it's so stupid you said he's at that yeah we all love to speak for yourself I'm a proud man but a faithful black male community you [ __ ] buddies you got chicks that he [ __ ] we recording hold on Charlemagne to God and Rochelle we are two brilliant idiots in this episode is sponsored by nobody well we don't know yet do we know well either way go Basha point anxiety playing tricks on me it's not everywhere now everywhere you buy books you got any church enough I do man San Diego this weekend make sure you go get them tix I think a couple shows are sold out but the couple shows left them doing four shows Friday Saturday is San Diego and then at lay the 28th first show sold out second show I think we got like 20 tickets left that's when I'm recording this now on Wednesday so go on there's two shows there's some weird thing where if you google my name it only shows the first show says sold out but there are two shows go to the end Rachelle's calm and there's a link for the the show that still has some tickets available and then of course March 3rd through the 30th views from the SIS every Sunday on youtube.com slash Deandra shells can't [ __ ] wait to show you guys this every Sunday a new part of the special is dropping and then every Thursday in March on youtube.com slash the end results a new part of the tour documentary is is dropping as well so I'm dropping a whole stand-up special and a whole tour documentary it's gonna be wild man so I can't wait for y'all to see it but let's get it started just start to show if you heard us beforehand bantering we was talking about Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua was on The Breakfast Club this week Anthony Joshua is one of the heavyweight champions of the world yes he has four belts who knows anymore yeah pretty short for belts I forgot how much the Antigua I think the anti got to three make Josh's WBC so I think yes he yes so in order for him he has all yes I think Joshua has all the belts but while I have the WBC so in order to be the undisputed unified champion he would have to have all girls like Infinity stones basically exactly yeah and Joshua's well I think you would call the lineal thank you lineal is that when you have multiple belts or maybe liniment when you didn't lose title I thought lineal meant when you didn't lose the champion something fury the lineal champ could he'd never lost in the rain I was taken away from him or it was okay okay I don't [ __ ] know all I know of anything jaws was a big deal gets hundreds of millions of dollars a fight twenty million dollars a fight some [ __ ] like that I had a bunch of security but we was talking about the fact that he said in an interview he was a thot I'm saying and he was like all men have a little thought in them and like no not anymore I'm a proud member the faithful black male community him 29 years old testosterone level much higher than mine you know what I'm saying single right you know I'm saying I'm sure he's still out here smashing everything right and he has every right to yeah not mad at that at all but he wanted you to know I forgot how we even got on the conversation he was telling me about this woman that he had eyes on it to rock nation brunch he wasn't at the brunch uh-huh somebody sent him a picture of some model and he was trying to figure out who the model was right yeah so he's one that he's still on the prowl like that what if Anthony Joshua is hitting on your girl at a party you got a step to him and how would you step to him exactly you step to him like [ __ ] who the [ __ ] you think you playing with okay my height don't fight and my gun goes BAM okay I have a gun you got a flex like I know you from you know but what if he's like okay shoot me I'm like all right wait right here take your girl with you say you stay right here and see what happens if you keep staying in there right I don't think you were staying there his knuckles were bloody - I don't understand why now he's probably punching bags man yeah but your knuckles still bloody fresh who knows it man who punches with power I don't know if he wasn't using raps I know big baby push the [ __ ] out of him yesterday he did push him but then Anthony Joshua was not face at all like this what that push like that's it was too much yeah but we talking about it now it's the exact thing you got to do true something like if you can't this why I respect my boy Israel out of Sanya you know he has style bender oh yes a guy and he's gonna have a title fight coming up again Gastelum yeah he's gonna have another title fight coming up okay I can Kelly gas on them but um or the first one coming up and what I respected about his is his promo was just all about him right he didn't use the the classic which is very effective but some might say low-hanging fruit the Conor McGregor way which is like alright I'm just gonna call you all these names and we're going to create this beef and it's gonna be what it is do like is he in the pre-workout he choreographed [ __ ] he's doing wrestling moves throwing the people's elbow he's just having fun in there you know and I think what what people people were essentially drawn to that they're like I just want to watch this guy he looks like a fun figure what the [ __ ] is gonna happen I never can predict what's gonna happen etc and I think you can do that in boxing you just need to be a star to do it no what do you mean you can do that in boxing but you've got to do it stabbed ended up going to [ __ ] somebody uh-oh you need to be a star yes I'm saying you need to be a true hero to the star we ain't [ __ ] nobody yeah and to be honest Adrian can sell a fight just on him that's a great example yeah a drink can sell a fight on his own antics nobody gave a [ __ ] what he said to Manny yeah but that should wears out when you don't win when you play he's still here you don't think we're gonna watch Adrian fight again we should just watch Adrian fight non boxers one more we should watch Adrian fly wrappers that should be the new thing career just rappers talk a lot of [ __ ] Adrien Broner 56 line it up nine fifty privately big fifty washing but it's a professional fighter yeah fifty awajum you know because he was a good people forget fifty with a Golden Glove yeah but there's a difference between being you know a box a little body shot you going yeah fit going down from that now fifty just beat up any regular dude of course he's got that experience yeah but that's the fight that I would see like Logan Paul this this like you tuber fought another youtuber and they made more money than 90% of boxers or MMA fighters making the rink yeah cuz we just care about the hype yeah but you like you just have to not a box like even with and on the flip side with somebody like Anthony Joshua big baby pushes the [ __ ] out Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua was all calm cool super calm that's great if you're going in knock him the [ __ ] out on you first you got to be vicious in the ring but you aren't on this what you aren't on this promo talking that should be gotta be in the ring bro you gotta be cuz adrian is so Adrien Broner is so extra everywhere else and the ring you hold in his hands you know what I'm saying hey that's a Grimm says it's like where's the energy that energy so if you don't have the energy when you're not in the ring you had a deci when you're in the ring right Anthony's house boy has to knock out I told Matt you have to knock out big babe and what do you say to that he's like you're right you're absolutely right you can't go if you go decision with big baby we all be looking at you like this he ain't who he say he is and is your first fight in America this is America Jack hey I didn't even realize he was his first fight in America that's ready for clips go out in like in the UK where defy Klitschko I think he fought the first one Germany nothing okay maybe I don't know always 502 arena 80,000 people hundred thousand people it's insane best boxing fans in the world well Mexican - but like unbelievable boxing fans out there who have no arena in Mexico - they do they've got that soccer stadium bro you're right that's a well I'm gonna build a boxing arena right across the border half of the boxing arena is the [ __ ] wall cuz you need walls for an arena right so you build this ring you build this big-ass wall there's no entrances this is the wall but attached to it is a boxing arena come on now that's kind of hot boy if Mexicans were really into MMA you just build a cage come on build a cage around I'm just saying it's ways around this thing we're not thinking we're not multitasking here that's all I'm saying but are you gonna interview Miller oh no they keep asking my guy to trained me is his like strength and conditioning coach yeah great dude and and yeah he thinks it I mean obviously he's not he's biased but he thinks he's got a shot to get shot so he thinks Josh was an overrated boxer and Miller can fight he just got soft hands but he could fight I have been saying I think Anthony Josh was overrated for a long time but it looks at me like I'm crazy right I don't think and I told him that today I don't think you could beat Luis Ortiz I don't think you could beat Tyson Fury and I don't think you could be wild that is my personal there's a reason he's going up there against big baby cuz they're trying to continue to grow the brand of Anthony Josh absolutely it's in it's a good it's a good opponent to grow the brand because even if baby locks in and [ __ ] rocks you he doesn't have the one punch concussive power yeah big baby talk so much [ __ ] like you say it's a great sparring partner it's great small party he talks bad [ __ ] it's a boy so it's like when you go in and you beat him yeah it looks like you really beat somebody yeah yeah I mean we don't know Anthony Joshua in America like that yeah massive superstar yeah yeah even when he rolled into the Breakfast Club security like look like this [ __ ] president all today like this he looks like the star girls loving with girls he's one of those people when they're introduced to him they gonna fall in love with him really oh yeah yeah yeah yeah what you think tail cheese hello Taylor can't get enough really Taylor you're into dreamy dreamy what kind of British accent I don't even know how this guy talks deep British deep British yeah yeah he's not crazy trying to say American slang like that us got on us Warda bond boy bond why are you [ __ ] shot in the Hannah Montana hand to my heart yeah you Kevin he was like you know you puts it he was like you know you putting that down keep your nut down house like what now keep your nut down keep your nut down I don't know what you're saying keep your nut down I understood that I still don't I thought you meant like see me like let's see nothing yeah what was he saying his head straight that's what you say keep your head straight keep your nut down I guess you know they say oh you're a [ __ ] nut so here's like keep your nut down the more you say it does it make more sense or less sense cuz I'm more confused than more of you said it it made sense when he said I get what he was trying to keep your nut down keep your head down stay focused don't be a nut don't be a nut keep the inner nut inside of you from [ __ ] surfacing and ruining your life babe right keep it shut down I don't know either way Jill fires him you big baby Miller fighting at MSG Emma's heat is off we went to a dissolve I hello uh I forgot what that guy was Cannella for some time I'm talking a lot about knocked the [ __ ] out in a third for 8 million would you do it you get knocked out there from body shot not gonna talk about a head shot now I'm at um like I got a fight I'm gonna get knocked out anyway but I'm a fight I'm not gonna just going incur you know say you're gonna get more hurt if you try to you know keep [ __ ] down I just saw home feud hit man I'm going in take a body shot a to but I'm not gonna just you're not I'm gonna suck on let you beat me I want to fight right you know say I'm gonna lose anyway yeah so let me fight yeah so yeah I'll do it fate million have you ever been knocked down knocked out no I never been knocked up ever been caught like good punch to the face stunned yeah saw before to call me a few times now yeah you just tapping you I saw that [ __ ] did you think him [ __ ] hurt but you've never been like somebody that just really oh yeah that gets real bro I never had that experience yeah I can take a point you seem I can't I get a drop VDO missed now from behind yeah oh good you're the real black Neil look man nobody got that I mean listen it's gonna be a good fight not really Anthony Johnson Co beat him in eight rounds I don't over the last that loss a man you know sneaky you see sneaky he's sneaky man he's a sneaky fighter really yeah he's good he's a good fighter no [ __ ] throws a lot of punches yeah you don't hit hard enough he doesn't hit hard enough but the issue is is can Joshua hit him and then when he does can big baby handle the punch Joshua definitely hit me baby alright yeah I just don't