[Music] hmm [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] um [Music] so [Music] ah hello everyone dr kevin zadai with you with warrior notes and thank you for joining us tonight i've got all my friends here we've got friends from out of state friends from our staff we're we're all excited about what god's doing tonight so welcome make sure you tell your friends we're on we want as many people on as possible in these days that we live in we want to know how to operate in what god has for us and one of the main things that the lord has been speaking to me about and i felt like i need to come to you live i'm going to be coming to you live this evening as well as as i'll be coming to you one more time live as well in another session and it looks like that's going to be probably same time tomorrow night okay so tell your friends and this is very important now this is not for goats and this is not for tares and this is not for the unwise virgin so you all can just um take the night off and this is just for people that are the remnant that want to go on with god so and i say that kind of in a joking way because we all know that we're all we're all part of that we're all sheep you know but um the goats are going to argue with you about everything this is one of the most controversial subjects that you can that you can have um spoken about and that's on the uh the word tongues as soon as you say tongues automatically in within christian circles everybody knows you're not talking about about your tongue inside your mouth you're talking about that thing that you do they call it a thing they say that that thing is speaking in tongues you know but what what they don't understand is that is our language that is our language is given to us by heaven and um so i jo i joke about getting getting a red shaking kind of shaking the cage and letting getting rid of the people that if you don't if you don't want to believe in tongues if you don't want to speak in tongues if you um don't want to have friends that do then you know that's fine what i'm saying is is that for the remnant in these last days we're all going to have to be full of oil we're going to all have to be full of fire we're going to haunt we're going to have to be full of of the washing of the word we're going to have to be full of of the word of god and this all involves the holy spirit so when the holy spirit comes like he did on the day of pentecost he manifests himself in a whole bunch of ways and one of the ways that he came was with with this rushing mighty wind and that he also came with fire that was on people's heads he came with utterance people started speaking in other languages that they didn't know and but the people that were coming in from all the other countries to pay homage they had to at least once a year from what i stu my studies show that they came a couple times a year for different reasons but they had to bring a sacrifice and they were from other countries so not everyone in jerusalem would hear would would just hear hebrew or aramaic at the time they would hear they would hear all these other languages being talking talked about because people came from other countries but they were they were paid they were they were had jewish roots and they were doing what they were called to do and that was to present themselves once a year and yet that day in the pentecost they heard themselves uh they heard they heard they heard that their language is being spoken in a powerful supernatural way so the day of pentecost that came they saw the mighty they heard the mighty rushing wind but then they saw tongues of fire on people's heads and then they heard their their language being spoken by people that that wouldn't have known that language and it was a supernatural thing and then also uh peter stood up he said listen these aren't drunk like you think they are these are full of the holy spirit okay so what well you know when you're at the mall or you're at a restaurant you hear somebody ordering in another language you don't think oh my gosh they're speaking in tongues or they're or they're drunk yeah you know i when i hear somebody speak another language does anybody here think that they're drunk no no okay so it wasn't that it was they were acting as though they were full to the point where they're full of joy and there was a manifestation okay so we have those four manifestations that happen on that day then then we have the the fact that that they were anointed with power to be witnesses and so they became very bold in the new testament church so we're gonna we're gonna get into all of that tonight and and in in the next service so this is this is this is the characteristic of the new testament church at the beginning at the inception and i would think at the end that that we would finish up that way at least as well how we started right i mean you know i mean we're so so you know what happens is is satan fights speaking in tongues more than anything else i i have ever seen in my life i have never seen such uh such a a staunch uh hatred toward uh in the in the jew in the uh in the religious realm towards speaking in tongues but see it was all through the bible and it hasn't ceased yet because because we haven't been perfected yet paul said hey listen when all we reach perfection all this stuff is going to be passed away we're not going to need to speak in tongues where you know we're going to be perfected in love we're going to be perfected in everything but that time has not come yet and if you don't believe it just just check yourself out you're not perfect either are we so we know we haven't reached perfection yet but i first of all i want to encourage you all before we get into this study and talking about this this is you know i'm excited that this is my like one of the most controversial subjects that that you can talk about and it it i'm excited to do this because i know it's going to help you but i do not want i do not want anyone if you don't agree with this then that's fine you just you just show yourself out you know and it's fine you know i'm doing doing this for people that want to go on with god and want everything that the bible has given us and um you know i'm not going to be mad at you or upset i'll miss you but we've got to go on with god and if that means if that means people not being able to go past well everything was fine until you got into that holy spirit thing well the holy spirit thing is not a thing it's it's a person who has caused people to go into another realm and pray out the mysteries of god to speak by the spirit means you're speaking by the holy spirit there's an anointing that comes with that there's a blessing that comes with that it gives you power it gives you the ability to walk in the spirit in a stronger way the holy spirit is that person he didn't stop being who he is just because the apostles died that's called sensation that's cessationism which means that after the apostles miracles stopped all these other signs and wonders stopped and that is that is calvinism and that is absolutely not the gospel of jesus christ jesus never gave us permission to say when this ends he's the only one that can do that and there's nothing in the bible that shows we've reached perfection yet so what paul said about even tongues will cease that was when we reached perfection that is not down here but based on what i've seen just today i mean nobody's walking in that yet so anyway before we start i wanted to encourage you all uh that this is live so if you want to come and and be with us at the first warrior women's conference in dalton georgia we have uh we have just a few seats left because they their capacity for that convention center is is higher than than the other venues we usually go to that's why we go to these bigger ones now because we have to be able to seat 1400 to 1500 people now instead of the 300. so because of that they were able to get us a couple hundred more seats so we still have we still have a couple hundred seats uh we're at the 1200 mark right now and we can go to 1400 and then we're going to have to close it because of the way the regulations are so please come out and join us it's going to be our first conference um you know we're going to be talking about where your women and warrior men so the men are invited but because people have been asking but also kathy my wife here she'll be speaking and we got some other surprises for you others some other ladies are going to be speaking as well and we'll announce that as soon as as soon as um that is time to do that okay also i i'm so excited about this i always wanted to write a book about the will of god and the lord had given me permission to do this so i did that and i got that this will be released and we'll be offering this in the future in the near future but i've i've got the book and uh it's called encountering god's will and it goes through some of the things we just talked about in actually in houston we talked about god's will in houston and um the publisher was not able to get these to us in time and then i also have the cd series a two cd series as well that just was uh i just received these in the last couple days so i got my copy i had to pay for them but you know that's okay you know sometimes you have to pay for them for amazon to deliver things and it's kind of funny because it's like kathy i got to go buy my book it didn't come in the mail so i got to go buy my own book on amazon and they actually send it faster than if you would order it from the publisher all that so anyway um so there's lots of good things coming but i'm not afraid to tell you that the separation is already has already happened and it's pretty evident like the people that don't want to go on with god pass a certain point because of of their choking point but we have to go on as believers in the new testament the new testament believer is a holy spirit filled believer so that you can't just you can't just say well i'm going to heaven i'm getting in and you know i'm just going to hold out until he comes and watch my end time dvds and and rehearse about you know the different things about what people say is going to happen in the end days you know and that you know like i said many times there's these kind of things happen through history all the time they're in cycles there's cycles of of things that happen in every generation that look like the antichrist is going to come forward this has been happening since the the book of thessalonians was written did you know that that in thessalonica paul had to tell them hey listen y'all you need to go back to work they're like well no we quit our jobs because you know you can check it out in history they had quit their jobs because jesus was coming back just in a few you know so they gave their their two-week notice i guess you know what and they were like uh they were getting ready it's like oh you know i you know and so there's this mindset there's this mindset and you can study the cycles because i had to do that for college and if you've been in college you studied a lot of history and you know i got a dose of history and i learned something about history is that we learn nothing from history because we don't we don't we don't really learn our lessons through history we go into cycles there's cycles where they we come back around so smith wigglesworth he had lester sumrall come and live with him and he was over there in europe with him and and smith was uh was mentoring the the uh lester sumrall lester summer was a young minister and that man dumped into lester summerhall and then one day but he told us or somewhere he says you need to go back to the united states because the nazis are coming uh germany's going to be you know becoming you know they're going to get invaded and they're coming and so he sent us uh lester sumrall back to the united states and i think that that was it for for those two as far as i know i don't know everything about this but i i know that um lester