cheer you already knows your boy joe back at it again codingphase.com the lydia's live stream for developers what's really good kids what's poppin what's going on hey what up [Laughter] hopefully you guys are doing great you know me i'm doing amazing like always okay um we have been working on the practical javascript course on codingphase.com if you guys don't know okay if you are a member of codingphase.com you get access to all the programming courses in there okay so definitely go take that or you could just pre-order it 25 bucks okay um it's actually a pretty legit course we're teaching you everything that you need to know about javascript to be dangerous okay now everything under the sun from javascript but everything that you need to know to get a job and be dangerous with those skills okay be productive be somebody who people actually want to have in their team okay so yeah man that's what i've been working on and also today we're going to be starting to work on the next course which is going to be in parallel with the javascript course so i'm going to be doing the javascript course uh practical projects in there and then we're also gonna be teaching php eight okay php eight yeah we made it to number eight yeah man so we're we're gonna be doing that today okay uh but yeah i'm just here to answer whatever questions you guys might have any topics you guys want to talk about we here let's do it i'm live okay shout out to no name el matadan was good uh aj wheezy good morning joe good morning to you too man hopefully you're doing amazing just like your boy okay if you are live guys make sure that you uh subscribe to the channel okay if you've never been here before on another thing that i will say is make sure you follow me everywhere okay codingphase on twitter codyface on instagram face on youtube tick-tock everything everything that counts everything that matters i'm there right you can find me there somewhere okay uh let's see what's going on with the chat room okay uh a good question aj weasley says if you just got it your first job what will be the first three things you do in terms of getting finances in order and thinking ahead to side income okay uh good question buddy let me see if i can fix this right here uh there you go okay so what would i do to get my finances straight so the first thing that i would do is and this is what i recommend for everybody that just got their first developer job and is to basically pay off all of your debts okay don't do anything else besides paying your debts don't buy nothing i see people that get a 80 000 job and they're like oh i'm gonna buy a brand new car you don't need a brand new car if you got an old car it takes you from point a to point b that's fine for the next six months to eight months what you want to do is you want to take all of your income and pay off everything that you owe start fresh right and the reason why i say this is because this first job that you're gonna have is really to get your life in order once you have your life in order then from there you can go and start investing into other things like i want to you know open up a online store hey i want to do stocks right i want to jump into creating i don't know some type of software as a service company and you could do all of that in parallels but if you seen that you're spending a lot of money into that don't do it right whatever it is that you're trying to get into that you're going to spend a lot of money on don't get don't do it don't get into it all you have to do is pay off all of your debts and the reason why i say this is because you want to start fresh i know you're coming from a different background you could bring a lyft driver you could have been an uber driver you could have bring a freaking a guy on a truck or a guy packing up boxes at a warehouse you could have been a guy working on a re reese was a retail right or reselling something whatever right you're coming from a different class okay now you get into a higher class right you're getting paid a little bit more so what you want to do is take care of all of those things that you couldn't pay off back then pay it off now so that now you could go and live your new life free okay so that's the first thing that i would say for people to do um the second thing that i will say is basically jump into credit cards i know some people like credit cards yeah jump into credit cards bro uh if you live in the united states and probably most developed countries the world is revolving around credit okay you could earn eighty thousand dollars or a hundred thousand dollars but if you don't have credit a guy who has twenty five thousand dollars a year he basically got better things than you okay meaning like he could get a cell phone brand new right uh he could get a brand new car that's better than yours right uh he could go and get a better apartment than you he could go and buy a house more faster than you and the reason is because if you don't have credit right uh basically you're worthless that's just the truth right you're worthless in this society you need to have good credit okay anything above 700 you're good to go okay if you get to the 800s they throwing things at you okay you don't even have to go and apply for anything they just throw it at you okay so definitely fix your credit and then from there the third thing that i will say is invest in yourself right um invest in yourself and go and try to learn from people that have achieved the things that you want to achieve right if you want to become a senior developer and there's a guy who is a senior developer and has a really solid course i will invest in in that right because basically he already did what i'm trying to do right um if i want to get into niche websites i will go and invest in a guy that has done this so like that he could give me the shortcuts if i want to create a drop shipping store right maybe i'm a developer but i want to make some side income right by creating an online store you know what i'm going to find the guy that is a go-to guy and yes it might cost me a thousand dollars yes it might cost me two thousand dollars but that money is going to come back to you because the knowledge that you're gonna get at the end of the day is an investment that you're doing on yourself okay so if you don't invest in yourself nobody's ever gonna invest in you right and you can't really do anything without having knowledge okay so again we talked about paying debts we talked about uh getting credit and we talked about investing in yourself okay investing in knowledge for yourself so you can actually know what to do now that you have all of this opportunities in front of you okay so at the end of the day that's what you should want to do all right um let me see what else uh adam d now here's what junior don't understand i don't know what you're talking about uh if there are any videos to link me to that'd be cool uh we'll see depends on the topic uh difference between system engineer versus software engineer love to contact my guy um i mean to be honest i don't know i can't really i don't know about system engineer so i if i tell you something this is just me guessing right um systems engineer sounds more similar to uh it right in software is software it's programming creating applications that's my guess i don't know anything about systems engineer i know about software engineering i know about web development and that's it if you ask me about something else besides that i will be just bullshitting you you know what i mean uh let me see bro tripping what up uh dave e says basically don't listen to dave ramsey look i think dave ramsey gives some good advice to people who are really effed up right so people who don't know what the hell they're doing like i remember there was one time i was listening to his show and his show somebody sent them a question like hey uh dave so me and my husband were working full time at the same company and we basically were both getting paid a hundred thousand dollars each we just bought a house in vegas uh for four hundred thousand dollars we also have a a weekend home basically for six hundred thousand dollars in a lake in arizona somewhere right and i'm like wait arizona isn't arizona uh a desert state but i guess they have lakes somewhere so they're like yeah we just bought a home over there and um my my husband he just uh got let go of the company i i feel bad because i'm still working there but my husband now wants to buy an rv and i'm like that's like a clear sign like you don't know anything about finances like you just buying things to buy things to try to make yourself happy and it's like yeah you're making a whole bunch of bad decisions so dave ramsey's gonna tell you hey man sell that [ __ ] sell that [ __ ] get out of there get out of there and come back to zero right that's a good advice that he could give you uh but to not have credit or to not have credit cards is stupid not in not in 2021 that that [ __ ] is dumb you need all of those things right to be honest with you we we are very lucky that we have this type of society some people might say well we're always in debt we're always in business and that and yes we're always going to be in debt we're always going to have to work that's just the truth and you're always going to have to have some type of income coming in or you're going to have to have saved up a lot of money for your retirement right so you're always gonna have to work but imagine this there's people right now in africa you know freaking somewhere in asia somewhere in latin america where those people don't have access to all of the things that we have like right now if i want a phone i could easily go to t-mobile get myself a brand new phone that's 1400 right sign up and then all i have to do is pay 50 a month for this phone and my little [ __ ] service which could be 60 or even less than that right for the phone service now i got a 1400 uh you know device in my hand that i could do so much with this okay i could go on youtube i could learn i could go on applications do social media uh connect people to my businesses etc there's a million things that you could do with this 1400 phone now there's people in the world that don't have access to any type of credit because they're you know their countries are poor they are poor they don't have access to this um banks are scared to lend them things right so in reality we have it good right a lot of people think like here in the united states you are you have so much money and it's not true what happens is that here in the united states there's a economy that is set up for spending so every single time that you buy something somebody makes some type of money and even if they lend you something right they could still get their money back by having insurances and a whole bunch of other