think big babies quick enough that's one thing I will give Joshua he's very athletic incredulous ah yeah you know I'm saying he's like a really good shape he's one of those guys that like he was an athlete before he was a boxer and they're like well what are we gonna do with this guy actually was indiscrete well sure but he was born an athlete I mean - DNA yeah just like music natural born you know some guys like find you like Antonio Gates the tight end for the San Diego Chargers yeah he was he played basketball in college and then he found football after I think jobs were found boxing pretty late yeah he started late cuz he was trying to start the street from what he told us today right he was a hustler yeah he sold TVs all of that [ __ ] whatever you need it he gets you really he said he was always the guy that knew how to get to the plug that's who he was I mean it's interesting I like anybody that has achieved massive levels of success contrary to a lot of Americans popular belief it is people outside of this country who else successful massive success like there is no boxer in America right now yeah that especially an American boxer that has the level of stardom he has as a box as a boxer in the UK yeah yeah it's not good he's cute it helps it doesn't it breeze looking good brings the chicks in like Oscar De La Hoya his fights it used to be like I mean Backstreet Boy concerts bro there was chicks everywhere I know every single one of those chicks aged terribly to bottle it might've aged terribly why do you say that you you want to fight when Oscar walked in at the Canelo fight freaked out everybody stood up who the [ __ ] is walking in here freaked out it was goddamn Oscar De La Hoya who we got some ads let's go back to the pre-roll before that before you know that okay talking about paying bills right you could possibly have an amazing debt to pay okay not true listen listen you don't know what I'm talking about nobody knows what I'm talking about there's sixty nine different things I could be talking about right now there's no possible way that you could so what is everybody taking this so literal I guess literally listen you know is this one girl was like you nasty yes so was gonna interpret what you say oh that video worried about the interpretation you see the video MV was lamb but the girl don't you dare change the subject see about the p2p I see one woman it was a girl doing a video or she was like don't think that we forgot Charlemagne you creepy nasty [ __ ] but no reason at all you said you suck six nine stick and don't think that we forgot that you want something you gotta insert that that's to do you just remind me about that right now I did not know that that we're talking about that thank you bring that up so there was a bet and you said if six nine avoids jail time you'll suck his dick that was not a literal bit well what was it that's like biggie saying our [ __ ] RuPaul before I [ __ ] them ugly ass escape girls now here's the [ __ ] RuPaul here's a question I would be no better example one because you look so good I'd suck on your daddy's dick it's really a girl I look so good you suck on your first bottle penis that girl doesn't know her dad second of all escaped did he [ __ ] any of those girls I don't know well if he didn't he fought group oh no he didn't he [ __ ] one of those girls that means he [ __ ] RuPaul first no he said I would [ __ ] RuPaul before I [ __ ] one of them ugly ass escape it so that means if he [ __ ] an escaped [ __ ] he had [ __ ] RuPaul first let's not call them [ __ ] cuz they're still alive and one of them is Tia's wife oh my goodness mocha I am so sorry mister yeah rubber pants one rapper that will run up on you that is true it is definitely welcome it I will catch that lawsuit very quickly he don't care do you think this guy swung on Floyd Mayweather yeah but Floyd doesn't gain anything by suing ti it doesn't matter I don't gain anything by swinging on a man with 20 security but he could not come out they both small without a disease it's a risky thing I went to TI's trap music museum I've invested in his career yes you sucking near yeah I just want to know if you were taking this literally say again that's all why would you think that's a bet on my honor I'm not Andy from the [ __ ] fire festival baby you are Sharla maybe you got no and look furthermore what makes y'all think the conscious it's 90 beat in his case sorry what makes you think he's B in this case I my understanding is that he could avoid jail time as long as he cooperates no we can get into that conversation next that's not true doe what is it what's happening this is the problem and you can talk about this we talk about this all the time right his baby mama does one interview a flat TV mm-hmm the baby mama reads paperwork flat TV says his baby mama what does that mean to you maybe mama says well I mean he's cooperating so he's not gonna get no jail time next thing you know every [ __ ] headline on every hip-hop website right mr. Kashi 69 is going to avoid jail time when you actually read the plea deal with the plea deal says is he had a maximum of life right a minimum of 47 right the prosecutor said what we're going to do is ask that he gets less than the minimum sentence so that could be anything from the teens are a lot less are you I'm on the record saying he'll probably get the Bobby shmurda got seven to cash if I get seven to ten really said that already but nobody reads my body cares they want me to suck dick so bad they just like hey you gotta suck his dick he's gonna beat this case furthermore is snitching beat in the case see that's that's where I got a little iffy with things cuz my understanding was you said that if he beats it then you suck his dick beating is beating is the beating is the lawyers he wins he wins the project like we don't have no evidence to convict him whatever whatever lawyers whatever they do would ever be snitching ain't beatin Berber but then I was told and we have to go back and check the tapes but then I was told you just said if he avoids jail time then I don't even talk like that yes that's that's like real legal jargon fine what would what would he have to do for you to suck his dick nothing really that's pretty easy conjugal there's nothing that would make me suck his dick I'm not sucking dick we start taking dick sucking so literally goddamn biggie used to crap about sucking dick like it was nothing yeah but you you've even said the podcast that if you invite another man to your mouth and that's a fight I didn't say I want him to suck my dick Isis first of all that's how okay and what's the thickness that [ __ ] you're doing YouTube no question of the day no the inside jokes Shaco inside jokes creation of the joke all the time people suck dick suck my dick sucked my dick suck my dick suck my dick right so I go I'm so confident that he's not gonna beat this case a man yeah Takashi beats this case I'll suck his dick yeah we can work on the literally my gran once said no one cares about the truth when the lies was born and we go like this large that his soul is so many means its memes of me yeah anyone like this going listening to myself thing you're just one headline said for no good apparent reason Oh Charlemagne said if Takashi beats this case he'll suck his dick err do we live in did you learn anything from this experience DMX aid yeah oh you can't step into jail before can suck my dick was he being literal we don't know wasn't being literal who are they Charlemagne muscle you were just being metaphorical I thought I was yeah I thought I was putting together two scenarios god she's always running around saying suck my dick suck my dick so I said if he beats this case I'll suck his dick I didn't think go to something that motherfucker's one guy my DMS all he does is keep sending me yo Sharla bout to show us what that listens to the funniest [ __ ] about it if this [ __ ] was said months ago this [ __ ] was said months ago right now listen think about the area we live in we live in the ATD era where [ __ ] forget [ __ ] like that not now when it comes to me like nope six nines rainbows eggplants would like to spit emoji we have to admit it would be hilarious if when he does get out you greet him just him walk it down those stairs ain't never sucked a dick in my life yeah it's okay no I mean yet no you haven't yet never but we don't know it is never I've never sucked a dick but I don't know I don't know what might happen I don't know what might happen it won't be for recreation this is not for recreation this is for your word now [ __ ] my word they say all the man has is his word or his balls not another's in my mouth okay nobody else's my balls will be in my mouth cause of my [ __ ] words only thing I've ever tried sucks bro really every man's tried to suck your own dick can't what if you know that's true that's true why is Tilly Yellin thank you like you if guys try yeah of course that's why I'm surprised like dogs learn tricks because you know you know what made me try to suck my dick on Jim why would you learn anything when I heard about Marilyn Manson getting his ribs removed so he could suck yeah you keep sucking dick oh and you could know I've tried oh ok ok I gotta have a huge [ __ ] tubular suck you gotta have a big dick and flexibility yeah yeah yeah I never could try I'd never I've tried yeah how close can you get he's just hock a loogie on the tip of it we got nations to build walls to make it's not the same thing as math be it's not burnouts a wild level of mastery Maji that's that that is not the same as Master bean also we gotta give something you know for women to do better than us what do you mean like if we could suck her own dicks then it would really ruin the [ __ ] experience from a woman nah cuz you couldn't do everything that a woman could do but do you like when a girl just jerks you off no of course not it depends though I had a girlfriend once who was a virgin uh-huh and she did not want to live or Jenny she used to give me hand jobs and at the time those hand jobs were incredible right only because I didn't have any other options no I'm saying so just getting something from her was incredible I understand it's like the rice that they drop on the countries you know with no food it's like this is awesome exactly if you're in America and someone's dropping rice on your front lawn you're like I'm good on the right yeah suck your own dick I mean like [ __ ] go ham on it it was easy no flexibility no girls gonna be able to compete with that she doesn't have a dick to practice on cuz it's just like masturbating but you still want you still want actual vagina how many girls are wacky giving head and they get to do it all the time because because masturbation is not like you're you're jerking off as a substitution for vagina correct it's not like you're feeding for a [ __ ] right the other thing yeah yeah so if you could do it yourself it's something about watching a beautiful woman down there with her hair just you know going down our bags understand you know say that but like do you feel that you wouldn't say the same thing about jerking off right when a girl's whacking you off you wouldn't be like God is something about a girl just with her hair going down go back dude when the girls here coming off is just awful I love I like to be jerked during a [ __ ] I'm actually thinking about him I'm just she's jerking you off and you're just standing it's just weird you're like looking at each it like oh my angels you lay on the bed and then they sit on the bed and they just never go off naked you know Atari that that's it treat my penis like it's a joystick guys like you're driving a car yeah you're driving stick shift that's that's that's sexy ya know saying low head in between now you're adding head into it you can't aright right it's just a [ __ ] it's just an odd experience yeah listen man Tristan Thompson bro oh my god I don't know what the [ __ ] is up with Tristan Thompson and I don't know why Tristan Thompson continues to engage in PDI PDI is public displays of infidelity yeah let me tell you it's all [ __ ] something right some of y'all just too tall to be [ __ ] cheatin publicly if you're over first of all if you're a black man that's over six five every room you walk in somebody's looking at you saying who the [ __ ] does he play for I promise you it says a lot of people you're just is that LeBron that God is gonna name the Fuhrer is that Kevin Durant it's gonna name the first tall wall plate I can think of right this [ __ ] Tristan Thompson be all out in front of people cheatin can you explain the story of what happened because I just I don't know where he is how long he's gonna allegedly Tristan Thompson was uh out two in the morning um he met some woman the woman yelled at him you cheatin ass [ __ ] threw bleach on him put a noose around his neck [ __ ] all right some some [ __ ] I don't know what the final I'm not sure what the [ __ ] story I think that was the story like that right yeah the girl flew back to Nigeria girl flew back tonight