sumrall told us this when i was in a meeting and told us this that and it looked it looked at that time as the world war iii no no it was world war ii but it looked like it was the end of the world like what we would say world war three was and and we have these cycles now you can do this you can place yourself if you studied history you can place yourself in the book of acts and see the holy spirit coming it's like oh my gosh everything jesus said has come to pass you know and everybody starts to anticipate this and they they see uh the the persecution that happened in jerusalem and and what happened in 70 a.d and it looks like oh my gosh this is that that's just what jesus said we got to run for the hills we got to hide we gotta you know uh you know don't even get your cloak don't get your you know don't don't go back for anything and and um that so thessalonica they were doing this they and um it ended up that you know lester sumrall had a full age lived to a full age had a wonderful ministry helped help me helped you probably too with a lot of things but if they would have just cowered and waited for the antichrist to come and he never came he never came he never seen himself but you can see this since since cain you can see this since cain killed abel that satan always thought he was after the deliverer he was always after the messiah satan was always trying to get himself positioned to take out the deliver he did i from what i read he did that to noah he did it he did it with moses he did it with jesus he tried to extinguish that through the womb he tried to get rid of the messiah okay so now with with uh the illegalization of abortion and the fight that there is in this country and all over the world all of you all they're just such a fight for the womb why it's because satan wants to seat himself but he's pushing the timeline so i want to so anyway i wanted i wanted to share some things with you tonight i want to start with something that we i had already read uh we had we've done some other filming today and so i wanted to start with a a a scripture verse in acts because the holy spirit he's a person he's here right now i mean i feel taken over by him because that's what he does he likes to have his way but he doesn't push so he is a loving he is a loving heavenly being he is the spirit of god he is part of the trinity and so the spirit of god is god you know and there's no there's no other way to explain it when you're in heaven you don't have any of these questions we have all these questions down here we have forums we have we have all kinds of discussions about the trinity but up there there's no question about it i've never i never had a question about what i encountered up in heaven i have everybody has questions down here okay so this is what luke wrote luke wrote the book of acts and when he wrote it he this is what he said he said that jesus went around for 40 days and this is in verse 3. i'm going to talk i'm going to start in verse 3 of chapter 1 of acts and show you what happened here with the holy spirit because if you remember as we're going to see in john 14 and 15 jesus was trying to get everybody ready that he was going to go and that another one like him another helper just like him was going to come and he was never going to leave him it was never going to leave us but he said you got to get ready for him and he's going to do just what i did and he's going to cause you to do the same things i did and even greater things he's going to lead you in all truth he's never going to leave you so so luke getting back to this luke says this in the book of acts and this is in the amplified version of chapter 1 verse 3 it says to them also he showed himself alive after his passion his suffering in the garden and on the cross by a series of many convincing demonstrations unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs appearing to to them for 40 days now think about that and this is luke talking to talking to the people he's writing this to and we can read this letter it's called the book of acts and and this is unquestionable evidences profound truths and jesus was preaching he had 40 days and this is what he chose to preach on he preached he taught on the kingdom of god so he discussed this with them okay so we know that the spirit of god is the promoter he is the he's over the kingdom in the sense of he is the one that hovered over the the face of the deep when god the father spoke god the father spoke in genesis light be and the spirit of god was right there to make it happen all the things that we see were formed by by god but through jesus christ but they were framed with words the father said them the spirit of god made it happen and that's what the spirit of god does so the spirit of god was speaking through jesus right jesus was saying what the father was saying and jesus said when the spirit comes he's only going to say what the father says okay he's not going to speak on his own so the spirit of god now is speaking and jesus is still here but what what what did jesus say he said this he said he said and while in their coming eating with them he commanded them not to leave jerusalem okay well why jesus he said because he said i bapti john baptized in water but i'm baptizing you in the spirit and he reminded of what jesus said of what john said about the baptism of the one that comes after me will be a a baptism of the spirit and of fire okay so in he said wait here for what my father had promised okay so he's teaching on the kingdom of god and then he just brings this up well see when when somebody's talking i listen to how their their mind is flowing it's like a flow chart to me so like if they're talking and they say well you know i'm asking for a friend well you just said this and you're asking for a friend now you know and so i can connect the dots and know that okay here's the here's what's going on so jesus is is preaching on the kingdom and then he just pops it up because this is what's on his mind he says while they were eating he commanded them he didn't he didn't put in a request he said you're going to have to stay here do not leave jerusalem okay well well why would why why the holy spirit's everywhere no the holy spirit what was was going to come there in jerusalem on that day he said wait for them and and the father is going to give you what he promised of which you have heard me speak okay john baptized with water but not many days from now you will be baptized and introduced to the holy spirit wow okay so the holy spirit's very important to jesus so he's very important to us and we want to know what he's doing what he's saying so so when they were all assembled you know they're they're always like fighting uh over certain things and arguing and then they they push each other and they john usually is the one that asks but they they like i said you got to ask him okay when when when is he going to do what he didn't do like what what what he didn't do he didn't he everybody thought that he was going to push rome out and set himself up as king of jerusalem and that's why the triumphal entry happened truffle entry was jesus is going to do it man this is it he's going to push he's this is the day this is the coup this is the overthrow and so he's way they like you know blessed is he who comes in the name lord messiah yay and he gets up there and then like nothing happens and they're like well do you need a microphone jesus or you know what a podium um you know and what happened was is that the unrealistic expectations of what the disciples and all the people thought a messiah was were destroyed at that time and this this this is what happens um all the time with us is that we expect certain things we expect the times in the seasons we we think that we know what god is doing and so we assume that since since uh you know jesus went up into heaven we assume that at any one point the end times are gonna come and so thessalonica if you read paul said listen man if you don't work you don't eat go back to work he said he said all these things have to happen before the one the son of perdition is revealed he goes through it step by step so he says actually there's someone holding him back from coming forward and you know who that is and then he doesn't tell us but see they knew who it was and um i just i know it was a person of the holy spirit being in the church in us on the earth i know that we're holding him back i know right now that they're planning on taking over everybody everybody can see that this is this has been the plan but it's a cycle that happens every generation and if i had all the hours that that would take to do that i could show you where every generation it looks like it's being set up for that to happen and this is unrealistic expectations uh on our part if we if we do that because the times in the seasons are set by the lord and that's what i want to show you this is so jesus was they knew you know they they were like okay we got to ask him when is the time when you're going to do this you're going to set it up and reestablish your kingdom on the earth and he and jesus is thinking well uh i just told you don't leave jerusalem because i'm gonna do it man i got the plan see they're they're thinking physical they're thinking you know this this person this leader uh this dragon this religion this prophet they're they're they're trying to figure out the bowls of wrath the seals they're trying to figure out the timeline and you can't do that because it's shuffled for a reason because satan is not supposed to know when his time is so he's kind of confused so what what's happening is is people are getting into his confusion but that confusion wasn't meant for us it was meant for him and it's a disinformation campaign that god has set forth do you understand that and then uh any good any government does that with their enemy they give they put put false information out there lead you on a on a rabbit trail that ends up in a hole with it's a you have to back out but it's just enough information to give it uh some truth but it leads you off astray and the intelligence agencies do that all the time that's that's what that's what they do they they they got to they got to keep it a secret because the enemy would know okay now listen to me this is what jesus said when they asked he said so verse 6 says so when they were assembled they asked him lord is it time yet when is the time you will reestablish reestablish reestablish your kingdom and restore it to israel re-establish the kingdom okay so are you talking about like back to king david because the bible clearly says through the prophets that there will never cease to be a descendant on the throne of the david that's in psalms 89. so he made a covenant with us already okay so were they thinking a physical king yes they were okay so this is what jesus jesus said i'm sure i don't know if he did an eye roll or or what he did he's like how many times have i told you this it's like okay i know what he's i know what he's probably thinking okay i gave you guys 40 extra days i should be i should be dead and you guys are like wasting the questions on this yeah you know because they were constantly trying to figure out like what his his his plan was but if you look to see if you study the zealots and i've uncovered that jesus had at least two zealots on his team and those zealots were were essentially uh part of like a a underlying special forces coup that was going on and they would actually uh go around and try to isolate roman soldiers and then how and kill them they would actually murder them from some of the writings that i've read and you can do this study yourself so um but but there was two zealots and one of them was suspected to be judas and judas actually thought i believe that jesus was going to set himself up and when he saw that it was going to be like barabbas who had just previously tried to do this from the writings that i read it showed that barabbas had a failed coop coup