stuff that gets added in there it's like when you go to t-mobile and they say well we got no more contracts how do they make money right so they make a deal with apple they make a deal with samson and all those companies that say hey you guys are selling these phones for uh fourteen hundred dollars you know what we're gonna go and sell your phones and basically have a guarantee that we're gonna be able to sell your phone but we get to keep half so regardless even if you're paying for this on credit and even if you default it they already got paid half you're gonna say so the whole economy is set up like this okay even from buying a home to everything now in most countries they don't have access to these things so here in the us this is the blessing that we do have there's people that are homeless right now walking around with an iphone there's people right now that's homeless right now with nothing in their pocket but you know what they got some money on them right at the end of the day they got some money on them that could go and get some money somewhere they could go and work somewhere right they could even go have a credit card on them and still survive most people that's living in other countries they don't have that so you gotta learn how to use the system to work for you right there's things that you want in life that you're never gonna be able to pay for a cash right there's things that you're never gonna be able to pay for a cash period you wanna buy a house you can't pay pay for cash right and even if you do have the money to pay for a cash it will be stupid right it's like when i bought this house this house three hundred thirty thousand dollars that has this almost the same type of money that i had on my bank account i could have just went in and bought a cash but you know what i'm able to use uh a down payment and just pay it off over time right and then i could use that cash to invest in other things to make more money to come this way you know saying this is how the world works right so uh dave ramsey he gives you some advice for the people that's completely idiots right completely idiots guys who don't know how to work uh you know the system and the system is working done right so what he gives them is like hey man get out of there get out of there quick right and then that's what you're supposed to do because if you don't know how to play it's like somebody who goes to a casino right think of this the economy is like a casino if you go to a casino and you don't know how to play blackjack you don't know how to play crabs you don't know how to play uh roulette what do you think the casino's gonna do to you you're leaving out of there with zero dollars in your pocket now some dude that goes in there and knows how to play the games he could go in there and you know what he might double his money or maybe he'll make half of the money that he came in with right so as profit so that's how it is if you don't know how to work the game the game is going to work you so that's on you all right uh let me see what's good what's good hey shanji what up what up what up how's everything bro i got some people for you bro i got some people that they want to work with you they they trying to get like a design for a website so i'm gonna give them your email so if you don't mind me right it's clients i mean i know you don't you're not gonna mind it's money in your pocket don't like yeah you're gonna say like yo joe don't send to my email i don't want no money like nah i know you're not gonna mind right so i'm gonna send them your email so you could get some bread uh yeah definitely for sure for sure uh davey says uh yeah some people need dave ramsey like the guy who kept rolling over his loans and now oh 70k for honda civic yep or you know what or or the person who goes in and keeps on refinances the refinancing their home like that's crazy right so i'll give you an example right so um my house the the value of my home right has already gone up right um in less than a year probably about like fifty thousand dollars right now it's funny so many companies have been calling me up like crazy sending me letters sending me you know freaking emails i don't know how to get my info but they got it somewhere bro they sending me information they're like hey man your home is not worth 378 000 you bought it for 330 your loan is at 290 we will go in and refinance your home right refinance your home give you some some cash right for your home and then at the same time we'll just come in and give you a brand new loan for 370 something thousand right and i'm like bro why would i do that when i already paid about like 30 40 000 of the home already like why would i do that now somebody that's stupid will come in and be like oh yeah i'll do it and then not even realize that when you go and refinance your home in a situation like that what they do is they come in they're basically doing a new loan so they're coming in and charging you like a fifteen thousand dollars twenty thousand dollars just to set you up on the loan again so it's like yo you're about to lose fifteen twenty thousand dollars from the cash that you put into your home and they're gonna refinance it and give you back like another fifteen thousand dollars so you're losing half of the money that you already put in and some people don't even notice that some people like oh [ __ ] i could get some more cash from my home stupid you're starting your whole your whole loan from scratch at a higher rate where a lower interest rate but at a higher um loan which is people don't understand that they don't look at that right um but it's funny man that how how they be getting you right um yeah so it was just crazy like oh this company's hitting me up and i'm like wait hold on you're telling me you're gonna give me this much my home is is now worth this much it already went up and i know it's gonna go up even more by the end of the year so why would i refinance it right now plus you're gonna charge me uh you know almost twenty thousand dollars just to set me up on this new loan and you you're telling me you're doing me a favor they're like yo we're doing you a favor we're gonna give you like 15 000 cash and then from there we're gonna charge you twenty thousand dollars basically of what you already paid but we're gonna charge it to you like yo i don't know bro sometimes these people like it's just crazy this is how they get you man it's like that guy who you know goes and gets a honda civic and now ends up paying 70 000 for a [ __ ] honda civic like nah you got to know what you're doing yeah bro people be like yo we made 60k a year bought a fifty thousand dollar car what do we do joe uh i think dear plenty the banks are different um joe obama in the house yeah man uh let me see should i concentrate on node.js templates like ejs or handlebars or api or react or view well it depends on what you want to do right there's some applications that need to be server-side rendered but right now with something like next.js you could do the exact same thing where you could have react on the front end and then use next.js to render your uh your react components into html and css now there was a point where you would use something like ejs handlebars etc but right now with next js you could do the same thing right it all depends on what you want to do and what's your workflow right there's a million things that you can do with node.js so you just gotta think about what exactly is it that you want to do with your application are you going to be using react components then yeah might as well use next gs if you're not going to use react components and you're going to make it completely 100 server side rendered or you're going to have like 80 service i rendered and then maybe uh another twenty thirty percent um of like like a single page app that maybe you won't wanna have it uh on a page and you don't really care about uh like search engine optimizations and things like that then yeah go ahead and use ejs and even pug you could use whatever you want to use but it depends on what you want to to do what type of application you're building everyone in the usa can own a car easily but countries like india you need to be very rich to own a car and other luxury stuff yeah so that's that's the thing that we have here you know a lot of people um even from my my own home country right i was born in dominican republic right if you don't know where dominican republic google it okay some people will be coming in here and be like joe talk so big like like like i don't know what's going on in the third world like yeah i know what's going on in the third world i'm from the third world right i'm from [ __ ] third world country right so dominican republic is a country in the uh the caribbean right next to haiti right we share our island with haiti and we're right next to puerto rico and almost real close to the bahamas right just to give you a point now in dominican republic like you don't have access to the things that you have access to here so a lot of people in dr you know even my own family members hit us up like oh you guys are rich you guys got a lot of money in the u.s it's like even when i was broke people i have a cousin i'm gonna tell you this story this is a real life story sometimes i give too much personal information in here but it's it's worth it because people get to learn from this i have a cousin that i grew up with in dominican republic that doesn't talk to me no more doesn't [ __ ] with me at all right and it all comes down to the fact that when i was around 19 years old i went back to dominican republic and i had a watch nothing crazy a [ __ ] [ __ ] guest watch like you know those [ __ ] watches that you get on on macy's that maybe it's like 150 or something like that right and the whole time that i was in dominican republic he keeps looking at my watch he's like yo let me borrow it i let him borrow it he's like yo i love to watch this isn't that i'm like alright cool i'm freaking taking my watch back hey man um i'm about to leave and he's like yo joe oh please let me get your watch leave it to me now mind you if you guys don't know i've been saying this from a long time ago like i live here in the united states but i i live to hear poor like poor right that's what it is right if you're earning less than a hundred thousand dollars in a home you're basically poor right you're basically just like getting by if you're earning less than then you know fifty thousand dollars a year on a three four you know family home like yeah you're poor like you just happen to live in the united states now um my cousin's like yo let me get that watch let me get that washed isn't that and i'm like bro i can't give you this watch this is the first watch my mom has ever given me since ever my mom hasn't given me anything like you