alright y'all so it's been weeks and you guys have been asking if this has worked or not you guys oh my gosh it does before you go run out and purchase it waits for the full review of what happened why wore a waist trainer for five weeks hi you guys my name is michelle mcdaniel this is my page my thoughts will probably offend you and today we are talking about while reviewing that product waist trainers that we see all over Instagram all of these fitness model all these fitness accounts are promoting these waist trainers or these bands that you work out with that will help you shrink your waist and I decided to do a five-week my own five-week study or experiment and see what happens to my waist because a lot of them make quite a bit of claims that I wanted to see were true because in 2018 it is all the race you get this piece of fabric squeeze all your body fat and internal organs into this and then walk around in public and that's exactly why I did it for five whole weeks five whole weeks for you guys and no I'm not some paid into the model I'm not even a paid youtuber this video is not sponsored this is hell my opinion and experience now before I get started I just wanted to say before someone in the comment section says that's not a real waist trainer I know there's two types of waist trainers there's the corset type and then there's the B the ones that you that are stretchy and they don't have the the little losing my train of thought they don't have the little buckle thingies in the front so these companies with the velcro claims to do the same exact thing that the UM weight trainers with the buckles say they do so the second thing I wanted to tell you guys is how I wore it so the instructions say or the website says that you only have to wear it when you workout so that's exactly what I did I didn't wear throughout the day like the hooks waist trainers say you could wear it throughout the day and slowly increase through time these they are at least the one that I got mine from said to wear it when I workout I personally didn't see anything on the website that said wear it throughout the day for added smaller waist results so I wanted to do the exact way that said on the website to see if I get the results that they claim so I only wore it during my workout plus there is no way that this shake that whereas double XL men's t-shirts right when I get home is the ones who wear something constricting and tight around my waist just lounging around my house anyone else on here right when you get home just take off all your clothes rip off your bra and then jump into a huge t-shirt and sweat pants because I'm all over that alright so how did it feel tight very tight so you have to keep in mind that I have someone that wear sports bras only in the gym I don't like to feel constricted I mean 97% of my wardrobe or a crop top I do not like things around my stomach so when I first wore it it was uncomfortable as hell like I did not like it and I was like I said because five weeks doesn't seem like a lot for me because I know five weeks isn't enough you know it's not a lot of time so I was like maybe I could just like not do this experiment and then I already put on line and it was too late so I was kind of stuck in it so I was like all right I'll do it so first week it was very uncomfortable I knew it I could I could get through it like with all my other workouts except for late-day for some reason probably because I'm like shifting around and everything I just didn't like how I like dip dug into my my skin so all the only times I wouldn't work for that first week was on my leg day but then I would wear it like either in my morning cardio like that day with my leg day or after I would do my leg routine and then during my cardio time so I still wore it every single day well five days a week on the days that I would work out just not four mile a day the first week and then the second week I actually got used to it and then I was fine oh like well I'm the only time that I wouldn't do it is on my cool like during my core routines which I do every single day so I would take it off for my core routine then put it back on for cardio or whatever exercise machine that I'm doing and the reason for that is because I just want to make sure that my own body is is working my core by myself even though you work your core through pretty much any kind of movement but when I'm isolating it and working my abs and and and engaging my core I want to make sure that I'm doing it you know at least about myself without that thing that's straightening me up like this let's take you to my next point that it really does help the posture it's really just a more feminine weight belt pretty much more feminine more appealing look for a woman rather than having a big bulky belt around your waist so it does help me help it did help me with my posture I notice I was way more engaged and just more cautious of my back while I was doing like my deadlift and on the website it does say it will improve or help you with your posture so that part is true sweating on the website and it says you will sweat more like buckets of sweat while you are otherwise waist trainer and us definitely - I definitely SWAT more like I said I'm not used to wearing something around my stomach so I definitely noticed that I sweat more than normal and now the moment you have been waiting for the results I got from this before we get to that one more thing I noticed while I was wearing a waist trainer you've been following me for a while or checked out some of my videos you know that I have endometriosis which means I have really really bad cramps I noticed when I would wear the waist trainer especially during my very explosive type cardio like my sprints definitely during my uphill sprint I noticed that I would get some cramps in my back that felt like I was about to start my period and one time I actually ended up like on the floor and I think it's just because I was about to start but I would get those pains a little bit like not even near my period so I'm pretty sure it's probably because of the pressure of squeezing our internal organs together um but I haven't looked into that yet so I will you know for low results you've already seen the picture if you are dedicated to me and have followed me on Instagram so I ended up losing about two inches around the upper part of my waist and about a little bit over an inch over my lower tummy now if your privacy my thoughts will probably offend you notification gang intent then you know that I have been in a competition prep for my first bikini competition so a lot of this loss is from what do you think diet now I wasn't going to start my calm pitch and proper monitoring monitoring my diet from home kitchen prep until after this project but then a day after two