different kind of video that you're used to seeing on this channel this is sort of gonna be a vlog style video this is the kind of video that we usually have on off the ranch off the ranches my other channel my vlog channel but I don't like putting gun videos on off the ranch I like keeping that one gun free just in case anything ever happens with gun videos on the tube so we are gonna put this video here because this video is gonna be very centered around guns yesterday was a big day in my boy's life Lincoln my son I have three kids two girls and a boy Lincoln my son is the youngest and he turned five yesterday I had forgotten that the store where I was gonna take him to get his present wasn't open on that day so kind of messed up so we are gonna do something for him today I'm gonna pick up Lincoln from school today and then I'm gonna take him to the gun store which Lincoln goes to gun store with me every once in a while so it's not that's not unusual but today we are gonna be shopping for a gun for Lincoln and I don't plan on telling him that until we get there just got to school I'm gonna go in and grab him and then I'll just make him up here right here hey Lincoln what happened we got one got one out I think I'm gonna need a pocketknife for the other one maybe yep don't move go do surgery with the Skip knife got it hey do you want to go do something fun with me do you wanna go to the gun store with me yeah you're just a kid you can't shoot guns no you can't what kind why our guns nerf guns you have any real guns what kind ooh you do have a BB gun that's true you wanna go shooting sometime maybe what do you think you're gonna get a real gun ya know could happen what do you like most about gun stores crappy puppies you ready dude let's do this your socks think we should you want to do it you only shoot it today yeah you like that it looks like it's the right size it's heavy can you look through scope oh nice yeah we'll work on it yep did this happen where you guys live can you just buckle a rifle into a seat like that in Texas it's totally fine next to a five year old he's old enough now he's a man now so it's safe and it's unloaded all the ammo is up here with me your first gun I'm so pumped yeah your own gun you know gun rules what which ones do you know that's a good rule and don't play that is the main rule I'll teach you all the rules we get out there okay do you okay we are here with Lincoln's brand-new first gun this is a cricket precision rifle that's just a scope cover covers up we're gonna do a couple modifications so here's the scope you can see how you can see through right now if you go anywhere out of the way it gets black and then what you want to do is get here and get closer so this is like optimal but if you're over here black over here black if you're to close the hole gets really small too far it's really small so it's hard for little kids to figure out where their eye should be where their heads should be while they're also trying to learn how to shoot but a red dot no matter where you move your eye you can still see through that scope so we're gonna put that on there it looks actually really silly the scope looks way better but the scope didn't work we also had to raise luckily this has adjustable cheek beasts because this is sitting up for like an AR so we had to raise it up the cheek piece to see that but he can look through it he can see it so there's one more thing we need to do right here that'll make this thing a little easier for Lincoln to shoot we needed to put a suppressor on it the Ametek fire ant suppressor are you excited to go test her out Oh sir I'm gonna take a shot first just see if this thing is shooting straight cause we just threw the sight on it are you ready yeah you need glasses on you ready there we go all right shoot a little bit high [Music] all right think it's going low now let me try pull it up a little bit high [Applause] okay it will happen to me but I think it's time for you to try it can you see that dot it's really hard to see out here slowly squeeze you got it nice dude good job did you hear it do it again barely missed barely missed you read that see it I don't see it either we just ran out of batteries yeah put this thing on your shoulder yeah thumb goes in this hole thumb goes up there in that hole okay see it put that Center dot wherever you want to shoot it's so hard cuz the guns are moving it's just getting off Oh close guys good eye [Music] [Music] put this on your shoulder cap forgetting to pocket and I can't forget your breath on my shoulder they're gonna Fox we're looking at were you hitting it like every time we had a little bit of trouble with this site it was just like a cheapy one and we went ahead and put a vortex on there and it did much better so we'll probably practice with this a little while longer till he gets more comfortable maybe a little older and then we'll put a little scope back on it and this also looks it looks kind of cool kind of way too big the first gun I ever shot like this that I learned to shoot was a little 22 just like this but no it wasn't the same color as this mine was a Woodstock one it was like wood colored and it wasn't all cool it didn't have a red dot on it it didn't have a suppressor it didn't have a bipod didn't have a adjustable cheek and butt pad hey link I've been watching Matt's channels for a while now but this is the first DemoRanch video that had me smiling the whole time. That boy loves his daddy. Everytime I'm in SA I always hope that I run into him and his family; I just wanna shake his hand and say hi to Mare and the kids, in passing. They seem like very pleasant people. It's a real shame what Youtube is doing to his channels with their disgustingly broken terms/strike system.
