you for it right now we bind every weird and strange spirit in the name of jesus and we thank you right now god that we got the victory over the devil so our feet are shot with the preparation of the gospel of peace our loins are girded about with truth we have on the breastplate of righteousness the shield of faith the sword of the spirit a helmet of salvation we have love faith works by love we got keys to the kingdom satan we put you out bind every hindrance every demonic satanic satanic force and we decree that today as a day of liberty and freedom in the spirit of god thank you for it right now god think through my mind speak through my vocal cords in the name of jesus amen come on clap your hands church oh add a shout to that amen amen i honor my wife this morning i thank god for her you the people of god i love you i thank god for you amen well guys come on man i want to equip you this morning i want you to come with me back to john chapter 4. i've been teaching on the image but i'm going to break off from that just a little bit this morning because i want to talk to christians today who are interested in being about the father's business is that all right so i want you to go over to john chapter 4 verse number 29 amen and uh we're gonna we're gonna tear that apart a little bit but then i'm gonna go to john chapter 12 really to press press in today uh and and and i want to just read my golden verse golden text if you want to call it that in john chapter 4 verse number 29 the bible says come see a man which told me all things that i ever did is not this the christ the people in that hour were looking forward to the messiah they were looking forward to better to the savior they were looking forward to health and healing they they were looking forward in today's terms uh uh the covet being over the delta being over they were looking forward to political unrest being over they they were looking forward to relief and this young lady bumped into the relief that they were looking forward to so she says come see a man which told me all things that i ever did and she asked the guys who would know more than her because she was not well learned in the scripture she didn't have a a background in pedigree of theology she came to him and she said is this not the christ is this one you guys been looking for is this the one you guys been talking to us about is this our solution amen those of you in the business world you're familiar with the term solutions when we function and operate in business we sell solutions the square card reader is the solution to taking money is that not right all right a sweater is a solution to to chill and code right businesses sell solutions so she says come see a man which told me all that i ever did is this not the solution is this not the christ so i want to talk this morning from this thought selling jesus in an open market selling jesus in an open market if you can't figure that out today i want to talk about evangelism i want to re-equip us again i want to re-nudge this i want to get god's people back in alignment and that space and space space and place excuse me of the father's business indeed and in the last days with jesus coming back any moment now there is no greater business item than that of the name of jesus the salvation of jesus and getting people in the kingdom of god and this is an essential message because guys if you're not careful you you can go cold on evangelists you can have moments of upheaval where you're really driven and and really want to go after it and and if you're not careful you can settle down well one of the things god has reminded me of in recent days is to make sure that god's people don't get relaxed on what they should be doing at a time like now how y'all know in this time there is no other salvation but the name of jesus in this hour there is no other solution but the name and power of jesus in this time there is no other product amen by which man can be saved but at the name of who jesus so i want to deal with that and you would say an open market pastor you're using those high level terms what is that what what is an open market economy and i love this as the spirit of god beginning to minister to me and open market economy you don't have to write this just take it in it's one by which there are little to no rules open market economy little to no rules free market all right many people in this room are from michigan and some of you know about their uni unionized culture all right employers tend to not be able to do whatever they want to do because they'll tell you in a minute we're a union state all right we're at union state looking at some of my michigan folk in the room unionized and so uh there's some restrictions there's some regulations in place uh but in a free market there are very little tariffs very little government very little rules placed on people that would restrict them from doing whatever they want to do and can i give the church a lob stay with me intellectually we've moved into a time in an hour now to where everybody even outside of the church especially understands that they can do whatever they want to do is that not right husbands don't have to stay faithful to their wives anymore because the move of swingers and polygamy have made it right to get however many whoever you would like to get with somebody better say amen hey guys what about the legalization of marijuana did you think the day would come where we would we would be pontificating and contemplating whether or not it was okay for somebody to get high on a recreational basis y'all not going to say amen but i'm doing real good this morning i know i am i'm preaching the heart of god legalization yo i love this one gender expression you're not a man because of what you're made out of you're a man because that's the way you express yourself whatever you want to do go y'all why do we need the young lady with a stick figure with a skirt on it and then the stick figure with no skirt on our bathrooms after all you can go in whatever bathroom you want now y'all not saying amen but i'm doing better than you talking everybody say a free market people doing whatever they want to do this is one that's real funny now you can ask people whatever health question you want because after all if i can ask you if you've been vaccinated i may as well ask you do you have hiv no rules forget standards forget any of that amen no discreetness to people i can just come out of my mouth ask you whatever i want amen that is until you turn around and say come again are y'all in here right so y'all it's a free market people are doing whatever they want and this comes from the book of judges we don't have time to go there but the bible says everybody was doing what was right in their own eyes and the world today is doing what is right where in their own eye nothing is off limits if you let them through cuties netflix had a special called cuties you can see little babies eight-year-olds and nine-year-olds shaking their booties pedophilia because we've moved into a time of a free market where everybody can do whatever they want to do say amen to that and if the world gets that and the world understands that will you please tell me why we still have so many cia christians why we still have so many fbi fbi believers so many christians today that feel so reserved about sharing your faith because somebody might just say i prefer not to talk about that right but they prefer to talk about rather not you've been vaccinated they prefer to talk about whether or not they can have your husband they prefer to talk about whether or not they can have your child so if they can talk about what they want to talk about will you please blow that smoke in somebody else's ear i'm about to put all kinds of scriptures on my work email at work come on i'm about to say jesus is lord in the break room i'm about to let somebody know that to the utmost jesus save and don't leave planet earth without them stop being so scared come on shout hallelujah in the house of god how come you can't share your faith i was sharing my faith last week and i was sharing it with a young lady in customer service on the line and uh we were talking through some things and and throughout all of that she had uh if you will uh talked about how she had done some refinances