hallelujah praise god thank you father thank you father thank you father it's such a blessing and a privilege to be able to be with you this evening uh isn't it good to be able to come together in the building and have a service praise god hallelujah the scripture says he that endures to the end shall be saved uh you just got to make up your mind we're not turning back we're not giving up how many would say i'm going all the way i'm going all the way hallelujah come on say it out loud i'm going all the way all the way all the way you can be seated uh that what does that mean all the way well i'm i'm not quitting i'm not giving up we're not trying this we're doing this right we're doing this if there was anything better i might check it out but if there's nothing better right there is no one better there is nothing even close right the lord is it living for him serving him following him he is the answer and he has all the answers praise god hallelujah i'm just checking you out just a moment just just see it but i i just know as i'm looking at you that uh the lord's answered prayers right and met needs and sustained you is that right i'm after time and situation after situation thing after thing the psalmist said if it had not been for the lord i would have fallen and not risen again but he has sustained me don't you like that word he has sustained me even in trouble hallelujah and his grace is sufficient it is enough and it is more than enough to quicken us strengthen us i can do all things not just in my effort but in him in in his strength in the strength of the lord and his anointing well let's let's pray one more prayer and the bible said you know pray without ceasing so it's we can just keep on praying prayers and he keeps on answering them believing that you will hear not from me but you'll hear from him right how many believe you can hear from the lord something that would just answer questions that would that would just maybe give you the uh understanding of something you hadn't you've been looking for for some time uh and or prepare you for what's coming up because the lord knows father all of us look to you our eyes are on you and we ask you for utterance as only you can give and ears that can hear we ask for answers we ask for direction we ask for guidance we ask for the quickening and anointing of your holy spirit and the manifestations of your spirit exactly what you know is best and we need right now and we know you hear our prayer and so we know you grant our request and so we thank you for it in advance right now in jesus name somebody say thank you lord thank you thank you for answers thank you for hearing thank you for help thank you lord thank you lord thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you you know there's a phrase that uh the spirit of god said through paul in the book of acts he was about to go and and he had been warned and but actually prepared that uh he was going to have trouble when he got to jerusalem but he said none of these things move me hallelujah neither count i my life dear unto myself that i may finish my course with joy i can finish the ministry he gave me and my course with joy did you hear those words finish my course with joy that means you're going out with a shout out not a whimper huh you know sometimes people are saying oh lord come back oh please come come today come today because i owe money and i've i've got things that you know just come today and they're really looking for a bailout of a troubled church but the lord's returning for a glorious victorious church that's what he wants that's what he wants he wants us to be expecting him looking for him with our foot on the devil's neck come on shout him to victory and even if you've been you know dragging a little bit you can get edified you can get built up you can get quickened by his spirit and if you finish your course with joy the joy of the lord is your strength that means you finish it strongly not weakly you finish it strongly say it out loud i'm going out with a shout out i'm not i'm not finishing with a whimper i'm going out with a shower hallelujah yes you can because greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world praise god would you look in the scriptures please this evening to the book of first corinthians the lord i believe prompted me on this verse first corinthians the 13th chapter the great what we call the love chapter talking about the love of god and its characteristics and its qualities and he says in verse 4 first corinthians 13 4. king james says charity but it's the word for love love suffers long and is kind now you got you got to keep those two together there's a lot of folks that put up with stuff a long time but they're not kind about it while they're putting up with it and uh but but the love of god is and and love envies not because love cares about the other person it doesn't matter if the other person got 10 times what i've got if i care about them i'm glad they got it right but if i'm envious it's because i'd rather they're doing without it than me that's not nice right can you see that that's acting like an unsaved person and faith says well great that they they're doing so good doesn't mean if they have 10 doesn't mean i can't have one right the lord is able to to do the same thing for me or greater for me but if i care about them i'm going to rejoice that they're doing well right and if they're way out ahead of me then have some humility and say hey tell me how you did that right let me let me learn let me grow show me tell me give tell me that testimony again so um it doesn't end it doesn't vaughn itself is not puffed up doesn't behave itself unseemly seeks not our own it's not easily provoked thinks no evil rejoices not in iniquity but rejoices in the truth man there's a seminar in each one of those phrases but in verse 7 love bears all things or bears up and under through all things it believes we might sit like this through everything and it keeps hoping and expecting through everything endures through everything love never fails hallelujah that's the phrase was quickened to me today love never failed say that out loud love never fails now sometimes i think we've taken that phrase at least in our circles word and faith circles and we we've emphasized the english word fail but really that word is many other translated many other places in the same king james bible translated fall fall or fall down that's interesting isn't it and to get the understanding just keep reading you know so many so many doctrines would have been altered if if folks would just read the couple of verses before that verse and a couple of verses after that verse well in verse 8 he said love never fails but whether there be prophecies they shall fail whether there be tongues they will cease whether there be knowledge it shall vanish away let me read the the amplified translation of this he said verse 8 love never fails never fades out becomes obsolete or comes to an end and