[Music] [Applause] [Music] how's it going everybody welcome to MF s media thanks for tuning in today we're taking a look at the JT s the JT s group m12 8k it's a 12-gauge semi-auto eight K style shotgun that comes in at under $500 but before we get into this review I just want to say again thank you so much so much for stopping by it really means a lot to me if you guys like what you see by all means please hit that like button down below and if you want to see more like this please hit that subscribe button now in regards to more like this more videos are coming guys I promise there's been a lot going on in the personal life and all good things all been good things but those things are starting to stabilize so with that videos and all that will start coming out more frequently again we'll get back to the brn 180 upper review the PSA cold hammer-forged air 15 review and a bunch of other stuff I got planned I promise it's gonna be it's gonna be back back to normal here very very shortly so without further adieu here is this beauty I guess you've got that I like it I like it a lot so starting in the rear we have a pretty short comm block style a case stock black polymer it's got a nice it's got a rubber butt pad that you know it's a little it's kind of hard but it works it doesn't it doesn't as long as you're not shooting turkey loads through it all day every day you're good to go moving forward we have a it's it's an 8k it's a naked grip of course but I want to say the closest compare compare for comparison the closest grip I can think of is the Tapco saw grip and then moving forward we have a I don't know if there's a particular style of trick I don't think this is the G to trigger or anything I can tell you that it the trigger pole has been just fine just kind of showing you guys resets fine it's been it's been fun moving actually up here we have a Picatinny rail on a hinge dust cover will go more in depth on the internals here in a second but I just want to show you it's hinged and I'm topped with a TRS 25 sorry the Bushnell TRS 25 red dot if you guys are looking for something that's inexpensive but works look no further moving forward we have a rear dovetail with you know just like you're standing you know all your a km's and you can find now if forever it's adjustable from zero to five hundred yards now I just want to say if you're shooting this at to five hundred yards I want to see a video because that's awesome we have polymer hand guards you have your front sight post you have a adjustable gas system for your piston and then a this is a chrome lined 18 and 1/2 inch barrel with Remington style chokes so any supposedly I personally haven't been able to try it because I don't I don't own any but you can fit anywhere it's it's designed to fit any Remington style choke and we have this all sitting in the caldwell precision turret shooting rest hands down it is my favorite shooting rest you can get it for right around $80 or so and it works for everything I can't put a gun into it that it's awesome but anyways moving back to the gun here so we're gonna go over it's basically you know how reliable it's been what what you can use it for and you know parts and accessories and that sort of thing what it kind of came with that sort of thing so here are the mags comes with two five round mags with steel feed lips they have been working I haven't had any feeding issues with this whatsoever and then back to for the reliability of it I've shot about three in or between three let's just call 350 350 shells to this this weekend and 200 of that about 200 of that was target target loads so you know stuff for your clay pigeons that sort of thing not one issue I've shot steel shot number eight steel shot number seven steel shot double up buck and a very small handful of three-inch turkey rounds which actually that reminds me this does accept both two and three quarter inch shells and three inch shells so yeah anyways out of everything I shot I had zero malfunctions whatsoever at least not caused by the gun there was started there was malfunction one malfunction on one of the one of the clay pigeon rounds and all it was I think was just a bad primer because as soon as or a like primer strike of sorts because as soon as I put it back in the mag and loaded it back up it fired no problem so reliability this thing has been extremely reliable the only thing that I could think maybe in the future you know that sort of thing that could lead to reliability issues and I all right should say durability I don't know if write reliability is the thing it's got a polymer mag well now with that being said again I have not experienced any issues I don't know if I would ever experience issues but I'm not used to seeing polymer mag wells especially you know for your a K style guns but I can't imagine us too big of an issue maybe I'm thinking of nothing and that's that's perfectly fine let me know down below if if you no differently but so the gas system has from the zero to three o'clock positions sorry zero to three settings I should say and your zero year setting zero is basically if you're dealing if you're using ammunition that has like absolutely no kick whatsoever no recoil you're gonna have to use that and every single time you fire it you're gonna have to charge it back and go from there and then it suggests I believe to keep it in the one in two o'clock position and I found that the one o'clock position for every load was absolutely fine I know again no reliability issues in the one o'clock position moving inside here so again with this I like the fact it's got a push button and everything and the hinge desk cover with the Picatinny picatiny rail on top is a nice little addition you got your desk cover here your guide rod and spring just to kind of show you guys I mean it it operates the same as an a cake I'm and there's there's not really any difference here I'll get you guys a close shot close-up of the trigger and sign also but if we pull this gun and pull the bolt back comes apart there's your piston that's kind of as far as I'm gonna pull it apart for you guys there's a I'll actually be linking down below all of the the manual stuff because the manual actually breaks it down heavily it's pretty awesome but let's get this put back together and again there's pay attention to the shooting videos in the background it's it's this thing is so much fun to shoot I've been out here all day with it all weekend pretty much and it's been it's been a blast so reliability has been awesome some things that you guys could do with this it could very easily be something you can hunt with the fact that it can have different you know you like bird hunting that sort of thing probably have to modify one or two of the mags so that you can so that you can you know legally hunt depending on your state that sort of thing but you could use it for home defense easily thrown to devil op buck and I I pity the person that decides to come knocking for other mags and so it supports Saiga mags and the maxim sells so again these these ones are made in China I've had no issues with them but the you can take Saiga mags and I believe I'll I'll note it right here you can take other style mags up and they sell on their website up to ten round mags I've also seen people that have been able to modify 25 round drums to fit in these I I don't know the exact process of doing that I don't have any 25 round 12-gauge drums laying around but supposedly you can do it so you know it other than the actual furniture portion of it because I don't know of any furniture you can use for it other than a again out of the box if you modify it it works but out of the box I'm unaware of any furniture that you can use for it that's a little bit of downside for me personally and you know but overall this has been an awesome gun to shoot and for five hundred dollars or less there's no I've not seen a retail above 450 personally so I'm gonna link those down below for you know if it's on youtube it's unfortunately not going to see it but head over to the Facebook page or two gun streamer and we'll have full links there but this has been an awesome gun to shoot I definitely suggest that if you're wanting something fun and there is some practicality to it by all means you can use it for like I said home defense hunting it would be a fun very fun gun so without further ado thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you on the next one bye [Music]
