I Survived On $0.01 For 1 Week

six days ago i basically materialized in this little town in texas with this penny my goal is simple survive here for a week by buying and selling my way to the end i started by buying a pen for a penny selling it for a buck and honestly the rest is history it's historical the rest of this i was doing some quick maps over the last six days we have made 376 dollars and 82 cents which sounds really nice and insane until you realize i spent like 300 of it most of that came from from like buying a bike and a hammock and a motel room and well the twenty make chickens that nourished my body this week in addition to that i walked more than a marathon biked almost 50 miles writing for my life over here told 172 dad jokes went to dollar general 17 times and the craziest thing the coolest thing we raised over 17 thousand dollars and 68 000 meals on youtube for people in need through the series and because of one absolute savage my guy i'm inspired to break that 100 000 meal mark this one's for you quinn fair warning this episode is really weird it's strange and that's because my goal from the beginning was to spend the final day like as a tourist in this town i'm gonna spend all my money and the first thing we're buying is a lottery ticket [Music] let's do it i also bought some mentos i really like these fruit mentos here we go sorry if you can get the chance either you win or you don't right i always forget odds work like that it's like 50 50. so the game plan is to go get some coffee at java ranch and just have ourselves a day it's the final day i've got some money in five things i would buy right now that shirt that says daddy's big tough guy i could wear it honestly it's about it i'm just gonna get one more for old time's sake let's go get a steak if anything screams i'm living lavish it's going to the one restaurant in this town that doesn't sound like a german dude sneezing i'm looking at you asslander i'm going i'm going to k-bobs uh check the sign i'm waiting on the weight to send i just bought chips in case i'm not adding 223 per ounce that's a better deal give you a slight discount if you want to get more damn bro i don't even remember what life was like can i get the six ounce sirloin of medium rare that's gonna be it thanks so much you know how we rock is fake certainly big big mistake not big space might be the loudest music available loudest speakers you could possibly get a lean in so i don't get demonetized all right here's here's the legitimate plan right now after this i'm gonna have about 40 after tips 40 some odd dollars i've been on turo you guys know turo it's essentially not this isn't a brand deal and i don't know if you remember yesterday i think it was yesterday i saw this vehicle these things are crazy what is that thing that thing is sick my goal is to make enough money so tomorrow i can drive one of those and i i don't know what it was until now i found it on this app so i've been negotiating with this guy seeing if if i could give him forty dollars to let me write it for like two hours just around fredericksburg i'm thinking he's most likely gonna let us do it the sun is like gonna set eventually at the end of the day does he want 40 or nothing i guess there are some liabilities that come with just renting it out to kids i'm not a kid though dustin i don't know why i'm acting like this speeding so much by going 20 miles an hour dude i should blast on copyright music can you can you do this i can't believe this happened dude i'm nervous i'm literally going 15 miles an hour it sounds so loud it's starting from a penny starting from a pity baby we are able to rent this bad boy for two hours at the end of the week now that's the story i think i'm gonna go right where we started marketplace [Music] dude this is so crazy this is like absolutely insane that's crazy hey well guys i honestly feel weird i don't really know what to do right back where we started it's been exactly one week here in fredericksburg texas nick you're here for like two days what was that like exhausting exhausting if i lived here i don't know what i would feel my days with selling jokes every day selling jokes i'm really glad we did it though i'm super satisfied with how it went my biggest hope is that this was successful in fundraising and we had a good turnout we're gonna be doing a minecraft charity stream we're gonna be raising money for central texas food bank i'm super excited about that to be more specific this friday may 21st i'm doing the minecraft charity stream so far we've raised almost 30 thousand dollars just through the youtube fundraiser and i have fun milestones where if we hit them we do cool stuff i'll shotgun another diet dr pepper like if we raise a certain amount we're gonna facetime quinn and this is kind of crazy but if we raise an additional 70 000 and hit that 100k mark i will literally get a tattoo of a penny on my body i never i never thought i would ever get a pet a tattoo ever so be there it's gonna be amazing it's gonna be fun and if you're too late go go watch see how much we raise maybe i have a tattoo that'd be absolutely