i believe if you look up the words that's a good rendering of that that the love of god one of the big things that's emphasized here is it it's never going away it's never going to the love of god is never going to fade now never is a long time open up your spirit to what the lord saying about this and it's going to minister strongly to you tonight the love of god god himself is love and when you're born again his love is shed abroad in your heart by the holy spirit that's one of the main indicators that you have been born again that you've passed from death unto life because you love you love the brethren and this love never ends it's a never ending ever lasting eternal love love is such a powerful thing because when you're talking about real love you're talking about god you're talking about eternal things and the devil hates it so much that over the centuries he has defiled the word love he has distorted the word love he has twisted it until people you know they they use the word love about everything you know i they love sports they love their car they love pizza they you know and the lord helped me to see some years ago that that is not a proper use for the word that the word uh if you understand it we should we should use the word love sparingly and we shouldn't use it concerning things at all i changed my vocabulary i don't love a car i don't love a house i don't love things i certainly don't love money and i don't love food hallelujah uh-oh huh it's too strong it's too strong of a word if i know what i'm talking about i love god god loves me and i love people are y'all with me and i don't love things i i appreciate things i can enjoy things i'm thankful for things but i don't love them the scripture said covetousness is idolatry and if you care too much about things you'll go too far to get them you understand what i'm saying and things and money are not eternal houses cars clothes jewelry food not eternal and if we are thinking right then we will be aware of things that are not as valuable and that don't last very long compared to the things that are eternal and when you walk by faith you don't look at the things that are seen is that right you're not focusing on the things that are seen why because it doesn't mean you don't see them you don't know that they're there you can't use them you do you live in this scene natural world but walking by faith means you are aware that the unseen things are so much more valuable than the seen things because all of this is going away soon it's all going to be gone i mean even the the planet itself i mean the elements are going to melt with fervent heat people talk about saving the planet the planet is not going to be saved it's not going to make it through this transition it has been so corrupted and defiled by sin and the curse that the lord is the creating new heavens and a new earth wherein dwell righteousness glory to god but we look not at the things that are seen but at the things that are not seen because the things and see why why are we not focusing on the things that are seen because the things that are unseen are temporal they are temporary very very temporary everything down here everything down here is like a gallon of milk what do you mean it's got a date on it right i mean saying a gallon of milk is only good for so long is that right you better use it while it's good because soon and very you can't just let it sit there for five years and be okay and everything down here is that way you better use it look at your neighbor help them out say you better use it you better use it you see you see people they they save the good dishes they hadn't used them in 30 years but we're saving them for what who the scripture says we brought nothing into this world and it is certain that we're not taking anything out of here as far as any material things like one fellow said you never saw a hearse pulling a u-haul you cannot take anything with you and none of it's going to survive what's coming nothing i know raymond years ago when i was during the time i was an instructor there were over at the nanowski building one day and uh some new students were there they were all fired up about some things and and they were talking to each other and talking loud i was trying to eat a sandwich and you couldn't help but hear them i mean they weren't trying to be quiet about it and um they were testifying about things that god had given them well one guy um he he kind of went beyond it he wasn't really testifying he's kind of bragging about all the stuff he had and of course you know that doesn't that's not necessarily an indicator of faith because you have a lot of stuff we don't know how you got that right there's lots of different ways you can get stuff doesn't mean that you got it through faith and anyway he just kind of took over the conversation and the other guys because because he his stuff was a lot more expensive and a lot bigger and and what than theirs was and and it was you could tell it wasn't a good the thing had gone the wrong direction and finally one young guy said well okay so what your pile of ashes will be bigger than mine [Laughter] well it is all going to burn is that right it's all going up in flames it's going to melt with fervent heat but not the love of god what we have in us of him the love that he has for us and the love that he has put in us when we were born again that will never fade what did the amplified say it never fades out it it never becomes obsolete it never comes to an end a billion years from now a billion there will be no update going there's a a version 202.0 of the love of god and we're going to replace your old love that you've had for the last billion years no never never will fade out never will become obsolete never will come to an end that's what it means when it says love never fails let me keep reading he said as for prophecy it will be fulfilled and passed away every prophecy that's in the the written word of god will come to pass and every prophecy that was ever spoken truly by the spirit of god through any man or woman throughout the generations they will all come to pass but there come a point when they have when they have all come to pass and been completely fulfilled and it said as for tongues they will cease there'll come a there'll come a time when we won't need to speak in tongues anymore and we'll talk about that maybe a little bit more in a bit but what's the part you have to look at the purpose of speaking in tongues now why do i need to be able to speak in tongues now it's because of how little we know we he goes on to say that we we know in part and didn't the bible say in romans 8 that the spirit helps our weaknesses and what's the number one weakness the next one he mentions we don't know what to pray for as we ought and so when you get to a place where you don't even know what you should be praying about concerning this thank god by the utterance of the holy spirit you can speak in a tongue unknown to you then