OVERNIGHT in USA's Most Haunted Castle (scary)

they literally think this is the most haunted castle in the united states this is the only place i've heard like at this might scream there's times where it's uncomfortable for sure i've never ever had a night like this i've been made a believer by this place wow sarah johnson's room so hundreds of dead bodies have been in that casket right there great we're not leaving until you show us a sign oh my god [Music] why did seth go up there three minutes away from a castle on a giant hill in vermont our buddies josh and seth have done this and they literally think this is the most haunted castle in the united states it's at the top of mountain super creepy and we're literally about to pull up on it josh and seth are right in front of us so we'll see them in a second but check this place out wilson castle wow look at that that's incredible looking what are we in hogwarts or something this is the coolest castle i've seen in a long time dude it's all red and stuff too look at the stained glass right there see how gothic it looks and all rusted it looks so good for being like late 1800s and super haunted right yeah oh for sure we got to see the inside too kind of peaceful but scary at the same time does that make sense but terrifying yes beautifully terrifying hey kobe nice to meet you nice to meet you steve my name is andy and i work here at the castle denise the owner is one of my best friends and i want to thank you guys so much for coming thank you for having a pleasure to have you that's sick my name's steve i'm just a local paranormal investigator we've been coming out here for seven years they're actually one of the first groups i think that ever came out here to investigate in 2014 and we've been back probably almost like 50 times since then wow you're gonna be in for a treat tonight it's a very very cool spot so you guys do the whole equipment investigation type of stuff that's my full-time job do you think it's haunted and we know it's on at this point this is the only place i've heard like a disembodied scream like it was oh man there's times where it's uncomfortable for sure oh sounds good yeah let's take a look around he's sick i feel like we're in hogwarts to be honest that's what i said all right guys so before we go explore the wilson castle we just wanted to give like a quick synopsis of what this place is all about we are at wilson's castle at the top of a mountain in vermont so it's called wilson's castle because those are the current owners and the original owners the ones who built this place also haunted because of a lot of reason we're about to explain here those guys are the johnsons so again the only people you need to know in this story are the johnsons who built it and the wilsons who own it right now the general story starts with the johnsons so there was john johnson who was a doctor best name ever john johnson and he was married to somebody named sarah johnson who was from england and was very very wealthy had a very wealthy background john johnson was not as wealthy so a lot of skepticism as to why they got together this castle itself was a million dollars back in the day 33 million dollars in modern day times sarah johnson was loaded sarah johnson was the one who funded the entire project but john johnson is the guy who made it happen so there's a lot of conspiracies around that say maybe dr john johnson was just using sarah to get the money to build this beautiful thing because as soon as he finished this shortly after sarah johnson ended up dying and john johnson immediately sold it why would he spend so many years of his life so much money with his beloved and just immediately sell off this entire castle it just doesn't make any sense another theory is that sarah's family the rich family found out about john johnson's like conning him basically just using her money and forced them to leave because of heartbreak and all the sadness that she found out her husband was a goddamn con man she died of a heart attack there's even a conspiracy and this one's kind of far-fetched but there's a conspiracy based off of evp captures here that john johnson himself killed his wife he only cared about the money and that's what that's the whole point of this so those two main owners of this place are said to be one of the most active spirits here john johnson roams around this entire place and sarah johnson's room is rumored to be the most active room in the entire house the first wilson whose family name owns the house now built a radio tower not too far away which we'll show you guys soon for not really a known reason like there's not a lot of people around here there's a [ __ ] mosquito on you he built a radio tower and nobody knows why again there's not a lot of people around here but what is a radio tower basically a giant spirit box if you think about it a spirit box is something that uses radio frequencies and the spears can just pull out words that's how they're able to communicate with you you just use a couple of uh spirit boxes right yeah we've used them in the past before there's a rumor that he built this radio tower specifically to attract energy and spirits why because johnson the original owner had a bunch of weird cryptic things hidden around this house