Lola [Applause] [Music] oh listen I'm going to be quick in Luke chapter 5 and verse 17 it says there and it came to pass on a certain day as he was teaching that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by which will come out of every town of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem this is a part I want you to get and the power of the Lord was present to heal them you have turn to somebody and tell them the power of the Lord is present to heal and to deliver you I only want to take a few minutes to let you know that when the power and presence of God is in the midst of his people too many times those of us with needs so many of us that have problems and situations that we've been praying about and asking God to deliver us from we fail to seize the moment we think that the presence of God comes in just to make us feel good and because we feel good we clap our hands will go forth in the dance will physically demonstrate that we are feeling good but you've got to know that God does not send his present and send his power just to make you react in an emotional way [Applause] when the presence of God is in the midst of his people he comes to answer our prayers he fills the room with a healing medicine that if you will learn how through faith to apply it and take advantage of it you only hear like you came you'll go home another way but you can get up and physically emotionally respond to the presence of God and if that's all you want to get out of it you can say I got me a good dance accept me a good step I shouted I praise the Lord yesterday but honey let me tell you something when God sends his presence it's his way of saying I heard when you praise the other evening I know what you have been going through and I have come in order that you might be delivered now you go back and you read there in the book of 2nd chronicles back and don't do it now but later read started with maybe chapter 5 and read through verse chapter 6 and chapter 7 this is the time when Solomon is building the temple David the father of Solomon had the desire in his heart to build God a house felt it now that Israel was no longer in the wilderness and and a migratory people of that left Egypt and 40 years traveling in the wilderness and around here and bass trying to get through the promised land and that day they had a tent called the tent of meeting of the tabernacle of the congregation now they've settled in the land of Canaan and David desire was to build God a house but God wouldn't let him do it but he did amass the wealth with which Solomon would build the temple and when Solomon built the temple he goes in and prays a dedicatory 'el prayer knowing how God's people have attendances no matter what the Lord would do to time to forget to go back to idolatry to backslide to do things that would cause them to be carried into a strange land and he prayed to the Lord to let the temple be dedicated and if this people would come to the temple no matter what they were going through and if they would get to this place and all for prayer Lord hear our prayer but if they sin and if they are carried into a strange land and cannot get to this physical location if they will look in this direction I want to know Lord will you hear that prayer and when he had finished praying the Shekinah cloud of God's glory fill the house and it was a thick smoke to the effect that the priests were unable to minister to the people and the Lord comes to Solomon's Palace that night shook his pillar and woke him up and said hey Solomon I heard your prayer and I want you to know that here is your answer that if I shut up heaven that there be no rain if I command the locals to divide the land if I send pestilence among my people if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will for kill the sin and heal the land my eyes will be upon the prayers that are made in this house my eyes will be upon this house perpetually in other words Solomon I have come to give you your answer when the cloud smoke filled the temple following the prayer I came in but the glory was great and you left so I'm giving you the answer now and I want you to know that I will do just what you said the house wasn't filled with smoke just to be doing something God said I came to bring you your answer and don't you know when you get through moaning and groaning oh how they treated you're on the job how how they treated you in the classroom how your relatives treated you even at the family reunion how that spouse who doesn't know Jesus and don't even want to support the children how the children are disobedient and you're just pulling your house and sometimes putting your head against the wall and look like everything has gone wrong and the walls are closing in on you I want you to know that when my glory fills a simple this is just tummy in to make you dance didn't just come in to make you run a few steps down the aisle but I came to heal you to pack up your broken heart I came to show you that I am the way out of your dilemma touch