it's not unknown to god it's not unknown maybe to even angels or some men or women but you're able to pray beyond your limited understanding hallelujah pray out speak out declare decree things that you would have no way of knowing yet just in we're in the early stages of our development when the scripture calls us his little children it's not a figure of speech this is where we are in our development we we are so this is so early in our existence in fact this life is the shortest thing we will ever do it's the briefest thing the shortest thing we will ever do and and just remind yourself of how god perceives the past of time didn't the scripture say with the lord a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day and the psalmist said to the lord a thousand years is like the passage of a watch in the night now you were around last night this is not a trick question you were around last night huh how long does that seem to you last can you remember last night do we need to have a prayer line right now you remember last night how does that seem to you that's how god sees the last millennia the last thousand years is like last night to him and so there are these vast stretches of time before i mean before and beyond and we think 50 years is a long time we think a hundred years is a really long time but it's a tenth of last night if you're perceiving god the reason we think it's a long time is because we're so so young now you know yourself when you were 13. well let's back up a little bit you were six and you found out in january it's going to be a whole nother year until christmas again how long does that seem huh they're like how long a year how how long does a year seem to a six-year-old or a five-year-old it seems like millennia right but you know fast forward to 50 years old i'm still having to remind myself and i'm older than 50 but i'm still have to remind myself it's 20 21. i'm like i just got used to writing 20 20. the other day i was looking at something i had to know i thought now what do you mean 2021 this is already happening and phyllis said well it is 20 21 oh oh yeah right right and you'll hear people say all the time it seems like the older they get it seems like time is passing by more quickly well not it's your perception of it what if you've been around for millennia then how long does a hundred years seem to you know a thousand years will seem like when we're with god for a while and and long enough we'll begin to perceive time in the same way and so why am i talking about this this life is not all there is [Applause] this life is faith school and faithfulness school huh it is time for us to for god to find out who are his he's giving us opportunity everybody on the planet all the billions on the planet have an opportunity to choose him or not to believe in him or ignore him and uh this is a thing that some people don't even like to think about but he knows there comes a point in every being's existence where they're not going to change elsewise there couldn't be any just eternal judgment let me give you a prime example the enemy has been around a long time the devil has and all the history of this planet that we know anything about he's been involved in lying and deceiving mankind right revelation talks about he he deceived the whole planet well if you read the book of revelation you find there's a time coming soon where a big angel is going to come down and grab him and put a chain on him [Applause] and all the christians say yay [Applause] hallelujah just just one angel the devil ain't all he's i'm telling you one angel gonna grab him chain him throw him into the abyss and shut the door and there's not a thing he can do to stop it he can fuss cuss kick all he wants to ain't going to slow it down and he's going to be there a thousand years out of circulation thank god and afterwards he's going to be let out for a little time and you know what he does after a thousand years he goes straight immediately to trying to deceive beings and human beings and create and incite a rebellion against god what do you see in there he's never going to change he hasn't changed in all these millennia we don't even know how many he if you gave him another you know trillion years he's never going to change so do you want him living beside you in heaven so hell was created for the devil and his angels the scripture said and if it was up to god all the human beings would be with him but if they if you don't want god there's only one other place to go and there comes a point where with human beings too they're not going to change now i don't know when that is and you don't know when that is but god does and people are given myriad of opportunities most of them in their lifetime and there'll come a point where uh they're not going to change but you and i have already made our choice you should be happy about this i mean when the disciples came to jesus after exercising authority over demons and disease and just seeing things happen right and left he said i'm going to paraphrase he said that's great that's great but let me tell you what you really ought to be excited about your name is written in the lamb's book of life hallelujah or as philippians says your citizenship is in heaven [Applause] why should you be so much more excited about that because this is that long and that is forever forever [Applause] in the ages to come he's going to reveal and manifest and show to us the exceeding riches of his grace he's never going to run out god's never going to run out that's never going to run out after millennia he'll say because the bible says we're going to be living with him and after millennia he'll say you like this we'll go oh father and and you know you'll be tempted to say it couldn't get any better than this but you'll have learned better by then and he'll say he'll say you like to he said look at this and he'll unfold and we'll all go oh wow and a little bit later on he'll say you like that look at this look at this and he'll unfold throughout the ages to come he's going to keep manifesting that showing revealing the exceeding riches of his grace his love which is his essence who and what he is and he's placed this in us never fails somebody said never fails it never fails listen to the complete jewish bible translation it says love never ends prophecies will pass tongues will cease knowledge will pass for our knowledge is partial and our prophecy partial but when the perfect comes the partial will pass we're in the partial right now you know the spirit of god said through paul on this we know in part well if he knew in part what do most believers know just part of the part of the part what does that mean there is so much you don't know and you got to remind yourself for that and show some humility see you see people right and left not too long back i was dealing with some folk you know mad and upset with god they're gonna they're gonna quit going to church and uh while before that there's some people