[Music] praise the name of the lord let's put our uh our declaration in the room and then we're going to see what god is going to do the power of god is in this place and um as oft as i tell you i love being in new york city so we're going to see what the lord does i've not uh recovered from breathe and so we're going to try to try this again and and see what happens are you ready come on god is exalted i didn't hear you god is exalted the devil is defeated and i've got the victory come on one more time god is exalted the devil's defeated and i've got the victory all right one more time like you got the holy ghost god is exalted the devil is defeated and i've got the victory if you believe that this time next year your life will look nothing like what it looks like today go ahead and praise him for one year later obey me okay i said praise him for one year later i'm not trying to scream yet but i said praise him because you're not where you was this time last year and if god is faithful this time next year god bless you you can be seated in the presence of the lord grace and peace to you from god our father in the name of jesus who is the very christ of god it is an honor to be here and i'm excited to be setting a new trend uh with campus 11 to create more continuity and community so i'm so excited about everything you're doing shout out to all of you that are making tribes do what they do can we just shout for our tribe hopes and traveling considering that we are on the return of uh gradually rephasing to what we're going to be doing here it is very important we tap into tribes you'll hear more about why that is in a few but it's very important that you utilize those sources of connection uh for this critical season in your life it meant so if you haven't found one then find one the lord put some of my heart about when i'm making my trips to new york that i should just invite for pastors either who are in relationship with us or not just come and watch how we do it i got a whole slew of them over there 11 can we stand and acknowledge every ministry gift that's here with us today [Music] [Applause] thank you to all of you [Music] [Applause] the lord is kind okay um we've got some work to do tonight and i probably could find a couple shout points but i i'm on very specific assignment this is something that i preach often at the headquarters church that i've never brought here but i want to start with this as we go into our season of meeting ups okay before we do that i dare not uh acknowledge my leadership team here from 11 all that you do all of you that serve and that deal with this can we give it up for our servant leaders here and come on for our volunteers please i say clap for my volunteers we're in a generation where you can't flush a toilet without an invoice come on praise god for some volunteers 299 a flush [Music] job chapter in the one first through the 12th verse and king james version this is going to be one of those messages that i preach through and then i'll give you the title at the end so i am going to be voluntarily violating a lot of homiletic principle ask me why because i don't care uh this is in the king james version and it says there was a man in the land of us whose name was job and that man was perfect he was upright and one that feared god he has skewed evil and they were born unto him seven sons and three daughters his substance also were seven thousand sheep three thousand camels and five hundred yoga boxing and the 500 she ashes yeah whatever that is and a very great household so that this man was the greatest of all men on the east and his sons wouldn't feast it in their houses every one of his day and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and drink with him and it was so that when the days of their feasting were gone when the day of their feasting was gone what verse am i at fine went about that job sent and sanctified them and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them offered job said it may be that my sons have sinned and cursed god in their hearts thus did job continually now there was a day when the sons of god came to present themselves before the lord and satan came also among them and the lord said unto satan from whence cometh thou and then satan answered and said from going to and fro in the earth and walking up and down in it and the lord said to satan as i considered my servant job that there is none like him in the earth a perfect man an upright man one that feareth god and escheweth not evil then satan answered the lord and said dot job fear god for naught has not thou made a hedge about him and his house and about all that he hath on every side thou has blessed the work of his hands and his substance is increased in the land but put forth find hand now and touch all that he has and he will curse you to your face we're landing here but the lord said unto satan behold all that he had is in thy power only don't put your hands on him so satan went from the presence of the lord father help me to preach this in jesus name amen amen thank you so very kindly gentlemen gentlemen uh the book of job is a very very intriguing book historically because mainly uh people have been struggling for decades now to figure out its placement and in order in terms of how it was written and most intelligent scholars know that job was written or is older than the construction of the book of genesis and so when you're dealing with anything in the book of job we're dealing with definite insights into the possibilities that this could have been written or recorded or remembered in some mid-edenic phase somewhere in between adam and isaac in that whole era so we don't quite know exactly what happened that got those books arranged in the way they did but we know that the book of job is older the reason this is significant for you to know is that anything that we learn in the book of job in his dialogues and epilogues and the rhetorics and the monologues it's all old stuff so it's not a new issue that satan was making requirement of things in the earth say yes a part of what he does is ask for people you know there's a whole lot we can learn from the devil and one of them is he at least asks for what he wants uh the bible says that he came asking for peter remember he asks for job and so one of the things that the man likes to do is make first dibs on whoever is distracted and so we see all of this in the book of ecclesia in the book of job but it's reiterated all throughout the scriptures and so i love the story of job because the way we preach it is that this is how god punishes people but at the end of the book what we really do notice and see was god was never trying to punish him he was always trying to promote him now that brings us to an interesting point because it means that when god is trying to promote you're probably going to feel very punished but but but but if you if you focus say yes and press into the pressure you'll eventually see the point of it i i want to correct some stuff um the new testament as you know it didn't change god and the old testament was not enough to reveal him that's exactly why we have jesus because he was god in flesh he revealed it a part of what that means is that god was not some hormonal inconsistent angry schizophrenic deity that killed everybody that pissed him off and then all of a sudden when the words turned red in your bible he became nice and loving no god has been what god is how god is from days past till now now here's what i'm going to let you see you are being called under watch this a new season of divine protection i want to start with the issue of protection there's a whole bunch of conversations open up around the subject of safety relational safety business safety leadership safety and there are so many people