hey you'll pass Q on everybody and welcome back to another team a little cook-off not today guys I had to get the three healthiest guys in the cruise we're doing salads today the first contestant if he's not at the hills you might be in our basement doing bench off in his best friend jacob's basement doing this look we got to win my third cook-off in a row here because all and eat up next if you're not doing yoga if he's not in a virgin he's off getting cycles it's your boy come here right now comment down below before these bakers he's hey there Jim doing two of these you worked out twice yesterday all right Ryan Swayze baby swings sharper than a nice salads it's about who can make the best talent today let's not waste any time let's introduce our ingredients up first we have the green leaf lettuce we are red leaf lettuce here we got rolling lips we got baby spinach in the cut a healthy Bob we got some carrot shavings you know those little colors in there we got grape tomatoes we got lemons as well for a little garnish cucumbers both peppers you got avocados and half of we have Caesar dressing we have balsamic vinaigrette but also the ingredients to make your own salad dressing if you dare but as well we have a protein for your salads these guys have a choice between steep chicken and shrimp all right Johnny second that so I go free okay shut up ten degrees so Shawn is up first these guys here roasting Shawn if he messes up anything like that now is where I need you guys at home please provide me or your brain your smarts comment down below of you next food cook-off if you've seen every episode we've done like pretty much every food salad is one of the last ones that goes with Dave as well if you want to see a nutty model cook-off like within the next salad one fact about David parity he's allergic to steak I don't know what that means so thank god Shawn because I have no idea I also want to know who's cooked the most out of you because we don't know we don't know who want to get a nice little sizzle yikes wait wait holy okay see that's there yeah this isn't most my sounds are very one-dimensional but we have a bunch of different types of chef teach some cucumbers thinly sliced on small for the circular this gives you a little crunch the salad doesn't have too much crunch in it chef David what do you think of Sean so far it's all salad like cucumbers we got avocados both green so we're gonna add in some little cherry tomato laughs do you want you want a light bad like that the other chefs are judging you know judging cucumbers in now - okay jeez yo this salad actually so far looking pretty damn late it's not gonna be too complicated okay I'm not going for a complicated salad but I'm going for a solid enjoyable salad it's very early in the morning I'm starving so I actually wanna make go back and check on the stick I think it's ready potentially oh it's looking pretty nice nice look at ice things ready to go this is gonna sizzle this time okay we're over fixers oh you'll love it you love it that's looking good a very important aspect of this is the presentation right yes now this is the king of salads you may not know yet and you know why this thing is crowned the king of salads nice crowd so basically you're eating your salad oh this is good you dip it in take a bite of your care guys David paired he's not putting any of this out to waste he's burning full calories sean is cooking a steak getting it ready you need to get your won so who said the sweat ones falls off your body onto the ground good job buddy you have a good day bye folks you see the steak five take this off we're gonna let it sit for a little bit major key in the steak process please used to be a big steak I used to be what do you think of this takes place a really good steak to be honest yes how's Sean mixing his already mixed Oh the season tossing jazz salad is me there's a balsamic vinegar vinaigrette maple syrup lemon dressing that really tasted great but I'm not gonna use it because that's way too complicated what I'm gonna do instead is go with the Old Faithful creamy Caesar never play yourselves but you did have a valid point I should I should probably makes it so we're gonna do that now a little bit on you don't want too much we're trying to stay healthy aside from the weird horns coming out that's a sham banging licking salad Shawn's tossing over salads weasel out goose chase looking for this shrimp David hit a shrimp he's protecting his own guys Sean slicing it let's take a look inside folks this is the biggest for all my beautiful medium steak well not evenly cooked throughout get some salt in the hand Oh finishing it off with a little salt sprinkle I don't know there's any salt amount but oh there's David with this chicken chicken run but back over here we have all these bozos are playing I'm catching those beautiful layering his avocado another steak another W place is looking a little thick thick nothing wrong I love big everything beautiful is that it Oh licking its fingers its conformation folks confirmation on the lid ladies and gentlemen I present to you the king of salads chew or serve to me - II - guys this looks amazing let's try it out and we are back folks in the judges chair and wheezing place to be this house