Boyfriend makeup tutorial

hey guys as you can tell by the title of the video today Cody will be doing my makeup he went through all my stuff and he doesn't like the makeup I have so we are going to CVS so he can pick out what he thinks the right makeup right stuff you have any right stuff alright so we're gonna get the right stuff and then Cody is gonna be doing my makeup so as you guys probably know there's paint five main layers of makeup there's the foundation there's contour blush on top of ass mascara eye shadow five main letters right there so we're gonna go for a spring look at that red you like it look like a light green like a foliage type inspired look okay so is this what is this concealer concealer 16 i know otherwise I'm just testing you this is what I see this stuff right here this is good what is this this would be a good starter right because this is the beige little abbreviated there foundation use that if you want okay because it's kind of liquid true actually I didn't think about it that way okay it's no kind of now we're gonna go for the old contour where is the contour is that a makeup products or is that a concept I actually have no idea this is what the contours for is contouring now business see this is what this is a kind of forest color scheme we're going for here okay what even is yeah I shadow okay so this is what we need no eyeliner this is usually something I also don't do but for today like I said this isn't part of the five main layers um so one last thing see what this will be we're gonna kind of stick to the forest look right but this will be the Sun I think we're good okay I think you got some really good stuff here it's gonna turn you into alright know what's up so we just got back from CVS where you saw Cody and I pick out some stuff is mainly Cody since he knows what he's talking about a lot more than I do yeah we picked up the essentials and so now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna turn you into sort of like poison ivy type okay character as I said so that's a look I'm going for okay great people usually start with the foundation right that's why it's called foundation but me what I like to do is flip the game on its head that's why I'm so respected in the makeup world because I like to do the from the top down so I'm going to I'm going to end with foundation okay we're gonna start with the eye shadow okay another way yeah I know as I said before just as you can see here we're gonna go we're gonna start with this nice green eye shadow here I'm gonna use what I'm gonna do here the technique I'm going to use I'm gonna use this on the bottom and then we're gonna go this green on the top it's very important with eye shadow not a lot of people know this but you're supposed to actually do the bottom as well let's say you get that's how you accentuate those bags now what you have up which you have none which you have none yeah really get that look right there you know what I'm just gonna go over the nose - mm-hm that looks really really good see oh I love see that it makes it brightens up the whole face exactly this makes the eyes pop yeah so we're gonna get a little bit of the green now on top or you know darker you might be putting - closing your eyes are there we go a nice smoky green you know do you do the top of the eyelid - trick question already no yes you do of this color a little bit lighter this is more of a gold and we're gonna do this just on the outsides right it's almost like a branch it's coming out from your eye yeah that's beautiful yeah yeah you kind of look like a hot raccoon next up I'm actually gonna do a little eyeliner on top of what I just did right is that hard it's kind of scared about what happened the tip just totally came off okay this isn't as fine point as I'd like normally I'm doing this sort of thing how is it it looks really good it's pretty bold take a look it came out girls are [ __ ] doing with a crayon instead we're gonna we're gonna like soften it up a little bit so that being said let's go ahead and let's do the foundation and then let's do the contour okay I like to hop down and then level up hop down level up that's kind of my whole makeup theory really layer this on here pretty thank you pop ready put a little bit too much on there but that's fine well spread it around yeah we're good we got kind of a guy [ __ ] look going on see but this is what this is this is why we make you a little bit pale mm-hmm so that when I do the contouring this is the technique here here you can see the contouring there this is technique with the brush dust it on like you're chalking a pool cue right just like that oh okay see we're contouring you want to get that the peaks here and you want to hit the valleys with it with the highlight got killed that actually tell you also is that a popular player or not not a popular place but a little known fact about contouring so you can actually do the forehead as well right little more on the head yeah that's good so you know what I'm gonna do I'm gonna balance it with the highlight now okay see this is the high way you want to do the side of the brush all right from being a little bit brute brutal here but pain is beauty you know looks really really good oh it's amazing but next up we're gonna go with the lipstick this is kind of like a salsa color why don't you don't it you know use a ton but you want to use jess enough where you get that look where it's almost like people look at you and go do you have a lipstick on you don't love that check it out pretty minimal oh yeah it's like the natural I love the natural look yeah just like you do the eyes people don't know that this is actually extends beyond eyeliner lip liner as well let's get this on here yeah now we're just gonna give you a little mustache Oh mother kind of started with the tree look but now we're gonna go more full say we're like a Paris look here I really need you just sit still okay it's not an easy task getting that nice curve [Music] yeah there it is yep that's great here we have a final product ladies and gentlemen that's amazing thank you thank you yeah no worries so now you can you know feel free hit a you know French bistro or anything you feel comfortable anywhere basically you can you can use this look you can take it out just getting groceries or whatever or like I said you go to like a burlesque show or something you can do that as well so this is Cody's final look mm-hmm um well you don't like it I think I could just do a better job do you think you could do a better job yeah I could probably do a better job all right fine well then you did okay fine uh I'm gonna get myself a fresh and then I will show you how to do the makeup deal deal point I'll get out of here then I'll leave you know I get one last look so Cody had to leave but I am gonna show you guys how I actually do my makeup every day um yeah whoa let's get started I like to just work from the top up top all the way down my face yeah first thing we're gonna do so first thing we're gonna do is use the foundation right there there it is and then we're gonna just and then I just like to kind of just get an even coverage all over my face just my face so I like to do it like to get my eyes very much yeah love getting the forehead and love getting all of that oh you know what maybe just more of my faces I like yeah not really my neck let me switch hands oh there we go mm-hmm I love the feeling of just getting it evenly distributed my nose is a good spot okay um so my face is all powdered up and now we're going to move on to the contour and the highlight so gonna grab that right there yep and then there's the brush nope that nope oh Kelsey you silly girl over here just on the table it's all right sometimes I just get so flustered I'm gonna just take other side oh I got those too confused a lot just I mean I like to mix up the highlight and the contour and just kind of smear them both all over my on my cheese right there okay that's enough for one cheek I'm gonna say whoa just challenging myself like that hmm and then and then just one more stroke and then just stroke it out it gets on your chin if you're feeling adventurous and then a little bit on your neck um the foreheads a secret spot I as well what to do there's that oh now I like to move on to the eye shadow so just straight ahead and down and I'm just gonna put that on on my eye lid actually it's very I'm gonna put it either side I like to use my left hand for this side gotta get that eyelid I always miss it somehow the middle of the eyebrows sometimes I accidentally get a low eyeshadow but I think it gives me kind of like a natural look like I don't I don't pluck my unibrow okay now this is fun we gotta just assume you're gonna go under my eye good and then I round tip you just do a couple circles around and then you can also get your cheek a little bit just to highlight your contour yeah so there is the island are super simple you know just one circle around it's the eye and then I'm gonna open it Oh open it up I have to make sure that it's out first I have to untwist it up yeah always well yeah right there it's probably good and then you just take you just uh-huh you get it on your what will you do the bottom line right there and then I love to just kind of let my hand do the work here and just flick it on and just flick it on you know what I mean ladies that's the kind of tempo you want to be doing things that you don't want a heavy hand you want to just flick flick flick and look at it it's natural it's fun it's flirty here's the final product [Music] it you guys oh do you like it let me guess so I hope you guys like the final product that I comment down below if you like mine or Cody's better