like illuminati eyes and like egyptian hieroglyphics he was considered a doctor he was also rumored to be using like hypnosis on his patients and like magic weird things and making like almost experiments why would you go through the trouble of putting all these weird hieroglyphics that had these weird cryptic meanings it just doesn't make any sense unless he was into that type of thing not only did he decorate this whole place kind of like weird and illuminati-esque there's supposedly a lot of secret passageways secret tunnels and dungeons we're going to try to find those tonight so hopefully we can make contact with the johnsons or the wilsons or any other spirits that the radio tower might be bringing in yeah these guys as soon as we walked up said this haunted by way more than just those but i guess i'll find out oh my god this place looks majestic wow now it's safe to like actually walk up next to the window you can see the beautiful like stained glass yeah yeah of course like you couldn't before speaking of how many uh pieces of stained glass are there i read there was like 84. the castle is 13 000 square feet and it's 32 rooms and have you seen anything like paranormal yourself yes i'm not the most in tune to it but i've definitely heard the footsteps there was a vacuum that turned on by itself upstairs last year that was insane trying to clean up the house first night that haunted knights was here honestly like my jaw was on the floor i had never witnessed anything like that before what happened oh god it was the communication with these flashlights on the pool table upstairs the last of 45 like they're chandley yeah look at this channel oh flashlight message you turn that flashlight off real quick it's too bright oh she's trying she's oh my god oh my [ __ ] god dude yeah we did the flashlight method and we tried that pretty much everywhere we go that's a good message it's hit or miss but the stuff we were getting at it was just hitting like crazy i've been made a believer by this place so the structure took two and a half years to do as far as the outside and the roof and then five years for the interior this is the music room the music box has played by itself before oh what [Music] oh my god that comes out in the middle of night i'm right out of here that goes on the middle of the night dude what that's so creepy sounding okay you can stop now please when we were just here a couple weeks ago um we were doing like an estus session so sensory deprivation um and we had two people under and it was like they were having a conversation with each other and they were arguing potentially could have been like about john and his wife that was our first one we did that sort of investigation of the conjuring house if you guys remember wait whoa this is a beautiful room it's my favorite wow yeah like when it's sun like brightens it up yeah this is so nice we have this rug this is our rock they stole this from our house yo wait so we're connected to this castle by some reason no imagine this is always served as an art gallery so the original owner collected fine art with his wife's money isn't that statue back there like that's connected to the world's fair in 1893 it's like original yeah it's redemption castle and the smithsonian actually wanted to buy that statue because of how i've only been able to find three others it was rumored to be a secret passage where they had like a meeting room somewhere underneath the front yard so you would find a trapdoor in here and it would lead you down a little hallway to a big room apparently he just said that they can't find it not even him but they're open to other people trying to find it so we could try to find a secret passage tonight dude if we found that to be history history [Music] wait so there's no ac here oh you don't heat or ace let's see we've been in here in december and you can see your breath inside they used to burn a quart of wood per day in these fireplaces my god that's how much wood she used to have how many fireplaces are there 13 fireplaces our square footage is 13 000. whoa let's go this is where the family that owns the castle lived until 2009. was this where like the johnsons lived as well or this originally was the servant's quarters this area has um much different vibe than the rest of the building this is like the heavy area you just feel uncomfortable back here this area was totally avoided by even us it's an interesting space like you said it's a totally different vibe yeah i could kind of feel that oh hey that was in the museum that's the actual one right yeah if you want a decent night's sleep you would choose this room all the other ones are not decent nicely ah they're a little more it's a little louder with the ghost activity and whatnot this is pretty quiet for in my opinion slept on the ground in here a couple nights and uh have woken up to heavy footsteps right by my head like it shook the floor and moved me away in here quiet in here for a night's sleep usually from this point forward the rooms are just gonna get like more and more creepy the johnsons that were here their two main bedrooms are the next two that we'll go into his master bedroom is the next one this could have been just an offset room from his room it could have been elliot their