that left the ministry and you see this too often why why well i just i just don't understand i just don't understand and i and i did this and i did that and this didn't happen and this didn't work well here remember there's so much you don't know right remind yourself there's so come said it out loud there's so much so much we don't know i don't know if we know in part that means their parts we don't know and that leaves gaping holes in our understanding you know job in the book of job deals with this i know years ago i used to read the book of job and just kind of scratch my head on it and not to say i understand all of it now but after a while the lord pointed a thing out to me that just opened the whole thing up uh job and his three friends debated about why for what 20 something chapters right why this happened why this didn't happen how come why why god did this why god didn't do this why why why and job started out good but he actually made some big mistakes he that he had to repent for by the end of the book and the biggest was he accused god of being unfair have you read it or not if not read it looking for this and you'll see what i'm talking about he and at one point he said god's not a man i'm going to paraphrase can i paraphrase a little bit god's not a man he he don't know what i'm going through he he can't even relate i i wish there was somebody that understood god and understood me and and there was a days man betwixt us that could put a hand on both of us and what's he doing he's praying for jesus come on can you see this he didn't i doubt job knew anything about the devil we'd have to add to the scriptures to say he did and uh but uh after all of this debate and all of this god showed up on the scene in a whirlwind he appeared and and part of what job had said i wish god had set me a date and let me come before him and let me talk to him and he would talk to me and tell me what's going on here and i'm sure he never expected for the almighty himself not an angel showed up in a whirlwind and said somebody asked to talk to me who is this that darkens counsel without knowledge knowing you're talking and you don't know anything what who is this what and so uh he said you got something to say and job just goes and so he says well i got a few questions for you were you there when i laid the foundations of the planet were you were you there when i stretched out the heavens where do you understand how this works and he goes on for what a whole chapter or two and the answer to every question with job is no no i wasn't there no i have no clue no always wondered about that no no no no why why do that and you know what the what's not in the text the lord never explained to him what they were debating about he never in the text he didn't he didn't explain why this or why not that why because that wasn't the issue you know what the big issue is what you do when you don't know why oh come on or y'all with me or not this is one of the biggest things you'll ever deal with in your life because this is when faith is tried what you do or don't do when you don't know why and what the lord was saying to job is if you can't answer in god's mind these elementary questions if you don't know the answer to any of these basics how are you going to challenge me that i'm not fair when you don't even know what happened or what's going on i want you to say it out loud there is so much i haven't understood that i haven't seen but faith is not based on understanding of everything faith is a choice well come on church faith is a choice about the character of the one you trust oh come on can you see this that that's the big deal it's about who you believe god is and what kind of a person and being he is is he is everybody awake i hope you're awake is he a good god [Applause] [Music] because i'm telling you the devil fights this every day he fights this every subtle crafty way he can to try to insinuate to try to suggest to try to question if he's so good what about this if he's so faithful what about this what about this and there's a thousand questions you don't know the answer to and the devil knows that and if he can get you engrossed in that ignorance then darkness begets more darkness and you just get more you'll get hopelessly confused well none of that's the answer anyway i said did you notice all of that said and done job his three friends uh all the debates all the stuff and god shows up in person and speaks but he never answered the question why he never got into their debate and discussion he went to the the core issue come on can you see that which is what do you do when you don't know why and here's what will get you through the toughest things in life i mean the biggest thing the enemy could ever ever do this is what'll get you through it you look up through tears you look up through feeling so weak and you say god i don't understand i don't know but i know this you're a good god and i trust you and i will never leave you and i will not doubt your goodness and your faithfulness huh i trust you i trust come on say it out loud i trust you lord i it's got to be a bed rock choice it's the anchor of your soul that you expect the goodness of god those that come to him have got to be fully persuaded that he is that he exists and something else and something else you got to be fully persuaded he's a rewarder a reward's a good thing that he's he's going to do right by you he's going to do good by you in the early days of of my ministry uh getting a hold of healing and deliverance there were some miracles that uh that we saw and even among my own uh relatives i know i had two uncles and it was very interesting over a period of uh four or five years both of them were diagnosed with terminal lung cancer one on one side of the family one on the other side of the family well i was as green as could be i mean we're talking back in the uh late 70s here and i had i had known about faith but i don't know six months maybe and the big issue is you don't know what you don't know but i had found out that we've been redeemed from the curse of the law and man i was on a mission to tell the world i thought everybody needs to hear this and it's still true well uh we were a thousand miles away but i heard that this particular uncle had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and i just i just knew that you know healing could be obtained and i was just so convinced and my young simplicity and and so i i went to see him and um talked to him and he was not uh he wasn't a church guy he i mean he wasn't a bible reader or a prayer he grew up in a house that believed in god but you wouldn't call him a strong believer at all and he was bedfest at home had come back home to die and just you know in the last stages advance no help and so i went in and i talked to him and i the lord gave him some awareness while i was with him and i and we talked about faith and healing and god can do anything and all things are possible him that believes and