Ranking the VIZARDS from WEAKEST to STRONGEST | Bleach Ranking

at the beginning of the irancar arc we are introduced to a gang of characters known as the vizards now these mysterious characters are considered to be an exiled group of criminal shinigami who tried to illegally obtain hollow powers at least according to ishin however we know that to only be a half truth yes these guys are exiled and yes they are hollow fired but it was all entirely against their will they were pawns in eisen's plan and they are firmly in the camp of the good guys now they received a fair bit of hype during the iran car arc and fans were very excited to see what these hollow fights shinigami could actually do but i think it's fair to say that the majority of us as fans were somewhat let down by how the vizards were actually portrayed when it came to their big moments to shine many of them didn't quite hit the mark characters like hatchy managed to pull off some pretty awesome moves but unfortunately especially going into the thousand-year blood war arc the vizards were always pretty heavily sidelined in favor of the original group of captains now this does make sense the vizards are supporting characters after all but it also means that ranking them in terms of their strength is a little bit difficult because some of them characters like hiori mashiro lisa pretty much get no fighting screen time whatsoever throughout this entire story but we're gonna do our best anyway i think i've come up with a list from the weakest to the strongest that i'm actually fairly happy with but i imagine it'll be maybe somewhat controversial anyway but obviously this is only my opinion so when i'm going to try and rank the vizards from weakest to strongest feel free to do exactly the same in the comments i'd love to see how similar or different our lists actually turn out to be before we begin just a little bit of housekeeping ichigo himself is a vizard but i haven't included him on this list for pretty much the same reason i don't have him on any of these kind of lists due to the nature of him being a perfect hybrid he should really be showing up on just about every single one of these ranking lists we actually do and i don't find that to be particularly interesting we know for a fact that ichigo is pretty much the strongest character in the series so really he would just be winning out most of these anyway so i haven't included him but if you want to please feel free to go ahead and i'd love to see where you slot him in onto your lists there is another character on here who is not part of the vizard specifically their group but he has made it onto this list you probably already know who i'm talking about but i'll save that for the actual list itself before we crack on with the ranking guys if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet already algorithm and also hit the notification bell to stay up to date with all of my uploads now i want to preface this list by saying that none of these characters are weak they are all essentially captain class shinigami who also have the ability to use hollow powers now that clearly should make them pretty powerful like i said though none of them really have great showings throughout the series and many of them seem to actually get purposefully dunked on by kubo and a lot of the vizards being supporting characters are just simply used as gateways for the more popular characters to then show off their actual strength that being said i think i've formulated a decent list um but again if you don't agree with me please let me know yours in the comments below but let's kick this off with the first character on this list and who i believe to be the weakest vizard number nine on this list is the former vice captain of the twelfth division and shinji seemingly second in command hiyori sarugaki now i can i can't imagine she would be too happy about being placed at the very bottom of this list and like i said before it doesn't mean she's weak but really hiyori despite her prominence early on in the iran car arc really gets absolutely nothing to do in terms of fights and i just don't think she's all that impressive already before hollification she was a vice captain level shinigami so she's already contextually weaker than some of her colleagues but even with her hollow powers i don't think she really does all that much to stand out her zanpakto kubikiri orochi doesn't appear to necessarily have any special abilities and in my opinion it always kind of felt like a downgraded version of zabi maru zabi maru without the versatility essentially it is just a big admittedly cool looking butcher knife with some serration on it but other than that it doesn't really seem to do a whole lot and that's absolutely fine for hiyori her animalistic personality she's quite a scrappy individual it makes sense that her zampacto is akin to a big knife but it doesn't mean that she's that impressive also she's quick to anger and her hot-headed temperament has got her into trouble at least once in the series when she rushed eisen only to be cut straight in half by guin ichimaru so clearly not necessarily the smartest fighter either or the very least very quick and easy to be wound up which as we've seen also with characters like hitsugaya is a trait that you really don't want that's not to say hiyori doesn't do some pretty cool stuff especially later on in the series unfortunately much like some of her peers she is hard sidelined in a thousand year blood war arc but she does do a pretty awesome triple cero unfortunately it is against gerard valkyrie and and these feats all come down to nil because he can just essentially void everything they throw at him so it's not a great showcase for hiyori's power but unfortunately she has to go at the bottom of the list in my opinion because she just simply doesn't do anything that impressive she