Men Try Weird Icelandic Food & Sweets for the First Time!

you know it always cracks me up about iceland what is that it's more green than greenland that's right and greenland is more icy than iceland that's a fun fact i learned from the mighty ducks d2 [Music] we have been sent a gigantic box of treats and sweets and other things all the way from iceland from icelandic shop dot is oh my so excited to get this into my mouth and they ship all the way and other mythical creatures here's a fun fact for you they actually will build highways around certain rocks because they believe elves live in those rocks and then yeah wow they're not allowed to got a bunch of treats for you to try and we'll finish it off with the hot dog so first we have the serious praline chocolate filled with caramel that already oh look at that fancy package oh what is this okay a chocolate bar filled with caramel i like it wow it's got the gooey caramel that's not chewy that's right it's like the carmelo exactly look at that gooey goodness that might be the best chocolate bar i've ever had that's real good next we've got crop it's crisp cereal centers covered with rich milk chocolate is this a breakfast this is breakfast crop big summer blow out what it's a big summer blowout what is that from frozen frozen yeah brother guy in the little he's got a sauce oh gosh that was on purpose yes i'm have to eat them all wow that same great chocolate this is what a five all right delicious chocolate covered bars with licorice bits inside so i will say this this is the only licorice candy you will be trying tonight now iceland loves their licorice why we actually got sent about 12 to 15 other licorice candies which we are going to be making a separate video so you will have a full licorice video coming to you guys before too long that sounds terrible yeah if really doesn't even have the consistency of licorice it's very soft wow okay that gives me a little hope for the black licorice interesting cam you are going to love these these are white milk and good oh my gosh this is like i thought it was wasted did you know for a long time iceland was trying to drive up tourism so they were given fantastic deals if you had a layover in iceland like you were flying to europe and you took a plane that had a layover in iceland it was like wicked cheap really yeah they're like just get over here check out the candy in the healing pools have a grand old time drink some mead with a troll and a you know fairy or whatever wow but now they'll cobble your shoes for you all right we have salami sticks and i am not positive what kind of meat this is made of but there you go they have a lot of goats these look like candle sticks okay we gotta light them up well stokey there it is i mean oh good these are good i like the treats i like their meats what are we doing here still i don't know man we moved to iceland all right next we've got bombs which are chevy caramel covered with creamy chocolate oh there's some fat boys it's a fun little shape ah there you go oh what the heck it's really hard yeah oh wow that kind of hurt my teeth that was really tough it's like chewing into a noun later yes or cow tail the like white piece of the cow tales flavor yes not the hardness though it seems like similar consistency but stale like a stale cow tail okay or a charleston chew this is like a charleston chew to me okay but a little yeah a little harder to chew yeah because charleston chew all day this is a serious praline chocolate filled with peppermint oh it's got that fancy lettering it does okay that means we know it's gonna be done it's gonna be seriously delicious what oh is that a mint like peppermint you know i didn't hear her telling us this i wasn't paying attention wow that's really good it tastes like a fancy junior mint wow like a really fancy junior mint all right next we've got elephant balls chocolate balls and candies so be careful when you bite it yeah it's not gonna hurt the elephant you can't find elephant balls one or two a lot smaller than i anticipated wow poor guys oh it's hard again do you not listen to me ever i didn't i'm having it we were too busy laughing you're right it was elephant balls this one's gonna dislocate my jaw wow it's stuck in my these hardcore what does that taste like it's a little tough it's like a reason or a whatever yes thank you it's like a really bad reason or a milk good well sorry friend cause the reason is not you get out of here all right this next one i've got three flavors these are milk chocolate wafers dark chocolate wafers cheering coconut chocolate flavors from prawn forest prawn it's the icelandic version of porous goat all right so let's do the let's do the milk chocolate first milky milk milk chocolate wow iceland you're chocolate all right dark there we are it tastes like that one with more angst it doesn't even taste like chocolate to me on that one for whatever reason it just tastes like despair creamy despair and then these ones it's a cocoa knot coconut i love coconut do you know what you don't like cocoa i like coconut it's a it's about it's not the flavor it's the consistency it feels like how i think astro turf would taste i'm sorry for your taste buds coconut is a wonderful flavor okay this one is a serious chocolate bar with sea salt and pretzel i like brown and it's serious seriously seriously this is our football give us the best i only need one more i'm getting chopped let it out look at all the little bits freaking pretzel there pretzel yeah that's a pristine looking pretzel that's good got a little bit of salty with your sweet a little bit of crunchy with your creamy mm-hmm a little bit of sweet and savory wow that one's pretty good there's a good amount of saltiness to that yeah it's not overpowering though but it's more than like your average yeah chocolate-covered pretzel wow that's really good all right i am gonna go cook and prep your hot dogs and that'll be your last and hopefully best thing oh [Applause] here's the thing guys america loves their hot dog oh yeah and we're known for them yep but apparently iceland is known for their hot dogs they don't even have baseball okay these are icelandic hot dogs if you go up to a hot dog stand and ask for ain meth out this is what you will get with everything on it wow you didn't even say a hot dog so you've got the ketchup which is actually made with some apples rather than a lot of sugar like we use here in the usa you've got hot dog mustard which is different than our mustard as well there is remoulade which is mayo mixed with relish and it's topped off with fresh and crispy onions wow she didn't say it was only made with apples she just said it was made without apples it's still a tomato-based sauce this looks fantastic this looks absolutely incredible and i love so i use just normal buns wow it is made from icelandic lamb along with pork and beef and their lamb is organic free-range grass-fed hormone-free the sheban iceland literally roamed the countryside until the fall eating berries and leaves and he's over here naughty like yep yep i know all this the pigs and cows live on small loving farms in one of the cleanest most pristine environments on earth so the hot dogs are made with natural casings so you have that pop when you bite into them all those natural spring minerals are just seeping into the foliage they're eating it up those wellness yep what are they called natural healing healing wells healing pools enough talking please don't ever don't touch my wiener with yours i don't even like onion this is great wow that is obviously it's not your traditional american hot dog ketchup mustard a lot fancier a lot more flavors going on looks like i'm flying to iceland oh my gosh yeah yeah dude this is so good got a little crunch from the onion fantastic all those sauces are delicious that is fantastic i mean this whole dang thing it also doesn't have the traditional hot dog flavor like i'm talking the dog itself it's very light in a weird way it's kind of like fresh not overpowering it's very simple like you can tell it's a hot dog but it's different that's good wow so there is one other way to order a hot dog and this is called the clinton our former president bill clinton when he visited iceland he would only order these with just mustard so they have started calling it the clinton just mustard eh hey billy hey there billy hey there billy it's so good i noticed there's no cheese there's no what cheese what are you talking about cheese you don't put cheese on your hot dog never what you do every time never eat a hot dog without cheese i mean if i'm eating a chili dog i'll put cheese on it put some cheese in the chili but never cheese on a dog always so bill clinton scheduled a meeting in iceland just to get one hot dog it is not true but it could be a really good story oh we know it's not true he came forward he they were they caught him they were like you went to iceland and you just got a hot dog and they're like no no i was there on a meeting i did not go to iceland to have one hot dog [Music] i do there you go go billy case and point can't blame them though these