god's will is for you to live a long life and be satisfied before you go and man he's listening and so i i went back out of the bedroom went into the kitchen with the family and we were eating something there and and heard a noise looked around and it was him he had got up they were shocked and he was holding on to the door facing and uh he said in a weak voice he said i'm going to live glory to god i said praise god and his family started crying they said it's gone to his head and he's not in his right mind you know well i found out a few weeks later he had gained strength he was eating i found out another month or two after that he'd gained 15 pounds hallelujah he got all the way recovered and went back to work and lived for years glory to god i was ecstatic well a couple of years later uncle on the other side of the family diagnosed with terminal lung cancer well i think hey we've all we got one down already you know right we we know what to do so i went and saw him and talked to him and he was respectful and i actually uh knew this uncle better than the other one and so we talked about some things i left him some materials we prayed and did what we knew to do and months went by and he got worse and worse and died and i you know it's not what i was endeavoring to believe for and so i was perplexed but let's just stop right here what is important right now for me and for anybody else in this situation what do you do when you don't know why because what's been being tried here is your core trust in the person of god is he real is he good is he faithful and is there a million and one things i don't know they're going to help me with this or not huh do you need to remind yourself on a regular basis there's just a whole lot of stuff i don't know but i know this god's a good god god's a faithful god his word is true faith in him is real and works i know that matter what else you find out it's not going to change that so we went to the funeral and the lord just allowed me uh to hear some things he's trying to help me and teach me because i also teach others and his daughter and another person came and they were talking about and they're describing a day and i realized well that's the day i was there that i came to visit and as soon as i left he called them in and planned out his funeral picked out all the songs to sing and talked about all those things well he was talking what i wanted to talk when i was there but as soon as i left that was well i didn't you know most cases you wouldn't have known that you wouldn't and and how do you know what's in somebody's heart and when it comes to believing for other people uh if it's your little child you can believe for them just like it's you but if it's another adult person you can't believe for them you can only believe with them you can't believe for them you can only believe with them that's true with finances it's true with anything god is a good god i want to hear you say it god is a good god i want you to tell him tell him god father i know you are a good god you're nothing but good you are the faithful god i trust you i trust you i trust you completely i trust you in life i trust you in death i trust you in the temporary i trust you in eternity the eternal god i trust you lord i trust you lord i trust you lord hallelujah hallelujah notice this verse again he said in the king james we know in what so we've got a lot of folks acting like they know more than they do we had a missionary from africa one time was doing some guest teaching at the school and us instructors would go out every wednesday and eat together and talk and this guy's uh got to know him a little bit later he's a super guy he's a great guy but at that time i didn't know him at all and we all sat down and eaten and somebody brought up this they thought was a heavy theological question and to him and and he leaned back he said i can answer any question at all just ask of course we're all bible teachers so we're thinking oh really really you can't answer any ques he said often my answer is i don't know but i can answer any question you should not be afraid to say i don't know more than once i've had people you know so seriously brother keith you know what about this and i said well i don't know and i've had people look at me and go come on now i mean tell me i said no i really don't know and they wouldn't take that for an answer they're like oh come on now no you already knew before you came up here i didn't know everything right none of us know everything in fact according to the scripture all of us just know apart apart and that means there's all these parts we don't have a clue about and we've only been alive for less than a tenth of last night that's a hundred years god time we need to show some humility before the majesty of god's limitless understanding and wisdom we need to show some humility before that and make the choice of trusting him i'm convinced that when we get out of this body and we go to be with the lord which is coming real soon if you live another 50 years it's going to go by like that everybody needs to be ready to go now everybody everybody that's one of the big jobs of the church is that right go into all the world proclaim the good news why tell everybody you better get ready to go you bet you need to be ready to go now today because what guarantee do you have i mean they tell us some 155 000 people leave the planet every day die about every second two more two more two more leave it leaving if you could see in the spirit there are these scores of thousands of people leaving the planet some going up some going down there's also these scores of thousands of arrivals babies being born arrivals and departures that's the language the bible uses didn't paul say the time of my departure is at hand this is real and yet most people on the planet they're trying to live like they're going to do this forever they're acting like they're going to work their job and clean their kitchen and go to work you know for what how long the scripture said teach us to number our days right we need to be aware i know a while back i was looking at my calendar making some plans looking at some things because you know as things have developed you've got more things going on and so you have to watch well where do i do this and so i was trying to look out a little bit further you know these digital uh calendars they just go on and on and on and finally at one point i thought well now will i be here right i mean there's coming a point where you ain't going to be here and that's if the lord terry's is coming right and we we should just be ready for that and we should be thinking this way with a constant awareness of how temporary this is and i'm just sure that when we get out of this body and we show up with him i it's probably going to be for the first century that every so often we'll go oh oh okay oh no wonder oh wow what were you thinking oh huh because what cause he says you're going to not just know in part