and that that he was left to dry with and he got put in jail so it's kind of funny it's not funny but the holy spirit is the one who is in line to bring in the kingdom and to help the believer and to empower them and jesus is wanting them to get this we've already got this all set up we've already got this plan before you were born and you can't leave jerusalem and this is what he said now i want everyone all over the world to listen to what he's saying here in verse seven he says this he said to them it is not for you to become acquainted with and know what time brings the things and events of time and their definite periods or fixed years and seasons their critical niche in time which the father has appointed fixed and reserved by his own choice okay own choice number one his own authority and his own personal power in other words that's above your pay grade that's classified that's a need to know so i don't think you have a need to know so you look at people's clearances they have a they have they're not on the need to know list then guess what you don't get briefed on that and so jesus said that's you're not on the list in fact there's only one if he would have went further i know he would have did what he's done in scripture before he said i don't even know when i'm coming back the angels don't know when come back he said the spirit doesn't know when i'm coming back only the father he said that okay he said that to his disciples already so they kind of been through this before with him and it just keeps coming up and it's like okay just john can you rephrase the question ask him again but use the you know use a synonym you know use a use something else you know like rephrase a question jesus is saying listen the father has reserved these things for himself and they're not for us to know okay but this is what he said verse 8 but he just like totally gives him the hand and he says this but you shall receive power from on high an ability of power and might when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witness in jerusalem judea samaria and to the ends of the very bounds of the earth wow so jesus went back to the kingdom which is spiritual kingdom he he had 40 days he's taught on the kingdom when they he was asked those questions again like like what the news media would do they would say okay we'll rephrase it it's like well you just asked that twice already it's like it's so they they try to rephrase it and to get maybe thinking that they would get a different answer than what than what it was before jesus was saying listen this this is who you're to get acquainted with this is the very person that ushers in the kingdom this is the very person who's going to be with you forever this is the very person who is going to speak through you and and he's going to lead you and guide you so we know we know that that he came and we so we know that jesus returned to the throne because he said when i go and i go and i sit on the throne i'm going to send the holy spirit so we know he made it he made it there to the throne right we also know that when he came he empowered the disciples to become apostles sent ones they went all throughout the world and turned the world upside down they they flipped the world to where people said they took note that they had been with jesus okay they acted like jesus act they saw the same works the same the same uh events the same the same power was available to them okay now the 120 also received power they spoke in other languages that they were not able to speak this was by the spirit this was a reversal of babel so the curse of babel was that men were bent on evil their hearts were evil it says and because they were evil their unity was very powerful so they were able to have agreement among each other because they could communicate was one language but what they were intending on doing was going outside of the realm of what god permitted and so the order that god had in creation there was all kinds of things that were in order in the heavens and on the earth there were there were laws that were in place that caused things to be predictable but god forbid people to use those to predict so when you have the positions of the stars which is astrology which is forbidden by the bible when you have all the things that witchcraft offers you i'm not saying that they don't know things i'm saying that it's forbidden why is it forbidden because you can reverse engineer you can reverse engineer the positions of the stars because there is a there is a order that god set in the heavens above and there are certain things on the earth and there are certain laws that we don't even know i mean there are things that that that science knows about what you can't see that they're not going to tell you it's called classified okay because it's an advantage to our enemies to know certain things there are different things that that you can use serp you can usurp authority over like the law of gravity that's just one that we know of but there are many more things many more laws that we if we learned how to manipulate them we we can we can uh overcome or use that now that's not always good because you can you can do what you what they call splitting an atom and causing a major unraveling uh of of an atom which would cause an amount amazing amount of power to be released and it's a destructive power it is called a nuclear bomb okay that is something that god had made an atom to bond in the those in uranium and things like that that if you break that bond a certain way certain technique it causes something that that is released that is destructive but god didn't create those substances to do that that's like you you think well you know you know god created all these substances so i can smoke this and take this you know and it's okay because god created it's like well yeah you know then um you know it doesn't say in the bible that you can't do that stuff well then it doesn't say it doesn't say in the bible that you can't paint the the san francisco bridge red so why don't you just go start right now and you can you can you know what i mean you you can't do that with everything because people find a way to do evil with everything and it's there's an abuse to things that just because it's available for you to do that doesn't mean it's right to do see this all has to do with the fall and the fact that we ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil we wouldn't even know how to make the the the drugs that are damaging to your dna the the the the illegal drugs that people take that are wrong for your body um what alcohol does to you these kind of things but the holy spirit will stop you he will stop you from doing these destructive things or creating evil out of something that god made for good okay so the holy spirit is here given to us he came on the pentecost but what he did was he had to rever he had to come in a way where it would everyone would know it was him so in babel god had to come down and stop the unity because it was what they believed was that they were going to re they were going to re they knew how to usurp laws and and predict things because lucifer when he felt when satan fell and they they didn't have the the understanding of the times and the seasons and so they didn't know he didn't know what was going to happen next so that's why you see him trying to guess and who was in the womb trying to guess at what god's doing so he's always behind he's always behind the curve and so he has to do things preemptively to see if he can push a position so that's what happened with with different uh different times where you thought the antichrist was coming in different times because those people you know everybody's adding up everybody's name to see if it comes to 666 because but yet how many people's names did add up to 666 since nero you know and um new math old math you know you can make it work you know but did it happen no it didn't happen why because the one who prevents the son of perdition from being revealed is present and stops that individual from coming forth until it's time so the holy spirit when he came on the day of pentecost he was reversing what god did in babel because in babel they were about to succeed and god said this statement he said this statement and he said he said this statement he said if we don't go down there and stop them whatever they imagine whatever they image they're going to be able to do so god came down and stopped it why because they would have done the evil that they plan in their heart obviously it wasn't right what they were doing with that tower and you know i i i have my insight in what was being done there and you know you can see evidence of this all over the earth if you do some studies and ask some questions you can figure out what was going on and that's because there's a lot of laws that are are classified and they're there you can do studies about about tesla and you can find out what i'm talking about you can find out what tesla found out and when you find out what happened with him that there he had come across other things other power sources other ways of actually wirelessly transferring electricity and this was back this this guy from romania was amazing he did all kinds of studies with with uh different different signals and resonance and different uh different uh frequencies things like that that because he he was he was god was using him to unveil things but he did not want him to be used for evil okay so this happened at babel so you can do your studies you can find this out so on the day of pentecost when the holy spirit came he was the spirit of truth okay so he's promoting truth so if the church has the truth has the holy spirit and he came on the day of pentecost then what is left that we need what's the in the formula it would be unity okay so on the day of pentecost it says they were in one okay that means unity they were one cord and they had they were in agreement and 120 became a very powerful catalyst for what we're experiencing today okay so that's the history that i wanted to go over with you with the holy spirit jesus was saying listen back then they were like hey is it the end times coming like you said you know but he had already told them in in matthew 24 he said that he said the gospel will be preached throughout the whole world and then the end shall come it's the same with thessalonica if you read the two letters that paul wrote there you're going to be well briefed on what has to happen before the end times come like we call it okay with that being said listen you know this this could be the generation i'm not saying it's not what i'm trying to tell you is this has happened many times before and the disciples and the the people that are here in the book of acts where luke was writing they were about to miss it again and jesus had already went there with him a couple times while he was alive now he's alive with them for extra credit 40 days and they have to bring it up again you know when are you going to drive rome out you know you know you know peter was ecstatic on the on the mount of trans figuration because he thought oh man okay it's going to happen because elijah's here now moses man and we're going to set them up as vice president and um and and um elijah will be the uh you know the head of the church and you know we got to get some tents for them you know hey you guys we got to get food for them you know this is going to happen in their minds they're trying to interpret what's going on there but as as we know it nothing came of that it was like actually like jesus went down there and they were actually arguing because the other nine couldn't even cast out the devil out of a you know they were down there fighting and the three that came down with them they didn't offer to help jesus so jesus had to do it himself you know and they had just been on the on the mount with with jesus in the transfiguration so now we have this this experience that happened on the day of