I Bought an Abandoned Storage Unit and Was SHOCKED To Find This!

i think we struck it huge and why i mean huge i mean this is possibly the best storage unit all right everyone welcome back to the channel another day here another video another vlog uh people have requested for more storage unit videos here in the late fall early winter um and i know a lot of people enjoyed the last video so i went ahead and purchased another storage unit online this one unlike the last one wasn't a second chance offer i actually bought this straight out uh for 120 plus buyers premium so it came out to like 134 maybe 133 but 120 bucks is what i bid on it um and yeah i spent 120 for this unit and unlike other units i've purchased this unit is not completely packed it's not a huge unit and i bought it because it looked very neat organized there was a playstation 3 guitar hero or rock band big console like right in front and on the last unit i did find a lot of video games and did very well with that so i'm hoping this unit is also another maybe more of a collection of a gamer unit maybe some nintendo stuff some sega stuff who knows we'll see what happens so 120 bucks let's make it a good one you guys ever curious about what these storage units look like what's inside we're going to do that let me see what's inside this storage unit and what do we buy for 120 bucks let's do it all right moment of truth i here like these locks that's what i want that is what i bought for 120 dollars hopefully it's good all right so now that i look at it i really hope there's 120 worth of stuff here um i saw right off the bat 40 bucks uh just probably between this that and that uh if it's there and the boxes are just empty or filled with garbage because we all know how storage units have been um that looks like a picture frame or a mirror it's probably a mirror probably hangs on the back um one thing with this photo so that some of these companies it looks like they move stuff around they hide stuff um for this photo it was just like this or like that i should say so you couldn't really see what's in that bin and you couldn't really see what's in this box some places will go like this and take a photo some will take a photo like that some might even take a photo like that so you have a general idea of what you know might be in it this one was literally just one photo which is bonkers right now uh on some of these storage viewing sites there's one in new jersey i know i'm kind of people probably want to see what's in this stuff just trying to give you guys a little background on how these things work there's one in new jersey where they literally just open the door like two feet and just fill the boxes and like a table and it's like a 10 by 30. that's the only photo it's literally you can see two feet of the whole storage unit two feet high so kind of crazy with what these companies do but let's jump into it let's see we grabbed all right so i guess we'll just work from left to right um i figure those bins are probably empty i bid on this unit thinking this is maybe all nintendo stuff so maybe you got like 100 150 worth of stuff in there there's maybe 20 games we're good and i figured that the plastic bins were empty order just filled up of just toys like that i don't know what kind of toy that is but the toy box is ten dollars a piece 10 15 bucks a piece but let's start off with looks like an rc car and a brand new sharp personal organizer just one of the ones that talk to you i don't think so maybe it does i don't know if that has any value might be an ebay piece this one says laundry detergent and this is one thing you kind of can't really gamble on so like with the playstation box there i'm thinking it's in there i mean it could be an empty box it can be completely nothing this one says laundry detergent it looks like we have a spider how's there's a spider in here that's one thing also i paid a little bit more on this because it's a climate control generally when i've been doing these storage units climate control units generally have uh cleaner better quality inventory there's really not that much dirt on it as you can see this box is pretty clean i can't tell you i know a lot about this looks like wooden trains whole train setup i i don't even know if this is this is old no it can't be because there's a sticker on it brio whatever brio is i don't know that's one thing i don't really know i mean i know a little ho scale all that kind of trains lying now uh do we want to go through nintendo box i don't know if i want to be disappointed yet because right now we're looking at what between these two boxes i don't know what that stuff so we're finding what the organizers were we got like maybe 15 bucks 20 bucks maybe still gotta make about 100 more it's going to probably be a quick quick video i don't see too much going on here um let's go through the bin we'll work left to right oh this doesn't say anything says 1095. what do you think's in there records video games what's that all right so what do we have in here this is a puzzle now it's a game called inflation when inflation looks like this guy's a business guy it looks