[Music] this was a Saturday that cried out for something special you know what this morning's crying out for huh doughnuts I have to get dressed I can't go out like this [Music] you don't know impatient until you've been a monkey waiting for a donut how about eggs with those doughnuts hey count the eggs and write down how many we have ready so how many eggs do we have hmm there are no eggs well why didn't you write zero oh you don't know I thought I was teaching you everything and I forgot nothing zero alone means no eggs none at all but zero with other numbers makes them mean a lot more see if we write a zero after one that's ten write another zero that's a hundred that's a thousand 10,000 hey nice zeroes you've got it I'll go in here and buy eggs while you get the doughnuts okay one dozen doughnuts please we'll meet back home and be a good little monkey George was really hungry but his order only had a measly one on it huh then he remembered what the man with the yellow hat had told him about zeros [Music] George jockey good to see ya oh is that an order for your friend with the yellow hair George realized what his zeros had done but try explaining that to a dog George could only think of one solution to a problem this big [Music] George realized he couldn't go home because then those donut people would know where he lived [Music] so in the end George headed home with one dozen donuts Oh what are we gonna do with them all so in the end George got one dozen donuts like he was supposed to the hard-working firefighters thought everything was perfect how many left George [Music] thanks for helping me with the nature week exhibit George we'd like to see the tracks of all the animals that live around here the swim mask oh I'm gonna go jump in the lake to conduct the nature week fish survey by George wished his photos were more exciting but there weren't many exciting animals around here hey George what you doing wow I see you've got almost every local animal that's at that far and I've seen in the hills a foreign is a baby deer but you don't see too many of them in the city huh odd was just the special unusual animal George was looking for come on I'll show you where to find it George still hadn't seen the fawn or learn what its tracks looked like these were the biggest tracks George had seen so far something extra large must have left them they looked like big duck tracks a big duck would make it to a British photo [Music] this was like the long track the garter snake made the giant dug with a snake's tail would make an even better picture [Music] but a huge snake with duck feet would be the most incredible photo of all maybe it swam back home George remembered he'd seen big tracks like these there they were dinosaur tracks a duck-billed dinosaur and the tracks were headed towards Bill's house hiya George did you see the farm [Music] yeah I guess those do look like dinosaur tracks okay yep my new boots were hurting my feet so I put these on to walk to the lake I told you I was going swimming remember hey now I know what it's like to walk in and dinosaurs footsteps with no hungry dinosaurs around George still needed that special photo for nature week it sounded like jumpy was hungry again but George had enough pictures of that squirrel for such big animals those deer left pretty small tracks hey deer tracks Wow you use fruits and vegetables to lure the deer to our house so you could take photos look at these wonderful deer how did you manage to capture such amazing photos George oh you know George he just used his imagination isn't that right George was conducting an important experiment testing the bounce factor of the living room furniture this part of the couch made a different sound that wasn't the couch it sounded big it sounded heavy and it came from up there [Laughter] [Music] you must have heard our new neighbor walking around he moved in last week what George had heard seemed heavier than footsteps what are you doing George you must have heard our neighbor walking that's all it could be it's not like he's got some wild animal up there [Music] the man with the yellow hat lived with George so why couldn't the new neighbor live with an animal what kind of course the new neighbor had brought home an elephant the man with the yellow hat had to hear this [Applause] [Music] George you dreamt about an elephant oh [Music] [Laughter] [Music] no more nature books before you go to sleep George they're obviously giving you strange dreams yes hi there we're your downstairs neighbors and oh so nice to meet you [Music] what's he doing I think he's looking for your elephant my wat oh we heard some loud sounds very loud sounds very loud oh I am so sorry sometimes I get carried away working on my art I am an artist I do murals I mixed my paint here then I use these barber stars I made here's one of my completed works [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh well we also heard something like a bag of rocks dropping do you use rocks in your work no that was about go groceries he fell off the counter what on earth is that sounds like an elephant finger-painting it does [Music] [Applause] welcome to the incredible edible Arboretum a cornucopia of exotic comestibles [Music] all right yep blueberries are my favorite push-based fruit come on George [Music] it looks like you all forgot the County sprout rules [Music] rule number one never eat any plant that you're not 100% certain is safe and that means consulting the edible plants guidebook um no it means getting an okay from an adult right rule number two plants are living things you can kill or hurt them if you're too rough so don't pull on them and don't break any branches come on why is the screen flickering either the earth is off its axis or I forgot to charge the batteries okay George can you climb that tree and see where we are and bill bill bill where you going don't worry I've got my handy backup compass this way folks bill a sprout never leaves the trail that bet that's rule number three in this direction green in this direction George couldn't believe what he was seeing someone was trying to break that branch somebody was not being a sprout no this man was wrecking a tree [Music] hey are you a monkey cool I always wanted a monkey but my mother said no George had to do something and fast this tree was in trouble [Music] Hey return the headgear monkey George didn't mean for the hat to get wet or the man but George couldn't wait around he had to check on that tree George wished he could think of a way to get the branches back on the tree he needed something sticky really sticky like I'm sorry I left you in that tree Oh dr. green-bean nice to see you sorry we're late we've had a rough day tell me about it first this monkey ran off with my hat and now my tree lopper has vanished hey what's going on well put mud on this George ah so dr. green-bean was cutting some branches and you thought he was hurting the tree oh you should have asked oh wait oh you're a monkey well anyway this is called pruning you make a careful cut and it doesn't hurt the tree at all mr. according to this you're going the exact wrong wait you're going the right way [Applause] [Music] oh good morning George I'm gonna sleep five more minutes okay [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] so come on down to Sadie island that ride the turbo Python 3000 that's captain's orders [Music] everyone was excited about riding the turbo Python 3000 except the man with the yellow hat he was afraid of roller coasters and remembered the first and last time he rode a roller coaster it was so long ago he was just the boy with the yellow hat and since that day roller coasters upset him okay I'm a grown man I have no reason to fear a roller coaster [Applause] enjoy the ride George whoo I am thirsty [Music] excuse me I'm sorry but you can't ride the turbo Python 3000 oh you have to be as tall as this sign to ride and you're not that's it honey go to sleep nothing makes you grow like a good sleep prayer and I want you to grow up to be big and healthy [Music] all this growing made George tired if sleep made you grow he could do two things at once [Music] sleep made George grow a lot at least in his dream I'm sorry you can't ride the turbo Python 3000 you're too big George didn't grow as big as he had in his dream but he grew enough to be five licorice whips tall seeing Betsy lose her hat reminded the man with the yellow hat of that fateful day [Music] that's it I'm not afraid of roller coasters I'm afraid of losing my yellow hat your hat is safe but see watch with all the sour faces I don't like sour faces at me park you know hey there captain zany you see this monkeys too short to ride the turbo Python 3000 too short he's not too sort monkeys don't grow very big that's why we have feed you must be this tall if you're a monkey side you can ride George and I'm coming with you but first give me all your licorice [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that time in the city when all little monkeys like to hear a good story of all the bedtime stories double-oh doggy was George's favorite it's a super spies job to discover secrets and double-oh doggy is the best he has lots of tools to help him that's a periscope remember well inside the tube are two mirrors the mirror at this end reflects whatever it's pointing at to a mirror at this end that way double-oh doggy can see things without being seen himself alright good night little spy monkey the next day George started practicing to be a super spy like double-oh doggy [Music] George if you have any paper to recycle put it in this bin okay um George [Music] a superspy needed a spy named George became double-oh monkey professor Wiseman I was wondering can we meet an hour later a superspy had to be smart quiet and quick with his hands and feet there's this thing I want to get for George he is going to love it [Music] sometimes super spies had to go undercover great see you then he'd only been a super spy for two minutes and double-oh monkey already had his first spy mission find out what a man with the yellow hat was going to get him [Music] it took a while to get the angle of the periscope just right he was gonna need something to hold it all together [Music] at last double-o monkey at his spy periscope and not a moment too soon [Music] except maybe charkie [Music] [Music] how could he keep his eye on the man with the yellow hat now [Music] [Music] you wouldn't