the white girl but it isn't up being a Nigerian this happens yeah it's crazy white girls get confused Imagineers oh all the time it's like I don't know oh you have the story oh don't forget tales so he had it he had a house party it was he threw the party and he cheated in his own party Oh [ __ ] he was spotted at a party over the weekend snuggled up with Jordan woods never heard of her god bless the Jordan Woods is Kylie's best friend and Tristan was caught cheating on Chloe wait Jordan woods so him and Jordan was allegedly all hugged up at this party and Jordan is Kylie's best friend this is weird because look some people cheat some people dull whatever it doesn't matter this is like the most disrespectful you can be with cheating now people are gonna say are there's no levels to cheating but there are levels of cheating yes if you cheat in a foreign country and nobody [ __ ] knows it ever happened you're not disrespecting your wife nothing's happening publicly there's no seating it's about - getting caught don't get caught the card you're getting caught is what causes the pain I hurt you no I'm saying getting caught is was disrespectful absolutely fab day you disrespect your wife and you caught cheating and boom and like and just put it out there like even with girls like girls are at a bachelorette party right and the male strippers over there and you guys are like you know playing stupid games just slapping his dick this that the other like that like look I'm not saying that I want my wife to do it but as long as none of your friends are taking videos and put it on snapchat and Instagram it's like I don't know that happened out of my mind what did you put your dick in her mouth can't don't put this guy's dick in your mouth and it's also you're doing it for sport like did you know I mean like if you're gonna put a dick in your mouth like at least really want that dick in your mouth don't do it like because your friends are going on are better some would you say nothing what do you think Laura like the honor a bit [Laughter] no just be suckin the sulk hawkman have integrity yeah shout to Monique but our thing is this I don't like I don't I just want Tristan Thompson and I understand he's only 27 27 years old multi-millionaire it's long enough me sorry bro you've been [ __ ] a lot of girls since you're 19 years old but the thing is it's like yo you and Chloe clearly aren't together like yo y'all you're really acting like that union that you and Chloe have is literally the Cleveland Cavaliers like your 14th in the Eastern Conference right you have no chance to make the playoffs far from a championship you just got hit losing [ __ ] games in order to get a good draft pick you know I'm saying is you need to do is let is just get waived he's tanking the merit that's it Chloe waived you you're taking the [ __ ] Union Chloe waves you now you can go be a free agent and [ __ ] caught a bunch of bunch of different suitors until you find a team that you want to commit that's a good point maybe you did on purpose it almost seems like you're right it seems like it's scripted by the Kardashians it'll always know it's always it's always something on in the inner circle it's like yo if we're gonna break up we need to get some content out of this Chloe you might have did it Chloe might say yo Jordan do get on his lap kiss him a little bit you part of the family you part of the clique and you know what you don't have to be we could get you out of here the only reason you got anything excuse you're friends with homegirl yes right and so we could get you out of here immediately what should he do is flirt with my husband give me an excuse to break up with him where I don't look like a piece of [ __ ] right yes I should've got out before when I wouldn't you cheated but I decided to stay in now I realize I want nothing doing I'm flirt with this ass make him make me look stupid so I look like this hero I look like this empowered feminist who's kicking a cheating boyfriend her husband to the side he looks like a bum now we're off to the races Wow could be no no that's just a brilliant idiots conspiracy theory we don't have to be the case you know I'm saying but it almost sounds too good to be [ __ ] true it's too interesting you got to be smart like I said he told everybody put his [ __ ] put their phones away brah don't matter if the phones away at night that's just sister's best friend is gonna go around yeah people they're going to talk yeah like the target conversation is worse than the actual video mmm because at least of this video you either caught red-handed you can say this is [ __ ] look I was minding my [ __ ] business you know right I can touch that girl you know me why would I ever do something like that now that there's no video that says everybody's worried against yours right now what yo not what he should have said he should have said Jordan Jordan Woods got in his lap and said hey this is Magga country yes you will make out with me and Trish was like yo I had the Burberry hoodie on with the noose around my neck yo you're so crazy about this [ __ ] it's like all these brands I did a little research into these fashion brands all these brands are owned by the same fashion houses it's only to write you skip no matter I got these four I think it's four three three or four right and it's like these fashion houses are similar to like Viacom with TV like Viacom owns MTV vh1 BT a bunch of different channels right so like there's a fashion house that owns I'm gonna get this wrong but for example one faction a Lowe's Burberry Louis Vuitton and Montclair all these different brands within it right and if all these brands keep putting out [ __ ] that's offensive to black people right and it gets more and more offensive right clearly I think there's a message they're trying to say right the deuce is wild the news is like look if y'all are there's any mistake about this blackface shine watch this hold my beer wait for literally it's like the fashion house has had a meeting and they were like okay how can we get black people to stop wearing our [ __ ] though some monkeys on it right this is two years back throw some monkeys on it you see the montclair jacket right you see the even H&M [ __ ] which at first I defend I think hmm was a Lulu I don't think that was still might not be there wasn't the shirt it was the kid they had the black kid wearing it that's it right but cool is muggy what I'm saying is like it starts out very subtle in a high-end brand it's not it's not who knows but who knows who knows right but like the I don't try to feed into this like Internet paranoia [ __ ] but eventually it gets so blatantly obvious I think there's a message here right you go into that you okay there's the monkeys hanging off the bags it was Chanel or Gucci or some [ __ ] like that right so it's like okay maybe if we put monkeys on the bags right they're not gonna buy a bag because what black person's gonna walk around with a little monkey figure but that's maybe that's their thinking people still buy in the bag sir how [ __ ] all right well what do we got it to next okay let's put the [ __ ] character let's put a [ __ ] character on inside of the jacket still bind the checker jesus [ __ ] christ okay let's just do blackface on a turtleneck a turtleneck like the turtleneck is $1,000 and it's got a hole in the part that's supposed to keep your neck warm why the [ __ ] would anybody even buy that functionally makes no [ __ ] sense right like would you buy a hat that had to keep your head warm that had a [ __ ] hole whatta [ __ ] would you wait it by the way it's not a turtleneck if it goes over your mouth exactly it's past your neck already it's just so stupid so eventually you got to look at the fashion houses and be like is there a clear message that they're trying to say which is hey we are trying to who's buying the majority their [ __ ] now you could think me you well I mean you've got lots of money but like if I buy anything from a designer brand it's the cheapest [ __ ] that they got I don't even wait us you don't but like for example like I got it I got a Burberry wallet that I got years ago it's [ __ ] falling apart it's broken right but I can buy I can afford to buy this because it's like okay maybe the wallet threw her on but I'll ask me three for years okay that's the type of [ __ ] that we're buying right when we buy some Gucci shoes or Luci sneakers it's cheap and we can stretch those out for years they're not worried about someone could stretch it out for years they're selling to people the ideal client is someone who buys seasonally they like Gucci spring [ __ ] then they buy this summer then they buy the fall then that by the winter that's where they making their money you know the clothes are a loss leader I keep telling y'all money off clothes as well but they're allowed to do it as a loss leader as long as the right people wear those clothes right yeah it's just like for example like a loss leaders is a is a is a when you have a store on Fifth Avenue right you're allowed to lose money on your store in Fifth Avenue because it looks good for the brand the your stores on Fifth Avenue right so you're allowed to lose money on Gucci's clothing if the handbags do great the fragrances do great [ __ ] the handbags the phrase if the right people are wearing the clothing well the promo items exactly the Princess of Monaco is wearing Gucci but I got a feeling that the Princess of Monaco is looking at Soulja Boy wearing the exact same backpack and she's like I don't really want to wear that backpack anymore the whole point of wearing these clothes is exclusivity the entire thing about it is I'm gonna wear something that people poorer than me cannot wear right that's the whole thing when you put on Gucci you're saying I'm richer than you and if the perception is people that they're trying to look better than you and I don't give a [ __ ] no but they clearly care yeah so if the perception is the people that you're trying to look better then you're kind of look classier then you're trying to look richer than are also wearing your clothes the same closes you you're like I'm wearing these shits I'm a delivery guy come to my apartment we're wearing the same Jordans I was like I don't know if I could wear these value in it is that everybody can't get it you know I'm saying it's a class thing like that's all it really boils down to like all of these clothes are at an example of classism now you got some well [ __ ] who live in section 8 apartment and they got Gucci every day Wow you know why could it makes them feel like they're actually employed completely get why someone section eight would want to wear it I can see I've been there I've been the guy with nothing and then you have like a nice jacket or something it makes you feel a little better it elevates you right it's like steroids for your self-esteem yeah you know walking around feeling cool and you're you know Burberry hat or some [ __ ] like that I remember going through a [ __ ] about as a kid I did security that yeah I think I bought like three Gucci belts in my life literally right and that's it right but you understand like what goes behind it right like why someone would want to do it I think you don't but I think it's dumb sure but you understand why people do it because we all want except as we don't want to feel like we got something like it's what the reason why people buy these expensive ass cars and they don't have a house yeah yeah yeah like that [ __ ] Escalade in front of the project that they lease some [ __ ] right so it's like the brand's I think are trying to make a statement in the most defensible way that they can know the news is while the news is nothing like that's not even like sketchy you know what I'm saying that's not even like yeah you know maybe the cools monkeys I do it know a [ __ ] news bro its plan and it's actually great timing because you just got justice Millette saying that he [ __ ] had a noose around his neck it's on the heels it is [ __ ] Gucci [ __ ] like boom I bet you don't that would you like me really exists no really crazy all this [ __ ] we see on the runway doesn't exist it's a concept thing like concept cars I just learned this [ __ ] I have to get into what this was and you never see it I thought of the Riddler you don't see you outside the runway it's just like when you see those images of like the new Mercedes from the Year 2023 yeah like you're never gonna see that car like why don't you understand the point of going through these [ __ ] runway shows if you're not even gonna [ __ ] put these clothes out in ruins I guess they're just trying to flex I don't know what it is but that's even more blatant if you're putting a noose on the neck of the hoodie and establishing that as part of your brands but you're not even gonna put the hoodie out is this [ __ ] really oh yeah they berry released a statement say what I don't think this year real I think this is an intimate joke a social media experiment from somebody who thought it should seem like it's too