with her car and some other things and she just began to expose her life in so many words and i thought that was neat and i said well since we're exposing i said well do you know jesus is lord and her response was i prefer not to talk about that on the work phone i said good you don't have to let me talk about it y'all miss that i'm not asking you to do anything against company policy but let me let you know that if you die without him in your heart oh it's danger baby and after i said all of that i said and i hope i didn't offend you can you say passive aggressive i didn't want to offend a young lady but guys we talking about everything if i had talked about the uh injustice of black people and black lives matter she would have tapped on had i talked about the equality act and and people having gender expression i'm sure she wouldn't have shunned that conversation but it was just when we brought the name of jesus up and we've got to get bigger in the spirit to recognize that demons don't want the name of jesus in the earth realm they are okay talking about everything except the power of god they're okay talking about everything except the blood of jesus and believers got to get courageous again so this lady was courageous she said come see a man she wasn't trying to figure out whether or not people wanted to hear it she wasn't trying to figure out whether or not she might step on somebody's toes she wasn't trying to figure out whether or not she would be in bad graces after sharing christ now the bible says he that when his souls is wise so i'm not telling you to be a bull in a china store but what i am saying is is we can no longer be romans 6 116 believers in reverse the bible says we are not ashamed of the gospel of jesus christ and so many of us have taken the place of shame when in this open and free market we have the solution we should be as loud now as ever before we should be telling people about christ it's quiet in here but i'm teaching good greater than your new car greater than your new house greater than your husband greater than anything that you desire in this world is one more soul coming to know jesus and after all if you will share christ if you'll share the holy ghost note that in time you seek first the kingdom of god and his righteousness all these other things are going to be added anyway if you want something to happen in your life why don't you start making something happen on behalf of god why don't you say to yourself how many people have i won to jesus this year how many people have visited church this year because of me tell your neighbor it's time to share jesus why because this is an open market but not only should you share jesus because it's an open market guys you should share jesus because there is a demand for jesus the world needs him are y'all getting this the world needs guys he's not optional it's not just the half just rather nice to have him some things are nice to have you know you ever been in a cold movie theater it would have been nice to have a sweater but you can still watch the movie is that not right and if the movie is good how many you know you're not leaving a movie to go to the mall and get a sweater you're going to endure the next 20 minutes because this movie is good a sweater is nice to have it'd be nice to have a nice strawberry shortcake especially during the 12th day of a 21 day fast but when you're faster than praying and seeking the lord you don't override where you are in the spirit for a temporary thrill of sugar come on that would be nice to have but jesus is not nice to have i said something when all this started jesus is essential jesus is necessary jesus is the only reason why we're gonna be okay he's not nice to have amen he's a needed entity are you all listening to me we sing songs like welcome into this place good but the truth is if he doesn't show up nothing will happen i'm glad you came to church today but i'm telling you who i need here more than anybody in this room the son of the living god who do i need in this room more than anybody the power of the holy ghost somebody say amen to that i'm teaching better than you talking in this open market y'all christians are the only ones who are not buoyant and i know some of us aren't born yet because i still see the same empty seat next to you uh-oh you can't be buoyant because i i still see room i could compliment a few people you know sister nicole has almost filled up her whole role amen with colleagues from the professional environment and the younger lady the gapper and their kids but where's your buoyancy though oh it's going to get good in here this morning don't let yourself off the hook where are your disciples matthew 28 18 19 said go and make disciples we ought to be compelling men and we can't do this just because pastor is on a 10 part series about it this is something y'all that every believer has to hold up before themselves you gotta say every time i pass a colleague at work this is somebody who potentially is on their way to hell every time i go into a smoothie king and i have an extra five minutes because nobody else is in the shop and the young lady behind the cash register is ringing up my 20-ounce gladiator something ought to come to my mind that says this is a young lady who might need jesus now she could be saved she could almost already know the lord and what's good about that is is my conversation with her simply reminded her of eternity that's all simply nudged her simply encourage her to stay in the race man sometimes i bumped into fellow believers out there calling myself winning them to christ and when i get through talking to them they fan the flame in me isn't that good news they tell me how good god is they tell me how they've been following the lord for 30 years they tell me how they're filled with the holy ghost with the evidence of tongues oh hallelujah and before you know we are going up in smoke either way the encounter's a good encounter but pastor what about meeting people who don't want to hear it's okay because even in not hearing hey you shake the dust feet don't take it personal but guys they will have to give in account for not hearing how many all know god has thrown us a lot the great lester sumrall said it this way he said super spiritual people tell others about jesus i take his slogan to mean something very powerful one of the ways you can gauge your spiritual maturity engage your spiritual activity on the inside is how much of an itch you have to share jesus on the outside because super spiritual people which is a good thing by the way super spiritual people tell others about who about jesus now let me use a little bit of business acumen y'all normal businessman and so i like talking in business acumen in fact this whole concept of an open market is a business term and and you're free to sell and and it is the exact opposite of communism and open market is capitalism you're free to do business there's not a lot of regulations not a lot of big government shutting you down look at karina nadine she's getting her mba it's right up her alley right open market good business good functioning amen and so as i continue in that business vernacular i want you to understand uh what we would call product importance product importance why is this product called jesus so important why is he so essential at a time like this product importance is is is is so relevant and i'll say it this way in that i couldn't imagine being a non-christian today i want you to consider that i personally could not imagine being a non-christian what is a non-christian anybody else that does not believe in jesus as lord a muslim a atheist an agnostic i don't care buddhist y'all in this hour of just dark dark dark on every leaning side i could not imagine being a non-christian because being a non-christian would mean you have no hope being a non-christian would mean that you are totally separate from god and what did the people do over the last two years that were separate from god pragmatically how did they make it psychologically what's their emotional state anybody in here you ever been in a crisis and i'm looking at folk that have been in crisis i'm looking at people in here who have had loved ones murdered i'm looking i i know i'm looking at people in here who have had husbands leave them wives do