okay welcome again I'm Robert breaker and I've got a message prepared for you this week and I hope it'll be a blessing to you at the beginning here let me apologize for my voice I'm a little bit sick I've gotten the what my grandmother used to call the crud CR u D I have gotten that again this has been the worst year seems like everyone we know they've they've got the flu and hangs with them the call for a couple of weeks even a month and then they get better and then all of a sudden the next month they get it back again and that's what's happened to us and we're seeing that happen to a lot of other people I began calling it the weaponized flu because that's what it appears to be they've weaponized the flu to get people sick over and over and over and over again it seems like whatever you do you're still gonna get it two three four times so I've been taking vitamin C I've been taking everything I can and thank God I haven't got as bad as I've gotten it before but it's enough to where my ears are stopped up I sound to myself like I'm talking funny my voice might sound a little strange to you as well but I do want to continue doing and be faithful to what God has called me to do which is to bring a new sermon every week in English and in Spanish so even though I'm a little under the weather I wanted to bring this sermon to you know this is a sermon that I'm going to deal with the subject that a lot of ministers like to shy away from a lot of preachers don't want to deal with this issue I guess they're scared I don't know what their problem is but if you're a true minister of the gospel then your first concern your very first concern and care should be for the salvation of those people you're trying to reach and I have a real love and care for people and I want to see them saved I've been a lot of folks in my life that were deceived people who thought they were safe but they weren't and I don't want you to be like that I don't want you to be a person who thinks they're safe but then dies and wakes up in hell and says Oh God but I thought I was a Christian and you weren't I want you to be a true Bible believing child of God blood wash Saints someone who's truly really really saved so that you will go to heaven when you die and you will know it so what deal with today is the subject of is questioning the salvation of others biblical in other words is it okay to ask someone if they're saved or not and if they tell you that they are is it okay to question that and say well we'll tell me your testimony how did you get saved some preachers will tell you that no no but you should never ask a person if they're saved or not now that's ridiculous now a lot of preachers will say no it's okay to ask someone they're safe but they won't go the extra step and then say after you've asked them if they say yes then say tell me your testimony I want to hear how you claim you got saved and that's what I do every time I deal with someone or talk to someone especially here in the south where we live everybody claims to be a Christian and you asked him where you said oh yes I'm a Christian oh yes and you say okay now tell me how you got saved tell me what it is that makes you think you deserve to go to heaven what is it that you believe that gets you to heaven of course we don't deserve to get to heaven but I ask it that way because I've visited and spoken with so many of them that a lot of them are what you call false converts they have a false profession of faith they're not real Christians that are not really safe what they are is people who think they're saved but they're not why because they're trusting is something they did rather than what Jesus did so they're false converts let me go we'll start here with galatians chapter 4 verse 11 and then verse 20 as you're turning there I want you to know that it's not wrong to question someone's salvation it's a matter of fact it's biblical I'm going to show you a couple of verses here where Paul tells people to look to themselves to see if they're even saved or not but like I said some ministers say you should never question someone's salvation I've even heard some preachers say only the devil tries to talk people out of their salvation and what they claim is that when you ask someone for their testimony and you ask them if they're saved or not well you're just trying to talk them out of your salvation I have never attempted to try to talk somebody out of their salvation but at the same time I remember an old preacher one time and it's funny this old preacher was a friend of my old pastor and this old preacher said one time he says if you can talk a person out of their salvation that they were never safe to begin with I thought that was pretty good so it's not wrong to question someone and ask them are you saved if they say yeah man I'm safe and you say tell me how you got say or you think you got saved and then listen to that and then question okay so where's that in the Bible show me show me the scripture where it says that is that what the Bible says that's not wrong but people say well all you're doing is trying to talk them out of their salvation maybe it's because they aren't saved and they say well only the devil tries to talk you out of your salvation no not not exactly you know what the devil wants is people to be deceived so wouldn't what the devil really wants is for people to have a false assurance of salvation wouldn't that be where the devil wants to get people I mean if you can't keep them out of the Bible and out of churches and out of denominations and hearing about God then wouldn't he want them to have a false belief in God and in salvation and so that they're deceived thinking they're Christians whether or not I've seen a lot of folks that were lost and the Holy Spirit of God begin to deal upon them and show them that they're not saved and they go to a pastor and a pastor says oh you're doubting your salvation well that's just Satan here just do this and you're saved and I look at that and I just say no no you just said that the Holy Spirit of God is Satan pastor that's not right because it's the Holy Spirit that was dealing with that person to try to get them to the point of understanding that they were lost you know some preachers say well you can't get saved till you get broken and you get down to that point where you can't go any farther and God's taking everything from you and when you're broken that's when you come to salvation and they say that's God dealing with you okay if that's true then that needs to happen in your in your estimation if that's what you preach well how come well happens to you you never think for a minute that it could be God dealing with you to get you saved how come you claim to be a Christian and then bad times come you say oh it's just available working on me what if it's God the Holy Spirit working on you to say hey wake up you have a false profession you're not safe I'm trying to get you to where you look to me look to the scriptures and get saved and know you're saved because I talk like this because I preach like this there's some people that say well all brother breaker does his entire ministry is just trying to talk people out of their salvation let me see I've been preaching since I was 18 years old I'm 43 now I've been on YouTube for three years that before that I've preached a lot of messages but on YouTube I've never preached this message of it's questioning the salvation of others biblical I can't even remember maybe another 1 or 2 messages where I even mentioned this subject about false converts or beings so my whole ministry is not devoted to try to talk people out of their salvation it's so interesting to me how people will lie about you but I do see that it is biblical to ask people that they're saved and to ask them if their testimony lines up with the scripture let me show you this Galatians chapter 4 and verse 11 and I want to say shame on you if you're a pastor who's against this I've known pastors their churches are full of lost people and they won't deal with it they won't be able to show you this here in just a second but let me go read Galatians chapter 4 in verse 11 Galatians 4:11 says I'm afraid of you lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain here the Apostle Paul is writing the Church of Galatia he says look I'm afraid of you what does he say to you saying did you guys really get safe he said did I work my labor