pentecost and it's interesting because it seems like all we all certain people talk about is the tongues part of it you know the language part of it but that was just one manifestation there was actually i i count i count a lot more than most people do i count the unity the one accord as a manifestation of the holy spirit um because they were one accord that day which the holy spirit had to make a place for them to rest for him to rest on and so it was one accord one accord did i mention one according okay so in unity in unity unity that day was the catalyst it was the platform for the holy spirit to come number two was there was a mighty rushing wind and that means that the wind of the spirit jesus blew on his disciples one day and he said receive the holy spirit so he was saying listen the breath that comes out of my mouth that's the same spirit that's gonna baptize you that's the holy spirit my spirit is the holy spirit whoa i felt that okay so jesus was setting them up right okay so the spirit of god came and when he came there was also fire there wasn't just wind there was fire well we know that jesus was uh when he came john said he's going to baptize with fire too so he's going to baptize with fire and the holy spirit i mentioned and so it's the holy spirit and fire okay so the holy spirit baptizes us but then there's there's also fire and fire is your friend fire is a very very healthy thing for you so the spirit of god was on the people there was fire on their heads i meant that showed that they had been ignited they were on fire okay there was the wind the breath of god there was also the fire okay they started to speak in another language so what does it mean to speak in tongues what does it mean to speak by the spirit what does it mean to pray in the spirit what does it mean to pray and yield to god to where miracles happen well what it means is is that you're not able to do anything without god without him you can do nothing that's what jesus said um okay first lesson students open open your notebooks and write this down without me you can do nothing class dismissed you know he could have just stopped right there but look at what they did they asked the same question over again about rome about uh when you're gonna set up your kingdom when he had already said you know the holy spirit's going to come and then the holy spirit comes and he said you got to go you got to go out you got to go from jerusalem to judea to samaria to the ends of the earth okay so 70 a.d comes and they're still there well what happened well you know they the rome just destroyed the city i mean right the the city was destroyed jesus said hey listen there's not going to be one stone left on another what like i thought you were going to restore israel i thought you were going to restore but he did say that he said in 70 a.d and so they should have dispersed if they were outside the city outside the country they they wouldn't have participated in that just something you know just something to think about okay so is the holy spirit really having his way today well if he is what will happen is you will be taken from where you are right now into another realm another way that is beyond your own imagination you can't you can't image it because god can only give that to you by his spirit so the holy spirit reveals the heart of god so he can give you what the father has in his possession he can give that to you that's what paul says in first corinthians chapter two so first corinthians chapter two the whole chapter it explains to you that without god spirit we can not know the heart of god but thanks go be to god that he has revealed it to us by his spirit so even though paul is saying he's quoting an old testament scripture that that says no eye has seen no ear has heard what god has for those who love him that's where we stop but there's a but there so you ought to you ought to like look at that and say okay but it has been revealed to us by his spirit and then paul starts to talk about the fact that the holy spirit knows the heart of god and will take the heart of god and and give it to man just like your spirit inside of you knows your thoughts your heart but it's hidden unless it's given out so like other people can't know your thoughts they can't know your heart except for your spirit within you knows it so your mind's thinking up here your spirit's like okay you just thought this you thought this no don't do that yes do this so your spirit is communicating back and forth and knows what you're thinking but the people beside you don't know that you're thinking about pizza or whatever and you're in church and you're thinking oh i just can't wait for lunch you know and it's like your spirit saying hey you need to listen to this word that's being spoken you know but see your your heart can hear your thoughts okay that's what paul's saying the spirit of god knows the thoughts of god knows everything about the father and it says that thanks be to god that through jesus christ we can know all these things the spirit gives this to us because of jesus going to the father and sending the holy spirit so we have the mind of christ we have the mind of christ it says that that's what paul said that is the absolute truth so when you're baptized in the holy spirit you are it's not that you are you're saved you're you're saved because you believe in your heart and you confess with your mouth that jesus christ is is is uh lord and risen from the dead and it says that you confess that with your mouth you shall be saved so you confess jesus as your savior and that you believe that he was raised from the dead and that confession publicly causes you to be born again so you have to confess that you have to say that i said it out loud then i found a church i went to the yellow pages i found well like whatever that would be white pages yellow pages at the time they had a they had these books called yellow pages and i looked up a church that said spirit filled or or born again and i found a church in my city that believed in the born-again experience because i just got born again in my in my room by myself and i needed i felt like i had to confess publicly that i was a christian now so i found a church and i went i went i called them they said well we usually don't have church this night but we're having a guest speaker in so yeah you can come so i go well i don't i don't i don't really want to do the service i just need to confess to everybody that i'm a christian and and then i'll be on my way you know they thought that was funny i'm sure but i i just in my mind i got to confess it publicly you know i got to tell people so when you do that you're saved so i did that i i confessed that i was saved and then they told me well now you need to be baptized in the holy spirit with power and i'm like okay yeah i'll take that but like what's that for because i just i have the holy spirit because i'm saved and they said no this is you know this is what the bible teaches because many times in the book of acts they they they received they had received the lord but then when they that people would come they would say have you received the holy spirit and they said well we didn't know that there was a holy spirit to receive or we would have and so they they would get baptized in holy spirit and every time every time in the book of acts that people were baptized in the holy spirit every time except one time but it's inferred there but every time they started speaking in tongues except for one time where it was inferred that they did that but it does not actually say they began to speak in in other tongues but every other time in the bible it they they that was the initial evidence the infilling of the holy spirit it's very important that you hear this so what is it what is it that you don't understand it might be that the same holy spirit that causes you to be born again is the same holy spirit that jesus said wait for so that you can be endued with power from on high it's a different experience because those all were believers that the 120 were believers that were instructed by jesus himself is that not true okay so it's a secondary experience receiving power from on high the holy spirit jesus said is going to come upon you and you are going to receive power which means ability efficiency and might when the holy spirit comes upon you and why what will happen you're going to be witnesses okay so you're going to testify of him with power you're going to be effective okay this was after they got saved okay so i got that established all right so now now we get into you know some of the things i want to talk about interesting that speaking in tongues was also a way to magnify god so speaking in tongues was not just uh what what receiving power from on high it says in in acts 10 45 and 46 it says that that they they spoke in tongues and magnified god okay so they they were actually worshiping god speaking in tongues it's and so also in john 14 16 and 17 it's it says that the holy spirit's presence helps us stay conscious that stays conscious of his indwelling so the holy spirit's indwelling is conscious that speaking in tongues actually causes us to to realize that the holy spirit is within us so speaking in tongues when you fulfill romans 8 verse 26 where it says that when you don't know how you should pray you it says that you should yield to the holy spirit and that you'll be able to go further by the holy spirit to where if you don't know how to pray or you don't know what you should say or do the spirit of god will give you utterance that is not in articulate speech it's not in your understanding but will cause you to pray out the very very will of god the mysteries of god so the holy speaking in tongues actually causes you to pray out the will of god so and also in jude 20 praying in the spirit builds you up in your most holy or most sanctified separate faith so it's it's your pure undefiled faith that is built up by praying in the spirit well well why would that work it's because pure faith faith that is of god is from heaven it's a gift but you've been given a gift of faith you know that right we all been given a gift of faith but we can build our faith up we can do that by being fully convinced of what god's word says okay so the holy spirit comes in in this in the baptism of the holy spirit he comes in and he causes you to pray out the mysteries and when you're praying out the mysteries and when you're praying out the truth when you're praying out the will of god but you don't understand what you're saying because it's it's what happened in the book of acts it's in another language it's not your own as a sign and a wonder that this is not you then then what happens is it stimulates it builds your faith up in it's the most holy faith it's so separate and holy because it's undefiled okay so you got that it's undefiled so the holy spirit is a holy spirit so it's going to make your faith undefiled it's going to his presence inside of you is going to cause him to want to pray through you the perfect will of god and it's also going to magnify god you're going to worship god in in a in an unknown tongue in an unknown language okay and then this last thing i want to go over just just so so you know that that isaiah prophesied in isaiah 28 verses 11 12 prophesied that tongues gives us a spiritual refreshing that would come so there's a refreshing that comes there's times of refreshing coming from the lord and isaiah prophesied this and you can look these verses up because i just want to get into some of the things tonight about yielding to prayer in the holy spirit i wanted to build you up and show you the holy spirit how he was introduced by jesus and how he wants he wants you to receive him as a separate experience so when i was saved and when you were saved the holy spirit came in and make you made you new so that means that you were you were something else before you got saved because it clearly says this in in second corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 it says that that you are a new creature in christ a new creation a new species that's never existed before he said he said that the spirit of god comes in and makes you a new creation the old passes away and all behold everything becomes new this is the born-again experience that jesus was talking to nicodemus about in john 3. okay so you understand all that right because it's all basic for most of us and like i said you know um there's a choking point with religious people where they don't want any they don't want anything to do with praying in tongues because they've been told that that's not of god it's like but there are so many scriptures that say that that the holy spirit of course came and these were the manifestations and so it's all about evidence i mean if you're doing an investigation the evidence is what you're looking at and the evidence is that everywhere in the book of acts that i have all the scriptures that show that when the holy spirit came upon the people they began to speak in other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance okay so we know that that this is why we receive the holy spirit not just in the born again but we also receive him as a secondary a secondary thing called the day of pentecost experience pentecostal experience where the holy spirit comes upon you and you are baptized in the holy spirit which jesus told all the disciples and all the 120 to to wait for okay so when you speak in an unknown tongue when you yield to the spirit paul clearly says this and and uh i don't know how else to tell you this but the holy spirit has you if you're born again okay he has you but does how much how much of your of it of your tongue does he have because the tongue is a rudder according to james james says that the tongue can be an unruly member it's james says that it could be lit up by the fires of hell and do a whole bunch of destruction or it could be used to to steer a ship wherever you want to go you could bless people with your tongue and you can curse people with your tongue jesus said whatever you bind is going to be bound if you speak to this mountain it's going to be removed if you say this tree go it's going to go this is this is the power of the tongue but james said listen this little member can can guide your life just like a small rudder on a ship a large ship can can steer a whole that big ship just a small rudder in comparison to the size of the hull of a ship okay so your tongue is very powerful so jesus really really doesn't want us to to speak idol words he said you'll be held accountable for every idol word that you speak and that was in matthew 12 36 but here paul says in first corinthians he says when someone speaks in an unknown tongues in 14 chapter 14 verse 2 it says he speaks in a tongue he speaks not to men but to god for no one understands him but he utters mysteries in the spirit okay so right then and there when i was told this by the the the people that that were around me when i got born again they showed me all these scriptures and that's why i'm doing this for you they convinced me that this is what the bible says now the apostle paul is speaking to the corinthians there and he's saying listen this this is how this is how you talk to god you talk to him in unknown tongues you yield to the spirit and you utter mysteries in the spirit and this matches first corinthians chapter 2 which says that a spiritual person makes judgments or discernments about all things but he himself is not subject to any carnal man's judgment any other man's judgment that doesn't understand the spirit because it says that the spirit of god is not accepted by the world so the holy spirit is not understood or accepted by the world so how could a carnal or a worldly person make a judgment about a spiritual person because they they wouldn't be able to correctly do it because they don't accept the holy spirit so they don't understand spiritual things so a spiritual person can make judgments or discernments about spiritual things but a carnal person can't so that's what paul is saying is is that is that we we are not subject to the world's judgment about spiritual things okay so with that being said if you're speaking to in tongues you're speaking unto god right okay so that makes total sense about romans 8 28 is is in prayer i mean you want to spend most of your time yielding to the spirit and speaking by the spirit now your mind is not fruitful it doesn't understand so when you speak speak uh to in the tongues you're speaking to god it says no one understands you that you the other translation like the king james says you know your mind is not fruitful in other words your mind doesn't participate in that spiritual experience okay so that's a real bummer for most people who want to be entertained you know so what happens is is it's a spiritual exercise that involves your physical tongue so how do you sell that how do you sell okay uh you're going to do this but it's not going to like you know you're not you're you're it's not going to you know there's there's there's nothing that you're going to get out of this in your mind yeah well if if if everything about this world system is based on entertainment and keep you know like if you know we've got we got 40 year old kids that have to be entertained all the time you know like how do you keep oh it's been two minutes we've got to change the subject you've got you know and what happens is you got 40 year olds or 50 year olds that like always got to be like okay uh can we get some graphics here you know maybe a cartoon here like i need i need some input here i'm getting bored you know and that's what the world has done the world has caused us to have to have all this this input and um you know why was it that we were able as kids to watch black and white i never complained and now i can't stand to watch gilligan's island and all those and when it's black and white like now it's color you know like thank god you know wizard of oz they put they put in color you know i was like oh okay but see the thing was you didn't know that there was anything else until that came so we it's always going to be this way we're always going to have something better we're always going to be wanting to have the next thing we're going to we have 3d we want to have 8d we want to have we had high definition now we can have 8d instead of four or four 8k instead of 4k and you know it's always going to be that way there's going to be a bigger monitor a bigger computer there's going to be a bigger phone um there's going to be a faster everything it's always going to be that way okay but isn't it interesting that to try to convince somebody that you need to pray in tongues as much as possible like paul said i pray in tongues more than you all well he was an apostle too and he did more for god in his time in his life than most people i mean he wrote a lot of the new testament and between him and luke man they were like in competition for like you know how much they could write for the new testament so you got luke and paul like writing all the time okay but they prayed in tongues more than y'all but it's hard isn't it to tell people like okay your mind is not going to participate in this it's like oh okay well i'll do a couple minutes and it's like because why because we satan has tried to convince us that we have to be have like input on our mind okay so how you yield to the spirit in prayer is you got to realize that he is a person he's not a thing and what he does is not a thing he is leading you into all truth if he's leading you all truth and he is the spirit of truth then what i want for the whole world what i want for all you believers all over the world is i want you to yield to the spirit and pray in the spirit because he's the spirit of truth he's going to lead you into all truth jesus said guaranteed it's a guaranteed that if you yield to the spirit of truth he's a person that loves you wants to take your hand and usher you into the truth with that truth you might not have all the understanding of that because god is not some somebody that you can understand in a six-week course he's not somebody you're going to understand in this lifetime and every time you think you know him he's going to show you something about him that is going to totally have to have you readjust because there's lots more to god than what we're being known but we know god by the spirit of god so we have all the help we need if we're willing to yield to him so the spirit of god is a person he's here right now he's inside of you doing flip-flops he's doing jumping he's like so excited inside of you right now because he is he is wanting to help us he's a helper so you know people that always want to help it's like okay i already did that but they like they want to okay i'll redo it you know it's like they're helpers you know that's what they do it's just like a pet a pet is happier to see you than most people are are happy to see you because they they unconditionally love you so uh you know you can have a bad day and then a pet will be waiting for you and they have they like you know i they just adore you they're they're just so excited that you're home and you're thinking well if we can just get people to be that you know you know what i mean because but but um what it is the holy spirit is like that he's always wanting to he always has secrets and and i'm telling you by the power of god i'm telling you by the spirit of god if you knew the holy spirit like we're supposed to you would ask him and he would give you he would give you water that would never make you thirst again he would give you a revelation where you would never be able to to comprehend you would sit there i've seen things that i'm still i still don't understand i still don't know i don't know what i saw i've told the lord i said lord i don't know what you just showed me but i am undone because and i'll just tell you what it was uh you know years and years ago i was taken to a place that i don't even know where was i can't tell you when it was where it was but i was shown that i have no limitations it was literally shown there's no limitations on there's nothing inside of me that is limiting me it's my body and it's my mind and i saw that i'm going to live forever that i'm an ambassador for the lord and i was in this place i can't i can't even explain it to you and in a flash i saw that there was no limitations placed on me that the holy spirit if he had his way there would never be a barrier that i couldn't bust through there'd be never be a situation where i couldn't overcome i saw that i can do anything through him who loves me jesus christ i saw that the blood would never be exhausted i saw his name can never be used enough i saw that i could ask ask ask it wouldn't dim the lights in heaven one single bit they wouldn't have to go to emergency power because i was asking for too much that would never happen i would never get a warning you're you're you're about to use all your minutes on your phone you're like like like god doesn't send you a warning okay you've only got this many minutes left in your month on your contract on your phone so you know just be aware there's three days left in this month and you just about maxed out your data and your no i don't you don't get those things from god i saw all this in a flash and i was brought back and this was every now and then i'll be praying in the spirit and i'll go there and i'll think okay and i'll look i'll measure everything up with what's going on in the world today and all the situations that you see and you think you've got to be kidding me this this can't be made up but yet this doesn't even seem real and you measure it up to eternity and you realize that this is nothing in compared to in comparison to eternity this is not even a speck of dust in comparison to eternity and i just start laughing and i kind of feel like that right now like i just want to laugh because i was shown