much of a coincidence it was it was a noose around the neck a tie and the white girl had the baby hairs laid somebody say um like you know we're we're sorry to everybody who's ever committed suicide but when we look at doose's we don't think suicide yes sorry when we look at mooses we think lynching black people hanging from trees in the south so I'm sorry suicide might be second you know what I'm saying but when we see it news we have a specific thing that we think of and it's not necessarily some an easier ways to commit suicide than making a noose like arts and crafts and [ __ ] like that you around there's so you could do about [ __ ] that's the The Ballad I would think every time I see somebody hanging myself from someplace it's about yeah yeah no one knows how to make a noose anymore things like that was back in the day yeah what if hang yourself at a Gucci belt that would be horrible [ __ ] branding I bet you I wouldn't want that problem or would you Gucci if Gucci Mane does go out through suicide no not Gucci Mane no but if he does nothing never happens that's the only way he could do it she loved herself too much say what yes Taylor oh it's oh it's real I don't give a [ __ ] I thought I can't I don't really don't care we heard the same apology it was inspired by a nautical theme with the foot like boats I don't know people still wear nautical yo remember FUBU right the best FUBU was for us by a for us by us yes it was a clear message who the brand was for and who the brand was by yeah this is Gucci's version of FUBU yeah baby's letting you know listen the only thing that they can do better is just put whites only yo daddy somebody need a racist yes far beyond that's hot but do you want a mother [ __ ] compete with Virgil [ __ ] off white give whites only whites always only brand clothing that [ __ ] would rip wow the bag of people KKK you got a whole Midwest to be like listen I don't have a problem with my shirt right now it says black by popular demand black by popular - maybe somebody came out with a clothing line called whites only it was [ __ ] right that's a risk Rhoda dice I bet you'd actually win like a [ __ ] what's up net white people love to wear Hanes and to be honest Michael Jordan did have a hit list why don't you know that was the most clever marketing plan in the world you get the story about this so go out there with the Hitler's - I read of so you can't calm races but then all the races look at it like woo hoo all they did was bring attention to the commercial that's what everybody doesn't realize what all of this stuff what is the Gucci blackface whether it's the black very news whatever the [ __ ] it is mm-hmm everybody runs to these people's websites as long as these things happen they run and they go Google Burberry and they Google Gucci they go to look at these images and you walk around and you get caught up on the website and see some [ __ ] that you like order on the loan people protest this new [ __ ] god damn yo this [ __ ] Burberry so either way did he win you know y'all understand what these people are doing you eight feels doing this [ __ ] to you right now with this fire to Neverland special what are they doing to find the neverland's Preston who comes out I think March mm-hmm they know that [ __ ] is unethical you know I'm saying they know these two guys sat on the [ __ ] stand and was under oath and said that Michael Jackson never did anything to them right I don't care it's about ratings it's about money I had an agent say to me verbatim right who is the next celebrity we can find to do a surviving art Kelly style documentary business they don't care like this is business it's about money this is about ratings this is about attention they're gonna put this in on ya everybody gonna tweet about it for two days you have to you have two types two people tweet nobody maybe three right one type is gonna be the people that's outraged that this [ __ ] is even on write it love Michael Jackson you know Michael that's got some diehard for data collect those plenty of times yes those people are gonna be upset that this [ __ ] is airing you're gonna have the other people who totally believe it oh I believe this [ __ ] the victim should have a right to speak yadda-yadda-yadda and then you will have the other [ __ ] who never knew anything about any it is and they're just gonna be like wow this is some crazy [ __ ] either way guess who wins yeah HB mano because they're getting eyes it all of these [ __ ] is to draw y'all in they are feeding off your [ __ ] outrage bro the network's these fashion houses they're taking the news approach if it bleeds it leads right fear-mongering like a [ __ ] zactly so Fox News CNN they're both doing the same thing they're just playing on different sides of fear and I guess HBO is looking at this story and they're like okay here's some money that can be made because there is value in nostalgia like these companies that don't stream these companies that don't stream need to make moments yeah if you stream you don't need a moment you know you'll go watch you on Netflix whenever you get to it you go watch the fire fresh stock on Netflix whenever you get to it one time for Andy the [ __ ] he shout - Andy you know man Charla Mandy no that's what they call Joshua got Andy by the way say again he's got a a adenosine who's that Joshua yeah who is Andy his name is Andy really and he said he's willing to suck dick to make the water he said that on air yes he did on air crews called [Laughter] listen but no they're all doing a defeat Navarro yes yes it nothing more nothing less talented thing yeah so so and this is something that we've complemented BT several times on this podcast it's like taking these stories from the past that we're intimately involved in and we want to relive like even when we went out and saw the biggie movie remember notorious it's like we didn't see it because you know we want to know what happened at the end we know what happened at the end yeah we want to relive this part of our lives and it's very hard to say that movie is trash even though because it's biggie but it's big it's like somebody handling you a pamphlet of Jesus in the street you never throw it away ham have you ever had those like $20 it's a fake $20 bill folded on the ground you open it up and it's like welcome to our church Oh God it wasn't that bad when you watch it on TV fair enough for theaters it's like an but if that I came on BT lights I don't like it I see what problem here's a question would the movie been as good if you couldn't hear any of the biggie songs mm nah cuz that's what brings me back to mythology right it's like a moment it's like and this is even with the FX - the OJ [ __ ] right we got caught up in the nostalgia if Alma network I understand that the ship is sinking but the way the you limit how fast you sink right now is just playoff nostalgia everything that I would put out would be short form events there would be six episode series 8 episode series and they would take events from the past if it was comedy I take a comedy event from the fast if it's drama I take a drama vent from the past and I just do them four times a year maybe eight times a year on on the network and that would be those would be my video I'm with you on that but that Michael Jackson [ __ ] is wack me I don't like that [ __ ] because it's like yo this these two people were under oath put it like this the same thing that probably made them lie under oath if they're lying if they exactly if they really did get touched by Michael and Michael paid them off and causing the lie on the off the same thing as causing it causing them the dude is special now they're all any baby you know what mula once you accept money that's what happened yeah yeah yeah once you accept once you make that settlement that's what happens you're choosing your place in history absolutely no accept money absolutely and then you go back and I mean that further Michael Jackson I mean that for the stormy Daniels I mean that for any but why wash it out why why should we believe you you just move you always compromise I paid you once to say one thing now somebody's paying you again to say another thing how do I know it's the truth my G how can I trust you yeah but how can I trust you I mean listen America is in shambles in a lot of ways but that right there if you're not they were under oh so what what are we supposed to believe in general I'm to someone in life and we're not believing if we're we're respecting the world of people who are under oath and saying one thing while they're under open it's saying it's not true 20 years later however long the [ __ ] it is what is there to believe in a matter of hundred percent and the only thing that makes me question that logic is people who let's say they you know there are certain this happens sometimes women say that someone you know rape them or whatever then they come out later in the minute all right I didn't that didn't happen right like was it I don't know exactly that Matilda story right it's a story she back out and she say that that didn't yeah she just said they're reasonably it's another story anyone a movie of about the bet the football player football players this Hajus playing um I came from his name if something would it be when he was a football player get a scholarship the USC I think would be really good like four years or something like that girl a young lady said she was raped by him I think he'd be like seven years in jail or something like that yeah came home and did a plan for the Atlanta Falcons but then later on the woman said that the Raven never happened never happened now at seven years of my life it wasn't he Brian banks banks so here's so here's the question it's like we want to believe that because it's truth but and and now we're kind of going against what we were just arguing before right but the difference I would say is this she didn't get a settlement to say that no I'm just talking about settlement if you go in and you testify and then you later come out and be like I lied I [ __ ] up that was wrong you have to free that as a man absolutely the oath under oath but if you go in and you settle right you say I accept money for this to be the truth you just got paid for your truth you just got paid for how history is gonna be yeah and that's how the [ __ ] is gonna be rotus it is great like you know we've we've we've threatened to impeach presidents because of potential perjury now we got two people who actually committed perjury and they get a [ __ ] HBO nah bro documentary no that's it is unethical mob are dangerous I'm saying this to be honest is bad for the brand I mean not really I think it's bad for HBO I get what you're saying but nobody's gonna care shows in its in a time right now where like brand you know what nobody go care why HBO could put that new sweater out and we know [ __ ] they wanted to do right now long they got they new season a game of throne April see what I'm saying why don't they do it I think my specials coming out of March yes in April you go get a lot of backlash and then call for boycott HBO and then when it comes I want to do a social experiment yo right before Game of Thrones come back to see if there's something we can do to make you would not like you might have the perfect thing yeah but what's happening with the show can we talk about that it's creative differences it's creative difference yes yes yes yes and you respect that you made the decision to settle with that and you will live with that I have no reason to be upset I mean I could be I could be upset about the missed opportunity but I'm the type of person like okay door closes another one opens I mean I know that sounds cliche but it's the truth nothing like some things I just it's just not meant for me I get was it supposed to be a interview special on HBO one a one-on-one interview with a different person every quarter yes it's not happening yeah I'm doing that same interview show somewhere else you know what I'm saying so maybe that's the right place where I could announce that now but I won't oh oh you've already signed on of come on this is me this is me I heard the first interview is with Takashi six nine no to do the one-on-one interview special somewhere else right and you know me and HBO's not doing the show go to creative differences but desk that's cool this happens there's no permanent friends and enemies when it comes to business I'm saying HBO not mad at him and you're still gonna do what you have to do I'm just saying like now except for when it comes into cos you six nine well we don't know about that yet no it's not happening he might come out looking like Gucci when Gucci got remember how good shake Gucci was in when he got out of jail not in [ __ ] his game but what if Takashi gets that body real Slim he gets them ABS out you know what I mean okay what okay come on bro listen speaking of premium cable cable okay listen a legal cable of think about it Bill Maher big deal John Oliver it's rock show Chris Rock show yeah Bill Simmons Showtime