in vain with you what does he mean did I preach the gospel in vain to you cuz and I'm wondering if you even say to you guys now look at verse 20 I decided to be present with you now and it's changed my voice for I stand in doubt of you if I was a Paul saying look I'm starting to doubt whether or not you guys even got saved you may have made a profession with the mouth but I'm wondering if you have any possession if you ever really understood the gospel and believed it so is it biblical to question other people's salvation here the Apostle Paul is he sees question man I'm doubting you guys I wonder if you guys even saved and that's just two verses I got two more that are even stronger he's right to question someone salvation is it right to ask them to look at themselves and see if they're really saved or not I like to say it this way are they really safe or are they truly saved because a lot of people say they're saved when they're not what are they they're false converts they're thinking that they're saved by something they did but they're not truly safe because you're truly safe by trusting what Jesus did not what you do let's go to 2nd Corinthians the Apostle Paul gives us two places in this book of 2nd Corinthians in which he commands you to look at yourself and see if you're really saved or not 2nd Corinthians chapter 10 and verse 7 the Bible says do you look on things after the outward appearance If any man trust to himself that he is Christ let him of himself thinkness again that as he is Christ even so are we Christ's the Apostle Paul says look if you think you are of Christ if you think you are saved you said think about it one more time thinking about it again what are you saying he's saying think about this and make sure that you really are what you claim to be because you just might be a false convert you might be someone who thinks they're safe but they're not because you haven't believed right and that's what it all boils down to is what is your faith in if your faith isn't something other than the blood of Christ and you're not saved now I don't have this ability to tell who saved and who's not there are people out there that claim to have that ability I don't know where they got it from nowhere in the bible does it say that you can know that this guy saved that guy's not and this guy saved that guy there's people all over YouTube that go around and say well this guy's saved and that guy's lost and this guy's saved that guy's luck how they think they know who's saved and who's lost I have no idea my old pastor used to preach that you can never know four guys saved or not there's only three people that know if you were saved you God in the devil he said if you don't know you've got problems so I don't go around saying this guy's saying that guy's lost this guy because I don't know only they themselves know God knows or the devil but I can't know the only way that I can even come to the conclusion that they might be saved is by their testimony and when it lines up with the scriptures that I think okay maybe alright I'll call this guy brother but if a person gives their testimony and it does not line up with the scriptures I can't call them brother I stand in doubt with him so it's all about the blood atonement of Christ and Paul says look to yourself to make sure if your sake or not he says i standing down some of you that claim to be saved and i wonder about it now go to second Corinthians chapter 13 and verse 5 shame Corinthians 13:5 says examine yourselves whether you be in the faith notice he says it doesn't say whether you did this or you did that and you did these works examine yourself to see whether you be in the faith prove your own selves no you're not your own selves how that Christ is in you except you'd be reprobates so if you're saved then Christ is in you but if he's not you're a reprobate that means you're a lost person you're not saved and what do you need you need the faith that saves you need to trust so in the Bible it is biblical according to the scriptures to question someone's salvation it is biblical for a person who claims to be a Christian to look and see whether or not they're truly saved or not now I come from a certain Bible School in Pensacola that I've told people about before and in that Bible school they say things about Robert breaker that aren't true and that's fine the latest thing I heard as they said brother breaker is against prayer he doesn't believe in prayer I thought that was funny they say Robert breaker believes prayer is a war someone told me that someone in that over there said that Robert breaker goes around trying to talk people out of their salvation and things like this and I just look at that and go whatever I mean whatever if it's in the Bible and it's scriptural that I'm going to believe it and preach it and if somebody says otherwise I'm not gonna care about what they say I want to go about what the scriptures say but it's interesting to me I went to that Bible Institute that was founded by dr. Peter s rahman dr. Peter S Rahman went to this Bible School here this Bible School is Bob Jones Bible School this is dr. Bob Jones and dr. Peter ruckman went to Bob Jones Bible School and it's called Bob Jones University this is a little gospel tract that I got that is nothing but a preaching that this is actually the transcript of Bob Jones senior preaching a message in 1946 as preached in 1946 okay so this is a message preached by Bob Jones senior in 1946 and notice what Bob Jones singer says I find this so interesting Bob Jones senior cenis and I tell you frankly after having the preach the gospel in most of the states of the union I do not believe 50 percent of the church members are really Christians what a confession by this great evangelist this man named Bob Jones singer this great man of God said I don't even believe 50% of people in churches that I preached it what is he saying he said I don't even believe 50% of church members are saved he said I don't think that half the people sitting in a church pew know God from a watermelon I don't think they're even saved in 1946 here we are in 2018 how many people are lost sitting in churches today 70% oh that's - hi brother breaker 80% I mean the Bible says the last days will be a time apostasy we're in that time of apostasy what do you think 90% I've been to a lot of churches I've made a lot of people huh I have knocked on a lot of doors I preached on a lot of street corners I talked to people I deal with people I asked people questions and I found very few people that claim to be Christians they go to church that have the gospel right their testimonies don't line up with the scripture so I have to wonder are they even saved are they even saved so that's my question is are these people even saved so I look at that and and I see that the man that taught Peter ruckman says you know there's a lot of folks out there half of them that I have approached to probably lost so that gives me a burden for those people I have a burden for lost people but I also understand that there's a lot of lost people in churches that means there's a lot of lost religious people who think that they're Christians and on their way to heaven but they're not even saved so is it biblical to question their salvation oh yeah oh yeah the Apostle Paul tells us that we should question their salvation and he tells them to look to themselves to examine themselves to see if they're even saved or not so in order to be saved well let's go there first how do you get saved what does the Bible say is the way to be saved let's look at that first it's failed at first Corinthians chapter 15 1 through 4 which is we know is the gospel so 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 is what's called the gospel and according to the Bible you are saved by faith in the gospel what is the gospel 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which I'll see and received and wherein you stand all right you stand in the gospel you receive it by faith and that's when you're saved it says by which you are also safe or by which also ye are saved verse 2 if you keep in memory what I preached on you unless you believed in vain now what did you say believed in vain means what vanity vanity yourself if you're trusting in something you do apart from what Jesus did or you're trying to add what you do to what Jesus did you've believed in vain you're not trusting solely in