he he said he actually showed me there was a situation many years ago when kathy and i were first married we we were at a church and uh this this this thing just tore the church apart it was it was a terrible thing and we watched the church just get torn apart by a situation where satan came in and i was like so overburdened by it that that i couldn't stop praying in the spirit and all of a sudden i was taken to this place that i'm talking about that i don't know where i just don't unders it was a vantage point and um the whole church was a beautiful church uh complex was on a head of a pin and it was god's hand and it was on the head of a pin and the lord said this is what this problem is in in comparison to eternity it's nothing it's nothing and you know we made it we made it through that we we we saw many people uh get hurt and the situation you know we've all been through these things so but the holy spirit was wanting me to see it from god's perspective and this is what happens when you pray in the spirit when you pray in the spirit you're taken to advantage point where you can see things from god's perspective and then you realize that hey listen in in um in eternity when you look at eternity you realize um i'm doing fine i'm doing fine i got plenty of time because you know we're so hard on ourselves so when you yield to the spirit one of the things that's going to happen is you're going you're going to realize that your mind is not participating in it however at some point your spirit is going to be ignited and all your understanding i don't know how it happens i don't know if you can explain this better than me maybe you can but when your spirit gets ignited from praying in the spirit and i wish it would happen all the time but something happens to my mind where it just like opts out it's it gets a time out or something and all of a sudden my understanding is from my spirit my spirit being and not my mind anymore and all of a sudden i have no questions when i just a minute ago i had uh 61 000 questions and that's just the new testament you know it's not even the old testament and like all of a sudden there's no questions and i'm at peace and i'm like i'm too hard on myself and i'm thinking you know god loves me it's time to let god love me it's just time for him to let me love on me i i got plenty of time god is working in my life he's working in your life he's going to work this all out see this is what yielding to the spirit in prayer does is that it takes you to this place where your perspective is different and then you as you pray you're praying out the perfect prayers that has to do with eternity your eternal value and the people around you is in eternal value and then you start to see that listen god can change a nation in a day he can speak one word and change your life just like that he can do anything he wants if he has your permission but see praying in the spirit gets you to the place where i believe your will comes merged with his this happens because your spirit is alive unto god okay but your flesh is dead and paul said this that there's a war going on and that he says he said listen you have to take you have to put to death the misdeeds of the body the of the flesh by the spirit you have to you have to let the the framework or the mindset of the spirit overcome the mindset of the flesh so the law of the spirit of death is working in you the law of the spirit of death is working in your flesh because guess what the only enemy that we have not seen conquered is death that's the one enemy that has not been put under so our bodies they deteriorate but see paul said yeah but we're our spirits we're going from glory to glory like we're being ever being ignited and one day we're going to see him as he is we're going to see him as he is and we're going to also see that we're like him so we see through a glass dimly now but one day we're going to see him as he is well i have found this out when you pray in the spirit and you yield to him he will take you there to that vantage point where you realize listen i make it but i need to do some damage down here to the enemy and i need to let the holy spirit go ahead and announce the kingdom through my mouth my my tongue i need to be like jesus i need to preach on the kingdom while i'm down here i need to talk about the kingdom not the red dragon not the bowls of wrath not not um you know enough said so we we we allow the spirit to have our tongue well guess what speaking in tongues is a sign that god's got you if the spirit of god can take your tongue i think he's the captain of your ship he's got your rudder am i am i right like if he's got your tongue james says that's the that is the the tongue is the rudder that steers your whole life is that right okay so that's why i always say i only say where i'm going i speak where i'm going i speak my destination because it's it's it's so easy for me to understand that when i put my navigation if i do all my data into my database when i'm flying and i put i put in my destination it maps out my route for me and then the the the you know the agency that i i i follow the flight plan it's approved and then during flight i can ask for directs and shortcuts if it's possible and i can cut my time down and save fuel i can reroute and still get to my destination but there is a plan that's set so if i'm if i'm i have a goal to do something in life i that that coordinate is already in the database so like what is it that you feel like god's called you to do or is telling you to do well don't you know don't you think the holy spirit knows that exact destination and if we could think of it in a in a in terms where you know your gps you know like if you tell if you tell your phone like i you want to go here and um okay waiting for directions and then they give you directions and then they say okay it'll be 18 minutes and uh oh by the way they won't be open um for another 10 minutes but the route is going to take you this many minutes 18 minutes whatever so you're gonna be fine okay then along the way there's like instructions that are given to reroute based on data that's come up that might have you go in a different direction for a little bit because of something that happened that was a mishap that was something that wasn't planned but happened okay so you still get to your destination and you get there without having to sit through a traffic accident or a mishap well don't you think if like we always joke the bank the bank knows where you are in the world like it's funny we were in we were in france and kathy was buying buying me a jacket for the service that night and i was trying to pay my employees uh and uh because there were two things going on they like shut our account down they thought oh and um so i called them and i'm like hey you know she was well you know there's somebody using your card here and then you're in switzerland and you're you know like you were in switzerland now you're in france i go okay so you know i'm here yes mr zeta it's like so what's the problem well we had two transactions going on at the same time i go yeah because there's one account but there's two different cards and that's allowed they go well so they they knew where we were now they said you're gonna have to call your home branch to get this released i go in the united states so i go okay so i called my home branch and gave gave all the information to them anyway it got released but i'm thinking if my bank knows where i am do you think that god knows where i am and if if if god knows where i'm going do you think that he can tell me and and if he can tell me do you think that like he can reroute me so that i don't get in an accident or have mishaps or like um say like with me i don't know everything so like i don't i always know everything specifically about what i'm supposed to do but that didn't stop god from using me or or causing or causing someone to come to help me in a situation so what about the holy spirit if i don't know how to pray and i don't know everything if i would ask him to help me help her you know he's the helper oh he's like oh yeah this is what i do this is good he goes okay all right i'm i got this and i'm like so you just go ahead and yield to me so you yield to him and i'm like yeah but i don't unders i don't understand what i'm saying you know and like you know there's something else we can do it's like no no i got this you got to like you got to yield to me and so what happens is because there is no entertainment value there's no like mental fulfillment to praying in tongues and because we're so brainwashed and thinking oh i need entertainment i need popcorn hey talk to me tell me a joke i need to laugh i need to cry let's go see a bad movie sad movie i need to cry i need to release my emotions you know like it's like i have all these pent-up emotions like yeah that's because the holy spirit doesn't want you to yield to that you know you you can't crash and burn you know god doesn't want you to crash and burn now i understand you get you get things you got to let go of your information you got to let you know like all the things that you process you have to let go of those things you have to um release those things but do that amongst yourselves pray for each other talk to each other but don't don't go and turn to the world because you got to release emotions or you you know uh you you think you need something and this is why the holy spirit's so grieved this is why we don't see the miracles that we're supposed to be seeing this is why we don't see a lot of things happening it's because the holy spirit knows that we've chosen something else besides him to deliver us and how many of us would admit that we have we have planned b c d and e and in other countries where they don't have b c d and e they don't even have a hospital it's amazing how god heals more people there or uh isaac you know like like isaac in the bible is like they're all sitting around all the farmers like they're in famine and it's like they're like talking to isaac and it's like dude dude man we're done man isaac goes oh no no i'm i'm gonna i'm gonna go ahead and sew i've got plenty of seed now i'm gonna go and sew and they're like no man you like you waste your seed man it's like we're in famine no isaac says no he goes i got inside information well what was that incident inside information he had a covenant he had a covenant from his father his father was abraham he goes you know no me and me and my god have worked this out so he sewed in famine and reaped a hundredfold in famine okay so that's water going up a waterfall that's like everything going opposite and see that's that's where that's where we're supposed to be all the time when we pray we're expecting god not only to hear us but to answer us and to do what we've asked for because when we ask we believe that we receive before we get it and we are obedient we love him passionately we obey his commands and he said you can ask whichever you will just anything i mean if you check it out you can look at the original languages you can do word studies all night and when you get it all laid out ask whatever you desire anything is still whatever you desire anything yeah it doesn't matter like you can do homebrew not even hebrew and greek you do homebrew like you know in other words you just make it up you know you do your own study and still it comes out this is what god said there's no limitations at all no limitations at all the spirit has none he takes them all off see this is the idea and as you can feel it right now the fire okay the reason why is where the spirit of the lord is there's freedom and we're all experiencing that here we're having a move of god right now and the flames i can see i can see the flames in front of me it's just it's getting to the place where i just want it to be transferred to you because the spirit takes what is the father's and gives it unto us but when he gives it to us he gives us not only the information but he