has never done a late-night show ever this is the first one so new episode of deeds tomorrow / hive the offer is available for new subscribers only in a expires March 14th so get on that man support the news to us mm tell you what I love d0 so much I mean number one do they - two great guys yeah my peoples yes but I remember being in poverty's office suits my guy Paul Richie and poverty is like yo you know D dis and marrow and like I think I've heard of Jesus marrow I'm not I'm not too sure I've heard that name somewhere and he was like oh these guys are hilarious and then Paul would break it on this whole troll that D this D where everybody thought Jesus was some why the spicy language like the n-word so it was just like it became this big thing and then he was like me I want to bring them in man he reminds me dear mommy like you and Duvall when y'all was younger and this and that and yada yada I'm like hey I remember him you know coming I think did they do the complex I think I had the complex chauffeur is it a complex cell and I remember their mom shopping interview but long story short they bought him in the MTV they had this little office in the back of MTV they put graffiti all over the [ __ ] walls always had this [ __ ] smell it like cush yeah and I'm saying like most things that come to MTV MTV didn't know what to do with them it's like let's grab them you know I'm saying at least we got the talent in how we don't you know you don't really know and it was doubt that was such a fun time at MTV MTV too because you had like Andrew Schultz walking around the building you know Zuri hall Aquafina Christus that's literally all the people that you see kind of succeeded yeah if there's what the MTV does well it's recognizes Talent whoa whoa whoa whoa okay go not MTV go Chris McCarthy Paul Richie Candido Ryan Lange Tiffany Williams Jessica Salkin yeah the raw cook I'm like Lauren since Lauren l-boogie yeah not gonna give everybody my give the whole network credit but those I didn't know anybody else worked there yeah those people are just named yeah yes very good people do very good after town and if you see the people doing things Oh Darren Darren Brody Blair of course d-block so it's like if you see people doing things in very diverse spaces right like if you see what 85 South shows Don Carlos Miller go being DC young fly yes right like they were on that man like they're [ __ ] killing it right now yes no reason they shouldn't be on somebody's TV well I think that they're doing it in the smartest way did I think they capitalized on that the YouTube world and their dude they're the future for me I see those guys as the new Kings of Comedy like when we saw Bernie and all those dudes come up that's what I see Carlos and these guys coming up in Chico but um obviously you do vol myself you know me like everybody in these different Pete Davidson like everybody in these different that are in completely different spaces right now I'll be very successful they may Fowler [ __ ] Jermaine yeah man you know our Kevin Barnett yeah man yeah I mean listen say what you want but that MTV MTV two-family cranked out some great talent the thing that you said which is very interesting is like at a certain point of time you have to realize that you recognize talent well but you don't curate it well yes and you've got it invest like if I'm I don't know if Paul Ritchie's still there but it up all go so whoever's there right now you gotta invest in talent behind the camera and you have to invest in guys that truly know what to do with talent and know how to curate shows because that's what's missing there and that's why guy called was such a great show because II was able to curate that Brian Lee alcohol was such a great show could you have carried that talent uncommon sense was a great show you had good people behind the cameras because I think it was flawed I think you were me you know my view and - not to show my show there was enough Charlemont I get it I get it but you know what it still was a great show that curated talents even though it wasn't enough me like well listen one thing about me that I can always say that's that sounded very nice system one thing about me I got so many different outlets yes you know I'm saying to express my self and express my talent for me to do in common sense every week and have different people on the panel and be throwing alleys and individuals and let Jesus and Merrill have their own segments which what ended up happening because they didn't know what to do with them so it's like okay we got uncommon stench let these Fumero do a segment every week I think of trash and yo my dream was to say yo let's have uncommon sense and they have decent marrow come on right after we do like the [ __ ] John Stewart Colbert [ __ ] yep that she didn't you know manifest it probably manifest some whales in the future but it didn't manifest you know at mtv2 and I pitched them a brilliant idiots block which would be your show and then my show following mmm and it would just be like and I said to him was like let's let it be the lost leader just let us do whatever we want let us [ __ ] [ __ ] up let people not really see it on TV that much but I guarantee virally we will explode not all of them got code actually right now God could God set the the network Yakko said the network oh you know but I mean we could have done that man yes I'm just listening I'm just happy for these Americans I saw the evolution yeah they left they left MTV - after doing uncommon sense for a couple seasons went device kilted advice you know saying now they on Showtime and every - every time they're in position I keep hearing the same thing a holiday not that funny oh it's not gonna work oh that's not gonna work the brand is strong [ __ ] there how many times is a person have to show you that they can win anywhere before you realise this is what they do they're winners you gotta show the haters infinitely the haters gonna hate bro they go hate regardless it's like you can't you can't dictate your career based on haters if you got enough people supporting you which DS this and Mero definitely do absolutely ride that [ __ ] I just hope Showtime lets them give it away on the internet cuz that's really their network I mean Arliss if these are merrill realize it or not their network is Twitter their network is YouTube well if you look on the UM I don't know if it's - I don't know if it's Adidas and Mero YouTube page or Showtime YouTube page and some it's a YouTube page I've been noticing they've been leaking the promos and [ __ ] okay I'm [ __ ] me getting like a million views that's half a million views on YouTube so that's where the people are it's very hard to take people from YouTube or the Internet to TV in terms of fans they don't go it doesn't matter how famous you are they do not go but it's easy to take peel from Internet to internet so if people [ __ ] with you on you - yeah they'll watch you again on YouTube and if Showtime is smart they'll do exactly what HBO does with John Oliver or Bill Maher but it all you put the whole [ __ ] up I'm watching smooth module Brendon County at Showtime great dude that was a great move bringing these tomorrow 11:00 p.m. tonight we will be watching on Showtime that wasn't long as that yo man we really had but it was a support bro all right um talking about settlements Charlemagne how do you feel about this cap situation I realized that I was looking at the situation all wrong up until [ __ ] up until last week I thought that the case was actually in a federal court but it's not a federal case it was a case that was presented through the CBA and I think that a lot of you is the collective bargaining agreement between the teams and the players yeah and I think a lot of us we looked at this situation as um a principal fight right like we created the narrative we created the narrative that it was a principal fight you know cap was trying to expose the NFL you know for being racist right no expose the prejudice in the NFL he was like okay all this [ __ ] is gonna come out we're gonna see that there was collusion he's owners talking [ __ ] back and forth like [ __ ] that [ __ ] with afro like that's what we all was expecting like that's what the boycott came from you know that's what we were standing on but truth to the matter is I think it was two things going on that we didn't realize yes it's a principal fight right but it also is a wrongful termination lawsuit like Colin Kaepernick was an employee where I felt like he was wrongfully terminated so if you're wrongfully terminated and you haven't worked in two years you have every right to go get your [ __ ] money from this company if you feel like this company did you wrong so on that note I don't think it's anything wrong with his settlement now I saw what Steven Naismith said and What did he say well he said basically that you know he feels like the terms of the settlement should be public because we need to see what's in here right you know I mean I think it's very harsh to call Colin Kaepernick a sellout because I don't think he was selling that selling out at all I think he told us from the beginning yo there blackballing me I want to play dare keeping me from making a living so therefore I'm going to [ __ ] sue these people and I'm gonna have me a wrongful termination lawsuit and he won so I don't know I mean I didn't win I mean he said with him he said but those are different things I mean I guess once again I don't know what he was I don't know what the win would be then the the win would be taking the case to court and then winning a decision proving that there was collusion against Colin Kaepernick and then wanting I mapping you gotta prove that no nothing was put the NFL wilds would they settle because sometimes is cheaper to keep her not for a billion-dollar company and I felt good getting could've exhausted Colin Kaepernick way before he exhaust them sure and that's a good and that's the other thing to it that's why and that's what made me realize it wasn't in federal court federal court it took like five to seven years so your argument which I think a lot of people are making mmm which is the NFL knew that they were gonna lose maybe I maybe they just wanted to be one of two things maybe they knew it was gonna lose because there was some evidence there or maybe they just wanted it to go away cheaper to keep her yeah maybe maybe it's like you know what let's get ready let's just get rid of it ask a guy hey yes right he should be playing you know I'm saying but we don't want him in the league or whatever in [ __ ] it is let's Pam now the interesting thing is gonna be this you know one of the reasons they said that Colin was getting signed was because he had this lawsuit against the NFL which kind of make any sense cuz they're agreed that the lawsuit do what he flavor for the Panthers but that was one of the things that they were saying he's got a lawsuit you got a lawsuit not if there's no lawsuit will the team actually pick him up or will there be retaliation now if there's retaliation and they keeping him out of the league just because again now you can go to court for real for real in a federal court with a whole different type of collusion case that's interesting so I mean it's just interest it's interesting all across the board but I really don't I don't know what I was expected to be honest with you I I don't know I don't know what I don't know what I was expecting I think that I was looking at it as a principled fight right and I thought Colin was really just trying to expose the NFL but that just lets me know I wasn't I was thinking about my narrative and not really you know right Colleen that's my people what Frank it's truth be told it was a wrongful termination lawsuit right so yeah my my feeling is I can't I can't say truly how I feel about it until I know the terms I think everything depends on the terms yeah right once we know the terms then we can decide whether Collin quote/unquote sold out or whether he did it ready to pay you for exactly and anytime you settle right means you're not getting what you wanted you're getting a little less when you settle a lawsuit let's say in a divorce court right your wife is entitled to half you're like I'll give you a third she's like okay I'll take the third she wanted half but she's good willing to take less in the settlement I think that when you settle somebody's not getting what they want both parties not really that's the whole idea of the settlement right it's like the the reason why you come to a decision outside a court right is because you're like well I don't want to give up what the court is gonna tell me to give up but most people just want money and I mean like you have lawyers right you'll have lawyers will take these pro bono cases right right they'll write these crazy demand letters to somebody right you get the demand letter you read it and you like what the [ __ ] so and they'll like okay let's settle with these my book so they don't really want justice you know I was a no-show a perfect example