the gospel you're trusting something you do as well our vein also means worthless are not real are you believed in vain that means you haven't really believed you haven't really gotten saved you're not really safe so we have a right to question whether you're saved or not and as true Christians we should because if we care about you we want to see you get saved I'm reminded to that verse in the Bible where I can't remember who it was but I think it was Aquila and Priscilla if I remember right they went over here and they found this guy and they started asking well what about this have you heard about this and the guy says well I haven't heard about that and so they took the letters wing and they instructed him or taught him the way of the Lord more perfectly the Bible says well that's what Christians should do if you're a true Christian and you're saved you should love other Christians enough that your desire is to go to them and say hey let me show you the Word of God more perfectly let me show you what the Bible says about how to be safe because I'm worried about you your testimony doesn't seem to line up with the scriptures so let me show you what the scriptures say so what the scriptures say the gospel is verse 3 and 4 probably delivered on you first of all that which I also received now notice the very next word how how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to scriptures so Jesus Christ died he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures but it's not just that he did that the most important thing is how Jesus did that and how he did it was by blood atonement he offered himself up as the blood atonement for the sins of the whole world the Bible says without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sin so you have to have that blood it's the blood atonement of Christ that saves us it's so it's all about the blood so are you trusting in the blood we've got the book of Romans book of Romans is a fantastic book there's so many wonderful things in the book of Romans and it's sad that people want to go all the way over to toward the end of the book instead of going to the beginning of the book I always love to go to Romans chapter 10 and tell you some Asians in Romans chapter 10 and there's some good stuff in Romans chapter 10 but there's way better stuff in Romans chapter 3 why aren't you going to Romans chapter 3 according to Romans chapter 3 starting to embers 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus it's not all works it's Christ who redeems us because he paid it all on the cross verse 25 whom God set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood so salvation is by faith in his blood you see salvation today is by faith faith in what faith in the blood that's the gospel the gospel is how Christ IV shed his blood so are you trusting in the blood that's what makes you a Christian whether or not you trust the blood I met people I said well so you Christian you man I got saved substitute something ok well tell me your testimony well you know I was doing it a little bit and then obviously okay I said well what about the gospel what about the blood what about it I said well when did you trust the blood I don't know what you're talking about leave me alone okay obviously you're a false convert obviously you're a person that has no idea what the gospel is or what your faith is supposed to be in in order to be saved but have some gotta set forth so what are your lost but yet you go around tell everyone you're a Christian what are you you're a false profession of faith you're person who is not a true Christian because you don't understand what really makes a person a Christian but yet you think you are you think you are a Christian whom God set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past into forbearance of God verse 26 to declare I say at this time his righteousness and he might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus where is boasting then is excluded by what law of works name above the law of faith therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law salvation is not by what we do it's by faith in what Jesus did what did he do he did the gospel and what is the gospel it's how he died is faith in the blood of total of Christ you continue in Chapter four of Romans tells us again that salvation is by faith alone it's by grace through faith faith is what saves us verse five but him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly his faith is counted for righteousness verse six even as david also describeth the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputed righteousness without works saying blessed are they whose iniquities that means sins are forgiven and whose sins are covered thus if the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin when we trust the blood of Christ we have Christ imputed righteousness imputed righteousness imputed to us and our sins are forgiven chapter five of Romans is a wonderful chapter I don't know why people don't go to Romans chapter five but often they don't this is one of the best places you can go to show people how to be saved verse 1 therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ look at verse 8 but God commits his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us first I'm much more than being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him it's the blood that saves and faith in the blood that saves us look at verse 10 and then verse 11 Oh verse 11 is beautiful verse 10 for if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son much more being reconciled we shall be saved by his life alright verse 11 and not only so but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have now received the what the atonement salvation according to the Bible is by receiving the atonement how do you receive the atonement by faith when your faith is in the blood atonement of Christ that's when you get saved yet in what they call Christianity today there are very few people that preach about the blood of Christ very few people preach about the blood atonement of Jesus Christ and what's sad to me is some of them are from my own Bible School where I went to Bible School I saw people that claimed to be Christians and you asked their testimony and then line up with the Bible and there obviously makes me wonder if they're saved because they don't preach on the blood Oh Rahman did Oh Peter ruckman man look what he says I'm gonna give you some quotes of Peter ruckman how important the blood is if you are saved you know the only way to heaven is the substitutionary blood atonement of Jesus Christ if you don't know that it's because you are lost so Peter Brockman used to preach the blood that's one of the reasons why my dad went to his Bible school that's one of the reasons my dad liked Peter ruckman because he saw Peter ruckman was a true Bible believer and a Bible teacher and he saw that Peter ruckman would preach it right but as time went on and he got older and older and older I guess he he kind of didn't preach it as much as he used to here's something here's an old thing that I got I wrote this down as I listened to Peter ruckman one of his sermons and I made a transcript through the blood Roman says if you're gonna get sight it's going to take blood to save you now all right I'm trying to mimic him just a little bit this is how we talked if you're going to get safe it's going to take blood to save you I got sick and tired of turn the radio on hear them say let Christ come into your life he won't without blood they say share God's love but they didn't say anything about blood we have emasculated land lies lái lái synthesize gospel being preached today that isn't any gospel at all the Bible says with whom we have redemption through his blood if you're trusting anything else God's not gonna let you off let Christ come into your life you'll go to hell as sure as you're sitting there let Christ come into your heart wakes Christ which heart the Bible says in whom we have redemption through his blood now there are thousand ways and a thousand plans of salvation that people talk about getting saved but the Bible says without shedding of blood there is no remission there are two ways to get saved the old-fashioned way and the new fashioned way and the new fashioned way is ineffective it doesn't get them saved the new fashioned way is share God's love let Christ come into your life