Americans Try Weird British Food for the First Time

filled of items but our friend Paul being from there he's like wait wait mmm-hmm you don't have this this is this if you filled in the gaps and I'm excited yeah to try them out that's not what T looks the sweat of Arnold Schwarzenegger we've had our property we've got our own brew now for our first plate I want food it'll be good fish and chips oh who is this gravy that's the curry sauce you get rid chill Steve you chips in that what is this actually mushy peas mushy peas looks like gravy fish with a lot of vinegar is really good don't smell it it smells horrendous oh okay we're gonna do the bees here he goes with a spoon or a fork okay say hey look we got Forks this looks like baby food mm-hmm there's bees the texture was kind of different peas we didn't I expected the worst that actually is really a pleasantly surprised here okay what are these these look like a sausage what oh yeah oh wow oh this needs to be on like a breakfast plate all across America HMS delicious over here well done by the way if you don't know hms stands for Her Majesty's service okay those mushy peas don't look this good way to this restaurant and store Helen says that mushy peas are typically served with fines or mean things towards that don't go together meat and one oh that one's more of a mashed potato honestly I prefer the can what if we combined them now you're just getting crazy is this really it mind your P's and Q's from mind your P's and peas is that that's what this is you know for speaking English to make some weird words over there what very soft cheesy oh yeah I mean like and I gotta like disintegrate back my watts it's our meltingly tasty see you talking mouthing mix-ups mix-ups we got pressure oven Doritos waltzes and monster munch monster munch is it just because it's shaped like that cute little monster ball thing and is there a monster there like me like smooth fluid dorita what is this Ellen says that the Doritos are her personal favorite what what Helen somebody lies to you because that's how what a Dorito tastes like not bad though no I'm Anna they're not bad but they're not like full of flavor it's just I'm ready you know we're not show flavor this is this spicy flavored bag it's not a spicy but it's not spicy at all not back what's your favorite me yes I was a big fan of auxes myself okay Watson's are great I have some sois nice is this a pot of noodle hot noodle pocket Helen says they're popular with teenagers and anyone looking for a quick lunch so so these look just like cup of noodles they do but I will give you this your container like much like not styrofoam the in styrofoam pisses me off matters the weird like texture when you see one it just doesn't disintegrate so just going into garbage dumps not going anywhere noodles salty spicy tasty try different pot noodle flavor try a different pot noodle flavor and tell us what you think so you threw me off because they spell flavor wrong and put an extra letter in there contain yourself ma'am no what are you doing that's great love it it's got corn in it I love corn nuggets of course shortbread and these you dunk in your yeah but you know tea I need it yeah Helen says they're best served with a cup of English breakfast tea the tea should include a splash of milk and she also says it's a biscuit made in Scotland I kind of thought that from the design choice of the package that design is called tartan tartan tartan sounds like something you do and you just walking down the street act like a fruit your tartan around is they were tall Brad I think this is a valid question I think it's cuz they are shortening to it but I don't know oh I've got a scientist I do like it better in the teeth cuz it makes it like a bonus softer yeah yeah consistency but these shortbread cookies you get around Christmas time finish that's what this crunchy no yeah oh you're gonna do the candy stuff with sweets that's sweet Paul said we had to get one of these why is that it's like a tiny beehive get that Friday feeling with crunchy Oh golden honeycomb wrapped in Cadbury chocolate do then that berry runs this world that's good holy what's up quick what's the word in British link brilliant that's brilliant like an airy Butterfinger yes with a lighter taste more towards the heath yes that's what I'm saying with the toffee yeah but it doesn't get stuck in your teeth again no genius you know I get it this stuff is disgusting alright we're switching gears trying some Marmite now Marmite let me try it before you tell me what it is I like that we're gonna put it on an English muffin question are they actually English what wake up your taste buds put the oomph in your breakfast all right all I'm saying is this looks like Nutella spread that caramel this is gonna be a breeze Lexton you go first alright good okay are you kidding me it's very salty let it hit how are you enjoying are you hahaha weird alright there you go you either love it or you hate it okay next item two eaglets Helen says they're very much like Marmite you'll either love it or he knows there's two ways to eat them like all the flavor off and then eat it or just go straight for it that looks like a baguette just sticks wait Missy oh my gosh little tiny bag of sticks it's great they round up cardboard nobert carplay tastes like I can smell burnt cardboard this tastes how it's smell alright next on the list we have these sour patch kids now