that are in an anxiety issue over the subject of safety that they've not done their due diligence to do very scriptural things one of which is submit yourself and and that doesn't have anything to do with being controlled or being told what to do but making yourself vulnerable say yeah now i love the fact that satan went asking for who he could touch because god allows men to be tested at the request of their enemy when the enemy decides that you only who you are because of stuff and because of your mixture and your indecision god will allow a man to be tested at the request of his adversary and so as adversary came and he started asking and so there's a couple of things we've got to correct as we preach the story of job number one the man was prosperous when you look in bible uh movies and and cartoons on this job looks sick and feeble and no he was a ruler a king uh and probably in those days he didn't have very much uh competition or there wasn't an industry that he couldn't reign in because he had stuff then the bible says he walked up right you couldn't go on the better business bureau and find some bad reviews about how his company don't do the sandwich bag right and you couldn't make a complaint about him because he walked up right interesting thought the third thing we see is that he shunned evil he didn't just walk upright but if it looked evil if it looked like it was going to reproach him let me teach you this because the strongest enemy against riches and revelation is reproached there are people who have a lot of deep stuff to say from god but they're not believable people so we can't even really receive the message even though it may be true because what your behavior is say reproach now we need a whole nother lesson about reproach it's not about you not being able to wear what you want to wear it's about being misdefined as something you are not is called reproach and this generation loves to be able to defend their right to do what they want to do rather than just do away with the unnecessary so that what's in me can really be seen he had an eye for reproach an eye for reproach so this is something that's very interesting down the convol the conversation between god or elohim and lucifer we don't know exactly what lucifer was doing before then what we do know is that this is an early appointment say scheduled say scheduled because this happened to job but it happens to you all the time that there's going to be a schedule request for your attention for your assets for your assignment and so he comes this actually happens and then god starts allowing for some intriguing conversation to happen and here is where it went satan told the lord the way he looks at you is going to change he's going to not be devotional he's going to lose his devotion he's going to walk away from everything if you take his stuff but then here is how we know where the secret went and you're going to be just a bit uncomfortable when god answered him the reply from satan was this have you not hedged him the only reference point that satan gave god for his reasoning for being able to get him was because he could see the hedge he saw who was under divine protection now let's just take a minor caveat i wonder how many of you are not in your potential because you fear not being protected how many of you don't obey certain principles that are protective in nature because you fear not being protected or wanting it and not having it be so now that we're going to look at this in in the the language of our text one of the things that we see is he uses this phrase hedge and we only this phrase hedge and we only saw one other place in the bible where it was in the garden so there's there were a network of protective shrubs that would that would protect stuff from getting in ecclesiastes 10 and 8 write it down real quick this is a very important principle and i'm using this out of job to hit you whoso breaketh the hedge the serpent will bite so we got a couple of examples now when when when and where the hedge is destroyed somebody's going to be bit so it makes sense that in every place we were talking about this word hedge we also saw something from hell does that make sense and so we're looking at what satan saw and why he made a requirement of him and then he responds by saying you put a hedge around about him so we're looking at the possibility of some type of because it could not have been that satan was telling jehovah you put a garden around him that's what's protecting him or you grew some some collard greens around him and that's what's keeping me away he had to be talking about something that resembled a protective resource in a circular motion by the form of people now here is where we're going to get uncomfortable have you like recently taken a real look at who is around you come on we'll shout let's be honest have you really taken a thorough evaluation of who's got access to you and who does not appreciate audience with you are you are you in a real space and the reason why i'm bringing this up is this is not relationship choices it's warfare choices who who you have in your corner is everything and it determines how well you can handle who's on the opposing side there are a lot of people who are overwhelmed by their enemies because they lack real friends and the real truth is if you had friends why y'all uncomfortable we'll shout in a minute if you had real friends you'd be less distracted by the enemies because the job of the friend is to help you recover and rebound from the lies that's going on over there so if you're struggling with the consistent attack lift your hands and say from a snake it could be that you broke the heads oh yeah i'm working in here and so he responds with this issue of hedge and then god says to him just breaking this out god says here i'm going to make a deal with you and then i'm going to take this a little deeper for you i'm going to make a deal with you take his house take his car uh uh uh put whatever you're going to do you will not put your hand against him take his stuff that's where that stuff it but but if you put your hand on them it's only because i took mine off and i'm not taking my hand off of them remember lucifer acts please take your hand off just lift your hands and say he didn't take his hand off no he he's not going to ever do that now that brings us into greater contradiction if he would not take his hand off how am i going through hell because god was very clear i'm not moving my hand off of him but then he started to go through hell god can have his hand on you when you're going through hell he could very much be the reason why you've not been consumed by the intensity of what's going on around you throw your hands up and say it's still on me so we're defining biblical words hedge a network that has to grow be fed it's like a plant i um do you all remember them uh pastor shimon your country on the on the side of certain buildings people grow these wild rebellious i think pointless vines that just go from everlasting to everlasting and then they seem like this don't go nowhere i feel like every grandmother i've ever had would just have them hanging down and i just didn't get it it's just it's just old to me you know but um i noticed that that the death of one was the death of another and the death of another was the eventual death of another and so i started to understand pay attention now how this concept in job one about what god had around job that prevented him from going crazy although he had a right to what was it it was the power of connections the literary structure in the book of job is a conversation between god angels god luke the fallen angel and the rest of it is joel to himself and job and three friends this concept is making sense because we've got this issue