Thought this might be of interest to those of us who aren't as familiar with Legends lore.
The video briefly scans through various conflicts which occurred post-ROTJ. Some of which could have been interesting alternatives to what we ended up getting in the ST (essentially Rebels v Empire 2.0).
I've avoided post ROTJ stuff in legends for some time and only know so much from hearsay -- but since Mando will most likely be linked to the ST at some point I might as well just dive into the EU post ROTJ stuff.
But what little I know about it sounds much more creative and original than the ST.
But y'know there's "no source material" after all.
The galaxy never knew peace in legends honestly lol
The difference is, the old EU/Legends gave us actual sequels to ROTJ, not remakes pretending to be sequels.
The EU was a series of increasing bloody conflicts, but at least it was something for the galaxyβs future. The sequel era is terribly written that the writers are avoiding the entire period as trying to follow the gibberish of the movie timeline is practically radioactive.