gives us the ability to perform it to do it to see it come to pass in our lives it's fire from the altar from another realm so when we pray in the spirit our mind is not taking any part in this our understanding is not fruitful because we're playing praying out mysteries but we're still praying them out they are still audible they're coming into this realm there's vibrations going forth there's words going forth and i was told that you need to pray in tongues even though you don't understand what you're saying because the people the entities that need to hear it are hearing it the people the personalities whether it be angelic or demonic whether it be uh god's god's spirit ready to perform you know it's amazing to me that the god spirit has been given to us jesus said you got to pray okay so okay we gotta pray so then he goes you know what don't worry about it i'm gonna bring you somebody that's the absolute expert prayer so i mean he requires us to pray then he gives us somebody who is the expert prayer not only that he goes you know what i got it from here you're like what you go i got it like okay so you want me to do nothing no please don't don't do anything i'll do it so then the holy spirit prays for you okay so not only does god require us to get to pray but then he sends us the master prayer and he teaches us how to yield to him and then he prays the perfect will god out through us now why would you want to argue about that why would you even want to like see but see the devil knows man if we get a bunch of christians doing that there's there's nothing we can do we can't stop them and that's the absolute truth so i i i know that i know that there's a lot of there's a lot of you out there that already know all this but i wanted to come and encourage you because yielding to the spirit is is more than just like something that we do at church or in worship or in even even um you know yielding yielding um in in prayer you know that is what i'm talking about here but you know to tell you the truth i yield to the to this holy spirit in prayer like right now i'm praying out of my spirit because i want to hear what the spirit wants me to say as i'm talking to you and so this is more about yielding to the spirit in every part of our lives at night you'll have dreams and visions during the day you'll have dreams and visions so whether you're awake or or not awake the holy spirit is wanting to show you things things to come that's what the scripture says you know you can't go against what scripture says jesus said that when he comes he's going to lead you into all the truth well that's really good because there's a lot of untruth out there okay he is going to remind you of things that that jesus had said that's what he said he also said that he's going to tell you things to come so if something happens on your route where you're rerouted you know that the holy spirit is actively coaching you and mentoring you and steering you but your mind does not comprehend it so you have to learn to live down here that's where the holy spirit dwells is in your spirit and so people are going to fight this religious people are going to fight this why because they can't control a spirit-filled person they can't control somebody who believes in miracles religious people have no control over someone who is a sheep that just flat out is going to hand themselves over to the spirit of god and let the spirit pray through them okay so many of you as i've been talking are being healed and and this is because the holy spirit is the same person that rose jesus from the dead and he's inside of you so as i've been talking you know i've been talking to you about praying in the spirit yielding the spirit prayed in tongues well one of the things that happens when the holy spirit shows up is he touches your body you know in the process of touching your spirit and causing your mind to become clear and holy spirit he takes what's of the father and he brings it up into your understanding then your spiritual eyes and your spiritual ears are open but then all of a sudden you're operating in that and you can understand things clear and then the touch happens the same power that rose jesus from the dead it's uh it it starts to touch your body okay now this is supposed to really like the scholars will say well you know that's talking about the resurrection you know the the same spirit that rose jesus from the dead is going to quicken your mortal body you know and it's like well yeah mortal is true it's dying and that's happening like daily so i think i'll let him touch me now too i'm not gonna wait for the resurrection of the dead you know i'm gonna i'm gonna like i'm gonna take a sip i'm gonna let my body like get some healing you know so that's what's happening the holy spirit will start to touch your body and heal you this happens all the time i i've seen i've seen god heal people we weren't even talking about healing i've seen devils leave people when we weren't talking about devils and deliverance and why because it got too hot and the devil says you know what i'm done yeah i'm done i'm out okay like and they eject you know and it's like okay you know you know where the door is you know you go okay so in including in just these last few minutes i want to go over a couple more things with you we have talked about how the spirit in our weakness not in our strength comes in and picks us up and super intercedes for us this is in romans 8 26 but we remember we don't know how we should pray sometimes but the spirit knows all things because he knows the mind of god like we've talked about in first corinthians chapter 2. okay so he intercedes with us with groanings that are actually too deep for words so it'll appear at times even to be groanings but you know it's too late because i have already spoken in tongues and people that spoke the language that i was speaking in tongues heard me and was able to tell me what i was saying i was fluently speaking other languages that i don't know so it's too late for you to tell me that i that this is not true we know that there are many known languages and and even it could be a tongue of an angel as paul said even if you in the love chapter 13 he said even if you can speak the tongues of men and of angels and you don't have love you know he said you're nothing you're like a tinkling symbol okay first corinthians chapter 14 verses verses uh i'm just going to read of the first couple verses paul says this pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts especially that you may prophesy for one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to god but for for no one understands but he utters mysteries in the spirit and that's what we've already read but but paul's saying listen desire that you would prophesy so that you can you can utter in in the language of those hearing it so that they can understand in a corporate setting i wanted to go over this tonight and then we'll get into the rest of this tomorrow night because this is one of the sticking points people don't understand that in a corporate setting there is a gift of tongues that is one of the nine gifts of the spirit however in the book of acts the initial evidence was speaking in tongues this was not this was not a demonstration of the gift of tongues or the gift of interpretation that paul is talking about this is for a corporate setting in the church so in the church paul's saying i'd rather you prophesy because then everybody in there would be able to understand what god is saying he said if you speak in nano tongue you understand in your spirit you're built up but you don't understand in your head what god's saying so when you speak by the spirit in a public setting he said i would rather you prophesy than speak in a tongue because because the people that are there wouldn't know what you were saying but you're speaking to yourself and to god okay so there is the the initial evidence of the speaking uh and praying in tongues which is given to you as a sign that the indwelling of the spirit is there now that's the baptism of the spirit of course because when we're born again not everybody speaks in tongues this is an initial evidence of the second thing that happens at the day of pentecost okay so paul is saying listen when one prophesies to people he speaks to people it's for the upbeat encouragement and consolation of the people the one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself okay so that is the what what jude is saying building yourself up in the most holy of faith praying in the spirit okay so when you when you when you prophesy in a public setting you're building up the church but if you pray in tongues you are building yourself up and unless paul said unless there is someone there that can interpret your tongues so that they could tell the people what you're saying do you get it okay so it's a there's there's these this is one of the biggest questions that i get besides is tongues for today and uh what i've just gone over you i've answered a whole bunch of questions but that's why i focus on just these few scriptures first but here at the end i want to tell you that paul wanted us to prophesy more than anything because it builds up the church but if you are praying in the spirit to yourself there's no one else you don't understand what you're saying and there no one else is there to hear it so you know you you don't have to interpret your tongues you don't have to have somebody say it out in english or whatever country you're from so you you understand what i'm saying that when you pray in a tongue unknown you're praying to god that is a personal prayer language that you're given when you're baptized the holy spirit that's what paul says i pray in tongues more than you all but he said in a public setting i would rather you prophesy so that the whole body is built up so that's why when i pray in tongues in a public setting i pray that i can interpret so i can say in english and you'll hear me say phrases i'm just getting a partial interpretation of what i'm saying because i can i can understand some things that i'm saying i have that i can do both i can speak in tongues and and interpret i have both gifts i can pray in the tongues and interpret so like in a public setting i can speak out in tongues and if no one interprets it i can interpret it and i will just turn around i'll wait someone else doesn't have it i will give it out i will give the interpretation if someone speaks in tongues and no one interprets it i'll stand up and interpret it because that gift is inside of me but see the spirit gives severally as he wills those gifts according to paul it's severally as he wills not as you will i just happen to have those two gifts so i wanted to encourage you all to pray in tongues more than than paul does because paul said i pray in tongues more than y'all but he said in the church i would rather you speak some intelligible words that are understood by the listeners he said because you might have some unbelievers in there in the back row rolling their eyes at you like these people are crazy because they're talking in this other language and they don't know what you're saying but heaps paul said if you prophesy or if you interpret your tongues and mysteries are revealed and they reveals the heart of the person then they're going to say surely god is among you because there's no way you could have known that yeah so you understand what i'm saying is the the spirit has his way of doing things his mode okay so when they were filled with the holy spirit in acts 2 4 they began to speak in other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance okay so we're going to end with that and um i know this has helped you and we've got a whole bunch more scriptures i've got at least another i'd say 70 or 80 scriptures and i got through about five of them so so but i want to i want to help you understand what the spirit has is saying to us right now that is is that jesus was questioned over and over