hi welcome to today's cook-off now you're probably wondering why is this short stocky man to my left well it all started on Twitter ether bazinga decided to put this picture up I followed up with this response and he challenged me to uh the people wanted it so I delivered as per do you know the rules of the cook-off I think I'm aware let me run you through the rules very quickly we both have 15 pounds to spend we have 15 minutes to go to Sainsbury's collect the ingredients come back to this kitchen and cook up whatever a meal you would like do you have all the equipment necessary that's the one thing I don't know why I'm willing to let you do because you are not a resident of this household you are able to have a quick browse of our equipment Deanna Taylor yes we do perfect there we go pillar peeler that's all I wanted to know I'm excited to see what you can cook but more importantly what I come up with because I know why I come up with is mr. four times a year is mr. pepper because I didn't know if you'd have anything a quiet on it we got some mixed herbs where you're some garlic granules and we've got some grapeseed oil oh okay well right well the rules are we've got 25 minutes to both make our dish we're gonna have to essentially scrap over at the hog but made a mess malware that into my pockets because that will weigh me down then it'll slow me down actually just smashed it by the same time boys I have to say that I think I did a better job to fight with you all right okay one has put in a considerable more effort than the other I think from just the first look at it I know you so you got me a drink well that's a green light I couldn't dare imagine having a meal without something to help cleanse that palate I thought I'd let you choose why are you finish doing the yeah water shall we yeah okay so what I've gone for is a very classic English but my own take on it I like to put it in a toasted bun the one I think gives that crunchy sort of texture to it I've gone for a classic fried egg on top with it you might be I don't actually like the wild eggs I like to present it how I would have eaten it and that's where there's minimal white around the egg I went for a nice very well cooked bacon with no fat on the edges one point I cube sausages underneath but I cut them in half and spread them out that I appreciate that that's a good sausage I'm a learner so yeah and obviously to complement it also to you know our friend is in here to join us for the munch of us here in spirit he is here in orange she's among these about Chuck that's my munch okay no butter why'd you make that decision because I don't want too much going on you've already got the yolk from the egg you've already got the brown sauce going on there and I just feel like butter would just just it would just wouldn't go with it correct answer you want me to run the food yes please so here we have a flat iron steak seasoned with salt pepper and garlic granules cooked rare pretty much we've got some homemade home cut chips with parmesan parsley on the garnish also tossed in foil we've got some fine beans that would put the oven roasted with some parmesan on top good it's it looks very good Ethan you have done a brilliant job here you presented it well I have it looks scrumptious was this meal made in mind for me yes I said I know tell us lies the last mistake and you know how I like my steak done no but I'm guessing by the way you've mocked me that you don't like it well done so I'm a medium guy prayer okay yeah that's the first thing that I've noticed over here all right I'm gonna go I'm gonna nice you and I'm gonna go for it no yeah I may just I'm so rad because that's what I prefer make sense yet to me is it really choose it spoken your job sometimes they can probably the bigness kid I'm hungry I mean it's uh I'm starving be that no more tough mix-up on the draw I mean lots of it seasoning but you know alas this is how you saw me you've put me and Harry to shame I can admit that now I know there was a lot of garnish waffle at the mmm that was that I can admit that now that wasn't meant to be garnished yeah just in case anyone didn't know that surrounded by a B I'm sorry cleanse the palate loss after yeah looks dirty as well I wouldn't find it cleaner malaria on the top a winner needs to be ground I don't rush any decisions
