YouTube frogs welcome to my complete guide for jinshi an incredibly elegant spectral festar in command of the Dragon Jer In weing Waves jyi operates as a rotational Frontline DPS dealing large amounts of spectro damage through multiple skill usages in a short period of time in this video I'll be teaching you how she works how to play her best weapons and Echoes to use stats to aim for what her sequence notes do and what her roles are for team building also don't forget to subscribe if you enjoyed the video I make a bunch of content for weaing waves both education and just for fun let's [Music] begin so gingi is a character we've been introduced to through the weing wave story since the beginning she's always had a connection to the Sentinel Jer which manifests as this big dragon now that she's playable in the game we as players can command her and her Dragon to deal some of the strongest sources of spectral damage that we have currently the interesting thing about Jin XI is that reading her forte in text mode or any of her text descriptions is very long and potentially overwhelming the vast majority of her kit details is placed in that middle note which is the Forte circuit and has a lengthy amount of text that I'm going to simplify for you guys so the best way to describe it is to show you a full rotation the in-game tutorial does a pretty good job explaining the basics of her kit but this is only available to those who have actually summoned her the trial itself doesn't teach you the nuances so that's what we'll cover right now so when gingi is on field doing four basic attacks will light up her e and change it into a different ability if she happens to enter field with her intro skill she can immediately have access to this enhanced e and does not have to use a basic Force string to enable it pressing the E activates her levitation mode where she can fight in midair also known as Incarnation mode Incarnation mode enhances all of her attacks to do an alternative form except her ultimate which includes new basic attacks new heavy new skill all of which now count as resonance skill damage this e also gets a reset of cooldown allowing you to use it again so you can double e from the get-go if you basic four again while in this Incarnation form she'll transform her e one final time to a dragon ability that deals AOE spectral damage in front of her putting her e on its longest coold down of 10 seconds this final e will give gingi a free outro intro skill swap out every 25 seconds incentivizing a swap heavy type of play style if you happen to have any Forte points on the Bottom bar these points will be consumed to enhance the damage of the final nuke hit from her skills Dragon adding an extra multiplier for each individual point this extra multiplier Stacks up to 50 points which is the full bar meaning this extra multiplier can double triple or even quadruple the base damage her Dragon e deals this is the strongest raw nuke from her entire kit able to exceed even her ultimates damage which is also just a big standard nuke with no extra bonuses for her actual Forte bar she generates one point when allies deal damage or two points when allies deal coordinated attack damage both of these are separate counters and have a cool down of 3 seconds if ginchi switches out with the outro skill then for the next Ally their normal damage attacks charge one point every 1 second instead of 3 seconds allowing for significantly faster ramp up time and overall just a nice boost to gin's rotational damage once her Dragon e finishes this concludes her major rotation of her e and basic attack compo which ends up lasting about 6 to 10 seconds and now is the best time for her to swap out to other party members while her cooldowns are refresh you could potentially stay on gingi during this and continue her basic attack string but this is not advised because the cool down of her e still needs to tick down and even if you get a basic four string you can't activate the E again until it's clear of cool down so that's the main gist of our game playay here's a simplified version of attack rotations that should now make a lot more sense with context so gingi will enter battle and then she'll use her Echo Plus ult combo which is optional then she'll basic four double e basic four e and then swap out so the initial Echo and ults are ideally used before her full rotation this allows for accumulation of energy and also the echo typically Buffs spectral damage when it's used this is totally optional though you can use it whenever you feel comfortable if she enters battle with her intro skill then that first basic four string is removed so you'll go Echo into ult which is optional and you'll double e immediately basic four e which is the dragon and then swap out for the Forte bar you'll generate this by using teammate abilities and coordinated attacks and then you'll consume that Forte bar when gingi does Her rotation to do massive damage with the dragon swap out and repeat like we said unleashing the Echo Plus ult at the beginning of rotation is for extra setup and DPS for the old it's DPS and allows energy to generate from her all of her eams the echo is used because usually it does give a buff to spectral damage or just general damage depending on the echo used all right onto her actual Forte nodes so leveling Priority First Forte circuit middle node this improves all sources of enhanced damage this provides a new multiplier for her entire basic attack string