kind of salty right now so it must be some sort of oh there you go it's some sort of business game property of d chuss don't know who d chus is uh 1977. all right all right rush hour one and two that's a good movie anyone seen rush hour i haven't seen rush hour in years and by years i mean probably at least 10 years yep got both of them the last storage unit i got so many let me put this like this i got so many i mean so many dvds these are pretty common i don't know if the animals are here it doesn't look like it seems pretty empty a couple dollars a bag of assorted army men toys what is that guys anyone know what that guy is he looks very very familiar very very familiar we have what looks like a starting lineup as well i think these are trolls high school tinker toys space explorer set not too sure about that we have a random plane at the bottom we got uh this is when i come to me in about uh what's gonna say probably two hours this guy goes with someone else why is that it's not sylvester i don't know it's not coming to me nobody got this well i feel like they always find this usually it's the window insulation kit not the patio door there's just some random stuff at the bottom looks like a wrench which is a wrench i don't know why you'd have a wrench in here but and a plane that just completely fell apart i think this that might be the blade all right all right we'll go through what i hope is the nintendo box i'm scared to pull this up because i know one of two things it's gonna be completely garbage or it's gonna meet all my expectations because i'm pretty sure this is what nintendo power pad so it's gotta be i see a bunch of paper which we'll see well it's not nintendo games it's not super nintendo games but it is a bunch of comics that's one thing i do not know much about this says batman one dollar pull this out here all right so i'm gonna put this oh put this to the side because well let me see what this is this is one of those things that i think you can do like the running game on speaking of the running game just had a flashback to the remember when that running man was a trend doing the running man that might be backwards all right so it looks like all sorts of comics these look like newer ones conan sega that's two dollars and 25 stats definitely a new one they have a year on them 2.25 cents 1985. that's kind of crazy i didn't know comics were that expensive in 1985 i still thought they were maybe a dollar or 50 cents 75 cents didn't think they'd be 2.25 a bunch of comics a lot of them okay so these are ducktale books you guys might remember i think i found ducktale records don't remember how i'm in the trash or have a storage unit but these are books so they might go to be honest i have no idea where those are we have a camping canteen more comics more comics this is a top two or something that's uh well you can't see that maybe you can it's like a bloomingdale's holy comics marvel's pretty decent see that's 50 cents how much was this made if there's like a superman one in here or whatever it is that's worth a gillion dollars i'm definitely probably decreasing the value of how i handle things 1988 looks like so 1988 first date it's almost like boy scout stuff boy scout stuff mixed in with comics i have no idea what that's that's just some decoration thing oh was not a box of nintendo stuff but i think between the comics like the random boy scout stuff whatever this is what is this patches now a belt this looks like a seat belt off an airplane tell me it doesn't look like the seat belt you use on airplane i don't think i've ever even seen one of those there's gotta be at least low end 10 bucks here 15 bucks if this was storage wars or pawn stars i'd say this box is worth about 400 dollars but um i just know comics from the 80s probably aren't worth too much all right this was the box that was below the box of nintendo stuff or well the nintendo box i might have just got a peek into what's in that bin and it looks very exciting but back to this box looks like a couple computer games this is why i feel like this isn't that old well it's for pc it's in there a couple call of duty computer games halloween hockey masks this thing looks cool this is dvd a book animated series batman to go along with the ducktales theme i've got some ducktales cassettes don't know if this has any value well it doesn't show golden classic premium beer all that spotting all that spying looks like mold which might just rub off but yeah it just needs to be wiped down who knows if it works it's uh it's a clock so a little beer advertisement clock we have what looks like a magazine batman auction life likes batman and then wow that's quite cool looks like an older one official collector's edition return of the jedi hey star wars people out there do a little nostalgia flip that was it always count on a tablet don't know what that is this might be of interest it says pokemon oh wow right off the back got a hologram or maybe they're all holograms scyther 1995 1996 1998 1999 so i think this is one of the original ones i should probably go through this and see if there's a charizard in there machop i