I put all the Super Mario 3D World blockade enemies into a single level

[Music] today we push the limits of super mario 3d world modding by facing all of the enemies from every blockade all at once i wanted to create a level where you have to defeat all of the enemies from every blockade all together to get a green star and here it is we have two charging chucks from the world one blockade three big galoombas from the world two blockade three magikoopas from the world three blockade four brolders from the world four blockade five more charging chucks from the world five blockade prince bully who is a part of the world six blockade the giant boulder plus three more brolders from the world castle blockade and finally a second prince bully from the other world castle blockade you might be wondering about the fire bro enemies from the fire bro hideouts and we'll be adding those later on while designing this level i was thinking that i really wanted to level with lava in the background just because it'd be scarier because you die instantly if you fall off into the lava you might be wondering how some levels in super mario 3d world have a green star spawn when you defeat all of the enemies in super mario 3d world there's an object called an all dead watcher that watches if all of the enemies that are linked to it are alive or not if all of your links are set up just the way you want it then the green star will spawn when you defeat all of the enemies that are linked to the all dead watcher certain enemies like magikoopas are meant to follow a certain path and you have to make sure that these links all go in the correct direction and if any little thing is wrong your game will probably crash when you load the level when it comes to prince bully you need to have a certain link between prince bully and each clear pipe entrance so that he will work as intended when he gets pushed into a pipe the result of all of this is a really complicated mess where there are all kinds of links between different objects and you just have to hope that all of the links and link directions and link types are all correct and you hope that your game doesn't crash when you load it prince bully is probably the enemy here that will cause the most problems just look at his mischievous little face look at what a little troublemaker he is the first problem he creates is that he doesn't die if he goes into lava he just stands there he's comfortable just like mario is comfortable from my video where we test what happens if we put checkpoint flags into bowser's fury these scenes are the epitome of comfort so we have to add a pipe for prince bully and you've already seen how messy that can get because every part of a pipe object has to be linked to a route token object and sometimes prince fully behaves strangely when it comes to pipes but here is the worst part of all when it comes to prince bully after you have the pipes set up and after you defeated every enemy except for prince bully here's what happened to me okay very good very good now i just have to defeat prince bully he just flies off the level okay so you actually do need walls oh my goodness when you normally face prince bully you're in a walled off environment and he bounces all around the walls and he doesn't fly away from the level in this level that i use with lava beyond the platform there are no walls to prevent prince bully from flying away after we hit him when he's vulnerable so i had to create some walls for prince bully and once these walls were in place it finally became possible to beat prince bully but there were still some heartbreaking moments during testing over at my live streams at twitch.tv zx many live on wednesday friday saturday where prince bully could still be knocked off the map to the bottom of the level because i didn't add a wall there i'm worried about him falling off from the south side because on the south side there's no there's no walls on the south side ah no no come back come back beautiful no no prince bully is down in the lava there's nothing we can do there's nothing we can do hopefully this will be the final attempt okay defeating a lot of these okay ah i was so focused on the camex hey come over here bro let me get a hit on you are all of the kamiks taken out or is there still a camec there's still a kamik there i can't see this gimmick whoa now the pipes are super fast he got one hit on him and he didn't fall off beautiful that's what you like to see now we just got to be really careful when i've got to take out that kamik over there kamik are you coming back now nope the camera's still there took out that kamik beautiful took out that one and i just really really really want this prince bully to behave don't go anywhere silly prince bully don't do he fell off the level he fell oh no he didn't he's back i don't know how he came back but he's back and this should be it [Music] thank you thank you thank you so much thank you thank you thank you thank you so much oh my goodness i originally wanted to put all the blockade enemies all together into a single fight and do lots of bosses together in a future video which i still have planned and you're welcome to subscribe if you'd like to see that but i also wanted to put all of the enemies from the fire bros hideouts into this mix there are four firebros hideouts in this game which have three fire bros a fire bro on top of a large stack of goombas another fire bro with two hammer bros and two boomerang bros and a final fire bros hideout with seven more fire bros here's how that fight went okay this is going fine uh i'm not going to take my next cat suit yet oh i thought i'd get hit there for sure hey that's fine that's fine i knew i'd get hit there there's no way well maybe there was a way around that okay all right those are taken out that's good goodbye charging chucks all right give me those rock friends that's what you like to see do i have two hits on them or just one 100 seconds to take out prince bully okay okay okay okay here we go we have what is called a chance if i can just get him to behave don't fall off the level two hits chat can this be it can this be it is that really it is that really it did we do it did we do it attempt number three we have gotten it we did it we defeated all of them oh my goodness oh my goodness we finally got it but there's something important that you might have noticed here there was only one prince bully here not two of them adding a second prince bully makes the game a bit laggy okay took out a lot of those guys right at this start there and as you can see the level is a bit laggy to start off oh my goodness how am i avoiding this fire how am i avoiding this damage here take out one more charge and chuck always nice when you can take out a charge and chuck ah took damage there that's not nice we can get a hit on him there we go very nice can i take out this charging chuck beautiful okay nice taking out those that's very nice very nice any little brolders around yeah there are two of them right here let me get away i should have maybe waited to take the catsuit until after ah but i would have died either any either way or i would have died otherwise i think okay and that's hit three i think for him okay so that takes out that one on we still have plenty of time we have so much time here okay now i just got to get these prince bullies to behave if i can lure these fire guys off the map that would be perfect like if i could get them to go there and smack them off that would be amazing but i don't know if that'll be worth the time okay there's one hit on red we have to get three hits on each of them okay one hit on each so far whoops okay two on red one on blue okay and we might have a chance here now it'll be two hits on each okay he came back that's beautiful okay now that one's defeated he's got to be defeated after that no he can hit me like that i didn't know that he could hit me like that well that should be the third hit here anyways that should defeat him and there we go there we go finally [Applause] finally oh my goodness that's so difficult but oh man there we go there we have it that is all of the enemies from every single