and also has both multipliers for her enhanced ease both types second ult or resonance Liberation third fourth and fifth is intro skill then resonance skill and then basic the base resonance skill and basic attack nodes are less useful due to her design around her intro skill if she enters battle via intro skill which you're going to be incentivized to do she'll completely skip the first e usage and first basic for string and go directly into enhanced levitation mode which only uses the multipliers from the Forte circuit so she won't use her resonance skill or basic multipliers at all and if she doesn't the first e that she uses and basic four string are much much weaker than her enhanced form overall so their damage contribution is pretty small that being said intro skill resonance skill and basic are all secondary priorities due to their small share of the pie most of her damage will be coming from her for a circuit and ultimate in general since she's a main DPS you will want to upgrade everything but definitely prioritize 40 circuit and residence Liberation first for the branch nodes backs them all out for free attack percent and free crit rate really important and then those middle notes so the first one provides free 20% spectal damage bonus and the second one provides intros skill multiplier increase which both are free sources of extra DPS play style all right so a couple of gameplay tips that I came across while clearing Tower of adversity first if jingi enters battle without intro skill she can begin her rotation with a quick E before the basic four because the initial cool down is only 3 seconds this allows potentially for four total e to be used at no downside this first e is obviously going to beat her weakest multipliers but it's still technically free extra damage before engaging in her full combo using her first e is actually a great way to play her in a quick swap team most notably with Yin ly since her base e cool down is really short quick swapping between the two characters is very natural since when you're on Jin you can quickly do an E and A couple basic attacks without needing to commit to a full rotation the second thing is that if she enters battle with her intro skill she's already going to be midair for it so if you're using the new Echo J this is not a problem because it can be summoned while midair but if you're using an echo like morning IES you won't be able to activate it midair which will force you to plunge or just not use it altogether for this reason it is heavily recommended to main Echo Jing so her rotation goes uninterrupted overall I found that achieving a near full Forte bar was pretty doable if the other team members both have coordinated attacks since gingi gets a free outro skill every time she finishes a dragony outro intro swaps are fairly common in this team and therefore Grant Forte bar Stacks every 1 second instead of 3 seconds like normal so on average you'd be able to get about 3 to six Forte bar points every 1 to 2 seconds or so depending on the hit frequency which totals to about 30 to 50 every 10 seconds or so also an important point to bring up I don't recommend forcing a full Forte bar before using her Dragon e it's efficient to always commit to a full rotation if you swap into ginshi and she intro skills giving you an immediate skip to enhance e you'll be able to notice this instantly when you swap into her if her e is glowing immediately in full fights where gingi has more intro skills than normal she'd be able to drag a KNE twice as often about but with half that Forte bar each time and this is still totally worth it because the damage output is still insane and you're also getting it more often in general the biggest advice I can give for gingi play style is to be reactive to your cooldown and pay attention to when your outro or intro skills are available weapons so gingi is a broad blade user just like GN even though it may look like she's a standard sword user so for her basic stat needs the usual crit crit damage attack spectral damage bonus are ideal with energy regen being secondary and not a musthave due to her main damaging ability coming from her upgraded skill and for General damage bonus ginshi will prioritize resident skill damage bonus because nearly 80% of her damage is categorized as resident skill let's first take a look at her signature weapon ages of harvest so 22% crit rate at level 80 scaling up to 24.3% at level 90 very nice stat stick immediately allowing crit damage for cost main stat it also grants 12% General damage bonus and 24 to 48% resident skill bonus if the intro skill is used or the base skill is used overall this weapon has really nice stats for gingi providing 24% crit rate and 60% total damage bonus using this weapon grants an immense amount of damage bonus meaning her attack percent is going to be quite low Echo may be used to compensate for this alongside specific supports and the support Echo sets for Buffs other possible weapons so unfortunately the broad blade list of weapons is pretty anti- synergistic with gin's kit we have the standard five-star lustrous razor it's all right attack secondary is the only major upside the energy regen and ult damage bonus are very minor five star aan cature broad blade is only okay as well because it only provides crit damage secondary stat its passive is completely useless for gingi the only other crit weapon four star Autumn Trace from Battle pass has attack per passive but only when