know this expensive as far as like a personal gift and he wanted me to give it to him and i'm like bro i can't give it to you he's like yo but you live in new york you guys find this all the time you guys are rich over there you guys you're always going to be able to get one of these and this and that and i was telling her i'm like bro i'm not even working i'm 19 years old i'm like no matter of fact this was when i was like 16 years old i'm like yo i'm 16 years old bro like i don't got money like that like what you think just because i live in the us i'm rich like nah bro i'm struggling just like you i just happened to live in the u.s and and he's like yo that's my first gift my first watch my mom gave me why should i give it to you you sound crazy right and i'll tell you the story because sometimes people think that living other countries they think like people live here like they're so good they're so rich and this nah that's what you see on tv you know what i'm saying that's what you see on tv nobody here is rich people are just able to get things off credit you know what i'm saying like when you look about uh look at this like let there's people right now in the projects with a fifty thousand dollar car how does somebody have a fifty thousand dollar car but you can't pay your own rent right there's two ways you either a drug dealer you're making money under the books right and you bought that car cash or you're living there but you have good credit right you might not be able to go and pay top dollar for an apartment and you have to live in a project right but you're able to go in there and say i got good credit give it to me and the companies are going to give it to you in other countries it's not like that you can't just pop up somewhere and be like well i got good credit show they're going to be like so what's your point right and it's because the system is not set up for them to be able to have access to these things and that and the reason i'm bringing all these things up is because sometimes people think like you're so good here in the us and it's like nah it's like i see people that come in here and be like from other countries and be like man i want to get a visa to go to the us and i'm like bro most likely you're going to get exploited here most likely you're not going to be able to work on the things that you want to work on right like the career that you want to work on like that's for selected few like it happens but the majority of people come here with dreams and end up as an uber driver right most people come in here with dreams and end up working at a at a field picking up strawberries right like that's just the truth right if you don't come to this country with money already don't expect for things to just pop up for you right away right there's people that come here and they hit the ground running but that's because they're coming from a country that has a a solid background like i remember there was uh this kid who i knew who was from korea when i was going to uh laguardia community college right bro he was paying two times the amount of the average student like just to go to school right and the reason why was because his father was like uh one of the the heads of like samsung right and not like the major heads but he was like pretty up there on samson that as an executive that he was able to send his son to go to the united states go study in the united states yes it was in a community college but it was still uh you know it's still worth it because then now he could go in get a job here do all the stuff this kid he didn't have to worry about nothing you know saying i'm in there worrying about oh i gotta show up to financial aid i gotta show up to this i gotta find out where i could buy the used books from the last semester this kid's coming in like let me get that book oh that book is 500 let me get that book let me get that book let me get that book oh by the way we're paying for you know for the whole semester in one shot like he ain't worried about nothing there's people that come to this country that come from other countries that are already good and they come here and then those guys they hit the ground running but when you were just you're just some poor [ __ ] from another country you're coming here from the bottom you got to lift yourself up so if you're expecting for things to come in and just be like oh i'm in america right i'm in america kids right like i'm gonna be rich like nah bro you're gonna have to work your ass off okay um yeah anyways let's jump into another topic let's see [Music] hello peeps somebody says uh joe how's the window so far it's okay nothing crazy i mean i'm not excited to be on it right i'll be honest it's like getting a windows computer is like getting a 1992 honda civic like you could go in there souped it up put the rims on it but you're not really impressing nobody with that [ __ ] and when you get in you don't get that that feeling of like damn i'm in a brand new mercedes i'm in a brand new ferrari like you're not getting that feeling you're getting what you need to get and you're doing what you need to do that's what you gotta think that's that's how i feel on a on a windows computer you're able to do what you have to do but am i getting like excited or do i get a feeling of like damn accomplishment do i feel happy with it nah i don't get nothing out of this computer um let me see uh let me see mine over matter uh says that's why i don't like visiting family abroad they ask for everything yeah for some people they they abuse it and then not only that yo this is crazy bro this [ __ ] this story is crazy so the same cousin right that was at 16 years old so then this was the second time when i went back when i was 19. so he asked me at 16. he's like yo he wants my watch i'm like bro this is my first watch my mom bought me like i don't i was the one of those kids that i never asked for [ __ ] to my mom because i knew my mom is a single parent right i don't got a dad to freaking take care of the home and it's not two parents working together i know my mom's struggling my mom is just getting by to make sure that we are able to survive and live okay and live in a safe neighborhood like we never went to a project we never uh took uh medicaid we never took uh welfare like we live poor but with dignity meaning that you know what we never got to hang out we never got a hand out we never got any of that [ __ ] we live with dignity of just like okay cool and there's nothing wrong with taking those services because that's what you pay taxes for right um but at the end of the day we was like you know what this is how we live we live comfortably you know what i mean we don't need to have too much but we live with dignity and we were just you know normal right um but yeah so at the age of 19 uh duke calls me up and he's like yo i don't even know how he got my number and he's like oh come down to to the capital so i go from moka which is uh in the the north side of dominican republic to down to the south which is the capital of dr and i go over there and he's like yo he's like yo can you lend me six thousand dollars i wanna uh i have this opportunity to buy a truck so i could sell fruits and things like that which is a good thing and i understand it what he was trying to do but at the same time it's like what i told him i'm like bro like i've never even seen six thousand dollars in my hands like at 19 years old i never seen six thousand dollars in my hand like together like oh bundled up and like yo i got six thousand dollars right at that point um i never seen that type of money together right and he's like yo he wants me to lend it to him i'm like what the [ __ ] where am i gonna get six thousand dollars from right and i'm thinking about i'm like yo bro like what do you think like we just rich in new york like we just got everything like money just is on trees and i could just pick it up and like oh let me go pick the tree and i'll pick six thousand dollars off the tree and go give it to my cousin nah bro like you get what i'm saying sometimes people be abusing it bro and you know to this day he don't talk to me or nothing and it's off the strength that i didn't give him what he wanted and it's like bro like [ __ ] is stupid this is like sometimes people abuse it and they this is the biggest problem with people overall people don't put themselves in other people's shoes right it's the same reason why somebody you know hit me up the other day he's like yo joe thank you for everything that you've done i'm able to get my job thank you for creating this website codingface.com and make it affordable right the dude had gone to a boot camp and he was paying like fifteen thousand dollars and he left the boot camp he left early he still got a bill right of like three four thousand dollars that they gave him because leaving early and he was like yo bro i appreciated that you know you gave me everything that you i needed to get and i'm able to get a job now with just 20 bucks right now all of this [ __ ] that i have on codingface.com i know i could sell it for more because it works and it's [ __ ] that's real right it's things that you're gonna learn that you're gonna actually be able to use as a developer right and get you opportunities but i put myself in other people's shoes you know how difficult it was for me when i was starting to learn how to code and i was paying thirty dollars on codeschool.com it was actually 35 a month i was paying a subscription there then from there i was going to buy individual courses then from there i had bought a 700 course on affiliate marketing which again i don't regret any of those things but i know how it feels i put myself in the shoes of the other person if you're not in a great situation [ __ ] spending 35 a month is a lot or like when you go to you know udemy and you go and buy three four courses in one month and it's like yo to learn this thing you're like yo i just bought three four courses you just spent like 45 dollars right so in my head i'm putting myself in the shoes of other people this is why i created coding face because i like to do that i like to go in and think about what would be comfortable for me when i was dead broke right 20 bucks and if the guy gave me a discount [ __ ] that's even better right but i swear to god sometimes people they don't put themselves in other people's shoes they don't look at other people's uh you know situations and and what's going on with them you know because they're they're just thinking of like oh this person is always going to be good or this person can afford this or this person like nah put yourself in other people's shoes not everybody is is able to just pay for things like that you know um but yeah man [ __ ] was crazy back then bro dude asked me like at 19 years old i was like just turned 