of hedging and connecting we got this issue of job and this three unit warfare tactic and support system and we got all of these conversations there only for at the end of the book him to say i lost my mind so we've got to look into what the heck this is and how it's applicable to you and why when there's a request for your life why does satan see the hedge now here is a caveat if satan is looking at your life your adversaries that that opposes you and sees no hedge and you're living nakedly so to speak through life you may be going through unnecessary warfare because of what you won't grow around you come on we'll shout in a minute open up i've got to be a pastor tonight we've we've got to really examine what's growing around us and why for example jesus says i am the vine another hedge phrase ye are the branches another hedge phrase and apart from me you can't do nothing jesus was saying if you disconnect from me the source that grows because here's our problem we're so used to being attached to stuff that stopped growing a long time ago that when we get to something that actually grows we're dealing with a lack of comfort or lack of discomfort because we're not used to growing we want to grow we say we want to grow but when growth starts to come we don't do what it needs to do to stay connected the other formula is it means that in order for something to grow it's got to be lift your hands and say connected you show me one thing that grows and is not connected even your cancers grow because of what it's attached to so i don't understand our problem with real connectedness now since you're quiet i'm about to whip you y'all and these ministry friendships it's fake where the only time y'all call each other is when you got an event going on y'all and these church pew partner friendships where you shout with people that you resentful of y'all at the altar together dipping and tipping together but don't like each other come on let's be real we are not connected and we've got to stop preaching over the fact that we got people problems we got relationship issues i don't care i'm not scared of you we're too afraid of nakedness to grow cutting to grow and we love fake hugs but we hate wounds from a friend we hate being offended and not being able to move on but when you got a hedge we may argue but we're gonna stake and the word of the lord is you ain't got no hedge you got a bunch of potted plants around you because when the storm comes i'm working in here when you feel weak in the knees you can barely speak you won't paul lift your hands and say a hedge i've never seen god unhedge the thing that he was sending i've never seen him send a man into a danger he wasn't already ready for so the devil likes to amplify and magnify anything you are afraid of but let me liberate you you have been perfectly built your word is life for everything you'll ever go through you have been perfectly designed in the name of jesus shut up devil no nervous breakdowns in here we were built for this we were designed for this everything from my pain tolerance to my height to my name come on put your hands on your chest and say i'm already ready so job's life has been looking at this issue and he has been looking at these concepts because all of these people are using this this concept of being hedged you know when we pray in church we always talk about lord for the hedge of protection what does that look like what do you mean when you say give me a head of protection and then with the same now say i don't like people what do you mean when you say lord put a hedge around here and you don't answer your phone how how do you want a hedge of protection being anti-social come on out of that devil we're about to move in a new level of divine protection some of the devils you've got to bind are because of who you can't talk to maybe your last fall was an unhad conversation because nothing around you was safe why do i feel a chill in here nothing around you was safe enough for you to say i'm about to be seduced on purpose open your mouth say a hedge i want to know where you go when you feel weak come on don't lie to me i know you're not worshiping and talking in that type of tongue every day there's going to be a moment when you're discouraged and you're depressed and you want to live in your flesh you don't want to be reverent you don't want to be evangelist skipping prophetess i want to be me and i want to be all the me i want i ain't got nobody to call scream a hedge i didn't hear you a hedge because i don't want you walking out of here thinking this is optional this is an issue of warfare and at every level of your influence and your success you got to look around and see what's growing on around me cause i went through too much hell to let the snake come and take what i've been working on i want a hedge not a facebook one let me get to my come on out of here devil not a tick tock one up we're not gonna be social on social media you're not about to get no photo ops to try to use a character that you didn't develop we need real hedges watch me picture or not sit by me or not i just know we connected and if it's one in the morning and i'm mad i know where to go open your mouth say three so we see what a hedge is here is the principle a hedge around the gift a hedge around the integrity a hedge around that's what really makes the gift work the devil ain't afraid of gifts he's afraid of authority it's that gift that's under command i want to know where the edge is around this gift that's what satan sees when he wants to devour you he looks around to see who's hedged and who's not can i take us deeper because i'm hoping to preach you out of your personality and into some principles that'll save your life i'm hoping to call you out of your enneagram and your personality tests to make you submit come on out of here make you submit to the principles of the scriptures you want to be wealthy you got to have a hedge you want to grow you got to have a hedge if you want to grow it anyway and things are dying around you you need to figure out where's the bridge we saw this same principle and the serpent came in genesis 3 and we saw this threefold issue happening of of going through layers and burials of protection now i don't think satan had just arrived in eden by the time adam saw him i think he had been there he had to have been there in the same way he went roaming to and fro in those days i think that's what he was doing in eden so much so that after his conversation pay attention you got to be careful who has your ear i'm preaching so you know the most dangerous people in any church is whoever the pastor trusts whoever chill in here there are people who warn the war over that ear of their leader so they can say i'm not in charge but really you are your herod's wife lord have mercy the one who said give me the head of the prophet and he abandoned his authority to listen to who had his ear i feel a chill in here they don't want a title they want that ear they don't want to be ordained they want that ear they want to be able to vicariously move their agenda out of order but in the name of jesus be set free from ear warfare may every lock on your ear every trap against your ear be seven now so he went in genesis and started talking because that's how every trap come on we're going to go deep every trap starts with that conversation that that's why you got to be real careful every time you get a new word about your future the next test is going to be flirt it will be the test of the flirt and when you start come on open up i'm not just talking about him them or those i'm talking about with life you with your career with your time is a flirtatious test every time god moves somebody to the future he gotta see what they're willing to eat what they're willing to