dealing basic attack or heavy attack damage which is none of the case during gin's enhanced State even if you're using basic four string when she's in levitation mode it only counts as skill damage and not basic so pretty unfortunate but still useful cuz it's crit rate the only other broad blade that has usable Synergy is Helios Cleaver which is a pretty nice attack percent stat stick and therefore pretty useful for gingi only needing resident skills to Pro and of course if you've got nothing else you could consider the three star broad blade of Knight which is another raw attack per stat stick my overall recommendations basically boils down to this ages of harvest signature any five star for its raw stats Autumn Trace just for the crit rate which is similar to the Helios Cleaver and then three star broad blade of Knight Echoes so no Sur for gingi she's a main DPS dealing spectro damage so she's going five piece spectro alternative choice is five piece attack set which is the lingering tune set but overall this will always be weaker than 5piece spectro gingi will be gaining up to 40% spectro damage from her 5pie Spectra set but 30% of it does require an intros skill activation this highly incentivizes an intros skill heavy play style for chinchi at least before committing to her entire rotation and using the dragon beam five pce attack set just provides 10 to 30% attack and a bonus to outro skill damage bonus unfortunately ji's outro skill is not a damage ability so the 5p set is just for the attack stat moving on to stat builds so we have the 44 and then we have the 433 so you can run 44 this will require both J and morning IES for cost it's easier to build but overall weaker build and then we have 433 which is endgame build with proper balanced stats for the active Echo to use always JEA since it can be used midair this is very important since gingi's intro skill like we mentioned puts her in battle in midair she's not a quick swap heavy character as well so there's no need to minmax a quick swappable echo or gingi since J is a summon and not a transform she can immediately use her own abilities the second after she summons J for No Time loss okay so for main stats if you have a crit rate weapon which is the signature or Autumn Trace always run for cost crit damage if you don't you're most likely going to run a crit rate for the for cost or a 44 build two crit damage three attack is the usual very rarely will you need a for cost crit rate is if you're using a signature weapon or battle pass if you're using a non- crit weapon you are going to need to have one main stat crit rate otherwise you're going to hover about 50% if you have perfect sub stats you might be able to run two crit damage for cost but that would require very high crit rate rolls on every single piece 433 build so for this signature weapon battle Pass Run crit damage Main and then the three cost will be spectral or attack for the non- crit weapon d change the crit damage for cost into crit rate for both of these builds attack three cost is equally as strong as spectro 3 cost since gin's complete build has a large amount of built-in spectro damage if you don't even have a spectro three cost it's even okay to potentially run a double attack three cost prioritize substance in those cases if you're having trouble deciding which three cost main stand to use for substance prioritize obviously crit rate and crit damage resident skill damage as well and then attack percent and energy regen recommend minut stats so at the time of recording we're still a bit from endgame in weaing waves but we are able to get characters in weapons to level 80 at u50 Plus for this reason take the session with a grain of salt and if you're watching this in the future where level 90 is the norm expect the attack to be slightly higher and one extra roll of Creator crit damage due to the weapon getting its last Ascension currently these are my stats as a level 80 genin and level 80 signature weapon running 433 with double spectral main stat by attack is on the lower side of 1750 with 70% crit rate as expected and crit damage at about 267 per. so for both of these values I'd expect keeping crit rate above 70% and keeping crit damage above 250% but this is only if you're running a crit weapon if you don't have a crit weapon then expect the crit damage to be about 200% my current energy regen is unfortunately base 100% if she had about 130% or higher she'd be able to ult nearly every full 12se second rotation but but currently I just play by ear and use it at the beginning of rotation if available if you plan on doing a 44 build with both J and morning IES expect a gain of about 22 crit rate or 44 crit damage you can optimize around a 44 build to be about 80 crit rate and about 250 to 300 crit damage overall gingi is a stereotypical main DPS so her stat ranges are just going to be your common damage dealer crit stats sequence notes so overall gingi's gameplay is very rotation focused for optimal DPS and her sequence nodes aim to not only buff all sources of her damage but also reduce the requirements to achieve maximum damage output on her Dragon e S1 using her normal combos gives her final Dragon e a 20% damage boost stacking up to four times so it's basically a 80% damage boost to the final e for greater screenshot damage S2 so this gives ginshi a full Forte bar if she's fully out of combat for 4 seconds meaning she'll be able to activate her highest multiplier Dragon e at the beginning of