whatever kids renounce them and i remember when you went through those trials because i was counseling with you i remember that you would say at the end of every session but god is carrying me through god is the one sustaining me i can go to him in prayer god is keeping me i've been staying in my word i've been hearing the preached word but imagine a world in a culture with no church no bible no preaching no holy ghost and no jesus what a tragedy and that's your product importance those are the people that you are passing every single day that is why a fashionistas a a a world renowned comedian list goes on and on with billions maybe millions if not billions of dollars in the bank can commit suicide because they had all the money they had all the resources they had their name on pocketbooks and saks fifth avenue in nordstrom's but they did not have the name of jesus on the inside and money come on and gain and status could not fix their hopelessness oh i'm teaching good this morning there was nothing there to subsidize that emptiness on the inside you can be a pro athlete bringing in 70 million dollars a year and i know what i'm talking about because i've counseled them have a 18 20 000 square foot home have a lucrative life have a gorgeous trophy wife have all of the things that the world calls successful yet still be crying your eyeballs out day in and day out because your spirit and soul yearns for something greater than the material yearns for something greater than people applauding you yearns for something greater than a nice physique your spirit man knows that there is something that i need that you have not given me yet and that something is jesus please get me to jesus the whole earth understands that romans chapter 1 that's why they're moaning and groaning in expectation for the manifestations of the sons of god that's us to come along and change their plight everybody say product importance i want you to understand this and for many of us in here including me this will be a reminder of where the lord brought us from and how important jesus was back then and still is today in our life go to ephesians chapter 2 verse 11-13 are you being blessed church just some good stuff selling jesus in an open market everybody say it's an easy sell telling jesus in the open market you know i don't know all the pocketbook styles out there but i look i look at some of these on the front row as i'm glancing over here and you know if i raise one of these up and i won't you know a brahmin or a coach i see all kinds of stuff up here and i said to the ladies in the room i tell you what i will sell you this fine leather pocketbook for the sum total of fifteen dollars and twenty cents hands would go up because the demand for that high quality pocketbook would be so substantial at that price are y'all getting this yet jesus paid the ultimate price with his life and it's the greatest product that ever walked this earth the greatest service that ever walked this earth and he comes for free with no cost except your life to be made lord over everything pertaining to you but in exchange for your life john 10 10 11 he gives you abundant life i came that you might have life and you might have it how more abundantly so we can't be selfish in our abundant life and have folk around us in raw lives and dark lives and and just not share the gospel how many people in this church right now you came here one day because somebody invited you you came to kc because yes yes yes inevitably okay all right same question how many people in this church right now you're glad you came and you have since enjoyed coming and it has breathed life into you is any do you see the hands on the camera there's almost no hand down are y'all getting a revelation that means thank you church somebody's quality of life went up because somebody else decided that they were no longer going to keep it to themselves i don't understand the song i said i wasn't going to tell nobody but i couldn't keep it to myself what the lord has done why did you say you weren't going to tell nobody no this is some good teaching pam everybody say i couldn't imagine being without god wherefore remember that you in times past everybody saying times pass y'all put it in the new king james it's easier for me to read to the people of god wherefore be reminded amen that you once were gentiles in the flesh who are called uncircumcised by which is called the circumcision made in the flesh by hands verse number 12 please that at that time you were without christ good god almighty anybody remember that i mean you tried a bunch of stuff tried fulfillment through relationships tried fulfillment through the bottle and all of it was temporarily at best when you sobered up come on you were whining and crying at the toilet boat hallelujah when he or she went back home there was that emptiness there was that unfulfilling there was that it just doesn't do anything to me in times past you are without christ being aliens from the commonwealth of israel and strangers from the covenant of promises here it is mom having how much hope no hope without god in a world loaded with covet and delta and black lives matter and lying politicians and in all kinds of scandals in a world without god what do you do in exchange for that better stated what do you do in response to that i said something early on i totally understand why some people decided they didn't want to live anymore i'm not talking about suicide either i'm talking about on their inward man god some people they just said man whatever i just go into heaven they believed in faith to leave here because without god there is no hope everybody say he's not endorsing suicide but there is no hope there's no reason to continue on why would you when all you hear every day is about your demise why would you continue on amen when you don't know amen if the man who loved you today is going to keep loving you tomorrow after all the world has transvestites on sports illustrated now i mean the world is democrats they're trying everything which your husband wouldn't be wanting to be with transvestite that's just a hint not your husband amen but hey oh goodness the world is debocarious the world is evil so you all remember paul says that at that time you were without christ he said don't forget that that'll motivate you to evangelize one of the things that makes me want to share christ with people is i look at them and say i couldn't imagine the pain you're going through in this world not knowing the god that i know i wake up every day full of joy i wake up every day full of knowing that god is taking care of me but when i look at you and you can't speak the language of the kingdom i can't imagine what life would be like like that this is good teaching this morning look at verse number 13. somebody say that's why we got to evangelize oh but this is shouting music but now in christ jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of christ is anybody here that's still glad about the blood of jesus that brought you out of sin brought you out of unrighteousness brought you out of wickedness you've been brought near by the blood of choice cleaned you up despite you cleaned you up despite your past glory to god and we can no longer keep that product a secret it's going to be a holy shame on judgment day and i don't like the word shame either but it's going to be if you will something that should not have been for many believers to stand before christ and yes you got invited into heaven but you have no eternal rewards because you never invited anybody to church yes you made it to the holy city you are in the new jerusalem you are eternally sealed amen you'll forever be with jesus but you have nobody running around heaven that you bump into every other day thanking you for getting them in the kingdom the people you went to christ you'll never forget them they will remind you in eternity that's a part of your crowns that's a part of your rewards they will come up to you and say you remember you talked to me in target i didn't come to your church but i got saved a year later when i came into crisis my aunt who raised me died and i remember what you told me in that target and i couldn't remember what church you were going to but there was a church right around the corner from my house and i accepted christ that day at her funeral and now here i am in eternity with you is there anybody besides me in here that wants some rewards i'm almost done teaching yo i'm just trying to motivate you i'm telling you i have money i will have money more money you have money you will have more money i have vehicles i will have more vehicles you have vehicles you'll have more vehicles but there is nothing in comparison to winning a soul to christ and then watching them walk through and win in life you know one of my motivations for building this home for unwed moms guys is simply to see people who once were here and now are there in their life they are going to give birth to godly children their children are going to be raised up in this church so the lord delay is coming they're going to go off to college they're going to get married to godly men and i'm going to sit and cry and just reflect on look at this young lady who at one point in her life was far off but now she's been brought back by the blood of christ and we've got to have that mindset it's not just me it's not just for me it's not just for what we want i'm so appreciative every october they say it's pastors appreciation month and i really do appreciate it and i will not speak against uh the blessings you all give me which which the bible talks about elders being worthy of double honor i understand the team wants to say something today i think that's great in its proper place and the money and wonderful things that that we allow our pastors to have that are in scripture they that preach the word ought to live of the word but there is no victory like seeing somebody like this brother right here who i bumped into in north lake mall one day that i was willing to have a conversation with and talk to him while we were both looking at watches or whatever we were looking at and i said to him i said man you need to come to my church you need to bring your family and now i look at him he brought his family and i look at his son stand-up son with whom he brought to the church who at this church met another young lady stand up sweetheart by which i spoke to her mom a man back in raleigh invited her to our church who brought her daughter now they're getting ready getting married into kingdom marriages and things are going up up up what's that what is that nothing like it come on he won't he won't be some loose loose will out there i don't use worldly terms he won't be out there handsome young man but going from woman to woman he has moral standard because he was raised up in a church but he was raised up in a church because he was invited to a church y'all ain't saying nothing he was raised up in jesus because he was invited to jesus can i break protocol you've been brought near by the blood of christ and we got to start getting excited about people being brought near by the blood of christ we got to start getting motivated stop worrying about whether or not folk have a vaccination you can get a vaccination get to heaven hallelujah and you won't be vaccinated because you're going to put on a new body is that not good news oh if i can get you saved with your vaccinated self at least you'll be in heaven now i ain't taking no vaccine but if i can get you born again at least you'll be in heaven go share the gospel of jesus christ what's my point the devil is derailing us with futile discussions you're trying to get somebody out of homosexuality and you haven't got them saved come on i was going to preach this morning from the inside out i'll do it next week perhaps but you trying to get somebody to cut their hair but you can get them saved you trying to get a young lady to grow her hair but you didn't get her saved and we got to come out of religion we'll get more buoyant about the soul that's on the inside if i win you to jesus oh hallelujah sanctification will take care of the rest of that stuff y'all ain't saying amen but i'm talking right and why is this important because the market has shifted in our favor people need what we're selling everybody say people need jesus why you're already there or at least that's where our text was so let's go or or where i want to take it not where our text was let's go to john chapter 12 and let's build a case uh from the bottom up today i'm going to go in reverse john chapter 12 verse 31-32 i'm gonna give you a couple of quick points and we're gonna be done for the day is anybody getting anything out of this the bible says now is the judgment of the world now is the what of the world now is the weather the world church do you think the world is being judged right now you cannot kill millions of baby and nothing happens now is the what of the world judgment you can't legalize everything god said is illegal and nothing happened that's why a spiritual warfare got unleashed in the country you're not you're not fighting a cdc battle you're not fighting a political battle you're fighting a judgment battle right but it's not judgment of believers it is the what judgment of the world revelation knowledge on that word judgment it is their opportunity to turn because judgment has come because pressure is here guys the world has the lob of everything we're doing ain't working you can take all the pills you want to take if the lord don't guard the house if you don't get a revelation of psalm 91 and who's that text for he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high that's how you keep plagues from coming nigh your dwell but how they gonna know if they don't have any preachers sharing it with them and that's not just me that's you you're the preachers for this world somebody say amen now the ruler of this world will be cast out shout about that oh i said the ruler of this world will be cast out oh at the end of the day we win at the end of the day we got victory coming honey so hold on help is on the way the ruler of this world will be cast out i wish i had more time and jesus said it so well john he said and i if i be lifted up from the earth i'll do what draw all men draw all who are men unto me seems to me like the ruler being cast out of this world or satan being cast out of this world if they are one verse next to another has something to do with us lifting jesus up has something to do with us making the light of this world more pronounced how does he shine he shines through us so please write this in your notes christians can no longer hide their evidence it is your evidence that's going to pull people to jesus let's build it from the bottom up christians can no longer hide their evidence why church because it's your what your evidence that's going to do what pull people to jesus go to john chapter 12 and let's look at 9-13 then 17-19 no longer hide the evidence because it's your evidence that's going to pull people to jesus if you're in here amen you're not sick you're not dying you're not going under you're not worried about who who's in the white house you have total peace everybody say that's your evidence now in the world that is the wicked world wants your evidence dead they don't want people to know that we have the solution they don't want people to know that there is a such thing as living in goshen and goshen is simply a protected place where none of your cattles are dying the lights are still on in your city are you all getting this amen you're eating every day because i've never seen the righteous forsaken nor a seed beg for any bread is that not right your family is intact the power of god is moving on you god is keeping your mind you're not bamboozled by everything the news says everybody say evidence but we can no longer hide that evidence and let the world be buoyant and strong about what they believe while believers are silent and quiet assuming that people are going to get to know jesus organically they're not going to get to know jesus organically i love it this gave people a past years ago they started saying stuff like i don't talk a lot about christ i don't talk a lot about jesus i just live the life that ain't what the bible say do the bible said live the life but the bible said open up your mouth that's what the words they do the words say make disciples that's what the words the words say compel men and i never compel the men by just walking by uh you know reggie i'm living the life i see you every day i work in the cubicle next to you i'm