I Survived Using Only Minecraft's "Crafting Guide"

howdy today i'm surviving on only minecraft recipes minecraft is a game but it kind of depicts reality i don't know i'm talking like this look in order to make this bed i had to go chop down a tree shear some sheep for wool and tea bag a villager well i didn't have to teabag the villager but i can do whatever i want but here's my bed and here's my real life version of that bed which is extremely uncomfortable but what about the hundreds of other crafting guides in this game can i survive on these things alone that's my question will i find a villager to tea back also i'm at my dad's house because we wanted to hang out this weekend so he's gonna be doing this with me this truck is busting so my dad really doesn't know anything about minecraft at all doesn't know much about anything to be fixed dad do you know what this is white tape tic-tac-toe it's not tac toe this is a crafting table okay it's a crafting table so essentially this crafting table allows us to make whatever we want if we had uh three diamonds and two sticks we could make a diamond pickaxe okay we could make a diamond sword so that's what this allows us to do and we didn't get this from home depot right we didn't go there today we never went there we went we went to no we didn't we uh we went to the forest all right dad do you have any idea who i'm dressed like right now sales guy no you know steve you don't finger in the car door when i was trying to run into chili's that's survival so next up what we're going to be making is the the renowned minecraft golden apple and if you if you've seen how what the minecrafters so this minecraft hack that a lot of people don't know about it's insane all right all you do you just take a cobblestone put it here then you take any calculator you'd find put it in the middle and if you do it right you should have a ford f-150 get in loser no cab this truck is busting all right no caps let's go fishing [Music] all right as you can see here i've made i put three best man win oh these poles they don't make them like they used to whoa whoa there's nothing on it nothing dang you're telling me we have the same results and i've got this minecraft poll i got this 12 walmart special the data's pointing to the fact that minecraft pulls just as good so chad you did catch something here yeah yeah i got a freshwater drum ah i don't know about you but i'm about to switch to creative mode we're back at the house how do you think you make a steak in minecraft this is a crafting table this is not a broiler i mean how do you make it how do you think you make the steak trick question don't you dare do that need a furnace he has a grill you like to grill smoker oh he has a small whoa we've got some steaks here absolutely we just we just slayed a cow outside and then this is how we got it that it just dropped it two cows actually it should be about five seconds for it to cook yeah while he's on steak duty i'm gonna be in the bakery y'all always said i got that cake well it's time to prove it that's disturbing this is actually what i was looking forward to the most out of this whole minecraft whatever i'm doing here trying to make a cake out of minecraft the rap minecraft recipe a minecraft cake is pretty simple it's three buckets of milk two pieces of sugar on either side of an egg and three bundles of wheat somehow this generates a cake now in reality we i don't know if that i don't think that's gonna work i don't know if that's gonna work we're gonna find out i'm also going to make cookies and essentially that is two bundles of wheat with cocoa beans in the middle so that's what we're doing oh my gosh she's putting the steak on one sec hey dot oh my goodness how do we tame her we need bones we need bones all right here we go steak going in the furnace all right about five seconds should be done you know i've always wanted to get into baking three glasses of milk beautiful then you got sugar and wheat i said those backwards people always said i look like a young gordon ramsay well i'm about to put it to the test it doesn't look like a bundle of wheat but it'll do it'll suffice i don't even know how to obtain bundles of wheat so bucket of milk bucket of milk bucket of milk egg sugar sugar wheat wheat wheat beautiful and voila oh it didn't work i thought there was going to be a cake there my dad's cringing over there we're gonna put the ingredients in this here contraption and we're gonna put in the oven egg i'm so sorry another glass of milk that's a lot of that this is so much milk so this wheat is what allows the allows it to rise there's that sugar what makes it taste good it's low this honestly looks kind of good put me on cake wars that's our minecraft cake pre oven thanks guys so now you want to put it in the furnace and don't worry dad i'll share while that cake is baking in the oven i'm going to make some cookies now on minecraft apparently if you take two pieces of wheat and put some cocoa beans in the middle you get eight cookies which is that's insane how that makes any sense what so i don't know we're gonna try it all right guys so for the cookies we got these cocoa beans they're extremely rare actually like we had to go to whole foods these are cocoa beans i could plant these right now and they would grow it smells very weird in here right now i don't know what's happening in that oven right now but it can't be legal i don't want to look the cocoa beans where are you going guys got the cocoa beans there whole wheat right there beautiful and voila yeah i didn't okay this might work [Music] it's done what the heck was that the eight cookies are going in all right about 20 minutes later it smells like something is on fire so we're gonna check the oven mmm wow kind of crazy we'll let it set for a bit it's probably just gotta like you know wow there it is couple steaks huh all right so we can have these and then we'll have this for dessert so you know nothing about minecraft but normally it's not as fine dining is what we're experiencing here just eat them with their bare hands ah gosh i feel like a barbarian right now it's really good like actually now that i think about it you can eat like six imagine 60 of these things oh thank you you know what we should like let you play minecraft and see how far you get do it go cut down a tree there you go oh that block's too high for you he's saying i'm short well done it's a weird looking tree it is you have to hold the button down left click nice you got it you got a log what's up with the cactus oh gosh oh thanks oh my goodness oh that's a log yeah that's the drill oh oh man oh no he's got a flashlight oh no where are you sounds like i've been [Music] okay so we had some dinner we had some fun uh but i think it's time for dessert this is the cake does look different from minecraft but i think that's just like you know here goes nothing [Music] that is incredible it actually wasn't as disgusting as i expected it tastes good it's like flavor i mean it tastes like cake try it come try it mister i'm lactose intolerant i eat all your food no cap this is busting he's recording try to make a bed earlier so our neighbor just cut down a massive oak tree for their building a warehouse or something i said hey let me get my hands on those oaks i've got an idea this is i mean this is actually insane it looks these are massive do you realize how hard it was to get these here these are what how much how heavy do you think these are 100 pounds 200 pounds the crafting table is long gone i don't even know where that thing is we've got three logs here and i've actually got three bundles of wool right down the corner definitely from sheep that live here i don't know if i've ever seen a sheep a shep wait is sheep is that plural or is that so here we've got a beautiful minecraft bed let's see if i can even get on it bro what happens if at midnight this thing just rolls away i'm not gonna sleep on this there's been multiple times throughout this video where i've just sort of zoned out just reflecting on how i'm a grown man this is a crafting table and these are 100 definitely just wood wood logs that i got from outside this is 100 not a mattress topper that i cut into squares it's just it just this that is wool beautiful well guys this is my bed and i even you know this is the blanket i think this looks legit it looks this actually looks like a minecraft bed kind of does that not look kind of that's like wait that was actually kind of good oh gosh i anticipate this bed to be a little bit more comfortable will you tuck me in appreciate that good night you don't have any monsters around here do ya no monster is good i'll be able to fall asleep then i'm not even gonna lie i'm probably gonna sleep on the couch but you know what there's there's still one more thing that i really want to try to make got all the ingredients but i have to wait until morning guys ready for a transition good morning slept on the couch so i apologize i do it's morning you know what that means i'm really curious to see if this works i look like a drunken man [Music] well that's kind of gross i think we know why there's no coffee shops in minecraft this mug makes me look so small and i am i am [Music] it tastes like dusty water
