really expect the move of god i really expect some miraculous things in my life i expect some healing i expect some breakthrough i expect some favor that's why i came to church i didn't come to waste been good i said i know you got a good job but who's the god that gave you the job come on to give him some glory in the house today thank you lord amen amen amen hallelujah what a what a what a move of god already praise sets the atmosphere for god to do what he wants to do is that all right he said he would do what and habit what did he say do he would live where the praises are he inhabits the praises of his people you have not praised him enough until you've been blamed of giving them too much glory you've not praised them enough until people are looking at you out of the side of their eyes you've not given him enough glory until your neighbor wants you to sit down because that's enough maybe you can sit down but when i think about the fact that i've been on my way to hell that i credentials i mean these folk on the front row they they got master degrees shouting like that saw a lawyer over here dancing i saw a dentist to my right future dentist and i mean you know and people shouting and then i saw this cyber security guy dancing and he was dancing a long time but you know he got his masters yesterday so that that's worth shouting about right what are you saying hey y'all do we remember who brought us from where we came from is that okay i remember that everything i have is because of him i didn't bless myself amen so when i'm in the office i know how to be sophisticated not when i come to church amen because there's a time for everything and it's time to worship him now come on receive your glory your your refueling to this week receive all that you're needing even in this atmosphere god we we believe we receive strength for the journey and we worship you even now in jesus name amen amen well come on clap your hands one more time it's it's offering time are you ready to give all right i i i my exhortation today will not be long because i really just want to jump in his word i am so glad i don't know if i did this right but i want to do it again to be married to one of god's greatest finest wives in this world i thank god for my sweet wife how do you all feel about first lady rogers we always call her that she's so special and uh did they put on an exciting women's conference or what that was awesome and ladies i hope you'll stay today for women's fellowship come back with your jeans and pant suits on or whatever you like to wear or don't leave just go up top and eat and come back down we're going to have a blast today we're going to uh knock it out the park in men and women's fellowship so i want you to join us this afternoon uh i am just need a church experience you know what we need discipleship you need church family did you know that you need people that you could connect with in this culture amen and i'm so glad this morning guys here today and what a blessing amen y'all that makes you smile when when people come and you know what's so rich about that uh there are still people in this world left that keep their word is that right people say hey i'm coming and then they keep their word and you see them show up what a blessing amen so we're glad to have you good to see you in every thing and be in between we're getting ready to receive our morning offering i won't do too too much talking but is uh is trey still here did i see young trey back there there he is i was perusing the audience go and raise your hand trey yeah so it's me and you this afternoon buddy he's talking all that junk i'm telling you i'm i'll make sure i didn't forget yeah i brought my new balances i'm gonna do this men's fellowship and don't leave i'm coming to this court right there buddy me and you he's telling me that i couldn't beat him in basketball and he didn't know that the only difference between me and steph curry is i just didn't go in the draft i was supposed to go but they drafted me and i told them no i said no it's not for me i'm a pastor so take steph instead so steph he got the position and i stayed here in charlotte you know you know steph curry's from charlotte i told steph i said you go i'ma stay i got work to do for the lord how many all know lying is wrong you shouldn't lie the bible says thou should not lie now that was not the truth i just preached the message this morning on deception so i i just couldn't let that go good to see you guys again i i i couldn't let that go but i am going to play trey this afternoon and don't leave trey get you a slice of pizza and then come on up now because all that's the view saying it's on buddy me and you all right so we're gonna get it and speaking this must be the days of trace because i got another tray on the front row i'm so proud of and uh he is trey what year are you in high school now senior stand-up trade what a powerful young man see this way you keep your guys in church this fellow came up in this church this tall and now i wouldn't play him in anything with that frame he is he is he is uh he is all you know all muscles so this is this is trey and trey had an exciting thing happened this week right trey come on stand up here with me i know you don't like the limelight but come on in i know you don't like it but i'll make you do it anyway come on up here y'all put on the screen his accomplishment this is going to be our offering exhortation let's look at the screen [Music] this this brother right here um received from taco bell where he had been faithful as a worker even during high school what what did you receive from them from the taco bell foundation scholarship the five thousand dollar what kind of scholarship live mas which means live more in spanish yes right live moss the liv moss scholarship amen and i am so proud of him he's not out on the streets he's not doing stuff he shouldn't be doing working his job honoring his parents and um and i i believe he's graduating so tell the people what you're gonna do after you graduate what's what's your plans all right so i'm gonna go to uncc and i'm gonna go study like finance and accounting kind of like my dad yeah so at first i thought about being an accountant but my dad said i should go finance because that's the path he didn't go and he said he think it'd be better for me so i'm gonna that's what i'm gonna try to do actually i'm gonna sit that's where i'm gonna go dude isn't that awesome y'all remember it's all in the family you're trying to find your purpose now his dad's controller i mean for major organization and all that kind of stuff and you know you don't have to look further when your dad is a math genius and uh and knows business and dad has an mba you're gonna get your mba too or okay so you'll go study business finance at uncc then you'll go and get your mba and all that kind of stuff man i'm so proud of you and i am so proud of you all right and i want to i want to feature these guys on purpose we're getting ready to have our own videos for exhortations but i really do want the world to know and this is no knock on anybody of any other ethnicity but they need to know that it's still some young black men that know how to conduct himself that's doing it right that's honoring god okay clean shaven looking good all right loving god so that's what we need and you don't know who he will impact today somebody will stream on it's a lot of people that watch us on television and online and some come here to the church somebody will see this and they will say that's what i aspire to be that's what dreams are made of trey i'm so proud of you and i'm glad you're staying in charlotte that's great that's great that's good give them a hand cut that's wonderful so let's just add a a scripture to that i want to talk this morning about faithfulness during the offering and then we're going to get into our sunday morning message but i want you to know that faithfulness will pay off dave it works and i know you know that dave junior i want you to look at job chapter eight verse number seven y'all know we're a word church so we're gonna just get in the word um in here and then we're gonna go to the message and i think we'll be very timely today uh those of you who are members it's time for camp kingdom amen and so after service today i want you to meet sister nicole phope and sister branham over here so they could talk about the logistics of summer camp and things of that nature but listen to what the bible says in job eight and seven it says though your beginning was small is that all right yet thy ladder in will do what greatly increase though you're beginning to see though your beginning be small what's going to happen in your ladder in it's going to greatly increase how many i just feel led of god that's for you this morning amen and you're doing it too faithfulness right small beginnings there's another prophet that said despise not the day of small begin you know where this this 12 acre campus church started with with with highest ratings on fox tv for religious program you all know where we started in my counseling practice small beginners tanya you were there small beginners few chairs a few people who just love jesus just wanted to do right by their husbands and wives wanted to honor god came together and it was birth right but though your beginning would be small don't give up in the beginning right your ladder end will do what to you greatly increase it gets better it gets better if i stay what faithful to god see if i could do this proverbs i think 28 and 20. we all put that on the screen just real fast all right because we're talking about faithfulness during the offering exhortation how did trey get a 5 000 scholarship from taco bell being faithful i bet you he was going to work on time and honoring god i bet you that was what he was doing somebody would have said that's just a little