you're going to know perfectly and you're even going to know as you are known can y'all take some more of this keep reading he said uh when the perfect comes the partial will pass or pass away when i was a child i spoke like a child i thought like a child i argued like a child now that i've become a man i'm finished with childish ways now we see obscurely in a mirror but then it will be face to face now i know partly then i will know fully just as god has fully known me that is something to look forward to because one of the most tormenting things down here is ignorance isn't it one of the most tormenting things in this life in fact that's what romans 8 calls our weakness our it's why the holy spirit needs to help us because we don't know we don't know and it's that that lack of knowledge that that vacuum that empty place that you can if you yield to it you will panic you will yield to fear and what will prevent that being made perfect in love pushes out displaces the fear because there is no fear in love oh come on say it out loud there is no fear in love now hebrews talks about that jesus took part of flesh and blood so that he through death might destroy him that had the power of death that is the devil i'm telling you the devil ain't what he used to be he's a has-been he's he used to be and i never will be and he's the loser i'm not just trying to call a name have you read the back of the book nobody has ever lost on the scale or with the finality that he does you're the winner you're the winner i mean if you fail to receive half of what belongs you to you in this life and you get out of here your name's in the lamb's book of life you're saved forever you're a part of god's eternal kingdom you're a big winner either way you go hallelujah thank you lord we know in part then in this is what we have to look forward to soon i mean if it's a hundred years it's going to be here like that how many have been alive a little while what does the last 20 years seem like to you huh huh what do you think about the next 20 how many 20s you got right because real soon you gonna be out of here how long does it take to go oh man you quit breathing you're out of here and to depart and be with christ is far and god doesn't exaggerate far better far better we don't know it because this is all we've ever known but this is a dark place oh this this place is full of the curse and death it's distorted it's messed up but this is all we've ever known but once you get out you won't ever want to come back and and at some point god's just gonna he's gonna do away with this whole thing and new heavens and new earth wherein is no curse we've never been in a place like that but it's gonna be wonderful wonderful wonderful it'll never be too hot it'll be too cold never be too dry never be too humid you could run through the jungle and never step on a thorn if you see a tiger grab him and play with him i'm telling you so much of what we people call nature animals ripping each other apart being carnivores god did not create them that way that's not how it's gonna be in the future the lion's gonna eat uh grass like a cow the lion's going to be a vegetarian and i'm quoting scripture from isaiah and lie down with the lamb and there will be nothing that will hurt or harm little ones can play anywhere babies can play anywhere never have to think about it hallelujah this is the shortest thing we'll ever do if we can just keep it together for just a little while longer how many think you can keep it together what do you mean keep it together trust your god trust your god don't doubt him don't question him accusatively trust him trust him hold on to him tight he is your eternity he is your future somebody say my future's with you father my future is with you he's already committed to us i will never leave you or forsake you there should be a reciprocal we should respond and say and lord i will never leave you and i will never should he get this from us huh should he get this from us lord i won't leave you either i'm not leaving you and i'm not forsaking you and if he's got that you're set you're sad he said we know in part and then he compares it to being a child well children are the perfect example because there's so much they don't know and they can ask questions that you just can't answer do you know what i mean by that three-year-olds four-year-olds can ask questions that you you might be a tremendous speaker and a brilliant mind and you could explain it to them perfectly and they still won't have a clue what you're talking about because they just don't have the life experience or the perspective to understand well that's where we are right now compared to god that's where we are there's some there's some questions we can ask he can't even he can't even tell you because you wouldn't know what he's talking about i know some years ago there was something that bothered me about a thing and i asked the lord lord i want to know this i want to understand this and 10 years later i wasn't thinking about it and he just starts talking to me about it somebody say 10 years 10 years 10 years later and when he did i thought this wasn't a day late i mean if he just started talking to me about this six months ago i don't know if i'd have been ready i had to grow can you see this i had to grow and learn some things through revelation and through experience to know what he's talking about to understand what he's talking about he doesn't want you not to know you just got to grow i said you just have to grow but here's your future right now you just know part of the part but soon you're going to understand the full picture hallelujah and you're going to know now i know partly verse 12 this is again this is the cjb we see obscurely in the mirror then it'll be face to face it's like it's like an out of focus thing right now it's a blur doesn't that describe so much stuff so much stuff it's a blur you you heard something but you don't know exactly what it was you saw something but you don't know exactly what that was either and as we get out of here and get further on down with him it's just going to come into sharp focus whoa hallelujah and he said now i know partly but then i will know fully just as god has fully known me i had an experience a few years ago when my dad went home to be with the lord and it i got revelation it revealed some things that i had not understood um i lord help me to say what i should say about it my dad and i were close uh all my growing up i mean he worked the night shift and he'd come in when i was uh four years old and five and bring popsicles at two in the morning we'd eat popsicles and you know just taught me things every boy should know no you know how to fire a firearm how to pop a wheelie on a motorcycle how to get rubber in second gear and third gear and a mustang you know important stuff that a boy needs to know and just a wonderful we had a good relationship and um he had a heart attack um he was only i guess he was at that point