right it's like let's say you know you're suing me for a hundred million right and I don't want to give you any million until you get to the man letter that says Charlamagne said you forced him to suck his dick right right exactly you want this out do you want to sound the public knife right and have to give me a hundred sixty million so you wanted the hundred but you settled at 69 I wanted zero I want to give you zero but I'm settling with giving you 69 so I don't have to give you a hundred so in other words we both don't get exactly what we want yeah but I mean 69 it's so so for this type of case where there's so much you know nuance in it and we can try to separate the case from his protests but the reality of the matter is the case is a symptom of the protests and the case is a symptom of a larger problem in America which is somebody fighting for social justice and being blackballed at their profession because of it so it's very easy for us to go well these have nothing to do with each other but in fact they're directly related right so what I want to know is if we know they're directly related how much did you sacrifice how much of your principles did you sacrifice in that settlement and again maybe there'll just and that's why I said I can't make them I can't make a save until I hear the settlement but I'm just saying and don't get me wrong 60 or 80 million or whatever they're saying that he might have gotten that's a lot of money man and I don't think most people could turn that down that is a [ __ ] lot of money but I would take the money or I would take the money anyway not tell you why look at every every plate last you still kneel right you know saying not only kneel yo NFL y'all [ __ ] is talking to me giving me drug test I'll notice some [ __ ] y'all only doing is good to the stand I took right all the while I was still suing the NFL right just won the lawsuit would cap mmm and have the three year new deal with the pants when he said mine now he was still doing right yeah they're there so cap might get signed and still new that's when you know so that's so that was on I say next year we're gonna find out what the settlement was when we see if Eric continues to kneel yes and let's say we see cap get on team now I think the NFL wants a team to sign cap because if they sign cap and cap doesn't meal the settlement terms are somewhat disclosed maybe then the NFL can go he never cared about rights or anything like that he was bought out and we basically said 60 million will you dance what an have to say that that would be the narrator from the people that's what I'm saying that's what the NFL wants me is the NFL legally cannot say what happens but again it's way more effective to show than tell and the NFL wants to show hey we're a billion dollar company I bet you if we give that guy sixty million which is nothing to us we make billions of dollars a year but you'll be given sixty million dollars he'll stand up for that anthem that's gonna be the first question people ask if Eric doesn't kneel and Colin doesn't knew the first thing they're gonna say is why aren't you kneeling because you settled now if that's the case then again we cannot say anything until next year but if that's the case you can't put Colin in and I and I said this to calm when we were at your dinner I said - I said to him what's your what you're doing right now is walking through the fire I respect people who walk through the fire because there is immense power and support when you come out the other side it doesn't mean people will like you or dislike you say whatever you want about Olli he walked through that fire you goddamn right he did not settle he took three years in jail those are different [ __ ] things right you have a choice though yeah he did either go to either go fight uh [ __ ] you know faith the consequent exactly he could have gonna fight yeah Jeremy but he chose to not gonna fight he chose to stand up for what he was no matter how much money was on the line or anything right he gave it's a big deal that Colin took on an entity like the NFL BER I think it's a massive deal but be and again I don't know the terms of settlement the terms of the settlement could have been so [ __ ] Pro Colin that not only did he get paid he gets to keep Neil he gets to keep doing what everyone and then college the [ __ ] man but if and that's why I said I have no statement until we find out the terms of the settlement right because you really can't say if you want to know i'm not i'm not knocking nobody who's Nealon i don't give a [ __ ] about the Nealon and what is what i mean by that that's just a symbol yeah I'm saying the real change is happening in our communities which Colin has continued to do colin has been funding his no you're right scamp all of these past couple years with his own money right now you got some bands they're really really really but you could also want those bands by just playing the NFL and then funding them and standing up for the anthem you know somebody said to me about I love her Max Kellerman stated maybe wasn't math Kellerman said this he talked about Olli he said the thing that really made Ollie Ollie wasn't the fact that he just took a stand it was the fact that after those three years he came back and beat the [ __ ] out of George Foreman became heavyweight champion again that takes your yo-yo you let your legacy to a whole nother level a lot of us I guess I guess that's what we want to see right you want to see Colin come back I would love to say for its peaceful next thing you know he's in the mug book ensue book like that that's like whoa and you know who hates Roger Goodell you know Roger Goodell is the Commissioner of the NFL Robert Kraft who's another person that hates him ooh Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick mmm and you know who could potentially use a backup quarterback ooh now let's say the Patriots assign him right let's say the Patriots and they could absolutely do it go right back to the Super Bowl and win it Colin Kaepernick comes back into the league couple years removed from his blackballing yes and then wins a [ __ ] Super Bowl in a Robert Kraft has to hand him that trophy no Roger though Roger Goodell has to hand him that truck if the Patriots smart they do that and they play him the weight at UH the same you'll notice this he had his thing to play Drew Brees and their backup quarterback they put their backup quarterback in force snaps at certain times like it was just because he's a young guys he'll just I forgot I forgot the name of the system but that ability is brilliant he can find a way to Maine finally effective Robert Kraft running around here with Meek Mill [ __ ] chain on you know I'm saying Robert Kraft want to be down so goddamn bad I don't know why I don't know what black woman he got on the side that Meek Mill don't put him on a little filly John Robert Kraft [ __ ] on the side Taylor this [ __ ] ain't normal because Robert Kraft is a big ass Trump supporter Robert Kraft is like yeah he's he don't think that trumps is one thing that trumps Trump in America what's that the Louisville sports team all right yeah meaning if you'd like Trump Robert listen Brady is in there with the [ __ ] hat in the locker room yeah yeah [ __ ] robber crab is hanging out with Trump yeah [ __ ] is watching that Super Bowl that guy [ __ ] bad who can't Donald Trump act like they don't see that [ __ ] Tom Brady picture with the bag a hat flying across their [ __ ] timelines okay cuz he's that [ __ ] good yeah it's one thing that trumps Trump in America and that's your love of a sports team okay cuz I'll tell you what let the Dallas Cowboys win a Super Bowl and then Jerry Jones take a picture with Donald Trump I'm a question if the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl oh god will you suck Jerry Jones's dick never [ __ ] man never I don't have a problem we're having with the Kaepernick situation I don't know that's the thing like we don't anybody who has a problem with it is stupid because they don't know the terms once again to know you know what else well and I say this all the time the thing that hopes cap does he doesn't talk the thing that hurts cap he doesn't really talk we all assumed a lot of things we created a lot of narratives in our mind once again we thought it was a principled fight which it probably I'm sure it is but that principled fight led him to get blackballed which led him to file a suit against the NFL like you said it started with the social justice yeah and their reaction to the social justice so he got paid for that I'm not I can't be really too mad at that you know I'm saying but the thing is we haven't heard from cap exactly what it was we never have we created all of these narratives in our mind we were making all of these you know stands on behalf of Colin Kaepernick in in and you know they fueled it a lot when you you know salute Rihanna for not performing it to halftime of the Super Bowl stuff like that you know I mean like you they knew what they were doing and it worked I can't be mad at it and I think I know Colin well enough to know it's not gonna stop what he does it's not gonna stop feels he's gonna keep going to know you're right scam he's gonna still be out here fighting for us to wait that he does you know I'm saying like we can't look at him we can't look to him to fight like I'll leave fought I'll look to him to fight like uh I don't know who's activists like he's him he fights in his way right you know so I'm not mad at it I would not be huh I would not be surprised yeah I would not be surprised if it's if the settlement is not favorable to to cap and Eric Reid in terms of them having to stand for the anthem like if they have it was my neighbor who knows it's a lot of money man it's unconstitutional in a way because you're know it's a pretty it's a private company like you can say what you have to do but they remember they had the rule you couldn't kneel but then they dismissed it it was like you have to do was like yeah you're not nail texting us that a ban they banned it they was like yeah you can not kneel if you're out on this field you have to stand for the anthem or you got to stay in the locker room yeah but then they put that [ __ ] on hold yeah so I mean I don't I don't know I don't know I don't know what comes first the private institution of the Constitution I don't know I really know cuz like like like cycling somebody's right to protest is unconstitutional but I'd like I said I don't know what comes first the private institution are those terms in the Constitution I don't [ __ ] know I mean it probably should be the Constitution but you're allowed to I don't know it's tricky I think we'll get details of the settlement as time goes you know loose lips are out there for sure people will start to loose lips sink ships there we go loose lips suck dick what do you think it'll just be some election what what do you mean just in general there's even more of it I mean just just where everybody taking my hot take what's hot tea I said it on Instagram a while back but it like there's that I knew was fake because there's nobody who's racist homophobic and a trump supporter the watches Empire I think what we were saying on flavor to the Cavs was like I think Lee Daniel scripted it has better watch out because I don't know if you know that it not the face of domestic terrorism in America is now Nigeria okay your girl Ava Duvernay was is was why duverney Duvernay Wilin I don't think she was wiling chicago chester karol pd the same PD Police Department did covered up the murder of a qualm McDonald's then I she blocked me but I tweeted at her I was like yeah it's awful what it's awful what that Police Department did to cover up the murder of laQuan McDonald and the lawyer that helped them is disgusting you should check out the lawyer did Jessie's from lunch as hired well he quit - he could already oh yeah this is a tricky situation right because it's like yeah we know police are corrupt yeah we know homophobia exists yeah we know racism is real but sometimes people just like sometimes sometimes this has sometimes some things have nothing to do with none of those things all right sometimes people just lie my thing is the why always right the rumor is that the the hate mail that came to the Empire didn't get enough juice and I don't even make no sense to me I'm the k2 puck definitely didn't want to be I was a hell of a line bro definitely didn't wear even temple isn't very ran away from me cuz you paid them to run away from area unfuckin mania very underrated line - gay - pod thing was it yes man cuz if Tupac was gay imagine would I get around would sound like hold on are you Tony - [ __ ] wasn't gay - [ __ ] was far from gay really now you see those ballet I thought was a gay ambitious is a rider ambitious of a rider would have been a different record subak was gay my dick you fat [ __ ] [Music] No she might have thought it off totally different you know but I have to ask why I'm gonna give him the best-case scenario here as a person