our slashes credit redditors with a murderer in the family what's your story my uncle he killed the town [ __ ] they found the body in a garbage pile two years later with his throat slit my uncle was sentenced to life without parole prison riot broke out he saved the life of two guards that other prisoners were trying to kill parole board called him in after the riot and voted to free him a few weeks later after saving those guards lives he moved in with his friend his friend was having an affair at the time with a man's wife and one night that man shows up at the door instead of killing my uncle's roommates he killed my uncle they let the guy who killed my uncle go free he lied saying my uncle attacked him first and my uncle couldn't argue because he was dead a few months later that man who walked free for killing my uncle was murdered and they never figured out who did it my dad says he knows for sure it was one of my older relatives at the time in Tulsa who ordered a hit on that man for killing my uncle it was murder dominoes in Oklahoma at the time people were just quick to pull the trigger back then my mom's new boyfriend murdered his wife because she drove drunk with their kids but when I looked up what happened he drove her 45 minutes away to the town I work in and strangled her then he ditched her body and filed a missing-persons report he went to jail for 25 years we told my mother that this was going to tear our family apart but she still chose him over myself and my brother my brother and I both have small children it's just something we don't want around our families before we knew anything my mother introduced my brothers taught it to my her new boyfriend his daughter ran up to him and hugged him because she / we trusted my mother's judgment I try and see her often and talk to her every week but she is kind of dead to my brother now added info this is all after my father died 42 years happily married she met her boyfriend through church she never looked up how he did it or if there were any warning signs which there were she decided to go through with their relationship after three months of dating and she always uses the I wish she wanted me to be happy line it infuriates me I lost it on her last time she tried to pull that [ __ ] I've blatantly told her you're going to lose bill if you don't break up with him and she says that's a decision my brother bill is going to have to accept because she wants to be happy and this guy makes her happy she recently bought a house with him his name isn't on the mortgage supposedly they've been dating for 11 months my cousin killed a child for almost a decade he went on with his life getting engaged having a career I think to myself how does someone carry on like that knowing the pain you caused I'll never know I guess he was questioned initially and they had DNA evidence but at the time DNA evidence bringing forth the conviction was a few years away they decided to run it and found a match he was under surveillance in the cops sat beside him at a bar chatted with him and when he left they took a cigarette butt to get his DNA my mother and I actually met up with him just by coincidence at a cultural gathering my mom remembers a strange man coming up to her right after she did it's strange and very unnerving to think there may be images or tape out there with us on it he tried to worm his way out of it his lies were almost as horrific as his crime he was found guilty he's been in jail almost 20 years now not one of us and we come from a large family have ever gone to see him or exchanged letters his mother died a year after he was sentenced I'm not sure if he knows his sisters both had high-profile careers one sister retired early to avoid scrutiny and the other changed professions altogether people say when someone kills another it should not reflect the family in any way it's one thing to say it and another thing to live it there will always be a stigma around your family or whispers we did not suffer in any way remotely equivalent to the victim's family but the family of murderers to suffer and have a stain on us we can never wipe up my uncle was the awesome uncle me being the wild teenagers always thought this he gifted me an a back for Christmas one year I thought that was the coolest thing ever in a how that's not this story my uncle was into drugs partying and just being crazy but he had a good heart he lived in a small town everyone knew him knew he was crazy but was a great guy he was fun a storyteller and was rather like level he had this girlfriend who was molested by her father when she was little her little sister still lived with the father and supposedly was still being molested the whole town knew this but no one did much my uncle was on a drunken meth trip and somehow it came up he went out to the man's house got into an altercation with the guy and demanded that he confessed beat up the father did confess this confession fueled my uncle's rage and he cut the man's dick off shoved it into his mouth and then slit the man's throat it doesn't end there my uncle took the man still squirming and moaning and threw him into the back of his truck he drove down a couple houses to my dad's house and woke him up he took my dad out to show him the dying body said