I Metal Detected 100 Miles of Beach

on my 9th birthday my dad surprised me with a metal detector the conversation went a little like this [Music] that's right it's a sad story but now i'm old enough to buy plane tickets and i'm metal mile 3 i found something crazy that has the potential to change my life forever gosh oh what the heck what is that a nokia unless caveman had phones it's more of a metal brick it's probably nothing but if it's gold though at roughly six pounds here's the value of this metal brick based on what it possibly is yeah that's quite the range we will find out what it is i'm taking all of my stuff to a pawn shop at the end of this video it's gotta be worth something mile 4 started to realize that there's a lot of shoes on the beach there's just single shoes what like only one shoe at a time which is really weird my o5 had me questioning my abilities to survive out here on this journey because whatever destroyed this thing can definitely destroy me what is this mile 7 was cool i liked mile 7. oh what is this found a nut i actually don't know if this is called a nut but i wanted to say that when i got some more populated areas i was like you know what i should probably zigzag and scan this entire thing and one hour later all i found was literally 10 cents so that didn't work 13 miles in we get our first thing that honestly might actually be worth a lot of money is it just me or is this a gold ring on mile 15 i found a penny washed it off and admired it a little bit then i got to a slightly more populated beach you lose anything yeah minus keepers then iphone xs 12 it wasn't an iphone xs 12. after doing a bit of running my metal detectors started going crazy when someone stopped and asked me why i was metal detecting i said it just made sense ma'am the beach is not a coin purse how's it going all right guys we've been going for almost 12 hours we're gonna be doing a haul of everything we found so far and first thing we got a suntan what do you call fish with no eyes i don't know ups i hope you guys enjoyed that prank i have some terrible news however there were some major ramifications you see that that's one flip-flop my dad is gonna be so mad at me at this point it's a question of my integrity am i gonna oh there it is i found it alright back to work [Applause] at some point in the dark of the night i found something extremely rare metallic rock the chosen one i sound insane i'm naming it duane the rock i'm going to bed [Music] they say the early bird gets the worm i hope that applies to humans and metal detecting [Music] mile 30 brought me the biggest hole i've ever seen in my life and i've seen some big holes bro i'm hitting bedrock over here at this point i'm a professional excavator and i'm assuming that i've completely just entirely found pirate treasure and you will never guess what i found two bottle caps it's mile 32 and i'm not gonna lie morale is low so i need to remember why i do this it's to pass dr phil and subscribers if you've kept up with this saga you know that i've never had a grandpa before and i can't think of a much better grandpa than dr phil himself after tons of emails his agent finally agreed to let me contact him if we pass him in youtube subscribers but something insane happened this past week i was in la and i literally ran into dr phil i was too nervous to ask him to be my grandpa so i just i just took a photo with him look how nervous i look in this photo i look completely devastated in terms of subscribers we are literally gaining on him rapidly i'm not even sure he knows he has a youtube channel please subscribe we can end this i started running because i wasn't finding anything but trash for miles no like you don't understand how much trash is on our beaches i would say 98 of the things i found were all trash litter or metallic junk and i'm not talking about iron man's crotch right now the entire internet is trying to rally and clean up 30 million pounds of trash from our oceans it's called team seas check it out at mile 37 i realized you know what i i think i'm on a college campus yep no 100 confirmed 99 of my loot here beer bottle blades we're at the halfway mark and i'm pretty happy with my loot where's dwayne dwayne you know the rock johnson last night i don't know where i put dwayne but at this point i'm actually i'm actually sad like real life sad that was my only companion on this journey but you know what they say for every time that you lose the dwayne the rock johnson you find you might you might find um i found airpods here [Music] are these yours okay is this y'all's case i literally thought this was my case and they just fell out of my pocket but i have mine [Music] airpod case oh great but this friend of mine was down here like last week we found a freaking diamond ring no i was finding mostly mile 45 i found what looks to be a medieval baby bottle pop as well as flaming hot cheetos bags there's also a really cool looking hat on the ground but there's no way i'd be a that much of a freak to pick it up and wear it please don't judge me hey it's no trespassing idiot at mile 52 i found a pen at mile54 i found what looks to be the remains of a lost battle and then ironically i found an army and an opposing army i don't know what happened there but at this point my feet are screaming but i have some good news we have made it close to miami beach not much metal on the beaches over here mostly because i think they're really nice and clean it makes sense i didn't find much but this might be gold foil i don't i don't think so
