what is the best way to farm echos what even is a good Echo and should you run 44111 or 43311 and if you don't know what that is don't worry because you'll be covering that among many other things in today's video so if you're someone who's new to Echo farming or someone who's a bit addicted like me I'm confident that this guide has something for every one of you okay I feel like it's very important to start at the basics because there's a lot of stuff that's very easy to miss so what are echoes every time you kill a creature in the world there's a chance for it to drop and Echo and the percentage chance for an Echo to drop after you kill a monster depends on your data Bank level let's talk a bit about the data bank because it is very important as you increase your dat Bank level you get a increased base drop rate to drop and Echo alongside giving you enhance drop rates on Boss enemies and also highest drop Rarity increase Ines so basically you can get four stars and five stars starting from certain Data Bank levels and that's why datab Bank levels are very important it will also increase your cost limit and if you don't know what that means right now don't worry we'll talk more about that later I would say the significant M stones for data banks are level eight where you first unlock four stars and level 15 where you first unlock five stars which is the endgame gear so to speak at maximum datab Bank level at level 20 which is unlocked at Union level 40 every time an echo drops from killing a creature you get 80% chance for it to be a festar and 20% for a fourstar so yes the data bank is very important and how good your gear is depends solely on your D Bank level even if you lower your World level in game which is a big tip that we'll get more into later by the way you still get the same drop rates because your datab bank level stays the same so you might be thinking well how do I level up my datab fast then one quick tip just involves going to your Echo Gallery right here scrolling all the way down and start farming from the bottommost enemy you can click this button over here to track them on your map you can click detect and they will show you where they are on the map this is especially useful for enemies that aren't bosses that are scattered all around the world and the reason I say go from the bottom is because when you kill them and if you get the highest Rarity that you currently can you are getting more exp in general in the case of my account this is the only way to get exp to get these four stars up to five stars however when I was at lower levels when I only had two stars of certain of these and my maximum was four stars instead of getting just an upgrade from let's say a three star to a four star I got an upgrade from a two star to a four star which is more exp and just helps you level faster if that makes sense now let's move on quickly to Sonata effects these are the set effects of Echo relics artifacts from other games these are like the the combos if you have the whole set you get these additional effects there are currently nine different effects in the game and each monster belongs to at least one set with all of them except bosses being part of two sets except for the bellor Gio chalone chalone although he's a boss very special guy so there are two levels to these effects as well first one requiring two of the same set and the second one five in other games you can do mix sets of two-piece twopiece of useful stats for a specific character however in this game it seems right now that it's just better to go five piece all together because two piece two piece isn't as strong as just straight out five pieces in this game and the five piece effects are generally just general enough to work on basically every single character that would want that set do note that to make a set you need individual Echoes that are unique from one another so for example if I already have a Havoc dread main over here equipped I cannot use another Havoc dread main on the second slot that was a bad example because I don't have a Havoc damage bonus Havoc dread main as you can see here it doesn't work so variety is important so if you notice up here there's one cost three cost and four cost and also if you just look beside each Echo you will see a number well to quickly explain that each Echo has a cost so you need to stay within 12 costs alog together once you hit Data Bank level 9 or above below that you're limited to 10 cost and Below think about it this way there are two main differences between the cost basically the higher the cost the more better the effect of the monsters will be so for example all bosses are for cost and that's because their effect when you use the echo skill is a very very very good so normally you would want to run them on the first slot because that's the slot where you can activate your Echo skill from tree cost have moderately powerful Echo skills and one cost Echo skills are pretty weak in comparison or just very funny utility passive like this Vision Jun rock that helps you pick up plant or minerals very cute now the second main difference between the different costs is the main stats that they can roll as you can see on my dream list I am running a crit rate main stat on the tree cost I'm running damage bonus and on the one cost I am running attack percent okay to help show the possible substats we're on Pride very useful website for resources like this link in the description if you want to check it out we can see here that one cost have three possible main stats you might think it's four because of the HP up here however that is just the secondary main stat of sorts and it's always just guaranteed so HP attack or defense is what the possible main stats are for the for cost we have six possible main stats HP attack defense with crit rate crit damage and also healing bonus with the secondary main stat being attack perc and now for the big one the tree cost has 10 possible substat roles which is why a lot of people are saying that tree cost are very much a pain because a lot of these are useless substats as well if your character doesn't do the specific damage type the secondary main stat is also attack percent but do keep note like let's look at the rank five at max level you have 100 