here in the US we actually do have them however there's a different flavor Chucho mouse i think black one yeah they're just a little more done person yeah Paul tell us what it is they're black currant is like it's a small dark berry oh so it should be good black currant and Helen says she tends to find the black ones the most sour these look bigger and badder and are bigger the sugar crystals on them are huge you saw that kids off Finnick that's my happy dance love sour candy that is so good all of them are different flavors you tried - wow that is good okay they made you folks that looks suspect see this spotted dick sponge this is real life people this is not a joke but for real what a spotted dick I don't know any of what from the you know comes from is not cake traditional modest lightly spiced steamed pudding with salt Thomas yeah baby this isn't as bad as I thought I was gonna be we just realized for a second that we completely jumped over the fact that this cake came out of a can totally did it's got the can marks on the top of the cake nothing says fancy like Ken markings on a cake you have a date over its Papa can babe Papa can a spotted dick that's how you set the mood over there in England this is made by Cadbury it's a dairy milk caramel Karen how does it caramel apartment caramel caramel yeah but he spells color and favorite mother you mean incorrectly hobo not what I thought I was gonna make not at all she's shaking her head like she knows like she's easy oh no she doesn't know like you know girl you don't know it's like a softer it's not the hard caramel yeah right and it's not the runny caramel but psyche in between yeah I couldn't even tell that was caramel I still love Ronnie caramel I got it don't they kind of like getting between my teeth and then they take away the ripple they're like make my cavities hurt completely should go see the dentist like do you ever he'll like and maybe not my cavities but you know the roots in your teeth no your teeth are like dying and there's chunks missing yeah that thing I just wanna point out real quick you can't see him but a friend paw the British one I'm using air quotes peep is British he is dressed more patriotically than either of us right now he's wearing a Shelby American hoodie yeah and he's got an American flag on his hat he was in the military and he's wear Nike Air Force but he did grow up in England and he says some of you might give him hate because his accent has kind of gone to an American what accent sound British to me oh no I don't and we'll shout out he does have a podcast called what did the bright side of the Indian Beauty slowly get down below you have to go check it what's the punchline what is this it looks liquorice allsorts it almost looks like sushi Oh cute Helen says it's a range of liquorice sweets her favourites are the orange ones she says like no Kim has been a fan of liquorice but you should try the ring once the only one of the entire package you get to try you can have a pink one Mahmoud end up in British style Cheers opt out dude it's not bad it tastes like nausea was right about the orange ones oh now it was good that orange ones tasty this looks like a giant turd looks like a yummy turn arrow oh sorry today are Oh bro arrows delicious so we have these in our Canadian pack care package Joe however a lot of you guys photos will be a Tim rocks and this time we're gonna eat them correct wait but there's a way to eat it yes you just let it dissolve on your tongue what summers morning kids are waking up to a bowl of goodbyes I can't wait long it still tastes like chocolate like yeah yeah yes I know longing the experience exactly and I prefer just eating it because I don't have the patience to let the cinema tongue free cinema tickets on Sundays alright last thing y'all go is here we have these rebels Helen says it's a mixture of sweets including coffee and orange yes so fun Paul was telling us go ahead Paul Thomas so you don't know which one which and the coffee one is whoops I have grease I haven't tasted it'll hit you like a truck and ruin the whole experience and that's the best part about this is gonna end on a fun note whoa slow down slow down well there's gonna be multi users in there and some others it's a variety so multi user alright so we have to go until we get the orange and the cop I haven't no idea what I just ate do you know what coffee tastes like and might not pretty sure we can say coffee what are you in coffee too I don't know my taste buds are jacked I get does any yeah Charlotte you have flat chocolate you got round chocolate you got a smaller round chocolate the grid trickery of the rebel is that they're all saying let's just finish these I wanna I'm done with those just to make sure we're just as disappointed in you you're talking to we're just as disappointed as you we were looking forward to really making a nasty face there at the end but apparently just people from England don't like coffee across the board tens from me I don't know if there was one thing that I absolutely disgustingly hate that Marmite was salty but I could eat it it was powerful I will say though I think my favorite is just a hot food love fish and chips big shout-out to Helen thank you so much for sending us this food and down on the This is by far one of the least offensive "Americans try British food" videos. Usually they hate almost everything and insult our quaint and backwards isles.
