I won an Abandoned Storage Auction Locker - What's inside?!

alrighty everyone welcome back to the channel another day here another video i end up buying yet another storage unit online another storage auction unit i spent a whopping 70 on this unit it was uh an online sale the big kicker here was you had to you had to clear out the unit within 24 hours so all the units that did go up were all really small units but there was a 24-hour clean out uh for it so that's why i think i got it for a good deal uh but you know you don't know if you got it for a good deal until you clean out the unit if you guys are new to the channel what we do in today's video in these storage room videos is i go through a storage unit i purchased and i show you exactly what i found uh if people are ever curious or interested about what these storage units and storage auctions have and what's inside these units or lockers that's exactly what i show you so let's get into it another unit purchased another storage unit purchased online auction 70 let's see if we did all right let's do it all right so i made into the facility let's uh let's see if this was a good one and uh let's hopefully find some treasure all right so this is the unit that we bought um i think it's the same size as the last unit i bought it might be a foot smaller i think the last one i bought was a five by five by seven this might be just a five by five so this is the unit i bought um what i saw and noticed with this unit was a lot of stuff seemed off and that's what a lot of these units end up doing so what you'll notice here is we have a plane there i don't really come across too many planes but it's at an angle same with that bin that's at an angle kind to like show you what's in here which is something i really don't like with these storage auctions is sometimes they seem kind of staged i was looking online at youtube of people who actually own these kind of facilities and some said if there's not three hundred dollars worth of stuff in there they don't have to auction it which that made me realize like how can you define what 300 worth of stuff is all right so what we'll do is i'll just go through boxes like i usually do what you'll notice here is you might be able to see that white box over there is toys i kind of bid on this unit this is like a flat like for a flea market and we found a ton of dvds i don't really like these banana strawberry boxes i thought it's a banana box we have a whole flat here of dvds i feel like every single storage unit we ever buy has dvds as someone's calling me had a phone call there uh but yeah a bunch of dvds i don't know there's really not much to talk about dvds the peanuts movie we have ted i thought i saw like triple h or something yeah this trip did this guy no i was thinking of the undertaker triple h this is one of the original wrestlers for my day yeah a lot of these are from the 90s 97.99 you guys are into wrestling there's apparently a movie on that catwoman and a bunch of other jimmies lord of the rings this is like a whole novel kind of thing all right it's just a box of dvds so one of the reasons why i bought this unit is for these toys because i figured whatever's in that box down there might be all toys but we will see knowing me it's probably just an empty box but might be a toy box all right so a lot of people liked in the last video me going through this stuff with you guys um if that's what you're interested in that's what i'll probably be doing today sometimes i breeze through these units too quickly um but i generally just try to show you guys whatever is valuable or as a resale value i don't know anything about these toys um like i said i've toys are not my specialty this guy isn't even focusing does that say 1998 1991 trumer inc playmates toys uh i don't know if these guys are gi joes this looks like star wars the was that guy cp3o or he's missing his whole body got some wrestling guys mark chyna on the back uh just i guess a box of miscellaneous toys figures i don't really see that many figures out in the wild and whenever i do they go for like insane amount of money uh but that's toys are one avenue which i wish i knew a lot more about because you know i could be looking at 200 and toys here and realistically think i have like ten dollars in toys but cool score nine three two one let's go with the next bin will be this blue bin that was at an angle which threw me off there all right at some point i need to walk this down the stairs because i bought one that's on the second floor which fortunately for me this time isn't too bad uh sometimes you buy these storage units and there's a fridge up here which i don't think i saw a fridge and i kid you not i've had to haul down a fridge by myself with no hand truck like a rookie like probably my tenth video and i had to haul it down a whole hallway and hold down those stairs and i'll be honest if you it was not that fun so if you're ever interested in doing this stuff and you see any furniture make sure to bring a hand truck some people call it a dolly some people call it a hand dolly just find a way to get one of those because it was brutal and if you're ever at these storage units and you do these auctions the best units to buy are the ones outside generally if you don't want