attack it is lower than rank five of the for cost so for cost is just more powerful in terms of the base secondary stat as well so since we're here let's talk about possible substats as well so all Echo regardless of the main stat share the same substat pool which you can see here there are 13 different substats in total one thing to note that is unlike gansin and starel it is possible to roll the same substat as the main stat of a piece so if you look at this dreamless piece once again as you can see the main stat is crit rate and also you can roll crit rate as a substat very cool very cool yay and also as you can see here each substat has a range so the value of a substat is not fixed in fact there are a few different values it can roll so I'm going to use sweeter Le's graphic here big shout out to sweetly amazing amazing content she posts good quality content a lot of it as well go subscribe to her there are eight possible substat values that you can roll so in in S graphic she separated them into low mid mid rolls High Rolls and High Rolls each having two values all except flat attack and flat defense which we don't really care about anyway and more interestingly this is another graphic by swed it seems that the chances of rolling substats is weighed more heavily towards the middle and the lower ranges and higher ranges are far more unlikely with the chance to get a Max role being the most unlikely very cool info thank you sweetly okay quickly I want to touch on something before we go into leveling and that's for 4111 or 43311 and that refers to the cost of the echo 43311 is like what I'm running on my Encore over here and this is like the ideal end game kind of setup because you're fully utilizing all 12 of your cost and you're running damage bonus which is better scaling than attack percent or even crit once you have enough crit and 44111 uses two main boss Echo keep in mind that only a few bosses have two unique bosses from the same set like the dreamless and the crownless right now and you run attack attack attack I I don't have more attack so I'm just using like defense but you get the point to add up to the same set as well the reason you do this is because in early game you're lacking a lot of crit rate maybe you don't have a crit rate weapon and you just don't have good enough substats to run a crit damage main you could run a crit rate and crit damage main stats over here or you could run both crit rate just to get you up and running however do keep in mind that this is a 10 to 15% damage loss from just running 43311 with the upside being it's much easier to farm for cost because as we've seen there is less possible main stats and you can just keep redoing the bosses over and over again rather than having to hunt for specific damage bonus on your tree cost and getting two of them as well personally I didn't go for that because I have way too much time on my hands and I am totally not addicted to this game so yeah for all my builds I went 4 3311 it's also because I don't know if in the future I would end up using all the four cost that I leveled up it might be unnecessary and therefore more of a waste I rather do something that's a bit harder right now if I'm going to use it for a longer time down the line but once again what talk about this more later it's just because I have a lot of time and I have the luxury to pick and choose which pieces I roll because I get a lot of the correct main stats usually at the end of day it's still RNG and you can farm for hours and get nothing but it's besides the point so let's talk about leveling so all you need to know is that every five levels that you upgrade a echo which you can do using these seal tubes over here you can start to tune your Echo and to tune them you need to consume these materials called tuners four star Echo use their own tuners three stars two stars and five stars and once you use 10 premium tuners to tune your Echo you get a random substat from the substat pool do note that this is optional and if you're like me that just wants the main stat the energy recharge for example for my Verina you don't need to use your tuners for the substats it is not necessary but it's a lot of like wasted power it it just depends what you need for that character for main damage dealers you want CR rate and crit damage over there right so one tip I have is that instead of leveling an echo from let's say 0 to 10 because you only have that much resources I rather you level two Echo instead for example this who Chief over here and this Stonewall bracer I plus five both of them cuz effectively it's 10 levels however it's cheaper to do so this way cuz it takes 4.5k exp to get from Level 0 to 5 but a whopping 143k from just 20 to 25 where you get the same amount value you unlock a substat and you also get the same amount of main stad for it especially in the early game do level Echo this way if you can because at the end of the day you can feed pieces into other pieces for 75% of its original exp value also if you tune the piece is you get 30% refund of the tuners you use whenever you feed them I just want to quickly talk about leveling priority as well you want to get the correct main stats for your DPSS first and then after that just get the correct set for your supports just for the set effect to buff your main DPS further and help keep them alive and then lastly you can start working on the main DPS substats and optimizing their build from there so what is considered a good piece well it's really early on in the game right now so it's hard to say what a good piece ultimately will be when it comes to facing the hardest content however right now I feel like anything that boosts your crit rate and gets it up and running especially for DPSS that like to rely on critting is amazing and crit rate more so than crit damage because we start with base 5% crit rate and like 50% crit damage or 150% if you want to say it like it's presented in this game however apparently it works exactly the same as in genin and star rail 100 50% crit damage over here is essentially the same as 50% in those games it just presented differently so like a good goal would still be a 1 to2 crit ratio just minus 100 from crit damage when you do that so ultimately I don't know what would be considered