let's honor our pastor this morning amen listen our pastor is going to be celebrating his 11th pastoral anniversary in just a few more weeks are you not grateful and thankful in this day for a pastor as such that we have amen amen i'm so grateful i mean he's such an awesome man of god one who hears from god one who who shepherds god's people so wonderfully so biblically he shepherds god's people so biblically and we certainly do honor him it is good to be in church amen amen i always say there's no other place that i would rather be than in the house of god at this time on the lord's day so i do greet each and every one of you i ask that you will prepare your hearts even now to hear the word of god did not the lord bless us during our eight o'clock service with that word amen amen amen and so we will prepare our hearts and minds amen for the word of god as the lord should give it to our pastor amen our youth are in youth church this morning amen and the glory is up there amen and we certainly do praise god for what he is going to be doing in the lives of our youth and listen our youth up there they're not it's not for them to be babysat amen we are partnering with our parents in the spiritual development of our youth and we certainly do praise god for for the fruit that should come out of our youth and children's church and what god is doing in the midst amen amen are you therapeutic i'm telling you after we got through singing oh give thanks to the lord number one that's the scripture so you can't sing the word without it having an effect because it's spiritual right so that's why we ought to sing word based songs and the praise team does that so that's actually a psalm that says oh give thanks unto the lord for he is good but when i got to the part y'all don't know about you when i got to that vamp of he is good yes he is good even now as i think about that i think of all the ways god's just been good to me and i'm gonna give you one you're ready for this church the fact little precursor on today's message that you're sitting closed and in your right mind an hour like this god's been good to us can we give him one more wave of worship all over the room thank you lord god we're so appreciative and we magnify your name hallelujah hallelujah holiday amen on a different breath i honor my sweet wife this morning i thank god so pretty so kind and i know this isn't an announcement but she talked about me celebrating an anniversary she has a day coming up before i do next week she will celebrate her birthday with a f she's coming up to her birthday and i mean a literal 18 year old looking 45 year old amen she don't look 45 uh at all amen i know y'all want to ask me is that my daughter no that's my wife i mean that's just how young looking she is i know it but she is he is blessed of god and and i asked you the other day i said dear what are you missing is there anything you're missing amen and you know what what's the resolution on that statement what do you give somebody that has everything you got it more pastor what are you gonna do next week i'm gonna give her more amen somebody give god praise because he gives us more is that not right blesses us over and over again thank god for the praise team they worked so hard you did good candice you sound good you used to sing more often you don't sing enough leads all right i'll make her sing some more that that note was out of my range i had to find somebody who could sing that and they sing good since the camera's up there and y'all the youth got it going on let me tell you something adults now look here if you see the videotape of their worship don't let them beat y'all now because in a minute adults gonna be like can i volunteer up there that's where the glory is they got it going on up there so bring your kids there having a blast in the name of the lord you may be seated i love you and not only are they having fun sister rogers was right they are learning the bible they start together in worship jeanette can i switch to this lapel please they start the day off in worship together and then how many know you can't teach high schoolers like you teach children amen so the high schoolers they're gonna break off into their own section and uh middle schoolers and the children all of them they will have their own nuggets and and teaching relevant for their age and stage and that's exciting for me my next phase of growth here and it's just going to keep on bringing folk in because it'll be a blessing to their whole family but i'm um i'm going to get me a nursery's going before long some folks i will really trust and i'm y'all know all of our youth folk got background checks man but beyond a background check how many know they got a holy ghost check like you got to have the holy ghost work we used here amen amen amen i i promise you i'd rather have you count the money than work with youth without the holy ghost all right because the devil just looks for vehicles to get in so everybody that i got up there are trusted people amen looking after your children and when i do a nursery it'll be the same i'm gonna make sure that we have people very trustworthy and filled with the spirit of god looking after your kids if you want them to be in a nursery uh during church amen things of that nature and and so what does that mean kcc share it with your friends share the church share what the resources are the programs okay i'm telling you they are filled to the brim in that room up there they they to the last row so in a minute they got to have their own building they won't you know or kick us out of here or whatever but they they got to have is that right and we all know we're building them one is that not right amen i believe in what they're doing and uh we're going to go all the way with that love and and i'm thanking god for that um big brother lord pastor randy he's a youth pastor at heart and he said it well too he said man uh you know i don't know what you have planned but that youth ministry you get them going oh boy you talk about blessing the body in addition to that church growth everything you need and then watch this how about just solid motives of people getting help before they fall off the cliff is that right did y'all know some things don't have to happen can i say something that's probably going to rub somebody the wrong way so i'll just use myself i don't want gabe junior to do everything i did that's my goal if i can catch my four before they make some of the decisions and i'm glad the blood of jesus cleansed me it brought me back but y'all i had to go through some rehabbing and i talked about drugs and alcohol i'd never been on drugs and alcohol but sin rehab god had to clean me up he had to get my mind right anybody else on that ship is that right jim god clear god had to clean me up man and it took some time it did it took a series of deliverances what i'ma preach to you today you you believe it or not it's gonna bless you but it's all a part of that series of deliverance that's gonna some of you gonna continue to walk through and you're gonna be rehabbed but these folk up top you know they so many of them are before the fall before college before a lot of stuff amen and if we can get our clinches in them early is that all right what if we marry off some more reggie's in carinas neither one of them were touched then is that all right what if we have more instances where kids are just right man okay so i want y'all to help me somebody say we're gonna help pastor are you gonna help me i want you to help me with youth ministry okay and i'm not gonna leave anybody out we're gonna keep doing adult ministry we're gonna do youth ministry i am ready to work you heard me say this in times past i'm saying it again now ain't no slowing down in me i'm working these days all right i'm doing a little briefings before we do our offering exhortation which is going to be good but i'm getting ready to do the hope group many people have had death of loved ones and things of that nature and i'm personally going to facilitate that group many of those weeks uh sometimes a couple of my staff may be here got a new clinician at the uh practice she is awesome well seasoned in age and in her approach as well so i'm gonna include her in on that and i'm include kristen in on that what are we doing we're ministering to people okay so i want you to take that hope group those of you who have had the death of a loved one especially in the last two years or so or you have something traumatic still right in you i want you to take those groups okay i want you to participate there is a nominal fee to it but you know the rule that kcc is money ever stopped us from letting somebody in i mean you don't have no money you you got a spot is that not right yeah that's that's that's why we subsidize people and why do we do those things because you know legitimate staff workers you know we want to take care of them we want to do those kinds of things when you go see a cpa is there not a cost of course and you see a legitimate licensed clinical person their cost to those things and so i'm going to do them right and things of that nature but i want you all to partake in these groups and how did i bridge that because i want to do ministry for youth and i want to do ministry for adults okay this is the last two days three days to the fast is over but don't shout about it good response what if you stay disciplined what if tuesday came and you were still on it i'm telling you y'all i'm not trying to offend anybody but in particular if i had some health stuff going on no you i go right into wednesday thursday friday and even if i add certain foods back they would be certain foods i wouldn't get on a bunch of sweets and breads and treats i would put a little grilled chicken on a salad because i aim to get to christmas and you're gonna see another version of me is that all right i see people waving their hand so why am i telling these stories because now we have weight loss therapy wow at the angel gabriel company and seriously and those people are in those points and they're getting behind the stuff because sometimes there's trauma that's making you emotionally eat the lady that's leading those sessions she is giving them weekly logs all right and weekly education and they have their individual therapy and then in a few weeks they will have a group that they branch off into and it's going to be so rich but it's confidential it's individual pastor what are you saying take advantage of the resources melvin i want to do ministry that's always been our vision i want to be a comprehensive church doing ministry for the whole family everybody can win in the kingdom is that not right so take advantage of it tell your friends and loved ones we got a children in youth service now you need to come tell somebody they offering some themes you know kcc is a very godly irregular church in that our emphasis on discipleship is like none other i've not seen any other church like it that has every element i've not seen it i'm not it is rich worship praise dance and shout but what do you do monday through friday right you need discipleship need somebody to keep chiseling away at that rock is that not right and so that's what we're doing before you know it people just go up up up i'm thinking about all the auxiliary ministries in this church i had dave and shayla in pre-marital counseling this week that's not confidential you could know about that isn't that rich and what are they doing they're going through the eight stages of premarital work there are eight stages god gave me up to nine even a pre-marital work all right then there are others who are in post-marriage counseling all the people you've seen get married over the last couple of years it didn't end that i do no they still come and they get in post-marriage work then we have family development plans and marriage development plans so you have nowhere where the devil can get in well don't let that just be for the young couples that just got married how about some of us married people sign up for some marriage development plans is that right with your dps and things of that nature so i'm telling those stories and my heart just went there as i saw the youth before i came out you know in between service i was eating a little oatmeal and pineapples and they told me man they said blueberries and they said they got it going on up there pastor i said man i got to go check them out so that's why i was a little late and when i went in near all my heart just to see your children being blessed well i want to see them be blessed but i want to see you be blessed is that not right everybody in the kingdom can win somebody say amen to that and speaking of winners i got to offer an exhortation and we're ahead of schedule uh i want to bring um sister rachel i didn't really ask her to be for service but i'm the pastor i learned that a long time ago and i don't i don't do a whole lot asking now i'll ask people if it's confidential i will ask you that but you know i don't really ask you if you want to talk if i want you to talk i just say come up here and talk okay and you say i don't really think that i'm the outspoken person well we got a 12-step program for that all right take 12 steps and come to the front and talk like i told you that's my 12-step program here at kcc do exactly what i asked you to do and and then everybody be happy including yours truly okay so i don't sense any rebellion on rachel i'm just making her laugh but rachel can you give me uh a two-minute cliff note on what the lord did for you and i mean i'm just mesmerized excited here come on say and get you on the camera just just give us two minutes on how the lord bless you financially and that'll be a part of our offer and exhortation well i was believing god for a work from home position in um in the middle of it in the middle of coveting sister carter one night after bible study told me to apply somewhere where she heard um hired from my position i'm a licensed practical nurse and it's been very difficult for lpns to get