to do a lot of work just because you can just pull up your truck or whatever and just move the stuff in there you don't have to walk it through the whole facility keep that in mind if you're interested in buying these things all right what do we got here it's a bike helmet let me know also if you guys like this kind of shot that i do right here where it's like right in front of me and we can kind of go through it together i've been trying out the last video or so and i kind of like it but let me know if you guys rather me just walk around with the thing uh in terms of the camera but i've been trying to do a lot more still shots we have harry potter i don't remember this book special rehearsal edition script probably why i don't remember it final fantasy it's a little torn but optical illusion these things on the left look like just books so won't bore you too much with that here's a bunch of play bills jacqueline hyde wasn't that also a restaurant in new york city pretty sure i got scared there when i was maybe six years old playbills a bunch of those batman calculator i don't think this is a ti-83 i think those are usually a little bit uh no no ti-30xa assisted graphing no not graphing uh there's also i think a financial calculator which is worth a little bit of money this is kind of cool way to throw my own collection hockey puck that's the uh phantoms i think but says philadelphia that's butts i don't know what that is mt10 anti-stress microwavable comfort booties it looks like a yo-yo in there this is kind of an interesting array of stuff these units these last couple units have had a really interesting array of stuff in them uh well i guess it'd be kind of stupid not to move this bin so let's move that bin uh looks like we have one two there's a purple bin down there which was in the photo this photo for this auction was a little bit better i think they put three up rather than one and i saw a light bright i think i found maybe six light bright that looks like the best box so far found like six light brights over the last two years and to today i still don't think i've ever owned one and used one myself but i guess when you buy storage units you own everything uh some unarmor cleats these look interesting so this is one of the units uh one of the things i did notice with this unit is we have what looks like some new york city puzzles or maybe that's a game that's a game not a puzzle metro mania i also noticed in the corner there was more games or puzzles which i thought was kind of interesting now i have no idea if these games are worth anything that one's such a large board game you can't even see it i feel like they're full but i don't you know i don't know heck is this just a book cd disc repair kit this is a wall thing probably that's for your candle hanging on the wall you put a candle on it what's in the box my verizon all right that's nothing don't bore you guys with nothing random cables oh this is for uh isn't this for stereo views it's got to be for stereo abused like a stereo view reader i've never seen one of those well i've never held one of them i think you put the stereo view right here but they're usually just a card so i don't maybe you rest it there it's kind of weird how it wouldn't have a uh like a slot like that you clip it you see it's just like a holder why's got a back one too that's interesting there's any stereo views in here no there's not but these things are not them either this that's kind of neat i don't looks old but it might not be old looks old but might not be old makes total sense all right camera these look like one of those lights they just press and they turn on these are great for um if you live in an attic or you don't live in an act but you have an attic you don't have like electric just hang this up against the wall and just give it a smack whenever you're going up that might be for a coat this is toys r us something and that looks like a cassette player at the back this is more like a musical box with some probably shouldn't break that i'll probably put that aside i don't know anything about the puzzles i mean everyone says puzzles are worth a million dollars same with like older board games but i've never heard of the metro mania it could be worth something this is a cool graphic in the chips new york looks like we just have a random flat i think it's another strawberry box it is random flat of fuses fishing line ephrata that's kind of cool put that aside i try to put things aside that like i want to look up rather than just throw in the warehouse there are those all aside that doesn't look like anything else here this looks like a level wood level all right i guess we'll work on well we'll just go through this stuff quickly here's some more of that this says city visions uh gaming guy to capture c don't know much about that this one's still sealed a trivia game well it's half sealed z100 i think that's a radio station new york it's also new york this is new york this one is also sealed that's a puzzle right yeah it's a puzzle and then light bright is in here it's probably the seventh delight bright i found and probably the fifth i have a storage unit but mostly the boxes are always torn up this one has some wear but nothing too bad with it i mean you got some little bit of