remember that guy that's an original one has to be i'll save that for maybe another video um i doubt there is a charizard in there it'd probably be probably be taken out but pokemon cards and sports cards are all the rage right now and if you have a psa graded 10 uh charizard that would be your pokemon card um you can pretty much pay for your college and someone else's college for four years or maybe just buy a house whatever you like to choose moment of truth so i think i got a little peek back there and i want to say one thing i said i spent 120 bucks on the storage unit i spent 120 but someone else bit 110 so with a unit that's pretty much covered one photo there's some crazy things out there right now right now there's a storage room about 50 miles from here maybe like 40 miles but if you do like the 50 mile radius it pops up it's literally a garbage bag two shoe boxes and a tote and it's at a hundred dollars so who knows what who knows what and who knows who so uh i wanna i don't know if you wanna see what's in this thing first or should i just give you a little glimpse at uh maybe i can just move this which i think is a mirror that or a box i don't know what that is oh it's a toy you don't know what these storage units maybe i can do a little oh what was that can you guys see what's in oh what was that i think we struck it huge and what i mean huge i mean this is possibly the best storage unit who knows it can be just boxes you guys see that you see a little red square down there you guys know what that might be this thing is full whatever this is cool you can't even see it there oh yeah did i say castle was that say i can't read that it's upside down it's blurred out holy cow what's the bottom one look like oh my goodness these don't look like the newer ones they don't look like minecraft they don't look like the really old ones which the really really old ones really don't fetch that much this might be the era that is most collectible let's hope they're not just boxes i might cry if they are probably should see what's in here i don't know how you open this thing i had one like this but i don't know why i thought i had one that was a guitar hero for the beatles like i had it forever and it's kind of funny the last origin i bought was literally all ps3 nintendo ds stuff which is one of the reasons why i kind of bought this because i thought that box be all nintendo no idea oh this might be a pain to put back up there it is what is that it's that bite out again that it's your game looks like the whole thing's there all right so i guess i'll remove whatever these things i really [Applause] to hide this behind a mirror kind of scared me um i have no idea what this goes to and i'm pretty sure i had one of these probably about a year ago but i no clue this could be one of the biggest finds that i'll ever have in storage unit history and i'm not even joking about that it's just a matter i feel kind of light i feel kind of white but there's not that many in here the bottom one looks packed um i didn't have many sets as a kid but i had made like just you know like you know you play with legos when you're a kid i lots of like just mini-figs and just random parts but i never had like box sets like this is this is insane and i think this is the same era i'll give this a flap see if it's in there oh yeah it is holy cow even has the manual this plastic has been busted out usually his plastics all ripped who even keeps the boxes that's one thing this looks like a ufo um just off top my head i don't see any where's the helmet right there the helmet for one of these guys i think they're that guy have no idea what these sets are like these smaller sets can be like 30 50 60 bucks i know sealed insane price if you want to look up lego sets look up like lego castle look up um that's about all i know leo castle i think wild no not wild west um but look at like sealed like steal anything like even video games like video games from the 90s sealed i mean you're talking you're multiplying i just looked at that one you're multiplying this thing by like six whatever your price is six or eight so you're making you know six hundred dollars as opposed to a hundred dollars what is this that's all there and more boxes now those well these aren't the original bags those are ziploc bags hopefully this bring back some nostalgia for other people i mean this is i don't really remember this stuff i can't remember this uh not the space uh the police the fire maybe there's one in here that i see no it looks like castles or something not castles i wish it was or star wars that's why i don't remember this one is that technics maybe like one techniques remember when technics just started to come out too this is radio control is that all for that one wow that is an insane score i mean these things can be 200 bucks a box in your condition right here i mean it's gonna be a thousand dollars just in this one bin like i don't know if this is it what do you say and why did somebody else bid 110 on what looked like two empty bins and three boxes the only reason why i've been honest because i did so well with the last one with the