spars with an ichigo at the start of the art but ichigo is in a bad place at this point in the story we know his power is fluctuating wildly so it's really not a true estimation of his strength and as soon as white takes over his body anyway he utterly destroys hiori so in my opinion she does come in at the bottom of the list next up on our list is the former vice captain of squad nine now the super vice captain of squad nine mashiro kuna now mashiro again is a character that barely does anything we know that she doesn't like to use azam pakto she is a hand to hand fighter and she's clearly very adept at it and the main reason she didn't come in at bottom on this list is because unlike hiyori she does actually have some pretty cool feats she one shots the character hulir who i believe used to be called fuhrer and then they changed it to julia i think in the viz translation anyway um but actually how impressive this feat is is pretty hard to say because huli doesn't actually engage anyone else in battle it might just be that he is incredibly weak and it's literally just a transport device for the menos grande but we'll never know for sure and as far as i'm concerned this is a tick in mashiro's box she literally one shots him when she kicks him in the chest and kills him she then goes on to fight one device and it doesn't really go that well for her she does beat him up pretty i'd say evenly to begin with he does manage to deflect her supercero but then he begins easily getting the upper hand on her when she uses her horror mask but it breaks considerably faster than she was anticipating i've never been quite sure what to make of that was it kind of a lie when she said that she could use a hollow mask for 15 hours or whatever she thought it was or is it merely just that she overestimated her own skills or was she over exerting herself during this fight and therefore couldn't use it for as long as she wanted to regardless mashiro again never really shows off too much in the way of a skill set outside of hand and combat and after she's beaten by wonder why she is out of the fight having said that at least her fully powered hollow form that you see in turn back the pendulum when she is a mindless hollow beast is actually pretty powerful she's able to wipe out rose admittedly it is a surprise attack but still not to be ignored and she does look pretty impressive and next on our list is the former vice captain of the eighth division now the captain of the eighth division lisa yada maru again much like the guys before her lisa does not get a lot of time to show off what she can actually do if anything now her zampacto hagaro tombo i actually think is really awesome it has a really cool design it looks like nothing else we've seen in the franchise and she doesn't really do anything with it she does a pretty cool move uh with her sealed zom puck toe where she kind of swipes faster than the eye can see and it cuts a menos grande into pieces but apart from that she's not given a chance to do much at all she's part of the three-way battle against harabel alongside hitsugaya and hiyori but again that fight is just not shown at all i think lisa uses her she kind and it's immediately over so again it's difficult to place her now she's obviously skilled enough to take the role of captain the soul society is happy enough with that but you have to wonder if she's actually powerful enough to have that role or if she's just filling the empty spot that there is left over i think that by the time we've got that 10-year time skip she probably is strong enough to have that role um but it's difficult to say again for sure and i do place her at the weakest end of the scale in terms of the end of series captains and a lot of that does come down to the fact that you don't get to see her do anything again like hiyori and like love and hatchy she is ill-fated in her pairing against gerard valkyrie which means that she gets wiped out in the thousand-year blood work without being able to do anything she has a pretty cool ability though where she seems to like send a bunch of sword swipes into gerard but again they're swatted away as though they were flies and it doesn't make her look good that being said one thing i think lisa definitely has over both hiori and mashiro is a cool head her temperament for battle is definitely better than both of those mashiro being perhaps a little too childish to not take the situation seriously enough whereas lisa definitely does and she's quick to race in against harabel while hiyori and tosha are both arguing at each other showing their immaturity lisa takes the situation seriously and charges head first against her enemy who she knows won't wait forever and i appreciate that about her and i like her straightforwardness i think it does make her better suited to fighting than at least the last two the next character on this list is definitely going to be controversial i'm just going to say it right now i know that we're now entering muddy waters as far as who should go where and honestly i think that maybe the next three characters are all pretty close together but i've chosen for this spot the captain of the ninth division kensei muguruma a lot of this is down to the fact that kent say we do actually see a decent amount from him and it doesn't help him unfortunately because he's never that impressive his zampak toe tachikaze and his bankai tekken tatcha casey just don't do a lot for me as far as how powerful he actually looks tatcha kazi is pretty cool it turns into a small combat knife and then essentially where he cuts things explode but the best showing he ever has with his sheikai in my opinion anyway is against a normal hollow in the term at the pendulum arc which is a big shame kensei is obviously a very skilled hand to hand fighter and his no-nonsense attitude again is definitely a benefit when it comes to