just living the life i'm not gonna invite you to kcc candace because i'm just living the life but when i compel a man i say hey melvin can you come to church with me sunday i'm compelling a man i say hey melvin which service you coming to you coming to eight are you coming to 10. can i talk about sales 101 you always leave the gate open sales 101. oh i don't mind can i follow up with you on tuesday night to remind you which service you're coming to you know why muslims are so successful with quote unquote the black man because they will get in your face and tell you how crazy you are to be over there following jesus they're strong wicked but strong tell you how you're following a white man's religion well i'm gonna stay in a white man's religion baby you call whatever you want jew white hebrew i'm staying with jesus you amen he wasn't black i'ma stay with him though because when ida came i couldn't find the hebrew israelites but i could find the christians helping somebody out y'all ain't saying amen thank you mel i can find fellow believers right i'm compelling men everybody say don't hide the evidence man y'all make this eight o'clock service go too fast look at it look at it and let's go amplify guys you guys got aunt back there tony put the amplified up there for me a large crowd of jews learned that he was there that who was there jesus y'all get this revelation now they learned that jesus was in town all right everybody say don't hide the evidence but jesus wasn't evidence in this case you see where i'm going brother harper they learned that jesus was there at bethany and they came not only because of jesus but also to see his evidence they say who is this man that they say somebody was dead for days did he bring the dude with him because we want to see the evidence y'all going to make me happy in a minute is there anybody here besides me that was dead over four days but you are the evidence that to the utmost jesus saves anybody here besides me you are on your way to hell you did some horrible things but you are the evidence that christ can bring you back to life hallelujah don't hide the evidence glory to god come on take your seat amen don't hide it what is evidence ronda your testimony your lazarus experience because lazarus already has set into rigamortis so when he came back to life that means the flies had to spit his flesh up when he came back to life that means everything had to come back together again and that's how your life was when you were without jesus the flies had to spit you out but thanks be unto god he saved you hallelujah don't hide the evidence come on take your seat because they didn't come just to see jesus they came to see somebody who had changed is that all right dave oh come on come on we remember some of us in here brother dave and i would remember years ago oh hallelujah who we once were oh hallelujah and one of the reasons why we've been able to to get some folk to come to church in this season is they say if god can save dave and gabe y'all ain't saying nothing we have had guys who knew us back in college that have come and kept coming because if no other reason they're in awe at these two guys sitting on the front row if god can save dave and gabe i know he can do something with my life oh somebody said don't hide your evidence in the house hallelujah got too many cia christians they didn't just come to see lazarus or jesus rather they came to see they came to see lazarus they came to see as evidence and this gets so good oh i wish we had time look at verse number 10 it gets so good because the chief priests plan to kill lazarus also why did they want to kill lazarus because he was bringing too much glory to god the world wants you quiet because if you ever start telling your testimony if you ever start talking about where the lord brought you from you're going to get thousands of people saved they wanted lazarus dead is anybody getting this revelation they didn't want lazarus on the scene why because he was the everybody say don't hide the evidence they wanted to kill him because on account of him many of the jews look at it y'all were going away from religion the teachings and traditions of jewish leaders and what were they doing oh come on say church what were they doing they were believing in jesus they were leaving this crazy world in their ideals and what were they doing instead they were believing in jesus the next day when the large crowd who had come to the passover feast heard that jesus was coming to jerusalem they started to honor him you all know the story but jump down to verse number 17 through 19 and we'll stop for the day so the people who were with him when he called lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continue to tell others about him my question for you kcc are you still continuing to tell others about jesus you've seen what he's done you've seen sign wonders and miracles the people who were there when lazarus got up from the grave they continue to tell others about jesus they continued to tell others about how god could save you how he could bless you how there were some things that accompanied salvation they continued to share their faith everybody say don't hide the evidence look at verse number 18. for this reason the crowd went to do what me him why did the crowd go to meet him church come on this is a classroom why did y'all go to meet him somebody said out because loud evidence but because the people were telling them about jesus so they wanted to come meet him why are some of your colleagues going to come to this church because you're telling them about the move of god and the move of god is more than and it was wonderful last sunday but it's more than a shout at the altar the move of god is my quality of life is going up 30 notches yo that's the move of god i can't wait to the next service the move of god you ready for this is you've not lost your mind that's the move of god in this culture because in this culture people are losing and have lost their mind are you all still here so that so they knew he had performed these miraculous signs i'm almost done then the pharisees argued and said one to one another this is how you know we win in the end you see that your efforts are futile look the whole world has gone running after him hey y'all can i close there let's get some people running after jesus let's let the world know amen that we're not going to stop doing what we're doing we're not going to stop sharing christ we're not going to stop being christians let's get some people running after jesus i close with three quick principles of evangelism that i want to leave on your lap was this a good message can i say something parenthetically many of you in this room who are going through problems and issues and concerns in your life i promise you without a shadow of a doubt your drive to come about the kingdom of god and share jesus and win others and be about others problems and issues is going to diminish everything you're going through i said something powerful right there because i know some hurting people in church today and god hasn't forgotten you but one of the best ways to be undepressed is to find yourself being about the father's business one of the best ways to not be emotionally distraught and i'm believing to do it this year is to be up there if they find a way to do it to feeding the hungry in the community building look i'm not worried about my concerns i have put all my concerns on the back burner i'm ministering to somebody else and as i minister to somebody else by the time i get back home i wish i had time to preach that oh by the time i get back on my stuff he's already gone before me and made crooked places straight and rough places smooth parenthetically you ever have a need meet somebody else's need sewing is somebody else's project i've done it time after time every time we had a building project y'all i've never launched into a building project where i had all the money never but i tell you what i did do i found somebody that was blessing people and i sent money off to what they were doing i found somebody who already had a building and i sold into what they were doing i found somebody who was providing hurricane relief somewhere and i sold into what they were doing are y'all getting the revelation and as i sold in today what