child's room you had a father and a son never up here taking a tour and there was nobody else up here it was just you three and they were kind of just wandering around taking pictures in the different rooms you know not really paying attention to what they got and so he took one basically from like right here and snapped it this way um again it was a dad and a son and him the only people up here and this is what was in the photo and then in the fireplace oh my god that is so clear oh my god that's she's wearing oh my god so that means she would have been standing like in this doorway or something so this is actually the non-blown up version of the photo oh i see okay it was that far away in the photo yeah and she's wearing that dress so you guys don't know what this dress is like meant for but obviously there's something around here wearing this is denise's great-grandmother's dress and it's a morning dress one you'd wear morning on the loss oh it's actually the same dress wednesday adams wears in the family huh this one right here is mr john johnson's yes the man himself wow [Music] what do you put in here is what what this is where we did the uh the esta session where we sounded like we had two different people arguing oh my god a man and a woman arguing that it's interesting that it's in his room he is known to haunt this entire castle as well correct cool nice sarah johnson's room this is probably the room that i think people are most afraid of they like in here does it usually smell like that no i never saw that is this her no that's the wilson current we actually don't have a picture of sarah and i've never seen one anyone's guess as to what she look like is better than mine but this was sarah's bed and dresser the original oh yeah i heard something online to where like people have been able to see her in this mirror in her room oh my god what same dad's same son that day i took this picture this is actually before the other one how did wait so we captured two pictures and there was no women up here so they are right here yeah and then she's behind there's the raw photos that's the raw photo right there he's taking a picture of his kid and then he's looking about looking out these windows wow and if you look you can see like the bench and everything's still here so she was somehow here there's the other bench right there this is the other one so you can see it's the same kind of area from where we are now perhaps this girl worked for a halloween event yeah see there's a doll that existed there uh-huh oh my god wait look at this what this guy right there and then another one right there do you see two people right there and right there so where's that in comparison right there like right here what about the windows those two in the same area people since the 1970s have reported to the different tour guides feeling a certain way and hear a heaviness or a sadness that they don't feel anywhere else but also seeing a lady looking out these windows everybody is kind of falling underneath this very controlling female spirit there was claim to us to be an entrance portal into this closet okay yeah what is what does that mean an entrance portal will be an entrance into the spirit realm the exit portal is between the two bedrooms in the front of the house the whole idea is like they said there's the idea of a vortex in here so for whatever reason this is the easiest place for them to manifest and enter our reality or our world for some reason is in this area you get a lot of like spikes on emf detectors and male meters and kind of stuff in here so there is some kind of weird energy charge in this room people that have investigated you know prisons and hospitals and all that kind of stuff get scared in this room which is weird because it's just a bright cheery pink room yeah it just seems counterintuitive but and now you can't smell that lilac at all right no but i i normally never smell anything like that whoa we both walked in smelling that johnson's had two children and only one survived after six months from what they're gathering they believe that sarah is still here or her spirit is here mourning the loss of that child or there's something that's keeping them here that's what we've learned about like places we've gone to in the past is that some spirits even though yeah they don't die in a certain place they will go to what was most important to them in their lifetime it's interesting so even though she may not have necessarily loved it here she might be looking or waiting for something here true or she thinks she needs to keep control over the castle the god and jury was a good family friend he worked here for many years him and denise were cleaning in the spring getting ready to open oh so this was recent this was in the 90s they were joking she was cleaning the windows down here and he was right here cleaning this banister yeah and she said that her grandfather if she didn't die would come back and kill her he laughed at the joke fell over and died of a heart attack right there what and we fell over right here not down here literally right here oh what just like immediately immediately laughed and then went over he's definitely one of the spirits that is here the guy who had a heart attack or the wilsons as well the wilsons