battles but for some reason kubo just really wanted to stop this guy short of greatness despite his captain status he goes up against one device in the fake karakura town arc and activates his bankai for the first time but their fight is completely off screened and you are left to assume anyway that wonderweiss definitely won that battle because he is the only one to show up again later on and he arrives to take on yamamoto and now i think i've read somewhere that people say that one device maybe just ran away from the fight with kensei but are you really telling me that if kensei is actually still standing that he isn't going to go and help the shinigami against eyes and when the karakura town is in mortal peril i don't know i think he was probably defeated but that's just my takeaway anyway i could be completely wrong the thousand year blood war arc does little to make this guy look any better either literally in my last video i talked about the battle against mask demasculine kensei plays a decently sized role in this fight and he looks pretty impressive to begin with but this is also the very base level of masks power as mars powers himself up he absolutely destroys kensei in bangkai and unfortunately tekken tatcha kaze's ability just doesn't scream that impressive to me either it is a shame to put him here his super-powered hollow form that you see in turn at the pendulum is clearly immeasurably powerful but since that's not truly him anymore he now has actual control over the power it's difficult to really say that that can actually help him in this ranking so i don't really want to put kensei here but it feels like he kind of has to go here but to be honest it's on the cusp with who's next next on this list about the halfway point we have the former captain of the seventh division love ikawa love again is a character who barely gets to do anything it looked like he was going to get to do a decent amount because in the iran karaki actually gets a nice showing against starkey he's the one who fights him the most outside of kyoraku but then in the thousand-year blood war he's just gone for some reason so i don't know kubo just decided that enough of him but you know love again is another captain level shinigami just like kensei who also has the powers of a hollow but unlike kensei i actually think tengu maru is somewhat impressive and it's a shame we never get to see it's bankai that definitely holds love back and the fact we don't get to see his bankai is kind of what's making me tita between him and ken say for this position on the list because we have literally no idea what it could be it could be powerful enough that he goes up a couple of ranks or it could be absolutely terrible even worse than tekken tatcha kaze we don't see much from love but what we do see i think is actually pretty impressive most of the vizards have this chapter or two where they fight the menos grande just to kind of showcase some of their fighting styles their powers and their abilities and i always thought it was pretty impressive that love's able to literally rip a menace in half with his bare hands that's more impressive than what most the vaisard managed to do but what's actually impressive about love again a good mindset for fighting and a decent mentality and he goes up against stark without a second's hesitation and he actually bears down on the first to spider pretty nicely to begin with now we know that stark is emotionally shaken at this point but love takes advantage of that which i appreciate and tengu maru does look somewhat impressive in this fight with its ability hifuki no kodzuchi doing serious area of effect damage unfortunately the only thing he does in the thousand-year blood war arc is attempt to use hifuki no kozuchi again on gerard and this time it is slotted away like it's meaningless so that's a big shame and it really does prevent love from going any higher on this list like i said this spot could have been either love or can say but i think i'm putting love here for latent potential more than anything else i just think tengumaru looks to be inherently more impressive than tachikaze but it really could have gone either way next up on the list is the current captain of the third division and my favorite vizard rojuro rose otoribashi rose again is a difficult one to place because like the last two captains before him he doesn't get a great amount of screen time to really showcase what he can do however i'd say he gets a similar amount of time to kensei and what we see from him in my opinion at least has more potential and looks to be more dangerous than what kensei can conjure rose takes something of a back seat in the iran karak he does team up with love to fight stark and he does decently well but not impressive we do get to see his shikai kin which is a really cool golden whip and i think it's definitely more versatile than anything love or kensei can produce we do get to see it use one ability kinshara sonata number 11 is a borah i think i probably completely butchered that but it creates like some reverberating explosion at the tip of the whip which i think is again really cool and he uses it to great effect to fight off stark's wolves even though they do eventually overpower him but they also do the same to love as well rose definitely seems to be fairly resilient alongside love both of them are able to tank the hits from stark's wolves and seem to be more or less okay and rose as we know obviously has mastery over his hollow powers as well but it's actually in the thousand-year blood war arc that despite rose's poor showing i think we actually get to see his powers at their best and that's his bankai kinshara butodan and in my opinion this bankai if you had to compare it to the only other vaisard banker we have so far is just way more impressive with a lot more depth and a lot more scope to be