days sorry two days after I started the waist trainer project I changed my mind because of something that happened so the first day that I started wearing it I strapped it around I went to the gym I worked out for about an hour and a half came back I was like to my boyfriend do I look smaller and he's like actually you do like significantly smaller and so I was curious so the next day I measured around this part of my waist and I measured around this part of my waist as well about two inches off of my upper waist like above my belly button and then an inch and a half around my lower waist on my around my belly button so I hold like a bunch of my clients it isn't knowing oh my god that means it works it worked right at work works as I take out there like credit card ready to like purchase whatever we turn them at I purchase and I'm like no do you really think that in about an hour and a half you're going to lose an inch or two of pure body fat of any body fat for that matter around joist an hour and a half let's think of this scientifically logically and just as a smart individual answer the question please don't say yes you've come too far from this especially if you are a a subscriber we know that that's not body fat so what was it that I lost it was it was water which is what the the website and I said you're gonna sweat a lot and I did I sweat a lot so I mean I can feel it as I was working out I had to keep tightening the waist trainer because it was just coming off so weight was trapping the water with absolutely the water we not the fat water weight so a couple days after using the waist trainer I was like I'm literally going to just be losing water way as a personal trainer I personally know is not going to be cinching my waist except for right after my workout I'm just gonna be losing water weight so I was like I could waste my time for five weeks you know showing that this is not going to work or I could at least get you know started on the competition prep and have a nice prep that's nice and slow so that I'm not rushing you know by the end and I could have a nice peaceful CREP now at this moment I'm sure a lot of you guys are saying well then your experiment is flawed excuse you rude I'm flawless my Wiggum Oh snacks table just getting the Sun it's a weave so personally I don't think it's bought because the website says it's supposed to give me an outward glass figure right so not just make my way smaller but give me that hourglass figure just like the hook waist trainer does it if you didn't see my last video the hook waist trainer shifts around your organs and squishes it together so that you can get that tiny waist site we we see and apparently if people love on Instagram and they did really bring my waist smaller after my workouts I lost all that waterway because of all the water you know that you retain and here but then the moment that I drink and eat by the way eat six to seven meals a day with a gallon of water then it comes back so does this work well the website said it makes you sweat it does does it shrink your waist yes for a small amount of time does it give you an hourglass figure personally I think my waist even though it did get smaller I do have abs and you can see but it still has that boxy figure it doesn't go it I don't think my waist is snatched you know like you see with those girls at the tiny waist like it doesn't look like it gives me that right here like it's more [ __ ] and I've been doing everything right I lost body fat around you know everywhere on my body and as you can see around my waist when you look at the pictures but I still don't have the like that hourglass shape that the thing I mean look it looks it looks boxy like it normally does like I I'm a lean person but I don't have that just it's like I said in the last video genetics play a huge part in this my mom has very skinny but she has a boxy weight the work yes I mean you'll split out water but that doesn't mean your sweating out fat you can't sweat out fat by the way just so you know so it works and so you decide to eat and drink it unfortunately most human kind of have to eat and raiment to live and unfortunately unfortunately most people who seek out these types of miracle products don't eat healthier on a calorie deficit so most people who use this are just shoving their fatness to this contraption while still eating crappy when you could just not wear this fix your diet start working out and you'll lose body fat like I did instead of just losing water so my opinion on this as of right now is all it did was help me lose water weight for about an hour until I ate and drink it didn't give me that snatched weight like Kim Kardashian like it said that I would and I lost body fat because I put in the work to be at a calorie deficit make smarter choices and I'm working out to be able to get to my goals not because of this thing now my experiment is not over me as a personal trainer I know that five weeks is not enough time to give something a chance we see these four to five week diets and then people you know they stop because they didn't get these amazing results so I always tell my clients you know four to five weeks that's not enough time to look like a fitness model so I'm gonna give it a little bit more time I'm going to be the nice sweet individual that I am and give it more of a chance like I said I am prepping for a bikini competition and I need that tiny waist to be able to look bikini ready according you know did so Kamiya will give me a far waist like the website set it's not really gonna hurt me to wear it but it'll give me more time to see if it works and then I'll be able to tell you guys about it I'll have about 12 weeks of continuing exactly what I'm doing right now and yet I will be losing like that because I'm on a specific training routine I'm on a specific path to get me to that stage right look as much as I can and but what I want to do is compare my old competition front picks because I used to do figure so I was a lot leaner has been four figure you have to be leaner for bikini I can be a little softer and we can compare and see if because I've always had I've never had a waist that goes like this really and we'll compare to see if you know being leaner and not wearing this if I have a smaller more cinched waist fault by wearing the waist trainer during my workout and the Kamiya we'll have another chance about 12 weeks type come back home and then we'll do a little like try on haul and I'll show you guys everything that works I think I might have my boyfriend see how he does pick me out a couple outfits and see how possibly can be felt is extremely important and we only get one body for this before we only get one body why not take care of it and fill it with the hot cheetos occasionally just sometimes that's