let Christ come into your heart all that modern philosophical possibie snake nuts but in that book the Bible it's my shed blood you've got to have blood that's the old-time religion that's what Peter ruckman used to say in Peter ruckman used to be very very faithful in preaching the true gospel of salvation by faith in the blood atonement of Christ now we live at the matter of fact uh he he coined a phrase the bloodless gospel and he talked about how these other Gospels were false Gospels and my dad was going to that school at the time and he loved that my dad well the best tracts my dad wrote was called the bloodless gospel and he always told everybody I got that term the bloodless gospel from Peter ruckman because that's what he termed any other gospel that's not the true gospel of salvation salvation by faith in the blood the blood atonement of Christ so the Bible teaches that we're saved by faith and not by works and we're saved by blood receiving the atonement by faith Jesus 29 says for by grace you saved through faith and that not of yourselves as difficult as that he man should boast but like I showed you in this gospel try there's a lot of people this guy said about 50% of them are lost sitting in churches because they don't understand the message about the blood and what's being preached to these people is another gospel a bloodless gospel and these bloodless Gospels usually go like this well the first one they say be baptized the water to wash away your sins there a lot of people to think water baptism saves you well water and we'll get your flesh wet and that's it you need the blood to wash your sins away from your soul so water baptism doesn't save see my my video on YouTube entitled is water baptism essential for salvation and I prove without any shadow of doubt that water baptism isn't what saves us we're not saved by that but many people think they are and what they do is they say well I've been baptized so what do they do it they're saying so I'm going to heaven because of my work I did that so I'm saved but yet the Bible says not of works lest any man should boast and here they are boasting I've been baptized there's all these bloodless Gospels there's one called ask Jesus into your heart and that's not in the Bible you know you can read the higher Bible through and you'll never find one time anywhere in the scriptures where it says ask Jesus in your heart it's not there but you know what you will find you'll find a verse that says Christ dwells in your heart by faith when you believe then Jesus dwells in your heart but you don't say oh Jesus I asked you to come into my heart that's not in the Bible and oftentimes people that do that they think they're saved and you say hey man are you saving yeah cuz I ask you some my heart well that sounds like you're boasting about what you did that's not what the Bible teaches there's other people that they'll say well you just ask God to save you and if you'll just ask God to save you why he will where's that in the Bible there's no scripture in the Word of God from Paul in which Paul tells us now if you'll just ask God to save you well he'll save you right there on the spot no to the contrary he says trust God to save you and there is a difference between trusting and asking there's people that say no we just repeat the sinner's prayer and if you'll just repeat the sinner's prayer why as soon as you say that prayer then you'll be saved I've told this many times before I come across people all the time and I asked him are you saying - I'm saying I said the sinner's prayer I said really I said can you show me where that is in the Bible you know every time they try to show you a verse it's always out of context it's not Paul and it's not for salvation for today it's Jesus talking to the Jews and most of the time he's talking to - to believers it's not asking for salvation it's asking God for something that that a son asked from the father so this asks Jesus to save you in the sinner's prayer thing that's not what the Bible says other people love to go to Romans chapter 10 alright I've done videos about this before and they say Romans 10:13 Romans 10:13 whosoever shall call upon the name of Lord shall be saved and they say if you'll just call upon the name of the Lord then he'll save you and so they say that what you say or pray is what saves you if that's true then why don't I have this here's a Bible Baptist Church dr. Peter ruckman I'll get into this here in a second but dr. Upton never taught that yes he would preach who suffers a couple named Lord shall be saved but his understanding of call was that it's got to come from the heart not just from the mouth and there's a lot of folks out there some of them may even claim to be followers of Peter ruckman who say who sucks a couple or so we say who serves a couple if you'll just call the name a Lord just ask God to save you then he'll save you what are they doing they're leaving out the blood what if a man comes to Jesus and says God saved me but he's not trusting in the blood is he gonna get saved even the old believers understood that calling meant you come through blood atonement you call on God by faith trusting in the butter told me I got a hymnbook the other day we were in church and we were singing this hymn I thought it was interesting I'll just show you this really quickly have you any room for Jesus Oh today is time accepted tomorrow you may call in vain and people will go to that verse Romans 10:13 whosoever ZAR called with any more shall be saved well I called upon the Lord so I'm saved and they think they're safe because they did something with the mouth I can't tell you how many different testimonies I've heard of people that say once say because I called on God and I ask God to save me and you said okay but when did you trust them but I don't care about the blood I just called on God and I said God save me any day and I said well I mean that's great that you did that but that's not lining up with the Bible the Bible talks about calling upon the Lord and it says how she called him who not believed there must be faith and accompanies that comes with that is taking place at the same time and that faith must be in the blood of Christ my wife was writing to a man before we were married and she was writing him first and then I began to write to her and then he quit writing her but when he wrote her he told her he said I go to Bible School and every night I come back from my school crying because I don't know if I'm saved or not and so I just get down by my bed and I say oh god save me cuz who suffers a couple are named Lord shall be saved and then I say the repent of sinner's prayer and I repeat it over them and he did that his whole through Bible School and he did not even know if he was saved or not what was the problem sure didn't presented this salvation by faith and then he wouldn't have that problem so a lot of people will go and they'll think whosoever shall call upon the name Lord shall be say somebody sent me a testimony of some fella and it was interesting this man's testimony and it makes you wonder if this guy is even saved because he gave his testimony in a church and then his testimony says I was saved when I was eight years old and he goes into this big spiel about how was eight years old he said Oh God I'm a sinner Oh God saved me and I call upon your name and I pray and I ask you to save me Oh God and then he told everybody now I'm saved and I got saved when I was eight years old and you ask him how'd you get sick because I called to him that means only with the mouth and I asked God to save me well I saw that and I heard that testimony and then I heard the man give his testimony later on I believe it was on YouTube I don't know if it's still there but that man vehemently denied his testimony that he told before he immediately denied that he got saved when he's eight years old I did not get saved in eight years old he said okay all right well how did you get sick well you know when I was twenty something years old then I came to God and then and you say okay so what happened you mean you okay okay does it line up with Scripture I'm listening and he says I called on God and asked God to save me and that's when I got saved and you're sitting here looking at the Bible and you're looking at that and you're going huh does not compute you did the exact same thing you did when you were eight years old almost 