again when is rome when are you going to deal with rome when are you going to deal with the governments what are you going to deal with um this pending messiah you know that you claim to be this this uh this new rule this new king over israel you know when what are you going to deal with that they still at at the appearance of him for 40 days supernaturally they still wanted to know are you going to do this is this going to happen and immediately he said you're going to receive power from on high and he also said this is not for you to know this is only for my father to know these times and seasons okay so let's let's yield to the spirit let's pray in the spirit and let's pray that we can interpret let's pray that we can gain understanding from what we pray so when you pray in the spirit you have to set yourself apart now listen all i'm asking you to do is ten minutes a day and it'll build to an hour it'll build to three hours and you're saying you know there's no way i could do three hours you know with my kids and all my job and everything well you know i thought that too but the lord made a way somehow made a way for me and it made a way for all of us to do more and more and more i mean there's people at this table that i knew years ago years and years ago i mean i'm talking like 10 probably 10 years ago that that we were in meetings didn't even know them that are at this table right now where we walked and we prayed in tongues for two hours three hours sometimes all day and and and would show up in a group of people went from like five or ten to thirty maybe um at times more than that praying in the spirit and they're at this table right now and i didn't know them and we prayed in tongues for hours and we liked it so much it was like once a week let's do it twice a week you know and so we would meet at this church and we would do that and then there were times we're like let's just hit it all weekend you know let's do 30 hours you know i remember these ones where we were just like um and um you know and all the i mean all those people i mean i look at all those people that were there they've all been launched they're all doing amazing things for god and you know it was kind of funny because we didn't know what else to do at the time we didn't we didn't have anything else but we knew how to pray in tongues and um they're at this table right now and there's people all there there's people in different states that i know that we all started all our ministries started in that that upper room praying in tongues and we used to like have one direction we would walk in and we would just like pray and pray we did that for hours and rachel you were one of those people that was there and um and i think about the fact that what we were praying was what we're experiencing today we're experiencing this this explosion of god of god's move on this earth so i want to pray for you but i want to encourage you that the spirit of god is saying some things he's saying i want to blow on you i want to cause unity to come upon upon you and your family and your church i want to blow on you i want fire to come upon you i want to baptize you with with the fire and the holy spirit said i want to talk through you i want to speak through you mysteries to god and then he's he's he says i want to fill you with the new wine of the spirit he wants to fill you so that you're not on drunk on wine but you're full of the holy spirit the holy spirit singing to one another making melody in your hearts singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and making that melody in your heart to the lord you know this is that this is that what was spoken from the prophet joel you know this is beyond this is beyond that's what jesus was trying to tell the disciples listen listen you need to receive this power from on high don't don't leave jerusalem until you receive it he did he wouldn't address the the drama of the day in the government he just wanted he wanted the disciples to receive that power and um i'm telling you by the spirit of god there's so many of you are going to receive boldness right now in the name of jesus receive boldness to proclaim the gospel and um the lord is setting you on fire there's flames of fire he's breathing on you you're becoming hot the lord the lord is announcing to to you that he has begun to move upon you he's begun to get you ready to be a participant in what he's doing on the earth and god is not slack concerning his promises he has not forgotten and he will not leave any of us but he is willing all those who fear him and love him he will withhold no good thing from them and the move of the spirit of god has begun and the harvest is coming in so prophesy prophesy to your world prophesy to your children prophesied here to your family prophesy to your neighbors to your co-workers tell tell them that thus saith the lord i'm with you in a mighty way just turn and repent of your sins and come in and i will cause you to triumph over your enemies that's the message of the gospel you drive out those devils you lay hands on the sick you raise the dead lord said are you fully convinced are you fully convinced that i'm holy because i'm telling you you be holy as i am holy you speak from the fire like i speak from the fire you be imitators of your father god as dearly loved children the lord's just saying that he's just saying he say it it's time it's time to be imitators of god hallelujah lord i thank you i could just see this i see i can see that the cloud of witness is rejoicing i mean i can just almost see stephen just jumping for joy saying it's worth it it's worth it prophesy prophesy let god do miracles through you hallelujah father i just thank you for any child that's sick right now all the mothers are praying for their children i just break i just break the power of the enemy i drive out sickness out of children right now in the name of jesus i command kidneys to to start to function and and and there's people all over the world that have kidney problems i command those uh kidneys to to start to function correctly in jesus name blood pressure high blood pressure i command you to come down in jesus name all kinds of problems with your blood and things that has to do with your pancreas i command that the sugar level in your blood to come into normal being i command your pancreas to work correctly in jesus name i command brain fog to leave in jesus name thank you holy spirit for giving revelation now take take the people over the world take your people all over the world take them to that place where there's no limitations and that show them in eternity's perspective they're doing better than they think hallelujah the lord has wiped away your sin by the blood your past is gone and he's giving you a new start he's given you healing in your body he's giving you restoration just just thank him right now just thank him right now thank you father thank you for being faithful the move of god has begun fire i'm baptized in fire i'm baptized in fire oh holy spirit i'm baptized in the fire we're all baptized we're flames of fire we're ministering we're ministering spirits just like the angels we are ministers of fire too hallelujah we yield to the healing power of god we're we accept your healing right now i'm being healed the lord is touching me right now the lord is touching you right now receive your healing hallelujah reach out and take hold of that which christ has taken hold of for you that's what the spirit is saying yes the lord says he's saying more than enough i am more than enough i am more than enough exceedingly abundantly about what you could ask or think about [Laughter] who yeah fire fire thank you father thank you lord that we are sheep thank you that we are we thank you that we are wise virgins thank you lord that we made the cut we we passed our test hallelujah you see us through the other side of this as the blood-bought church the glorious church rising up the bride getting ready for the marriage supper of the lamb we're lord we're we're not only willing we're ready we we ask we call upon you to receive us hallelujah we're going to be married to the lamb we're going to be married hallelujah we are married to jesus we're going to celebrate we're going to celebrate with him hallelujah yes come lord jesus come hallelujah hallelujah oh wow thank you so we just received the fire and we thank you all of you joining us tonight share it with your friends get the impartation that's on this it's time it's time people it's time it's time to function in what the spirit of god is saying to the church we will not see our gates prevailed against by the gates of hell the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church these these glorious moments that we're in right now are for him and the holy spirit is so willing to take us there hallelujah spirits not let me go yet he's saying you know you're not rejected the lord has not rejected you if you've confessed your sins if you repented he has forgiven you he's cleansed you from all unrighteousness and provision will come for you he's a good father he's going to take care of his own we are his people the sheep of his pastor he is our pastor he is our he is our shepherd we are his people he's a good shepherd he takes care of his own hallelujah let the lord love on you let the holy spirit come and love on you it's just time to let them love you come with fire but come lord endows us with love overwhelm us with your love right now full acceptance hallelujah yes this is that this is that was prophesied by the prophet joel these last days all flesh will be poured out upon hallelujah we receive lord we receive that we need your help thank you for saving us thank you for baptizing us in the holy spirit thank you for healing us and delivering us and providing for us supernaturally hallelujah hallelujah we agree with everyone as they they voice their petitions to you right now over the world all the many countries that are represented right now we just agree with everyone that they'll receive they'll receive what they've asked for we agree it's touching these things everyone just voice your desire to the lord we agree with you right now supernatural unity supernatural breathe on everyone father oh lord you are so good you are so good you're too good it's hard lord it's hard to imagine it's hard to grasp you but please help us holy spirit please help us go to the next level with this hallelujah the lord is not going to stand by and let the enemy win the lord is a warrior and he will act yes he shall come forth i will not let this go on forever i will come with my righteousness i will come with my justice my people they shall see that i am god they will see that i am the one that not only created them but sustains them and sets them before me perfect you have nothing to worry about because i have gone to your future and i have sealed it up for you just believe just receive my love man the holy anointing of god is so strong receive the anointing right now receive that anointing so much there's so much arthritis being healed because the oil is is lubricating your joints so much stress is leaving you as you you give up on doing it yourself it's time for the comforter to come in and do it the helper he's wanting to help you holy spirit you're so real oh my gosh oh holy spirit you're so real oh we love you father well thank you so much for joining us just stay in this watch this as often as you can and and stay in this this outpouring the move of god has already begun and we are right in the middle of it all of us we we we love each other all over the world all all the believers all over the world we love each other we're in unity and we receive this this enablement from on high to to see the harvest come in just tell everybody about jesus tell everybody about the good news it's not in vain the lord has seen your faithfulness he is he has heard your prayers he's heard your prayers hallelujah amen well god bless you make sure you come back 6