he wants attention and he justifies that warning of attention with promoting anti-trump rhetoric because he truly hates the administration okay so he's like how can I showcase how awful this administration is how can I show the world how truly awful the administration is and also get some attention and be the man which is Wow because there's a bunch of reasons that you can not like the Trump administration like you know like nobody's gonna care about another hate crime in Chicago I mean I don't think they would Mike my thing is a crazy how much we care about this crime when all the other people are getting shot in [ __ ] Chicago every weekend like this is there are people on the south side of Chicago that are going god I wish that was my weekend well that's because America's obsessed with celebrity I wish it's the same reason we have Donald Trump as president America is obsessed with celebrity and it's the same reason why I think people like Ava and our buddy van just went out so hard in support of him when this came out and it's not that I've given some thought into this you know what it is this is like when you know certain things about society to be true or feel them like you feel you experience racism when there's an example of it that happens to a celebrity and it's so blatant you get behind it because you're like finally people will believe me people will believe me into a famous person you'd also deeper than that they know this person sure in this case they actually I mean I know I'm too but yeah I told you we meant I'm in this conversation I chose not to have an opinion on right you don't have to have an opinion on everything that's true you know I'm saying because guess what sometimes you jump on Dan you got an opinion on things and you end up and [ __ ] like this happens I've been telling y'all this for some weeks now yeah it ain't even justice justice Millette situation it's a lot of [ __ ] people get outraged about and [ __ ] don't be in context it's like yo you don't have to have an opinion about everything we just sit back some time and way to be absolutely what's wrong with waiting to beat nothing wrong way to the memes still gonna be funny these jockeys roulette memes are still front he said our fire slap they slap in lap it has been three four weeks after the fact we don't have to rush to anything like listen I understand we all got content to create yes I understand we all got microphones we got things that we want to say right you don't have to do that with everything you don't stand I gave Jesse some let the benefit of the doubt because he's a black man right and he's a black man who said he experienced in a hate crime right therefore even though I didn't believe the story I had no reason to come on and say this [ __ ] is [ __ ] it's not affecting my world wasn't affecting the world in any way shape or form hey cool god bless them we'll see what happens so how it's a bigger issue but are you concerned at all that like you could be more gullible because of that and if you need ya know my [ __ ] detector works perfectly fine right when this [ __ ] first happened the first day what was I in the group chat saying it was [ __ ] exactly hey make me feel good listen as long as my [ __ ] detector works I don't need the world to know my [ __ ] detector works right no I'm saying like when there might be certain instances where you would like jump real quick to give somebody donkey today because it was maybe a white person did did something so white people like this morning I gave Tristan Thompson donkey today all know that [ __ ] true enough it's so good to resist right I didn't see the human the justice Millette [ __ ] right I saw a lot of it not if not initially I'll do it that should know that absolutely not it not initially you know I'm saying yeah now bro unbelievable you know racist you would have to be to walk around looking to fight a black dude and negative twenty degrees negative twenty degrees you're walking around looking for a black dude come on bro come on that's really hating somebody man I don't hate anybody that much bro I mean there's a lot of a lot of it sounded fishy in Chicago you know I'm saying I was asking my homies in Chicago is this stuff like this happening hate crimes happen or whatever listen but I'm not gonna hop on the guy almost say is I think that um we live in an attention economy yes and I think people realize it's a lot of currency and having n justices happening to you and I think that you know some people want to be stars some people want to be martyrs and I think when you look at the guys that we just talked about like Colin Kaepernick Colin Kaepernick in a lot of ways as a martyr you know I don't know martyrs don't get 60 80-minute million dollars martyrs die that's what the martyr does I'm literally martyred would you look at Muhammad Ali as a martyr no cuz he didn't die you got a died of your martyr yeah that's what makes you a martyr you're dead you got a died yeah well it's the definite definition of martyr come on martyrdom I don't think you got a die how much you want to put on it you sucks akashi's I'm a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs a person who voluntary stuff is definitely penalty a person who sacrifices something of great value and especially in life itself for the sake of principle or martyr to the cause of freedom so you can be a martyr who sacrifice something to great value no especially life itself yep you're not that we're not going to do that these the words mean something it's a reason 8py don't the words I say mean something they do but you know definitions read the Darcys [ __ ] are so sweet you just read the Farris - it's the definition of person who sacrifices so timeout you're smart Yeah right yes I hope so yes a person who sacrifices something of great value right and especially life itself what is life mean what is something of great value mean Andrew something of great value and read the first definition the one that you person to voluntary self is def is the penalty what you think - the second one is a person who sacrifices something of great value and read the second one that was the third the second one I got off a person who sacrificed you in a row that just said death what what you're using is you're using martyr not in its literal definition right I'm using the Webster's definition of martyr no no no okay right so like read it since you don't believe me well you just read it several times right a person who sacrifices something of great value martyr and ready martyr a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs that's one definition Andrew that is the definition so was it so definition that definition now you're looking up martyr where are we I don't know where the [ __ ] you live in Merriam dictionary that you scrolled over because you want to point to a narrative is that where is it where was it where was it I honestly don't know where you found the definition of our person is definition my person voluntary suffers death and the penalty of witnessing refusing renounce Alishan so Yuri and then the third one which is the one okay the third one but because I bring the term martyr for anybody other than the dead Parliament what what I'm trying to say is sometimes words and you know this for a fact sometimes words mean something and you know we say [ __ ] the definitions of the word right so the literal definition of the word right is death now people take words and they morph every day and they you know political right listening to me you love you love political right you send me political article or thought I don't love it but they are a what did the political article said no man that's not political but that was another one but listen was that was the political okay right right right okay right read the article what you talk about the article the reason I use that word because they say that about counting all the time and they said it about hourly right right right right we're just going off the definition in the world and then we can get out of here oh god I know it's frustrating what anyways it's frustrating if we don't want to learn you talking what you don't need hey hey hey for me Fox Sports Radio Colin Kapernick would rather be a martyr than play football sack be calm NFL made Kaepernick the quarterback into a martyr am greatest calm Colin Kaepernick football's Rich's martyr Politico to modern let me ask you a question does the word what is the word kill mean to you Andrew your own just what does the word kill not even going back and forth what does the word kill mean I mean you're not wrong but you're not right you're not looking at the word in his whole totality I'm right so so sometimes like the word kill means to kill somebody right yeah if I'm saying this I'm saying I go man this guy was so funny he was killing me what am i murdered no this is how you're using the word martyr you are morphing the definition of the word more political using it exactly the same way what it means how is am greatness you know what are using it like the Andrew because the word has different meanings you can be a martyr and not die no you can't but again you can't but it's fine so everybody it's okay it's fine fine all right they're offering the definition work just like you're killing I'm crying right now I'm not Lily cool Jeff is using I think justice Millette wanted to be a martyr mm-hmm because that's bigger than being a star and a lot of ways Meek Mill is a martyr to some because of his stance of what happened to him with the wheeling and all that stuff he becomes the face of prison reform I think that sometimes people want to be that as opposed to just being a star right and what I'm saying is you have to lose everything to be a martyr some people feel like Colin lost everything he and I'm saying by getting 80 million in lose anything I would love to lose everything of his 80 million so at one point Muhammad Ali was a martyr he lost everything three years couldn't box yep couldn't do nothing was actually broke yeah got it back yeah Wayne did Colin go broke I guess that's what I'm trying understand oh I don't know that's why I don't see him as a martyr because that because he didn't go broke but but that's fair I just think that's what just he wanted at the end of the day I think you wanted to be put on that pedestal looked at in that way did you see how diesel those guys were barri tribe yeah they look like two big Anthony jobs was Eddie Bichons was Nigerian by the way okay me personally I don't give a [ __ ] let me be honest with you like they [ __ ] don't only thing I care about is not weaponizing race not weaponizing homophobia not weaponizing real issues right for your personal game jesse is no different he's no different than a woman accusing a man of sexual assault when I'm and inception I think he committed a hate crime crime could you put other people in danger exactly yeah I think you committed a hate crime against magus reporters absolutely cuz how do we know that there are maggots Porter's and somebody was walking around like oh you're gonna do this to Jessie what we're gonna beat the [ __ ] out of you it happens listen it's dangerous that's all I can say I think that's it man well we have to we want to ask an idiot would after post roles we do that no but we got a we got to make sure that people turn their dreams into a reality man people will hit sending me pictures of Tristan Thompson and a black man no cheese shirt really yes is it really ultimately Photoshop he really wore black men don't you sure that's the official joint from Robin Lane it is I think Rob made that one first of all we made the men don't cheat sure before anybody and then I've got turned into gnome a black man no cheat actually you know Carlos Miller Carlos will have been saying that [ __ ] for at least two years we've had that shirt for four years what men don't you yes oh four years baby culturally-appropriate me bro I never seen you know me no I never saw you in a min don't cheat shirt until people started saying it on social media for years Andrew good we can ask our guy let me ask our habit for years boy he's a long time bro it's 2019 listen leave white people i say about a year year and a half at the most I'm asking right now it wasn't for years bro 2015 2015 is podcasters about I'm not gonna say what it was about okay maybe maybe not for maybe maybe not for a year and a half all right just do some ask an idiot before we get out of here Roman Macklin says what is the biggest challenge facing leaders today oh that's an easy one for me go biggest challenge facing leaders today is that people are not actually led by facts anymore they're led by feelings they're led by narratives and you know you have social media to where if you believe something you can put that something on social media and somebody will agree with you so therefore you always have your own tribe so therefore you think your logic in you know the way you believe in the way you think is absolutely positively correct it's hard to lead why would I follow you when I