prying parents have read it what secret of your child did you discover that made you wish you hadn't we adopted one of our kids and he is voracious while the rest of the family is white back when he was in second grade I found a writing assignment that the kids had to do they essentially had to write three things they would wish for if they had a genie one of the things he wrote was I wish I was white that really hit me hard I thought we had done enough to incorporate his racial / cultural background it wasn't something we just ignored it hurt to see that he didn't want to be who he was and that we had something to do with that I hated that he felt that way and I hated that I found it in hindsight however I'm glad I found it it opened up the dialogue even more and our son reveled that he wanted to move somewhere where he wasn't one of the only black kids we did end up moving to a much more diverse area a few years later and I love it here my son is now in middle school and is pretty comfortable talking about racial identity as much as it hurts finding the paper I think it was beneficial to get it out of the open my kids aren't quite old enough to ruin my view of their innocence the time was that not only was my mom coming up the steps but my dad also my dad at the time was close to 300 pounds since then he's lost over fifty five pounds they opened the door jump on the bed and proceeded to do it with my little brother under the bed due to the weight of my dad and mom on the bed his head was slammed into the ground with every thrust poor kid had to endure that for several minutes and had to wait for the two of them to go to the bathroom so he could make his escape he doesn't like to talk about it to this day and I don't think he's told my parents about that all he wanted was to play some candy crush used to torrent born because that was aligned you to do one day I opened my torrent client and see it already downloading several best eality rips I assume it's just the client being spammy and gross so I delete the files and proceed on to my vanilla fake to teat multi gig downloads the next day my dad sits me down and says I should watch out for the upstairs computer because it has been acting up or something says he is aware it has downloaded some gross stuff but he immediately says he knows it wasn't me his confidence that it wasn't me surprises me and that's when I realize it was his I guess he saw that somebody deleted the files and panicked thinking that I was judging him so he had to come up with a story about how the computer does that stuff on its own so I would know it wasn't him if he hadn't said anything that's what I would have assumed my brother was trying to print out some trans porn pictures once and the printer wasn't working when my dad turned the computer on the next day the picture immediately printed headed to all the people think I'm ashamed in this brother is actually me it really wasn't I know the [ __ ] out of this if it were me and I'm pretty open about my sexual preferences I don't have kids but I found out a former roommate had a bizarre fascination with me a few photos of me sleeping and one of my boxes unwashed and stashed away in her room I nope the hell out of there shortly after this is about parents but I don't know when else I'll get to tell one time in high school I came home on a night where regretted it since when I was about 10 why oh I was on my mom's phone and looked at her text messages with my dad she asked him if he wanted her to bring anything home for dinner and he replied [ __ ] never touched my parents phone since not a parent but her child when I was 8 and in the second grade we had a project involving me having to look my dress up online I barely knew how the Internet worked and this was a time before all the censoring of porn from the first page of search engines my district was coming and so one of the things I clicked on was a video a man going to poundtown on my phone she's a good sport though we had a laugh not even really prying but came home from work early one day and heard the shower running in the bathroom my 17 year old son uses then heard some decidedly louder sounds of enjoyment from a female figuring naina wanted to deal with the embarrassment of an interruption I retreated to the living room about 15 minutes later my son and his girlfriend come downstairs and are quite surprised to see me already home figuring this would be a good time to twist the knife a little I said so what were you guys up to in the bathroom together my son stammered out while we are had been in the pool and wanted to wash off the chlorine and we were in a hurry so we went in together but we kept our bathing suits on then his girlfriend looked at him like he was the world's biggest idiot and said that's what you're going to go with he looked at her and said yep that's what happened she looked at me and said okay we are going with his story I told