into this field because they usually want registered nurses so i didn't worry about it i prayed about it i was thinking to go back to school but as a single mom just like it's not the season to go back to full-time nursing school so um i applied i did great with the first interview degrade the second interview they gave me an offer i counter offered because pastor gabe had taught us a long time ago um if you know the range go for the highest point of the range do not accept it so i did that i went back and forth like i'm new to this field um the type of nursing that it was and but i said nope i'm going to move in faith i'm going to go ahead and put the counteroffer in came back um and now i'm making 24 000 more than i was making last year [Music] [Applause] i wouldn't have i wouldn't have labored like that you know i've really been before the lord just saying you know god you're a single mom's keeper you're able to do for me you want me to be here for a kid i struggle with you know possibly doing third shifts second shift just all that stuff but the lord was like no you got to be a good mom you got to take care of your kids just trust me and here i am today so my god rachel girl i'm so happy for you man everybody point your hands say i'm happy for you amen give god glory isn't that great [Music] now now now what is that how do you get into a healthcare profession without compromise work from home take care of your kids all right her kids are in private christian school all right she was she was i want to say she was struggling i think i don't know all of rachel's business but she was making it happen paying two kids tuition in private school all right and then the lord came and gave her leftovers and that's what i want to call the render my devotional this morning i want to call this leftovers the lord came and gave her leftovers can we walk through some of that gave her leftovers and uh and and the rest is history now i remember working in the public sector and one of the things that used to make me mad about raise time is after they gave me my review they'd be like and you've done so well over the last two years we have got to give you this two percent two i'm percent even gonna feel that anybody besides me been through that i'm not man two percent just donate that to the united way or something i don't even believe in the cause but give it to them two percent you y'all know them raises that just you didn't know it was on your check that was the kind of raise that used to get on my nerves you mean i don't earn this company how many more millions last year i know i did because i know what contracts i won for y'all and you talking about two percent that motivated me to be an entrepreneur it did that put fire under me because i said i'm not getting enough of the pie i'm winning a lot for this company but i'm not and i love them i honor them i respect all the people i was blessed to work for they were good to me don't take it the wrong way but two percent used to make me say oh nah like the the you know my sisters would say oh huh uh oh huh uh you know and so that used to be my response to that oh huh uh you know uh so but when you get 25 000 you can feel that is that right now i mean that that's that's right like 25 000 so there are usually 26 pay periods in a year those of you who get paid every two weeks usually 26 pay periods in a year and almost that's about a thousand dollars extra every pay period any besides buy beside me could use another g i'm using real estonical terms this morning i've already said oh huh on then i said a g another big one all right well what is that what rachel just taught us that's leftovers now who was in bible study three four weeks ago when we spoke promotion elevation and increase and we said it was coming even in the workplace y'all god is manifesting that stuff he wants to see you uh flourish in this hour because you are his poster children the world's gonna look at you and say how who and what for the obedient and because you obey god you're going to see god do some great things and then what's that what's the spin-off of that they're going to want your god they're going to want to be born again at the end of the day is for the kingdom of god 25 000 is not just for any other uh you know off color reason i can't think of the right word but rachel's going to be blessed god will have no problem with her going to the mall if she wants to hey man uh every so often or whatever her financial personal goals are she can do that but ultimately we are blessed to be a blessing blessing so let's look at leftovers to prove that point look at um first second kings chapter four this is your offering exhortation this morning everybody say god has some leftovers now i'm not going to go to every passage of leftovers in scripture because there are too many all right exodus 36 2-7 the people brought too much an offering can we have that same problem today yeah they brought more than what moses needed to build buildings amen so everybody say that was leftovers five thousand plus people wasn't just five thousand plus people jesus fed with two fish and five loaves bread and then had twelve baskets what left over he said gather up the fragments that there be none be lost which is really a word on stewardship and management so when i start making money i'm gonna know how to steward it oh to manage it just cause i start making money don't mean and this is not for rachel but don't mean that i gotta sign the new car contract monday morning is that not right because then you won't see your leftovers it's already spoken for right i had a good good man tell me one time and and it's true because years ago he said you know when you come into a lump sum for money put it up and just just just think about it for a couple of months don't touch it don't don't even know it's there is that right all right mine is paying your taxes just put it up right okay and before you know it you'll come into some good concepts and ideas of where your money should go amen and that's what we do with leftovers let's look at it in scripture and this is going to be a blessing the bible says um in second kings chapter four i really really love these stories uh in verse number 42 it says and there came a man from baal shalisha and brought the man of god bread of the first fruits 20 loaves of barley and full ears of corn and husk thereof and he said that is the man of god give unto the people that they may eat well we have a problem we don't have enough and so the servator said what should i set before a hundred men and the man of god said again give the people that they may eat for thus saith the lord they shall eat and shall what leave some thereof depending on your translation leave some left over god is a god of what well if you keep reading the story you will note that god multiplied the food just like he did in jesus time and not only did he meet the need but they had some left over all right so we got a pure motive like sister rachel and you want to come home and take care of your children keep your kids in private school and make good decisions god's not only going to meet that need he is going to substantiate you he's going to give you plenty more left over because after all that is the spoils of obedience of obeying god you obey god he never does just what you asked for is this blessing anybody he does some left over all right let's look at one more passage and that would have proved my point now these people just got through bringing heaps tons of goods and resources to hezekiah and and the priests and the levites uh and in verse number 10 i'm going to read out amplified this time jeanette of second chronicles 31 and 10. i want you to see that and read out an amplified i love this y'all bring your ipads but please keep bringing your page bibles i love hearing the sound of pages turn that's so that's just me i love it amen they'll put it on the screen but uh proverbs uh says put it in your eyes amen let your eyes look at it sometimes out of your bible bring your highlighter to church bring a green pen a blue pen a red pen and just mark your bible up as brother copeland says if you got a bible you can't write in frame that one and get another one amen but over in second chronicles 31 verse number 10 everybody say leftovers now azariah the high priest of the house of zodok answered him and said since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the lord we have had enough to eat with plenty left over for the lord has done what bless his people and this great quantity is left over now get the revelation of that text these are people bringing offerings into the house of the lord all right and as they're bringing offerings in the house of the lord god is constantly increasing them as the bible says the lord has done what to his people blessed his people so now everybody in kingdom christian church i mean in hezekiah's kingdom is getting raises bonuses new work from home jobs so they can wake up in the morning and drink a hot cup of coffee come on and sign in exactly at 8 30 without the commute with lunch times on their patio and some nice stir-fried vegetables and get back to work at about one sharp without the commute and everything in between only to sign off around 3 30 because they already finished their work and oh by the way you're already at home not bad huh has anybody who worked from home ever done this i got a confession to make i i have um a few offices i can work out of and on occasion when i see some of my clients from home i don't know if this is unprofessional or not but i will have a nice polo shirt on from here on up but they're on down i got on grey sweatpants and no shoes and my socks or feet are touching each other the whole session i'm really warm and empathic let's talk more about that anybody else got that confession i hope your bosses are not in church today all right i've done that on the cage i don't do it every time most of the time i get up and put khakis on dave and i get dressed but on occasion i i've i've been known to do that so i never stand up without first turning my camera off well hold on one second yikes dr gabe what can you come to work right amen but at least they're sweatpants okay all right but the incentives are working from home now i do go in my practice a good part of the week too but i'm just sharing that with you and of course when i'm working at church i am dressed for the record if you ever zoom in with me i have everything on okay usually it's something like this i never come to god's house that way i'm just talking about from my home office though i have had on sweatpants i don't know what that has to do with the offering exhortation but i just want y'all to know that and i guess it's because the incentives and blessings that come with increase right god's going to increase you and the people are so blessed and they keep giving and because they got raises bonuses and surplus they were able to build a grace house a youth building pay every monthly bill on time and there's a great quantity left over now here's the revelations philippians 1 and 7 we got to get out of this devotion 1-7 you're a partaker of the grace of whatever you're given to so now as you continue to make it happen for the house of god and the kingdom of god how y'all know that same grace is going to be substantiated on your own house leftovers at the church leftovers at home somebody shout about that reality it's as good as done can we give god glory for leftovers that's what 25 000 is it's beyond what you need so you can do more for the kingdom of god then i'm going to shake you up when i say this and then if you want to go to hawaii do that too uh-oh you're blessed to be a blessing he said i will bless you first though i'll bless you he said in second timothy 6 17 he said i'll give you all things what am i give it to you for to enjoy anybody in here moved into a new house this year anybody yeah i see you paying back there carter's are you all enjoying that house yeah i guess you just go to every room every day and say this is yeah this is the lord's doing right you're enjoying he gives you all things to enjoy if a car wasn't near to enjoy now i'm changing my exhortation a little bit but if the car wasn't there to enjoy why would he give you one like like i have that if i start swerving too much it'll recommend i get some coffee no it comes up on my dashboard i recommend get rest with a big coffee cup and smoke coming out of it now some people don't like that they think that's too much i think that's just something too god don't care if you got a car that talks or or are you following me one that you just crank up and go whatever your pleasure is what is god gonna give you he gonna give you something you enjoy amen i messed y'all up with that coffee didn't i i know it gets it it gets in your head a little bit no god is a god of prosperity he'll bless his people he'll smile on you baby if you like golf you know he's going to give you golf clubs because that's what you like now he's not going to give me golf clubs because i think it's a proverbial waste of time i i just i couldn't imagine sitting out on a hot green like that all day long not sweating to me we need to be running or doing something but the guys who like golf all day long because that's what they like and god's going to give you that to do what you're going to give you to enjoy whatever you enjoy can we believe for that can we break through religion today is that all right amen you want a loft he'll give you a loft to enjoy i don't want to live uptown i don't i don't that's too much nightlife for me amen y'all know what i'm talking about i wouldn't enjoy uptown loft but some of you you might want something like that the lord will do it he'll give it to you to enjoy i got a friend who's got a nice farmhouse on over 17 acres or something of land and i mean he back there in the forest with animals i'd never seen you know he told me about how one day one of what was it a hawk or some sort of bird swooped down and just grabbed one of his chickens