his goodbyes and went on my dad doesn't speak of this much but I can only imagine how sad and messed up this conversation probably went my uncle left and my dad called the police my uncle made his way to my grandpa's to share the same tale and then moved off to the small town square this is where he took the body to the local bar had a few drinks and brought people out to see the body he was showing his trophy showing the others that he finally took care of the guy he then left the bar and went around the block to the police station and threw the body from the back of the truck onto the police stations door SWAT was now looking for him so my uncle went and holed up in a friend's house for several hours my uncle stayed in the bedroom while SWAT surrounded him he had been in prison for duis and didn't want to go back and he knew he was [ __ ] this time so he took his pistol and shot himself there the story is sad and we all really miss my uncle I am NOT saying what he did was acceptable but a lot of people supported him for some reason the victim's family was put into even more turmoil I believe my uncle's girlfriend went to the loony bin for a few years who knows where she is now the girlfriend and little sister rather real victims don't do meth this is my first time commenting on Reddit I have a story to share I have only ever told my boyfriend this my older brother murdered my father he was 17 at the time he snapped one day and apparently killed him with the knife and a hammer I feel really sad when I imagine what my dad's last few moments were like I think he probably felt a deep betrayal and an overwhelming sadness that his own son did this to him I wonder if he was able to come to terms with what was happening before he passed I know he must have suffered but I hope at least he wasn't angry up to the point of his death that he could feel some peace but in reality he probably died in agony and despair from being stabbed over and over watching his life literally drain out of him then my brother dismembered him and put his body in garbage bags and dumped him in the woods just imagine that a person you know no longer a person but slabs of meat a month went by before we started getting considered calls I lived in a separate home with my mom because my parents were separated at the time my mom called their house to see where my dad was and at that point my brother confessed my mum called the police and we were all brought into the police station I was 16 while waiting for our police interviews I wasn't allowed to speak to my other younger brother or my mom we were separated so we wouldn't collaborate my older brother confessed and ended up pleading guilty to murder I think first-degree but maybe second went to juvie for a few years then switched to adult jail he was released after six years in prison I think the league system is pretty interesting you can kill a human being and serve six years in trade for saving the tax dollar the money of a trial he went back to jail awhile later for animal cruelty I don't know if he's in or out right now I don't really want to haven't spoken to him for eight years now my father was not really a good person either he was abusive to my mom and I felt scared around him the last time I saw him he threatened to kill my mom in front of me at the same time he loved me and I have some good memories with him it's complicated I also always felt scared of my older brother I'd hide a knife under my pillow when he lived in my house because I was scared he tries something with me in the middle of the night the murder happened in the summer before I entered eleventh grade it was surreal the day I learned that my dad was killed I came home from a weekend cabin trip with a boy I kinda liked I remember I was wearing my favorite pair of socks when I was fingered for the first time with said boy at the cabin and I was still wearing them went I heard my dad was killed it was a strange juxtaposition being a normal teenager on one hand and then this massive culmination of violence on the other it certainly changed my life late to the party and not related to the person that I feel that it's an interesting story to share when I was 19 26 now my friend and I were introduced to the new kid in town his name was sky he was very socially awkward to the point that many couldn't handle his presence he admitted to myself and his other two closest friends that he thought he might be on the spectrum that didn't matter to us at all we all got along great and spent the majority of our time together that summer before we all went back to college flash-forward one year later we all come home from college sky comes home about a month later and tells us he dropped out of college and has spent the last year living in a shack on a llama farm in upstate New York with a rats dafair sky had officially become a Rastafarian and had given away all of his material possessions he wanted to marry a woman take her to Jamaica and live off the land even attempts to engage us all in a drum circle and slaps raw garlic into our mouths so we left and decided to take a step back from our friendship with Skye I think spending a year in a shack could make anyone crazy but something felt off about him two years later Skye is dating a 16 year old