considerably more dangerous kinshara butoden uses music to create illusions and this tricks and confuses the opponent into thinking it seems like almost anything can happen they can be attacked by water or they can be attacked by fire and as long as they believe this to be happening they will be afflicted as though it were and i think that's got a lot of potential for some really cool stuff unfortunately kinshara butodan might be the smallest amount we ever see a bangkai because i think it's only around for about three pages before rose stupidly gives the game away and i will admit that that personality fault of his is definitely keeping him from being in the top three on this list among other things as well but i actually think for the most part despite his theatrical and fop-ish exterior his mindset is mostly in the right place when it comes to fighting and he can take it seriously when he absolutely has to and he does a decent job against kensei even surviving the hit from uh mashuro directly to his head he still is okay after that okay enough to launch a kedo blast at kensei anyway so i think rose would surprise you i think he is actually more resilient than he's given credit for and i think his zampato is actually quite dangerous uh it's just not given the time to shine that it actually deserves that's not to mention the third ability ein helden lieben where really anything i talked about here would just be pure speculation but the fact that it's called a hero's death uh and ma and master masculine is his opponent makes me wonder if his bankai can conjure up bespoke abilities to fight exactly who he is fighting if that were the case then that would be really impressive but unfortunately we don't get to see it but for now i think rose deserves this spot on the list entering the top three now and we have the former vice captain of the kido core hatchigan ushoda now when you first lay eyes on hatchy the huge jolly very kind-hearted guy you probably wouldn't expect him to be third on the list of the strongest vizards but here we are and the reason for that is as i'm sure you know very obvious hatchi is about the only vizard who actually achieves anything in this series um which is kind of sad to say but hatchy goes up against a terrifying opponent in barrigan louisenbarn and i've just made a video about that fight in its entirety as well but hatchy is very impressive here showcasing an incredible mastery of kido that more than makes up for him not using his that's a big difference between him and say mashiro neither of these guys seem to like to use their zarpak toes but hachi really does have the skills to make up that gap whereas mashiro although very handy with you know hakuda she doesn't seem to have too much else to help her out kido just seems to me at least to be innately more effective and more useful and again hatchi's mindset is also better than mashiro's he he's definitely calmer he takes it more seriously barrigan is a very frightening enemy but hatchy for the most part holds his cool and he holds his own and i'm very impressed by what i see in fact hatchy actually is really impressive when you think about the way that fight plays out he thinks on his feet incredibly quickly to deal with respira which again like i said is one of the more frightening abilities we've ever seen in bleach and hatchy works very fast to build first a kido shield and then the shijuno saimon designed to help soifon land that critical hit i think hachi is obviously very resilient very resourceful and very quick thinking able to take off his decaying arm and put it inside barragan if that's not smart i don't know what is as far as i'm concerned that's very impressive and his victory over barragan is more than enough to put him here and the third place spot on this list because the guy is just he's a black sheep you know he's a big surprise i think hatchy and i think a lot of people like that about him unfortunately he just does nothing after this the thousand year blood warlock throws him away um like the others he goes up against gerard valkyrie mistakenly and gets annihilated in one hit which is a big shame um but yeah as far as i'm concerned hatchi's win over barrigan one of the more terrifying enemies of the iran karak is enough for him to go here and number two the second strongest fizard on this list in my opinion at least anyway is the de facto leader of the vizards the current captain of the fifth division shinji hirako now shinji again is a weird one i feel like i've talked about this a lot on this channel but despite being a pretty major player in the soul society shinji is just given no time to fight anyone it's not that he doesn't have screen time he does he shows up in the thousand-year blood war quite a lot it's just he never gets to fight anyone everything he does is completely off-screen what we do see of him though is quite impressive shinji is the leader of the vaisards for a reason after all it's clearly him and his charismatic nature but also his strength and his experience that's able to hold the gang together and keep people like hiyori somewhat in line at least when she's not slapping him around the face with a sandal that being said shinji clearly does have the battle experience of a veteran captain under his belt and his zampakto sakanade is very impressive second really only to eisen in terms of illusory prowess speaking of eisen shinji is the first person to ever actually land a hit on him on screen and if that's not impressive i don't know what is considering kubo treats eisen with the reverence of a real god it's a big deal when shinji actually hits him successfully confusing him with the use of sakanade unfortunately shinji like a lot of the vizards has a big mouth and ends up giving the game away somewhat but it is eisen so i can kind of forgive him he probably would have figured it out regardless but