piece of job for a high school student well i bet you he managed that piece of job right and somebody's going to be able to buy some books you know defray the cost of at least a semester if not two right yeah because you were faithful you'd be faithful the faithful the bible says in proverbs 28 and 20 will do what abound with blessings on this one there are things that come and occur because you are faithful you abound with lessons my wife didn't just get a mother's day gift this year okay she got her mother's day gift but she got what i call mother's day aftermath see there's a mother's day aftermath in the rogers household so later this week she got another delivery but you know why she got another delivery because she had been faithful to god and her husband and when you're faithful you know what happens people start liking you i'm just teaching out of my heart during the offering when you're faithful and you do what you're supposed people start being like man let me figure out how i could do something for her she's you know yolanda you've been faithful elon yolanda is just on my mind i just want to do something for yolanda god's the same way y'all we get ready to move forward in the service but if you'll be faithful to him you will abound with blessings god has no problem with you having the kind of cars you like the kind of homes you want to live in you know some of you like you know using certain ladies i'm sure pocket books and things of that nature i i just i don't preach against that amen because god has no problem with the things you like he has no problem with you enjoying uh first timothy 6 17 he gives us all things to uh enjoy as long as it doesn't get ahead of god right and he will cause you to abound with blessings and it's not just material sometimes a blessing i don't know about you all but a blessing for me is hanging out here on sunday this is a blessing we don't have to be underground like a communistic country this is a blessing right and we are bound with blessings god says if you'll be faithful and what else could we be faithful in pastor well we can be faithful in our giving into good ground we can be faithful in giving to church where money is used appropriately where the kingdom of god is promoted we can be faithful and honoring god with the tool of our finances because if we are faithful in doing that we have nothing to expect but good to come out of it i want you to look at mark iv they were doing the recording for the television and i used this as an exhortation and i want to give it to you this morning then we're going to get into our message but over in mark chapter 4 the bible says it so well in in in in terms of seed and soil how many all know it's got to be on good ground verse number seven says and some fell among thorns thorns grew up and choke it and it yielded how much fruit no fruit how much fruit no fruit y'all do we need to be thoughtful about where our tithing offering go do we need to be thoughtful about where our resources go some of you give to a person that says they're poor just because you have pity you need to pray and ask god if god told you to do that because you might be hampering their growth did you know that maybe they're in a season of chastening maybe they're in that situation because they dishonored god and they need to run back to the cross and you're coming and passing them out 25 to make things easier and better did god tell you to do that he also says give to the poor does he not it ought to be spirit-led amen some of you would never give to somebody who's rich but you missed it the bible says he who has more will be given that's how you put a pull on someone's grace you sow into abundance and guess what you read abundance genesis 1 and 11 every seed produces after its own kind and then you still give to the poor and you give to whomever god tells you to give does that make sense you sow in the ground where he tells you to sow well i equate that sakara to sowing into good churches why is the church getting your money that's not open i don't understand that i mean are you sustaining them while the pastor's at his beach house no they need to open up and disciple people and help people out is walmart open is disney world open do y'all think the church ought to be did y'all know the abortion clinic never closed do you know in in new york for african americans for black people we are in birth decline i went to the margaret singer clinic saw a woman and i said it was with much love and grace or the night before i got there nine months pregnant because they had passed a law allowing people to abort their babies up to however long nine months pregnant go in and abort her baby and some of you cringe at that because you say well godly that's a human being well he was a human being before he became nine months same scenario it just gives you more of a hit because you see it on the outside right well those clinics never close god's churches need to be open serving people preaching the gospel discipling people are you listening to me and if that's the case then where should our seed go we'll read verse number eight i hope this is helpful tell somebody he's not about your money very important that you understand that and others fell on what kind of ground good ground what is good ground always remember this ground that produces that's all good ground is how do you know something is good ground it's ground that produces do you plant seed in red clay dirt no that's not what kind of ground it's not good ground do you plant seed and ground by which helps your daughter keep her virginity though yeah that's probably good ground yeah you want your sons around trey and reggie and the rest of you because you know what that's good ground the the existence of this church is good for the success of others does that make sense i got some older and younger graduates shaylee you stand up i'm so proud of her um coming through dental school here and um you know graduated yesterday with that credential and just so proud but you know i remember shayla coming up through the ministry another one you know and i saw her make those godly adjustments and fall in love with god you see what i'm saying so proud of her i'm proud of her i'm proud of her mom but you know what that is all a product of the grace of god but it's a product of influence and what kind of ground good ground thank you shayla you know you need your wives husbands around dainty soft women you need husbands your husband or wives your husband's around solid stalwart godly men none of the brothers at this church rubbernecking well did you see that no cause if we see we to beat them up not over here you can't do that over here yeah hey hey bro what's your problem man that's my sister in the lord you we don't do that here amen good ground good problem so you keep your brother your men around you keep your kids in something safe and healthy you keep your resources going to the church that's preaching the gospel of jesus christ on television so that people who you will never meet can get born again and come to know jesus they write letters to the church all the time what about that letter we just got from the gentleman who'd been sentenced to prison for 60 years and watches this telecast every single day and talked about how it literally changed his life i don't know if i'll ever meet him in person i hope i hope i will i don't know but i tell you what because your seat has kept this broadcast going in prison systems and going in places where the gospel could not go especially during covent right people are being helped how many all know good ground is simply ground that does what produces and what do you get in return it yields fruit that springs up and increase brought forth some 30 something 60 and somewhat 100 fold that's enough for the exhortation trey really taught it for me with that wonderful scholarship because he had been faithful y'all if you'll be faithful over few what happens next he's going to make you rule over many it's call ourselves alert in the name of jesus and we dress up again our feet are shot with the preparation of the gospel of peace our loins are girded about with truth we have on the breastplate of righteousness the shield of faith the sword of the spirit the helmet of salvation we have love and our faith works by love we have keys to the kingdom and we begin to bind that devil every spirit every satanic force in the name of jesus we render you powerless and ineffective and we degree that today is a day of fruitfulness abundance and overflow in jesus name amen amen we love you we love may be seated all right i'm so excited about this this lesson today and i just want you to walk through a few scriptures with me come with me to matthew chapter 24. amen we were there this morning let's go back to matthew 24 and i will tell you we are going to teach topical i'm not going to stay in any one passage i plan to float around as i'm led but i believe that this is going to be a strong blessing because i believe that this word is in season amen i believe that it applies to where we are today and how many of you are praying with me anybody praying with me want to see this thing come off amen so be believing with me for utterance this morning because i believe it's going to be helpful we've been talking about the anointing right and i believe that this is going to just really propel you into god's purpose and plan for your life uh and also answer some questions about where we are socially and culturally so over in matthew chapter 24 the bible says and jesse answered uh excuse me jesus answered and said it to them t take heed that no one do what deceive you matthew 24 and 4 jesus answered and said to him take heed that no one deceives you remember that from eight o'clock service we are in a time of great deception take heed though that you don't get deceived christian and you will hear