and flew off with it i said man you must enjoy that kind of thing huh yeah i got a buddy of mine just like he has a bunch of goats when he gets ready to open up more his land he doesn't get farming tools and trucks to come knock it down he puts the goats in that patch and they eat up that area for him and they cleared the land well guess what he in enjoys that now to me that's going backwards god's been good we can drive stuff now we got chainsaws we got all kinds of stuff right but that brother he liked that kind of stuff that's that's up his alley so he should do what he enjoy well you can't scrutinize him for wearing his flannel right because his 17-acre piece of land costs a whole lot of money especially where he lives well then you can't scrutinize me for having a car that puts coffee on the dashboard because that's just something you enjoy i guess i beat that horse to death he don't have any lungs or heart left there ain't nobody mad but the devil i'm not getting on anybody's nerves that people who just not blessed nobody could say anything to what i just said except anybody in the room that either a not blessed or don't want to be blessed and if you don't want to be blessed there's a definition for that it's called stupid that my friend is stupid no i don't want all that stuff stupid stupid don't don't come telling me no no no no passing it but wait wait nope you missed it fred price said it so well he said how in the world are you going to minister to some people if you never come into and even if you don't want it for your own good there are multi-billionaire hedge fund managers they say warren buffett still stays in the same house he had 30 plus years ago he never moved into a huge house well he's not a huge house type of guy bill gates has a 40 000 square foot house everybody just got what they wanted well but guess what if you have warren buffett's money do you know how many billboards you can put on 85 reminding the world that jesus saves do you do you know how many christian broadcasts you could fund do you know how many orphans you could house so yes it would be quite stupid to not prosper because he gives you prosperity to expand the kingdom everybody in here that's believing to prosper let's shake it up right here come on stand to your feet we this is an anointed offer exhortation i'm gonna believe with you for leftovers rachel just got 25 000 everybody in here that's believing i don't care if you're a school teacher janitor god doesn't need your job your job is a resource god is your source come on lift your hands and believe you receive it now i put agreement on it father in the name of jesus as our offering exhortation today was so anointed we call forth leftovers in the name of jesus so we can fund the kingdom of god not so we can look a certain kind of way not so we could brag in front of people although people will see the the spin-off of the blessing it's not the blessing but it's the product of it and they will give you glory and they'll say how do i get there god bless your people so they can have leftovers angels go get our harvest bring it in in abundance in the name of jesus who knows god you'll give some of us an extra house so that we can help somebody who has nowhere to live you'll give some of us an extra car so we could we could do like pastor gave we could give a car away so we won't scrutinize bless people we'll just believe you for leftovers we believe we receive it and we call it in by face somebody say it out loud in the name of jesus i have an abundant supply i live in the margin of leftovers in the name of jesus i am making the most money i've ever made in my life i'm receiving the most favor that i've ever received in my life my life is going up up and up there are great doors opening for me right now in jesus name he is pouring out blessings that i do not have room enough to receive therefore i have leftovers i take it in jesus name give them great praise all over this flourish the blessings of the lord overtake me in all areas of my life are you believing i'm believing i am really believing i do this is my week of being overtaken in every area of my life you know i made a proclamation last week they're coming on to receive your offering i made a proclamation last week that the week we just came out of the week previous to that some of you may have heard me say it i was saying next week is going to be an amazing week it's going to be a week of tremendous abundance just favor and i'm telling you if thousands of dollars didn't pass through my hands just the favor of god he's real church make your proclamations believe it if not my hands personally hands in other areas blessing the ministry you name it god is just doing what he promised all right he is honoring his word okay so speak into your weak speaking to your day and know that you're receiving abundance in your life amen we're gonna pick up speed and um and and get ready to flow into the next segment you'll note that our children right around 12-ish little after they will come and they will they will sit in a section that was in the email so know that that's how they're handling that they will sit in a section of the church and they'll group with you after service because they'll come down during preaching and the youth team is going to try to do their best to not be disruptive of the down there in texas god is is so amazing uh one of his members unbeknownst to him uh decided to take the shot because again people have prerogative is that right and then you can do and you're in this church you can do and you can you can make those decisions okay but this this person elected to take one and i want to show you the pictures uh two or three of them i just want the still shots you'd have to go to his website and really listen to the whole thing but if i could help one person that's exactly what i aim to do and y'all can you listen to me with non-offensive ears did i say you could after she took the first of two shots and she went public with it and when she went back to her doctor he had no good reason all right and he has since changed his mind about the vaccine saying that it is indeed harmful to people and this this this report that i got he has since changed his philosophical viewpoints on this stuff folk taking stuff they uninformed about if you want to take something after you know what's in it praise god but what about when the news and everybody else ain't telling you what's in it and you could talk about the medical people who got knowledge and insight that was the same thing they said during the times of margaret singer they know what they're doing it's a doctor saying this but y'all there are globes of anointed spirit-filled doctors saying don't take it but they don't get the press because wicked people own the news stations and the channels and outlets and i'm not going to come off roaring and biting when i talk about this i'm about to preach the gospel in a minute but i'm a shepherd amen now y'all was shouting with me when i talked about leftovers i mean i don't know ain't no sense of having leftovers if you're not here to spend it that's what i say so let's look at a few of her pictures she's a nurse herself she was greatly disappointed this is a member of his church look at the spoon literally magnetic to her shoulder sits on her shoulder in the region where she took the shot it sat on her shoulder for 15 minutes in the region where she took the shot y'all got one or two more if you don't that's enough to prove my point time furthermore in many cases my opinion everybody says his opinion there's a diabolical agenda attached to it that's how i feel and i'm not taking it back i think so much of it is poison and a needle that's what i think and we've seen people just flip over and die and it's amazing to me just how much folk would just continuously go with this stuff and then you know it's wicked when you got to be vaccinated to get in the church bishop paul morton has since decided that no one can come to his church unless they have been vaccinated and this is the same bishop that put a post out this week y'all got that tweet i want people to know this is public knowledge i'm not saying stuff to you that that i'm just making up and see these are the gatekeepers in our community these are the ones that where they go everybody goes look what bishop morton just said about texas he said texas texas shame on you you have a zeal not according to knowledge so you have established your own unrighteous law to force a woman to have a baby from incest having father or uncle's baby etc or raped by demonic activity this is so ungodly you need to repent in other words his position is the people who have gotten pregnant in unwanted situations should be able to get an abortion if they want to that's what the bishop said y'all abortion is never right under no circumstance is abortion right never did you hear me say no no no no never never right and that's no knock on people who have had them that's what the blood of jesus is for that's what counseling centers like what we have are for that's what grace houses are for to help people get back on their feet and whatever the case may be but please don't come blowing this smoke at me talking about uh texas which made a law to protect the unborn is unrighteous these are our gatekeepers these are these are the people in in your community same bishop that said if you don't have a vaccine don't come to church if you're sick don't come to church since when ken is sick i'm not talking about with covet we got common sense we do temperatures at the door but i'm talking about just you got pre-existing conditions you can't go to church please stay home for good after all you're diabetic you're whatever can't ever come back to church these men are going to give an account i'm telling you that's where the world has come to that's where the world has come to and don't you let no man anywhere i don't care who they are respectfully president of the united states i don't care who they are where they are nobody governs what goes in your body are you listening to me nobody governs that nobody that's a decision amen and this is a profound uh moment in the kingdom i feel like this is so timely um anybody need one more song or something like that offend although your word does offend sometime but that's not how i'm launching out into this teaching lord i just want to see somebody get what they need i want to teach your word be a blessing to your people so stand up in me and get the glory out of everything that i say in jesus name amen amen let's go to mark chapter 10. we've been talking about um mind and thought management is that not right and last week we left off on a lesson called the right mind and i told you last week that if you could have a right mind what else can you have a wrong mind i could tell y'all are with me can i say something parenthetically did you guys know that i love you you know that yeah i mean that i mean that dominique kiva crystal y'all know that everybody in the church know that you know i don't have nothing else in it but to see you in it i'm gonna make that into a t-shirt one that only i can wear that's a pastoral church i'm gonna wear it when i gotta do some hard counseling sessions with y'all it's gonna say i got nothing else in it but to see you in it amen just in case you don't feel like listening that day i got nothing else in it but to see you in it amen that's all i got and then you make the call is that right all right let's get into today's lesson though mark chapter 5 verse 15 all right and if you can have a right mind you can have what kind of mind a wrong mind very important all right so over in mark chapter 15 verse mark chapter 5 i apologize church verse number 15. the bible says it it says then they came to jesus and saw the one who had been demon possessed and had the legion what's going on here the disciples are coming to jesus and they see this boy is now healthy guys he's now doing better and they saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion in him and the legion is simply a group of demons all right legion hundreds of demons okay and they saw this man he had the legion but now he was sitting and clothed and in his right mind will you say that with me sitting in your right mind say it one more time church sitting clothed and in your right mind today i want to talk from the thought overcoming trauma i want to deal with overcoming trauma because the greatest blessing and i just sent so much agreement in this room thank you lord the greatest blessing that a believer can come into is that revelation that i am sitting i'm clothed and i'm in my right mind if you don't think a right mind is priceless look at the people around you today who have a wrong mind if you don't think a right mind is priceless you know the bible says men's heart would fail them because of fear well if their heart could fill them because of fear you know their mind would fail them because of fear look at the people who have been gripped by fear who who who who cannot not only go out and and face the day in the spirit of knowing that they're safe in god but they've also been skewed by every message of this culture and if i could be honest with you i'm coming out swinging right at the forefront the way that some of these people have messed people up is so sad because those same people now on the back end we don't hear nothing about black lives matter was in the news jacking folk up had you angry about stuff you didn't know nothing about angry about stuff that only the news wanted to put on the news talked about white police officers killing black people but never talked about how in chicago 80 to 90 percent of the murders and deaths in the black community is black on black crime i would i just wish i wish black lives matter would have went to new york where black people are in birth decline due to abortion and done a special right outside of the margaret singer clinic that i went to yours truly went to that clinic to do ministry and a lady who had been nine months pregnant when we got there nine months pregnant i'm talking about full grown human life went in that clinic and killed her baby i just really wish black lives matter would have done special about that and so the witchcraft of all of that the witchcraft of messaging to to hear respectfully a president say i will never require vaccinations uh prior to his election only to come back and say now i want everybody in said organizations 100 and up and whatever else federal organizations i want all of these people to be vaccinated yo that is what i have coined cultural trauma constant messaging messing with your mind constant information coming at you one day is this one day is that one day i should be on board with with a black lives matter that is trying to help our people and then when all the people get in office that they push i don't hear none of them talking about how much black lives matter i see no more initiatives now for the record i never supported black lives matter i preached against it because it was witchcraft organizations started by lesbians witchcraft but to see the people now in office that they amongst others put in place to help and our communities are no better that's got to break your heart everybody say trauma yeah trauma so there's trauma there's trauma of all types there there is trauma of the first level that is when something happens to you i'm a minister to you today if you stay with me the molestation is trauma god forbid the rape is trauma it may be in the room i want to preach it with care the divorce is trauma guys because when you have a divorce it's not only that you had a divorce and that you are now quote unquote missing the spouse you once loved the one you once said i do to the one you once appreciated but it is also the loss of an identity you see i'm no longer married now i'm in a different category everybody say trauma trauma so all of these things go on and and all of these things if you're not careful will mess with the three key constants in mark chapter 5 verse number 15 and that is that they were sitting clothed and in their right mind there are some things that threaten that and for those of you in this room that would say i've never been through any trauma i've never experienced any trauma well the most recent data says that at least that 70 percent of people will have excuse me at least one trauma in their lifetime one significant trauma traumatic event will happen in a lifetime of at least 70 of everybody undoubtedly in this room because there are enough people in here to be indicative of a sample of the whole nation in this room right now there are people like yours truly who at a point in your life had some sort of trauma trauma pastor we when you define trauma what is trauma can i walk and teach are y'all in here what what is trauma trauma what what what is it all about what is what is trauma how does trauma come into fruition well trauma is a shocking and dangerous event that you see or that happens to you if it's one you see we call it secondary trauma but it's a shocking and dangerous event thank you team that you see or that happens to you this message is so timely and it's just the timing of god even on the anniversary of september 11th today is september 12th yesterday was september 11th and and i bet everybody in here of age like yours truly can still remember where you were when you saw the smoke coming from those buildings it's a 20-year anniversary and i was in graduate school and i never forget one of my clinical professors came in interrupted the class for all of the clinicians ironically learning how to be psychotherapists and and so timely to be getting in my profession and they put it on the big screen there at university of north carolina at charlotte and we watch as those planes come tumbling down like a superhero movie and just to ingest that that was going on somewhere in the same nation by which you live i mean just having had seen those towers personally being from connecticut and on any given day driving over that bridge in new york and looking to your right and you can see the statue of liberty but you could always see the trade towers on your way into the city but the trauma of knowing that when you go up there again they won't be there the families who had the names of their loved ones on a memorial by which was so honorably celebrated this weekend and my heart goes out to to the 3 000 people uh not only who died but the groves of thousands who were affected because of their death but y'all that is a classic example of trauma and of greater proportion almost today to look at a half a million people plus over the last two years that died of a almost merciless disease and to reconcile what does that mean to you what should you do what should you not do to wear a mask to not wear a mask to vaccinate to not vaccinate to stay at home to go outside to shake hands to not shake hands to stay six feet away to hug what should i do if you're not careful those things can become traumatic and that's what i want to minister to you today it's a shocking or dangerous event that you see or that happens to you i don't want you to say trauma too much because you don't need it for prophetic creation but the biblical word for trauma is this word known as reproach i want you to go over to psalms 69 and 20 this word reproach and most of us in this room we fought all of our life to stay out of reproach you fought out of life to stay all your life to stay out of reproach even when you don't know it you did something this morning to stay out of reproach by default what was it pastor you put clothes on after all going outside naked would have brought reproach right it would have been embarrassing it would have brought shame so by default you put clothes on and let's talk dignity 101 or image as i preached it over the last three months uh hey man you you you not only ladies put clothes on but you're prettied up with makeup you got your hair nicely done brothers you left the barbershop and if this is not your week you're going next week because at the end of the day most of us like to stay out of reproach and what is reproach that this word in the hebrew literally means disgrace or shame disgrace or shame i think it was the great keith moore that said it this way he said never say i'm ashamed to be shamed is a demonic word is the word that the enemy puts on people he wants to shame you why when people go to have abortions do people have umbrellas to hide them on their way in or the parking lot is on the side or backside of the clinic pulling up rain jackets over their face so they don't have to face the shame are you all in here the disgrace this chain right and the bible gives it to you the bible says reproach has broken my heart well what is this concept of reproach breaking your heart it is trauma that breaks your soul it is trauma that breaks your thinking capacity it is shock it is hardship reproach has broken my heart not only has it broken my feelings it has broken my inward man it is broken the way i think about certain things a person who has really been traumatized oh my god please don't let them have seen an accident at this same intersection because every time you get to this intersection that mind that has been broken by the last accident you have will send shock waves through your body reproach the shame of being back-ended or t-boned reproach reproach the shame of having been and not one two three four five ten relationships and none of them worked out the reproach the broken heart and he says as a result of this reproach my heart is broken and i'm full of heaviness anybody ever been there full of heaviness it's the exact opposite of being full of joy the bible says that your joy might be full but this passage flips it in a whole nother direction he says i'm full of heaviness i'm downtrodden i look for someone to take pity don't forget that that'll be in our points because we need community i look for somebody to support me i look for somebody to walk with me through this but there was none indicative of there's nobody who really gets where i am nobody who can understand it and for comforters but i found none what is it that makes a superstar designer kill themselves or a world-class comedian hundreds of movies and millions of dollars kill himself well what what makes people do that it is the inability to find comfort which ultimately links back to the first word of psalm 69 and 20 and that is saints reproach trauma trauma you know this is so amazing as i'm teaching to you the adults and our youth are up top having youth ministry it's amazing the dynamics of ministry if you really study it out you know we got six and seven and eight year olds and 14 year olds up there that were catching before the reproach and then generally speaking we got 30 and 20 and 40 and 50 and 60 and 70 year olds that we are working with down here to get the reproach off of you the prehab group and the rehab group and it's okay i don't want you to feel bad about that today because that's what the blood of jesus is for hallelujah that's what redemption is for that that's what that's what the word diana is for o.j the word is to remove the reproach but guys at a certain point we got to be able to acknowledge what's going on we got to be able to acknowledge the reality of all that is happening that is causing trauma like it or not you all know textbook dsm 5101 there is post-traumatic stress disorder everybody knows about ptsd you went war and a bomb went off and never forget a guy i had in my office he was uh ptsd and he was working through some things in his therapy and uh on this given day because my office is near the airport uh there was a plane that flew over my office it says now i heard a plane but he heard a bomb my auditory processing system simply said ah that's probably u.s airways american airlines delta getting people back to billy graham airport but mid-sentence in his talk he had to stop he froze he all but got on the ground because he was a legitimate vet that had killed people and had people who almost killed him so that meant something totally different to him than it meant to me because he had been traumatized by his experiences and i know i'm ministering to people this morning because i know you're in here god wants to bring you out of that he wants to bring you out of the reproach he wants to bring you out of ptsd textbook into what is known as post-traumatic growth that is i went through it but i left it right where it was is that not good news far be it that i talk the rest of my life about stuff that didn't work out stuff that didn't go my way stuff that almost messed me up because the truth this way is the fact that god brought me out of it that means he still has a promise for my life god kept me alive in it that means he still has something left for me to do god help me to overcome it that means that the storybook of my life is not over and i will no longer reflect on what happened to me i'm gonna reflect on what's gonna happen to me somebody shout about that reality and that's the good things in my life post-traumatic truth which comes from resilience are y'all with me but reproach has broken my heart and this is so good y'all because it's laced throughout scripture even as god was talking about the restoration of jerusalem and jerusalem's glorious future you would note that that even the women in the text i want you guys to see this over in uh isaiah chapter 4 verse number one and ironically this is a text written in celebration so we'll we'll study it out later on and re-teach it to you in some new ways but man if you're a single sister uh and you're 30 and 40 you have had to outlive reproach and particularly a single black sister because of the reproach of our culture when a greater percentage of inmates are black men but we're only 12 of the population and if our inmates are not black men the greater percentage in some cases not every case of homosexual men at least the ones you see happen to be black men and if they're not homosexual they not only want you but they want your cousin and your neighbor at the same time so they're perverted womanizers so if you're a single black sister and i sense the anointing on this you have had to outlive reproach you've had to overcome it every day you've had to work through the trauma of what hasn't occurred yet in your life and is there anything left is there any man out there that doesn't want to carry a man bag you do whatever you want but unless it's a binder for my notebook or or a wallet louis vuitton is not for me that brown and gold at best is for her if that's what she wants no man bags for me all of my bags hurt my thighs amen all of them all of my bags lean heavy on my shoulder i don't have no bag the size of my ipad and you should this is not meeting regulation for a man if you got a bag like this give it to your wife and get you something bigger and brawny and scratch it up before you start wearing it [Applause] don't even wear nothing too soft scratch it up don't put no leather lotion on it scratch it you're a boy are you listening to me but our single sisters have had to live through that reproach look at that and in that day seven women will take hold of one man they'll be so willing to compromise i'll do anything just to say i got a date seven women will take hold of one man saying we will eat our own food and wear our own apparel only let us be called by your name to take away our approach if you're not careful you'll go to great lengths to remove your approach if only for one night and the world gives you songs like that on purpose if only for one night if just for a moment i could feel like somebody loves me just for a moment i can feel like somebody cares about me you don't have to be long-term and by the way i'll buy you a couple of bottles of cologne i'll do whatever i have to just to keep you around trucker as you drive through once a month just be mine on thursday and friday i know you got a wife on saturday and sunday seven women will take hold of one man to remove their reproach i hope i'm