sleep with who they want to walk with because what's around you can kill what's in you and so if i push you to the next level with the wrong hedge it could get dangerous he did it to job and he's doing it to you some principles that you've got to understand about three i just gave you the scripture that says if you break the heads the serpent bites some of my greatest mistakes were in my loneliest days maybe you weren't stupid you were just alone come on open up and whoever was with you was just available so fake love is better than no love at all and so i'm gonna give it up come on and open up and i'm gonna do what i can't get caught for because the real truth is i know the truth i see your devils now but i'm alone loneliness loves leadership it loves to be able to take a hold of the steering wheel on your decisions and hypnotize you because of what you feel i set a hedge a hedge so now i'm looking at this principle come on i got a little bit of time is this okay prophet jesus is being witness with you okay all right thank you okay when you're dealing with what happened with the serpent and joel look at the same thing with adam i've been looking for you where you at um i heard your voice uh i ran and i heard and he also noticed his nakedness he noticed watch me that he was vulnerable do you know what's in the way of a lot of your healing have you thought about why you desire a closeness that you just can't get have you ever really thought about why you're into open up real shot at the end while your intimacy deficits are so huge because richie loneliness is not about who's around you it's about who understands watch me and even when they don't understand they want to so we don't have to have the same opinions watch me but i'ma love you enough to ask the right questions in the name of jesus i call you out of silence why do i feel a chill in here silent non-retributing relationships that only take and don't deposit i declare that account is closed that season is over and if you can't lift me i'm leaving you i want to hedge around you are better than one if i'm worse because of you i'm running from you two are better than one if one pause the other will open up and say lift him i know what's what's called to me how many of you just throw your hands up old school have been delivered from anything just let me see i don't i don't care what i'm just saying did something leave your life before way way way way do you still have the same coping mechanisms do you still have self-hatred i know you need more stuff but are you where you were right when you guys saw no i'm not a whole no mo no i'm not on drugs no more no i'm not suicidal no more shout for what you used to be i can hear you i want every x everything i'm still something i'm just not that no more lift your hands and say delivered i said deliver lord have mercy we ain't done one of them in a long time i said i'm delivered and not have a hedge you know how many devils left your life and then came back because you didn't feel the vacancies that them devils you see demons are not just in your life quiet and making rope and quilt they're talking to you they're training you some of them devils open up some of them are actually supporting you and celebrating you in deception and they don't love you enough open your mouth they don't love you enough to give you the wisdom that you don't even want i have seen people get much worse see job's story was he got better because he went through hell with a hedge the hedge does not mean there ain't going to be no hell it just means that there's a fourth man in the fire now the bible say a threefold core is not easily broken y'all mad it's okay come on the threefold core is not easily broken we're still getting these concepts about hedging and hedging and maybe what was your uh conversations about in this and the fall off the fall-off job's story started with a little more who went away in the land of us and we now see him narrowing it off lift your hands right now i liberate you from the pressure of having more friends than you can handle i liberate you from the guilt of only being able to handle two at the most three you don't have to be everybody's friend you don't owe it to everybody to return a call that's not your burden to have and you also never again have to live up to silent expectations those that are mad and not grown enough to say nothing get delivered from those leech relationships shout out to hedge where there's no hedge the leeches work perfectly peter james john all y'all come and follow me and i'm gonna make you something say a hedge we'll shout it in a minute but but i want you to get this because some of them jokers around you are stealing from you time effort the most important real estate in your life is your brain and there are people that live there and don't talk to you shout ahead somebody that you can be vulnerable with because you know they're not secretly competing with you i know you want me to turn my plot they're in there but you like company irrespective of what quality it is so here's how it works the greater the gift the stronger the hedge job needed that type of hedge because of everything he had you got to be careful i'm going to take my time now be watchful of who finds you when you finally look like you come on let's bust the devil open to the white me negro you didn't want me till i look successful i want to know who's going to walk with me in seed for who's going to be with me when i don't look like what i'm going to be keep that same energy over there i got a hedge i don't need a fan shout hallelujah i love my gifts so i need a hedge i love my peace so i need a hedge i love my wife and if she don't check me the heads will plop those hands for a hedge [Applause] lemon i feel like preaching now give me 12 of them and i'ma change the world give me 12 of them remind me of my chicken and and i'm going to spread the gospel give me 12 of them and i'm going to do more in three years been what y'all have been doing all this century from the beginning i just give me 12. hallelujah and i don't even want them to look professional if they have part-time jobs or if they're working with a mama or if they love to go fishing give me 12 of them hey 12. hey rabbi i got a lot to teach you i got a lot to show you i see what's in here you know matthew's gospel is a little different from the other gospel in the gospel of matthew the bible said that there was that official watch me and jesus said thou art simon you are now peter and upon this rock but but oh no no and loose version of it the bible said when he walked up on simon for the first time he called him peter from the first time he saw him now the time he said it in front of the brothers was not the first time he heard it peter was always in there he just didn't have a hedge and who you really are is in you now and your potential is going to be the work of those around you shout a hedge come on boys let's move but but hey peter james john come here meet me up on this mountain no be good y'all go ahead i'm gonna take them up you got to be careful about the decisions you make when you feel like you're going up oh come on i'm opening when you feel just in your stomach something is about to change i don't know what it is i don't have signs of it but i can feel promote promotion has a aura it comes around you when you said something dramatic is about to happen can i prophesy quantum leaps over you radical changes in your life god is getting ready to take you to another place but you need a seat belt you need somebody that's going to hold you accountable when your money starts changing nothing changes the human anatomy like money and alcohol money and alcohol will reach for your real self and make everybody see what your behavior screamer hedge and jesus chooses