are here absolutely colonel wilson's here his daughter blossom a few other members of the wilson family but they're not as prominent who was this guy again you said the the cleaner but like what was his name name was dick edinger who was kind of the wilson's right hand man somebody from each family basically at least one person is still here so you have the johnsons then you have the wilson's and then you have somebody who is here you know even in the 90s you can play pool too if you want oh i mean the pool balls will not stay in the pocket so they'll fall right out somebody took a pool ball a few years ago someone took one they mailed it back with a note describing that it's ruining their life and they needed you to get out of their house no way that's why you do not take from haunted places don't steal to whom this may concern i'm returning this eight ball to you it was borrowed from the wilson castle pool table my hundreds and hundreds of times this was pre-body bag they would transport your body in this from the place of death to the funeral home so hundreds of dead bodies have been in that casket right there correct it's now one of our iconic pieces for you know the paranormal investigations and stuff so it's legit very creepy so me and you who's going to sleep in it sleep in it or just it's laying it their rounds we saw someone look like they had a lantern on or a flashlight they walked all the way around just walked that way yeah he comes inside because we were packing up for the night and he's like hey man we left a light on or something upstairs there's a light we saw and i was like well go turn it off and he was 13 so he's like i'm not going to work so i was like all right whatever i'll go up there and uh so i came up and as i came around the corner on the stairs up here i actually saw legs and a lantern walked down that hallway and i stopped and i watched him the light went out it was gone there's no noise like some shadow clears it or like a clear like human it was a shadow figure but i could see it looked like again like a lantern about waist height and it was illuminating the legs and it's not a shadow being cast around the third floor you know there's no way there's somebody casting shadow walking around corners in a hallway yeah so that was pretty crazy it was one of the clearest shadow figures i've ever seen until the next year looked up into this room and i saw somebody standing here i saw him walk by these first three windows right here i was standing right down there by the front they walked right by here so i actually walked these guys they were up here with the group and i said hey somebody from your group snuck away we tried to keep everybody contained just you know cut down contamination i said somebody snuck away from your group they're in the tower no there's 10 people here everybody's in our group and i said well i just saw somebody walk by the windows like go yell at whoever it is basically check on them it's like all right so i waited a minute and then i watched him walk in and walk by these windows again and i walk into my side who was it he said i don't know i haven't made it to the tower yet [Music] what happened you watched someone go up here wow this is the attic up here oh man wait am i going first you have the which is going to be even better for us tonight it's creepy that's it one thing i wanted to ask you really quick that we didn't see on the tour initially john johnson had like a bunch of like stained glass that had like an illuminati eye downstairs above the coat of arms window yeah is an all-seeing eye in the transom and it's watching the front door there's so many different symbols within here so many anomalies that don't make sense so it's hard to really speculate maybe like even cold stuff could have happened yeah well let's go let's go look at that symbol right yeah let's go check that out so there's the eye and it has rays like shooting from the top you guys can see that barely so the all-seeing eye he says looking over the front door if you look really closely at that eye it actually looks like it could be the eye of horus which is actually an egyptian symbol it was adopted as a symbol of like occult magical power and protection and healing and dr john johnson was a doctor i have that same one with ray shooting up right there on my own we have no idea what this guy was into could have been a cult it could have been illuminated we have no idea but hopefully we more oh here we go we're with the crew haunted knights they do a lot of events with ghost hunting and stuff like that and they are the real experts here they have a lot of equipment as do we so we're just going to walk around go to some of these haunted rooms that's learned about in this tour and see if we can capture anything whoa whoa whoa whoa are you saying we're not real experts kobe brock the [ __ ] bro you know i just learned i'm actually really music box was yesterday i'm a little upset yeah dude you've been offending some people with that we're experts at ghost hunting and we're going to be doing with other experts nice okay all right so it looks like these guys brought cases of equipment well you got music boxes oh my god sp7 can you kind of like explain to us a few of these pieces of equipment yeah maybe your