not doing too bad on a sunday morning and ironically this is a passage of celebration that this has so much to do with jerusalem's glorious future but just the ideal y'all of seven women having to lean on one man and when i think about my black sisters in particularly pretty well made law degrees master's degrees realtors you name it oh not one house some of them going on the two but the reproach of our culture the non-committal man are you with me the dad that won't take care of what he laid down to hatch has put reproach on our people i hope i'm doing okay but the good news dave is is god wants to remove the reproach can you already in isaiah let's not turn to too many passages but go to isaiah 25 and 8. god wants to reproach off of you he wants you to be done with the reproach he wants you to be finished with the traumas of your life oh god to to to have a a wife that won't do right will cause reproach to have a husband that won't do right will cause reproach nothing like being a well-made family everybody is successful you got three kids two of them have gone off to college and are doing well but there's that one child even though you brought them up in private school you gave them the best of the best you never mistreated them but that one child that just won't do right how y'all know that's a reproach and that's what the devil wants to do he wants to put shame and disgrace on us some of you who are coming back to god today and what what a right message for you to show up on god wants to remove your approach even the mistakes that you made the bad decisions you made everybody say i did that proverbs 26 don't turn there says it this way it says the curse does not come without cause i caused that but even in your bad decisions if you'll turn back to god he will remove the reproach the bible says it so well it says he will swallow up death forever the lord god will wipe away the tears from every face and look at this what is another word for reproach disgrace he will remove the disgrace from his people from the whole earth the lord has spoken isn't that good news god says i want to take it off of you god says i no longer want you to live out the divorce that happened 17 years ago god says i no longer want you to live out the fact because some of these things are factual the fact that dad never made time to be with you and in so many cases he made time to be with his other family but he never made time to be with you god says i want to remove that he says i want to wipe away all those tears all the stuff that happened to you if you hadn't figured it out today's message is actually good news church because whatever your reproach is whether you get excited about this or not god says today i want to remove it i want to take it off of you everything you did or didn't do every mishap every mess up if you'll repent and you'll come running back to me [Applause] how long do you want to get rid of it god for ever is anybody here besides me you'd like to be relieved of some stuff forever like it'd be good if some of this stuff going on in this culture went away forever although i know end times it's not going to hit it's here y'all if it's not this then i tell you that though did i tell you prophetic if it wasn't covet it was going to be something else then delta came y'all remember that i told you that months ago if it wasn't this it was gonna be something else those of you who think you can get a shot and be secured now it's a shot plus a pill and a reminder that it's something you're gonna have to do every year the progression is that not right so you do whatever you want with that but i'm talking about god right now you take whatever you want to take at any point in your life not a medical doctor i don't practice medicine i just want you to understand though in the kingdom of god if you do it god's way he will swallow up death for ever he will remove the reproach he's going to wipe away every tear from our faces for ever the reproach or the rebuke of his people he will take away from all the earth the lord has spoken it somebody shout about that reality in your life because there are some things you're not gonna have to deal with ever again if you'll take it by faith somebody believe that you receive it and give god glory because he's removing the reproach thank you lord i'm so glad that i don't have to live out my college years another day in my life i'm so glad about that i'm so glad that there's some things at other seasons of my life i never have to face again i never have to contend with it again it is officially over man that's good news man someone said i i i used to be an alcoholic that's right it used to be but that season is because god breaks the reproach god guys he swallows up death he swallows up everything that brings you to death and he does that for ever now some traumas church come from childhood some things that you're dealing with come from things that you had nothing to do with you're not far from there if you're still in our text but maybe in isaiah but over in in mark chapter 9 i want you to see this just for a second in mark chapter 9 it's important to get this revelation because some things you know they were ingrown in you some some things happen beyond your ability that's why god takes so serious the protection of a child he says whoever would harm one of these ones it's better that they put them put a milestone around their neck and be thrown in the water right because children don't get to decide children don't get to to figure out their own life they are so subjugated to their parents decisions and as i do my rehab class today some of you in the rehab section of the kingdom you are simply a product of a dad that didn't do his job you're simply a product of a mom that was too harsh you're simply a product amen of unprotective systems that trusted people that should not have been trusted and one of the things that trauma seeks to do from childhood on up is it seeks to take away your voice look at it over in mark chapter 9 verse number 17 i'm in the amplified the bible says and one of the crowd replied to him teacher i brought you my son possessed with a spirit which makes him unable to speak anybody here ever been so traumatized don't lift your hand that you didn't have words trauma seeks to you take away your voice you haven't seen a traumatized person until you've seen somebody and i don't get too clinical that is all but in need of electro therapy electroshock therapy that's when we bring somebody back to themselves usually done in psychiatric institutions and it's literally shock therapy electoral therapy but in so many cases they are so scrambled and shocked in their mind that making sense out of that which is normal is beyond their perception is beyond their process and that's how the devil wants you to live life he wants you to live so shocked so broken about something that happened to you that you can't even talk you can't even make sense you can't even speak you can't even work through the things that's going on in your life that's how the enemy works and somebody would say man pastor what does that have to do with children and child verse number 21 and he asked his father jesus asked his father how long has this been happening to him and he answered since childhood and i'm telling you guys particularly as i minister to my people and it's in white people it's in hispanic people too but particularly as i minister to my people who in many cases our families are laced with secrets and implications come on you get to a funeral and he had a wife named sarah and a special friend named margaret by which he knew for 15 years and you figuring out whose child is who sitting on the first three rows these things come from child i've watched some of the manuscripts and stories of of aretha franklin and some of the things that she contended with in her life and and i forgot which actor it was or music artist it was maybe ray charles or somebody that said something uh that really compared her dad's lifestyle to one worse than what they were doing when your father is a gospel preacher on sunday morning but having orgies monday through friday oh that'll jack you up that'll make you want to sing for the world instead all kinds of rumors or who really parented some of their children right but all of this happens from childhood michael jackson and the jackson 5 didn't become who they were because they had a warm and empathic home if you know anything about their father the rigor and the harshness and watch michael over his lifespan until 50 when he died he had identity issues all his life aretha franklin had mood regulation issues all her life i could go on and on and many of you know me and some of them were your favorite songs when you were out there in the world and you would know other artists that i could call out but all of this y'all from childhood trauma [Applause] that set in and that caused what should have been alive praising worship leaders whitney houston aretha and michael and so many others leading worship in somebody's church grooming somebody's emotions and souls out of the dung heap of the devil turned into six feet under premature all because of trauma from childhood but god wants to remove all of that he wants to take it off of you he wants to move you into a whole new season he wants to give you your speech back you could be so traumatized by a relationship with a man that if you're not careful in a minute you start making sense out of shacking and you just you i mean y'all just ride together like your family what is that though that's reproach but if i could get that reproach off of me and at least look like i got a husband if i can at least look like i got a wife and that's why you believers you need to stop all that traveling with shocking couples folks who ain't married got the same rights you got they staying in the same beach house as you making up their bed the next day after they done did the same thing you did in righteousness and they did it in total unholiness is our witness i could say a lot of things but i won't go into every detail but no the baby shower is for two married people that had their baby right that's who should get the show of a baby shower that does not mean you don't help a young lady that kept her baby so that she doesn't go to the abortion clinic this church does that you give her diapers you give her pacifiers you do all that kind of stuff but you don't put her name on a cake and celebrate the sinful act that got the baby here to begin with y'all don't like my talk but i'mma say it anyway i'm still gonna preach it you don't have to like no no you give her 500 worth of groceries and resources but you don't finish the women's enrichment sunday off with a shower for sister lisa who was in sexual sense we talk about abortion ministry and all that kind of good stuff can we start getting people before the fall can we stop validating stuff that god's not validating because the more you validate it that just means a part two and a part three you give one shower you're gonna give a second one y'all don't like that grandmama's you keep keeping those babies uh oh now it's getting good you keep on keeping your daughter's babies and letting them go out on date night they gonna bring you another package home no let them stay home no you can't go to college this semester stay home and take care of your baby as my dad used to say you laid down to heaven that's good take care of him that's not mean that's right let's stop the curse that's right because something is causing you to repeat anyway and it's trauma it is that you devalue yourself you don't think you're enough for a man and in the devil's strategic oh boy single motherhood became a reproach oh god a woman who already has a baby oh y'all know that's true culturally it became a repro so what does that tell that young lady there's no hope for me and that's not true cause if she lets the blood of jesus intervene and gets her act together and lives right in due right come on there's some man are coming that's going to say now look here i may or may not have any kids but i made some mistakes too but i love you and i'll treat your son just like he's my oh y'all don't like that i'll be a good dad oh come on reproach reproach is so powerful during the times of elijah and the prophet y'all remember the widows it was a reproach to be a widow to have no man to have nothing there and that's what the world did to our families the world took us out the way but i do like this text because notice jesus was not talking to his mother you only get that tuesday night at 6. the bible said jesus said to his father and ladies don't you feel bad about that those of you who have children and the dad's not doing what he's supposed to do let me get on the mend for a little bit can god talk to you about your kids do you have daughters and sons that don't know where you are that are living out the reproach of no dad well they won't talk to me pastor well that don't stop you from sending them a card i tell you what send them a card with a hundred dollars in it and see if they catch that check i've had people who won't talk to me but they accept my cash app on special holidays that's interesting ain't it can't get them on the phone but the cash app do not be declined that's a true story too yes no they accept that cash app they won't respond to no calls no text messages but on their birthday happy birthday love you i never get a sh back the p stays out there y'all know that cash up sound i never get a sh it never happens so you must love me enough something's left so dad they love you enough send them a hundred dollar check and if they won't cash that cash that ever then you have my permission to send them another hundred dollar check then send them one more and after you've sent them a total of three hundred and twenty dollars if they don't cash none of that then you can stop talking to them but they're going to cash it because you are still in your love walk you're still doing what god told you to do do y'all like what i'm teaching