We Built a Life Size Minecraft House

today we are going to build a life-size minecraft house you're probably thinking two things right now those are you there's some really big boxes or some really small dudes and to be honest either way you're not wrong this is the Minecraft house that we're going to attempt to build I did the calculations minecraft Steve is two blocks tall by converting this to the metric system and assuming humans are on average I don't know five four is that right apparently they're three feet tall so that's like I mean I'm six foot four oh yeah I think you're six six six so two of these wouldn't even match yes nor totally six and as you can see I'm seven foot two so these things are pretty tall I thought you were six four okay so the the driver just pulled up apparently the trucks outside oh hey Steve roll what that big of a truck for some boxes oh my god he said the boxes are really heavy we need to get it to the backyard somehow oh man no maybe we could even just do it right here no no to the backyard that's all but we could try to figure it out over here I sure do it like over there in there okay nephew that'd be pretty soap you think I'm down for that okay let's do it would we be able to drop it off here and kind of take them one by one or like piece by piece honestly bro I think we would have to do that for the first one okay okay what are we doing nineteen hundred pounds it's a ton literally this thing just looks heavy oh my god Oh [Music] my shoulders are SH what's the word quaking I'm done for right now you're gonna need an ice bath ice bath challenge do you need a hand that's right to the right easy oh here we go hey I'm sweating profusely right now so well I didn't help myself in my outfit I just showered so we're gonna try to assemble one of these apparently they're three feet tall so that's like I mean I'm six foot four oh yeah I think you're six six six so two of these wouldn't even match what are you doing it so bad I've worked too many retail jobs that's one minecraft box ladies and gentlemen how many did you order 200 200 of these and as you can see I'm 7 foot 2 so these things are pretty tall I thought you were 6 4 this is gonna be crazy we're so basically the the height is gonna be at least 4 of the your box okay oh my god dude put that on top of each other oh my god what we get literally like make this the doorway and just like walk inside literally these are the doorway yeah yeah this is gonna be so cool I'm hived let's go now we only have 198 more I was gonna say I'm gonna try to call people to come whoa you have to put another one on top of that somehow so we're gonna make a run to Home Depot because we don't even have paint yet and also I need to stop sweating I'm gonna change I need to get a drink as well you see three boxes we're putting another one on top at least bro that's good that's gonna be taller that that are actually dude that might actually it will it is this is almost as tall is it one more box will do it so Brian just has this awesome idea we're gonna try to throw this box on top of those I think I could do it you think so yeah all right how many likes if I do it for four blocks four likes there we go you know if I actually got this I'll be legendary okay oh let me get a good angle of it oh my god ready dude I can't even see the top of the boxes alright go put my legs into this one once you get it it's heavy it's like cardboard but it's like thirty pounds yo it's actually hard for these two knockdowns dirty I can't believe what it's kind of heavy they are I always wanted to do that to something come on really put your legs into it there we go you have to get at least close yeah come on oh no way okay we'll figure out a way to put this on the top yeah we did a ladder maybe I'm just imagining walking through this right now oh my gosh I'm practically a real Minecraft character right now this is crazy everything is to scale which is the craziest part can you imagine in Minecraft just placing a block this I've been playing a lot of Minecraft lately so I'm just like I used to play every single day really it's making a huge comeback right now it past fortnight in like Google searches are you serious dead serious so you play minecraft come on wait so they let you pick like a huge variety this is great this is gonna be like hard to choose I'm not gonna let guys let me pull up the blocks so this is an oak block in Minecraft what color oh wait or is it this one I think this is more accurate plus we have cardboard no no over here over here for sure we need the darker color because we're gonna fill it in with lines yeah we got that oh that one right there wait yeah that looks we're not this for the dark part this one right here yeah so for the spruce planks no for the oak we're gonna get these for the lines cuz the cardboards already ground I think for if anyone just saw what I was looking at they'd be like what are you doing for the spruce I think this would be good close enough that spruce yeah I think that's spruce block and then for the no wait this is we're making wood blocks okay that's all I know brown is brown so I think we should just get these and then a few grains and white black will be yeah I'm done oh no artists who trying our best what we're doing is building a Minecraft like every box is three feet tall like three by three by three okay and we want to painted them to look like this loss okay so I mean I don't know how big of an actual house they're going with likes like pretty big feet by like 2700 feet tall it's like a house you're going yeah I mean we could start with like two of each and do you need to come back could we just come back yeah so you I don't get labels on top of the can you just bring that in take a picture of it Oscar set let's go Michael's coming through yeah this is all it so your names will be on the top here's all your original chips right over here check out yeah all right perfect that's a lot of paint dude yeah corn only some more than yeah these boxes are bigger than my future I think rug said a couple of his cousins are coming over to help us with the boxes which is great because it's more about 2 percent done assembling them and then we have to paint them and then we have to actually make them a house this idea seemed a lot easier when I was actually building the house in Minecraft itself I just want to give a heartfelt thank you for your service to all the Minecraft gamers out there putting myself in into this position today has really opened my eyes to how brave they are I'm gonna put together some boxes now [Music] okay I'm going to attempt to throw this on top of one of those two stacks I did the math and there's no way I fail brain my wrists [Music] oh you can do it ah so what we're gonna do is we're gonna make one box at a time and start laying down like the the base of the house okay and then maybe we can start with the door and just like build up as we go and we'll paint it I think we'll paint it after yeah like anything we can reach anyway so we have the foundation of the front of the house so far so we're gonna paint the blocks the ones that are like reachable once we get it set down but they'd like the roof blocks and stuff we're gonna have to paint before these things are huge I wish you guys could like I guess you could tell because we're like human massive like this two blocks does that least six inches taller than me oh my gosh do