The NEW Piglin Brute Mob! (Minecraft 1.16 Snapshot POST-Release)

just behind me is a bastion remnant and as of today's snapshot 20w 27a they're home to another new mob this new addition is the piglet brute a completely reskin militant style mob version of the piglets that packs a massive punch yeah it's good interestingly enough these mobs ended up being added in after the nether update was officially released presumably for balancing reasons or because they needed more time to test out how it interacted with the game and with players in today's video we take a look at the difference between this brand-new piglet brute and its counterpart the plain old piglet then join us as we take a look at bash and remnants and the difference between rating them both with and without the piglet brute believe it or not the spike in difficulty is kind of absurd oh and there's been some other changes as well that we'll be covering right now all right ain't fishing for most we've got a pig named Bruce right here check them out look cool looking skin covered in gold gold and armed guard on the side there not only that but they are massively stronger in a major way let me to demonstrate piglets these guys right here that you'll find across the nether normally they have eight hearts and they deal four hearts of damage on strike now the piglet brutes are a different story y'all ready for this 25 harsh they've got 25 hearts for their health and they deal 10 hearts of damage so 20% more damage when you mess with the piglet Bruce which in my eyes is kind of absurd on top of that you cannot distract pig limb brutes with gold at any time if you right-click these other guys they'll be distracted and you can even escape using that tactic but pigs and brutes they don't want your gold they want your life it's bad news really I mean these guys like even he won you're mad you can still distract them I thought again okay you can't distract them when you're mad at you but either way you can't do it at all with the brutes here's another interesting difference regular piglets they do not like soul fire the blue fire they run away at a moment's notice the brute they are not impressed they kind of just hang out they literally don't worry about the fire at all so there's no scaring them with your flint and steel finally worth noting if you happen to be you in peaceful mode well they disappeared for one but my understanding is that in the bedrock slash pocket edition version of the game they don't do spawn but they just won't attack you similar to how normal pigments work in piece of them they just let you kind of wail on in just a second we're gonna be going head-to-head with them in a bastion remnant but a few small things to wrap up the changes in today's snapshot first and foremost you can now place down warped fungus as well as crimson fungus on mycelium blocks and literally like the final thing worth noting is that you can now lead with a leash your Zog wood mob so you've got a brand new pet for your world that wants to kill everything outside of bug fixes and some technical changes there really isn't anything else to this snapshot so with that we're gonna head to the bastion remnant and take on the pig limb brutes at their own home alright guys so we've got a bastion right here and we're gonna take it on and we're gonna see how long it takes us to get through a bastion with the new pig limb brute mobs facing off against us and then we're gonna take on the same exact bash and in the same exact world scene and we're gonna do it in the previous version 1.16 that doesn't have the pig limb brutes so I've got a timer running here there's a time stamp on screen perhaps if there's not only the final time at the end of it anyways these have to take my word for it so with that okay the moment we step foot on this black stone we're gonna begin this process and so I'm gonna be very very careful okay I'm only really worried about the treasure room loop but if I come across like another chest you know I'm not gonna be too mad about it so here's a regular old piglet and so I'm not gonna worry about them giving me too much trouble to be honest you can't even reach me and here's the first instance of a brute yeah oh what's good so he seems to move a little bit faster apparently he's got more health let me see last guy Oh to brutes here yeah they look like they've got way more help to be honest and I think they're strong or two you know they have a low boy did not mean for that oh gosh whoa well do it it's a good thing we had the reaction fair I'm not gonna worry about that it's a good thing we have the respawn anchor right there these guys have so much health like an absurd amount all right this is technically my first look at them because I recorded that intro clip that you guys saw a second ago after this so Wow I don't know if I would be ready for this to be honest today okay let's stay focused look for chests look for things that are useful and again these guys are always aggressive whether you're wearing gold or not so I don't know if they make other non brutes aggressive hey soul speed may as well grab the goodies here look at this beautiful okay bambam spectral arrows you know Sherwood you know whatever go the string chains okay beautiful sorted looking good alright moving on we've got to descend even further down again I'm trying to get to the treasure room here I don't know exactly if we're gonna come across it at the speed I want to but I should probably get the crossbow handy instead so that the moment I run into one of these suckers yeah like right there oh gosh oh no I didn't mean to hit him ooh yo he's super strong what oh you gotta be kidding me oh gosh and I got to deal with this mess Pig stupid worst all right go back down as fast as we can dude oh I don't know I'm ready for this okay so again should not have done that but I did it so now it's too late okay where's the brute he's right there lo the crossbow up okay where where is he I thought I just saw a stupid yo now they don't appear to have too much difficulty in being knocked back I didn't know if they had a wild amount no yikes what's good punk Oh disappeared wow so that was this just to hit for that piglet I guess they have lower health I don't know if they lowered the health of the regular Pig ones or not interesting I'm sure a lot will be illuminated in a little bit once I get to record the first part of this video yeah I've a feeling I went