these three and they go up to a mouth called transfiguration and and he changes how he is he takes off the the glory to god the the rabbi had and the and the coach had and all of that and the bible says they see through him you cannot have anyone in your hedge who you don't trust to see through you can i give you something deep i don't care if you quiet inhale exhale if i don't know your fears i don't even know that we love each other [Music] they're people that you tell you love that you would never give your fear to be very specific the real sign of intimacy is not that i know what you like i want to know what you're afraid of because you don't need my support let me in here i'll bust in here you don't need my support around your strengths it's their weaknesses why y'all quiet and if you can't show them your weaknesses why in the world are they around you i can tell how mature you are by who impresses you i can tell how mature you are by looking at your phone bill and how many minutes you delicate dedicate to folly jesus let three people see through him but he had 12 around them it's okay to have a group and to be social it is not okay to give everybody your vulnerability now nobody is ever really connected at the place that's whole there's a reason why jesus left his side open connection was important to him and if we can't see what hurts you that's the principle there here's my other favorite story about this and i want you to keep seeing this as a warfare issue uh bp find somebody move this for me all right who over here is good at acting don't be shy give me a uh come here i pay attention you come here there's a story in the book of acts that we all uh ignore when we're thinking about protective resources i'm gonna give you this i'm gonna give you some practice two over here three over there there's a story that we overlook very often in the book of acts very often and it's easy to miss pastor aaron because we preach the chapters before and after because we miss how significant this is and paul lived a very traumatic life screamed the word hedge there was always some drama some detail some updates i mean you got shipwrecks you got wars with real life witches and you've got arguments with other apostles i mean a dramatic life if you don't like trauma say no to ministry it's it's just a dramatic i mean it's just happening this story though is one that caught me past the roof and because i've never paid attention to the fact that uh paul died he had said some stuff in the book of acts made the city rulers mad start throwing rocks after just starting to bust the other side of his head okay chris receive the rod just jump at the rocket just hitting your head john come on let me go come on all right and i throw the big one i'll do it right there bam there you go okay there you go here's exactly what the scriptures say are you ready about you ready for this the bible said that paul was dead i i don't know the method that they used to verify but in their mind they had just killed him now they killed him by the rock of persecution i wonder who you're murdering cause you won't shut up i wonder whose purpose you're ruining cause you always got a rock in your hand nobody asked you if you liked her shoes did nobody ask you what you thought about his ministry my lord have mercy yo help me in here god dawg business the messiest people in the world are the brokest people in the world and they can't make money because they talk too much throw your hands up and say shut up they killed him that stuff can kill people the pressure of it the challenge of it he died from block trauma apparently one of the city leaders got down there and said well we lost paul the adversary was like okay we're gonna drag him out i love your word and we're gonna move him there but there were some disciples on the other side attention to me and the bible said that there was three of them change your mind come over here yeah because they flip on you too there are people who like you now there used to be those that i'm working in here there are people who was waiting to see if they could do relationship chess to see who you can get close to so they don't miss their turn bible said the disciples around him got around him and while they were trying to figure a strategy on how to get them out the bible say once they grab hands link around each other the bible said paul's woke up get up get up get up get up he was resurrected in the middle of the circle pay attention some of you don't ever have to die if you got the right people around you if you've got them around you it don't matter who in hell is against you when you've got a real you that you don't think is as strong as what it all you have confidence about stuff that the enemy is afraid of you know how i know the devil is most nervous over the thing that he attacks the most in your life so when you don't know where god is look at what hell keeps hitting that's what the devil don't want you to ever see because if you tap into what intimidates hell then you're great at threatening i can't wait for you to know who you are it's a shame the devil's beating up on you because he know your identity and you still won't settle in it a hedge can look at something that you think is a talent and then everybody knows how to do it and a real hedge will be like no you've got to cultivate that there's something there you're not going to be silent when your adversaries are alive go unto you that have quiet friends and loud enemies the cross uh the bible said curse is he that hangs on the tree i got theories about all of this meaning about hedging and god does nothing without his team everything he does is god the father god the son and god the holy ghost and do they agree when it's good and and so we're looking at the cross the traditional latin crosses we know it where i can preach every wound that matter it is significant to know this though jesus life showed closeness proximities of three even in his death on the cross he could have died alone there were two by him you need at least three my theory is this and i'm letting you go because i want you to receive this in your life i'm prophesying fresh relationships even fresh anointings on all relationships growth and around those richness you will be more wealthy relationally than you've ever been in your life i have a theory at the top of the cross there was the head of jesus whoa whoa to any head that has no head jesus christ was the head of the church and showed us in that headship it's amazing how many people are okay with functioning with no headshift i'm talking to you about divine accountability and protection the more gifted you are the more important this is so this is what i consider your superior now everybody or most people know i have a military story my father taught me that every man needs somebody in their lives that they say yes sir to now say it's crazy say it's weird but that's what you get for dating a boy who didn't have a man in his life and you had to live changing his diapers making excuses for his manhood because you thought you could love him into being one men need men he smacked you upside your head who you called shaniqua girl he hit me she gonna come over there and win meal just like you but if your husband got ahead lord help me preach in here he'll be able to know negro you've been at church seven days this week go home and lay by your wife you go from one man to another your daddy brings you to the altar another one takes you away and he's not supposed to have men in his life where the girls can go after the ceremony let me pull out of that a superior i don't care how big or wealthy or rich i get i'm gonna have somebody i say yes sir too i don't care how much money that's in my bank account how many stuff i own i'll never live without