a good piece but statistically if you get three useful substats out of five I would say that's a win because it's already above average if you think about it we talked about the high and low roles already and endgame minmax might most probably involve that because the ranges are pretty wide if you look at them compared to skin and starel but I don't think it's that important at least for now and probably in the future as well in the end game if you don't want the mint Max touching grass 24/7 farming Echo to just reroll and reroll speaking of touching grass let's go do that so some things you might not know about echos are that these glowy monsters exist sometimes you go around the world and you see some monsters that have like an aura it's like they're about to go Super Saiyan or something or they're like magical this mag magical monsters okay mm's magical monsters orc you just call them glowy monsters GM like good morning I don't know up to you when you see a monster like that kill it because good news it is a guaranteed Echo drop so even if you're not farming that monster just kill it you know might be a four star might be a five star like you can save it for a future character maybe it is a good substat it just very minimal effort required to get a guaranteed Echo so I always recommend killing the glowy monsters the good mornings okay now this tip is more to do with gearing I would suggest that you farm 41 Tree in term of prority because it is the easiest to farm main stat for your for cost and also the most impactful because especially in early game you want crit up and running so especially for main DPSS crit rate on the main for cost is maybe not the easiest thing to form compared to like attack percent for one cost echos but it is the most impactful followed by one cost because yes it's easy to farm there's only three possible sub stats and it's just free stats right next tip is to farm overlap sets so I really suggest that you sit down and just scroll through your character list if you already know what characters you're going to build perfect if you don't just decide what characters you want to build and focus on for the different content this is where having a goal really really helps and also just knowing what characters you like if you're in an early game right now don't stress on it Echo Farm later play around with your characters first um but when you start Echo farming hopefully you have a good idea of what characters you want to play and when you do take note of what sets they want because a lot of the time you can farm for two characters at the same time potentially by targeting the correct Echoes and how I would suggest you do that is go into the Sonata Gallery in your datab bank and just go to the specific set you want to farm for example let's say for my Encore I want to farm molten Rift from here you can see all the enemies that you want as a dungeon main myself I would like to farm the Sun sinking Eclipse set as well so you can look at all the enemies here and you might notice right going back and forth that wow there's some overlap especially the wolf right the wolf is the only overlap I think but it's an overlap and it's a tree cost echo which is amazing thing to overlap because now no matter what set it drops it has a chance to gear either of your character which is pretty good it also opens you up to get Havoc damage bonus on the fire set and fire on the Havoc damage bonus set so additional pay in there however it's just generally better right so so yeah that's what I do the molten Rift set also shares the crane another tree cost with the Viet Thunder set so on and so forth right which brings me into my next Point DPS sets generally just want to match the element of your DPS to the 5p set of that element however support sets are Universal so for your venas for your bers for your sub DPSS like Sano or or just characters that swap in very quickly do your burst and then switch out to your main main DPS there are two support sets that are pretty much Universal and that's the rejuvenating glow and moonlit Cloud set tldd rejuvenating glow goals on your healers and Moonlight clouds goes on your sub DPSS so these sets are very Universal unless they add new sets I for see that these sets will be the best supportive set for those specific roles going into the future so I highly suggest that you take some time and start farming them as well the best tree cost stats on these aren't damage bonus ones because you're not focusing that much on your damage unless you're doing a sub DPS build for example like San on moon clouds however a lot of the times energy recharge is the main thing you want to go for especially on the rejuvenating glow set and if you look at these two sets just going back and forth you might see that both the turtle and the Golem along with the fion rock the fly the tornado eye looking thing a lot of them share the same set so I would also suggest targeting the these monsters if you already have your main DPS settled or just to get a 5p set of this without caring about main stats for your sub DPSS I think the earlier form this the better you don't even need the correct main stats you just put it on your supports because you just want the increase attack for your main DPS think about it this way you're giving your main DPS free stats by just having five different Echoes on your supports sub stats don't matter main stats don't matter matter as much until you get your main DPS going basically farming this is also a way of farming for a main DPS if that makes sense CU they basically farming stats for them very important very good I I recommend I personally Target The Stonewall bracers every day also when farming echos you can lower your salry level basically your World level and that doesn't affect the drop rates of echo it only affects the drops of the enemies themselves like the materials they drop and also the rewards you gain whenever you use your wave plates so make sure use your wave plates first before lowering your soul level you can change it once every 12 hours this makes a decently big difference in the health pools of enemies and in turn the amount of time it takes to kill them and can really help you gain just more Echo for the same amount of time farmed I highly recommend