19. i was 18 just turning 19 because i remember it was on december it was on december i went over there for my birthday and for christmas and dude is like yo let me get uh let me borrow six thousand dollars and i'm thinking in my head i'm like bro i don't i've never even seen six thousand dollars in my life like you asking me for [ __ ] that i never even seen that's like somebody asking me right now joe let me borrow six million dollars right now i've never even seen six million dollars how do you want me to lend you some [ __ ] like that you know what i mean like but people are crazy um yeah part of telly says uh hey bro good to see you uh that's why i don't like visiting uh abroad that's what mind over matter um jm says that's the new you see movies yeah uh they don't even know about brooklyn or queens or harlem until they go to new york and see how it is yeah people don't even know they're like yo i didn't know that new york was like this i'm like what do you think new york was like like when dudes go to the train station and get robbed you know dude come straight from from the hood like zoop doubles yo run that surprise i just got here um i i i just got here from india and i'm i'm new i don't give up rock them give me that douche duke goes back home and saying i thought america was great you ain't see america you seen hollywood you see you seen like shots of miami you've seen shots of like vegas you wouldn't see the real new york you didn't see the real the real [ __ ] that's going on you might get robbed out there you thought [ __ ] was sweet you thought you was uh i'm a refugee i i think i'm good in the united you might get killed out here you know what i mean you was running away from some [ __ ] in your home country you come here you might just get killed you're gonna say like that's the truth like this country has bad things just like any other country don't think that this [ __ ] is like heaven you just came to heaven it's like nah bro it's just it's the real world right dude comes in party comes in it's like well welcome to america prenin and purnim goes looks around and says damn so many big buildings bigger than the ones that we had back home in india and then panima's just walking around minding his business goes into a t-mobile oh i could get a brand new phone can i get that iphone he signs up for the iphone now he got a phone he goes back home yo america's great next thing he knows he goes in the train yo run that party was like excuse me sir partner barney's like excuse me sir like what happened sir can i help you i said run that give me that but sir i just i i just got here yesterday welcome to new york my dude run that that's how it is sometimes you come to this cup you're thinking like like yo i just seen this yesterday and this is a sad story right so this guy i think in washington dc um middle eastern guy he works as a uh was it uber eats right whereas like they go you drive a car you you go and pick up like a mcdonald's or something and then you go take it to somewhere right um two young girls 13 and 15 years old went in went into his car while he was going to do delivery the guy goes in the guy's an immigrant he just got here he just got his license and now he's an uber eats right dude is like 60 something years old live his whole life had a great life right next thing you know he's there just dropping his delivery and next thing you know this two 13 15 year old girls come in take the car run with it right and now the guy's holding on to the door like please don't take my car because you know he's an immigrant he just got here he probably somebody lend him the money to rent that car or to buy that car and he don't want to lose his car that's his livelihood he just came to this country to have a you know a better life right next thing you know the girls go and slam into a car now the guy is pinned and he he freaking flies away now the guy is dead you don't even have six months in this country you might be living your whole life in another country and you would have probably died of old age you could have been on your village you could have been chilling you think that you're gonna come to here to america and have an amazing life and you don't even last six months [ __ ] is like that that's life right [ __ ] happens out here you know it's a real news story article that i've seen uh like two days ago it happened in washington dc now the dude he just got here and he already got bodied [ __ ] happens all the times if you're thinking that you're going to come to the u.s and you're going to have this amazing i'm going to have this amazing experience like there's guys here who have like master's degrees from other countries and you might see them at a regular delhi or at the gas station and you're like yo buddy what you doing here you was a doctor in in you know in dominican republic well that is america my my degree is not worth anything here and i can't spend another 10 years to become a doctor again here you're going to say like [ __ ] happens uh let me see the barrios facts somebody says uh men woke up and chose to speak facts yo i have a technical interview today at 1pm it will be about three four hours you see [ __ ] like that i always wonder like why do you need to have a technical interview for three to four hours that sounds crazy that sounds crazy to me like i wouldn't even go like i mean that's just me but that sounds crazy three to four hours on a technical interview now i'll give you half an hour y'all decide if y'all want me or not like and that's why i don't even sign up to any of those like companies that be doing [ __ ] like that like if i go in and i look at oh they're doing a crazy interview it's like i don't need to be here like why would i go and waste three to four hours for then for a possibility not even a guarantee it's a possibility of getting a job but you know you know congrats on at least getting the interview and and good luck bro but [ __ ] is crazy uh joe how do you manage working with employees from other countries um it depends you know right now i think i have a good team right i got the only person that i have that is from another country is uh ram and you know i could say shanji is like an uncle contractor whenever we need something so shout out to him he has great work if you guys want to work with him definitely hit him up um but before i've had really bad situations i don't like hiring people from other countries to be honest with you and it's the same thing like here um i had a designer from the uk i'll let her go me and chris sean were talking about this because we both have you know contractors and people that we're working with um in other countries and to be honest with you it's just not even worth it at the end of the day it's not even worth it to to have people from other countries you know because sometimes people take advantage sometimes people they not pick up your calls or they live in a place where the time zone is completely different so then it's like it's a whole bunch of things that could happen wrong sorry guys freaking allergies i gotta get my nord nor whatever freaking day so i can stop my allergies um but yeah bro like it's hard to work with people from other countries that's why me personally i'm not hiring anybody else um right now what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna hire locally um so hopefully in a month or two once everything gets to pick up a little bit and i find the right location what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna uh post a job listing here on indeed.com and i'm gonna put it for here for tampa and i'm gonna hire two employees to work full-time on you know 87 lux to work there with me where we go into an office and we are there because to be honest with you when you work with people remotely sometimes people think it's like oh i'm home i'm chilling and it's like nah if i'm paying you full time i need you to work full-time i don't need you to do this part-time or to do it like whenever you have time because i'm not paying you whenever i have time to pay you i'm paying you whenever i need to pay you right so i want to have the same thing and at the end of the day it's like it's so much better to have people in house you know it kind of sucks for people that live in other countries and stuff like that but is some people mess it up for other people's like for me like i'm not planning hiring anybody else like from other countries right i think i have a good team the people that i already work with i'm happy with them but i'm not gonna take the risk to go and hire somebody else because it's just not worth it a lot of people that work remotely they don't do the work that they're supposed to or they don't contact you when they're done they're basically you know their goals and then now you got to go after them but then they show up every friday to get paid so it's like nah you know so at the end of the day like that's there's definitely a lot of problems man let me see uh the time running to mind over my what do they expect 19 year old to get that money much money yeah bro like i said if i'm selling drugs or something over here like where am i get six thousand dollars especially when you work in [ __ ] jobs that you might you'll be lucky if you make twenty thousand dollars from a [ __ ] job per year and then they're looking at you like you're gonna give them six thousand that's almost half of your income after taxes so yeah people are crazy daniel korean can you take a look at my portfolio send it to me bro send me your portfolio codingface gmail.com cartel j hall says you haven't seen east new york bk or brownsville word let them go to pickens project real quick like let them pass by pickings there's dudes that are scared to go in there and like the the chinese dudes are scared to go in there and drop off chinese food because [ __ ] is bad right dudes get robbed every day in there like it gets crazy here you thought that things it's like heaven is like nah it's the united states kid there's good and bad parts oh let me see mine over matter says i love to live in the village but with money word can you take a look at my portfolio 17 years old send it to me i said coding face at gmail send it to me naomi says bless you thank you man bless you too um are there any companies like creative circle out there they're not looking deaf in my area um yeah most likely most likely they're gonna be uh agencies like that let me see hey joe you started your shopify course in your opinion it's easier to get into app development with node or should i learn laravel um i think with node.js you're going to have to build everything yourself so there's really not any package or a library that or even a starter kit or boilerplate or anything with node.js for building shopify applications but with larabel what's cool about is