of wars and rumors of war anybody hear of any wars lately i think we heard of a few wars i think we have seen some wars i think we sometimes equate war to just an international battle and that is going on as well as we see over in israel uh that that they are under a massive attack right now but but a war is what goes on in our streets amen when there is lawlessness did y'all know that yeah the tearing down of property the the the open shows amen those are wars amen uh anything anti-human being is a war right so he said you would see you would hear wars and rumors of wars but he said to the christian in this see that you are not troubled to the believer to the person that has given his or her heart to the lord make sure that this does not scare you i never once during 2020 walked around saying these are scary times i didn't say that i acknowledged what others were battling i i considered compassionately what people are going through and uh but y'all i've been quoting psalm 91 all year long that no plague would befall me and no evil come now cause i am not trouble verse 16 of psalm 91 with what kind of life long life what does he do he's satisfied we have a promise so he says see that you are not troubled not deceive but see that you are not troubled for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet all of this stuff jesus promised was going to occur when everything started going on in the nation and socially you know what i did i opened up my bible i looked at the word and i said ah there it is yeah god told me he told me what was going on he told me what was good what was going to occur in this time and season why because we are in the last days and in the last days what kind of times were going to happen perilous same word difficult times would come the bible told you projected that this was going to occur yet jesus gave us a promise and said see that you are not troubled see or you are not dismayed let's keep reading and i'll give you my subject for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet for nation will rise against nation have we seen that kingdom against kingdom and here's my line for today's message and there will be famines there will be shortages so i want to talk for a few minutes this afternoon from the thought the opportunity in shortage because he told me not to be troubled so that must mean that shortage is a lob for the christian that there is a god-ordained opportunity in short if you know anything even about american history many of your national companies multi-billion dollar corporations had their inception during the greatest downfall of america are you listening to me because they took advantage of the opportunity in shortage i do not make light of this at all but i was looking at forbes uh four or five six billionaires made during the covet well some mass company hello some pharmaceutical company you know what they did they got in the gap of a need of a shortfall they solved the problem as they would would see it are you following me so back to the kingdom of god he said there would be famines and for the sake of finishing that verse there would be pestilences microscopic bugs and sicknesses and diseases there would be pestilences and earthquakes and what various places we'll teach that out on another sunday but today i want to deal with that concept of there will be famines how many all know that's inevitable now the first thing i want you to understand as i teach this word is that there is i'm going to contradict myself for a second there is absolutely no shortage but there is no shortage for the people of god who are in the kingdom of god are you all with me there's no shortage for us we are if you will a non-participant in the shortage well pastor gay where where where do you get that philosophy from we don't have time to go to all these scriptures but but just just just take my word or look it up jesus said it so well he said my kingdom is not of this world he said i'm not a participant in this world in fact he told us that we are in this world but we also are not of this world in john 17 5 he prayed for us in this world so there is a shortage in this world of a multiplicity of things a multitude of things by which the world is in shortage but in the kingdom of god there is no shortage are you all with me now somebody don't like what i just said because well y'all live here too how y'all going well yeah but what you mean there was a gas shortage just this this past week we all please put my little picture up for a second there was a gas shortage just this past week pastor gabe how could you stand up there so buoyantly and declare that there is is no shortage well you know i kind of put this picture up there because my wife and i uh got gas five out of seven days this week various vehicles or whatever we was driving all of them got gassed up so on the last day that i decided to get the gas that i didn't need just to prove a point to y'all i took a selfie i said because the saints need to be reminded who we are and whose we are our citizenship is in heaven philippians 3 and 20 and you ought to shout about the reality that our god will supply all of our needs according to his riches and glory now i'm gonna get up and drive to work every day because in the kingdom there is no shortage where are you getting that from what if everybody's running out god will tuck a gas station in your neighborhood where nobody else knows it exists and you'll be buttered up for the next two weeks however long it's going to take for a pipeline to refuel you and you'll get everything you need because there is no shortage you all can take that picture now not for the kingdom not for believers there is no shortage and i'm going to prove that in scripture today i'm going to boilingly prove to you that the people of god always had when everybody else didn't have that is one of the benefits bless the lord and forget not his well what's a benefit come on when you go to the hospital come on you don't pay your own bill if you got some benefits am i in the house today come on if you got some warranty on your vehicles you don't fix it with your own money amen you just take that truck back and tell them put it on the list cause you got some [Applause] that's a benefit to the believer well what if what if what if there's no what if for us can i let you in on a secret that's gonna blow your natural mind if you're as busy as me staying home a few days wouldn't bother you [Music] wouldn't hurt my feelings nobody can go anywhere oh my god yes give me some coffee and a danish in my patio that i've been waiting to sit on for the last 10 years i went out on the patio yesterday for the first time i know in a long long time i was so excited to be out there on that patio y'all oh my god i was just sopping it up it was so awesome i told all the kids and my wife i said y'all come out here i said this is amazing look at the furniture we bought when we moved in come on out here and sit down on it try it out it hadn't even been broken yet i didn't say all that but the furniture is still plush we don't get the scent in it and so everybody started playing and the kids and my wife they just started passing the balls to each other they're having a good time and man i was so excited to be outside and in a neat space and then a fit of rage got a hold of me so they were just passing the ball then i took the ball and i started throwing bullets i started man it turned into dodge ball i was throwing balls at all my kids and my wife very hard just i got so happy one time throwing that christian i jumped in the air rev back so please give me three days off you all listening to me and see some of you you need to start changing your perspective when things don't work out the way you thought or wish it were to work maybe god's in the details because all things work together for the good of those who love god you had to stay home that day and that's the day the devil had an accident planned for you you had to stay home that day and that's the day the enemy had another strategy for you but thanks be under god he got ahead of the devil and he didn't allow him to do what he wanted to do in your life that's just a hint because sometimes you're praying against something that god's using to bless you oh you missed it oh i said sometimes you're praying against something god's using the blessing come on pastor rondy the water is filling up your living room then an ordinance comes out that says everybody that had water this high gets an incentive on their new house sometimes you're praying against something that god is using to bless you every college student in a north carolina city that didn't have gas for two days has a full scholarship oh praise god sometimes god is setting you up and some of y'all don't believe that and i'm not a socialist in fact i'm preaching against socialism today i am not a socialist i don't believe that you ought to take from somebody that has bust their hips to make it to the top and give it to somebody that wants to sit at home and burp i don't believe in that philosophy hello but i will tell you this this government is giving you money for nothing they're giving you stuff just because you're breathing [Applause] the opportunity y'all catching up with me now the opportunity in shortage they're just passing money out passing resources out to businesses you can have your staff on staff and get get a paycheck protection loan and then they'll they just forgive you loans just all kinds of stuff they're doing for people to help you in some ways and in other ways and make your government dependent companies can't find workers why would i go to work you crazy i'm gonna go flip a burger and they're giving me twice what i was going to make over there why can't find workers got to give people bonuses y'all that is your opportunity in the shortage won't you go and be faithful and outwork