We Tried the WEIRDEST Flavored Ice Creams We Could Find - Taste Test

should we start this one off with a question cam i was just gonna say it's time to do the thing that our mothers always told us never to do or that we couldn't do which is have ice cream for breakfast try that [Music] well today we are going to be trying something that i've wanted to do for a long time and it's also something that we're going to save you guys a lot of money on yes we're going to try all the unique flavors of ice cream that we could find the flavor is that you're like i want to try it but i'm not willing to spend the money to try it that seven bucks can go towards something else yeah why buy x when i know that this is so much better if you always go back to cookie dough yeah every time i mean i am i'm like a hot fudge brownie guy okay i don't know if i should be happy or scared i mean here's the thing at the end of the day it's still ice cream yeah but we did drink our pea a couple episodes ago so but what are you getting at i don't know austin that's what i'm saying round one you're an ice cream what if that's like not raspberry it's like collage or something look at that that does look really nice and it's it's summer right you're like you got it this is [Music] no tastes fine do we get this get the bread right dude i got a big chunk of red i got a chunk of red and a little gob thingy that is not what i was expecting i know the flavor it's it's it's exactly the flavor but it's weird i don't know if i like it as an ice cream i don't think i like it i have no idea what it is really it's got a weird almost like minty undertone mint like the not even glows that's ice cream it's just cold i don't know about that all right what do you think it is i know it is peanut butter jelly that's what i'm saying the whole time i'm like this tastes like jelly that is one thousand percent peanut butter and jelly that's really beautiful it tastes exactly like a pb j brown juice this ice cream is green why is the bowl warm i just washed it oh don't do that well you better get stuff yeah i know i know but it's weird it's melting my ice cream look at it real quick guys that looks like guacamole in a bowl i was gonna say i think this is avocado you haven't even eaten it it looks like avocado though that's it like lighter check out the weird black marks what was it what was that whatever you've got where did you eat it that's really good it is [Music] i kind of feel like i taste avocado no your taste buds suck man my nose is a little stuffy what what are you doing here watch it bub that's good i'm surprised that you guys like this because i thought it was disgusting you think it would be all of our lives we're taught that green things are disgusting yeah this green thing it's tasty what do you think okay you ready you want to say it i think i know we'll both say it all right what do we think it is okay one two three pistachio [Music] matcha wait what matcha green tea what the frick is matcha you don't know what matcha is oh that's good oh i forgot cam i'm sorry i forgot about this oh no cam you're going to the hell we got about the teething i'm sorry cam is it tt i don't know i'm not really sure it just says contains milk i plead the fifth what's the ignorance one yeah that's that's on us i did know a mormon guy that used to drink matcha every way every day though but he might have been not grape it does it does have matcha green tea in it so i didn't know but it's cold i'm good it's so hot and i'm not gonna lie it tastes good [Music] i'm sorry man round three three ah and all right let's see here we got lots of chunks it's got like looks like tar it's got lots of dark she went scraped this off the hot pavement and wow that is that looks tasty i'm not gonna lie cheers cheers [Music] what is that that's a kick to the tongue i'm tardy zingy wow that's good i know exactly what even are there like is it seeds what is that you taste that like texturey yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's crunchy not overly powering that is totally cereal i can get behind this dude this is good what's cereal that crunch is totally cereal you know what i mean it is serially i totally get you but i know what they're going for in this one i know the flavor if you take away anything from this episode no whatever this is you need to have some yup this is amazing literally could be my new favorite ice cream of all time it's got everything it's got the creamy it's got the fruity it's got the crunch what crap that is so good it's blackberry cinnamon toast crunch is that what you're going with yes i'm gonna say i know exactly what this is blueberry belgian waffle is that a thing what waffle cone i knew that that's what it is is that crunch my goodness that is delicious oh man who makes this kroger private selection are you for real this is kroger um i might finish this one yep i did that's yummy i can't waste this one round dude this got some unique traits to it it's got like little tiny colors little pops of color kind of like confetti cotton candy like funfetti i'm getting a full this blue swirly like cream drizzle so the blue swirlies are actually glittery they look really close really oh my gosh i see it bottoms up dink i taste cotton candy i do is that cotton candy i'm trying like that's like this is where my mind went i feel like this color is always associated with cotton candy we put us little chunks there's even little green pieces there's little orange and green pieces what is that flavor [Music] that definitely has a cotton candy flavor to it but is that it is it just cotton candy but i mean cotton candy doesn't have little red or i mean little orange green chunks what is that the flavor of this one is so subtle it doesn't match the color you know what i mean like it's a very light which makes me think cotton candy because cotton candy has a very light flavor you just have a that's the only thing i can think of is cotton candy i'm just gonna have to go with cotton candy man i don't know i'm thinking maybe birthday cake ah see that's where i was getting with the vanilla let's see mermaid sparkle mermaid sparkle what the hell did you even name that oh no i don't know what a mermaid tastes like ah look cotton candy ice cream with blue glitter swirls and candy bags but here's the thing mermaid sparkle i would have thought it tastes more like tuna but well like tuna yes mermaid wow is it cannibalism if they're half human this was made from the tail bits i don't know man wow okay yeah so it definitely has that light cotton candy so it's just candy candy bits yeah see this one's hard to name because it's just made up like we may not have gotten the obscure name but we got the flavor it's also funny there's a lot of pink in