20 years later that didn't save you when you were eight why would you think it would save you when you're 20-something if you did the same exact thing I guess the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something to happen right listen that's not salvation asking God to save you isn't what saves you calling on God with the math well I watch the guys testimony over again because I was trying to figure out because said the same thing he did before he did again and it didn't work back then but work me and so I said what is the difference well the difference was well I didn't repent enough this time I repented enough and so now I'm safe so what he's saying is salvation is by asking God to save you and then by your work of you repenting you see how he made it a faith in works gospel that's not salvation no preacher from the 1800s I believe it was said one time he says our repentance doesn't save us he said my very repentance needs to repent it of it's not repentance that saves you it's faith it's faith so my dad used to talk to Peter ruckman about these things and write him a letter and Peter ruckman used to teach that calling on the name of the Lord is a good thing but that doesn't save you and my dad wrote a letter to dr. Peter S Rahman and my dad wrote this letter to Peter ruckman saying Rahman you used to preach it straight you used to preach it right to salvations by blood atonement I've been hearing some of your graduate school students lately telling people just ask Jesus to save you our house Jesus in your heart Oh Rahman says I don't even teach a child that that's the plan of salvation has to use to save your s G's in your heart I don't teach anybody there safe until they realize their righteousness will land them in hell I believe a man has to be safe from something and I believe he's safe from Hell and I believe until he sees his own goodness can't save him the prayers don't amount to a hill of beans now man can ask Jesus to save him and then months later or years later the Lord may cash in and bring them in to the point of salvation because he has now I'm gonna come back to that here to minute this cash in thing I want to talk about that because the book says who suffers probably works let me say but if he doesn't give up his self righteousness the prayer is useless in regards to the blood I have mates maids I may have made some remark about fully understanding understanding fully the blood atonement or understanding fully the crucifixion in that sense the graduates may have gotten it right but certainly without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sins and then he continues on and on he says when pinned down they were trusting in the blood of Tommen of Christ to save them so dr. Peter ruckman used to teach and I remember him saying this in class that when you go to Romans chapter 10 in verse 13 when it says whosoever shall call upon the name and yes I was in his class I did graduate from the school dr. Peter ruckman used to talk about Romans 10:13 and he used to say who serves shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved and he says that's he says but that must come with faith now he says now someone might come to God with the mouth only in call on God and said O God save me and what he said he says what God does is God looks at that and says now that man wants to be saved the record says so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna send somebody to take the gospel to that man so that the man might get saved and that was the term at Peter ruckman called he called it cashing in he says now God is liable to give that man the gospel so that that man will get safe and when he gets saved and God will cash in and that was a term that Peter ruckman used I thought that was interesting and so what I have seen in my ministry is a lot of people who all they've ever done was call upon the name of the Lord with their mouth but they never believed from the heart I gave email after email I get phone call after phone call of people calling me it's a brother breaker you know I used to watch this guy on YouTube and listen and preach and man I was so confused and then I watched your videos and I heard plainly the gospel of salvation I understood that's when I got saved I said well hey man what's your testimony well when I was younger I asked God to save me I said okay well God is gonna cash in when did you hear the gospel what did you believe the gospel what did you understand again well through your videos okay when did you can say about a year ago watching you know so why is it when you only with the mouth said Oh God save me you see the damage that this calling upon the name of the Lord can do if it's preached only without the gospel plainly yes a guy could call God's how God saved me but that's not what safe sin but it'll sure make God want to get them safe so what does that person need that person needs to hear the gospel I've preached the gospel to you today I'm hoping God would cash in on you buddy I hope that you get saved you're being broken right now God's getting you he's trying to get you to a point where your open your ears and you will listen to the truth and God wants you to be saved you may have called upon the Lord said O God save me now wait the Bible says patiently wait upon the Lord wait and listen and look but says examine yourselves to see if you're safe have you trusted in the blood atonement of Christ have you if not you're still lost you see there is a difference in the Bible there is a head knowledge and a heart knowledge a lot of people come to God through the heart and out of their heart they might cry out to God oh god I don't want to go to hell save me but without that understanding of the gospel in the head they're not saved now God's got to get them the gospel so he can cash in so they'll get saved other people they have head knowledge they understand the gospel but they don't believe it in their heart I gave the illustration of my grandmother she's been gone now since 2015 so about two almost three years and my dad preached to my grandmother and I preached to her and we gave her the gospel and she could spin it off like that the gospel for these 15 one through four she tell you what it was she didn't believe it my bad my dad died in 2010 we had to take care of my grandmother then one day we were over in Alabama in our house there which we had to sell in order to live off of in order to take care of her I mean we suffered for quite a few years taking care of she she took 24-hour care to take care of my grandmother for those five years and we took care of my grandmother and I took over to the house and in Alabama before we had to sell it and it was just her and I and she said said now the table just says get your Bible she says tell me that story all over again she said Rob and that's what you call my dad she says Rob's in heaven I know it she says I probably could tell you what it is but she said I want to hear again so I took my Bible and I showed my grandmother once in the goths tree probably heard it a hundred times and she listened and she and I said so grandma do you understand do you believe and all these other times that she listened she goes oh well I believe Jesus died for the sins of the world I believe what she did it was always and she'd always do that with her hands but she had that head belief that it did take place that he did do it but there was no heart belief and that day she looked at me she goes I believe that Jesus died for my sins she made it personal she understood she accepted it for herself and that's what she got saved so salvation it takes both head and heart so people they get to their wit's in and they don't want to go to hell they go oh god save me but they didn't get saved right then it's not until they hear the gospel and understand it believe it that they get saved now God's got to bring that to them so they'll accept it and get saved other people's the other way around they hear the gospel but they don't believe it from their heart for me it was like this I never heard the gospel tells 18 years old but I was in church every day of my life I was always told no you do this now you do that you I pray the sinner's prayer every single night hoping that I'd get saved because that was the religious instruction that I got from people is I repeat this prayer but I was trusting in what I did I know people that are trusting and what