everybody and climb the ladder while all the other folks staying at home getting a handout won't you go and be outstanding and let the power of god move you to the top no get me off of unemployment amen i don't even like the sound of unemployment hallelujah over in genesis 21 because famine is a reoccurring theme in scripture and in this world but i want you to see how the believers were taken care of can we go to genesis 41-57 yo somebody say famine ain't nothing new and can i say something to my mahogany colored people in the room y'all we know how to make it is anybody here do you know where you came from even in the days of y'all anybody that can make hog intestines taste good because that's the only thing they threw at you and you made it popular we know how to make it i'm not saying that in snide way either we know how to come through troubled times come on this is why i don't give people a pass because they come over here and i thank god that to all of my members who are who are uh who are white and i got some sweet ones even in right now and they know that but uh they know they come over here and they be just like everybody else you know why because you know you might be in the minority over here but guess what where most of everybody in here goes you're in the minority all the time when you go work at the the the company the healthcare company or wherever you want in in one in 308 and so we got to get out of all of that all of that extra stuff all of that we need to make this accommodation i would come if the music was this way i would come if they would do more of that why don't you come because this is where you would meet god are you with me but back to today's point we know how to make it my jewish brothers and sisters the holocaust you can come through the holocaust but you know what my jewish brothers and sisters do so well they get some education because no matter where they get moved around they can always hang their shingle they got the doctors they got the lawyers they got the whomever they all they have always specialized in that in fact when i was getting my phd i went and interviewed one of the rabbis here in the city as a part of my cultural immersion project and we had that conversation and and the individual said to me said this is what we value we value education so they always have legacy in that space so mr bernstein owns the law practice and he passes it down to mr bernstein jr and he passes down to mr bernstein iii or mrs right somebody carrying that lineage meanwhile they built that in dilworth where the property value has gone up and they never sell it they don't let people come and re-gentrify and give them 12 000 more and steal your gold property just because somebody gave them by the time you paid taxes on it you take home six thousand dollars and 25 cents but you're rich right i'm ministering out of my heart but i'm preaching the word right right so back to today's point though famine ain't nothing new and we got to get above it in the kingdom because we are not of this world look at it so all the countries came to the man of god opportunity and shortage there was a famine in egypt but where did everybody have to go y'all everybody had to come to joseph everybody had to come to joseph who did everybody have to come to joseph who had the answer for their issue joseph in fact the bible says joseph gathered up all the money read it he got all the cattle he got everything he started bartering with them they had run out of stuff and they was like man just have mercy on us can we do this for everybody had to come to joseph they came to joseph to buy grain because the famine was what y'all it was severe weirdo and all the lens well let's rewind the tape and go to some of joseph's forefathers go to genesis 12 and 10. he came after them but you may as well see it because famine ain't nothing new are y'all walking with me because then i'm going to show you your opportunity but i got to build a case is that okay genesis 12 and 10. now there was a what in the land what was there in the land church there was shortage shortage they could we can't they well they can't get gas but they couldn't get no hay for their horses they couldn't get any resources for their cattle follow me there was a famine in the land and abram went down to egypt to dwell there because the famine was what severe in the land god will give you strategy as to where to go on what to do when famine occurs because there was a what in the land then he started making mistakes saying sarah was you know his sister not his wife but that's another lesson go to genesis 26 and one though god will give you strategy come on we're walking through scripture walking through scripture genesis 26 and law and one are you all there amen over in genesis 26 and 1 some translations say and there was another famine in the land the new king james says it so well there was a famine in the land besides the first famine that was in the days of abraham did y'all see that so these are then the days of isaac so now much like his dad and much like those in his lineage he is dealing with the same pattern of famine yo it ain't nothing new so we are not shocked by which where we are today because this is nothing new we are ahead we are aimos three and seven people i don't do anything unless i first reveal it to my sons the prophet we are ahead y'all just because they started uh releasing restrictions and all these things that they're doing in the world and you can do this now and you can do that now i did not run out there and say hip hip hooray i didn't i didn't because the bible says there will be peace and safety then sudden destruction if you know anything about end times all of this is a leading to the next event this is just one event what you came through over the last year and a half which i don't make light of is simply one event on the calendar of end times there'd be war there'd be famines all kinds of stuff would occur the bible assured that but what do we hold on to see that you not be troubled troubled in anxiousness deceived and troubled and in despair how are we going to make it no i know how we're going to make it there is as daniel said a god in heaven that's how we make it and we live in a kingdom remember thursday night's bible study don't resist the faith walk many of you want to walk by what you can see feel and touch whoo so glad things are back to normal you better get some spiritual intuition i told you on a prayer call this past wednesday i said y'all why are you worried about getting some gas won't you make sure you have some groceries you're going to eat gas are you listening to me don't you make sure that you have a bunch of non-perishables and that you are kingdom minded are you with me all your vitamins and supplements are in the house in plenty are you following me you are not coming to crisis just because something shut down why because you are in a deceptive world you are in a world that's driven by money by status you are in a world that will do anything to pad and fuel their pocketbooks and i don't say that as a political statement i say that as a kingdom state i'm in no party i'm in the kingdom of god are you listening to me i've seen republican presidents go out of office and in a month or two before they go out of offices gas prices go sky high well how did those prices and why did they go so high because they were oil guys are y'all getting this special interest are you getting this so you are not contingent on a government you're not contingent on a world system i'm sorry this is just switching kingdoms revisited this is just coming into the kingdom of god revisiting now you can sleep on me if you want to but when the next crisis come down come calling me talk about what we're going to do i'm trying to tool you today as to how to perform in this wicked world the world is wicked world is evil the world would choose evil over right because of depravity are you listening to me i hope i'm not born you amen over in genesis 26 and 1 what was their church a famine and i'm going to give you momentarily four points i won't be long but i'm gonna give you four points things that you should do to take advantage of your opportunity in famine but let me just read around isaac's story just to fuel you it leads you into that the bible says in genesis 26 and 12 then isaac did what what did isaac do church isaac sold somebody say don't forget that we'll get there later he sold in that land and reaped in the same year during the famine not after the famine he reaped in the same year during the famine a hundredfold now everybody else was struggling but isaac come on well don't stop reading there because he he read the hundredfold but let's look and see what happened to isaac he read the hundredfold and the lord did what bless him now let's look at his stages of blessing development verse number 13. the man during famine began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous smack dab in the middle of famine they had to come to joseph they had to come to isaac are y'all getting some trends here they had to come the people who had the blessing on their life he kept on prospering his businesses didn't go under come on he didn't get laid off come on and if he got laid off he got laid off to get another job with double the salary his marriage didn't fall apart in fact his marriage got enhanced because he and his wife was able to spend more time together how y'all know shutting down ain't all bad right they shut everything down yes yes [Music] baby it's a shutdown what we gonna do it's a shutdown what can we do any recreation anything out there see there's a shutdown go for a walk i'm just throwing y'all a lob no i'm not sorry no where's your mindset right famine is not scary for us he became how wealthy very wealthy verse 14 look at it for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and all of his