been so he's got to get in there so my dad just put some vinegar in the water and you know he's just rubbing them down making sure that they're clean there's a lot of people who don't wash their the heat kills the bacteria but you're not into that team okay I feel you so vinegar and water is more than one and you wash it more than one time okay that is so okay so you're gonna add all of these seasonings together in the oh in this bowl well in this bottle okay so that what is that black pepper rock paper okay that's more than a tablespoon daddy no tablespoon of it okay I would say that's two tablespoons garlic powder just in case you guys don't know Jamaican people don't really measure because it all goes from there beautiful head right there plus garlic plus okay roasted pepper and garlic roasted pepper and garlic season all-purpose all-purpose seasoning I feel like drinking people real they love our all-purpose love all-purpose and sable so fable that's that's his favorite talk show them that in favor with seasoning salt add it to the ball it's not too much and but Jeter I don't know why I say it like that every time but ha okay so now you're gonna mix it up all suggest sense but some people are not into ginger some people are not into garlic so obviously you guys just do doctor you don't like you exactly switch it up if you don't like you don't know about scotch bonnet I suggest you go and figure it out soon don't just go and get it and think that it's like some chili pepper it is not only pepper okay it's very hot ready I mean there's pepper that's hotter but I don't want you to figure that out by yourself on the chicken but you're adding it garnet chicken whatever put it in there rub in the rug put some system chicken dip some Maggie shot of people damn good already I just know because I'm seasoning these things is everything you guys everything that's what I'm realizing like yogurt if your stuff's not seasoned properly then you're just wasting your time who's not gonna taste this do you want to lick your ten finger on your tenth old you know right daddy you want to enjoy your older flavors and inside your chicken I'm realizing you don't miss because I feel like a lot of people rub the outside of their chicken but they don't really deal with the inside of the chicken and like how is the flavor really supposed to ring sleep in if you're not doing that and obviously in order for you to be rubbing up a chicken like this yeah I can watch it on my girl all over a guy wash your hands I mean I'll be honest there are certain things that he's not allowing me to do in the kitchen and I get why so roasting pan is out so hold on before me to show them how to eat this pan look you gotta get like a nice deep and guys so that you can you know really roast your chicken okay so you don't have to put any oil all because already covered in oil because I would have thought that you put oil at the bottom so it doesn't stick but the base is already with quail so that makes them see you I put my chicken I is there a certain way the legs are down on the side and the legs are up on that side so you put them opposite you don't put them exactly side by side like okay and what does that do does I do something that it's much more space more space it's kind of like a shoe box when they flip the shoe we go eat all right so now we're covering the chicken and you have the oven 375 okay so you got to put the oven on 375 gonna lift that rock all right chicken is in the oven that took approximately like how long without me annoying you what do you think how long approximately was that process before you put it in the oven what 10 15 minutes quick things will you mean okay so you're not gonna throw that away because you might need it later all right so he's big on cleaning while you cook guys see me while you cook eliminate so much of the stresses after for you or for whoever you just throw it on so clean on up and make sure you use antibacterial soap especially in this day and age guys like this is not a promotion for Don but it's the time so you have a coconut in your coconut is very close real coconut dry coconut coconut milk in my head I thought that I don't know he's gonna add the coconut milk or something but to use it as a babe brilliant Danny brilliant okay so you're gonna wait you're gonna add scotch bonnet pepper to it no sauce labels just for flavor so you're not gonna play up in it because if you did then the rice would be either go and you're gonna take it out you know I want your eyes to be to us what you do for scallion and garlic so for some people scallion sit also known as green so that was my camera and onions in Canada we say onions Eddie not audience but if that's how you doing peel up your garlic and your green onion I feel like only like is it West Indian green scallions I have the purple top because I feel like this is Jamaica this comes straight from China straight from Jamaica okay so the Jamaican one are purple on top but I feel like when other people have green onions it's like green straight from the top to bottom but I always know when they went to the West Indian store when it comes back looking like this why should talk buddy what's he again yeah he said that these ones have much more flavor so if you can go to a West Indian food market or whatever to get it you'll be happy so now you're putting the garlic inside the rice water okay did you chop it up big or small just like small okay okay pound it a bit in whole okay he just cut it in half and dropped it right in there added some time now bang oh my god remember that mantel always used to go what are you so sinned against that's what you used to say he said something else instead BAM this is a way to bother me but did he do it again my god he did it alright so you're adding some seasoning salt you said seasoning salt to the race and your favorite people there's something that says people Oh friendship funny okay this is nice this is like perfect for right then I know that you use it for many other things but you love it for rice right I love my dog's rice so I think everybody does so and more and more it's good it really does it really does the duty sir what's the heat on right now Teddy machine maximum so it's on high okay so what are you gonna wait for it to boil up before you add the right okay you don't need to add any butter okay taste it fresh okay so fresh in Jamaica in Jamaican terms means that it's not like either salty enough or it's not sweet enough it's fresh me like it's lacking that so it needs more socks so I know sometimes when we say fresh people like oh that's a good thing no no no that's not really good for you okay so yes I'm a food yeah and that's not good for your cholesterol so you've been cutting back for you and mommy right ever us for everybody back whoa no need to cut back remember health is wealth when my mom would be baby she would do that with the rag and it would go chop chop so when I was bathing myself I'd be trying to go with the rat but I couldn't do it hilarious so we had like a boil up situation so you gotta make people when they like douse their rice and catch up or put ketchup all over their chicken or all that kind of nasty stuff but my dad always make ketchup stains like you could okay so what is the city chicken brown okay [Music] I know because I you cook it whoa whoa all of us so you're also going to add some butter to it a little better that's our little li ke ke medium fire and you got it simmer nice what some workers with jerk sauce hold on you have to show the people that man okay hold on the focus then keep it still Danny okay there we go walkers would jerk he's in hot and spicy but he's gonna add it so he feels like it's going to cut up the Tang and he thinks it's the best jerk spot next to your own a so did you just feel like a spoon ready that's a quick meal I feel like that was a really quick meal I mean I know you're not done because the chicken is still cooking but for the most part I mean the main things are done brown sugar you guys so what are the brown sugar do just to give it like a kind of sweet and savory hahaha looking ten more minutes you think any more minute now we're gonna be able to eat you excited daddy yeah I am I think I'm Way more excited than you this