that there's a package already built that you could go in and you could hit the ground running a lot of the things that you will have to build manually that takes time has already been built for you so you could focus on the product instead of focusing on on building um the technology or building the the you know things like authentications and [ __ ] like that uh let me see joe as a web developer should i invest in buying software like so uh like figma adobe xc it's not gonna hurt you to understand uh design and understand design software it's not going to hurt you because there's going to be a lot of companies that's going to ask you for that not for you to design something but for you to be able to take out the assets like let's say for example somebody sends me a design like let's say shanji sends me a design he's a designer right he's a front-end developer also too very good with design um let's say shanji sends me a design when he sends me the design if i don't know my way around the software how am i going to be able to get the images the assets or even the sizes for you know whatever website it is that i'm working on so it's important for you to at least know how to use them you don't need to be an expert but you need to know how to use them okay i work more when i'm at home than when i'm in the office i feel that pressure of people wondering what i'm up to mine over matter says well yeah but unfortunately that that's you but the truth is that there's people that just they need that right they need somebody to be on top of them and be on you know like i hated that i hate it when i'm in the office that's why i don't even work for anybody anymore that's one of my main reasons i think i will save me you know the headache of doing all the [ __ ] that i do on my own like i could easily go and work for a company and make you know anywhere 140 000 and up and if i get into a company like netflix four hundred thousand dollars and up right i could easily do that but then comes in the other side of the coin which is you gotta go to meetings you gotta go to uh be on time every day or to work you got to wake up extra early to go to the office like right now everything's remote but don't think that that's how the world is going to be forever i'm talking about how it generally is um having to go to an office every single day commuting you have to commute an hour sometimes an hour and a half so three hours out of your day is just going to work just to get there there from there you have to deal with co-workers random people that you don't know from a hole in the wall that maybe you like and maybe you don't like maybe they they think they're geniuses maybe they're idiots right sometimes you got to deal with that sometimes you've got to deal with the snakes the people that want to throw you under the bus to make themselves look better like all of that dynamic of being in the office i hate it right i hate that [ __ ] with a passion um but at the end of the day it's like yo i understand why some you know some employers only want people to come in to work because there's people that wouldn't do what they need to do unless they have somebody on top of them right there's people that are independent independent that you say okay guys this is what we're building and this is the the goal this and they understand how everything works but there's people that's not like that there's people that you have to go in there why you think there's project managers wouldn't you think that you would be able to just tell a developer and say okay guys this is what we need to build by friday and build this project that's it do you think that most developers can do that no the truth is that nah they can't because it's just human nature so you need a manager somebody that's on top of you that comes in and says hey guys how's everything going it hits you up on skype or or hits you up on trello or what's the other one or whatever the the freaking you know whatever messaging app they're using uh hipchat right which is from jira hipchat right hey guys uh what you guys are up to uh uh when do you guys think that this will be done uh hey can you work on this page like it's [ __ ] that the developer should be able to be doing on his own but the truth is that it's human nature for people to be like well i'm done with my project right so it's like i'm done with my project i'll wait until they tell me to do something people do that [ __ ] all the time right like they're waiting for you to give them a task they don't go in and pick a task to do like for example you could be working at a company where they have a product right let's say dropbox right dropbox right so you work at dropbox you would think that the developers there will say oh there's a problem here on this page let me start working on it most of the time people are not gonna move a finger unless somebody tells them hey you're the the the guy that's gonna own this task you gotta go work on this thing and if nobody comes in and contacts that individual that person doesn't do [ __ ] there was a guy who worked at a company that i used to work at and he was there for like five six years where he just automated almost everything right almost everything that he needed to do on a daily basis but he never worked on updating the website creating new things new tools new features he never did none of that he just went in backed up the database he went in like if everything is able to sell like let's say for example you work at an e-commerce company once you're able to sell your products and people are able to upload products and sell products and it connects to the inventory your job is technically done but it's a website there's a million things that you could keep adding to it there's a million new features a new ways to track a and b this thing a and b this this button a and b uh this landing page a and b the collections page a and b the product page there's a million things that you could do every single day so this individual never did [ __ ] for like three years he will come in in the morning and we just have [ __ ] automated and then all day he would just be watching anime on the back of the office and to one day you know one of the um the owners of the company came in and said hey man what have you done new this week and the guy couldn't tell him and then he was like wait you didn't do nothing new this week then the guy asked him what have you done this month that was new and the guy couldn't answer it he asked him what have you done that's new this whole year and the guy couldn't answer it and that's when he fired him and said so you haven't done [ __ ] in a whole year other than backing up the database making sure that the servers don't go down it's like themselves is on auto scale they're not going to go down right so sometimes you need people to be at work and you need somebody to be on top of them as a business owner now i'm looking at things the other side of the coin right when i was an employee i would be like [ __ ] like i used to work at toys r us this is what employees do right i would go to toys r us right which is a retailer to selling toys back in the days they used to be the number one place to sell toys now it's like walmart and you know target uh but i used to work over there and i used to do the night shift like picking up items and and like putting it back into their their freaking aisles and things like that bro you know what i used to do i used to go over there goes to go to work show up at nine o'clock nine pm it's overnight right so go in there nine pm and then do work for like two hours and then i will be lost in like the inventory in the back of the store sometimes i will go and take a nap like literally i would go in like go find a little spot they used to have like these little rugs for kids i would take one of those rugs put that [ __ ] above me and go to sleep on the job and put a timer with a vibe vibration on my phone so it wouldn't make noise it would just go so i would wake up three hours later so every day for three hours i didn't do no work when my supervisor would come back around be like how you guys doing how's everything what eyes you guys worked on i'll be like well i worked on io7 i worked on the video game section i worked on this this isn't that i ain't do [ __ ] right just eating up the time eating up the time right so as an employee this is the normal [ __ ] that people do and i'm not the only one right there's people that do this all the time you go to a store uh uh t-mobile store there's people there that's on their phone they're on their phone going through instagram going through twitter whatever it is that they're doing instead of talking to the customers to try to make them to buy a phone or to sign up to a contract or to whatever right this is what people do so this is why you need managers this is why there's people that's on top of people the moment you give people freedom to say hey man i'm good oh nobody's overlooking my work nobody's looking at how long i really take people take advantage now as an a business owner i see it and i see the wrong in it because people are paying for it you know bobby basically just doing basics um so i gamble a lot of money today and toppo says um how do you pay for a year and no added benefits uh yeah that's that happens bro sometimes you give people the freedom you say oh you know they're working on something it looks like they're working on something every time that you go in but if you don't have a manager like that company didn't have a project manager a project manager is supposed to be on top of all of these things and say okay this is what you're supposed to do by friday and they need to have some technical skills to know how long do these things take right because sometimes they'll be developers they'll be like oh it took me three weeks but when you look at the task that they gave them it's supposed to take them one week if it takes them three weeks you got to fire that developer because that's not what he's not qualified to be doing that job or put him into something else that he could actually do so those are things that i learned you know now as a business owner it's like yo you know chris shawn was telling me a situation he had with somebody and he's like yo i told him like bro you got to fire him you got to let him go send that dude back to the nether realm send him out there give him a freaking vip you know vip pass to to the block party like yo get out of here i'm not gonna be paying you for you to chill like everybody knows there's eight hours out of the day of like a work day and if you're not able to work six hours out of those work days you're fired that's it and if let's say for example you was doing research that's totally understandable but if you're just telling you're like i just did three hours of