ps3 and all the games and everything else i saw a ps3 box i figured hey look we'll take a gamble maybe some playstation 3 stuff in here maybe nintendo stuff there was neither and we got this somewhere we'll see what's in the bottom one hopefully they're in there too and we're not just talking about i mean i can see their big sets which are awesome uh probably sucks to ship them but for two hundred dollars i'm gonna ship them um yeah there you go i remember that police i knew there'd be there's police there's probably like a rescue why do i think there was like a fire one with a fire truck then of course the early i think the late 80s they had the castle ones but like i said i never had the sets um i used to just play with like build your own i wish i could like include a photo of like a town my brother and i made like right here but i'm pretty sure i don't have that anywhere so this is a police one it says rescue but please doesn't make sense but i don't know what these are why are why are there boxes within a box like i don't i don't think they sold it a box of in a box so these might just be someone else added sets in here to save space which i mean if they were just individually but i don't i'd i'd i should probably just not talk so i have no clue what i'm talking about if you think about the all these inside boxes did not go with this so this is six five five three this is six three nine eight so there doesn't go together does not go together it's a separate set which means i mean we can even double the value here i don't know what this is but there's two of them is this indiana jones maybe it could be that it's got weight as well i wonder if there's sets inside here there's not but like i said usually whenever i've come across like lego sets at auctions this plastic is always busted out and rarely do you ever find ones with a box so that was five nine eight eight this is the same one and what the heck is mindstorm robotics this is marked 14.99 simon's showing up hold on guys 1499 512 09. there's a good possibility this came from 2009 there's another one over here and says as is i don't know when this set was made but i find it hard to believe that somebody would be selling this for 15 bucks in 2009 because i'm pretty sure yeah this doesn't look good no it does like i'm pretty sure like you try to sell just like this thing right here this tray are you going to get at least 20 bucks for it just for a little tray and then for the pieces that's original plastic these are not i'm speechless it's kind of amazing you know when you do these storage units how many you buy um and you just completely make a bust you spend more money throwing stuff out this is space police wasn't there also like a uh like a monorail one that one with space pleats or it was like that same era maybe there's 90s probably 1992. all right look at the graphics on that that's just get the glare out of the way it's just so 90s with the gridlock wow so who knows if all the pieces are there who knows if all the sets or if all the pieces are who knows if all the pieces are there who knows if all um if everything's even included or if they're just mixed or like i said like some had boxes in them i have no clue so i have no clue i mean i i've been doing this for a while now i used to sell legos but i used to only sell the lego minifigs and those were really sold after for quite some time but in terms of sets that's completely out of my ballpark i don't even know if like boxes like some of these boxes they're not going to fit in a large flat rate i don't think so toys you never know what you're going to find with these storage units i was expecting to find something completely different and i came across a whole bunch of lego sets i've never had a playstation 3 either so it's like i don't even know what that rock band's really worth i don't even know what that thing costs new i've never gone to a whole phase of guitar here on rock band and ddr dance dance revolution so all those little like extra things that kind of went with storage unit or not source went with um with video games i never played so i don't even know what that thing cost new i don't know if that even has a resale value but these legos are an excellent excellent score going to do my research with these i'm not going to bring them to flea market i'm not selling them for 10 bucks or 15 bucks finally struck gold at one of these storage units uh i just looked around also at some of these other storage units i'll even show you that little tag right there so that little tag indicates that the previous owner has not been making payments they put that tag on it telling you you have to pay to get your stuff back uh so there might be more storage units coming up in the future i plan on probably trying to get to like two or three before the end of the year we got a lot going online like i said there are a couple selling around here for insane amount of monies but um if they're gonna be like this i'm gonna spend up um i think this was an awesome unit hopefully you guys enjoyed it and enjoy this video if you guys enjoy these storage unit videos and you haven't already
