are going to be some shakings from the earth from the enemy and then there's also going to be some shakings from heaven and if we're going to endure the uncertainty if we're going to to be able to endure the times where we may stumble when our finances didn't turn out right and we made some bad decisions the times when we had some expectations that brought us out of a place of expectancy when those things come to make us stumble i just want to know is there someone there is there is there a brother and sister in the faith there to pick you up because if you it may not be your fault if you stumble but it is your fault if there's no one there to pick you up david had to learn this he was king for about 20 years he's getting a little used to this kingdom thing he sees bathsheba he says bring her over here he lays with her her husband comes back uriah comes back and he says man go go to your wife he turns around and he sees that uriah is sleeping and still serving he's committed he's serving he's serving he gets him drunk and he says man go home and be with your wife he's trying to fix and cover up the situation because he slept with her he got her pregnant and he's trying to cover up the situation he says well then we gotta we gotta i guess we gotta kill him then and then they sent him to the front line and then the prophet nathan comes nathan comes in and he says uh there was a guy david he gives him this story he says david it's you this is you you're the problem the problem was found in verse number one it all began because david when everybody was going to war david decided to stay online [Music] instead of being in line and fighting the battles he decided you know what this one i'm gonna sit this one out i'm gonna chill out i'ma hang out i don't have to go i ain't to be a part of the family i'ma just chill out right here and then he finds himself in a predicament that would change the course of his life but the most important thing hear me hear me the most important thing is that david no one had access to david no one had access to the king after 20 years no one had access to say david i don't think you should be sitting this one out no one had access to say david i'm telling you man if you if you stay home on this one this is going to change everything you have to battle with this for the rest of your life why do we need to come back to church because maybe we need a nathan maybe we need somebody that will speak to us and the times we feel like it just might be better to be online that it just in this season it just feels better i just i just feel you know just feel that because there's a difference between solitude and isolation isolation is all about you solitude is all about everybody around you solitude is getting alone to meditate to grow and to be better isolation is always going to be about you and how how they hurt you and and how you need to you know i don't know i didn't know what to say at that point and that's what you did somebody say in line in line with the heart of god for the gathering he can't when they gather together and i'm done come on when they gathered together initially in acts chapter 2 that's when we saw revival that's when we saw that's when we saw thousands coming to the lord that's that's when we saw signs and wonders that's when that's when the bible says stuff that we can't even comprehend that they they brought all the things that they owned and they brought it together they didn't think more highly of themselves that they were willing to bear one another's burdens because because of what they encountered in and they thought you know what we'd probably be better if we do this together and i know we're all tempted i know we're all tempted especially in the times that we're living in to be online i know we're tempted to believe that that the gathering is cool but it's not as priority but i don't think that's the heart of the father you need community life happens in community and how about this you you need community because you don't just need pastoral care you need genuine care you don't just need pastoral care you need real care genuine care somebody that actually really cares about you to love on you that's what you need and sometimes because we don't have that and we did not cultivate that then we chase after pastoral care and i'm not saying that's a bad thing but then you start chasing after certain people and then you get all upset when certain people don't do you need not the church but the ecclesia you need the gathering because even on your worst days you can still win if you would just say yes to making this gathering the place that it's supposed to be what if what if what if you said that i'm going to take responsibility to creating the right environment psalms 92 those who are planted in the house of the lord shall flourish in the courts those who are planted in the house meaning this house should be rich soil that when you get planted you start growing he says no matter what season of life you're in that's what it says psalm 91 92 he he says no matter what season of life whether you're old whether you're young you should be flourishing because the soil here is so rich because you've created the right environment of love acceptance grace and not just being online but saying god i want to be in line with your heart let me pray for you father we thank you we thank you lord god that no longer are we going to hang around the line making other people upset but god we thank you that today father because of your word for choosing to be in line in line with your heart with your heart for the church that you said that you're coming back for a church that you're coming back for the gathering you're coming back not just for each of us individually but you're coming back for us corporately a church without spot or wrinkle a church that would be purified by your word that's how you purify us by the washing of his word so we thank you today that we're