work in a freaking eight hour day you costing that that business money that's another thing too um as far as like junior developers i don't know if i will hire a junior like somebody who's like junior junior no i'm not hiring a junior junior developer and it's because you need to have certain type of skills to be profitable people want to go and and become developers but nobody wants to put in the work right nobody wants to start at the bottom so they could pick up the the the work and and you know become good developers so they could get paid high high incomes right because software developers software engineers they cost a lot of money so if you're gonna pay somebody that's not productive and it's not bringing value to you you can't pay that type of money you get what i'm saying now would i hire a junior developer would i give them an opportunity as a intern yes would i go in and then hire them yes right but i need to see that my money is going to be used like properly i can't go in and say well i'm gonna pay somebody let's say for example a very basic income which is like six thousand dollars a month right and this person is only giving me seven hundred dollars worth of of work it doesn't make sense right for me to hire somebody i need to have to go in and really vet them and see what type of skills they have right but i'm not just picking up some random dude that just he's never worked on real projects he's never had a portfolio like he's never done an internship he's never done anything because then now that means that for the next month two months three months and sometimes it takes even longer there's people that are a little bit slower than others now i gotta eat that up and i gotta go in and take that hit as an employer and and basically train this person from scratch and i've got to pay them top dollars because quote unquote they are a software developer that's the problem and it's the same thing that happens with like guys who just graduated college like yeah you know programming but you're not really useful like if you go into a company and say well i just graduated from uh i don't know from new york state university right you went to new york state university and you know how to program in python but you don't know how to use react and you don't know how to communicate with a rest apis and you don't know how to use mysql right or maybe you don't know how to use a react router what exactly is it you're going to be used for there's no use for you you're gonna say that means that i have to look at you as quote-unquote potential and i gotta pay you to learn all of these things and then without me getting anything and most likely after i teach you all of these things you're most likely going to jump ship to another company because now you got all of the skills that's going to make you a better developer and it's going to help you get paid more you get what i'm saying like that [ __ ] happens that's why i look at it on the other side as a employer now you're not saying like it's just you know now i understand it now understand like why or why a lot of companies are like this and it's because it costs money like if you was like a like a mcdonald's employee a mcdonald's employee gets paid ten dollars eleven dollars an hour right some place is fifteen dollars an hour right [ __ ] you could go and say oh that's nothing that's no money but when you go in and you say well i gotta pay somebody 30 40 an hour and they're not producing anything for the first month two months i'm wasting money uh let me see how do i unstuck myself now it says how do i unstuck myself i keep getting distracted i have been doing a lot of tutorials but then i feel like i don't learn anything that is my own self-distraction well you need to start like thinking about of an application that you can build excuse me build an application bro like look at zillow.com look at facebook.com uh look at twitter try to rebuild those those websites from scratch challenge yourself challenge yourself to go in there and build those things if you want me to review your portfolio send send me your your email coding codingface gmail.com codingface gmail.com send it to me there and i will review it in the billy ray death channel okay for those of you guys that don't know let me see if i could share this screen for you guys okay billy ray dev's channel gotta face this up a little bit there you go you go over here you search billy ray death and there you go i will review your portfolio just like i did for this guy okay this is where i'm gonna be posting all my videos so i do live streams here we talk about development we talk about career we talk about all of the good things that we talk about in this live stream right we do it live okay on coding phase and then all the videos i'm gonna be uploading it here to the billy ray def so again now if you are here on this channel right now and you're still not subscribed all you have to do is click on this video that we're watching right now and click right here coding phase okay click on my picture click on the title of the channel and then from there the first channel that you see right here says subscribe to my other channel billy ray dev right there just click on subscribe right and just subscribe okay hit the notification bell and you're good to go okay so if you want me to do your portfolio review make sure you subscribe and email it to me i will do it uh so let me see what else bro the developers are not uh i don't know what you're talking about okay i'm reading through here before i leave bro the developers are not categorized or used in the way your suggestion um i don't know coco jones i don't know what you're talking about so i don't really know what are you talking about coco what you talking about coco uh let me see we didn't see the progress for the interns last week we're gonna see them this week um maybe once they we might do the last live stream with the interns and the reason is because we're going to be working on an in-house project and we're only going to do like updates once a month okay so i don't want to go in and waste your time and waste their time coming in because that's the thing is like every week we'll come in and we'll do like another live stream but then it'll be like oh i just changed a little bit of this page like there's no point of doing a live stream for that for that i'd rather go in and allow them to go and create things that when they come back they have [ __ ] to talk about because if they go in and be like well i worked a little bit on this collections page like or i worked a little bit on this product page i want them to be able to have like a a finished project or finished product that they could show on a weekly basis or every two three weeks you know so i'd rather just come in and allow them to finish their work and then come back and and show you guys what they're working on instead of like it's like micromanaging them and i don't want to do that um i say coco jones says a high quality developer freelance or now will have tons of work money on the table so you have to wait for the better quality work i don't know what the [ __ ] coco jones is talking about coco you need to you need to go in here when you leave a comment and you're trying to like make a point bro like take your time and explain what the [ __ ] you're talking about like it's like you're having a conversation with yourself and nobody knows what you're talking about you need to explain hey i'm answering to this or hey i'm talking about this or like say what you're talking about because we don't know what the [ __ ] you're talking about i'm trying to read it and i'm trying to like catch up and i'm like what is what the [ __ ] is this dude talking about like he's not making any sense he's like it's it's like if i come in here and leave a comment and it's like uh but pizzas are better because we can make pizza with [ __ ] pepperoni and put mozzarella cheese everybody here will be like what the [ __ ] is joe talking about like straight up like you gotta like let us know what are you talking about so we can understand what your comment is there's like a dude popping up it's like yo uh we're all talking about something and then randomly just a dude comes in and is talking about yeah but pizza is better with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese do start looking at it what the [ __ ] is this dude talking about like like give us some context like what are you talking about dude dude is giving a freaking essay on the comment section and i'm really trying to like catch up to it so i could see what he talking about but i'm like i'm reading through this [ __ ] i'm like none of this [ __ ] makes sense what is he talking about what topic he's talking about what is it that he's answering to or is he talking to somebody else on the chat i'm like wait what the [ __ ] are you talking about bro like yo man dude showed up posting lauren ipsum straight up like yeah i'm reading through this [ __ ] i'm like yo this [ __ ] makes no sense [Laughter] oh let me see patrick pierre do you think personal brand or a business brand is better for a freelance deaf um you you could do a personal brand like it all depends like there was something that i was um you know reading the other day too about how is like how some people come in and and portray themselves like you know how when you do like a a portfolio or something like that like you go to a website and it says we our team or this this and that like you don't have a team if you don't have a team you shouldn't be talking as if you have a team because also too sometimes people want to work with one individual person instead of working with a team and if you don't have a team like now you're alienating yourself from that so if you don't have a business where you have more people um like at the end of the day if you don't have more people like then you're you're basically talking about oh i got a business but it's like what is the business about right so if you're gonna go in and promote something like promote your personal brand first right until you have the business set up where you have multiple employees and things like that um so let's see what exactly is it that you're talking about coco jones bro be professor is your channel i understand that boy you're making misleading comments what are you but what is the comment this is the same [ __ ] that i was just talking about you have to say what are you talking about because we can't we don't know which one triggered you we talked about a million different things we have no idea what the [ __ ] triggered you so can you please give us some context tell us joe this is the place this is the line that i don't agree with this is the [ __ ] that i i think that you're wrong at joe this is you get what i'm saying like you can't show up