it especially if you're not one-shotting your current world enemies okay now time for the biggest tip it is something that might sound complicated and if it does I understand however stick with me I promise that it's just good knowledge to have at the back of your mind okay so when you get a five star drop this is when this knowledge comes into play and big shout out to Cocky gachas by the way who first at least made it known to me that this thing existed Link in the description to the video but essentially there is a hidden pity for every class of enemies so for example one cost are part of the common class three cost are the Elite Class and four cost are split into Calamity class which is the weekly bosses and also Overlord class which is the world bosses in this video kcki gacha shared that Overlord class enemies have a Pity of two so basically if you don't get a echo drop when you kill a overlord class the next Overlord class you kill will have a guaranteed drop that doesn't mean they are guaranteed five star or fourst Star anything like that it's just a guaranteed Echo drop same thing for Calamity class however they do not share the same pity the Calamity class and the overlord class however Calamity class pity is also two so you have to kill other Calamity classes to get to the same pity Elite Class enemies have four pity and don't take this at face value but I'm decently certain that common class enemies have a Pity of eight so two four and eight so quickly using Elite Class enemies as an example my pity is now at zero because I just killed this Heron and it dropped a echo now I know that if I kill three more Elites and it doesn't drop an echo then the next one is guaranteed there are actually a lot of spots on the map that have perfectly tree enemies so spots like this is perfect for this kind of stuff there are some places with tree Bears to some places with three mushrooms but yeah we have three Golems here so as you can see this isn't super reliable because you can get them early it's still a 20% chance to drop so this kind of reset the pity I'm pretty sure I killed this and then I kill one more so my pity is now at one so from this you can see it's not really the most reliable way to Target Farm um unless you have like more time I suppose post cuz basically what you have to do when that happens is you have to build up your PT again and it dropped early again so we're at two now okay and we're at three now I know the next Monster I kill is guaranteed to drop the echo so I'm going to go Target the tamborin over here as you can see it dropped the echo let's claim it real quick surely it's a five star it's a five star okay let's check it spectral on Havoc set okay classic havoc on Electro set yep attack oh we'll take that okay yeah so I would say there are three main ways to use this knowledge the first one is to Target Farm like that and I think it's only really useful if you don't want to co-op at all and you want to make sure that every single tree cost of that type in your world or one cost or whatever drops every single time you you just go around killing anything that is not that and then when you have guarantee you kill so you can get the maximum amount out of your world every single day I mean it's kind of useless in C because it might just be faster to just kill everything that you see and just go different worlds you might have a better yield of that specific one on top of having a lot of different other Echo as well at the end of the day if if you do the co-op strategy however you can do this as well you know maximize what you can in your in your world every single day the second way to use it is a more hybrid strategy which I tried myself which is to kill two non-target and then you start killing the target so the third one is not guaranteed but the fourth one is so at most you waste one enemy that doesn't drop but you still get the guaranteed forth this saves you time because like what happened just now sometimes it can drop on the first second or third due to the 20% chance at base that it drops anyway so yeah it's a nice like Middle Ground I'll say it's more chill to do as well because when you track certain enemies on the map you TP to the closest way point and then as you're going to them you look around maybe you find more Elites and then you just just have to find two of them and then you continue tracking your enemy rather than like having to run over the world to kill stuff and then only go to your desired enemy and then make a b line for it ignore everything around you so the third method which is what I've started to gravitate towards now is just keeping in the back of your mind this works well if you're locked in and concentrated or if you're just really good at multitasking you just sort of intuitively know so I killed this tree cost so my is at zero Now kill one more kill two more and you turn up to the next Elite spot and there are two enemies there you kill the enemy that you want the echo less of because it's only a 20% chance to drop and then you kill the one that you want after that so if you think about it you have to roll a 20% and then a 80% after that for it not to work out for you so the way I do this is I go to the data bank I see what enemy I want to track let's say today I want to track uh Havoc Dr main I track it detect it it's on the map and so when I TP to the nearest way point and I'm on the way to the enemy I'm just killing a bunch of Elites at I see as well if I know that I'm not close to my pity if I already have my pity then obviously I'm not going to kill anything on the way so just nice to have this kind of knowledge just makes things more efficient to Target Farm also note that killing the glowy monsters the GMS that we talked about earlier also resets the pity so if you're close just go get your pity and then get the glow monster and instead of killing the glowing monster and then reset your pity okay so if you can't tell I'm trying to be as thorough as possible so some final things starting off with a advanced leveling guide so this is more of what I do I'm just sharing it note that this is a bit Min maxy and only do this if you have time cuz at the end of the day you can endlessly Farm echo in this day and the only thing that's limiting you is