purified and washed in your word today that we will not allow our expectations to cause us to stumble but we choose today lord god expectancy to keep hoping and believing in in the gathering and what you've called us to do as a family of god we thank you lord god that that we too father want to see sons and daughters coming back we want to see lord god our fellow brothers and sisters in this house lord god we don't we don't want to see them stumbling away and coming for years and then all of a sudden we can't find them and we don't know where they are they've fallen away lord god help us father to have a heart of compassion but god help us to be open to new godly relationships help us lord god to no longer hide behind the mask of this is how i am this is how god made me i just you know i don't i don't do that you know i don't really i'm to myself because the the fact is you may want to be alone but nobody likes to feel alone father we thank you that you're with us and you've given us the family of god and we would be the church we would be the soil that we would see flourishing lives flourishing marriages flourishing singles flourishing children teenagers god because your house is a home father we thank you father we thank you can you just take 30 seconds right there in your seats and can we just lift up some incense to the lord just say yes just say yes to the father just encounter the word before we leave we're about to leave just encounter the word come on you've heard it now you've got to receive it receive the word just receive the word just receive the word receive the word we thank you father we thank you we thank you for the nathan's in our lives lord we thank you father for what you're doing in this house lord have your way father in jesus name let the church say amen let the church say amen about australia god has spoken let the church who shall say amen come on church coming those of you that out are feeling like oh god i'm not ready just yet this word was to clarify hopefully in you the fact that you still need to come back to church those of you that are watching that are streaming us and you stream every service and you're far far away stay connected by way of streaming those of you that can come to church god has spoken [Music] so you have to now make a decision and i've i'm i wrestle with this you got to make a decision not from your flesh you got to make a decision from your spirit the place where god occupies space you've heard the truth today what you gonna do about it let the church oh [Music] it is so to the will of god [Music] close your eyes just for a second if you need the lord jesus christ to become the very air that you breathe the very reason why you exist if you're you're empty in your heart and your soul and you need the savior and today is your day to accept him as your lord and savior would you do so by simply confessing these words say lord jesus i come to you today i confess my sins i can't name them all but i confess them and i give them to you and i ask you spirit of the living god to come alive in me i ask you lord according to my faith that i believe now that jesus christ came died for my sins he was buried and he rose again so that i would live in his eternal life i accept jesus today as my lord and savior and i connect myself to this local assembly to not only to jesus but i i connect myself to the house of the lord the church in jesus name amen if you prayed that prayer come on let's now demonstrate our connection if you're in the sanctuary you're accepted the lord jesus christ for the first time i need you to come forward i need to come forward so that we can get connected to you so that we can be a support to you and then if you're here today this would be a great day to connect to this local assembly by way of joining us becoming a part of this assembly i want to open up the doors of the church well it's wide open and if you're saying today i'm bishop i'm coming i'm coming to be a connected member of this local assembly if that's you i don't know maybe somebody today if it's just in case i want to just see if anybody anybody raise your hand if that's you if you want to join today anybody anybody in this sanctuary you want to join today i'm sure there's people online that's connecting with us but anybody in the church am i missing anybody am i missing anybody am i missing any life am i missing anybody hey what's going on man dude i love you boy anybody else your rich blessing to be poured upon him as he engages in this season of the church as a part of the church building the local church thank you for the gift that you placed inside of him and now lord i pray that you will cause us to do what we're responsible in doing cause us to speed and to make sure that he moves in the direction of the ordered steps that you have for his life father i thank you for the gift that we received from him and the gift of grace the word of the lord and praise and worship he receives from this house in jesus name amen would you go with him son real quick yeah you church i want y'all to live this is abundant life we want you to live but you have a responsibility take care of yourselves we have no fear you know when you go out in public much as i don't like it but wear your mask you know what i'm saying y'all i'm talking about self-care take care of yourselves watch your company ask people questions when they come into your area amen and i just i just care for you all so much i love you all so much mary and i we love you so much and we only want the best for you but you got to want the best for yourself we give you the word of the lord we give you the couple of weeks is the importance of staying connected connected and you know we're here at the plug-in show every sunday before plug stay connected you don't stay connected you don't have no power okay so one of the things that pastor jordan said today was that you don't want to be alone so if you if you stumble even if