workers were still gainfully employed yo when this stuff happened last year do you know we didn't lay off a soul do you know all of our contractors oh the sweet ladies and i'm not boasting in us but the sweet ladies that clean our church hispanic ladies they have their company they they contract and clean the church oh they were so excited and pleased and happy and thankful and grateful oh because guess what all of many of our others what did they say they had just shut down they just said can't can't do anything just shut down are you getting this but the church god's people and i didn't go on tv or in church and start begging for a bunch of money either because god is your source you don't shut down your business ought to be flourishing y'all do you understand the opportunity and famine you ought to get all kind of creative ideas as to how to be the lifter of this culture and do well doing it it's quiet but i'm doing better than y'all talking amen it's some good stuff and the bible says that not only did they do that but look at verse number 22 because this is going to be in my points the bible says in verse 21 first then they dug another well look at verse number 22 and they moved from there and they dug another will and they did not quarrel over it so he called its name rehoboth because he said for now for now the lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful right there in the land of famine but they dug another well why would i sit home socialism on unemployment instead of digging my wells of entrepreneurship instead of digging my wells of success instead of digging my walls of believing god because after all he promised to bless the work of your hands come on somebody shout give god something to work with all right come on let's walk through this thing this is the opportunity in famine now watch this supply and demand god creates demand for your supply he creates the demand for your supply i believe it's luke 17 21 don't have time to go there i'm just going off of memory but he creates demand for your supply he says the kingdom is in you amen the kingdom is on the inside of you and so there's going to become a day in a time by which the thing by which you have that god gave you would come into demand people would need what you have been called to do are y'all going to stick with me through this there would be a pull on what you have to offer are you all getting this i will not toot my own horn i want you to hear this very humbly and very soberly and i'm not doing this to get more business because it's not that i need any so really hear me soberly i'm not doing it for that reason although i'm not cutting business off just hear me real soberly when i say this but um you know years ago the lord told me to get in mental health years ago the lord told me that was a part of my calling it was hard it was difficult beyond college i went to school six more years i mean it was rigorous it was difficult but i knew god had me on an assignment so i did what the lord told me to do now once i did that catch this your opportunity and shortage let me tell you what started happening there became multitudes of families and individuals that started seeking out not only a phd but a phd licensed clinician who also happened to be a christian uh-oh who also happened to be a male are y'all getting that yes so when you go to the panels today try it when you get home very few male black christian phds on the insurance pills you know what the lord did he has made room for you y'all going to catch up he made room for who he called you to be listen to me young people that's why you go become a dentist because you're going to come in demand in a certain season well how did that blossom then i won't say the names for the purpose of the tape but then national sports leagues started reaching out to me and they were looking for a black male who was licensed with a phd who could also articulate and go city to city and train and work with and help and consult and do all that kind of stuff and nobody fit the bill except yours truth now i'm taking you somewhere if you stay with me because i'm telling you your opportunity is in shortage how did that opportunity come to pass one fateful day i was invited with one of my colleagues happened to be a psychiatrist he's an md they they invited us to do a state conference plenary talk they said we'd like you to come and and and we did a talk on best practices and christian counseling all right he talked about the the medical side of things i talk about the psycho psychotherapeutic side of things we did that talk side by side to a a a a a big audience of people and we did that talk now in that audience somebody's gonna catch hold of this in that audience was the same man that did my interview in new york i just didn't know he was in that audience but four or five years ago years later rather that same person who was sitting in that audience when i got to new york to do my consulting interview before the panel was the same person when i walked through the door and said oh i know him we got to get him he's the right one what am i saying if you conduct yourself when nobody else is looking when you think nobody else has you on your mind if you'll be faithful and you will not bow down you do best practices in christian i didn't denounce my belief system i didn't go up there and do some freudian theory of counseling i remained who i was in god and that opened the door wide open and the rest is history are you all getting this it's not about me come on take your seat it's about you recognizing that your opportunity is going to come candace because of a gap can i tell you something black women y'all are in demand i'm telling you my best friend had a prophetic word on it he was dead on but y'all the black woman in this culture up until now you guys have been the double minority but y'all now the culture after all this strife and all this stuff has happened they are oiled and ready to exemplify that they support now if you need to get rid of some of your guilt by passing over 10 million dollars to me how many all know how to take it if you need to patronize my black woman business so you can feel good about yourself having not done right for the last 45 years how many all know i will no you're all in season mel does that make sense the opportunity isn't shortage that's what we've got to do that thing that i sent out to y'all that's why we got to do it we got to do it because you got to take advantage of your moment you got to get in the cracks of god has smiled on me y'all read it again look at it for he called his name rehoboth because he said for now the lord has done what made rome y'all rehoboth is more than a fancy name people use for churches some people call their church rehoboth baptist church or something like that it's beyond just a name for a church rehoboth literally means the lord has made room for you but where did he make room for you in shortage in shortage in shortage it's your moment it's your time are you listening to me in fact if you listen to me preach this message you probably have a moment in a time right now amen because your opportunity is going to come relative to the shortage and the famine in the land i want to share this with you because god specializes in transforming people from obscurity to notoriety from lack to abundance that's what he specializes in and i asked the lord to just really walk me through this amen and i won't be long y'all but i asked him to walk me through this because you need to see biblical examples just one or two of how god can take somebody out of a hill i don't care if you're black red yellow white i don't care your background god can take somebody from nothing to something huge and it don't take him long and there are moments in your life where you're being watched amen by divine providence of god and you don't even know it where god is connecting dots and you don't even know it where somebody could be sitting in this church right now that's on assignment to bless your life and you don't and you bump into them on your way to the back you don't even know you have no idea all of the links in the spirit realm that come together that set you up to receive what god would have you to receive now let's put a godly balance on this message why is he going to bless you he blesses you to be a blessing he blesses you so you can help build that house we're building for pregnant moms are you listening to me he blesses you so that you can help with the mission he blesses you so that you can help perpetuate the kingdom agenda i'm telling you what i'm talking about when god put me in those arenas and places where he put me he put me in audience with certain people i know they wouldn't have heard the gospel had he not put somebody like me there but he knew that when he put me there i wouldn't be ashamed of the gospel of jesus christ no when i presented before the team owners i didn't get up and leave christ out oh no no no jesus came up he came in the room psychology and all now let's talk a little bit about jesus then afterwards some of them pulled me to the side i like what you because there's some secret disciples out there you all missed it yo i got more word than you got time understand that joseph who got jesus's body you know what he was a secret disciple but don't stop there he was a rich secret disciple he showed up and inquired of the governor may i have how did he get jesus's body in his tomb in history no jesus was of some value they cast life for his clothes so how did he get the body of the miracle worker all right he had influence i said he had influence they listened to him but you know what the bible calls him a secret disciple there are some secret disciples that got their eyes on you and you don't even know it you work a job you think it's all secular there's some christians in here there's some people on that