girl named Lena he is 24 the girl goes missing while Skye is still roaming about town the search party continues for weeks for the girl and Skye will not speak to the police there rest him on unrelated charges and Skye agrees to take them to where she is hiding even manages to escape and leads the cops on a wild goose chase for a whole day in the woods shortly after he is put in jail remains are found on the local llama farm he's not very subtle and when I say remains I mean he chopped her up burned her remains and left her in the field with a llamas I live in a small town where Eric freend the cop sniper was convicted of murder so they had to wait for the trial to be finished before moving on to Sky's due to budget constraints he should be going on trial next year before he died my great-uncle told me the story about how he killed the man who sleeps with his end wife he found out she was having an affair and decided it wasn't enough to just leave her he said he planned it methodically for weeks to make sure there was no connection to him he drove out to some field and dug a deep hole then he got some guys to pose as his alibi they'd say that he played poker with them and they cleaned him out really he paid them in case the police came asking he waited until the guy was supposed to have a date with my then aunt since he was sneaking around no one knew he was going to a motel to see a married woman my uncle said he ambushed the guy and drove into the hole while tied up in the truck he had to revive him since he was almost dead from suffocation then proceeded to beat the guy with a Louisville Slugger my uncle said he did it slowly and carefully to inflict pain but not kill him outright he said he had to stop and stretch a couple of times then after he had enough he pushed the guy into the hole and buried him my uncle said the guy was still alive while he buried him he then came home and told his then-wife he lost his job and all their savings in a poker game she was already upset for being stood up and left the next day my uncle got a divorce and moved on with his life he told me the thing that really bothered him was how he had never had a single moment's regret he never had a bad dream or even a moment's fear he wanted me to track down his ex and mail her a letter with his confession after he died I decided not to tell her I have only told a couple of people in my family those who knew my great-uncle weren't surprised my father suffered from bipolar but did not like the psychiatric advice he was given so did not take medication to be fair on the one hand a psychiatrist diagnosed slash labeled him as a misogynist which is not agreeable yet on the other he clearly hated all the women I know of in his life taking both verbal and physical acts as evidence instead he self medicated with booze and cannabis when he was apocalyptically drunk which was most nights he would veer between making threats against my mom his children or himself obviously my mom stopped sleeping in the same room as him the fact I have three younger siblings is down to him being a rapist as this kind of behavior is pretty tiresome he would therefore wake her up from sleeping on the living room sofa with a belt around his neck shouting about what she was doing to him I don't think my father was capable of realizing that he was doing this to himself one of my first memories is of him strangling my mother through the smashed glass of the porch door my last memory of talking to him is when he phoned from prison after years of threatening to kill someone and or anyone he did kill his first son my half-brother from his first and only marriage we kicked my father out when I was 18 and he lived in a very cheap and unpleasant student house owned by the shop owner who had been selling him Cal's bugs special brew for all those years Robert his first son went to live with him in order to get back into education interesting leta trained as a nurse like my own mother my father carried a knife around because he felt paranoid the fella blends into schizophrenia they can share similar genetic causes and certainly similar symptoms and during an argument about politics stabbed his son in the heart that was almost two decades ago I've had to work through a lot of survivor guilt recently my father died and his family managed to find my family to tell us that it's our fault all this happened that's just the kind of [ __ ] you have to believe to feel blameless when you have a son slash brother who hates you and wants to destroy himself and you are powerless to help because even admitting there is a problem after a string of arrests for domestic violence an imploded marriage being imprisoned for the manslaughter of your own son is not something you can take on board overall I've learned that when someone is mentally ill displays criminal behavior threatens to lash out and murder people and carries a deadly weapon around it might be best to take them seriously it is also important to not blame the victim even if it is convenient because convenience is not more important than human beings my grandfather stopped the first bank robbery attempt in a what was small village in Colombia all he did was alert the authorities even though he packed a revolver on him at all times the town