it's not your own fault you want to have someone there with you and and that's why we're here because not everyone can actually physically come into this things where you might be sick you might be traveling but it's important for you to stay connected so that if you if you run into an issue or a problem or you need you can always call you can always go online you can always check with us such an important message today and then the second part of that was if you are staying home simply because you just want to stay home and be isolated that's what we don't want you to do okay we don't want you this should not be an excuse to stay home like you stay connected because you want to stay plugged in and you what and you enjoy the plug-in show you might i want to be a part of it one day yes yes but we have people tuning in a past angel from all over from california from tennessee north carolina florida south carolina south carolina new jersey new jersey they're just they're staying we're staying plugged in we're staying together uh as a unit so so i want to stay plugged in for about another 20 minutes today what do you think about that okay not so okay i do want to ask you one more question though because because again um what a phenomenal youth pastor you are and there is a parent's ministry oh yes there's a parents ministry that happens every second sunday ever start over every second monday so the next date will be september the 13th at 8 30 p.m we give you time to put your kids in the bed and then we just talk amongst ourselves we try to help each other grow give you some tips we don't claim to be an expert because they're they're my me and my child are different than you and your child but we do give you helpful terms we uh tips we pray for each other we um teach about self-care because as a parent if you're not full you can't pour from an empty cup if you're not full if you haven't taken care of yourself and you're exhausted and you're tired you know if you're going to snap at your children so we give you ways to like do things to calm yourself down yes i know as my kids were preparing for the um princes and boys to men yes um program that we have here at abundant life one of the critical critical things was that meeting that you had with the parents yeah i'll tell you i learned so i learned a lot i got six kids now but i learned a lot that you do you learn about your kids because kids don't tell parents everything they do so my prayer for my children was that they would tell someone that i trusted with them someone who was gonna give them facts right someone who's gonna lead them to god that's right you know because don't feel bad that your kids don't tell you everything you know what i mean they should be telling me everything well they should but some parents don't really listen with their ears they listen with their mouth because as soon as the kids say something you snap out of them we want to we want to balance discipline and love yes because when kids do something wrong you got a whole paragraph bryce you shouldn't have done this but will they do something right good job no add some sentences in there you did a good job i mean you know what one day i can see you opening the business you know oh wow on and on we put that uh purpose in our kids we let them know that they're all that my kids thought they could conquer the world and they can and they're going again hallelujah that's that's what if you wanted if i wanted to leave the parents here with a thought okay if there was one thought that you wanted to share with them as we prepare to send our kids back to school as we prepare to kind of move forward a little bit out of the pandemic you know is there is there a thought that comes to mind that you want to share with the parents today yes but i want you to go first well i think that for me it's it's been real important for me to um have my kids ask questions oh yes having a conversation and them communicating with me what their apprehensions are right and so me being able to be honest about what that is and my response to that because i may not agree right because you know there was there was one situation where my daughter you know she wants to be vaccinated and hang out with her friends and that's the only reason she wants to be destiny so i wanted to have a conversation with her about the real reason and did you do research but connection is is for kids is a real thing it's very valid they miss their friends you know kids are making up imaginary friends and things like that and at an older age because they miss that so yes do some research but okay so i'm going to piggyback off your thoughts yes when your kids speak listen give them your undivided attention the things that you didn't like growing up that your parents were like go on stay in a child's place a child's place is with their parents so they can learn they learn how to cook they learn how to sew they learn how to clean the house you know things like that so this is when you give your kid your undivided attention saying nate was my little child so bug me mommy mom hey hey hey i'm mommy yes little nate okay can i have ice cream before dinner well if you have ice cream before dinner you won't have a good appetite for dinner so how about we have it after if you eat all your food but give them look at them yes give them one thing one of the um what's the prince in harry not harry the one who stayed over there what's his name william prince william yes they said he does like this when he wants to give his children an undivided attention he kneels down so that they know he has their actual attention so give your children undivided attention listen to them they may be saying crazy things and you know they say like and then then like but listen to them hear them and then give your rebuttal in love thank you that you know what that that's some good advice you know especially communication and looking at them when they win this