the wrong direction we're like at the bottom of this area right now okay back up we go not what I had in mind and frankly I don't like being this close to lava it's like not a good look oh boy okay here's the bridge okay so that's what I was looking forward to be honest just handle a couple of these guys it looks like the Brutes they always have axes they don't ever have crossbows oh boy oh they are angry now whoa follow me alert what the heck come on not good dude and they have some serious damage output like I'm legitimately concerned yeah well I was until they literally knocked themselves into lava okay well that makes my job way easier in fact I can maybe even lower them into lava cuz I do have these potions on me so oh you know what's good stupid what the heck I thought I just always right there yikes all right well he's just a regular one okay yeah and I hear them like moving all around I'm like I'm like oh gosh not what I meant to do I'm like pretty nervous to be honest others hoglets down there to probably take him out in the mean time I don't want to deal with him until later on you can just step away are they getting close look they're also mad do you hear him where are they they're so angry of attacking their precious steeds I'm pretty sure they don't like the Hogg ones either to be honest yo what's good stupid for some reason they can't seem to shoot up terribly reliably now I think that another piglet yeah legit right there yeah I'm gonna go ahead and take my sweet time he's heading down we're gonna mine down a single block and then okay we appear to be mostly save that I'm not touching with a 39 I have a bowl oh my gosh dude whoa oh gosh Oh No and there's another Pigman right there what no please oh no okay gonna get eat oh my gosh Oh II oh no he the shield he disables my shield that's what it is that's why I wasn't well I gotta call I'm back now you got me kidding me okay now that I realized they can legit just mess up my shield and I can't use it anymore like straight-up disable it that's gonna make knowing what I need to do a little bit easier okay but we're gonna take a bit of a faster approach cuz I'm not trying to mess around here for terribly long the Brutes definitely add a difficulty that I wasn't ready for because if you wear gold none of the pig limbs will even bother whoa oh I had to use the spectral err I forgot to have spectral arrested oh my gosh come on run play like this again okay well that one died we could get to right here at least okay that keeps us we're getting closer at least so you legit have to just be ready to take those guys on and not rely on your shield because it literally like it did me no good okay it's fine making some progress come together get wait I can use them on these guys at least thank goodness okay oh can I believe this right now now then he brutes guarding the center treasure doesn't look like it now the last time I was here here's I'm gonna do okay now I can just hit the lava not a huge deal to be honest if y'all could just stay way you oh gosh big the big lag the biggest of lags did you all see that well guess not because it was lagging but oh boy oh thank goodness to be honest oh I'm not much better off here okay hold on hold on hold on I just want to see what the ludus I don't care about oh my word I need to heal okay the pigs are getting to me if they try and get to me they'll get stuck in lava and die and they're not that bright so it's fine okay look the healing is working out nicely enough I suppose oh and I hear the crossbows getting ready to be honest here's the real thing y'all ready there's the loot we got an ancient debris is some gold and it took us about 15 minutes now we cut that down a little bit for you but needless to say the brutes present a serious problem alright but now we're gonna check out what raiding a bastion room it looks like when we can just mosey on through you'll see in a second alright guys it's time same exact world same exact remnant different version of Minecraft no Pig limb brutes here there's gonna be a lot different of an experience we're gonna start the timer right now and as you can see in just a second here it's gonna be a lot different well I could be a little different because piglet brutes but more importantly that's going to drastically change the way in which we need to approach okay you'll see in just a second when I'm talking about the moment we find our first chest with some loot now hopefully okay perfect okay essentially it's done now at this point so we're gonna take this guy out there's no other pig lines nearby and so as far as I can tell the moment we knock this sucker y'all ready again the lutes okay you know spectra aerials we'll take it we got the boots just in that by and large could be a different experience because piglets don't get mad at you when you're wearing gold they just don't you got good taste piglet brutes get mad at you no matter what they are always mad at you stay mad boys but look there's no other piglets nearby as far as I can remember from before so I believe that next time we roll around nearby one we should be left alone let me see naturally we don't run into any big ones now but hmm I want to say yeah here's the bridge so look yo we could homeboy what's up I'm just here to visit is this your place needs a little work look at this the experience is entirely different the Brutes essentially force you to engage you have to you've got to battle them and and when you attack a brute it makes the other big boys mad at you too oh my gosh that was particularly disturbing can we just thank you goodness gracious as you can see right here this is a totally different experience oh gosh really gonna play me like that let's yeah exactly I recommend you run so then we go we can and now we can take our sweet time because we don't have to worry about the piglets like legit they're not even to come for us it's the best like you can take out the mob spawners now with relative ease like I don't believe piglets will get mad if you mind those yeah Nomad it was that the only one I think that was the only one now again mind some gold the boys they will get angry you see they're already starting to move around we already see a couple of them yeah exactly look they're already trying to come from me now instantly trying to defend their treasure hi easy does it guys come on meanwhile I got the same exact loot well I guess that's a snapshot video piggelin