that um but usually they're like half torn i think the last one last one i found wasn't even the same box so it's kind of cool seeing the evolution of light bright just through storage units i don't know what's in this bell and howl box this looks like that's another game puzzle this is a plane this one's made by dunlap usually i've seen stanley or just like some knock off china and this one's actually got some weight to it don't know much about those bell howell precision of photo equipment nope open up on the side that's gotta be worth some money don't you think light bulbs get your light bulbs i don't know if everything's there looks like some uh yeah photo equipment on a bomb looks like some board games got two things at board games weapons and warriors as well as i don't know if that's uh that's made in china tangerine bear alright [Music] box and a bin what's in the box is it filled with gold it's not even like a box it's like a shelf compartment i thought this would be all toys it's got a toy or a piece to a toy batman nothing else in there i don't know what this is i have no idea what toy this is made in usa 1988 auron or yawn if anyone out there knows what toy this is let me know drop a comment down below love to learn more about this i probably shouldn't yeah i guess i probably shouldn't put back in there what's in the purple bin it's a field of legos spoiler for the last video it's not filled with legos it's filled of pokemon a thermos some random stuff again let's see what's in here what's in the box what's in the bin i did see a pokemon thing i have received a lot of messages about the pokemon cards i found the last storage unit seems like pokemon just made a revive um i have not gone through them i thought they'd all be the original ones but it looks like a lot of them aren't i don't know what you really even consider the original ones i can't remember what year they stopped making those uh because i think i saw some that said 95 97.99 like all three copyrights on the bottom so i thought these all went to 99 or 97 but who would know this one looks like just like a strategy guide it is a strategy guide there's a what looks like a pyrex bowl at the bottom a clear pyrex hole it is got a lid to one these are tapes i believe oh those are cool hmm the old garfield cups from mcdonald's now in light of me for everyone out there who might have lived through this time i was not even considered a thought at this point when these were produced um was this kind of like similar to like a happy meal where you'd buy a meal and you get a free cup or did you have to redeem points i just think it'd be a wild decision to just be handing out cops with every meal but maybe that was a thing if that was the case if we went to today's standard i'd probably own about a million of those which probably would not be good oh this is cool that's gotta be worth a couple dollars yield snoopy charlie brown a peanuts thermos there we go thermos thermos brand this looks like a letter letterman jacket patch i don't know if anyone called the golden knights around here with an r so i don't know any high schools around here with that this one cb32 club membership you got a red cross day and a sports card is that frank thomas it is frank thomas the big hurt two-way walkie-talkies might be and that's another camera just imagine what this thing cost brand new i mean look at the craftsmanship with this the case alone is magnificent and right now it's probably worth like three dollars it's kind of a shame there looks like there's just a plate down below we have a picture of someone and some very very fancy glasses all right that's the uh that's the whole shebang storage unit wrapping up all right everyone so i just made it back home just opened the van um i will have to sit down actually do some research on some of this stuff i didn't want to throw it i didn't want to throw it into my flea market pile if there was anything here that was worth some money and i know sometimes with these puzzles um sometime all right those up front is my tripod um i know if these puzzles especially the ones that are sealed they can sometimes bring a decent decent amount on ebay i might also sit down and do some research on the action figures i think that was it for stuff that i wanted to look up oh yeah the stereo fue reader i might want to take that out also i did sell a collection maybe six years ago probably about a hundred of them and i learned a ton on those stereo views and what we're kind of sought after and what weren't sought after um but the funniest thing about it is i never had one of those readers and i'm pretty confident that's exactly what that it is i'm pretty confident that is exactly what it is is to read those or view those stereo cards or stereo views whatever you like to call them um so that's my first time i ever found one of those or actually own one i guess you can say now i would have loved to have had that six years ago but that's gonna kind of wrap it up here one thing i do know is if you guys want to see future videos just like this more storage unit videos will be posted um i don't know how many more i might be able to do for the rest of this year because i don't think there's that many auctions still going on uh this seemed to be the last wave
