games particularly when the villain asks you nicely to do something what am I going to do say no so rude still that's the situation I was in in Portal 2 as Wheatley and I were excitingly escaping from glados's test chambers after several similar attempts to trick and kill us GLaDOS extended a library to what she promised was the final test chamber er you were almost at the last test why don't we just do it trust me it's an easier way off and whatever asinine plan you're Frankie with seems legit and she asked so nicely what are you going what are you going huh there's a deal you probably can't see get closer oh it was a trap probably guess that oh and an achievement so now everyone knows I fell for that and will do until the end of time I just wanted to see the deer I made it all up surprise they're working on a military contract to develop an army of clones and respond to a psychic commander tap secret of course fettle is one of the commander's you gotta be [ __ ] kidding me this is why nobody takes us seriously military clones fair is what you get when you cross call of duty with the ring and is as full of deadly military hardware and unexpected jump scares as that implies what I'm saying is that it's easy to be jump scared by something panic throw a grenade and then accidentally blow yourself up No shut up it is fear is clearly anticipating this as it has an achievement called suicide King for killing yourself five times oh well at least the game is called point to some small consolation you were scared for you are far more durable than the world which you now live usual powers to protect suffer Superman is the epitome of truth justice in the American Way and as such frowns on dishonesty of any kind except for the whole lying to everyone close to him about how he's a super-powered alien from the planet Krypton thing even so his video game Superman Returns does include some cheat codes for when things get tough they let you unlock things like infinite health and stamina as well as cool new costumes and moves we had become so accustomed to looking into the sky for help that we have forgotten how to save ourselves it's cool I've got cheat codes I can totally save myself now why let me use cheat codes in the first place if you're just going to be sarcastic at me about them Superman no no look at him he's not angry he's just disappointed deploy your elite Treadstone super soldier skills not more than 1 in 10 bullets you shoot actually hits a baddie the sky passing Birds innocent civilians you can hit sure but the actual enemy yeah not so much the last thing you need on such a day is this is the Xbox achievement system pinging you a message that reads need glasses we assume this is a sarcastic tone from the developer regarding your sub 10% accuracy in a Bourne conspiracy level and not a medical recommendation or an in-game Specsavers ad hey if I put my glasses on that's going to look even less like Matt Damon so those were some