he was in his late 50s and um i mean he said he stepped out on the uh in his carport and it hit him and he just collapsed and he said he's leaving his body and he he knew some things about god and prayer and faith he said lord is it time for me to go and he said the lord said no now here's an interesting thing do you know you can go early do you know that it's up to us remember what paul said i'm in a straight betwixt two having a desire to depart and be with christ which is far better but to stay here is more needful for you and which one i will choose i don't know now see a lot of people don't even believe that is paul saying he can choose whether he stays or goes yeah yeah and so he said lord and the lord said no so he started fighting and believing to stay and doing everything he knew and and he revived and his heart was just tore apart from this thing and he he really shouldn't have lived and he lived a little bit longer and a long story short over the months god put his heart back together and and he recovered and he lived for years but he was still only in his um i guess was he late 60s then and uh he hadn't been flying with me because of that thing and uh but he wanted to go on some meetings with us and so he he i talking to him on the phone one time he said i want to go i was going to a meeting in florida that's before we had a church there and he said i want to go i said well are you sure he said yeah he said i'm not going to let fear dominate me and so uh we went but uh halfway there he died in the plane and i was i was flying i was in the cockpit and i saw him slump over and my mom was there i couldn't do anything i had to fly the plane and i got down quick as i could but it seemed like it took three hours you know and the ambulance was waiting there but he was gone he was gone and it bothered me and i kept thinking you know did i miss god i mean we he didn't have to go on that trip and he had had a fear of flying and i had even asked him the day of are you sure you want to go you don't have to go yeah i want to go but he he died i talked to brother kenneth copeland that that evening afterwards and i was crying and and he he got a word from the lord he said keith i don't think your dad even knew he died until later he got it in his spirit he said i i perceived that you were flying along and he's looking out the window and he was i knew that next thing you know he's outside the plane and it took him a little bit to even realize that he had left his body but he just kept going you came down he didn't but it but i was troubled i i don't like missing it how about you i really don't like missing it and i know it's not things are not all up to god we have a part to play in these things so i cried and i prayed and i sought the lord and i just i wasn't in in very good shape for a little while trying to see because you need to know for the future too and one morning early in the morning the lord got a hold of my spirit and i went up i don't know exactly how to describe it but to me it's just as real as me standing here talking to you right now i can remember every detail and i came up i believe it's some part of heaven but i didn't see the master i didn't see the father i didn't see the throne it was somewhere else and it was this through way it would remind you of an outdoor mall that's a not really good they weren't selling stuff there but there was activity and like there was activity of this kind here an activity of this kind there and there was this throughway and when i got there i knew how i know i don't know i just knew my dad was there i just knew it and so i started looking for him and eventually i found him and it is amazing to see somebody that you buried their body a few months ago and he wasn't old i mean last time i saw him what little harry had left was white and of course he had a lot of wrinkles and he was older not now oh man you say he looked like a million bucks that ain't enough money hair jet black when he turned his head had that blue sheen to it sometimes you know i mean look young maybe late twenties early thirties just looked amazing and uh come here brother when i saw him you mind if i get close to you and touch you when i saw him we just ran up and grabbed and i stayed hugged up with him the whole time i was there it was just it was amazing and we walked down through the corridor and all he wanted to know about was what was going on in the ministry that's all we talked about we didn't talk about anything of course you know on the earth we we talked about cars and motorcycles and every other kind of thing and family but not there the only and later on i thought well why didn't we talk about this it never came up only what was happening in the church churches what was going on in the ministry well see they know now kingdom things are all that really matters everything else is soon be over one way or another and the reason i bring some of this up let me tell you one interesting thing there were people at different parts activity going on and um these men over here they said hey hey brother keith it's another key and i thought later well you know since dad was there maybe there were other people that we knew or knew us in this life that were in the same place i don't know that's just a guess of mine but there were these two guys popped up and i said hi and so me and dad walked over there and one of them said what's the answer to a thousand and one questions the other guy said they both said together be laid well that's something i've said before and they quoted about five or six different things that i had said preached and they they said oh man that helped me so much when i was on the earth this is real folks this is real but the thing the reason i bring it up you know you hear people say oh i i never got to tell somebody bye or oh i i didn't really get to tell them you know how much i care about them or or maybe if there was a a rift or something you know i didn't get to get that fixed or whatever one of the big revelations i got i i never felt the need to try to tell my dad how much i loved him and cared about him and i knew he didn't either because we knew i fully knew how much he cared about me and valued me and loved me and i knew he knew he knew and boy that scripture came to me strong you'll know somebody say you'll know you'll know as you are known and all of this it really it really helps you to to realize how much fear there is down here because you know in our interactions with each of god did they know what i meant or did you think maybe they got the wrong idea or or did you know that's just all fear that's just all fear and ignorance and there i knew that he knew and we just stood hooked up the whole time and then we got to a place where i knew i couldn't go any further and i left i think he be seated and and came back but i got up and went to the kitchen we got a bar in there that you eat at and i just sat there just astounded and then i realized something's gone i