somewhere and be like yo but pizza we could make pizza with pepperoni and mozzarella what the [ __ ] are you talking about though like [Laughter] yeah it should be crazy bro oh am i wrong can somebody can anybody here read what coco has been talking about like because i'm reading everybody's comments and i'm going there i'm reading to them and i'm like okay let's go in here let's do the first fine we're gonna read it for coco right we're gonna see if we could do a fine on this thing um i'm reading through this thing hold on i'm trying to find his very first comment so we could so you guys could see am i wrong or am i [ __ ] wrong like or not wrong like i'm reading through this thing and i'm just reading through everybody's things and it's like yo this is the first thing he dropped bro the developers are not categorized or used in the way you're suggesting second comment a high quality developer freelance or not will have tons of work and money on the table so you will have to wait for the better quality work okay what problems uh no no this was not him um most development is front end or basic drag and drop platforms what happens most of the time are the people that know about alternative to coding get manipulated by the people that that i guess don't know um and then from there reading through here this is the last one he got bro be professional with your channel i understand that but you're making misleading comments but again does anybody know what the [ __ ] is he talking about if he comes in and says bro the developers are not categorized or used in the way your suggestion what is the context what was the [ __ ] that triggered it like you have to come in and actually add more to that like that's i don't mind that you say something what i mind is like you just popping up out of nowhere like pizza macaroni what was the context of it like you get what i'm saying [Laughter] yo pizza pepper pepperoni macaroni like what are you talking about please explain yourself so we could go in here okay so explain but what was it that it means it says this guy's misleading his files in a few ways developer encoders do not use the methods he has spoken on what are you talking about what methods but does anybody here underst does anybody understand what the [ __ ] this guy's talking about i'm giving you one last chance explain what are you talking about what was it that i said that was misleading please so i can understand and then i will say oh you're right coco let me rephrase that a little bit better or hey maybe you're wrong because it is but i just don't know what you're talking about please explain what was the thing you're you're [ __ ] going around like you're looking like a troll right now you get what i'm saying somebody said yo this guy is a genius troll like yo it doesn't matter this is the end of the live stream right we're about to start heading out i got [ __ ] to do but i want to know now he got me intrigued like he got me [ __ ] interested i really want to know [Laughter] like i really want to know what is this guy talking about so i could go in and and answer or or you know disagree with it it's just like yo pizza macaroni pepperoni uh mozzarella cheese who was talking about mozzarella cheese like yo this is funny bro that's philippe [Laughter] i wonder what happened to that doo philippe man oh my god you know what i'm saying like yo it should be crazy sometimes but this is how you know this is how you basically know that these people are idiots you get what i'm saying like sometimes like if i'm wrong i'm wrong i don't know everything in the world bro like i'm not a genius i'm just a regular dude just like you right i'm over here in the world surviving right but at least make your point make your point okay okay let's use real world agencies what platforms or practices do they use how do they use those platforms well how do they vet employees it will not match what this guy is saying what are you talking about when did we talk about but you see this is what i'm saying like you're talking about something that we never talked about right okay use a real world a real world agencies what platforms and practices do they use okay what are when did we talk about platforms and practices again this has not been a conversation in this whole live stream how do they use those platforms again what platforms okay so we're reading through this thing how do they vet employees right how do they vet employees well very simple a lot of times people come in that's something that we did talk about in in the live stream right as far as like giving people an opportunity hiring them right looking at their work right but the point is that you can't vet somebody if somebody comes in and says hey i could do all all of this work for you and this is the projects that i've done before but then when they come into work they're [ __ ] taking their sweet time something that takes three days that could take them two weeks or three weeks so now as a business owner you're losing money tada your [ __ ] question has been [Laughter] answered coco enjoy enjoy the okay coach i can build anything in automated coding and development while everyone watches you do the same uh we can test our theory but what are you talking about i can build anything automated coding and development while everyone watches you do the same we can test our t but what theory bro we're not even gonna talk to you bro yo give this dude a vip pass right like because now he's just talking about some dumb [ __ ] that has no [ __ ] meaning what are you talking about i'm really like i really tried to read this thing and i'm trying to give him like like the [ __ ] benefit of the doubt cause i thought that maybe up there there was a conversation that he was having or something and i'm like reading through this [ __ ] i'm like but this [ __ ] doesn't make sense none of the things that he's putting together as [ __ ] words there is no conversation to it you get what i'm saying like maybe danny ho says oh you're the automated death watching enemy yo like what is he talking about enjoy the block party kiddo right i don't understand like i'm really trying to follow up on his conversation but it's like he can't even [ __ ] express themselves like you can't put [ __ ] sentences together bro like you can't explain what was the thing that triggered you what was the point that you said that what agencies that's what you're talking about like and platforms what platforms you're gonna say like this is why sometimes i'll be like yo [ __ ] be crazy sometime on the internet like what is this dude talking about can somebody go back in on on on this live stream and say when do i even say the word platform i haven't said the word platform until this dude said it so it's like what was the whole conversation about like oh man um now i'm i'm [ __ ] having fun with it guys some people were like yo maybe he joe's going to get pissed bro i'm having fun with this this dude is like there's always some random dude on the internet that can't even [ __ ] express himself like and talk about what exactly is it that he don't like right and it's like i don't like something about this guy i don't know what it is but i just don't like something about this guy and you get what i'm saying like suck a dick you know what i mean go jump off a brick [Laughter] like why like explain explain yourself tell me i'm interested yeah it's like philippe so philippe that dude man that was another dude man that dude was funny dude felipe man yo we always we always bump into one one of those dudes right like and it's usually i i'm starting to think like it's usually the same person like it's usually like one or two people that they just continue to create the different accounts they create different accounts over and over again right orlando jose says coco's being a nonsensical contradium without making a clear counter point he gives no clear specific example about anything that's being said yeah sometimes i think it's just the same same type of person because it's impossible for the same people to just like have the same type of [ __ ] mentality of like yo we just against everything i don't know what i don't like about this guy but i just don't like them right give me a point like there's people that if you come in and you tell me [ __ ] i don't like this guy or i don't like joe because of this right or because of that right i would say yeah you're right bro you might have a point but it's just like i don't know where to pinpoint it i don't know where but i just don't like what like shut the [ __ ] up like straight up like shut up like straight up bro like you don't have to watch this channel right at all whenever you see you know what i do there's channels that i don't watch at all at all i don't watch them you know there's a little button i'm gonna show you right now for being a genius you're not a genius right let's say there's a button on i'm gonna show you guys right here on a screen share box right let's zoom in right let's say i don't want to see somebody right let's see somebody who i i don't want to see their content on my channel right let's say sonny zanga right i'm not interested right so you know what you do you click this little button right for people this is why i never understand how can you be geniuses and not know the basic [ __ ] of youtube right come through here let's see what what video see if we find okay let's say sony i don't know he seems like a good guy right i don't care about his content right nothing personal right but if i don't want to see his content there's a thing right here that says not interested you click on that button okay and then that's a video has been removed you don't get no notification you don't even see them being suggested to you you just don't see them there okay now because i do like this guy i'm gonna come here and just say you know what i don't have nothing to guess i'm gonna press undo right he don't deserve that he's a good guy um but that's what you have to do you don't have to watch this channel bro like you don't have to come here like i i make it easy for you for you to never see my face again you do that the algorithm will never show me to you ever again okay i use that [ __ ] all the time tyler benton says yeah uh danny ho says yeah you're all real and unfiltered and can't take it he wants to talk about teletubby frameworks yeah like you could go and find that [ __ ] everywhere else bro kg609 what up uh let me see i don't need content i don't like showing up in my recommended yep there's a lot of stuff that i just spend most of my time on youtube i'm just clicking that not interesting not interested so the algorithm knows exactly what i like and why i don't like so let's say for example if i'm watching something i don't want some random some random um you know some random youtube video