the fact that he lands that here is definitely a victory for this character but we've jumped ahead as far as shinji concerns and he actually has an impressive showing much earlier in the iran karak when he takes on grim joe now admittedly grim joe has one arm here and he also is only in base form but shinji mops the floor with him perhaps the most impressive i've ever seen of viazard is the way shinji just toys with this expada he's nothing to him and like i said there are mitigating circumstances involved but it's still very impressive how shinji is able to just wipe him out and the same actually applies to shinji as well though just because grim joe's not in his resurrection doesn't make it any less impressive because shinji also isn't even in shikhai and he still wipes the floor with him so there's definitely something impressive about that shinji is also part of the coalition of captains that really tries to take eisen on later on in the iran karak using his sakanade to he thinks anyway confusing once again but unfortunately he's wrong and this is really the last time you see him in this arc he does play a decent sized role in the thousand-year blood war arc as well and he doesn't really do anything too impressive here unfortunately but he does do a couple of things that i think are kind of overlooked due to the nature of how his character is portrayed in this arc for instance the way he's able to escape basby and save o'mydah and soy font and oh myda's sister's life using sakanali you can assume essentially entirely on his own he does that despite burner finger three sending lava absolutely everywhere and again i wish it but on screen but we know that he does keep them alive somehow it's a shame then that shinji is one-shotted by gerard like apparently a lot of vaisards are in fact thinking about it gerard one shots five vizards that's actually pretty bad um that is a disappointing end for shinji but we do find out a bit more about him and can't for your own world his bankai is actually sakashima yokoshima hapo fusa gary and it's an interesting banquet and it doesn't really work in the same nature as the rest of them bleach's fights are very traditional in design they are mostly 1v1 duals but shinji's bankai works against large mobs and actually i think this is pretty impressive i think it's a powerful if situational bankai but i think there's a lot of scope here it's maybe not as uh varied or versatile as kinshara bhuto dan could be but i think sakashima yokoshima hapo fusa gary that is a bit of a mouthful is still pretty impressive in and of itself able to make entire masses of enemies turn on each other and start attacking each other i love that as well i love the whole the whole reversing thing the whole flipping notion actually being used to turn friend into foe i think that's really cool so i think over the course of the series although shinji never gets any particular highlights decimating grim joe landing that first hit on eisen and having a pretty neat bangkai and saving the day against basby i think he deserves this spot but number one on this list and the strongest vizard in the series in my opinion anyway is the former captain of the ninth division and the traitorous anime tozen now tozen i get it he's not actually a member of this group of particular exiled shinigami but he has undergone the same transformation as them he has got full hollow vacation he has access to a holo mask and it clearly makes him very very powerful he was already a captain level shinigami on top of that as well but more so than the rest of the vaisards in my opinion tosin actually really showcases the power boost you should get from using your hollow powers tosun fights komomora and hisagi i would argue both captain level maybe hisagi is still vice captain at this point but still tosun runs rings around them both dealing serious damage to both of these characters and it is quite an impressive showcase clearly showing that tozen is beyond captain level at this point but of course what truly separates tosin from the rest of the pack is the fact that he can use a resurrection and this is actually pretty crazy because it does mean that tosin is a real true hybrid exactly what i assume eisen was originally wanting to create with the ho goku he has achieved that power and his resurrection gria griot while very impressive we don't get to see it too much but it does make mincemeat of a captain's bankai yeah you can argue it is common wara and kokujo tengen mio is a huge disadvantage in this fight but still it's impressive tosun's ability los nuevos aspectos basically one shots a bankai and i think it's pretty clear that tosin has actually managed to gain pretty good mastery of his hollow abilities and in my opinion is essentially the apex of what a vizard should aspire to be now it makes sense that the good guys don't want to go full hollow they don't want to use a resurrection because it is it kind of a symbolization that you have lost your way completely but tosin's not afraid to take that leap and because of that he is granted additional benefits and additional power and i think he has to be number one on the list because he is just that strong very clearly outpacing a captain and he only loses because he loses sight of who he is and he gets blindsided but i think tyson has to be at the top you know he can use he can use a cerro they can basically all use cerro but i just think cerro on top of resurrection and all the new abilities that come with that and the fact that this resurrection is able to just destroy a bankai means that tyson has to be here he he is the visa that if you really want to be a hybrid of those two you should be aspiring to be like tosin but that's it for my ranking of the vizards i hope you enjoyed it the vizards from weakest to strongest do you agree with my list you possibly don't these lists generally