they were doing the harvest took care of what god was doing here every single time so if you're down and out emotionally remind that devil that he can't hold you down you're about to be about the father's business nothing's going to stop you you are going all the way with jesus you're not quitting in this world you're not giving up you're bigger than that you're stronger than that i'm going to minister to somebody else i say this with much care and i don't want a violin but you don't know the times when i got up here preaching beyond how i felt you don't you don't know the time my wife would know some of them but you don't know the times oh hallelujah but oh i could i could chart it at the end of that sunday when i ministered to people when i just loved people just embraced people laid hands and prayed for other people all of the stuff that satan was trying to do in my own body i wish i had help on a sunday morning so what i'm gonna do tomorrow i'm not worried about when my next mercedes-benz is coming it's coming you can get a mercedes that's easy and i worry about when the next house is coming it's already done if that's what you want praise god he has no problem with you having things amen but we got a dying world without god we got people y'all oh it my heart and i don't i don't grieve because the bible teaches us the sorrow not but my heart gets pricked every time i come across one more person who's an eternity and i always have a moment i always say i wonder where they are now how many chances did they get to hear the gospel because you're only promised one you only promised one give you three quick points and i'm closing three key principles of evangelism number one intentional conversations everybody say intentional conversations if you haven't passed anybody in three to four days go to a grocery store and purposely pass somebody go buy some tic tacs so you commit yup i'm buying these tic tacs with a motive i'm getting in somebody's line who don't have no customers and i'm gonna share the gospel intentional what conversations are y'all getting there guys i told you in the beginning it was kind of comical but if people can ask you all kinds of phi protective health information unashamedly too i mean it's just a growing trend i know how i believe it's up to me to believe how i believe you can believe whatever you want believe but why does it bother you so much about how i believe must be an agenda with all the money you could make why are you giving it out for free and anything you got to go door-to-door i took the air out the room on that i'm just meddling you do whatever you want did y'all hear my disclaimer i said you do whatever you want that's why you got a doctor i don't get medical advice but all i'm telling you is is the world they're not ashamed of their position me and sister rogers we're at the um farmer's market in our city and people just make assumptions now it's obvious that we're black and we have four kids and this precious lady came up to us started talking to my wife and she said um so are you guys going to the juneteenth celebration we said honey no no actually we're not now what made you think we was going right you didn't ask me if i was going to celebrate cinco de mayo how come i automatically qualify for some stuff that i ain't even in personally right people are not ashamed one of the worst things you could say to a female and many of us learn that the hard way is when are you due that's bad it just makes you want to be a turtle just tuck and roll man you just did i oh actually i'm not pregnant my god you're not praying i'm so sorry did i just say that ma'am i'm so sorry i stopped saying that stuff when i was a kid i learned long ago and mama taught me you never ask a woman why she's going to the doctor so i do i just i don't ask ladies nothing when ladies come up here for prayer i can be under the anointing if they start going too deep i'd be like sister rogers come on up pam get with this sister right here cause he telling me some stuff that i'm not trained to hear y'all let her tell you what she need then call me back and i'll lay hands on her just like this i don't want to hear all that but in this culture guys that's where people are they're intentional in their conversations can you be intentional in your con okay here we are everybody's saying hey man hallelujah all servants along who's taking the challenge on of having somebody in church next sunday that's a challenge oh yeah it's a challenge yeah it's a challenge i didn't say you made a vow but at least take the challenge if you get here next week and you don't have nobody we're not gonna send you home but the challenge is you tried are you gonna try now if we do that challenge for four weeks and you have nobody somebody lying you you're not trying hard enough uh-oh active salesmanship learn from your car salesmen learn from all these guys and gals out there that know not only how to bait people in but how to close the deal you need jesus y'all can i tell you folk got saved with me this past week you know how they got saved because i was unashamed i did it so caring so compassionately but no i brought jesus up uh intentional conversations and one day they may be at this church are you all getting that revelation number two active follow-up what type of follow-up active now don't get that violin i'll pass it out and text them three times i've called them they won't come right so you might shake the dust on that person how many all know there are exceptions to every rule and biblically that's not even an exception because for them as pastor ronnie taught his church it's going to be a witness you're sharing the gospel with them will be a witness in eternity hey i sent beverly to share the gospel with you and you didn't accept jesus right but you followed up in mental health we understand that we give a patient at least two calls all psychiatric units understand that when somebody is discharged you follow up make sure they got inappropriate services now if they don't want to talk to you they won't call you back they won't deal with you but have you done your part you documented it you did everything active follow-up the people i invited to church it was not only are you coming to church it was what service are you coming to and in many cases didn't get to do it yesterday because of busyness but anything hey just a reminder just want to make sure that we're good i'll see you tomorrow you're going to eat with me up top what's your plans having people to commit do you know that even some sinners will honor their word y'all don't like this talk it's good this is kingdom preaching there some some unbelievers y'all man i've had unbelievers say now look here um i don't live right but if i tell you i'm gonna do something i'm gonna do it anybody know somebody like that that don't know jesus all of us do they will honor their word they will at least come and give you a head nod in service and then what happens is spiritual the gospel see it's not conversation that wins people anyway it's the gospel you can't get them saved in the grocery store get them to church get them to the gospel because the gospel is going to prick their heart last point we'll close here you've been gracious then number three i love this y'all purposive evaluation purposive evaluation what does that mean pastor what what is purposive evaluation you know what purposes means to do something on purpose so last week even before i had this message completed and and god inspired me through some of these events i was out and i was playing with clyde a little bit and um i had parked him back and those you don't know clyde is that's my 1971 volkswagen super beetle or beetle he's really a hybrid he's a mutt he's got some of everything in him but um that's my car my fun car i drove clyde around a little bit amen take him as far as the grocery store till he proves himself not driving to charlotte with him no more so he do 12 trips to the grocery store so he had to prove himself and then i parked him back and and there was some neighbors that i had already invited to church one was out cutting his grass there were other neighbors out with his wife one of the gentlemen that i invited with whom june eventually came and start washing his car and he then invited as well one man planet another water god