Dropping every boss in lava [Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury modding]

today we push the limits of super mario 3d world and bowser's fury modding by testing what happens if you drop enemies and bosses into lava and we also test which bosses you can defeat with bullet bills first let's check if this lava on my island is warm enough and that looks like it's good when boo boom pops into his shell and falls onto the lava he is safe inside his shell even when he pops out of his shell and he starts spinning he's still safe on the lava boom boom looks like he's sinking into the lava and reaching out a hand asking for help but he's completely fine here i modded the level to have bullet bill blasters to test if bullet bills could damage boom boom the bullet bills surprisingly can damage boom boom but once he goes into his shell and starts bouncing around he bounces away from the platform of the level and into the lava luckily boom boom can walk on lava as we know but he's too low for the bullet bills to hit him so i have to rearrange the arena in my newly designed level this doesn't look like it's a very fair fight for boom boom where mario can stand off to the side and bullet bills are constantly being fired at boom boom from all directions just like before the boss can't get damaged during this cutscene but once the battle starts the bullet bills can start to damage boom boom he's invincible when he pops into his shell but since he's in a closed off area this time he can't bounce away from the level which is good for us the fight continues as boom boom pops in and out of his shell spinning around starting to disappear but there's really no chance for boom boom here and mario is able to collect the green star after defeating this boss you might expect the same thing to happen with pompom but surprisingly pompom wasn't taking damage from the bullet bills whether the bullet bills explode on contact or if they explode near pom pom the boss just wasn't taking any damage one interesting thing to point out is that the bullet bills explode on contact with pom pom's shuriken so while the bullet bills don't damage pom pom directly they can make it easier for you to not get damaged by pom pom i tried using the cannon box power-up on pom-pom and it was really strange a lot of the time when i tried to attack it looked like pom-pom was invulnerable but then i took out the clones and i was able to damage pom pom after that and then i was able to damage pom-pom with a cannonbox power-up without even having to take out the clones if you make pom-poms stand in the lava it should come as no surprise that pom-pom is almost indestructible now so lava doesn't hurt pom-pom and mario can make some careful jumps onto the boss and make it back onto his block where he's safe a lot of bosses can survive in lava but it's still too hot for mario if you're wondering what lava does to regular enemies or blockade enemies like the big gloom of blockade enemies here's what happens when you load up the level okay that was a bit fast so let me raise them up a bit higher at the start of the level you still see them fall down very quickly but this time we can actually see the glubus before they poof into nothing when they touch the lava you might be wondering if you could get the green star from here and you can get it but good luck surviving after getting it i actually tried to survive as peach using her float ability and if you can avoid falling into the lava for a moment then the coarse clear cutscene starts to play and you actually survive once this cutscene starts to play you can't die here and we've seen something similar in my video where i made the goal pull run away from you in world 1-1 prince bully is quite the tank he can not only survive in lava but the bullet bills don't seem to be affecting him at all not even pushing him back or stunning him he just relentlessly marches on charging towards wherever mario is not afraid of the lava below him or the bullet bills passing him by and exploding around him this is the face of a warrior who can overcome any adversity this is the face of a loyal follower of bowser who has focused completely on the goal of eliminating mario nothing can stop prince bully except for pipes his only weakness where he gets turned into a tin can bounces around the room you know it's normally down there histocrat you know what's not normally down there lava i was wondering what this was going to be like i took the platform down to this lava area and luckily the stone block that i placed there was waiting for mario to safely land on i was just adjusting my position getting ready to jump onto it when all of a sudden the platform that brought me here disappeared and i fell into the lava i didn't know that this happens so you have to be quick when you come off of this thing i got ready again and i realized that my positioning wasn't good so i thought i'd fall into the lava but i was luckily close enough to trigger the histocrat cut seemed to start histocrat bursts out of the lava and it doesn't look like it's hurting him when the fight starts mario is on top of this block and not only are there falling rocks that damage mario but these rocks try to push mario off of the platform into the lava a lava snake like this with a lava platform sounds like something that you'd have to face in some kind of kaizo mario mod and speaking of kaizo mario mods i've made some of my own mods and played through some kaizo mario 3d world mods if you're interested in some tough challenges in super mario 3d world you normally have to land on histocrat's head to damage him so i was wondering if bullet bills could also do the trick even with bullet bills raining down on histocraft none of them could damage him they all went right through him i made motley boss blobs level covered with lava and when the fight starts he seems to be okay with it i'm wondering if his smaller form will get hurt by the lava but i don't get a chance to find out because mario is pushed off of this block into the lava whether motley boss blop is in his big form or in his small form the lava doesn't damage him when i set up a lot of bullet bill launchers around the boss the bullet bills could take out the little blobs when the boss explodes but they couldn't damage the actual boss itself it might look like this little joker is trying to avoid the bullet bills but they can't actually hurt him as a last resort i wanted to try using the canon box power-up on motley boss blob and just like the bullet bills it would only damage the little blobs but not the actual boss itself next i wanted to take on shadow luigi we've looked more in depth at modding shadow luigi in past videos so i decided to set up cannons at the spots where shadow luigi normally rests when he's running away from you the bullet bills go straight through the fury shadow before you activate it which isn't too surprising but this was the thing that surprised me the most the bullet bills went right through shadow luigi even when you activated him i felt like setting up these cannons was a plan to get the death note back but shadow luigi still foiled my plans when i put lava down on scamper shores i wanted to test out walking under the lava to see what it would be like we were safe while walking under the lava i saw shadow luigi run up here so i tried to jump up here too but as soon as mario hit the surface of the lava it took effect and it burned mario and it looks kind of weird to be carrying around a kitten with you while you're in the lava like this and you can see the shadow of shadow luigi in the background taunting mario that this lava isn't too hot for him but despite all of shadow luigi's efforts mario is still able to damage him with the box cannon power up i was really curious to see if the bullet bills could defeat boss brolder the bullet bills didn't hurt the big boss brolder and they couldn't destroy the little brolders but you know what happens when you jump on a little brolder the way it hides and then you can pick it up that's what happens to the little brolders when the bullet bills hit them here's what happens at the boss brolder fight when the floor is lava i gave mario a little platform here so that he wouldn't die right away and you have to jump a bit closer so that you can get the cutscene to trigger so that the boss appears and once the cut scene starts the little brolders sink down into the lava and the big brother is still floating there and he starts spinning there menacingly he starts coming towards me and i'm worried that he's going to crush the blocks that i'm standing on he stops for a moment right before getting to me and he summons some more little brolders and they sink into the lava right away he starts running against the platforms but nothing is happening i try cat swiping him and that doesn't damage him either mario thinks to himself that it looks like we're at a standstill and we'll have to call this one a draw i made an interesting setup for kankathunk to test if we could damage him without jumping on him by having bullet bills hit his weak spot even if the bullet bills land directly on the weak spot king kefunk wouldn't get hurt by the bullet bills i wanted to see if lava would affect any of the meowsers and they could climb through the lava the lava is not a barrier that slowed them down in the slightest i was thinking that maybe the bullet bills would affect the pow block maybe it would count as a hit maybe it wouldn't and it turns out that they explode on the block but they don't shrink the pow block so it doesn't count that you're actually hitting the pow block and this looks like something again straight out of a kaizo mario 3d world mod where you have to avoid a lot of bullet bills and fire to get to the final pow block and it's pretty weird to see this cutscene with bowser right side up after making my upside down bosses in super mario 3d world video where we saw all the bosses upside down bowser in bowser's highway showdown has to be one of the most satisfying fights with bullet bills you can take them out very quickly if you set up
