I Bought an Abandoned Storage Unit Online... and this was inside

boxes totes you're a high bidder on a roll 13 seconds alrighty welcome back everyone welcome back to the channel another day as you guys see the vans behind me we are going to a storage facility i picked up a storage unit online at auction for 50 bucks uh so we're going to clean out and see what we find this is the real deal this is exactly what's in actual storage units this is not staged like the tv show this isn't faked nothing's done for better quality content or more views or anything like that if you guys are curious how this stuff works if you don't make payment on your unit for whatever reason these units have been uh abandoned for over a year pre the big c so uh you don't make payment on it your stuff goes up for auction you are allowed to bid on your own stuff so the previous owner whoever might be might owes 600 800 a thousand dollars on these units they can bid on it they can clean out themselves there's nothing against that or they have a family member do it so if they're interested in obviously for 50 bucks it's way less than what they owed on these units uh so i paid fifty dollars for this you know we're going to clean out you have to take everything there third third floor alrighty so brought paper moose back along same facility i think i had to walk down here to bring up that's my unit there there we go got the light going good old renee my camera crew this is the unit that i bought oh there we go now we're zooming in it looked way more filled when i bought it but i guess that's just how it is oh that's oh i saw a real guitar no i thought it was just like a painted guitar that's what i thought it was it's like all crafted together so i don't i don't really know this one but i don't think they're in there i don't think the thin mints are in there for some reason i thought that was like the the back of the unit there's no way that you like push that stuff up i don't know i really don't know what this is i spend 50 bucks yeah i don't see oh we'll see yeah it looks like there might be a tool yeah i just hope that's not a speaker that might be a tool box back there that was not in the photo we'll see i think we're going to work on the first box let's see come over here all right well this is off to a great start oh it's pancakes that's what it drinks yourself oh boy all right throwing me for a loop you already know this i think is for what your laptop right it's a laptop stand a monitor um all right well that's what you got in here empty tablet holder oh maybe that one's no oh yeah this has an autograph red hot chili peppers no that's not right oh it's autographed by someone over there i can't believe that they'd are you looking i'm looking at it yeah it's like on a cardboard like i don't know yeah but there's a bunch there's no way that would be in here well then there's a bunch more this is pink floyd no they just did these things all right yeah next one says wagon wheel who's saying that or is it the old old who's saying that i don't know don't get me started with the wagon wheel story so like when i was in school my freshman year my roommate for the first two weeks played wagon wheel non-stop on repeat for like two days straight like he had to play it at least well over 200 times you guys know this all waggle though whoever was saying the original one but yes you probably got like five dollars worth of stuff in here i don't know anything about these you got a radio you have one of these thingamajiggers that you uh tape take your uh your boxes up all right that's an interesting start this is like all thrown in there this was a real guitar oh yeah they just did something someone will buy that this one might want to craft with it that's your ceiling texture your popcorn paints that style went out a while back you got yourself a lamp maybe you'll find some pyrex there's no pyrex in this all right changing the look here let's try this i do like that bag whatever that is moss out okay oh that's a keyboard in there this is okay oh wow that's there was something in it a charger for works power tank scrap [Laughter] yeah a piece of scrap wow ryobi door oh that that's brand new i don't know what that's worth uh maybe 10 bucks and then we have your all sorts of cleaning supplies so somewhat goo gone caulk removers this was probably someone that did uh i can't think of a word we may be remodeling painter floor gloss why why do you store this do you think there's coffee yeah now you know i'll keep that in there because i'll go to a free market this one yeah i don't think that's worth a lot on ebay i don't know i don't know i don't know about this one i see a speaker i got a random is that a piece of copper too well yeah it's nice wow yeah nice piece of copper yeah interesting it's an array of like paint aluminum yeah oh it's your screen like your screen door so how much would this be worth in spring i don't know i don't think you can scrap that oh yeah you might be able to i don't know what this cost at home depot 48 inches by 25 feet of aluminum screen uh this might be screen for something else i don't think for your door it could be a screen door take a seat but where's the rest of it all right what's that [Music] yeah oh watch the wow now work on this cart next that might be the rest of that fret rest grab a side grab a side wow hungry later don't get it i don't get it i don't know why they take doesn't make sense i don't know this just throws me like you just like have to use tools how much are these oh hey if you're hungry more if you're hungry yeah you got a wawa's sizzley no it's empty all right so we're going on a bet right now what's in the garbage bag she says drop cloths i say tarps not single stitch teeth not single stitch t-shirts well maybe if they have the foo foo fighter feels soft like clothes sleeping bags i don't know what that noise is that must be the water it is open so we're not about to rip it and it's heavy oh it could be stuffed animals pillows i'll close at the bottom do you smell that [Laughter] they do not smell great all right oh we'll save that for another time yeah oh look at that pillow that stinks so bad i can't do it oh man i don't know what what i don't know what that is where's my mouth yeah [Laughter] you never know what you're gonna get any storage units because i mean it's a good thing this doesn't have smell-o-vision that's not a whole unit smells like that this is the fun part which i don't really show much on the videos is that the uh you