Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I can't take these kinds of videos seriously. Am I supposed to believe that any of these are natural responses if a camera man is taking close ups of them and following the around?
This isn't really "The Old Fashion Way". This is just walking up to complete strangers and asking them out on a date apropo of absolutely nothing. That has never, ever been how the vast majority of dating has worked.
You got to know different people through friends and colleagues, work, school, church, whatever. Fancied someone a bit and then started dating based on an already established friendship.
All he does is walk up cold and say, "Would you like to go on a date with me" and "Are you single?" Daft.
Are these just all actors? I really can't tell if this is genuine
This is fake. They aren't complete strangers
AHhhhhhhh fuck! This is gonna go viral and be all over facebook even though it's fake as all hell, sappy, and the entire concept is based off of nostalgia and bullshit. "Ohhh look how far we've fallen" "We've gained from technology but look at all we've lost!". This is some Joey Salads shit all over again. Please don't fall for this shit. Anecdotally, it's not even accurate I know plenty of people who have met their SO irl.
Did he try a pub? His approach is really strange.
It's obviously fake, it's supposed to be a short film.
Here's the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1fqC9nbmc4
Omleto just re-posted it with a clickbait title that makes it seem like a 'real' video and not a film.
Y'know, this is almost certainly fake, but that didn't stop it from imparting that same sort of golden, warm glowy feeling that you get from actually going on a first date. It's cute and I appreciate that.