your time that you spend and also how efficient you use your time at the end of the day how much Echo you get basically comes down to the amount of time you put in and also how well used the time you put in since it's so cheap to plus five Echo ex wise so at plus five I tune the echo if it doesn't roll crit rate or crit damage and and this is for DPSS which are the ones that needs most gear right now I don't level them up more I know that you can be missing out on potential future lucky rolls however I want to at least guarantee there's one good roll on this piece before I keep going even better if it goes and has two good useful substats at plus 10 then at that point you only need one substat out of the next tree for it to be a useful piece rather than upgrading a piece that's at plus five not having a single useful substat for your character and needing it to have three out of the next four substat roles be useful for that piece to be above average in terms of useful substats useful substats vary depending on the character however for most DPSS Universal useful subsets are crit rate and crit damage and attack percent or defense percent if your character skills of Defense instead the skill damage bonus the heavy attack damage bonus basic attack damage bonus etc etc depends on how much your character relies on those abilities once again this is not necessary and can end up costing you a lot of tuners which is what happened to me when gearing dungon but as a result I got a really good build for her as you can see right here guarant guing crit on the first roll guaranteeing crit on the first roll means I only need to roll the other crit for the piece to be really really good pair that with a bit of skill damage bonus heavy attack damage bonus like just damaging abilities for my main DPS that's super good for this piece I actually rolled it to plus 10 because as we have established tree costs are very much a pain to farm and I don't want to farm that many so I was trying to like cope with this one and I guess it ended up paying off although just don't look at the last two sub stats and this this is a god piece just just cover with your hands I did the same for this piece over here I fish for crit rate and then a bit of crit damage and attack percent and this is a really good piece this final piece here is a example of how it can go wrong and bait you however there's always a chance the last roll rolls crit rate but I don't know if I'm willing to take that risk I think if it's at plus4 it only has like crit damage alone this one has attack and flat attack which doesn't make it that bad but let's say it just has crit damage and other useless stats I don't know if I would bring it to plus 25 and it's not important for me right now so I'm not going to do it but hey even with this piece at least it has one crit stat because I guaranteed it from the start but yes as a result I went broke on tuners I think I had like 40 when I first started leveling and then at the end I have like 10 which is why for Encore I didn't really minmax that hard on like fishing because yeah just everything in moderation I guess and when you're broke you got to adapt and I'm fine with this as well because we can at the end of the day feed this into a future piece as well and it's just better to have useful main stats up and running to like Chase something and have nothing in the meantime in my opinion it's all about balance and seeing how much you can get away with which is what I find fun about these resource investment games keep track of your exp and Tuners because they do go quick okay for some other ways to get Echo there are the data merge in your data Bank where you can put five Echo the Rarity is doesn't matter and you get a random Echo as a result do note that this scales off your datab bank level so if you're not someone who needs Echo right now it could be nice to save to level 20 data bank and then only use data merge because that is when you get the highest possibility of five stars anything below that is just lower chances you can also get malleable Echoes from the depth of the elusive realm store which gives you guaranteed main stats of your desired Echo and also if you buy the battle pass you start getting more forall echoes in the higher levels also I want to answer a question that some of you might have which is is it worth leveling four stars short answer is it depends but yeah I personally leveled four stars even a three star because just wanted to do more damage early game just having fun that's what matters just have fun you can be very stingy with your resources and not use them early and you should be okay without leveling Echo to get through the early game however if that brings you fun yeah sure go for it especially the tuners because once you get to Five Star Echo you can't use the earlier tuners of three star fourstar anyway right it's just a exp material that you're wasting because you're going to upgrade in the future but you can feed those pieces into future pieces anyway so I wouldn't think it's a big deal when should you start farming Echo I think you don't need to like Farm them per se but just go around killing Echo to level up your data bank which is overall just beneficial from early game just do it whenever you just need to kill monsters anyway right like essentially like I've said before how much you can Farm depends on how much time you have and hopefully this guide has helped you be more efficient equip you with all the knowledge you need to make the most out of your time spent playing if you're on the grind if you are addicted like me I'm not but if and if you're not addicted like me then just a reminder to try to take it easy sometimes don't burn out there's a long road ahead hopefully in this game we're two weeks in very excited for the future hopefully this video helped if it did please do share it um I try to make it as useful as possible and do leave a like it really helps the channel out and if you're new here subscribe for more gacha content let me know in the comments if you have any other questions also let me know what your watering waves Journey has been like so far are you enjoying the game what are you looking forward to so on and so forth bye-bye until next time nut Nation out peace [Music]