job right now that's just like yeah no we i want him on my team something about that guy that's different won't you slip up in the break room and say i love the lord just say it by accident next week stop being so vague and invasive of your walk with christ why don't you try that don't you slip up and say i love the lord and i love my wife everybody else talking about the foolishness they're getting in won't you be the young lady i said no no no actually me and benny we going out this friday how many all know that's a show stopper we need some show stoppers you're not offensive we don't go with the wave come on right because the lord has made what for us room now go go with me now go with about is your opportunity to all my young people in the room i want you to hear me to all my middle-aged people in the room i want you to hear me to all my older people in the room what do i want you to do i want you to hear me because god's not leaving anybody out in here there is an opportunity where in shortage now god specializes in taking people from obscurity and taking people from poverty and taking people from nothing he likes using people who everybody else says will never be i don't i mean he just does he says i choose the foolish things of this world to do what confound the wise so i do that on purpose he likes getting people that that don't have enough he likes getting people that have a background aren't you glad for the blood of jesus anybody besides me had a background i had a background of not doing right in my life but the blood of jesus redeemed and for some reason i don't know what that is but like god loves taking some folk who he he got born again amen they didn't have anything before they met him i figured the reason out because he can get all the glory for what they have produced because those are the people who would say if it had not been for the lord that was on my side man it was number god that got me out of the project come on it was number god that got me out of that situation no i didn't measure up god loves using people like that and he'll turn him into a pastor a president a governor a first lady he'll turn him into a mother of four and they'll raise a successful family he loves that and i want to show you that in scripture because you all think about king david and i can tell i have your attention that's all you visualize him as but let's look at his track record let's look at his storyline and let's learn something about your opportunity so saul's servants spoke these words in the hearing of david and david said does it seem to you a life thing to be a king's son-in-law paul's right there the king had said he was going to allow david to marry macau because he really wanted to give him the macau to throw him off right so jonathan comes and tells him this story and david said man are you kidding me are you thinking this a life thing for me to be the king's son-in-law anybody in here ever got that opportunity and you was like who me this ain't no small thing they asked for me and david said does it seem like a light thing to be the king's son-in-law why david see i am seeing i am poor and lightly esteemed did y'all get that you know the highlight underline that everybody in here uh who's coming from nothing going to something david said seeing that i am what poor and lightly esteemed all right now here is poor david shoveling sheep's mess poor david who doesn't qualify because he doesn't have the credentials poor david who doesn't have enough because he doesn't have the right family pedigree here is poor david who messed some stuff up quote-unquote because he's just not good enough as a matter of fact you talk about some low self-esteem even when samuel came to anoint the next king he didn't pay no attention to david he's looking at eliav or whoever else was in the house looking at david's other brothers right and the only thing that made him consider david is the spirit of god said there must be another one because my spirit's not allowing me to anoint these guys there's got to be somebody else do you have another son and jesse talk about low self-esteem his own dad didn't see him as great his dad was like no get the guys with the big biceps i'm sure you came for one of them i know yeah there is one but he in the backyard how many all know some of us came from the backyard oh hallelujah there is one in the backyard there's one back there that nobody could be using in a time like this oh if you came from the background you ought to shout hallelujah he said there is one in the backyard am i teaching all right say cool there's one who don't qualify there's one that you couldn't possibly want him i mean you couldn't possibly be thinking about him but how y'all know with man it's impossible but with god and i'm a thing and i'm possible you missed that revelation i said i'm a fang and i'm possible god can possibly use me if i'll yield myself to him god can possibly bless me if i'll give him my best self are y'all getting this revelation because he said pam i'm poor and what am i lightly esteemed let me teach a little i'll preach a little while pastor what's your point well let's see the god variable okay so here is poor and lightly esteemed david right then everybody say god so you started out as poor lightly esteemed but don't even try to figure out how you're going to get there just say god yeah you start out with nothing you start out with not even a boyfriend but then god right you start out with nothing you start out not knowing nothing you don't have the right mama don't even know who your dad is but then now let's see what happens on the other through with god i got a whole army i got people that worked for me now are y'all getting this but what was their what was their edge what did they do right god and they maximize the opportunity in shortage good god amen when nobody else is doing what god called you to do when it's your moment when it's your time that's your opportunity come on let's get one more scripture maybe two more says to him he says now solomon's temple is amazing but who is it among you that saw this temple in its former glory that is who saw solomon's temple because the people are upset because this current temple don't look nothing like solomon's temple it's kind of ran down it's not what it should be salmon's temple was huge right it was big it was rich and he said and how do you see it now in comparison with it is this not in your eyes as nothing get ready to take your before and after picture y'all gonna catch up with me in a second yet now be strong somebody say remember that point be resources how does he feel about his ability to supply your needs how does he feel about your ability to get gas to us the silver is mine the goat is mine sayeth the lord and the glory of the latter house will be what greater than the former i want you to think about your ladder house i want you to think about where god is taking you come on somebody the glory of this house where he's moving you to is going to be greater than that of where he brought you from hallelujah and i'm not just talking about a carnal house either you are a house you are a temple of the living god the glory of you is going to be greater in your future than where it was in your past come on somebody god's got some big things on his mind for you because the silver is mine the gold is mine god has resources and the glory of the what latter house is going to be now you can you can receive that for your house too amen but i'm talking about your personal house so there are four things and i close we're out of time that's enough for today four things that will maximize your opportunity and shortage four things four things i want to leave with you and they're all in the scriptures that i read and you can play maximize your opportunity and shortage how many y'all know you've been anointed for this time yeah you've been anointed to do what solve a problem why was david so successful because he killed goliath what did he do church he solved the problem you don't have time to sit home and just collect you've been anointed to do what solve a problem we won't go to all these scriptures just four quick points number one four things that will maximize your opportunity and shortage number one wisdom with a motive to please god wisdom with a what motive to please god why do you want to be wealthy why why do you want to have more why why do you why do you even want to get married people say lord i pastor i'm believing god to bless me with a husband well what do you want a husband for just so you can have somebody to kiss because god marries purposes are you getting this why do you want a new job so you can hoard more or so you can have a certain status no god gives people jobs and bonuses to bless the kingdom are you with me to help somebody else out you are blessed to be a so why did you say wisdom pastor gabe you read it on your own free time first kings 3 9-12 because what solomon did and i pray you'll read it this week solomon prayed for wisdom and what did god answer them he said because you asked for this everybody say right motives are you seeing the point come alive because you asked for this you didn't ask for the lives of your enemy you didn't ask for more money y'all sometimes let me just let you in on a secret i go into prayer and i don't pray for anything for gabe i just seek the kingdom of god and those are some of my best days because when i just go after him it's okay to ask for you asking you shall receive so there's nothing wrong with that but sometimes just let your heart get all in at the kingdom father i thank you right now that every visitor i invited the church comes the church uh today no not just so we can get some more of this or have more people to look at or or whatever the case may be but so that they and their families can be made better that's kingdom prayers that's right motives