I was challenged to beat Mario Odyssey with kitchen utensils

hello what's up guys we're gonna play some Odyssey today yesterday Hale boat suggested we do an oven mitt run so what we're doing today is we are going to cook up a very hot speedrun it's I'm just gonna beat Super Mario Odyssey as fast as I can I could take the easy way out and use a pro/con but now we're gonna use the joy guns with the tiny buttons oh my god this is weird dude okay so fail boat said he would give me a hundred bucks if I can beat it in under three hours I'm gonna like try and do it in under two cuz honestly this isn't that bad I think you know okay are you guys ready for an oven mitt speedrun I press the button by accident I wasn't ready yet the timer isn't even going gotta admit this is gonna be entertaining Oh yep are you guys ready let me just okay we're good the run is started honestly this is just gonna look like someone's for a speedrun let's practice a little bit I wouldn't be surprised if this is like a 130 that's the pause button that's what well I'm not moments where my hands are just like I know what I need to do and then my hand just start doing them and I start playing really well that part right there after the shop is one of them this run is press the buttons on the back but then I have to like hold them in between my hands really hard to the point where it's making my like uh my arms sore you know got the fat strat let's go I'll take that oh okay okay we're doing the super beginner way of getting up here then cuz I messed up the cool fast rat nailed it nailed it first try boys you want to see that water okay ah okay it's so hard just like you focus and you got it thank you oh no he's cheating what is he gonna do we're gonna have to make a slight detour for reasons I will explain when we get to it okay we need to go into the shop and we need to buy a moon was I going in here to buy a moon in the first place nope I wasn't we're getting on a new costume my friends we're cooking up a run look at us we're cooking now boys now we will travel so much faster Mario and I are in perfect sync you know what I haven't done in a long long time this left side right I have it tipped into the wall you didn't know that cliff existed it's good there's not used very often these days good come on come on stop no my thumb so fat dude no all right it's gonna take some focus if we die here we lose like three minutes we cannot afford to do moon Kingdom in ten minutes if we got the sub 1:30 but my hands are so warm this run is too hot now we got to do moon skip moon skip requires some precision it's like one of the most precise tricks I'll do in this entire run first right haha first try my friends easy I'm doing spin pound roll cancel jumps in the middle of this flight with oven mitts on by the way if you aren't noticing those aren't easy Oh Bowser you've got me now it's the matter of jumping [Music] Oh Bowser fight done get your XD's loaded up there we go whoa XD oh my god that's an XD skip ok here we go here we go walk into the finish as we complete the run sub 1:30 easy peasy my friend easy alright let's finish it off super mario odyssey done wearing oven mitts 1 hour 25 minutes and 17 seconds let's go alright fail both scream 5000 bits I'm a man of my word you blew this away you cooked your meal but now can you eat it a hundred and fifty bucks to beat Odyssey using fork and spoon slash chopsticks in under two shoulder button not to press that button again before the animation is done like it's ridiculous to do a cab jump it's actually insane doing a cab jump with a single chopstick is nuts uh-huh you guys see that ground pound jump cab jump oh okay that worked the dice are insane hahaha did you guys see how often the chopstick slips off a little frustrating that works I just have to like throw the chopsticks that my controller for it to do it I can understand how artists have hand problems holding something like this for hours I'm holding it like this with like two seconds in its life a little uncomfortable it's basically what we have to do is like full of casual strats that's run how many find a cap challenge run live what's up curvy fan welcome to the stream we're playing Odyssey ROM that you kind of need to prove that you're actually playing with chopsticks I feel like some people might come to the stream and not actually realize what's going on yeah god this is gonna be tough we're gonna have to wall jump up this weight like it just use a gushin what am i doing all right is this how like drawing streams feel like on a drawing stream would be so weird anyone here do any art streams recently is this what it feels like or like looks like foot off camera is this just your average art stream ask shoe I think shoe might be sleeping or lurking should I take the pro/con down now that's with tape and chopsticks my dude and took a break for that one ah just stabbing motions with my hands he's done it do I use joique on a pro/con um I use a chopsticks actually simple pair of chop cons yep thank you this might work let me just try this my work okay yo it worked okay good good good good is that like a big brain strat right there you guys see how thick my brain was I'm a little bit concerned about XD honestly if we fail the two and a half hours because we fail likes D skip a few times I'm not actually not gonna be too upset though really appreciate my commitment to XD skip hey I am legally required I would not do that to you guys if I if I thought about where I was gonna be last year and like I saw a picture of me now I'd be like what is he doing and then I think about it I'd be like you know what no I'm okay with this I'm okay with this still have an hour easy hits the end is the hardest she's that ha ha man that is tough that's a lot of friggin inputs with a chopstick dude well that was like pum pum pum pum pum for just back and forth between the two if I meet anyone alive who to be um the most successful person that has equal intelligence to myself not some like super genius but just unlike average person that has like had some incredible success not due to luck but of their own skill and merit and learn what they've done I think that's what I would say now this fight I really hope it doesn't take more than one try I feel like it only is gonna take one try cuz it's not that hard someone who has success but didn't really have to work for it I don't really have anything to learn from them right someone who just has like some incredible like natural talent isn't gonna be able to help me at all because they've never had to learn how to get through it right it's just it's just been there for them short it's an average person they've had some success they've had to work for it without having luck right okay we usually make this on one site for nice that was a very good fight that was fantastic honestly I feel like if anyone gets slower than I don't want to be mean but anyone that does a speedrun it and gets a slower time than me using chopsticks like you you're either gonna have to seriously look at yourself and say what am I doing wrong or they're gonna have to like just call it a day with speed running you know if I can be to run faster than you with chopsticks you're doing something wrong you got it you got it like it's with chopsticks if you're doing your first Peter without a root I could understand that but if you like if you know the root you know which moons to get and it takes you over that amount of time I think it's a little a little bit I I could fully understand if someone didn't know the root that that is the one thing that I will say if you don't know the root yet and your first run is you while you're learning the root that I can understand that that is definitely reasonable check this out [Music] fun fact I did this fight faster with chopsticks than I did with oven mitts on that fight was nuts lmao what happened Condor I don't know nothing crazy I'm just beating the game with chopsticks there's another average day my friend just another day in the life of ant mmm chops ticking away this is going way better than I expected but I mean the mech fight is always the hardest part of a eat the brutal x' for breakfast dee-licious hmm all right 30 minutes to complete moon I got this moment of truth here we go can we get it first try I sure freakin hope so dude first try easy every time good I'm too good at this game dude oh I'm amazed that was first strike I mean we still have XD skip to do which is not gonna be easy but still that was like I think the hardest part you've underestimated my skill twice my skill knows no bounds you give me a time and I won't crush it I bow is done here we go one two three and then one more and the boss fights over just like that basically the hardest thing to do is to change direction with the control sticks with the chop stick and the thing is that's kind of all XD skip is it's changing direction in midair you have one try basically so if the chop stick slips off the control stick at any point during this I'm kind of just screwed very controlled here one two one two okay one two get them ready but don't use them too early XD on the first try oh my god dang dude I did the XD I actually don't understand how I'm doing this oh alright let's finish this bad boy off just over two hours that will give me 25 subs oh my god fail bow thank you for the 25 subs dude welcome to the aircon you 25 people fail boat who thank you well that's it get ready oh no come on you gotta leave come on stop slipping off that's it oh