this morning everybody's saying no more trauma so i want to give you the remedy for trauma i want to help you let me get back on track i want to help you guys as i hurry to my clothes with five quick points on how to overcome trauma can we go to second samuel and i believe this is going to be my last scripture second samuel chapter 12 verse 22-24 come on be good dads be good moms come on i'm talking to my rehab group let me do my part let me overcome trauma let me not run from church i'm going to give you a great remedy join the church today i mean you visiting and you've lived a life of trauma don't just make this a neat sunday that you came when we do the call come on down and get out of some trauma for the rest of your life is that not right be world overcomers and let's look at that now david went through some trauma with this child so good and i'm gonna give you five points david said while the child was still alive he was fighting for about seven days for god to sustain his baby that was born this was a baby that he had out of a mistake out of a mishap he shouldn't have got with bathsheba to begin with somebody say amen he took somebody else's wife some i say amen and that was traumatic well they had a child together but listen what david said look at how he got over his traumas he said now while the child was still alive because the baby is dead now i fasted and i wept for i thought who knows maybe the lord will be gracious to me and the child may live everybody say maybe but obviously in david's story the child was dead the next verse says that verse 24 3 but now he is dead why should i fast why is that question important ross why should i continue to mourn why should i continue to tunnel through what happened to me my sister my brother my mom my uncle why should i continue fasting what's symbolic of mourning so why should i continue to fast over the thing that i can't do a thing about today why should i continue to relive to recount to retail to re-go over that same theme over and over again why should i fast can i bring him back again can i go back to my college days can i go back to my high school days can i go back to my child days when some trauma happened that was not even your fault why should i go 2021 and this holiday season be jacked up one more year over a divorce that happened that i had no control over why and can i say something even about the stuff we had control over even if i had control over it and really blew it if i honored god and i repented of it the bible says he is faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me of what all unrighteousness so why should i continue to live our unrighteousness that's what trauma is it's the reproach of unrighteousness that soldier i told you about why was he still uh in in overseas or iran or wherever he fought that war why was he still there and i've i've talked to hundreds of guys like that in my career but why was he still there because the the rehearsing the trauma the constantly reviewing of something i could have done differently should have thought about this thought about that and sometimes that really is the case but why should i on the back end of that continue to go over that over and over again can i bring it back again david says no i shall go to him but he shall not return to me revelation on his text where was his son in heaven you ready for prophetic and spiritual revelation david was literally saying i'm gonna start living like i'm in heaven i'm gonna go to him some people think this is just about death and dying uh-uh deuteronomy says your days shall be like days of heaven on earth he said i'm not living like i'm in hell anymore he said i'm not living like i'm in the dung heap anymore he said i'm not living like i'm in the reproach of my college years anymore he can't come to me but i'm going to him i'm going to live and i'm going back to being the king i'm going back to four square meals a day i'm going back to being a man of god you read david's storyline bathsheba wasn't even the end for him he kept on going he kept on winning kept on building is that not right he said i can't go to him he can't come to me i'm gonna have to go to him i'm gonna have to get up where he is he's doing fine he's not sick anymore so why should i still be sick in my mind oh hallelujah oh somebody shout hallelujah he's not suffering anymore it was horrible what happened to mama but she can't come to me i'm going to her not when i die i'm going right now hallelujah i'm going to live heaven on earth somebody shout glory i don't know if that's blessing you like it's blessing me but i'm getting rid of some trauma right now i will no longer live beneath my privileges i will no longer figure out whether or not god loves me thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth just like it is in heaven for everything you ever did wrong in your life i want you to shout so what so so what the blood of jesus has made so what does that mean today so what yeah but the blood of jesus so what it happened but the blood of jesus so what devil so what i'm going to catch it cast it down and i'm going to consume it and i'm going to think of thoughts of a good report can't do nothing about that double jeopardy means to serve your time twice shame on you if you go back to prison again for the same crime when you serve your time you come out with your head hung high i did it it was wrong i'm out and i thank god i'm beyond reproach amen then we just don't do it again and i love this and i want you to camp out in this text and let me give you five quick points and then we're going to finish out with verse number 24 and i'm gonna let you go all right don't go to verse number 24 yet because then you'll mess up my end game y'all know we got a wonderful capstone right yeah just just stay right there and samuel but let me give you three things some of these are spiritual and yet clinical that's going to help you legitimately overcome trauma in your life number one if you want to overcome trauma tell your story in an environment to someone spiritually mature and they should be more mature than you give me scripture pastor you look these up i'm just going to mutter them out of my heart confess your faults one to another so you can be what healed where does the healing come in the confession write this in your notes please the healing is in the confession see some of you got the monkey on your chest and your shoulder because you've never told your story but you got to tell your story to somebody of a more mature spiritual nature you got to lay it all out you got to put it all out there hey i never shared this with anybody but i need to tell you do it with a confidential spiritual person ideally at this church that's going to be between your pastor one of your discipleship partners or our counseling center something like that but you get with somebody spiritually mature that's discreet and confidential i need to tell you that in my life i had three abortions i had this happen i had that happen never shared that with anybody and why is that so crucial because that's what the enemy is tormenting you with because you need the affirmation of somebody that can restore you bible says if you find your brother or sister in a fault those are you who are what spiritual i'm so glad i got bible knowers in here those of you who are what spiritual should do what restore them how in the spirit of humility spirit of humility as early as last night my wife won't mind but she was backing her truck out of the garage and the garage wasn't quite up all the way and it's okay but that little antenna part on the truck hit the garage so when it hit the garage it knocked the garage off track and she came downstairs so sweetly dear i just need to say something i just feel so bad but will you come up and just look at this and the garage is off track and all that kind of good stuff and and i go up there now of course i'm downstairs getting in the spirit come on i'm getting prepared for sunday i'm taking holy communion y'all know what i'm talking about you're gonna see how holy you are when your wife come tell you that she hit the garage i'm taking holy communion and as a matter of fact the night is winding down and i'm watching pop lester sumrall he's preaching a good message on faith i've already done my homework i always listen to faith generally speaking build my own spirit up and i'm watching pop summer all and my wife comes and gets me out of the theater room and she says there you just need to come up here i'm so sorry and she was trying to do a good deed she was moving all of our cars around taking good care of things so that our cars would be out and ready for whatever we were going to drive today and i thank there for that and then i went and i saw the garage off track now i must admit that that soul temperament tried to get in there and i started saying stuff like well did you hit it y'all know what i'm talking about when you can't find the right words to say that i'm angry that you hit it well how did you hit it but then the lord brought it to my remembrance that just two short days ago we were all at cvs in the ford f-150 amen which has no backup camera and coming out of cvs after buying the kids some candy and getting back in the car on a friday night i conveniently backed up into a toyota truck behind me now what's good for the geese is good for the y'all gonna catch up here in in a second so as i heard had a little temperature going up on the inside of me amen the holy ghost said but what about you ain't you taking holy communion didn't you just hit somebody just two short days ago did i not require you to have any insurance card then you just go scot-free why don't you let her go scot-free and that's when the garage got back on track it got back on track well what's the point find somebody that has the humility to restore you after you get through telling them about all the stuff that you messed up with you ever tell me about something you did wrong hey guys even if i ain't did not wrong in 16 years i'ma find something just so i can restore you i'm like yeah but i left the door unlocked last night so we all make mistakes you'd be like but pastor i murdered somebody you don't understand yeah but we all make errors i left the door anything i can do to bring you back to life right and i say that comically to make this go down well but yeah guys you got to tell your story i'm trying to make you laugh but i know this this message is a little achy a little bit because you know we talk about stuff you've been through came through and at a certain point though in order for the enemy to no longer plague you at it you gotta offload it you gotta offload and i mean not pieces of it can we offload the whole thing i know you told god about it but he said tell it to somebody of greater spiritual magnitude so that they too can restore you into what spirit of humility confess your false one to jesus that ain't what the scripture says you do that too he's faithful and just to forgive you but confess your faults one to another so that you can be healed this just came out of my spirit and i don't know who this is for but there's no way in the world you could have slept with one of your previous pastors at a previous church and then go to a church with a clean pastor and not have some inhibitions about pastors are you all in here you're going to need to tell somebody about that so you can receive from somebody that's right is that not right how many all know of one surgeon cut off the wrong arm i'm gonna be larry of surgeons for the rest of my life and if you have had some church hurts and some incidences and stuff going on that you never offloaded you better be careful with that you better tell it you better share every part and don't come over here and talk about everything that everybody did to you what did you do sometimes i marble over the people who leave this church in strife we haven't had one in a long time and i thank god for that believe in strife and i say to myself where are they going are they going to somebody else's church to act like they were doing right because you can leave me but you can't leave god and if you was making a mess over here what are you gonna do over no you're gonna and i'm fine with you going over there but you're gonna have to be honest you don't have to tell them people i wasn't doing right where i was even if you changed churches everybody say tell your story number two embrace community embrace community what is reproach all about it's all about non-acceptance so what is the opposite of non-acceptance acceptance community all right everybody wants to find their place of acceptance ladies you know you come home with that new beautiful hairdo and you don't get the response from your husband that you was vouching for what do you do reconsider that hairdo right cause you didn't get acceptance we need community we need fellow believers reminding us of how much god loves us you know there's a little slogan i give around this church every time i give you a high five or shake your hand you hear pastor say stuff like girl you are on you on fire see people know that slogan around here and that's just my way of saying you're on track you doing well girl you are on fire and why is that so important cause people need acceptance but where do you get that you get that in community you get that around fellow people of a like-mindedness some of you are visiting the day where are you going next week stay around community church members stay around community stay around people who not only tolerate you but they celebrate you they they're excited for you they're always giving you a high five angela they're always saying to you how awesome you are how on track you are amen and you are because we need community i'll tell you something funny so i don't put you to sleep because i know y'all like pastor trauma trauma trauma but you need this word now i never forget i was preaching one sunday and my wife and cause i so looked for her affirmation my wife said oh dear that was an amazing