favorites out of the 400 things you've brought does this one do that's crazy that looks like a bait bro it's a paranormal vape yeah you let the ghost hit it this one is cool this is an obvious lovely spot so it's got a dictionary of words built into it basically it's a phonetic generator the theory is the spirits can manipulate the mf level to choose where to communicate with you it'll say it out loud and show it up on the screen so here we got a couple of mill meters so they do temperature and emf and this one also has a rem pod feature built into it all right so that you can get them so if anything touches the top of that it's going to light up it should light up make noise uh these are both rem pods same thing light up make noise the good old paranormal music boxes see this is what we need so when you turn it on it'll calibrate and play music and then once it calibrates anything that moves in front of it will set it off it plays a creepy song of course that's crazy why would it play such a creepy song dude so that when you move your hand in front of it motion activated then we have of course the panasonic drc oh wait whoa that's the one you got josh right oh yeah so this is a digital voice recorder um it's an older model so again these weren't made for ghost hunting this one's cool the older models are voice activated when you're asking the questions you're giving five to ten seconds or whatever in between the questions if nothing's being picked up those questions should go one after another when you play it back because it's not picking up a voice but a lot of times these do pick up voices in between and you'll hear them and so those are cool because these voice recording devices can pick up things that we can't hear with the human ear exactly different frequencies different wavelengths there's times when i've been completely alone in buildings and got in clear as they words when i was the only one they're not talking there's no way it's recording internal mechanisms and saying full sentences saying get out anything like that um these things are are the best because you can also do instant playback you don't have to listen to an hour-long recording you can listen to a 30-second recording because there's nothing on there holy [ __ ] that was on camera the conversation the casket is where colby's sleeping i did not agree to that so guys we are going up to the casket room the one that colby was in earlier to start the seance oh my god is right there that's batman dude it's batman whoa [ __ ] race all right questions we're gonna see if we can connect with anything and apparently there's a portal where spirits can come in and out right in that closet and off camera we've gotten this music box to go off a so much can we give a quick little recap there music box going off noises and evps about how there's seven people in the room we went over and then we were talked to a child through flashlights for a long time 30 full minutes and then we moved down here the picture and then sarah talking to us telling us to go downstairs and then she basically just put on a show song seeing shadow figures yeah this is my first time ever seeing orbs in person not on the camera my first time seeing the music box and my first time hearing at evp that clear we did get a lot of stuff this is the first night that we've experienced such a drastic change in the type of activity and the vibe in the building to like a switch [Music] that's a big statement right there against their wishes it's time to stay overnight i think you and uh seth need to play a game of pool and see who's going to sleep alone upstairs there's a little wager put on going down sam his life's almost like i'm not losing this his whole life's on the line [Music] you know this whole time i felt like extremely [ __ ] anxious and uncomfortable and when they started saying my name and [ __ ] and i kept seeing things like i don't see [ __ ] often we don't have another place to go to i know and that's the thing like there there's no option yeah it's it's 2 a.m already there's not going to be anything there's no hotels anyways we can always like sleep in the same room though we're going to have to boys we're not staying oh we didn't tell you what just us four yeah what else then you're not staying we can't where are you where are you going we're going home yeah for real wait this is not even like [ __ ] up or anything like how we only us four in the [ __ ] whole castle yeah yeah the two are at the homestead at nine in the morning and that's a three-hour tour so yeah we're out i don't need that i don't need that i didn't that's weird you didn't drop this can i talk to you in the other that wasn't my talking to you guys now like again like we said earlier we just want to do these paranormal investigations like ask a way to prove to ourselves that ghosts are real and approved to you guys we want to hear your opinions too i was impressed with how scary this place was yeah it did scare me i think we caught a lot of things that i think a lot will make a lot of viewers believe and i hope we can make it through the night because now we've provoked all the spirits and uh it's just gonna be us for you guys like watching these ghost investigations when we stay overnight at haunted places please give
