I've Never Seen The Trail Like This...Chevy Silverado Stuck Bad

[Music] so we got a call for a pickup truck i think it's a chevy that is stuck on the smithsonian butte road up above rockville so we're gonna head up there and see how bad it is i bet you it's bad but you never know yeah it looks like a good snow on us uh it's about five o'clock and uh we'll get them out [Music] oh all right got the hubs locked in hazardous road i think i'll just walk the rest of the way good thinking oh look at that fog so are we pulling him back down the hill or all the way across this i'm gonna send him back this way all right sending it down try it man these tires look at this vintage wonderland um the snow just disappeared just straight up it's gone he's gonna be very disappointed to see this jeep he's completely off [Music] that is not good yeah that's quite the damage i'm gonna need new boots i'm gonna need to pull the back into this truck back on the road from that direction oh yeah all right we're just trying to figure out how to do it the least this way without causing the most guys yeah so you got you got quite a bit of weight on that rock all right yeah we're gonna pull the back of the truck that way that's what i get it back on the road slide it back out that way yeah i'm gonna need you in that truck [Music] [Music] dude i don't know man i need to pull really straight this way let me get over just a little bit [Music] further [Music] this is barely staying here it's not stainless slowly this is slowly sliding downhill so what we're going to do put them back in two-wheel drive and we're just going to get the back end of the truck slid up onto the road hopefully without losing the front end we got to get away from them rocks [Music] [Music] all right all right good job the worst is over i think you need a new quarter panel now yeah that was unfortunate them rocks are there that's from the rock that's for sure no whoa well the snow just all of a sudden quit coming half mile up the road you know too and and i've driven this road so many times and it's such hard rock gravel i never thought it would turn into mud like this this just churns a lot of people's stomachs what's happening right here and i'm sorry i've done this home my whole life it's never bothered anybody until i started filming it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] that might have done it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] do you think you can drive it here for a minute the snow yeah okay we'll drive to the store yeah i think there's only that one bad spot right where the snow ends and then once we get through there if there's nothing hanging up on my wheel is there no there it looks good back there it okay cleared itself what do you think ed that's a muddy mess you've done it good man yeah we had we had to dance with the mud there a little bit but we got it he's still hooked up no no he's gonna yeah he's gonna try to make it he's driving out i'm gonna let room let rudy's skill determine whether or not we have to hook up again this will save us from having to stop further up the road to unlock the hubs doesn't work getting that butt off your boots [Music] i just let it dry out and fall off thank you so much yeah you are welcome what size shirt do you wear uh extra large looks okay so i made a call thank you guys okay i'll follow you out alrighty nice to meet you thanks a lot what happened there ed well we got up there and about 16 inches of snow and then it turned into mud and the guy was slid sideways and hung up on a rock on a with a pickup and matt figured out how to get sideways and pulled him off the rock and then pulled him up to heal aways and got him out he was happy and thanks for watching