message today and she said and that suit you had on she said it remind me of the cortez i hadn't worn that suit since [Laughter] because i don't want to remind nobody of no dog on quartet that sue is in the closet buddy i don't know when it's coming back out roz i didn't get the information i wanted that week you remember that there she said remind me of the quartet i said lord glad you got the holy ghost i don't wanna wear anything that reminds you of the cortex i say that to make you laugh the point is though that's what you need you need people around you man that's buttering you up building you up reminding you of you not reminding you of your previous image either right oh aunt jamie numb who every time you go to visit them they got to tell a story about when you was musty don't nobody want to hear that story at 49. boy when you was a girl man when you was 12 and 13 you were musty all the time i claire you coming that house from playing and you was just a musty fella but look at what guy and you bringing your fiancee home for the first time but look what the lord doesn't done in you don't nobody want to hear them stories i don't even want people who knew me way back then to talk about man gave you up be quiet man you remember when remember nothing let me introduce you to stephanie [Music] nothing about no reproach is that not good you want people around you that celebrate you is that all right number three turn off unneeded reminders of devastation turn them off i mean no harm by saying this but some people didn't need to watch the september 11th memorial it was an unneeded reminder of devastation some people did because it helped them acknowledge it and and continue to do their work through mourning don't misunderstand me i got better sense than that but some folk y'all you need to turn unneeded reminders of devastation off and that's on a global level but it has to be on an individual level as well people who who are soldiers back in the 90s they when they come back with ptsd they used to use a treatment known as flooding and flooding was a treatment where we would duplicate what the soldier went through so they put them in an in vivo system to where it would give them the same weather and they put scenes around them and noises and all kinds of things of warfare as a means to invoke the same emotional responses they were having back at war so they could safely invoke them and then put them to bed with a therapist now data since came out that demonstrated that flooding was doing more harm than good it was not helping them in many cases it was doing more harm than good and you don't need people places and things and news and information to constantly flood you with the peak of the delta and the discs into that and how we don't know if and what's going to be you don't need it turn off unneeded reminders of what church devastation i don't want to talk about stuff over much after i have confessed it after i put it out there with my christian therapist or my pastor whomever i don't want to continue to rehearse this over much because the truth is the only person re bringing up reproach is the devil himself the only person that wants me emotionally uncomfortable all the time is my enemy jesus said i came that you might have life and how do i want you to have it more abundantly well what's abundant about being on vacation but the only thing you could think about is the affair that happened there's no abundant life in that the only thing you can think about is the molestation that happened there's no abundance in that are you all with me turn off unneeded reminders of devastation and you do that by telling your story embracing community and then number four this is so good it's my favorite point of the day understand that recovery is supernatural it's not just through psychobabble it's supernatural you know in recent days and days gone by i have personally seen the legitimate power of the blood of jesus just how powerful y'all his blood is can i talk about the blood like the reason why you don't need to be hemmed up and we're gonna pray for people in a few short minutes but the reason why you don't need to be hemmed up about the molestation that happened when you were six is guys get this revelation the blood of jesus has literally when you got born again made all things new spiritually but if you get in faith it will make all things new pragmatically and practically as if it never happened are y'all getting this you mean to tell me pastor i could be with my husband like a virgin yeah my big brother preaches a message called re-virgination isn't that good news because recovery from trauma y'all is super natural i was talking to a dear friend of mine not long ago and i asked them they were working through some things and i said what part of your life because they they regretted some things they did but i said what part of your life would be different today if you had never done those things and it was a powerful moment at least for me it was because they could not articulate anything that they would have had now had they never done what they did back then because the blood of jesus had made all things new on on a light level brittany you know i tell my story about being in college and buying that car prematurely so i can bless my gappers and help you all not to make wrong decisions tanisha but i don't have any more money now than i would have had if i didn't buy that car because grace catches you up man ain't nobody studying no ford expedition from 1999 72 vehicles later somebody said get a grip what about your life would be different if you never drunk alcohol well pastor you know the truth is i wouldn't i wouldn't have this or that well but it now what the blood of jesus is for so can the blood of jesus make your liver new now we're getting into the supernatural can the blood of jesus smoker make your lungs new i know i'm preaching too long can the blood of jesus can the blood of jesus make it as if none of that stuff ever happened and you got to believe that you know mel we we've told our stories before and you've shared it publicly and i've shared some things you know but man oh man you know those who who have drunk and things of that nature and all that kind of good stuff you know when i when i look at you i don't see nothing that would be different from years gone by i don't you mean four houses later and three kids and a beautiful homemaking wife and melvin will tell you everything he probably had seven figures now wouldn't shock me you see why nobody's laughing they believe it it's true i don't know what that brother makes a year i know he be having some money and you can't hide money it's going to come out somewhere i'll be thinking melvin is is conservative then i look at his shoes and i said ah nah that brother he got he got more than he letting on to i know what kind of shoes those are uh-huh yeah so what about his life would have been different if he never ever in his life took a sip of alcohol i remember when he beat it what would have been different would he have not been able to live in waxall where the richie rich live uh-huh not gonna give you his home address but he's doing just fine i've been there so guys can we stop all of the stuff that the devil's trying to do to try to convince you that you can't have it that you don't qualify so what you had an abortion now go forth get married and have five more kids and see your sixth child when you get to heaven but start living like heaven on earth in jesus name hallelujah somebody shout hallelujah in the house of god nothing would have been different because his blood redeems his blood makes new last point of the day five things that get you over the traumas in your life number five embrace the remedy of today embrace it everybody say embrace it embrace the remedy of today pastor what does that mean use the trauma in your life to produce something even greater use it use it for your good so you have something traumatic to occur in your life man use it as a building block embrace the remedy of today what's the remedy of today the good success that comes with today are y'all in here what's the remedy of today the favor and blessings of god that come with today are y'all with me embrace it embrace the remedy of today and use that trauma to burst something greater now you can look at verse 24 of our text and we're close back to second sample y'all put it on the screen so he said i can't bring him back to me i got to go to him we're closing then david did what comforted beth she but what is pastor gabe doing with you all today comforting david comforted bathsheba his wife he went into her and lay with her you know what that means and she bore a son and he called his name solomon and the lord loved him out of all that trauma all that stealing somebody else's wife he used that situation laid with it and produced something that even to this day has not been usurped solomon is still the richest man that ever lived steve jobs didn't beat him bill gates didn't beat him this fellow with amazon bezos he didn't beat him solomon is still the richest man that has ever lived and all of that came out of trauma you're gonna have to make up in your mind are you gonna be a tamar or are you gonna be a david tamar was messed over by her relatives and never bounced back david made a mess of his life but he bounced back embrace the remedy of today go and enjoy go and have fun go and live is that not right come on we going into the fall season if you like me i don't have no bad seasons my favorite season actually is the holiday season but even going into the fall i love the morning brisk come on no seasonal effective disorder for us pastor every time the weather changes i start feeling a certain kind of weight not this year the only thing you're going to feel with the time change is more joy is that right are you believing the only thing that's going to happen is it's going to get better are you believing no more secondary trauma deborah god loves you girl we were talking about you this week yeah yeah he does he loves you go and embrace the promises of today i made a mistake we all did i made some egregious mistakes in my life but i confessed it and the lord brought me back it's okay may have had a mishap here or there but don't let it traumatize you i want to pray for some people this morning that's enough i won't even use all my preaching time if you're here today as we all stand and you've been traumatized by something in your life it's a time to be real honest something in your life has sought to not only was it traumatized but it seeks to rob you of the promises of today of the things that god will want to see you have and part of the things that he would want to see you have is joy joy you're here today and that's you i want you to come on down i want to pray with you i want to pray with you today yeah trauma's in my life i didn't have time to call the whole roll call of traumas guys relationship breakups dad mistreating husband mistreating trauma's in my life job loss or job stress can be a trauma people on the job not liking you trauma i told you to vaccinate or not trauma man that that stuff is dramatic i know it is for some people we do the best we can to educate over here but i know it's a lot of pressure in this world y'all for all kinds of stuff man trauma trauma trauma i was watching a tv program the other day and it was it was the waltons and even the the theme music and the sounds and the ambiance of the show i looked at my wife i said dear oh to have those days back anybody remember that when times were just normal now they were still irregular but the intensity wasn't like it is today there were still already abortion clinics out there you just didn't know it there were still things going on that shouldn't have been going on then i turned to another channel and they were playing the facts of life take the good you take the take them both and there you have it facts of life right pre-brady bunch days and and beyond come home to a hot meal and and your parents raised you i said to my wife remember that dear i said dare to have them days back again wow but the truth is i don't want to go back i'm privileged to live in a time like this i'm excited to have trauma go on all around me but to go unaffected by it within me isn't that good linda i mean mom everybody else and i'm not excited about it don't hear it the wrong way but everybody else getting their own conceptualization of this world but it just never and i y'all i'll be honest with you i tried to get there personally but it never got there my wife would say i have never had a day of trepidation generally speaking i mean slight moments where you know i had to make decisions for you as a church you know i remember that last year things of that nature but generally speaking man that stuff stayed on the outside i just it just couldn't get it here it couldn't pam i couldn't get there right that's where god wants you he wants you in an untraumatized living now you don't have to tell all your stories up here i'm not going to put anybody on the spot personally i won't um but i encourage you man stuff that occurred man and y'all you had the right church we got the right systems for it it's discreet you know you tell i see sister pam back there you tell her something it's not going any further than the systems by which you tell it it's gonna stay right there and in that dp system i just need to tell somebody something i never forget had a couple they're not members of this church i i could tell you guys a thousand stories today that would make you gasp but i but but it's trauma i had a couple lady lady had gotten married to the man and and then on on our wedding night this was at the practice he didn't want to sleep with her he didn't want to be with her guys that's drama can you imagine wearing your white dress rolling off somewhere thinking you found a man in your dreams and all that kind of good stuff and this is the outcome he looked at her and said he said is that all you want me for how many all know that's weird