be a spy monkey Buju hey did you make this Wow this is very good really but you know it's not nice to spy on people and can ruin surprises like this [Applause] now do you want an official double-oh doggy periscope or would you rather just make another one both well you're a super spy monkey you need lots of ways to keep your eyes on things [Applause] natural geometric exploring presents Pirates of the water guys yeah how'd you like to sail a ship like that humbly now there was a ship that couldn't be sunk by monkey breath the ssy Vickers was attacked by the bold pirate black hat Besame pirate vessel off the port bow All Hands to stations whole wing coxal [Music] those ships were so dignified in neat wouldn't it be great to be an old-time captain the neatest ship to ever set sail was the SS dignified its commander was world renowned captain Hundley no other captain was as smart as orderly or at his weddin owes all's clear captain Hundley sir whoa thank you sir you know how much your approval means to me sir captain Honda's crew was always orderly and efficient [Music] no one knew how to ride the breezes like captain Hundley the greatest sailor in the history of wind but all was not smooth sailing roll the wind was so strong the Pirates were upon the dignified before captain Hundley could give orders the Pirates were led by yellow hat the pirate he's famous you know hi how are you we're uh taking over your ship because of well you know that's that's what Pirates do but the most undignified thing wasn't putting captain Hundley in his own Brig it was this who are you I like you already come on out and have fun with us George wanted to hang it up where captain Hundley could enjoy it damn George got an idea about how he could really help captain Hundley [Applause] [Music] [Music] George are you down here all my goodness I mean our wake up I'll put on life vest we're filling with water sinking we gotta get back to our own ship captain Hundley used the wind perfectly and they set sail George George [Applause] [Music] hey that sounds fun doesn't it George say Hundley your good pal George is gonna come out on the boat with us today at least Hundley knew what to expect so he was prepared hey George perfect kite flying weather huh hey careful but lose control flying a kite is all about control sorry I can't turn over control to in an experienced city kid this isn't as easy as I make it look I studied the Beaufort wind scale for three years I never make mistakes [Music] [Music] that's never coming down Oh for city kid you sure can't climb a tree not a scratch thanks George as a reward I'll let you flyer coming I promised I'd help mom got a pumpkin don't be long [Music] you watch the kite till I get back [Music] George figured he can watch the kite even better while it flew [Music] [Music] [Laughter] George was really flying that kite now or maybe it was flying him okay yeah left without saying goodbye city folk [Music] [Music] [Applause] couldn't wait boy for a city kid who never flew a kite before God or up higher than I ever did well hi bill you own binoculars sure do what's trailing behind that kite oh it's George it's George and and he's got a squirrel on his head bill you call the fire department okay why I don't know they seem to know how to do everything what are you gonna do I'm going up there after him George George it was his friend the man with the yellow hang glider alright guys hang on tight we're going home George would never forget the day he was almost a bird and he added almost being a bird to the list of things squirrels don't like you're a natural kite flier kid good work lunch is ready here's some lunch for you too jumpy it's time to play you're in George [Music] if one car was fun imagine what you could do with two George had to show his great new car shoes to someone George couldn't wait to see the look on Hundley's face that wasn't the look he expected Hundley didn't want Monte handprints all over the clean doors [Music] George didn't know how to turn around and go back I don't know we have too many roller skates now what can we do to make people more interested in skates how about having a rollerskating monkey give demonstrations and just where are we gonna find a rollerskating monkey the skates are our gift to you you just skate in front of the store whenever you can George liked his new skates but what were these black things for George thought that even Hundley would have to admire his skates especially since now he knew how to stop [Music] a monkey on wheels looked wrong but a proud sleek dachshund on nice wheels George knew exactly what Hundley wanted to do [Music] Oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] what George did they kept going faster and faster he couldn't imagine how they were ever going to stop then he could [Music] hardly I've been worried where are you you are a muddy mess Oh looks like he's not the only one we can't have the tenant see us like this Hundley I'll get a towel and get you cleaned up boy time for you to clean up too George wait a minute George Hundley was sure if that monkey and cat hadn't been around he could have learned to skate sigh weren't there two pairs of skates must have been my imagination [Music]