have my own tribe of people and we all follow each other so why would I follow you right and everything and every every everybody thinks they're a leader so being that you take mean that you think you're a leader you're not listening to nobody else right so that's that's what the biggest challenge I think is facing leaders today social media yeah yeah I think I think the biggest challenge for leaders today is not falling into the trap of identity mmm I think it I think often times we see leaders leaning on I look like this you look like this that means that we should agree on everything and I don't think that's really how things work I think that at least for me anytime I've tried to lead it's been based on ideas you know if you have the same hair color as me or skin tone as me great but I it doesn't mean that I should lead you it doesn't mean that we're part of the same tribe it just means that we happen to have those things because of millions of years of evolution and we ended up on this planet right if you really want to create a tribe it should be based on ideas you know I respect so there's religions that I respect so much because you know you look at Islam you look at your days and you look at all these things you look at Christianity it's like they've group people together based on these ideas or girls you think they're good or not but it's not about their skin color it's not about their you know the way their [ __ ] hands look at her feet look or anything like that it's about hey this is how we think the world can become a better place do you want to tap into these ideas you want to become part of me and I think that is the most impressive thing with with leadership is like when you can when you can get people to look beyond the easiest thing to connect on you know like if I see someone in prison and you're bringing different groups of people in the prison prison is so segregated but if you find a way to get the blacks and the whites and the the Muslims and all these people to kind of come together and figure something out together in the prison I'm like you [ __ ] lead bro and leaders have to really lead so I think it's hard to lead nowadays in this era of groupthink because some people don't stand on their ideas that's some people put something out there and then when they see the negative reaction to it the pushback to it they switch up that's that's one reason why I absolutely I don't reason why I respect what Ava did that's really being a free thinker because everybody in their mom has either done one or two things when it comes to justice Millette mm-hmm shut up oh okay you had all this energy a few weeks ago when they thought it was one narrative they realized you might be lying it like okay let's just all right let me shut up chick here my dear like nah nah it's a job in Chicago police's fault dad takes barn go today that is vol is that free-thinking though yeah you think that she's free of her narrative I think that she's imprisoned by her narrative and that's all why she can't leave it despite all the new information but she could say nothing you know you still stand on that she could say nothing she's consistent she's absolutely consistent but I wouldn't say she's free like for example there might be a parent who's doesn't believe in you know using certain medication or curial illness right and their kid is dying of this illness that there is a medication to cure the kid if the parent just goes well God is gonna help my kid out and then the kids end them ends up dying I don't know if that parent is a free thinker I think a free thinker would make that would make them go okay I'm gonna break free of this ideology that could potentially kill my kid and I'm gonna take in this new information well I'll save my child right I will say as an opinion I think it's one of those opinions to it it's always hard to have an opinion when you know everybody's going to disagree with you very hard and that's why it's hard to be a leader yes I put fresh ideas out there you gotta say things that people may not necessarily agree with but if you believe it you have to put it out there so if she truly believed that she had every right to and she's she's a witness said that in this moment in the right moment this based off all the evidence and everything like that right coming to the family like I'm gonna let this play out I already I already jumped out the window too much anyway yeah and you have tons of other evidence to prove that narrative of yours this doesn't have to prove it or disprove it like there's tons of evidence to show that Chicago PD has covered things up and has acted in ways that you know are incredibly unjust right you don't have to apply that to this story this story can be the anomaly with Chicago PD this story can be like hey man they did their due diligence and they found out that the kid was lying but they're that laQuan McDonald [ __ ] is still real that's the [ __ ] that's what pissed off everybody in Chicago what's that the fact that Chicago police can investigate crimes and fine if they want to they can figure this [ __ ] out yeah where's it I don't know high of like these kids in South Side that are getting shot up I have no idea I don't know how to [ __ ] me from the Nigerians that's a hell of a [ __ ] like just two big-ass Nigerians in Chicago that was a hell of a job to go actually find these guys I couldn't tell that [ __ ] by watching them two shadowy figures just yeah they show it I'm like okay because I was other thing that bugged me out I'm like so nobody else is on the street so so anybody that was on the street that time of morning gets picked up 2 a.m. 20 degrees below zero it's Chicago it's one of the biggest cities in America who am 20 degrees below zero like there's never a time in New York where people are not walking down the street to am 20 degrees below zero not that many people out 20 degrees below zero two a.m. yeah that's a little stupid that's a little dope bro get seamless some why the [ __ ] you walking out to go get that sandwich like uber eats something's going on something right cool et said why don't people anti protests that is why a shitload of stuff you don't like what if we found out God is really a black woman and Satan is actually a white man Shane I so well we know who's got more power God or Satan I'll tell you that much why don't people anti-protest hmm what does that mean he said by a shitload of stuff you don't like that this is kind of a stupid question coolly cuz you don't buy things that you don't like why would I invest my money in something that I don't like I never met never would be the goal what would happen I don't know what I'm saying like what what would be the reason for buying this now if you what you say about gucci is true that would pissed him the [ __ ] off yo if i'm the black community everybody dressing like lo pump real talk get all the fake gucci you can wear it non-stop just put out if ti-ti you really want to boycott gucci put at spend all the money on fake gucci give it to every single person you could possibly know flood instagram with it flood whatever the [ __ ] you think you can just flood it gucci Burberry all that [ __ ] I goo ga you probably always so much fake [ __ ] that we don't want y'all wearing y'all [ __ ] at all who is possible the coin collector says the last one what do you think the next shift in society is we're doing asking idiot what do you think the next shift in society is the next shift in society is people getting off of social media that is the next shift in society people getting off social media people disconnecting from the internet to reconnect with themselves this [ __ ] is ruining us I don't give a [ __ ] you are lying to yourself if you tell me that your a day is not different when you don't [ __ ] with social media you're lying to yourself if you tell me that if you input you if you put your phone down for a few days it's like your brain is repairing itself in a way it's interesting like you find yourself like yo I want you to rely on try to really be intentional in cognitive when you get on social media yeah and you'll find yourself checking yourself like why the [ __ ] my back on this [ __ ] yeah like it's just like a habit like you just pick it up you're gonna look for what what do you look what are you looking for what's on Twitter what's on Instagram what's on Facebook what is there that you just have to see what do people do when they wake up in the morning you know when they're addicted to cigarettes right what is the first thing they'd already [ __ ] say right now what do you do first thing in the morning not you but everybody listening right now Moltisanti gratifying you grab your phone yeah you get that nicotine you take some drags I take some swipes see what [ __ ] like I do it I'm guilty of it I look through all my [ __ ] you know no I don't smoke nut oh my god so but yes it is a real addiction that'd be really interesting to see what happens like I'm telling you the next ship is people getting off social media everybody needs to go out there and buy a book called digital minimalism yeah it's about it's about refocusing in a noisy world we got to get back to treating our phones like the tools that they are and stop acting like there are another part of our [ __ ] bodies we're not what about this and this that this app may have already been invented but I would love this app an app that locks you out of certain apps they do have this I forgot the name of it but it locks you out after you can put his timing lot of time around I would love that yeah give me an hour a day obviously there's certain things I want to access I want to access text messages I want to access email right phone but outside of that everything else is indulge at your screen time I do that's that yo sad I didn't even know I'm getting messages lately your screen time is down 20% this week yeah it's not 30% this week Wow [ __ ] like that but you yo give you notices of when you're not you gotta send that to people when they're upset you don't respond to text yeah I'm not on my phone yeah I'm down 30% this we have the truth though no it was your 30 but all jokes aside is the truth like it's mad people I don't be texting back right I'll be missing phone calls now because I just be I'd be away from my phone yeah I don't keep that [ __ ] on me I I think I need the lock though maybe there's other people the two two just need the lock and then you in a weird way you might take advantage of that time differently like instead of just staying there and aimlessly scrolling read a [ __ ] book no no no no no III mean you take advantage of the hour that you give yourself on social right so instead of just like meaninglessly scrolling on your Instagram what should be is like you'll go is okay I have an hour today where I can promote the different things that I'm gonna do where I can actually give the Internet this stuff instead of just an hour where I'm looking Oh who's commenting what are they saying etc so you're actually spending that time giving the world things instead of taking yeah I need that app you can be more creative man yo digital minute minimalism the book it talks about how they have these little books that are shaped like phones okay whenever you feel the urge to reach for your phone ah for this little book you just read a little something you keep a little pad on you have shaped like a phone you pull it out you can write something like I'm telling you you'll be more creative this [ __ ] is not making us more creative man it's actually taking our creativity funny I started I started doing [ __ ] on a pad like for writing bits because I would always just write ideas in my phone but then once you're on the phone it's like oh Twitter's right now word is right right the Instagram right there boom but if I have the pad I'm actually writing and you know what's [ __ ] up about the phone compared to a cigarette is every time you take a drag of a cigarette you get the Nick teen you wanted every time you take a drag of your social media you don't always get the amount of likes you wanted on a pick the amount of views you wanted on a video the the response to someone you reached out for so it's like imagine smoking a cigarette and sometimes you got nicotine and then other times you just got tar you know like oh you just got so you don't feel like [ __ ] cigarettes is just oral fixation is you let you just like having something in your mouth right yeah did you start smoking recently got about 47 years no real talk man that's true my mom quit smoking by just doing fake dragging on a cigarette this a long time dragging so she wouldn't light it she just go if there's oral fixation yeah that's true but there is a nicotine or just time to well she has an oral fixation oh really that's right now for cigarettes what is it for what is it for you like having something in your mouth you like blowing the smoke yes it's really relaxing yeah and maybe you're fidgety - really oh it's lit all right listen as always if you listen to this podcast you think