somebody i can say yes sir too even if they say that's too much i understand authority and i think there are certain things the lord gives me because of what i'm under so i think that's the first level of the hedge who who can check me if they find out i'm selling crack who who can my wife paul shimmy and scared in the bathroom because i'm running around the house with a fire extinguisher about to kill her who can pull up and say boy stop come on who is this person who is this person that when you are in a conflict either between you and a peer or you and somebody else can acknowledge the fight that you are both right and still wrong who can be objective enough to understand you watch me and still not agree see i can understand where you're coming from but it don't make you right just cause you hurt a superior somebody i know this is a lot i'm i'm but but but somebody who can help me with with what reproach is so that watch me if i'm living uh uh obstinate in opposite ways and my gift has no protection who has the authority to help me guard my gift a superior i don't care he's a mentor pastor coach missionary mother but somebody up somebody up one of the greatest parts of my testimony with my wife is that she had a mentor and there were things i was complaining about that i almost made the temptation to try to change her but can i give you a word you're not ever changing nobody you don't have it in you to change them you can encourage it you can support it but you can't be the one doing it one to you who are in the ring for other people's fights and they taking a time coming down the aisle don't exhaust yourself fighting wars on the behalf of people that don't want to fight then you need brothers keep me on my time please you need brothers and if you're a woman who walk around here talking about you don't like women you need counseling come on the prophecy is the plumbing if you sit down when you go to the washroom you need other women in your life you a woman and you ain't got no sisters no women they mad at me they can't tell you stop talking to that man like that no sisters that can say you got a stank attitude and nobody cares about how well you sing a sister watch me that won't be impressed i want to know is there anybody that's still okay with not having to be wonderful in front of everybody some of the most hated people in the world are women with lipstick on their teeth nobody loved you enough to say honey wipe it off friends are a mirror friends are a mirror friends are a mirror friends are a mirror remind you of the past and they say i know the real you you then went to that church start talking to them they're talking i know the real you wrong you know the old me and the old me was never the real me but now i've been set free cause i got a hedge a brother will free you a brother will have you come over to his house and say i'm about to vent i'm going to use obscenities and correct me at the end you need a brother that you give the right to disagree with you a sister who does not emotionally threaten you with their distance because you dislike something it's witchcraft and control you should not preach pastor mary have kids if you are a man with no brothers the prison system in america has become what brothers should have been how in the world does islam have a greater concept of brotherhood than those of us that talk in tongues i'm not going to even get into how they pray three times a day and we still trying to struggle to get you to one hour a week we'll save that for later you look at that entire organization built on the concept of brotherhood gangs get it fraternities and sororities get it the devil gets it when an unclean spirit goes out of a man he goes through dry places looking for his heads making sure that when he gets back to you his stuff is secure he sees your life is his real estate your purpose is his property and when you cast him out he gonna get his boys why are you by yourself the devil is smart i'ma go and look i'm going to get seven more stronger he was okay with having buddies around him who did stuff that he didn't watch it when you start winning and your friends are not clapping you have a betrayal pending ma'am if they don't clap when you win it's cause they want what you got you don't need to be praying about housing car maybe you should sit with that job a little while longer maybe your new prayer needs to be god i need some brothers i i want i want some some peers some people that i don't have to bring my resume in front of trust i know you want a hug there's gonna come a moment where you're gonna need a knife there's a lot of people who lie and say hey i'm gonna be poured into but what i've learned is they really want in attention they don't want instruction you got to have somebody who can go over your plans your plans of warfare it's like hey consider this look at that give yourself room now here's the problem if your leader does it to you and your brothers do it for you when somebody who critiques you who you don't even know and you hear what they have to say about you negatively you don't care the devil say some of the same stuff that my spiritual daddy say to me you know why because i armed my leader with everything hell new about me pay attention if hell knows it your authority should as well you got to arm your brothers with what to do when you not yourself why do i feel a chill all over this sanctuary tonight if you can't tell them what you battle stop calling them your brother and if you training you for something so i'm gonna give you a different level of vulnerability leaders have to be careful with who and what they are vulnerable in front of because in moments of victory if you get attacked you go to what makes you feel safe and normally what makes you feel safe are those that you've been vulnerable with there is no such thing as casual sex anyway so yeah peter peter you're a part of the three peter you're part of the three do you love me i'm getting at you sometimes it's okay to ask people close to you if their motive is migrated now if you've not defined the relationship at the top don't try to go back and define it at the middle and get mad when the behaviors are not adapted you've trained the relationship to disrespect you by being silent with what your needs were ain't nobody got time to be trying out to be your friend i got a full-time job and if this whole year is gonna be you testing me waiting on me to fall expecting me to betray you goodbye the been converted lift your hands and say i'm changed then you have to become change support watch me for somebody that may be under you inexperienced now not under you necessarily an age or not necessarily under you so you can abuse them but who you pour into when you're free keeps you accountable to why you need to stay free i can hear i said you need to help people stay free so you can be reminded about why you can't go back listen on some of the nights where i wanted to be my most ratchet self and there were people who may not have known who i was i had to think about what elisha would do if i were no longer me i had to think about what david would do if i were no longer samuel so there's been a whole lot of times where who i poured into was a reminder of what i can't go back to without somebody to pour into you have no reason to stay in victory well i don't know greek i don't know hebrew here's what this looks like down and back down and back down and back you don't have to be ordained you ain't got to be licensed just go down and back part what i mean is this who's an ex-smoker now here's how we work at this church i can't speak to the others we deal with very candid stuff and and the leader here happens to be a prophet of god so if somebody responds to this and you snare at them i'm going to out your business