is called Qin China he appeared in the newspaper for his heroic acts and not surprisingly a couple weeks later the Marauders tried to kill him he was driving from his farm in his Jeep when suddenly a guy pops out in front of him from behind a palm tree with a shotgun he dodged the shotgun blast as soon as he saw him and drove away shooting from behind his shoulder didn't kill the guy just escaped second baddest story my grandfather had flirted with this girl and turns out she had a really unstable brother that was kind of an soeul so one day my grandfather was just sitting at a bar minding his business when someone tells him that there's a man outside asking for him when he came outside there was a man in a poncho ljubljana and a sombrero the man suddenly shot a revolver from under the ruin and ran away the shot hit him right in the hip and he was saved because that day he was carrying a gift my grandmother had given him which was a quite big gasoline lighter he still has the lighter today when the man started running away the crowd cleared around him so my grandfather tried to get a short he took a step while drawing his revolver and fell to the ground smacking the gun hard when he tried to shoot the gun jammed and the guy got away he found the guy like two months later sitting at a bar by himself and just shot him three or four times in the back that son of a [ __ ] didn't even die according to him my father says that my grandfather killed a man once in a street corner for being a liberal look up by parties and violence or National Front in Colombia if you're confused about why but he never actually admitted to killing the guy since he was actually his best friend from his childhood my dad has tried to get him past drunk several times to get the truth but he holds his liquor as well as he holds his secrets moral of the story if you ever get to use a time machine don't go to Colombia in the fifties cause it was straight up wild wild west back in the 90's my uncle and his wife were hooked on crack my uncle had a work van for his detailed business which was their everyday vehicle one day my uncle got off work and was looking door his wife he ended up going to the drug dealers house and seeing the work van out front thinking nothing of it he went into the house however to haast surprise the living room was empty this was strange to him so he continued through the house until he walked in on my aunt and a dealer in the bedroom with my aunt performing sexual acts for the drugs my uncle was completely shocked and he walked back into the living room where he saw red and grabbed them a Chetty on the table and proceeded to stab the deal of thirty-six times and then ended up grabbing the gun off the dresser and shot him as well my uncle and the wife grabbed crack off the dresser but left the dollar sign 30k and fled the scene as they were hitting the pipe the drug dealer didn't end up dying until after he was at the hospital for four hours my uncle was arrested some three to four days after the incident because a neighbor remembered seeing the company van in the name on it and telling police it was a frequent visitor I spent my childhood visiting him in prison with my father and grandmother his wife divorced him about eight years into his life sentence and he received the paperwork a week before Christmas about a year later he finally won his Appeals and he ended up serving a little over 17 years in total he walks around today a free man my cousin was a month older than me growing up we were super close at one point he stopped coming by around age 15 and I heard he was hanging out with lowlifes and gangsters Irish roots in the u.s. so he was never mistaken for a Hispanic gangster at around age 19 he gets jumped and stabbed by two guys after a party while walking home he's in the hospital for like three weeks worst injury being a severe stab wound to the neck he gets out after the three weeks and goes home leads to go see his girlfriend comes home and goes to bed in the morning Ontario PD comes to the house wakes him up and arrests him for shooting and killing one of the guys who stabbed him wait there's more he is subsequently found guilty and is sentenced to state prison for 12 years he takes it like a man waved goodbye and leads to the big house he is sent to a prison in Calais and we figure well see him early if he's good he was not good he was the opposite of good you're not supposed to kill people in prison if you're an inmate within 30 days he discovered the other guy who stabbed him and took his voice was also at Ironwood prison didn't last long he was shanked something like 20 times but he left missing an eyeball cousin picked up I believe eight more years for that one now he's at San Quentin says it's not so bad not like you'd think [ __ ] I walked into this thread thinking oh thank God I don't have one then it hits me I do have one my cousin owned a ton of illegal weapons this is Portugal not America we're having a warehouse full of weaponry is pretty extraordinary his daughter lives in Switzerland with her daughter every year around Christmas she'd show up with a different man for some reason this time my cousin was apparently feeling mocked by his family although the circumstances were never revealed to me and