couldn't find a shred of grief in me i had been crying you know i had been upset i i purposely looked for something you shouldn't have but i looked i couldn't find any and that was years and years ago and i'm the same way today i know where he is hallelujah how about all your folks you know where they are hallelujah soon and very soon you and me two more is that right two more two more go into the book of revelation in closing i think you got time for a few more minutes that that was one of the biggest revelations i got out of that was that you'll know as you're known because it just unless you got something to compare it to you don't realize how how much fear there is in so much of what we've we've done and all this questioning and all this second guessing because see that's what i was doing about our decisions and what we had done what if and what about and and how come this and that's all fear that's just you can tell it's fear because it torments you huh and then what the scripture said fear has torment you can tell how much fear you're letting work in you by how vexed you are if you're vexed and you're upset and you're frustrated about it then it's just it's just fear that you are allowing and didn't the lord say don't let your heart be troubled come on did he say it or not don't don't don't be afraid don't let your heart be troubled hallelujah he's given us the peace that passes understanding and if we'll cast all of our care over on him and just come back to the bed rock basic lord i trust you i believe in you with all my heart with all my soul with all my mind with all my strength i love you i trust you nobody nothing will ever get me to separate from you and that's what you know paul was shouting about in romans 8 when he says what can separate me from the love of god which is in christ jesus and one of the first things he leads off with is death death can't do it life can't do it demons can't do it the past can't do it the future can't do it come on say nothing nothing nothing can will ever separate me from the love of god nothing nothing nothing that's me accepting and receiving his love and me reciprocating it and loving him in revelation 21 we'll leave on this a revelation of your future this is not just some wild eyed somebody prophesying about it it is written it is written right here it came through john it came by the holy spirit it's canon he said verse 1 21-1 i saw a new heaven not the one you've seen a new one new earth not this one new one for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away i don't know for years somehow i thought he was going to fix this one but that's not what it says and you know he created this one so why not just create a new one that's what he's doing and i john saw the holy city new jerusalem coming down from god out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband i heard a great voice out of heaven saying behold the tabernacle of god is with men you know the angels had said what is a man that god is doing all this stuff for them it it astounded them they're like what is a man i mean they're not big as us they're not strong as us they're not good looking as us i mean what's the big deal with this man well you hadn't seen us in our glorified states yet the scripture said behold what kind of love god has shown toward us and that we are the sons of the living god somebody say i'm a son of god i'm a child of god that's forever he said god is with men he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and god himself will be with them and be their god and god shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death in this new heavens and new earth the grass won't die the flowers won't die the plants won't die you won't die nothing about you will die no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away that's right back to our text isn't it this is going to pass away that's going to pass away the other is going to be fulfilled but not love i didn't finish reading it but he said now abides these three is that right faith hope love what's he saying these are going to be with you forever dear heart these and everything you learn about these and developing these down here you take with you into eternity and you just keep building on it and you just keep developing in it they are forever and the greatest of those three even is love because god is love can you see what he said he's going to wipe away all tears from their eyes and there's going to be no more death no more sorrow no more crying no more pain no more hospitals no more mental institutions no more cemeteries come on are y'all with me or not no more funerals huh no more bad reports no more bad diagnosis no more pain no more pain because all the former things are gone and you know why would it be necessary for god to wipe away our tears well because in the transition of the former things passing away and the judgments there's going to be revelation of who's in heaven and who's not are y'all with me and judgments and what's rewarded and what's not and you're going to retain your mind do you remember the the scripture said that the lord was talking about lazarus you know told the rich man remember in your lifetime so you retain all of that and so there can be regrets there can be a heartbreak there can be but god's going to fix it if you're crying about this or that or upset he is going the literal rendering says he's going to wipe away every tear he's going to touch you and me and that'll be the last sad tears we ever cry hallelujah and we will enter into a new phase of existence where death doesn't exist grieving in sorrow doesn't exist crying in sorrow doesn't exist and there is no pain oh thank god for a place where there is no pain no pain and so shall we ever be with the lord can you make it a few more days come on stand on your feet can you make it huh can you make it a few more days to get to that yeah that's right i heard somebody say you made it this far that's right this ain't no time to quit now no time to turn around now just close your eyes lift up your hands let me lead you in in another prayer we don't know who's in the house but affirm or reaffirm your faith and your commitment to him he's made commitment to you make that commitment to him say it out loud i confess jesus as lord of my life i receive forgiveness and cleansing and washing eternal life and the righteousness of god thank you lord for saving me and giving me your word that you will never leave me you will never forsake me you will never let me go and i'm making my commitment to you i will trust you in this life and in the next i will hold to you my soul follows hard after thee i will stick close to you as you help me and i will trust you forever hallelujah praise god praise god pastor oh thank you [Applause] glory to we're not just hearers but we are doers of the word for it is the doer that's blessed in all that they put their hand to we thank you that your word does not return void but it is accomplishing what