i think she had them got an undercover brother yeah guys yeah that's trauma somebody in the back saying that's so much trauma i'm gonna choke that dude out huh it's a lot of amen's coming on that one you're gonna get hurt you did what that's when it's time for an annulment but the good part is if you stay in this system over here you won't get down the aisle you won't i'm not gonna marry you hey man not me you come to meet with me for some premarital counseling with a dude that's slipping and sliding i'm gonna tell you hey man then i'm definitely not doing a wedding now you can get married but i decide what i want to do is that right you can't make me do the wedding i'ma stand up and say sister johnson got married y'all give her a hand clap pastor when was the wedding i didn't do it i wasn't near and thank god for the dude sitting next to her that'd be my response cause you should have listened and undercover brothers don't like brothers in the light mm-hmm they don't so that's just a side that's pastoral but it's trauma that was trauma for that lady and she wasn't a young lady either man she's going on her 50s that's traumatic for you to find this out find that out people lying to you this is going on you think you found your knight in shining armor that's why back to isaiah chapter four you single sisters don't be so doggone desperate man that if i don't have somebody by the 25th oh if i don't have a boyfriend this year by the 25th please of december and i'll tell you what i'm gonna do i'm gonna go buy my own christmas gifts i got money till the right one come no more pre-fabricated trauma is that all right no more trauma that you bring on yourself can we just first do something that i know some of you may need to do because we talk about a lot of things that happen to us but sometimes things happen because of our choices so let's first repent okay if you don't need to repent don't you do it it's not for everybody but it'll be for a few of you down here at least you just know like some of the traumas in my life now if it were me i would have to repent because i know stuff that i did before i got restored i needed to repent first okay then i could get restored so if that's not you don't worry about it but if you know without a shadow of a doubt some of these were indicative of a decision you made i just want you to just do your business right now it's in that brokenness come on father i'm sorry come on i can't do it for you do it come on lord i'm sorry i repent i run back to you jesus i'm sorry for that decision and i repent and we don't have to slave over this thing y'all he said he's faithful and just to forgive you i'm so glad to see some of my young people they already had their service then they came down to this altar good for you good for you get all you can on a sunday morning go ahead and just repent if you need to repent all right all right father i'm sorry and y'all we don't have the slaver over that today but then the second level of releasing this trauma that happened to you some of you need to forgive some people get it on your mind whoever or whatever it was and i know this may be the hard part the one who took advantage one who did what they should not have done misled you didn't treat you right but faith doesn't work in an unforgiving heart come on let's get rid of all of that junk today how you gonna get your new husband still vacillating over the last guy that didn't do right i believe god is meeting some people in that somebody on this side of the church in particularly it's a marriage i sense that pool it's a marriage on the last go-round he didn't do right but i'm telling you if you'll forgive him god will give you beauty for ashes he'll restore and that won't be the last husband you ever had come on right now just say out of your mouth i forgive him i forgive i do i forgive my dad who didn't who are near to protect me from the boys that's a father's job lauren will never be off the hook because i'm there to protect her i'm there to say no you can't go dads are supposed to do that so i forgive my father come on we got to do this business i see the tears y'all it's okay some of you let's forgive a previous pastor can you do that a church whatever you know disappointments and i'm church hurts boy they are something you heard pastor rondy talk about it he and i were at the same church the information he shared with you he told you i was the first one to know i was the one who exposed it i was the one who put it in the light i know what it's like to go through some church reproach that thing is hard but somebody you had so much confidence in and you love so much and you and you honored so much and for things that go south that hurts so some of you right now you need to forgive a previous church it's in the room it's in the room you need to forgive something previous god is doing the work at this altar you don't have to worry about being loud don't worry i'm walking you right through it spiritually and therapeutic at the same time i forgive my father i forgive my ex-boyfriend come on we doing that work this morning come on do your business i forgive them i forgive them i forgive my dad who didn't protect me from my brother who didn't protect me from my sister from my uncle who shouldn't have had access to me come on forgive my mom i forgive whoever and then some of you you're the culprit i forgive myself i'm sorry mm-hmm yeah you got to forgive yourself now forgive yourself you got somebody you need to call after church what if you did it don't you call them and say hey look i'm sorry i just wanna i just need i don't know what you wanna do with this information but i need to call you because god's removing the reproach today that's trauma a reproach and some brokenness at this altar come on let's work this thing father we thank you for it right now now what i believe may be the last point of the day i see god just working on people is i want you to lift your hands a little higher and receive the love of god because he loves you oh thank you jesus he loves you come on come on receive the love of god receive the love of god oh hallelujah receive the love of god god loves you girls come on come on dear help me work this altar a little bit hey man i'm just touching a few select people as the lord leaves me girl just receive the love of god it's restoration man in the name of jesus we need we need these moments this this message is more powerful than i thought come on guys receive the love receive the love in jesus name come on no more brokenness no more bondage to the past in the name of jesus in the name of jesus i receive the love of god i embrace it i embrace it yes god loves you it's not over yup you can still get married mm-hmm has been a looming question is anybody anything left sure is despite me pastor yeah yeah receive the love of god come on he removes the reproach amen thank you lord and kendra you need this receive it monique you need an embrace from me and sister rogers there you get on one side and i get on the other because you know sometimes we just we go in and out on that stuff you don't have to anymore we love you yeah and we forgive and i hope you'll forgive me you forgive me yeah we love you man no more we love you sometimes you need another human being to embrace you amen what do they think about me high thoughts i know it's in there yeah that's accurate right there i wonder if they like you i love you now more than ever amen so loyal that's what i think about you come on walk that out receive that by faith we love you we love you we love you i want to say to people in this church this is such a therapeutic sunday if i've wronged any of you even accidentally let me let me say it over the loudspeaker i'm sorry if i ever ever wronged you wrong i want to apologize i want to apologize i want a church full of pure people marianne if i ever did anything to hurt you i'm sorry anybody anybody in this church i mean that i just happened to catch your eye i don't i don't know that may not mean anything but anybody in here if you ever call me and i didn't call you back fast enough i don't know anything guys you you need to have a pure heart amen man god loves you he does i just keep affirming people and i don't know i think this is the right church for you too i'm just going to give you that that nudge but i want you to make that decision okay god loves you all man you visiting sis god loves you i know you know that yeah i look at some of you guys who visit and forgive me if i'm stepping overbounds out of bounds some of you may be from out of state but i'm gonna be honest with you guys those of you who are local and you visit me frequently and particularly and your church has been closed isn't open ain't opening up hey guys come on over trust me i don't want you just for your money i don't that's just the truth i got more in it than how much you can give on a sunday morning i want to see you win i want to see you overcome and and see you can't get rich word like this this week then go back next week and stay on track in fact some of you after this altar call i want you to sign up for counseling we got a new counselor at the practice you can see her she's under my supervision if you want to you see somebody else if you want to i just rather you go to somebody christian i'd rather you go to somebody's spirit field if you ask me i think in mental health in the city i probably know where you might want to go you know you've got a pastor with a phd he might know something you know i think if i can you know counsel the nfl i might be able to help you somebody like you come on guys let's break through okay don't go back on this side of the room god loves you melissa god i love you we do too i never got to you that sunday when pastor rodney was ministering to you but there's more inside of you it is i i've spoken to you before through words of knowledge and and were they accurate i remember that sunday over here in particular don't deny it come all the way want to see husband come too but christianity is an individual thing it is and so you play your part do your role if he were here i tell him the same thing but you go all the way in with god you got gifts and talents in you that we we don't know yet because like that verse it was for you the devil wants to take your voice he wants to this i used to be a patriots fan it used to be look at those pittsburgh people boy i tell you hey on the front bro dave why you bring her and put her on the front row dog on pittsburgh people boy let me get on this side of the church go over here i might bump into keisha i got a lot of folks from pittsburgh they don't like me but um why and that's okay amen he's doing what babies do why would the patriots with their sixth super bowl win themselves trade the best quarterback that ever played the game dave you got to be honest if by statistics alone guys he won six super bowls i've been using some harsh words today so let me end off sunday with one more that's stupid that's a harsh word i'm gonna say it though it it there's some things that's just like for me to have taught and preached three times a day and instead of getting in my car and driving home i live like 30 40 minutes away and talking about i just need to walk to think through some things i just need to think about and process the day how many all know that is stupid well to trade your number one quarterback and then he go to the team with skull for their image i mean the tampa bay buccaneers they're pirates when you can make a pirate win the super bowl so god pastor get to your point i will i just want to make you laugh a little bit ariel why would you leave the church you're not doing it but i'm just talking to the people of god hey guys why don't you join this church i'm gonna do something real uncanny now i'm so glad to have my new couple that came yo if you know i'm your pastor and you know this is your church and kcc y'all just pray with me for a minute but you've been visiting you feel the pull of god i promise you if nobody joins today my feelings won't be hurt i'm only doing this because i pain and all kinds of ways that they found to validate hurting but still doing what we do that's not right and then what do they end up doing end up in an affair end up messing over some money end up doing something they shouldn't have done i'm not preaching hurting i may be a little tired this morning but i'll tell you like like like my dad i'll drive sleepy but i won't drive tire you follow me no i'm okay with a little tiredness paul said i'm okay being well spent for the ministry but i'm not compromised in in my logic are you all getting that no we healthy no trauma from yesteryear makes me think a certain kind of way no i'm healthy i showed you the lady with the spoon today now you can get whatever you want is that not right but i'm a healthy pastor i'm doing my job is that not right love people and we don't receive every one of these persons down here today amen if you've not accepted christ as lord i'll lead you to the lord right now i don't want to assume anything you guys don't care how much money you can or can't give in this ministry we never want you for your money they do those things every year because it's biblical they show double honor but i don't want anybody ever walk off from this church because you did not have money are you listening to me right you press forward and you do what you can and whatever we're doing pastor anniversary capital campaign whatever the case may be always so your tithe and offering but you do your absolute best and you believe god for seed like brother melvin said last week and he'll give it to you but i want us to keep our hearts pure with that is that okay so when i ask this question i mean it in purity and sincerity because if you didn't have a dime we still pastor you okay in between jobs will pastor you but will you believe will you tithe and give to your church will you do that all right you guys already answered would you do that amen will you guys do that god bless you amen and last but not least y'all and