they did what do they do they say what called upon the Lord okay you say are you saved they say yes because I called so they are trusting in their calling rather than trusting in the blind give it up quit trusting in what you do or your did and most of them they've done it more than once and these can't see they're blind that it didn't save them the first time why would they think they'd be saved the second time by doing the same thing over and over and over again they're lost they need Jesus Christ Jesus is in heaven wanting to cash in he wants them to come to him and trust only in the blood atonement give up their own self-righteousness a lot of people they just want to brag about their repentance well good Christian because I repented so quit bragging on yourself and trust Christ shed blood well Bible tells us clearly the salvation is by the blood and there's all these bloodless Gospels out there there's all these false teachings where people are told now if you'll just do this repeat after me or say this prayer or do then they're told that they're saved because they did that and they're trusting in that rather than what Jesus did and what they need is to hear the gospel so the answer is more preaching of the gospel and that's what I'm determined to do is preach it even harder preach it even more never back down never back down I'm preaching the gospel of salvation because I care about you and I want to make sure you're saved look at verse Peter chapter 1 verse 18 and 19 first Peter 1:18 and 19 says for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your father's but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot you talked to a lot of people you ask him where you say they said yeah because I said the prayer I ask God to save me with my mouth cold oh god I did it and what are they doing they're trusting in their vain conversation they talked to God and said O God please save me but that's not what redeems us it's the blood so the question is when did you trust the blood if you're not trusting the blood you're not saved I gave you that quote Peter ruckman if you are saved you know the only way to heaven is the substitutionary blood of Jesus Christ if you don't know that is because you're lost a lot of folks out there claim to be Christians that are lost all they've ever done is what the mouth said something but they never believed from the heart you see the heart is what we believe from a lot of people only with the mouth call only God I think well I'm saved because I called with my mouth or like the handbook said they called in vain mark chapter 7 verse 13 says making the Word of God of none effect effect through your tradition which he have liver and many such things do ye but then we read in the Bible the tradition makes the Word of God none effect so what these people in many churches today are doing and this is the sad thing there are many churches today that don't preach the blood of children of Christ and because of that there's a lot of false converts in churches here's a good quote by Clarence Larkin here's close Larkins quote Clarence Larkin says men may mock the gospel plan of salvation and ignore the blood but they will not laugh at the judgment yeah amen you see it's not the the any bloodless gospel that saves you it's whether or not you've trusted in the blood of Christ that's what saves you there are a lot of to see people who call themselves Christians who think they are saved but they are lost most churches you go to this guy said half of the people in the pews aren't even saved because most of the churches you go to they are preaching a false plan of salvation they are telling you to do something to get saved and what they're telling you is okay now repeat this prayer okay now say this okay now ask just ask God from your mouth to save you oh well you know just uh just repeat this prayer ask Jesus in your heart and they're they're telling you to do something and they're not giving you the true gospel of salvation which is trust and what Jesus did so the question is what are you trusting in what you do or did or what Jesus did as I said before I can't tell who saved a not I don't go around saying this man saved this man's lost this man saved this man look I don't know but I can make a definitive statement according to the scriptures that if a man is trusting in anything other than the blood then he's lost I can say that with 100% accuracy because that's Bible and I'm trying to show you biblically what salvation is according to the Bible we find there's a lot of people that are lost because they've only come to Jesus Christ with the mouth but they never come with faith from the heart Matthew chapter 15 verse 7 look what he says here ye hypocrites well did Isaiah save you saying this people draweth nigh to me with their mouth and honoureth me with their lips but their heart is far from me but in vain they do worship Me teaching for doctrines the commandments of men this false gospel that's being preached today this bloodless gospel is the gospel of telling you to come to God with your lips and with your mouth but they never encouraged you by faith from the heart to trust in what Jesus did they tell you to trust in yourself and what you do and they say now if you do that then you're safe now go around and boast go around tell everybody you're saying because you did that do you see how that's a different plan of salvation in a man who's lost thinking he's saved by something he said we'll always say and that's when I got saved because I did this I asked Jesus in my heart I ask God to send me how I called on God I did this III why I seem to remember Satan was the one that said I all those times in Isaiah chapter 14 it's not about what I did that saves me no here's going on repenting so I repented I must be saying no it's whether or not you've trusted in the blood of Christ a lot of folks out there that are lost and they think they're saved because they're holding on to one verse so Sarah's a couple maybe the Lord and then they're twisting that verse to teach that verse means that if I did that then I'm saved oh so you're trusting what you did oh you're trusting in your works I got it you've exposed yourself you told me the jury loves man thank you think now trust the blood and get saved and they will all be happy amen Acts chapter 28 verse 27 again I'm not paired for singling out any specific person I've met so many over the years that I'm pretty much bridging to all these people that I run across and there's so many of them so many of them acts 28 27 here we have the Apostle Paul and he gives a verse and he's quoting Jesus Christ and look what he says for the heart of this people is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes have been closed thus they should see with their ears eyes hear with their ears and understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them conversion only comes through understanding you got to hear then you got to understand then comes conversion what is conversion salvation a false convert is someone who with their lips or their mouth came close to God but their hearts far from him a true convert is someone who's heard the gospel understood oh it's all what Jesus did not what I do that saves me then they believe and then they're converted and if you are holding on to something that you do you're lost and there are many people out there that hold on to something they did well I said the prayer and I did this no I asked God I called upon the government about me no look at Jesus you're nothing you need to be completely broken if you will to the point that you understand nothing that you do pleases God he's not even he doesn't he doesn't even look at your repentance he says of your the Bible says that he saw repented and God didn't accept it because he sought it even though he cited carefully with prayer repentance doesn't save you but yet people are trusting in their repentance rather than trusting in Christ rubbish chapter 10 verse 15 notice what it says here how then shall they preach except they be sent as it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things but they have not all obeyed the gospel for Isaiah said Lord who hath believed our report so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God you must first hear the gospel but when you hear it you need to understand and then salvation is by faith faith in what the gospel the blood atonement