gotta load the stuff you gotta load the stuff put it in the van as you see there's no funny business here we're not staging things throwing things in a unit this is just all right i noticed with this camera well it's actually just this lighting that there's some flickering going on that's actually just the camera it's not the lights i know it was just doing that now it stopped let's work with uh i guess this damaged bin that's falling apart oh oh oh oh extra calendar cutouts huh doorknobs i thought this might be like some really neat small tool thing it's probably like sockets no rusty drill droplets all right all right there's only one thing in there it's the uh it's a wax ring for your toilet chesapeake virginia it's actually a nice doll furniture all right that's it oh what happened oh yeah it all comes up it's like busted oh buddy well that can be 50 if it's in there if it looks like it's sealed but who knows if that's actually in there i don't really know much about rigid tools same with milwaukee i know like milwaukee is a good brand it's not like snap on but it's like dewalt and makita like they're all in the same field i'm hoping there's something in there but i want to check out what this is when a box moves that quickly when you like that it's probably not good that's just an empty box womp womp womp hmm all right well of course the ceiling paints in there of all things that capacity full of ceiling paint is definitely in there i'd say it's half full there's gotta be more clothes in here yep i smelt it i don't get it nope yep it's full right yeah but the smell of white oh this smells getting ya i don't know printed august 2019 yes 2019 the last time we bought a unit uh the food in there expired in 2019 so these units have been in here for a while um because i mean obviously printed august 2019 that was when it was printed the other food expired in december 2019 and it's like 2020 october-ish oh yeah done some smoothing all right but i can't i don't think i can all right i'll grab that that just i'm gonna put this on yeah throw a mask on here's some extension cords not uh all right all right that is a stand or that might be a lock this is for your grill it's more stinky yeah this thing whatever this is nice and smooth it's all in there all right and still soft that's a couple dollars there's some oh maybe that's what smells like mold on your dog bowl i can smell it through the mask happens to the best of us would this be the smelliest storage locker you've done this unit has a nice stench to it i don't know what uh what happened here it's weird you think like a stench would go away after so many years or so many months but who knows anything oh come here salt socks oh that's a jewelry case for a second i mean i'll check out that key huh you didn't see it on the camera yeah you can see it flashlight [Music] [Music] there's nothing too intriguing in that there's a bunch of really small tools you have some sockets uh some rings a oh there's another battery on top oh yeah we found two cents two sets found money and a salt and pepper cassette tape yep all righty well we made this far i made it this far still curious about that one uh that uh toolbox that no it doesn't stay oh well we got clothes man go snake over here down up what the heck nice nope give away for that get a whiff of [Laughter] that it's a lot of painting stuff this dolly's nice maybe they gave up their paints maybe wireless for surround speakers nothing no it's light bulbs socks some spray paint some more speakers more light bulbs plumbing light bulbs cleaning uh not plumbing painting speakers and just random tools you don't have we didn't find the nozzle for that oh i don't think so uh i feel like i saw it but i don't know oh is that it no oh that is it oh oh i know what it is it's not a tool box i think it's like a vacuum oh man that's what i'm thinking it's like a vacuum yeah because it's got the battery thing on it yeah it's a wet dry vac which is probably worth more than toolbox who knows if this thing works which probably somehow hooks up with that oh that's a crap uh maybe no it doesn't hook up with that that's a crash milwaukee yes like if you're yeah all right well we'll test it i don't know if you need something because of this it's like battery operated oh yeah it is battery opera use the batteries yeah that's probably if it works if it works it's worth more way more than 50 dollars but i don't know anyone who has milwaukee tools i don't know anyone who has a battery i don't know [Music] maybe there's something good in the tiny cat's bucket maybe this unit was shocking to me i was shocked i don't know i wonder if that sheetrock stuff is good i have no idea what the prices of one of these things but magic's not cheap all right so this is the last cart that goes out if you look at just this cart you might be like wow like wow that's some decent stuff in there and you find a lot and there's probably good stuff in there um unfortunately this unit seems to be a lot of just uh yeah um i mean if this thing works it's definitely worth some money i don't know why it wouldn't work i had the battery already in it almost like it was working when they used it last so who knows what that i don't know the dry vac what drive back milwaukee goes for in this configuration but i should be able to find a way to test it i don't think that'll be too much of a problem i am going to have some garbage here i hope i can get rid of this paint because i know sometimes getting rid of paint can be an issue but we'll see what that i did actually uh well we actually cleaned out this whole unit it's all done all cleared out that's another storage in the books big thank you to paper moose you guys haven't checked out her today's episode uh obviously always a blast to go out there and see what's inside these storage units that's what a real storage unit looks like i will easily make back 50 bucks on a unit fortunately for me i think i can get rid of all that garbage through my own garbage and i don't have to actually go to a dump and dump it i'm kind of unsure about the paint but i think my garbage company will be able to collect that if you guys are interested in doing these storage units you got to figure out a place to dump the garbage you also have to figure out a place where you're going to store this stuff so if you're interested in doing that make sure to plan accordingly because you're going to have both garbage good stuff probably stuff you want to keep with this unit i think i'll probably get