the fight unfortunately the wording is a little awkward and sounds like she's able to always get a full bar when she's swapped off field but it turns out she only gets this if your full party is completely out of combat for 4 seconds so in difficult content like Tower of adversity this will only benefit you at the start of the fight S3 free attack percent after using her intro skill Stacks twice for up to 50% attack and lasts for 20 seconds S4 after using either Dragon ability which is her final eform or her ultimate all teammates gain a 20% damage bonus buff for 20 seconds S5 her ult gains a damage multiplier boost to help it match the strength of her Dragon e very simple and finally S6 her Dragon e gains a buff both off its base multiplier and per stack of her forte bar massively increasing its total DPS output so overall gin she's sequence notes give her quite a bit of fire power at all stages whether it's pure damage or quality of life with noticeable Improvement at S1 s S2 S5 and S6 team comps so gin's strongest teammates are going to be those that can increase her forte bar as fast as possible meaning coordinated attackers we can also try to stick to the trio meta of main DPS sub DPS and support for the best balance of Buffs and onfield off Field Time your support unit will always be running rejuvenating glow and the sub DPS can either run five-piece Moonlight clouds or run their personal five piece set that Buffs their attribute coordinated attackers our first priority because gingi's Forte bar generation provides the largest impact to her DPS way more than the usual damage bonus after coordinated attackers you can consider units that buff resident skill damage like taoi and other utility units like spectral MC for their time stop outro for my own recommendations in this video we're going to Target the coordinated attackers because we have a good team archetype that fits that template but also is a proper team comp the current team that I've been running around with is chinchi yinin and Verina Verina is her best true support she's able to run five-piece rejuvenating glow has very low onfield time she heals she has fast concerto energy generation for outro skills and has a coordinate attack on her ult there's so much utility in verina's kit that is almost a must have to pair with ginchi for optimal gameplay pair with Verina is yinlin as the unit released right before gingi and is a dedicated sub DPS with coordinated attacks as well as a quick swapper in this part particular team comp jinshi and Yin Lin are constantly quick swapping between each other until yinlin has full Forte bar and is able to set up her punishment Mark once that is set up immediately swap it to Verina for full buff activation and Echo usage generate enough concerto energy for outro skill and intros skill into ginchi for a full rotation once gin's rotation is complete you can swap back into Yin Lin and continue quick swapping for Forte bar generation because gin's rotation gives her a free outro skill you'll be able to intro skill into yinlin which will softly generate her forte bar give it a little extra boost making the rotation a little smoother if yinlin has outro skill ready early while you're doing the quick swapping you can skip trying to generate her Mark early and full send into a mini Ginger combo for Less damage this is still optimal since you'll have about half Forte bar when this happens and this usually doesn't interfere with the rest of the team's rotation this team comp with level 80 ginshi and ginlin with their signature weapons was able to three star the level 100 Tempest mempis and two star the monkey with good RNG cleaner rotations there was potential for me to three star the monkey as well now the most impressive thing about this team was gin's raw damage potential with proper combo executions jinshi was easily able to dish out 100 to 180k dragones at s0 and R1 Cal weapon also able to dish out 70,000 ultimates on a very quick rotation and another interesting benefit of this team is that since gingi is fighting in midair most of the time there are actually lots of enemy attacks that just won't actually hit her this enables her to easily get her full combo off without being interrupted or staggered often now if you don't have yinlin which is totally okay you can still opt for other coordinated attackers like Yen Wu or Mory for a sub DPS like Mory though I'd really recommend S4 Mory to increase his alteration from 10 seconds to 17 seconds if you have S4 then he's really solid Choice as a sub DPS so optim gingi is on a team whose main purpose is to set up coordinated attacks I find that pairing with Vina is a near musthave but if you don't want to or are already using her on another team you can instead choose a full glass Cannon team comp with double sub DPS cordinated attackers regardless I think that gingi has a very strong main DPS presence that engages in a really fun play style and that wraps everything up overall I think ging's damage output is actually insane capable of full nuking HP bars with her Dragon e while being completely in midair the only thing that's really necessary to get her rolling is a support Verina which hopefully you've gotten from the five-star selector if I miss anything about her or new things are discovered let me know in the comments and I'll compile them in the pin comment as always thank you guys very much for watching good luck pulling for ginchi and we'll see you next time take care VI [Music]