the logo but no pink in the ice cream if those orange pieces were pink i would have gotten it really and i wouldn't nailed it you wouldn't have thought like unicorn there is a unicorn one in that it's not oh do you have you have the universe yes it's in our freezer right now is it good answer it all right there you go kid loves it kids love it regardless it's definitely marketed to a young kid round five what is that white stuff i don't know it looks like sap it does look like that looks i mean it kind of looks like honestly it looks like freezer burn it does but i know that that's not what it is at least i hope not cheers mate [Music] it's an cheers texture i don't like it whatever it is i don't like it what is that i don't know it like i don't even how do you describe what it does in your mouth it's it's so weird i don't know it's one of those like like hard sandy textures that's exactly what i was gonna say it's almost it's like a gritty gritty syrup almost kinda yeah [Music] i want to like it but i can't i can't get past the texture what is it though is there other white there's other white pieces in there i think it's a lot of different shades of white there yeah there's like white sprinkle things so there's the there's a better crosstalk there's the kind of uh yellowish like sandy stuff yeah stuff and then there's like little white chunks that color looks like the inside of a brazilian nut yeah yes i totally get that now the flavor's not bad mm-hmm but it's also not great yeah it's a very like the texture is almost king in this one i feel like it's some sort of nut it has to be like a nut paste i'm totally yeah like a macadamia maybe that's the only thing i could think of i'm gonna say that it has to be like one of those weird combos right like two or three flavors because i know it's not pralines and cream cause that's a normal flavor that is a normal flavor and it's got like a gold band to it yeah this one's kind of i'm gonna say macadamia nut and it's gonna have some other obscure flavor macadamia and cream something yeah i'll go with that what's right now wild berry lavender mascarpro mascara scarpoon lavender it's not even purple how is it it shows purple on the box it's like whey purple on the box not even purple on the ice cream it shows purple there and maybe it's our lighting i don't know but that is definitely like a very i mean if it has a tinted purple i thought the purple was like i feel like i taste the lavender now i feel like the lavender is in the creamy ice ice cream i can see that now mascarpone let's see here real quick okay you ready for this not at all what you think it was what is it it is an italian cream cheese coagulated by the addition of certain acidic substances such as lemon juice vinegar and citric acid weird yeah cream is that italian cream cheese i'm not a fan this is probably my least favorite of the bunch i i probably agree with that on the label here it says strawberries raspberry puree okay i guess that's right then because this says a combination of strawberries raspberries blackberries and or other berries so wild berry is just taking a bunch of berries and smashing them together yeah how wild is that round six this looks like wet sand this does not look appetizing i'm not gonna why does it look so weird i don't know man it's got chunks of dark brown and a bright light pink i already know what it is do you just better smell i think of would have that's like a dark chocolate too that's not like just normal chocolate that's a sucky chocolate flavor now here real quick before we reveal it is it worse than the last one i don't think so no yes it is it is worse yes the last one tastes good compared to this this one's by far the worst one out of the entire batch so far hmm what are you thinking see cords with cherry i think so gorgeous cherry here we go watermelon chocolate chip feels like a big head what kind of exciting ice cream is sherbet sherbet how do you say that i was called a sherbet growing up me too obviously it's the same what's the difference between sherbet and sorbet i taste the watermelon now it looks like watermelon why would you mix watermelon and chocolate that's so weird sweet and dreamy bright and creamy that's dumb the watermelon isn't it and it's low fat why even just stop if you're gonna do something like this should go this whole flavor sucks ew why this is weird the worst by far two thumbs way down don't do it don't waste your money final round round seven looks gross does look gross it looks like this one looks like blood it looks like funfetti before you meet it does you know what i mean it's got a lot of weird colors well the red is kind of like a jelly like looking stuff but then there's little sprinkle bits yeah it's kind of like yellow green the little tiny colors though they're kind of like transparent yeah they are almost like fruity pebbles yeah cheers [Music] that is a strong flavor oh yeah what is that that is citrusy that is a very strong flavor like it doesn't hold back it's almost like you'd have to be a kid to enjoy this because that is strong out the gate like they should tone it down a little bit and it would be great there's little chunks left in my mouth is it lime i think you're right on the white being a lemony flavor it's definitely citric so if you actually taste different parts of the actual ice cream itself there's two different flavors okay like actually okay i noticed that i just knew whoa that one was strong tell me what you tasted that was like straight up i think it was lime okay yeah i do see that side's definitely lemon this side i want to say it's almost like a cherry or a now they do like the white cherry flavor it kind of reminds me of that like those white those red white blue popsicles you know you get the white cherry so what it tastes like i mean i know what it is like i said this ice cream alone was the one that sparked this idea for me i don't even know would it help if i said it's a candy it's a candy is it sour patch kids i've seen this too what yeah it's weird vanilla light ice cream lemon sorbet with red berry swirl and original sour patch kids bits wow that's weird that's overpowering not great no not great i don't think you don't wanna buy it it's kinda good i think we're in agreement that the best ice cream of the day was the blueberry waffle yes the blueberry belgian waffle ice cream was by far the best flavor i'd say surprisingly my second favorite was bbj i'm trying to think of all the flavors now peanut butter jelly mermaid the mermaid one was good there was the matcha ah the matcha might be my number two belgian blue waffle uh-huh matcha pbj burps both of us but i gotta say the pbj still wouldn't be a favorite i mean i liked it all right guys thank you so much for