of Christ you receive the blood atonement by faith that's salvation but yet people go around and they don't preach the gospel rather all they do is preach a lot of times Romans 10:13 losers couples so if you want to save yourself god save me and you're calling on God will say yeah okay I'm a lost carpenter and I'm hammering in nails on a roof and I say oh Jesus when I hit my finger with a hammer guess what I just got saved is there anyone watching me who's gullible enough to believe that that person just got saved my mama tells me she says when I was about 1 or so maybe one and a half she said my first word was Jesus well whosoever shall call upon the name Lord shall be safe so I guess I can go around and tell people that my testimony is I got saved when I was 1 and a half because I called upon Jesus was my first word do you see how ludicrous and stupid that is the Bible is very plain that there must be the preaching of the gospel and it must be that you believe from the heart the gospel and that's when you're safe not enough to just with the mouth do or say something even Rockman made it clear you can call them Lord with the mouth but that's not what saves you it's when you call and you believe in the heart and so that belief in the heart should come later if a person has called with the mouth because they're showing yeah I don't really want to be safe ok now God's the ones gotta be the way to be saying to them well listen we're in 55 minutes Wow time flies almost 55 minutes I wanted to close with this I'm one of the close with people's testimony that I questioned and if I go a little long today that's fine but people's testimony that I questioned what I mean by that is these are the type of people that I wonder are even saved and I can't help but look at them and question whether they're saved or not the first and foremost are the whose testimony doesn't line up with the scriptures those who don't line up with the scriptures first Corinthians 15 those whose testimony does it it's gonna take me a while to write all this up here line up with the scriptures 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 is the gospel we've read that we've looked at that and look what it says there it's twice it says these words the end of verse 3 according to the Scriptures the end of verse 4 according to the scriptures is your testimony according to the scriptures if you give your testimony your testimony is like well you know I was going to hell somebody told me just repeat the sinner's prayer and I didn't want to go to hell so I said o God save me I repeat this prayer please come into my heart Jesus amen I asked where's the rest of your testimony it has to line up with the scriptures and the scriptures say you trust in the blood atonement of Christ when did that take place well I've never heard of the gospel okay then you're insane yet you have not been saved yet you were thinking you're a Christian because you came nigh to God with your lips but your hearts still far from them because you've never by faith from the heart accepted Jesus as your Savior I question those people's salvation second timothy 3:15 and i believe i do correctly when i do and i believe you would do correctly if you would question people's salvation and then take them to the scriptures and try to take them under your wing and say look let me show you the way of the lord more perfectly let me show you how to be saved according the bible it's by faith from the heart trusting in the blood atonement show you to me 3:15 says and that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make thee wise in the salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus you see it's not what some man says that saves you it's the scripture and if you're trusting what the scripture says then you're saved I have explained to you what the Bible sentence the gospel is according to the scriptures now if you are saved then your testimony line up with that you said what's your testimony Robert breaker what's on YouTube you can watch anytime you want my testimony is my father took me to the Bible showed me from the Scriptures first Corinthians chapter 15 1 through 4 in Romans 3:25 and I got saved I trust the blood of Christ and that's when I got safe it's not what I do I finally realized oh Jesus did if I just received that atonement by faith okay Lord I believe and I trusted from my heart people say no you never trusted from your heart and people trying to say Robert breaker doesn't right he didn't know he never did it's just so funny thing you don't know me they try to say you know salvation you have to go through all this first not break it didn't go through anything it's like okay I wish you knew me I had been through a lot in this world in this life and I not lived a privileged life by any means I've been through a lot of things and I just thank God that he gave me a tender heart at an early age and gave me that tender heart and that desire to seek after him and I thank God for July 29th 1992 when I finally got the gospel he got saved I came to God of the list many times but no one instructed me how to believe from the heart and what to believe in and I think God for my dad showing me that and that's when I got saved for Peter 1:23 says being born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever your testimony must be according to the Word of God I questioned the testimony of those whose testimony does not line up with the scriptures that's biblical that's biblical second thing is I I question the testimony of those who don't know they're saved or when they got saved now I don't mean a specific day I mean you can narrow it down to a month approximately you know you know you have to say it was on December 31st of of 1986 I mean maybe you say well I was in the military in 86 so around December I mean you would know when it was that you heard the gospel you might not be able to say the exact day but you could get the exact year if what you're trusting in is in the blood after you heard the gospel but there's people out there and I get contacted by folks a lot a lot of my life has been donated to the ministry I wish I could spend more time with my family and I'm glad that that I'm able to spend as much time as I can with them but while at home with my family people call us all the time and talk to us about salvation and I always hear these people saying brother breaker you know I don't know if I'm saved or not and I just want to call and ask you if you can help me with that and praying about it I mean I'm a Christian I said well what do you mean you don't know if you're saved you see salvation is a no so salvation and they said well I'm saved at least I think I am all sudden I was like red light red light red light you mean you don't know if you're saved you know salvation is like two things in the Bible it's like being born be born again and like getting married being a spouse to Christ I don't know anybody that goes well brother breaker I just don't know if I've been born or not I mean I'm here so but did i hatch out of an egg I don't know if you're alive you know you were born and if you're married you don't wake up in the middle of night and go who's this woman my bed on what happened you know you remember most of the time the day that you got married so salvation should be the same you should know when you got saved go with me to second Timothy 1:12 the Apostle Paul knew 2nd Timothy 1:12 and it says here for the which cause I also suffer these things nevertheless I am not ashamed for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day Paul says I know who saved me and I know I'm saved first time 5:13 says these things have I written unto you that you may know that you have eternal life if you don't know then there's a possibility that you're not saved and what you need to do is you need to find out why and almost every reason that a person has ever told me that they didn't know they were saved is because they've never heard the gospel and never trusted the blood yet and when I explained that to him then they understand then I say okay faith cometh by hearing hearing by the Word of God you know how to hear the gospel understand believe when did you get a gospel well this is the first time I've never heard it before okay when did you get say all right now right now I trust the blood okay well amen let's let's rejoice God cashed in amen but those who doubt their