well if you pray with the right motives if you help people with the right motives guess what you'll get all the stuff did you hear what i just said so you are praying for wisdom what kind of wisdom yo it amazes me man somebody finally realized that they should put some hair extensions in a vending machine don't get mad at me i ain't saying nothing about your ear but i said somebody finally caught on that is not a bad idea yeah amen i'm not making fun of anybody i have no hair extensions but somebody finally said man they sell coke out of these they sell cheetos out of these why don't we put some here people can go to a vending machine i was in texas preaching not long ago i saw that i said well my god and they are knocking them down knocking them down people tired of having to drive in the neighborhood just and y'all this was in a mall don't be embarrassed it's okay i said i don't have no problem with hearing i'm not gonna make fun of of your hair amen i don't have anything to say about people's hair i'm very careful about that i'm trying to show you guys though your opportunity this is how people think outside of a box that's true amen i'm trying to figure out how to put spankings in a vending machine like when people are in the mall with their kids acting up somebody will be in a vending machine like this and the mom can go pay for it and then a big mama come out whip your child for you and then just go back in because you aggravated you know i'm trying to figure out how to do that what is that though that's a joke first of all but it's called the wisdom of god sometime remember you're fishing on the wrong side of the boat cashing that on the right side you're doing all this other work over here when you can get the same keep in two minutes if you just get on the anybody here beside me ever sat back and said i i i can't believe i'm doing this good doing this i'm talking about something you do where where is so valuable to other people and to you like man this is just was so easy right you could have done that with your eyes closed but because other people value it my wife and i were down at the super bowl one year and man oh man i tell you the skies opened up i think we was in arizona that time and it was about to rain thousands of people they shut down all up to uptown a sea of people one walgreens had umbrellas how about i bet they met their balance sheet in two hours you know why because we don't care that the umbrella costs 32 dollars i don't know what they was pricing it at but it wasn't cheap but how y'all know when people got up dues ladies don't want they stuff frying up so they was in there buying it by the robes i'm trying to get you to a point and we we use those tertiary things like products and services this is not a business seminar let's talk about the kingdom who's going to solve the issue of abortion let's talk about the kingdom are you ready for this the world it has been crippled by anxiety crippled it's not enough medicine and therapy to solve the anxiety that the world is in now and i'm not making light of that the world is crippled people need help by the groves just to come outside and be normal and all that just all that wickedness that went on world's been crippled by that it's so sad are you with me well who has the solution in the kingdom for that though right who's seeking god saying father i thank you right now show me how to do seminars so that i you all remember that i'm closing in a few minutes haggai two and four be strong and do what and work i gave you the scriptures on the front end i'm giving you the points on the back end be strong jeruba be strong and do what and work what did isaac do he dug again y'all remember that he went back and dug up those wells right put it put in your hand to the plow and working it working it yet now be strong as we will saith the lord be strong all you people to lay and say up the lord and do what work work y'all keep it up there for a second be strong and work because that's a good lead into point number three why recognize that god is with you now that's good news he says be strong be strong and work why because i am with you if god be for you who can be against you why wouldn't you work the plan of god knowing you're going to win did y'all get that why wouldn't you work the strategy of god knowing that he gonna grade on a curve just sign up for the class be strong and work you're gonna pass as long as you're working because grace is there for any error you make mercy is there for some mistakes but if you get out there in your work the plan of god if you get out and do what god told you to do you're gonna experience some good success he didn't say he had to be perfect he said just be strong and and work can't be afraid of hard work can't be afraid not a hard work anointed work because the blessing of the lord make it rich without toil god does the work inside of you but you got to give him something to work with man this is a good lesson i'm telling y'all i'm gonna go back and listen to this myself amen number one wisdom with the right motive to please god number two do what work the plan of god number three recognize that who's with you god god is on our side and i like to flip that around and say i'm on god's side i'm with him is that all right we close with this number four and this is not something i made up just because i think it's a neat idea but the bible said of isaac what did he do in that land he sold yes number four so listen to this continually in that land how do you do it continually continually you continue to scatter you so how continually in that land frequently right there in the land of family because where did he get blessed in the land where did god make room for in that lane are y'all getting this where were things working in that land is anybody getting this it wasn't working anywhere else it was working in that land which is a revelation on you being in the land where god put you do you all know i wouldn't be a successful pastor in virginia right now you know why because i'm not assigned to virginia right now i don't know what he'll do in the future but today i'm not supposed to be in virginia i'm supposed to be in charlotte north carolina so in the word to you in this land this is my job this is what god has called me to do in this season of my life you will be fruitful where though in that land does anybody get this amen that is your opportunity in famine that you would honor god that you would look forward to seeing the move of god and the hand of god in your life but all of those things come y'all because we constantly do what god says do all of those things come into fruition this is what i wanted to see proverbs 11 and 24 because we constantly do what god says do everybody say this with me never stop sowing amen never stop sowing come on never stop sowing never never stop sowing friendship love never stop something but right never stop sowing finances never stop honoring god with the best of you amen look at it there is one who scatters yet does what and what does he do don't he increases the more because he does what he scatters so what are you going to do when you got seed coming up in israel you got seed coming up in charlotte come on you guys see coming all over the place there is one who does what scatter yeah increases the more but there's one who withholds more than it is right and what happens to him it leads to poverty read the next verse and we'll close that's enough for today the liberal soul shall be made fat put it in the amplified the generous man is a source of blessing shall be what prosperous and enriched and he who waters will himself be what watered reaping how generosity that he has sown so isaac became rich and more rich and more prosperous and more favored david was a poor man he was a man that not only was poor financially but he was poor in lifestyle he was poor in his disposition and then he met god and on the other side of that he died rich well and blessed in favor with a strong family lineage because there's no sense in you having a ton of money and your family's out of control money is not the optimal thing no sense in you having all this other stuff and your home life doesn't exemplify the grace of god that's why i spend more time teaching discipleship messages than i do financial ones cause y'all finances will come but if you fix home if you fix you and you get in what matters come on raise your kids right that's why i don't just hoop it out on sundays most of the time no let's raise our kids let's honor our wives let's honor our husband let's do all that kind of stuff then everything else will be added unto us the opportunity y'all i'm closing is in shortage and can i ask kingdom people something please y'all this is just like i want to ask you this this is a sincere ass can you please be light at work when everybody else talk about we ain't gonna be able to get gas wednesday can you say something that brings hope girl i got gas last night can we be different this whole message wasn't about gas it's about shortage but can we be different can you use that as an opportunity to say girl you know what come with me to matthew 24. you got a minute the word of god said this would happen it said it said it it promised it there would be famines right why don't we be different and then if you need some gas won't you just go get gas pastor how are we going to get gas is not there i'm challenging you like jesus challenged phillip how phillip how these people going to eat feed them once you get up and feed these people four or five thousand people have no food and their their their their wives and children which means there were more so once you go out once you feed them phillip he failed to test because he started getting in logic never get in logic when you're walking by faith where we gonna get gas from i will have as much gas as i need to fulfill the mission