as well with very specific accuracy i love proper science and judgmental people uh anyway so you are an ex-smoker stay right here can i get somebody that's brave enough to tell me their current smoker come here all right my name is and i ain't like understand stuff how you're elder and don't work the altar put that money down in south carolina and come cast i want to see some rug burns on you if you're a leader and you'll never preach to people you've not cried for in my house that's what that is all i got to do is find somebody who is what i used to be and i don't i disarmed them by just saying i don't want nothing that's the easiest way to disarm somebody i don't want that i don't know nothing i don't want nothing in return because people do like this because they that's why defining it at the top is important give me the right to say i people that have committed to relationship and assumption that we wanted the same things but without the conversation it doesn't have the right to exist i grieve for ladies who let men pursue them six seven months and never ask them what are your intentions now i don't think you have to open up the gate like what are your intentions all i wanted was some steak all i wanted i think it's the same for friendships because what you're going to run into and attempting to build this for your life is a conflict and definitions when i say trust and you say trust we are not saying the same thing did you hear what i just taught you we see trust through the lens of our traumas so if i don't trust something it's because it's been tricked or it's tricked me before or caused me pain before now i have a lens for similarity in other people so if you look like you could possibly be something that i've been through before even if i'm around you i'm going to make the decision that i'm not going to trust you so so this is serious your gift needs and one of the things i was born to do is help men and women understand how to live in defense of that gift everything god does for you is a gift and so one of the things i do well is teach people how to guard it the most common thing gifted people lack is real relationships richie we got green room relationships and the most dangerous thing that could change what happens to him when he gets behind the mic or me when i get what something comes upon me for what you need when it lifts i'm not benefiting from what's on me that's for you when it lifts and i'm no longer superman and i've got to go to my hotel as clark kent the hedge got to know what to ask when the anointing lives off of you why do you think so many artists are bound with lust ahead that's what a real hedge will do a real hedge is not going to use your information as a weapon against you and if you got a fear in that that area one of the things you need to do when you first word was for anybody this moment is you the level of virtue that's left your life because of people who've seen you as a connection point to their own aspirations it's become a place of extreme pain for you but the lord wants you to pursue deliberate healing about this because he's got something much bigger than what you thought was in your hands the thing that's coming next the world the roomness coming next is going to do more for you than you could have done over this last four year transition in your life from one place to the next one city to the next one thought about what to do and ultimately whatever this is 20 21 whatever happened in 2018 the enemy had you really believing god was mad at you it was hard to come back to a place of trust with the lord because of what you experienced by his people and and the the literal condemnation you come from a situation where you know really as the church we should be saying shame off you we always put shame on people so the enemy is trying to bury you right now and at night time it gets very lonely the enemy wants to try to lure you into a snare but i'm telling you your work will not be wasted you you've not written your best you you don't know who you're going to know the rooms that your name are in or beyond you knowing it release them people [Music] even that older lady that was a part of it to the black woman to release her [Music] release and forgive the manager who didn't tell you stuff held information for eight weeks release all of them for the next month bless and release bless and release and trust that that the lord the same god who said whatever he said to you on the west coast the promise he made in that hot place he's going to fulfill his word to you he's not going to lie but this test i'm going to tell you the whole point of it was to see if you could love people that lie you're going into a world of liars they all lie for their own benefit but if you can have an eye for a snake and learn how to dance with it you don't have to run from it knowing a snake is a snake is half the war after that you're safe amen praise the lord [Music] a real hedge it'll stop you from destroying your of every person in this room and i'm praying especially for those that have been wounded by the subject of relationship those that have had horrible breakups and those that have had horrible betrayals and those whose leaders tried to sleep with them those whose bosses and superiors fired them out of intimidation those whose mentors used confidential information as a source of manipulation those who undergone and went through green room crucifixion where behind the stage and after the event they were the subject of attack by libel i'm lifting up every woman that stood and fought and ward for a marriage that still did not work and now has built a mistrust of other women because she was groomed to think women steal from you i'm lifting up every man that's bound in his members under strong duress from the powers of lust and seduction depression and even the men that are under suicide because their work life is not where it needs to be i summons your relationships i call trustworthy people to your life those whose tongues will be anointed for the level you are in those whose ears know how to close and not repeat what you can find i i prophesy and say god's going to give you a place to fall a real place to be weak a real place to be vulnerable where you don't have to perform in order to be protected i call you out of fear of protection and about what it requires to be protected by a support system i thank you that you're giving them a fresh conviction about their gifts and why their gifts need to be surrounded with those that can question and probe and pride and pour thank you for establishing networks of protection around every ministry gift every husband every wife every woman under the sound of my voice i bless you for new relationships now lord as we lift our hands we release painful memories go ahead there let's do some group therapy we release them the enemy loves to use painful memories to stop you from fresh vision right before fresh vision is about to come you'll start to have painful memories in the name of jesus i take authority over every spirit of anniversary trauma where the same time every year you start to go through cycles of sadness and cycles of despair desires and appetites that you thought were dead begin to be resurrected every anniversary spirit and i say that you will no longer be arrested by the cycle of seduction and hypnotizing and magical incantations and chanting over your life in your heart you will no longer be the property of psychic lovers those that pray for your affection and your attention from distant places those that try to use their bodies to manipulate you i call you out even now watch me from the snare of blackmail those that knew you were you weren't yourself and those that saw you when you were not at your best and now use that information as a weapon