I Would've Jumped Out Too, If I Were You! 200ft Backslide

oh my gosh so we got a call for a toyota 4runner up on the barracks trail i think they're stuck at the sand hill he says it's he was worried about it tipping over so we're going to head up there and see if we can get it we got rudy heading out there in his jeep i think he's ahead of us you got jamie hi weather girl weather girl it's like 67 degrees and it's supposed to be about a high of 88. i wish it was cooler like yesterday was well it's awesome it's cooler but yesterday was really cool and we got trevor back there he's going to be swinging a camera and he's probably going to say something ed would say right now we'll get him out he's so good so jamie tells me she's coming on this trip because she has an ulterior motive i'm really just going to see if the deer are moving got to get prepared for deer hunt next month in order to keep from running out of fuel later we're planning ahead and we're putting fuel in the tank right now shocking let me discuss fuel with you really quick while i'm fueling it seems like the appropriate time to bring it up so we get a lot of not a lot but there's a few of you that are quite concerned about the fuel capacity on this rig and that i should carry jerry cans now once again if fuel capacity was the problem then then that would be a great solution but the problem is is i'm not putting fuel and historically i wasn't putting fuel in this tank so if i treated my jerry cans like i treated my tank they would also be empty doing me no good it's been like a whole month since we've run out of gas there's a video coming up that you guys probably already watched by the time you see this where we ran out of gas and coasted into the gas station it was very embarrassing i had i had uh moody and colin with me and neither one of them were impressed milestar patagonia this guy knows this guy knows the desert come in good sir thank you hey lizzy hey what you got island teriyaki it's got pineapple in it so matt doesn't want any i got my cookies pineapple free if it's too much pineappley i won't eat it if there was pineapple in here i'd probably like it okay so this canyon over here is the one we're gonna be driving now uh yeah can't see it we're driving down to mount carmel picking up the customer driving up the canyon going and getting them out all right you don't know what a pleasure this is oh yeah it's like a little kid thank you he introduced me to the channel i was like oh pretty cool i've been watching you guys for four years oh nice four years we were just getting started then so basically we're sideways on red the red sand yep okay we can go get you we made it halfway up and then started going away no i i break going backwards and we went sideways and first thing they did is jump up oh we're not doing this i said i'm out okay ready where'd tucker go you know ever since that gal let that let jack die in the ocean because she wouldn't let him on the board i quit feeling bad about women jack from titanic so ever since that gal let him die i quit feeling bad about cold women when it's hot hey i solved my own problem so you can literally blame what was her name diane jackson so we met the customer there and his party really wants to come on the rescue but it's going to be a pretty tight fit but we're going to see if we can get everybody crammed in the two vehicles we're just going to drive down here a little ways before we load everybody up illegally [Music] [Music] this is [Music] [Music] oh my goodness [Music] yeah you did get off the trail did i can't stop wait what are we going to do oh nobody fell what do you think i deserve that all right came down there was backing down came down through the tree here slid off the edge what was going through your head when you were sliding down this hill apparently my family my family when we were going up i thought i was going to make it i'm like no problem we had momentum but then when we stopped my i screwed up by hitting the brakes and then i seriously thought we were going to flip sideways before we even stopped i think he jumped out the passenger side rear door she's like oh hell no i'm not doing this she jumped out but then she couldn't get out mommy you couldn't get out huh she had to crawl through the driver's side she couldn't get out on this side oh wow yeah because if you just look behind me yeah yeah you gotta if you would like three feet further whatever and i kept saying you know what i'm gonna back up i could do this i could do this that i'm like no that would have been bad i just bought i just bought her you know i don't even have the plates yet you know that's a scary ride i'm sure coming off of that yeah yeah holy smokes okay you want to try to connecticut yeah connecticut it is connecticut do we have any fans in connecticut comment if you're from connecticut all right so this is what we're gonna do rudy's grabbing his jeep because he doesn't want to run back up hill to get it so he's probably gonna take it down there and then run back up here a lot of running back and forth we're just gonna spin this around and pull it we don't care if it goes down there or up on this road we do care if it rolls so we're gonna try to keep it from rolling okay it's surprising to get into a toyota that doesn't have a trouble code for driving in the sand okay turn your wheel to the right you might need to give a little bit of gas is that such an angle that the seat belts actually lock up and you can't put them on nice well oh my gosh feels fine honestly i've been in worse yeah this isn't that bad um are you seeing air down jamie this these tires could be a foot and a half off the ground before that reaches the point of balance yeah so if we just if we just slowly go forward rudy um i'm thinking about maybe even if we can get you forward another like five feet then i'll just cut down there well i've got my winch i'm just let out well let's let's go another foot forward and see what happens yeah i like about where your wheels are it looks worse than it is oh my gosh oh my holy cow holy cow that is crazy oh my gosh yes no well you're gonna have to cut the other way and back up i think to get going no it probably looked worse than it felt i might have felt scary inside trying to fix the trail fix the truck [Music] see how much sand is in my shoes it makes the difference and then you just put your sock in the sand oh my gosh it was just in the sand in my bed i know yeah don't put your foot down thank you very much it wasn't sketchy what do you think trevor it was a little bit sketchy man there got there it looked like it was going to slide backwards off the edge and we pulled it out but i thought it was gonna flip over on the way so she was she removed herself from the situation because she just couldn't handle it she was a ball of nerves true story thanks for watching