of god i will not run out not at any point i will have gay i will be here thursday i will and it's up to you if you you know you want to conserve gas you know do what you got to do i and i'm not riding the bike either i would be in bible study on thursday night i would not and i got my wife has a bike i'm not riding her bike not riding her bike to church i will be in church on friday you get sweaty doing all of that no no no no i'm riding in the air condition i'm coming to church and i will teach bible study because i will get gas when i need gas when i need gas whatever gas station is closest to me will be oh my god the pipeline just came on you just drove all praise god they'll be taking the plastic off of the gas handles when i drive up if i need gas and until i need gas guess where i'm going home you know why because i'm not nervous and i don't need gas right we serve the ultimate supply church people not church people christians need to get out of logic oh pastor did the covet ever really scare you no i'm about last year i don't know what this was all about but when they ran out of toilet paper i don't know why folk wanted toilet paper if they couldn't live what you need all of that for and you won't be here um so i closed with this one more time but everybody flocked to get some toilet paper i said i'm not going out there getting on toilet paper i don't need toilet paper i will get toilet paper when i need it because that's when i need toilet paper so then it was time to restock on some toilet paper oh lord all the grocery stores are out of toilet paper oh my god they're out of here i told tomorrow i said dear i'll be right back i'm going up here and i'm not driving far either there's a harris teeter right up the street from my house i'm going to get some toilet paper you know when i got toilet paper when i decided to go get it are y'all getting it so i decided i wanted to go get toilet paper and that's when the truck drove up and unloaded a new stock a toilet paper i was the first one at that store to get my toilet paper what's the point pastor can we get kingdom minded no 50 of marriages end in divorce by year five not mine in fact i'm past year five mine didn't end in divorce because we're not going to allow our marriage to do what the world's marriages do these kids are unruly not mine no none of mine are going to be unruly only reason why i don't take a belt off is these pants don't have a belt these pants have tabs on it but you know right no mine no no but see some of you your kids hadn't got a spangle since 1965 and they're only 11. you figure that matrix out that means they never got a spanking you got a child that never right so then you didn't obey the bible you spared the rod and spoiled the child so now your child is spoiled that's your fault i church no they they they showed you something they showed you something yeah you in the last days baby it's wrapping up get off the earth get off this world i'm being so consumed by what this world is doing this and that oh thank god the movie theater is open again my movie theater stayed open i go to the movies every monday called bonus rooms theater rooms whatever you got in your house find joy in in the finer things in life family shutting stuff down that's where we are and you couldn't find a balance because people was losing their businesses but then they wanted to keep people safe and healthy and everything in between and then you couldn't figure out who was being scandalous and who had an agenda and who was doing right people got messed up lost everything the world is wicked so i want to condition you this morning if you're here today and this is so sincere and you know you need another anointing another layer for this culture the anointing for this shortage i want you to come down and we're going to do that as our corporate prayer and we're closing i'm going to open up the cafe but i need an anointing in this time come on down it's okay it's okay it's okay and this time this this world man is not getting better it won't get better minister to your families take your fam that that's why we have a family counseling center i love doing it too i love seeing these these you go but the lord hath what how those people find me because they needed somebody with my background and anointing that could get in that space it's the bottom line that's all it was that's all it was they don't have nothing to do with nothing else that's all it was that's all it is how the next opportunity gonna come same thing as long as you won't compromise as long as you won't compromise now when they wanted me to do the prayer at monday night football but leave the name of jesus out we don't go that far you all know i'm guys man right don't you get in high places and then forget who got you there get in high places and then now you don't know who got you there because when this is over guess who i'll still have yeah i still have god when this is a wrap i still have god loyalty many venues but god don't let us lose focus on the reality of the hour we're in and that is that you're soon to return that is that the world will get worse we know it i'm not prophesying it it's in scripture but father we want to thank you right now for undergirding and protecting us in keeping us in this world lord help us to catch on fire for the things of god in the name of jesus help us to allow the spirit of god to be our guiding force yup god we're going to pursue wisdom with the right motives not just for money but we know that you will bless us with money you will bless us with relationship you will bless us with a happy home in the name of jesus so father we thank you for it god fill us with the holy ghost so proud of you gabe fill us with the holy ghost in jesus name help us to be governed by you not to make any more of our own decisions in life because for the world is over nothing more has to be satisfied you said there'd be wars and rumors of wars we saw that with the riots last year we saw all kinds of people being mean on both sides we saw that evil evil abounding as scripture would say but god we thank you that your grace abounds even the more so we pour our hearts out to you and we pour our lives out as a drink offering before you we need you father can't live without you thank you for the change in turnaround in jesus name satan will tell you one time in the name of jesus take your hands off of our minds our kids our finances our health in jesus name father wake up our children that we're believing to get saved in jesus name i dispatch angels to will i miss much if i say these i probably won't miss much willa okay all right so we have the marriage retreat coming up all right whoo it's exciting it was like oh marriage no marriage retreat is coming up we're excited we're going to virginia this year register all right register be a part of that okay if you're able to go we want you to go it's going to be a strong strong blessing this year's theme is perfecting forgiveness amen and they will have a black tie event up there and that's going to be good and i'm telling you that hotel is nice ruth chris is right across the street and so you're gonna enjoy that man go up there and uh williamsburg virginia isn't far from there so y'all go ahead and register don't wait until uh uh uh uh next um year to register for this year's retreat uh go ahead and register the extended deadline it's friday may 21st so i think that's this week then we got camp kingdom all right for the uh members if you're a member you're interested in camp kingdom sister nicole who is with child by the way those of you who don't know she got a new baby coming that's uh that's attorney nicole too and don't let her fool you y'all she she's one of our church's lawyers and she might look mild manner but you get her in the right room she is no joke she be going off man that um that um what's perry may send anointings on her she can she know what she doing in in that space her and shantae and uh uh rayshawn they know what they doing we got a whole quorum attorneys over here know what they talking about all right so to go see her after this and if you are visiting and you don't mind going to a reception raise your hand sister pam rather is raising her hand and you can follow her amen keisha bring it up here come on we're doing a lot of stuff usually this is on video announcements i just don't want to hold people today because i've already gone along if you're visiting and you want to go to the back you're welcome to do that pam will stand right behind you there um yeah bring this to that nice lady with the precious children and just let her have a tumbler this morning that's so nice hey man amen y'all give them a hand we're so glad to case you want to go home i recommend you go up top to the cafe and get some food what's the menu today anybody know get some food and does anybody have my sanitation grade i've been having you stand up a long time they got it back there dear i didn't send it to you did i okay y'all you you you got it you don't have it i'll send it but the health department came last week and listen 99.5 99. you make 199 and our chef maria she was mad at that yeah she said no i wanted a hundred but i don't know many restaurants in this city that got a 99.5 so give our care ministry people and sister maria a thank you for every person that came today i pray that they were made to feel warm i pray that we were convicted where we needed that too and i ask you in jesus name not to be with us this week because you promise you do that but give us wisdom give us know-how give us power and ability god and help us to navigate this world god we know the world's not getting better but we do thank you for the opportunities that are coming our way we bless you we give you glory honor and praise in jesus name amen one last thing i want to congratulate all of our graduates all right y'all raised your hand