you like what that's wild the hardest part is assembling these boxes like I said Bryan's cousins are coming clutch they're on their way [Music] so Marco and Anthony are gonna be racing compiling these boxes you literally just got here both of you and they're you like going ahead so all right I'm gonna pull the stopwatch starting in 3 2 1 go oh geez I'm going for Anthony I think are you I really don't know took like two minutes for one if we want to like fill the doorway like a row of boxes we should get three boxes side by side and tape them together on the side so we can just like put it on top okay that way there's a doorway something's out do that let's get some tape I hope tape works this is the dream team all right there we go perfect fingers crossed honestly my entire it's gonna work dude here is that this tape is gonna work it's gonna work no question okay okay I think we're just gonna right here oh it's so steep and then just push it against this one yes hopefully work [Music] yeah we're gonna start painting [Music] we are going to extremes upon this doorway this thing is gonna be a heavy dude I already know let's see if the middle box actually stays or if it caves in oh my - oh my god no way so apparently 226 p.m. I've been here working on this thing for 3-4 hours now I mean we're getting the base is done and the hardest part that we're running into is the roof because the cardboard boxes you have to like tape them together and then it's a matter also these things are so heavy all of the boxes put together are 2,000 pounds so it's just a matter of like we're trying to call more people so we can get help putting the roof on raising the roof quite literally other than that like we won't have too much painting to do I'm hoping we have enough time to like add details to the blocks to actually make them look like wood but yeah the biggest thing right now is just getting that Roux figured out and also I'm a little parched just a little bit how you feeling so far I think that it's coming together perfect yeah I'm tired as hell yeah well we're gonna push through this we are and we're gonna make this the greatest video on the Internet dude I am stoked all right you guys I feel like just the effort that is going into this unparalleled I just want to say like I don't think I've like put this much effort into a video which is like crazy because I put a lot of effort but like this is like insane how many videos have you made you've got to be in the closest a thousand no yeah I'm like 1,200 1,300 that's insane crazy this is number one whenever we put that like doorway overhead it was like this is gonna did - yeah it's gonna be epic for his Anthony just taking a water break yeah yeah and we got another person coming oh really yeah he's like he's a legit six foot three or something so it's gonna help us we need height for this video cuz yeah I mean we are eight feet but like yeah I'm nine foot - now actually no way yeah I'm only at nine foot they were grinding room cousins came through if it was just me and Brian we don't I don't think we would have yet I don't think we would have finished this not at all to be honest you would have missed your flight I would have missed my foot and we'd be here while my flight is taking off painting boxes this massive oh hi Bosley this massive formation of cardboard boxes isn't even half the roof and it weighs over 300 pounds it wouldn't hold up with just tapes that we started tying the pieces together and hopefully when we flip it over it will stay intact oh my god no way the better be recording yeah oh my god it worked Holy Smoke yeah this is the easy part by the way [Music] look at an empty wrist let me see 6:45 X 40 did I already say 6:45 No so I feel like we haven't done nothing like at least now and a half first you got food and then we just went so hard to finish this place what do you think how you did it definitely exceeded my expectations that's all I'm gonna say whenever I thought of this house like I came over this video ID like a month ago when I started playing Minecraft again I didn't not imagine it one beat this scale but to like it actually is pretty insane that we were able to pull this off like the laws of physics on our side - yup rolling out there were so many like speed bumps we ran into yeah the whole time but then we figured it out we overcame it and like every time I look at it my jaw just drops cuz it's like we really did that oh it's massive oh yeah literally there was like probably three times I was like well there it is so we're not gonna be able to so we had so many doubts but we pulled through we got help from people - so okay so I'm gonna show you guys the house don't drop your jaw too hard okay so here's the big reveal I feel like wait will you actually stand next to it just so we can like show people the sheer size yes dude oh my god okay here we go three two it looks insane dude let's go inside let's go inside oh my god so okay we don't have a door we don't have enough wood planks to make a door or a crafting table we don't have one of those okay so we need to explain why the roof thing didn't happen there's so many explanations as to why the roof didn't come together I mean you guys saw the struggle for just this part of the room so we would kind of have to duplicate that times maybe like almost double this size to put on that side this wasn't even half of it and you guys saw how much energy that took and how much luck but I think we did what we could because also the other factor is that I'm leaving in the morning yeah so we just don't have enough time to make this as good as it could be but at the same time we tried so hard I feel like we went way past anyone's expectation hundred percent I'm sure they didn't even expect it to look like this - and I see this open area right here as a design like the skylight yes the skyline just just chillin in the middle of our home like if it rains it rains rains we go under here this spot is dope right here just this spot it's so great so our plan is for Bryan's video we're gonna put furniture in here and we're gonna get it TVs yes ps4 and actually play minecraft minecraft house in real life that is gonna be insane is there anything else we need to do showcase this place a little bit more I mean you guys can go ahead and just admire our painting skills please do there's the bushes you've got the wood planks okay so this right here was me and this was Ryan I think yours is a little bit more straighter than I mean who's who's counting yeah honestly come on wait I'm gonna go out to the street like literally someone just drove by I'm trying to imagine what they would be thinking right now three two one no we started at 9 a.m. it's basically 7:00 so I'm not good at math but you know 10 hours please smash like button guys how many likes for this minecraft house dude I think they can easily pull a hundred easily so I don't know the man wrong prove me you heard the man yeah honestly this was probably the coolest this is the most effort I've ever put into a video the coolest thing I've done I can't believe we pulled this off we're gonna film for four phase rugs video now that video is gonna be in the description where overnight really gonna sleep in the house why would we just build it and not put it to use and sleep in it that's a great point come on what I'm looking forward to is ordering pizza we have to order pizza imagine the pizza delivery
