THIS WAS SO SCARY IT MADE ME CRY

ladies my name is jacksepticeye and welcome to fears to fathom home alone edition you think we're gonna go save kevin or be the opposite side of it and invade his home uh this is a game that i didn't know anything about evelyn suggested it to me as like a cool new indie horror game that's out and i love the style of it so far also sorry that i'm sniffly i have some sort of allergy that's kicking in it's not because i'm really sad i promise but i think my voice sounds weird does it anyway there's two of these out fears to find them home alone and fears to fathom norwood hitchhike i think it's the other one but we're going to try out this one first and see what it's like uh episodes yes oh there you go apparently uh this is what everyone told me that these are games based on real stuff that happens and people have submitted stories oh yeah fierce fathers episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived you are playing episode one more episodes coming soon episode playtime 20 minutes oh that's so nice i like when you say that lets me know how long we have in us how long my attention span needs to be july 12th i didn't want to put this up on reddit just for it to be called a piece of fiction i don't even know where to start well this is really scary excuse my lack of good storytelling skills this is really scary if it's a real story i guess i'll just start it was the middle of the summer my parents had left for that weekend due to a work trip which meant i was all by myself for the weekend also i feel like i have to i do have to mention that my sleep schedule was really messed up around this time i would sleep and get up at just about any time of day hey no judgment here though i did plan on fixing that every we're all fixing a sleep schedule all the time these days i feel like even the people who work a nine-to-five job are still trying to fix their sleep schedule oh oh oh shut up jesus that's the most annoying alarm sound ever okay press space to get up okay nice house just a bed in the middle of the house what am i doing oh this looks great damn oh it's spooky as well because it's raining outside right now so i thought it was in the game wait so it's i woke up at 8 p.m that's rough that's like you're reverse cycling at that point oh wait that was just a bedroom i thought this was the whole house nice place sweet texture is just for mom uh oh wait when are you guys gonna be back dad and i are gonna be back on monday honey didn't i tell you that yesterday cool take care honey sleep on time i hope you'll get the xbox like you promised i mean if you get that discount can i invite mason and josh over for the night for homework of course you can call me if any if you need anything make squares then your energy i guess i'm energy then okay yeah crap i totally forgot probably gonna do tonight lol same my parents are out for the night want to come over we can play mario kart 2. i'll with a stranger in your house is literally one of my worst fears okay who's out here huh i have a shotgun and i'm afraid to use it actually oh god the lasagna is freaking me out oh food was cold press g to throw if anyone comes i don't have a shotgun anymore i have lasagna you want to come in my house you're going to get garfield uh microwave microwave oven oven food was heating up you got to do it is that my food heating up i thought it was a truck outside oh nice can i i liked watching tv while i ate okay oh you opening those blinds automatically freaks me out nice living room there you go what up what are we watching oh hell yeah it took a massive chunk no dude that's so scary did you see that did you see his feet go up the stairs oh no oh and the thought is a passive viewer knowing that they're upstairs i was already feeling very sleepy after eating the food you just sleep all the time oh my heart's racing right now [Music] oh [ __ ] oh [ __ ] uh we're gonna have to call it off man just something just came up but you gotta come to jessica's tomorrow oh please come over look at that like spine tingling feeling okay i'll do homework i guess and just die couldn't focus because the tvs noise downstairs oh [ __ ] you i don't want to go back down okay close this i'm getting panic sweats shut the [ __ ] up oh no oh [ __ ] this is how you got in oh i'm about to go fetal on this oh [Music] i hate it i hate it i hate it so much do your homework do your homework there you go two plus two four quick mess 12 38 a.m we went four hours doing my homework for the day in a few hours oh god someone's been in your house for that long [Music] don't stay up too late you kids i shouldn't get to hear from mrs paula this time huh oh the thought of going to sleep well someone's in your house 1 16 a.m i got up to get some water [Music] i have a massive fear of being asleep while someone watches me and i'm not talking like a ghost or a sort of like paranormal entity i mean just like a real person in my house you guys ever seen the movie vhs there's a bunch of them out now but the first vhs movie it's like an anthology of like short horror movies there's one with someone in your room as you're sleeping staring at you i don't want to spoil it but it's very scary and unlocked like a brand new deep level fear in me that i didn't know i had i'm gonna close this just so i know i can't see i hate it i'm gonna cry what am i yeah how do i drink water cute oh we're getting bottles of water okay the footsteps are like music [ __ ] this i wouldn't even nearly be as scared if i didn't see his footsteps go up the stairs the fact that i know they're in the house [Music] mom sent one image you there no so the mom thought it was a friend coming over because she saw the text message from the neighbor across the street oh balls to this click to hide yes ugh should i be doing something just wait till morning sleep under the bed why am i doing this to myself turn on the light turn on the light turn on the light oh just the worst okay am i hearing footsteps i'm freaking out okay i can't check any like closets or anything i just want to go back to bed just go back to bed oh [ __ ] even if you are in this room with me it's less scary to close the door behind me oh i can't rest is back mom um mom the wind is outside my actual house weapon we need a weapon [Music] mom paula sent me said he's been creeping through the windows we're calling the cops you kids lock don't answer the door no matter what he does oh mom it's too late at this point this is where you go out this is where you leave the house [Music] you leave the house and you go across the street oh it's so dark oh what debug mode what oh i'm tingling i've goosebumps all over me yeah leave wait where can i leave [Music] [Applause] uh-huh yep oh my god oh i've legit tears my eyes that was so much worse than i thought it was going to be that makes you feel alive don't it [Laughter] that sucked oh mama well i fervently need to just relax for the rest of the day it's it's 12 o'clock in the middle of the day and i should not be feeling this way already oh god that was really good i was very very good very well set up wait that actually happened to somebody no i is this are these like actual stories that actually happen to people that have full proof of evidence that they happened or is this like r slash no sleep on reddit where it's like just really good stories that you're like ah are they real probably not i don't like the fact that that could be real that was really well done too because the fact that like sitting down and my character like if you're sitting down you're watching tv and you're eating your lasagna like you probably wouldn't notice somebody walking upstairs and then that whole time i was worried that they were upstairs in my room in my parents room i was waiting for like somebody to sneak up behind me all the time but the fact that i went to bed and they probably just snuck back out of the house and we're looking in through the windows all that time were there any other moments that i could have seen them around the house that i didn't realize but all that time i was worried that they were still in the house so i was like okay let's go across the street then and then they got me was such a perfect setup oh that got me good okay coming down i i legit like sometimes you play these horror games and like yeah you're kind of like playing it up because you want like the audience to get involved and you want to like you kind of want to get scared because that's the whole point of playing them so you can like play it up a little bit that i was not playing up at all that was legit sending chills up my back and giving me goosebumps and like clamming me up those are some real life scares oh very good fears to fathom what a game i'm really excited not to play the next one the norwood hitchhike if it's any if it's like that at all i'm very much looking forward to it oh god did that get you did it scare you i hope so it got me oh anyway let me know what you thought in the comments