gives the increase he was outside with his wife and that brother came to the men's fellowship he's visited the church before this other member that was cutting his grass he has visited our church before so i just took a notion and it was one of those days where you know generally speaking i'm not dressed like this but y'all know when you got sweatpants on a polo shirt and the sandals with socks i don't go anywhere like that but i'm in the neighborhood everybody cutting their grass i got a striped polo shirt long sleeve sweatpants and i got on sandals with the socks y'all understand where i'm coming from closed-toe sandals and socks so my feet are profoundly hot and i'm outside but i said ron i'm gonna go talk to these guys so i did i started with my neighbor that junior and i uh well i don't think i started with him i think i got him at the end but the other guy i went up there he's back there cutting grass and this guy man i'm telling military too like navy seal style guy has been to a bunch of tourists iraq that's who this guy is so you don't want to be rolling up on him all the muscles in the earbuds going through the grass like that in the shades where you can't see his eyes like i will kill you and have no emotions you all know them shades that's kind of black blue and green oh and then you rub them together yeah he got dumb shades on right and and i kind of know he's a tough guy so like i couldn't see him at first he had already gone to his backyard and i came around that corner i made sure that brother saw me i said neighbor hey neighbor from social distancing of about 13 feet make sure he saw me and then he said oh and he releases he released his armor and he came and he started talking to me he's a nice guy but he is like navy still like he this is true he didn't he didn't just get deployed he asked to go a few times he went once and then he wanted to go back because he wanted to hand it to him that's that neighbor we'll say cool he'll be your future armor brother that brother be sitting right up here when we get him in the kingdom oh yeah he's going to be a good teammate guys somebody come up here talking about i need prayer he's going to uh uh you don't go up there for prayer you check with somebody if you want prayer now go on back to your seat you yoke him up he's that kind of guy so you know i talked to him but here's the evaluation i say hey i know you and your wife came on sunday he said we had a tremendous time pastor it was so rich he said oh my god he said i gotta tell you the thing that really caused us to say that we need to consider how we do worship he said i looked at all of your kids and the young people in your church and they were so well mannered and he said i had to go out a number of times with mine right what was his barrier family management so we began to talk about that but do we have any solutions for that next sunday we have youth and children's church at 10 o'clock so what was my life i said hey man come on back because guess what starts on the second sunday in september he said really hey guys it's all about having solutions the other neighbor at the corner went down to he and his wife yeah we attend this other church but we got to get to your church because they don't have bible studies anymore they don't have bible studies then i'll tell you one more which was real comical and he promised he's come in and he's going to be here and that's great i said well start at the bible study then see what you like see what you think can you go to somebody else's bible study try it out but then last but not least it was one more neighbor he was cutting his grass too and i never met this neighbor but you know i went to meet him and and he's that techie guy y'all know the people that wear gray every day and they roll their sleeves up with every outfit he's out there he's cutting he's cutting he's cutting he's probably my age maybe a little older and uh he stops his grass and i start talking to him he tells me how he moved in from ohio he gives me all these other things everybody say purposive engagement all right what was purposive or rather purposive evaluation what was that with the last guy finding out what the barrier was why didn't he want to come back did i have a post-church conversation then i'll go on to my other neighbor did i talk to him after he visited candidly what'd you like what didn't go so well for you well my kids just would not sit down that was my issue see where i'm coming from solve this problem you might win the whole family and we're doing that last but not least the last neighbor i met you know it was kind of funny and i'll tell you what was funny about it his name was bob and i said hey sir how are you my name's gabe hey hey bob i said great man i said welcome to the neighborhood he said yeah we've been here for five years i said praise god i said well let me back up and apologize because i've not come to see you since you moved in said praise god bob i'm so sorry i said a knock on your door eons ago we had an awesome conversation shared christ with him shared our church he's a nice guy too and then we started talking about his floor plans because i've been in his house before before he moved in there right i knew the guy who used to live there all that kind of good stuff and it's just rich well now bob knows something about jesus and he also knows something about the inconsiderate pastor right around the corner that doesn't welcome people appropriately i don't know i said yeah bob i live two doors down right on the corner but welcome to the neighborhood bob so why is that funny y'all because see when we evangelize we gotta learn be relevant we evangelize we got to know how to catch people's lob what is the best approach right don't look at somebody cam size and automatically assume he knows about the patriots and giants that brother might be like oh i play tennis are you all getting this i do this on purpose just because i see a kid in my practice from the inner city i don't ask him what his favorite sports team is first i purposely to raise up dignity ask him what's your favorite subject i want him to know that there's more than sports and athletics that he can be academically brilliant what are you saying in evangelism we're making no assumptions but we are finding common ground are you all getting this so with bob i kind of missed it a little bit but i had the personality to bring it back around and we laughed about that and now we know each other and now in time bob will be at this church my navy seal guess what let's get a sandwich sometime absolutely are y'all getting that and when we get a sandwich i'm gonna make sure my back is to the door and he can see the door that's just the clinician in me amen are y'all getting this so important guys that we get back to evangelism can i say something i'm closing i don't feel like this is a waste of a sunday i'm telling you you came to church hurting today you want to get rid of your hurts get about the father's business and he cares about your hurts meet me at 10 o'clock i'm gonna talk about how to keep your mind right all that kind of good stuff but i'm telling you the best thing that ever happened in my life is to come to know jesus and get active for jesus it's nothing like it nothing like the father's business i was doing an interview with mrs gould earlier this week for her tv show and we were talking about abortion and and and the ill the evils of it and all that kind of good stuff and i'll be honest man in that moment i was a little tired in my body all that kind of good stuff but when i sat down to do that interview with her i came invigorated in my spirit it was just in my soul it was just that i understand that despite how busy i am how i may feel this is the father's business and nothing is more important than this and somebody's going to save their baby because of it can you see the other side that's evangelism that's making disciples what a blessing what a blessing come on let's stand to our feet let's pray that out can we keep it that simple good to see you man amen let's keep it that simple let's pray it out we gotta win people you might be in here today you're not quite so sure and listen to how i say this that if you die today you're 100 sure you go to heaven pastor gabe i'm not quite sure i kind of think i am i almost