looks amazing you know what else looks amazing - what you look amazing better days by the way where's your chicken while they's looking for that go ahead and shine beautiful dese I want everything in this right let's try this out how's that taste Chad oh well that's nice get a little Caesar not too much it's very light you need to try the cherry tomatoes although a lot allows hoping chef Shawn with maybe chocolate area yeah what this cake all really good let me try but don't you're gonna spin it out that's just a waste of steak so use that perfect straight up Shawn phone is how he want to eat but I'm not taking away from others this is eight destroy this whole thing and a heart also guys from number readings we are going to do the whole number readings at the end I want to save who wins for the end and keep it a surprise but chef Shawn scored extremely well very good I wanted croutons but then I realized okay okay guys Shawn is going to polish off his steak salad but he's enjoying it you can tell it's amazing because he wouldn't be destroying you like years otherwise so it is very good up next we have the highest salad making person in muscat here chefs ways out on the table little tiny tiny disadvantage today because to those who know me only like shrimp salad the sounds out that's all I know that's all I don't so all this crunch I don't even know what to do it happily stuff but the star print all right chef Swayze baby baby men see how do you think too much char did amazing job getting all the Leafs so we're just gonna start with that chocolate illusion boom there you go just have a bunch I want some jam on some the chopping really doesn't this side right here but we're going to go another extra ingredients we have some nice garlic here adding some flavoring getting some garlic I actually most cook fast they're already done Oh some lemon garlic oh we have some pepper as well get in there pepper to me those Kashan if we don't want that big guys to me a little beautiful you don't want too much tomatoes are long you don't want food oh so you're purposely picking these smaller ones as well okay no yo watch out shaking up the crib before yo yo yo yo they've been up for one minute they're actually all of the one thing I'm gonna final cut one on with my advantage Sean also forgot a little Jesus oh I use a little pop a little cheese but you worked hard on your 9 to 5 job and that means it's not good for you want a Caesar parmesan is very classic Ryan you went for a Caesar salad Caesar salad only the shrimp we got the lemon with the garnish we have a bedding of great tomatoes on the outside oh my god Ryan I'm very excited to try this guys I want to use the lemon thank you so much thank you much sir chef Shawn feel me Dave's balsamic one avocado we have some seeds in here gonna have a little half tomato we gonna grab a little crouton they were in an Abba shrimp oh this is a complete bite what every single ingredient with a bit of lemon on it so what you thinking mm-hmm what you think you did I made that I don't think I ever ever got a dance hot it was cold oh it was sour it was sweet seeds were nice the seed nice Sean is a fan hunters vote for one of everything as well guys I'm not trying to get too full I would definitely destroy this out of love I just not a peace with it no absolutely you enjoyed it dude yeah the avocado in there and oh they've just gone for the avocado yo Jeff dave is very water the most cold you can get out of your faucet because does anyone know what's happening we're creating a nice little ice bath so we're gonna let that soak in the ice bath keep it cold and crispy saying you don't trust master chef Jeff I love to share you're wearing today thank you very much Wow that's how it looks really good at it oh my god he's a beautiful chicken restaurant here yes now the number-one rule you know how much salmonella poisoning is on it oh my gosh feel good the context not being saying don't actually wash your chicken because now you're spreading the Salmonella into the thing thank you now I have to thoroughly clean that out Dave is very conscious about as fast and we just want o cringe you don't want that and I know dad is a very very picky eater so we're gonna move on to the plastic bags you might be wondering why do any plastic bags well I'm very much so wondering am I gonna be doing a little chicken marinade make sure you double there the bags oh wow so we got the whoa my god is it a garlic shallots the right I did not know the house had garlic so this really does help my chicken out a lot we have very very important ingredient wish what were statistics years did you bring that from home yes chef Dave has done something no contestant has ever done before he's broadened an ingredient from home Worchester tire next things mean we're adding is teasing salt very important for chicken if you don't have seen this all in your chicken I don't know what you're saying one word when you cook it it's not going to taste that one so don't worry okay okay I like that you can never excusing your Romney too much right we and chef Brian did a big mistake when he did this lemon you always got to put your fingers like this to catch the seeds oh and you get just the juice Wow and the last ingredient because