salvation are those who don't know the gospel you know I believe in you now let me show you another I have to be very careful on this one but people's test the test the mone that I questioned are those with no and a lot of stress with alone I really want to put absolutely no but I'll just put no and underline with no fruit of the Spirit there are people out there that claim to be Christians alright if you're a Christian what happens when you get saved is the Holy Spirit of God comes inside of you when the Holy Spirit of God comes inside of you and dwells inside of you then you should have some fruit of the Spirit that's supposed to dwell inside of you one of the fruits of the Spirit will go to Galatians chapter 5 verse 22 Galatians 5:22 says but the fruit of the Spirit is love joy peace long-suffering gentleness goodness faith meekness temperance against such there is no law a man who is truly saved by trusting in the true gospel trusting in the blood atonement Christ he should have joy I've met people that claim to be Christians and they're a bunch of mop heads mopeds however you say it no moping around your area on the Christian they can't even look you in the eye they have no joy whatsoever no peace not happy they don't love anyone they're full of hatred meanness and you look at that and you say how come I got the joy of the Lord and that guy doesn't could it because he's lost now I know there are people who are Christians that don't have the joy of the Lord and it's sometimes that happens Paul he preaches in his epistles he says hey rejoice and again I say rejoice I mean everywhere Paul's going he's reminding people to have joy because it's so easy to lose your joy so I'm not saying that everyone like this is lost but what do you do when you come across a person who claims to be a Christian and you look at all nine of the fruits of the Spirit in verse 22 all nine of them and he doesn't have even one of those fruits makes me wonder if the guys even saved and I love them and I want to see him get saved and I don't know why he doesn't want to get saved it says peace and yet I met people that have no peace all they do is attack it'll it's just are they even saved have they only come to God with the lips and their mouth like the Pharisees of old but they've never trusted from the heart could it be they don't have the Holy Spirit that's why they don't manifest the fruits of the manifests the fruits of the spirit that brings me to my next one those who are easily offended when someone says they're a Christian and I say hey can I give you my testimony and they said no who do you think you are to ask me for my Testament and they're easily offended my first thought is well that's probably not a person a person who gets offended that's you for asking their testimony what's Bible say about being offended well in Psalms 119 165 it says great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them so if you're saved you shouldn't get offended especially when someone asks you for your testimony you should want to share your testimony because it might be a lost person asking you and so if you're truly saved you shouldn't get offended when people ask for your testimony you should want to tell it Jesus says in John 16 1 these things have I spoken unto you that you should not be offended so you should never get offended with someone asks you your testimony but I've met a lot of people in my life lost religious people church-going goers I'm so hey so you go to such a sense of Church all right are you safe how dare you how dare you ask me that it's like well if you claim to be Christian you should want to share it can you give me your testimony I'd like to hear your business and it's just like red red light red light red light there might be a problem there that person just might not be saved finally the last thing I want to say like I said I've got a little bit long but I want you to get a blessing out of this people's testimony that I questioned are those who have it understood completely salvation these people think complete these people think you can lose it that's this crowd people who think you can lose salvation when I hear someone say oh I think you can lose your salvation I think to myself did they ever even understand if you look at the cross if you look at Christ if you look at the blood and you see salvation is all through Christ and his finished work then why would you ever think now I better do good or I'll lose it if you can lose your salvation then you're thinking and it's what I do that keeps me saved a person that thinks that way is a person that thinks they're trying to help God save them and I see a person who hasn't trusted completely in Christ they're trusting a little bit in Jesus but a lot in themselves and that's a person who's made salvation into faith plus works and I look at that I go I wonder if that guy's even saved you see we don't do the saving God saves us we can't help God save us or help God keep us saved either God has saved us completely through his blood atonement or not at all it's one of the other and when you understand salvation you understand that it is eternal life and that eternal life is a gift Jesus Christ and once you're saved you're always saved and you can't lose it so if someone thinks they can lose it my first question is did they even get it and they even understand and get converted there's a misunderstanding there they're thinking in the back of their mind there's somehow I've got to help God save me otherwise I'll go to hell that's someone who didn't get it and I question their sobbing species 1:7 says in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins it's all through Christ all through his blood all through him that forgives us it's not our works that get a saber keep us safe first John 5:11 says and this is the record that God had given to us eternal life and this life is in his son you know an eternal life is its life for all eternity once saved always saved because it's life for all eternity if you could lose that the Jesus Christ is the biggest liar that ever lived because he can't give a turn life he can only give you temporal life that's what it would be if you could lose it it's temporal life no the Bible says it's eternal life let me read verse 20 there first John 5:20 and we know that the Son of God has come and have given us an understanding that we may know him that is true and we are in him that is true even in his son Jesus Christ this is the true God and eternal life salvation there's an understanding involved unless you understand you're lost what I've tried to do today is teach and preach to you that there's a lot of people out there to think they're saved and they're lost my question is are you one of them are you one of those who think they're Christian go around tell everybody I'm Christian I hear some good but you don't even know if you are you have doubts you're one of those people say I think I'm seven but you're trusting in something you did rather than what Jesus did for you you just might be lost and what I'm doing today I'm questioning your salvation and I'm doing it according to the scriptures because it is scriptural for you to examine yourself and see if you're even saved don't go around talking about a you're a Christian and tacking and land blast and put down other Christians if you don't even know you are one yourself you make sure first that you're saved and then when you get saved you practice the fruits of the spirits you have joy peace love brotherly kindness meant meant meekness you be kind to other people and you try to instruct them in the ways of salvation you want to see them saved you don't want to see them go to hell I hope this is a blessing to you if you're lost I'll be get saved I hope you will take what's been presented today and give it to other people I pray that this will help you to know that you're safe if you got say watching this please write to me said brother Berger better help I got safe if you're not saved please get saved if you're one of those that only came to Jesus with the mouth please come to him through the heart by trusting his blood atonement that's it that's the message of hope it's a blessing appreciate your watching and I appreciate everyone and all that you've done for us all your prayers all your support we love you in the Lord that's what we want you to make sure you're saving on your way to heaven god bless you