considering how it's a pretty center of error issue to the whole family I tried not to investigate too much he left the living room went outside grabbed a gun and began shooting from the outside he immediately killed his daughter's boyfriend a bullet to the head if I'm not mistaken but still didn't stop shooting he apparently threatened that he was going to kill everyone in the room his wife son daughter and granddaughter police arrived and took him in that was a very grim Christmas everyone was shocked to know this well anyone would be really we never expected something like that to happen he was a very sweet guy to my family always treated us with a great deal of kindness he always had many dogs and obviously loved them all I don't think he is a bad man I think he's a very hot blooded man who probably had too much to drink and committed the most stupid mistake he could have committed but I do think he regrets his actions deeply edit I also have a neighbor slash family friend who offed his best friend presumably chopped off his body and disappeared with it after a money deal went sour no one has found his body to this day as far as I know a cousin from the side of the family no one gets along with was a very active member of the Bloods notorious gang and admitted to killing several people over the years Crips members and one random drug dealer only reason he wasn't arrested is because no one could actually prove he did it he disposed of his guns often and because no one else actually said anything he died of a heart attack back in 2006 two men who worked for my great uncle killed his wife because she had been poisoning him for months no one knew until it was already too late and that eventually lead up to his death heard the story through my aunt after I asked if she had ever met the uncle who was murder she met him and was quite fond of him and was devastated by his death plus his wife showed up at my grandmother's house begging her for help but my grandmother didn't help her why would she help the woman who murdered her older brother no one knows what happened to the broad exactly but her car was found smashed up on the side of the road near Fontana California another cousin of mine was murdered by her soon-to-be ex-husband because she was leaving after finding out he cheated on they'd been married for almost 20 years and had two daughters the youngest was at home when everything happened they were arguing while my cousin was packing and her ex slammed the bedroom door and give seconds later he shot her in the chest before shooting himself in the head everyone was shocked because this guy wasn't the type of guy who'd expect to do something like this he never hid my cousin he was never abusive towards his daughters he didn't have anger issues wasn't controlling and overall he seemed like a very nice guy they were one of those couples you'd expect to see celebrating their 50th anniversary down the line and finally not anyone blood-related but my boyfriend on his mother's side of the family is related to Jess James and despite my username I'm a 24y slash of female my family murderers sigh my husband he was initially my friend he was always very quiet to the point he would later tell me about to time our friend group was loud together and I couldn't even remember him being there any time we did talk however the conversation was very profound and thought-provoking very different from everyone else in the friend group we ended up hanging out by ourselves a few times conversation was still amazing we shared similar views saw the world in a similar manner never tried to get in my pants very respectful and well-spoken I ended up falling in love still friends though he could tell I was interested in being more than friends by my subtle hints so he decides to drop some truth bombs he is a grape Street crib his father was a gang leader in the early nineties and was prepared to introduce his son into gang life he caught his first body when he was 13 and up until now he is 23 has killed five people he explained these people were pedophiles rapists or people that have posed threat first he was a trauma child his mom abused him and his father was obviously not a good role model he explained how he doesn't want to be that way that his environment shaped him as such leaving him very desensitized to murder this is why he was always so quiet he is [ __ ] nuts also schizophrenic and has Asperger's and doesn't want to have the urge to kill anyone I would refrain from telling him a lot of things in fear he would go after these people going out always made me anxious that someone would try to test him because he is small and quiet it was super stressful to try to get him to relax and not feel like he needed to be on attack mode all the time it was pretty shocking due to the fact I was brought up in an upper-middle class town and never had to really deal with gang life given the circumstances also being in love I decided to overlook the murders I was able to get him out of that mindset and lifestyle with a lot of love and introducing him to new ways of thinking he really is a sweetheart and him and his family are constantly reminding me of their appreciation for my patience and love thank you so much for watching the whole video please leave a