we're doing a little Asian twist to this we go boys sauce not too much because there is thank smooshing yeah let that chicken marinate in there make sure it gets everywhere and we're gonna put this in the fridge let it rest up for the next 48 hours almost yeah Oh incredible you even added too much soy sauce like last time crazy now let's just see how this smells after your case all that forty hours of marinating smell that Asian zing oh my it smells like one total like before it was seven ingredients now it's just one ingredient so my competitors used oil I will be switching it up and using butter for your chicken or my spinach because we are gonna be getting a nice layer of this the thing about spinach is you can use a lot it freaking shrinks up like 80 times its size so don't worry Oh chef this really is an Asian salad already it smells nice yeah it's already cooking down oh no that actually looks like a nice little lit garnish and it's way more green have you noticed that oh here's some footsteps in the distance my friends oh oh they're back with you oh [Laughter] oh chef David's marinade of chicken actually looks amazing David is not addressing any haters today Oh make it chicken cook quick oh my god that's actually very smart focus the camera onto this label right here yes wash before use come over here and give it a nice that chicken is now sizzling up his eyes are getting cooked make sure it cakes that oh my god it smells amazing by the way chef David it's a lot less saucy on the evaporator and this is when you add just a teaspoon of barbecue sauce because if you did that before it would have burnt off oh that was just a glaze at the end what I'm trying to do my salad is to reach it umami guys there will be a Tokyo 2020 just for those wondering oh my goodness let me look at that chicken look at that oh my I could see the Greens the halfway point skies definitely got the best quality chicken you already got a Kim chef Jack so are you happy with that chicken so juicy oh my under now we are not using a knife to chop it you're grabbing our lettuce and we are simply holding it up bigger now this is a thing I see what is this the top gear that your cook-off Bongo chef Marlo yeah he almost wrists a finger loss every single time I watch the videos always cut with your knuckles this is where Lavaca rube comes into play me personally I would make a nice Glock put it open the chicken I'm just gonna go with a nice little dice but we're also gonna go the other side to you to make a little bit of it's weird chef Dave is showing off some confidence with the night okay so we got some nice advice yes cubed beautifully cubed Cotto's and we're gonna add the chicken on now as you can see the chicken is flying off of the plate creating an umami flavor salad you're just gonna add that around here as a little boner ah border we have a nice border Oh beautiful you guard the chicken is every on every bite and add our diced avocado right over it oh my god amazing as you can put this in the fridge and let it through drain for 48 hours good thing I have one all right oh my yo this is how you chop a pepper quick do you like pepper chef I love every cup chef Dave time to add the Parmesan cheese ladies and gentlemen we're coming home to the homestretch right now last but not least we got our lemon oh Jesus guys at home please don't use a knife that way little chisel oh I see nice little cracked black pepper oh and there you go you don't know dressing is needed no the dressing is needed okay so the final set we might use a little bit of balsamic vinegar beautiful ladies and gentlemen this is the umami salad courtesy of the impunity chef a one-star review rush okay this is being weird ladies you know these are chicken oh yeah telling you you don't need dressing in my salad spinach that balsamic was forced oh my god he's being aggressive like I was aggressive too I like it okay this is one of everything please enjoy and watch dad's face enter umami this bowl which is beautiful because the chickens a little bit of hot so that hot fold the avocado is very flavored you taste the lemon thanks a lot of the juiciness from the three dough this is very well balanced that balance we're looking for the salad it's there the baby spinach you try the chicken not bought the chicken is really good yeah here's the thing the chicken is perfectly cooked you know when chicken is like to harden like rubber ears or that's not like I'm gonna bite it and it's just you know what you want okay nothing moved will you do it it's good though it is good and you can you know what this might be the healthiest salad of them all mmm it's good it's really good all the salads have been eating my friends all the sounds have been judged let's figure out who our winner is let's give you guys please that was amazing amazing ladies and gentlemen there you have it that was the salad cook-off there could only be one winner of today's challenge but I will give one thing first every single salad scored overall above eight point five out of ten bruschetta I want to give to all right subscribe to his channel it was amazing I'm gonna give it a 8.5 out of 10 I feel like he could have went for 10 if he was making a salad to be judged by others but he was just very hungry you