against you i command your heart to be open now and we release that pain in jesus name we release it we release every offender every participator we release every reposter we release everyone that was the momentum behind the lie and the momentum behind the accusation we released them from our hearts we evict them from every place every chamber in the heart everyone that's betrayed uh either directly or perceived everyone that broke either directly or intentional and everyone that plotted against we release them and we cut their authority over our hearts we cut the authority of the action the crime the trees and the laceration that their behaviors caused upon the soul we willingly evict that pain out because we want to see what's next brand new networks brand new affiliations brand new associations brand new brand new now in jesus name i i pray that you would give them the bravery to break up birth in them the bravery to break up in the name of where you're going come on all over this room some of you know you've needed to walk away from something toxic but you were too scared you cannot manage their emotions when the lord is giving you new instructions i release the power the courage to break up walk away if you walk away you'll get breakthrough end it hey hey end it i'm moving hey ended glory every so time with people places and things that's keeping you away from clarity and perspective be burned by fire in your inner man so that you won't crave it desire it remember it be drawn into it or go back to it may your heart have the fetters removed from it so your heads can start to hear the signal of your next season and form themselves i pray that for you in jesus name shall we receive i said say shout we receive [Music] a hedge i'm listening to an excruciating sound in the room and you can hear it you hear it's loud it's the sound of loneliness i hear it so loud you hear it we all are not saying we all been open and it was not the quarantine it was the wrong team we've got to get out of loneliness because if you stay there you're right for a lie you're right to be seduced and to believe the wrong thing i'm praying god deliver you from extreme loneliness and those of you that reject others first so that they won't reject you many of you brace yourselves so that people won't reject you so you give people rejection tests first stop playing mind games so people can be what you need [Music] that thing is so loud in here it's uncomfortable but it's the screech of loneliness hoe went through an abortion alone i hear that i lost two babies alone i hear that was raped and couldn't talk to nobody about it up there in the balcony molestation is is is education the enemy doesn't arrange for you to be molested just so you can be sexually broken he wants to teach you who to trust so he invests through that sexual crime a mistrust of people and intimacy the whole point of rape is to cause fear to enter a life and just because you moved on don't mean it's not still there okay i don't know where to go with this but no the lord uh he wants your loneliness surrendered to him it's hard to love a person that has not learned to love themselves here's my final wisdom about this hedge you can have a hedge around you completely intact and strong but if you've not resolved your own self-hatred issues then pouring love affirmation support is going down a bottomless pit because every time i affirm ability to speak to you hear it through an era of cynicism because you don't like who i'm trying to love so before you go and start scheduling random meetings to build you got to realize if you got issues with yourself it's going to be hard you're expecting us to love somebody you're still trying to grow to love so give it grace you're gonna mess up everybody messes up when they're trying to learn what real love is but you got to give it time and learn to love yourself and release yourself everybody's not looking at you based upon who you used to be all right lord i've planted the seed you got to do the work i will say this tell bishop it's me one of the most painful things i've ever had to do in my own process not just recently and i hope this frees you in some of the worst losses of my life by death i learned something very powerful at lane i didn't realize that you needed to forgive dead people too [Music] nothing in me had calculated that i have current pain from people that's been dead for decades because i can't confront the the host i think that i'm over the issue when there's a lot of people who have died that did things that harmed you and you think because you mourn their death that it fixed damage that stuff didn't go nowhere it's just not watch me because an unmanaged wound is going to become a part of your personality so now how you think you are is is a byproduct of pain you never confronted just kind of let it stay there and it changed you you stopped laughing stop it changing you used to be outgoing and brave now you're timid and don't like talking i wonder how many of us need to think about somebody deceased and i'm gonna tell you to go talk to them don't do that and if they come and talk to you don't talk back because i promise you that's not them but think about if you can trace a current issue fractured pain to somebody uncle ray like if a family member i don't know why i keep going here rapes you takes your innocence or or if a bishop or a pastor i'm gonna say this devil molests you introduces you to sexual battles and stuff as your spiritual leader and they die and you wear your robe and you grieve them and you agitate and serve the pain of what they did did not go to the grave that stuff is in your heart in your perspectives in your soul and you got to deal with it or else your gift is your gifting may be contaminated you ever seen a hurt prophet it's a mess you ever seen an offended teacher the greatest pride in the world you ever seen an evangelist that didn't get celebrated by the church they now become the pirates and the and the renegades that lead the war against it so there's still being evangelists just for the other kingdom so what i'm saying is that we've got to address this i know we've been here for a while but this is something you really have to address if you don't do this your talent will kill you your gifting will overwhelm you you need life support do you receive the word of the lord you've got to forgive the dead and you also this is important for pastors and this is important for people that serve um madonna's and my kelly's all those that volunteer my rebeccas and all that we got to watch me you're gonna have to forgive people that owe you money and know it i'm not prophesying i'm just and here's what i mean by this don't be bound watch me you know what i hate can you tell i'm passionate about this right now i'm sorry i hate forced apologies if i have to come to you to demand that you apologize to me why do i want that that's my action yeah you owe me an apology before i've recognized it and remorsefully i'm not gonna walk up on somebody demanding what should be an expression of understanding from consideration of a thing don't force people to apologize the point i'm making to you is you must receive the apologies you won't ever hear base your healing on them coming to say oh yeah i know i was wrong what if they never do it play make believe and hear it now and move on with your line come on you know how to have imaginary friends i forgive you sonya you don't need her to say thank you what that does for me is it breaks your authority off of my day it breaks your authority off my mood i can see you and not have my mood shifted i control my emotions i control my attitude and if seeing you takes me off you have way too much power over me how'd you feel in a great mood just makes sense we'll shout tomorrow