did but if that's you um i remember getting saved when i was six but i never really lived that i don't know but if that's you today come on come on come on there you go brother come on come on come on god loves you man come on come on who else he's not the only one i can't tell you 100 that if i died today i'd go to heaven it's so people the church is gonna continue to grow and it is it's growing anyway but it's gonna grow because guys nothing's more important you know reggie and karina they closed on their new house last week so austin hey man now give me credit did i tell any secrets i didn't tell no secrets i didn't tell anybody all right except those who work in the business that would have known but they closed on their house but you know what that house is so awesome and we're gonna celebrate with them but guys has your house ever filled you with the holy ghost though in the last five days anything like that supernatural because of the house no you know why because it's material guys clothes on your houses have babies those are wonderful things but there is going to be no thrill like somebody you discipled coming up in the things of god somebody you know that you ministered to come here yeah come on mm-hmm come on come on dear and pam this precious young lady right here this somebody you ministered to four or five years ago however long it's been look at her today look at how she now now she's running the workout classes on the campus look at her today somebody that somebody else just took some time with got her master's degree full paid for didn't just oh just why why because that is discipleship go make disciples but that's a part of evangelism and these wonderful individuals thank you precious they will be no different i love seeing you come every time every time i mean it love you yeah every time keep coming yeah man and angie you know i love you yeah girl that's how you get rid of all the traumas all the things that have happened can we lead them to the lord is that all right come on guys pray this after me dear jesus jesus i believe i believe you died on the cross for me for me and i believe and i believe you rose from the rose from the dead for me for me so i confess with my mom i confess with mine and i believe in my heart and i believe in my heart you as lord you as the lord of my life lord of my life as a result as a result of this prayer of this i i am saved amen now guys just lift your hands father fill them with the holy ghost in the name of jesus holy ghost and fire god fill them with your precious spirit in the name of jesus lord let them to understand it more but god you can do the infilling right now and out of their belly flows rivers of you don't have them but you want to be what's the difference between the holy ghost and salvation the bible says have you received since you believed i do believe in that second blessing i believe we can pray in tongues i do i believe i believe in the gifts of the spirit you want to be filled or you want an extra touch from the lord come on gabe lift your hands father in the name of jesus fill him holy ghost in this culture guys you do you do you do you do you need the things that accompany salvation fill these precious little ones with the holy ghost they matter to god even at this age and stage in the name of jesus watch this when they got filled with the holy ghost they went and witnessed that's what caused them to witness because they were filled father feeling feeling feeling that's peace of god peace of god in jesus name you might be here today and you just know this is your church you know this is where god wants you i'm okay if the next service starts a little late i'm gonna do god's business but you know this is where god wants you i want you to step forward we want to let you join this church if that's what god is saying we want to receive you this morning hallelujah coming jesus is coming he's coming it is time now to be a part of the right church he's coming i show yes i showed the ministry this morning just churches uh even in our own city and abroad some now requiring you to be vaccinated to go to church i say my god where have we come to even if you believe in that stuff you require people to come to meet jesus and you're a church i don't know what you're searching for but you need to be a part of a spirit field church if that's you come on open it up for one more minute just come stand next to my sister right here we're going to receive her anybody else if this is your church this is the hour guys i wouldn't kick the kick the tires any longer i would join in with some people that got the right mind right thinking in this hour and we'll shepherd you we'll love you so if you fill that pool come on down it's okay come on down no buyer's remorse come on down it's okay god wants to love you i see you see i know somebody else here that's why my spirit didn't let me go y'all give her a hand clap come on man come on come on down just come right here yeah yeah see now like i don't know my precious sisters personally but when i see them i see a soul god loves this lady did you know that i said god loves this lady both of them god loves them god loves people man he loves people he loves and we're usually out of church by now but you think god will keep it open for some souls some people to get what they need anybody else come on he's coming he's coming and no you don't go to heaven because of the church you're a part of but i'm gonna say something real powerful you got a stronger chance getting there by being a part of the right church stronger chance by being a part of the right church pressure pressure pressure all around us in this world but we can encourage one another all right my sisters thank you for coming down we love you so much i can't wait to shepherd you in being part of your lives and through our discipleship system uh we just asked four key questions and candace will ask you more and set you up and bring you into the commonwealth of believers but um we do want to make sure letter a that you've given your heart to jesus have you done that have you done that man amen will you agree to follow pastor as i follow christ will you do that will you do that ma'am will you agree to walk in love with your brothers and sisters is that okay will you agree to tithe and give offerings to this church will you do that all right how do y'all feel about our newest members amen yes god bless you anniversary team has let me know that there's some things they're wanting to do this morning so i want to honor that uh it's 11 minutes to the hour but i don't want to cut them short every sunday because um they they have desires to do some things i'm going to turn it over to them to do just that and then after that amen we're going to get ready thank you seku i'm going to give you this mic up amen amen who's excited to celebrate our pastor next month amen amen pastor we want to say thank you we are representing the youth committee or the youth ministry this week and we wanted to um share how much we love you how much we think you're worthy the bible says that um let the elders who rule well they are worthy of double honor i apologize so we know that you're worthy let's give god a shout of praise if we know our pastor is a worthy of double honor amen so sean if you had some words what what do you think makes pastor worthy of double honor the way he shows us love and just how he cares for us and just you know just being a good example of golly man amen amen kyra what do you think um the way he shows respect to us he doesn't treat us like we're different from everybody else amen i think that's very important pastor we thank you for loving our youth let's all the youth who are in the room let's stand up everyone who is young amen pastor on behalf of all of youth ministry we want to say thank you um you show you've always shown us how much you support us but even more so coming up with the building of the community or the youth building and then just you investing your time and efforts into the growth of our youth and getting them before they fall off the cliff instead of after so we appreciate you and we also want us to recognize that it's not adults who just give to our pastor so our youth their givers as well so they're all of us are looking forward to giving to you on your anniversary you