to be popping up on my auto play so i make sure i teach the algorithm what type of content i like and if this type of content you don't like it right for whatever reason cause you can't pinpoint it there must be something that you don't like right but you can't even explain it um if you don't like it [ __ ] you don't have to be here bro that's just how it is garlene says is the dynasty is really that good adonisjs i think is is really good is well structured uh for a node.js application right node.js framework uh broad trip and says i did that to fluke's channel never seen him again you know it is what it is what's your take on drop shipping why did you get out of here do you still have drop shipping business well i don't have interest in it i could do it but i don't have interest in it um so luckily if i was in a position where i needed to get money i probably would do drop shipping but i'm very comfortable where i'm at and i like to work on things that i'm having fun with you know like why do i still do codingphase.com do i need to do it no but i enjoy i love doing the courses i love teaching people i love listening to people's stories how uh their life has changed etc so i enjoy freaking dry um but yeah enjoy i enjoy doing you know the youtube channel i enjoy doing 87 lux creating you know themes and and projects right i enjoy doing that drop shipping is cool i wanted to try it out to see if it was profitable and and if i ever had to do it then yeah i know it but it's not something that i wake up in the morning be like wow today i want to find the top selling products to go in and set up facebook ads and then start selling them online and like that's not my thing okay you said bumble says bro i think i need to learn these automated platforms yeah right like what was this guy talking about did we talk about automated pr platforms like that's the [ __ ] that you'll be like yo what the [ __ ] what was you talking about like when did we talk about automated platforms we talked about an employee that used to work at the same company as me that for like a whole year he didn't do no work and he was just chilling that's the only time that we talk about automating anything so platforms and and um and agencies automated agents what when did we talk about that i think i'm remembering reading a study showing most users on youtube watch videos they recommended instead of the channels they're sub to yeah that happens to a lot a lot of people he probably didn't like the fact that you called out an automated developer maybe but that's stupid nobody's gonna pay you to automate something right i mean you could get paid to automate a system but that does not mean that you say well i automated this and for the rest of my life you got to pay me for it no cause now you you got paid to automate it and if you're not going to do anything else goodbye time to go you already set up the business you already automated everything right why would i pay you as an employer pay you to have you there what like royalties nah you got paid by the hour you got paid by salary you didn't get paid for life you got paid for the service that you provided once you're not providing any new services your services are no longer needed get out of here i don't even know what he was talking about but sometimes people are idiots um joe what is your opinion on low code i got an offer to be a mendix developer what those mendix i don't even know what the hell is that bro mendix local platform as a tool if this is a platform that allows you to create uh native applications then hey go for it it's a job it's just a tool right if they willing to pay you to learn that [ __ ] go ahead use it why not i just i've never heard of it joe why does react seem to be more difficult to learn than laravel front end of templating i don't understand some of the logic well what you need to do is you got to learn more javascript because react is just javascript right so react in in this basic form is just okay here's some view right some template right if the data changes it renders itself okay and that's it that's what react really is and you also have situations where you say okay on click right on handle submit or whatever right it's just like just like regular javascript it's like when you add event listeners and you say okay there's an event listener on this button when that button gets clicked then do something right same thing with react same thing like oh a mouse over or mouse out do this that's it it just it really comes down to javascript you gotta get comfortable with javascript go take the course that i'm doing right now the practical javascript course um go check it out it's free if i'm pretty sure you're a member to the website john so if you're a member to the website you have access to this and if you're not a member of the website have no interest of becoming a member to the website um you could just buy the course it's 25 it's definitely worth the money because what we do there is we're explaining all of this little things that even right now we're building let me see if i can show you this um okay scenario three let me put this right here and then let me open up a live server okay so let me see if i show you this so this is one of the projects from from this course that i'm building right uh practical javascript course now in this course you're going to learn how to build things with javascript 100 with javascript okay and we go in and we explain everything in every single section okay so this is very similar to what react does react finds a element right on the page and says okay this is where we're gonna render our like let's say our root tree right so it's like our root dom right or um i forgot the name of it i can't remember it right now uh virtual dom right so basically from there you find an element that has the id of root and then from there within that you basically generate all of the html and css within that that whole application within that root element right but we do this with vanilla javascript a lot of times people jump into react without knowing how these things are done and they've never done this before so in this course we go in and we teach you how to do all this stuff like right now this might for somebody that's looking at this and say oh what is this just a like a login page it has uh information about the facebook the instagram the dribble uh google et cetera right it's simple when it comes to html css the power is when you get to learn how to actually do this with just javascript okay creating this from from scratch okay so this is my advice right oh let me see i hate the fact that you hire a random dude from india for yes and but didn't reply to my email requesting you for a job even though i'm from the usa well the truth is uh buddy is that at the end of the day i knew this individual already right so that's why i gave him a job so sometimes this is what what it comes down to and this is why i tell you guys life is not fair you might go to a job interview and you might say well [ __ ] you know i'm qualified but why didn't i get the job maybe that person that went in there before you has gone to a meet-up maybe the person knows the the person who's interviewing maybe they went to high school maybe you know what uh their uh brothers delay you know what i mean you know what brothers delecia is for those you gotta say maybe they they [ __ ] the same chick right and maybe they know each other right so now because they know each other that person feel more comfortable to say you know what you know what i'm not gonna take a risk with a random individual i'll give a chance to somebody that i know his quality of work like ram i know ram i've seen his work i've seen him here for about eight nine months or even longer he's been here for longer than that but he's been sending me his work for like eight nine months so at the end of the day am i gonna hire a random dude that i gotta go and take a risk or am i gonna hire somebody that i already know his work and his work ethic you know what i'm saying so that's what it is okay eskimo brothers right in spanish and mano deleci you know what i mean that's monitor yeah like you never know you might go you might go to a job interview and the chick that that y'all both had the night before is oh [ __ ] you you're in the interview oh you know what i mean like yeah [ __ ] like that happens and now he got a job know so that's how it is but anyways going back to what we were talking about sorry i just wanted to throw that in there and mana legend you know what i mean um i always love saying that word um but yeah uh like i was saying man so building this whole thing with pure javascript from the ground up it can really teach you everything that you need to know as far as like reacting understanding more because if you don't know how this thing is done with another javascript when you go to react all of this seems like magic you know rogelio looking forward to seeing your country hey have fun bro enjoy it yeah man i don't know and also too it's like people feel like they're entitled like what makes you feel entitled to get a job from me like there's freaking hundreds of people who sent me applications and i looked at everybody's application i look at everybody's projects and they're not at the same level right as you know ram the truth right i've seen their portfolios i've seen the projects that they worked at what i liked about rand was that he has like [ __ ] attention to detail like he went in there all his projects are freaking perfect right so that tells me that you know if i give him something and even now that he just sent me i got him to work on on this thing right i'll show you guys right now into this individual right show you the work that he's doing see if i could load this up so you can understand the type of work that he's doing he's he's doing quality work and i'm glad that i hired him okay so i'll give you guys an example see if this loads up discord is acting up today okay so let me show you this so this is a theme that we are working on right now this theme looks exactly like the design exactly like the design everything is responsive looks nice looks exactly how i wanted it right i didn't even have to give him a a mobile version of this he was able to think outside of the box and build this on his own which is exactly what i needed from a developer somebody that i could come in and give him uh you know a design follow the guidelines but then also be creative enough to go and build the rest of the pages okay and this is looking exactly how i needed it to be okay as you can see looking great like what more can i ask you know so at the end of the day you know do i regret it hell no like i'm super happy that i got ram in here you know because at the end of the day it's like yo he freaking he he's doing exactly
