Americans Try Weird Irish Food for the First Time

oh honey Oh hear the one about the American late that Irish food I didn't what are you about to today we are going to be trying Irish food we were sent a crack now that allow this crack means fun soon as the other one in this crack pack we have a huge assortment of sweets and treats and movies from good ol Ireland I like I personally have always wanted to go to Ireland I think me dope and like I'm a fan of pots of gold but I was gonna reference William Wallace but I think he's Scottish oh don't you dare mix those up dude boy we will start World War three although do you know that what they call chips or fries it's like the British don't know we jump into this path guys I gotta be real with you we were sent a list of things not to say things that annoy Irish people that you might want to avoid number one the British and being associated with UK at all the Irish language is just called Irish not Gaelic I thought they spoke English well what does Irish smoothly I have no idea why did you realize now I'm one stereotypical Irish accent Oh Lucky Charms mascot and also a lot of each other leprechauns four-leaf clovers are also not an Irish thing oh come on and then the last thing and did you know this I knew this it's not st. Patty's Day but it's st. and onion okay he suggests eating potatoes and using the keen crisp on the sandwich that you're making a second you may not get them put chips on a sandwich did you do that normal thank you best way to do it you have an extra crunch yes Ireland is the place great yes and so just eat potato by itself that tastes like how I imagined Ireland is I don't know how that makes sense that's wonderful jeez not even good oh yeah this is me did you do cuz you should a crisp sandwich it's a big one that's very Irish you take two slices of Brennan's white bread put butter on both slices empty a packet of cheese and onion crisps in between them and smush the sandwich and flatten it so that the crisps don't fall out for first-timers it's surprisingly good this country is getting better and better moment of truth dude smash it yes okay that's some Brazilian bread break the chips now supposed to do that is a much better way to eat chips I don't think I added enough butter put more on top that really starts to settle in and make like a cozy home feel the warmth oh yeah yeah the butter really really makes it good so this next one is berries tea and tea from County Cork usually milk everyone loves their tea here the Cadbury purple snack and Jacobs Club milk their chocolate covered biscuits you would have with your tea and there's a debate as to which one is better so you guys can decide hey Jerome the chocolate biscuits mmm let's try this that's pretty good okay Oh is he yummy I'm gonna smell this I don't drink tea I don't like the smell of it either oh I won't come out shakes sure just take another bite actually with no I'll start with this one don't eat the whole thing okay mmm Indian poker right now go mine's better than yours guaranteed I'll take that back cuz I'm pretty sure I would win really yes I know that we have never heard of this brand but I can assure this is incredible tried and true Cadbury first not imagining it no man Lucius they're gonna get so mad cuz it's not even half Barry its Cadbury no it's Cadbury oh yeah well let us know where you stand K all of you have had this are you are you team Jacobs or Tim Cadbury this is incredible the chocolate honestly I think the chocolate is better in it all of you who think Cadbury is better way wrong next is Jacobs chocolate Kimberly's jegos Kimberly biscuits are ginger flavored biscuits they're chocolate-covered versions of that oh I'm so excited there's more Jacob what's in the middle I already know I'm gonna like it Jacob wherever you are wherever you are you make a darn good piece of chocolate mmm oh it's soft stop marshmallow in the middle where has this been my oh my life in Ireland oh I need to go to Ireland just put some Moon Pie to shame oh yeah does who in their right mind would argue that Cadbury is better he says try it with ham and cheese sandwich ooh ham a jolly mood belly Malou that doesn't look like relish looks like cat salut mmm-hmm what's that flavor we met every and buying ghrelin that sounds that's German well it's relish in this moment put it unhappy that's where it's at mm-hmm I'm quickly finding out that everything that you do two things in Ireland you need to apply mm-hmm heavily we're thattaboy flavors at mmm I don't like listening to you Oh a spice bag spice next thing is McDonald's spice bag mix Oh McDonald's is that McDonald deny hey are they Bryce the popular dish that you get from a takeaway after a night of heavy drinking either while drunk or hungover so this is a dish that the Chinese takeaways and Ireland invented I assumed that it was to bring together Chinese and Irish tastes it's a mixture of chips or french fries chili peppers garlic onions and chicken fried up and served in a brown paper bag it's it's just in a bag I'm just like blown away this is amazing holy cow just a bag of delicious chicken nuggets it's gone first onions Wow my bar I'm so badly want to eat this after a night of drinking I have to stop mmm I have to do I I mean we've had some pretty good taste tests so far but Ireland is becoming the one to beat so this next item is McDonald's original curry sauce and what he suggested making is a green one a three and one is a strange combination I guess Irish foods are all just cards but this one is don't yet all of it fried rice and curry sauce don't knock it till you try it just like the Christmas sandwich the combination somehow works oh my gosh okay this looks amazing and it smells so yeah it does get it fresh delicious is that Korea so today that's my kind of curry that's spicy just the right amount of spice yeah not very unique on its own as baked beans exist everywhere but this brand in particular is iconic to Irish people okay also a key ingredient to a full Irish Breakfast but we don't have access to that so you can just get these layers a full Irish Breakfast consists of a big plate of Irish bacon sausages black pudding white pudding Batchelor beans eggs mushrooms and fried tomatoes all of that sounds horrendous I don't know not all of it what part of a say said bacon you still look like normal like baked beans mmm yeah they're good for a little bit next is McVitie's chocolate Hobnobs he says he's since found out that these are actually made in the UK who I mean they are probably the best biscuit that exists in his opinion and betrayal I forget that they call cookies biscuits Oh do they have cookies then like that are called cookies don't get too technical maybe cookies is to them what HobNob is done McVitie's give me cavities I might think they have it can make the virus of some wars the ultimate Irish American treat please tell me you guys do this of Dairy Milk Cadbury in the States is owned by Hershey so any cover you lined their tastes different this is real Cadbury's your favorite they got Oreo they got whole nut Oh caramel Oh golden crisp don't forget that mint Chris milk chocolate and Tiffin Tiffin how about some caramel a fruit nut and if you feel I got a foreign we got that Turkish all right let's open all these up figure out which one we like Nigeria we're gonna taste each one and then the next one we taste we're gonna decide if it's better than the one we just tasted all righty then all right we have now tasted all these labeled from worst to best yes Turkish the target is terrible hunting it keeps chasing us down the Tiffin fruit and nut sight that's why milk chocolate okay okay okay okay next up we have the golden crisp clever look at leas resealing so nice mint crisp Oreo Oreo was whole nut oh really that was pretty good caramel oh and caramel that's how it ended up that's how the chocolate crumbles this next item is called a flake it's a flaky type of chocolate oh and you can use it to make what they call the 99 the 99 all right so definitely don't look at the expiration date yeah we tried it almost a 30 year old drink the other day and that's true it's fine you haven't seen also sealed discontinued soda
